a Tommyinnit/ You!!
summary: You were out with friends, a party at night on a weekend. You were with Tommy, and all your other mates, but no matter how hard you tried to focus on them, he was the only your full attention was on. You tried to let it go, thinking it'd never work out, but Tommy himself didn't even agree.

SWEARING, like three/ four times
You were hanging out outside, it being way too hot inside the house of your friend who was celibrating their birthday tonight. The night was at it's fullest, your phone telling you it was past midnight. But the night wasn't over yet, even though you knew your throat was sore from the yelling and singing, your eyes tiredly looking at the group around you. You were sitting on the steps of your local library, which had obviously already closed, the moonlight shining on the sidewalk. The night was silent, which was rare for your city, almost nobody around. You smiled softly, seeing your friends press their noses on the stained glass window of the library, trying to see if another shipment of new books had arrived yet. 'Nerds' one of your friends mumbled, and you laughed. They really were, so were you considered to be, but you all were in a good way. You hoped. 'How is it still hot out?!' Tommy sighed, rolling up the sleeves of his jumper and laying down on the second to lowest step. You sneekily catched a look of him, fighting back the urge to stare at him hard. But who can blame you, he just looked so handsome tonight. His blue jumper complimenting his gorgeous eyes, the moonlight perfectly reflecting on his blonde curls. His tall figure looked at his hands, who were playing with the matches he always carried around. 'Well maybe it is because you're almost setting your fingers on fire with those?!' Emma said, a girl in your friendgroup. He snickered at her, and you sighed deeply. It wasn't ideal having a crush on one of your best friends. Well, that wasn't fair, it wasn't a 'crush'. You were madly in love with him. You had been for so long, and your heart had sunk to your stomach when Emma told you and Irah, your best friend, she had developed a crush on him two weeks ago. You just simply cóúldn't be in love with him, you felt. It would ruin yours and Emma’s friendship, even though she wasn’t nice to you at all. Plus, you overthinked a lot, worrying Irah would take Emma’s side, and you’d be all alone. And oh boy, did you try to force it out, to ignore it, to stop it, but after a damn year, you knew that you were hopeless.
'Aye, you alright there?' a voice snapped you out of your thoughts, a waving hand breaking your stare in front of you. You looked up, next to you, and Tommy's tall figure was sitting next to you. You kinda jumped, not having noticed him moving from his place under you on the stairs. 'Woah there-' you said, 'Ah, sorry, I was just thinking, how are you?' you muttered. 'No no, don't you lie to me now, c'mon Y/n look at me' he said, focussing on you still. His hand lifted to grab your chin, to turn your face to look at his. But the truth was, you couldn't bear to. His perfect face was too hard to look at, if you did, you would want to hold him, and kiss him, and you'd probably be red as a tomato. And you were, his eyes looking at yours with a sympathetic look. He looked directly into your eyes, which made you flush immediately. 'i-It's nothing Tom, I swear.' you said, turning back quickly. 'Mmkay. Talk to me if somethings up alright?' he made sure, and you smiled at him, before playing with your hands again. He remained seated next to you, which made your heart flutter. 'Tommy, can I show yo-' Emma began, but you really didn't want this moment to end, so you confidently interrupted her. 'Sorry, Tom I did want to ask you something.' His head snapped back your way, his look surprised. 'Yeah, yeah, go ahead' he answered. You could almost hear the roll of Emma's eyes, but you let it slide. This was your moment. You deserved this. 'It's about the book you recommended, I love it, I finsihed it in 3 days.' you smiled and carried up the courage to look at him. He had a soft crimson color spread around his nose. 'Really? Actually? That book had 400 pages, that's insane' he commented. You looked down again, worried you sounded desperate,or weird. 'No but, that's awesome Y/n! What did you think of the time structure?' he said quickly, which made you smile again. 'I loved it! It was quite unique, but it was just perfect.’ He threw his head back and you stole a glance again. 'Oh yes! I was sure you would love it.. And the characters? Wait no! Let me guess, Landon was your favorite!' he said, genuinely excited. Your heart beated faster and faster. He got it right. 'YES! Yes, actually!' you smiled brightly, and he scooted closer next to you. You tried not to yell out of happiness and let the butterflies in your stomach take over, but it was hard. You continued about the book, moved on to movies, and other books.
'I don't know, I just thought about you while watching tha-' you tried to tell Tommy, but this time, Emma interrupted you. 'Well guys!!' she started loudly, you immediately noticed the annoyance in her voice. 'I'm hungry. Are you hungry? Should we go to that 24/7 open bakery?’ she stood up, already deciding to go. ‘Yooo, yeah, we should get those chocolate pastries if they have those.’ Lucien called out, and everyone stood up, ready to leave. You sighed, accepting your faith of ending the conversation with Tommy. Emma walked up one step to stand in front of Tommy, holding out her hand for him to hold. You got up from the marble steps, your mood instantly dropping, until a force pulled you back down. ‘I’m staying here with Y/n actually, Emma.’ Tommy commented. You looked from his face to Emma’s, shocked he ACTUALLY JUST SAID THAT. Emma’s face turned into a look of storm and anger, but knew there was no really forcing you both to go with them, so she said ‘alright then. Have fun, tssk’, whilst dropping her hand back to her side again. Tommy looked at you, questioning. ‘Did you wanna go, or?’ he asked, to make sure. ‘NO! I mean, no, I’d rather stay here.’ you answered. ‘I’m glad.’ he said with a smile, and you both eyed the group as they slowly started to get further out of your vision.
It felt like an eternity, or just a couple minutes, but the time told you you sat there for 2 hours, alone, talking. You smiled, and blushed, and laughed, and blushed again. He joked around, he talked about his life and he talked about serious things. You listened, and added your own stories to his. He pointed to the night sky, and you talked about more books. It was one of the best nights of your life, if not the best. After the first hour, he went to stretch his legs, not liking sitting down for such a while. He jumped off the steps, still listening to you, but spinning around on the sidewalk. You giggled at him, and he moved to the road, there was no cars anyway. You watched him, admired him, not scared to stare anymore. ‘Whatcha sitting there for? C’mon here!’ He yelled as he jumped around, still spinning. You laughed, wondering where all his sudden energy came from. ‘Nahhh-’ you began, but he shouted: ‘YES, COME HERE Y/N’ which made you laugh harder than you had ever before that night. You stood up, and walked up to him. He walked closer to you, looking down at you. It was intimidating, and your heart was racing, you had to admit. But you gladly took his hand as he spun you around and as he started singing some random song. You spun, looking up at the clear, summer, night sky.
The stars shined down on you two, like spotlights on a performance on stage. Just for you. Suddenly, he was next to you, and confidently flush your body against his. You let out a yelp, and looked up into his eyes, the blue looking kindly back at you. He smiled and told you to dance with him, here, on a random road. ‘It’s such a fine night. Won’t you dance with me?’ it was cheesy, and romantic, and you couldn’t believe you were actually doing this right now. He held you close, you started to slow down and sway back and forth to a rythm only you and him heard. You lay your head on his chest, though you were sure he could feel your fast heartbeat through your chest. His hands lowered to your lower back, and you felt tingles everywhere. He lay his head atop of yours, until he moved. He parted just a little bit, and you were scared that the moment was about to end, but the opposite would be true. ‘Y/n’ he whispered softly. ‘Tom’ you answered him, slowly looking him in his eyes again, like he wanted. He was scared to let the words roll out of his mouth, so he just looked at you for a bit. You giggled softly. ‘What’s up?’ you asked again. ‘I, well, uh,’ he looked away from your eyes, but slowly guided his eyes back again. ‘Kiss me.’ he said it, and it was like a firework exploded, spreading sparkles around inside of your body. You wanted it bad, so bad, his perfect kissable lips attracting yours like a magnet. ‘I- I want to, so bad, have been wanting to for months.’ you muttered, shyness spreading through your mind. Your hands carressed his neck, you both so close to each other that you could feel each other’s breathing. He looked at you concerned, waiting for the ‘but’ to come. ‘But I, I love you. There, I said it. So much, and I don’t want a one time thing. And Emma, Emma is one of my best friends.’ you started, ‘She’s a complete d1ck to you- and I know she likes me, but I don’t. I lóve yóú. Only you.’ he said, and it was as if you were alone in this world, just you two. ‘You do?’ you asked, softly. ‘Yes! yes I do, darling, and you have always been the right person. I have waited all my life, and I won’t just let you go out of it right now. I don’t care about anybody else. It’s just us. I can’t just hold it in anymore.’ he spoke, closer to you than ever. The distance between your lips was too much, way too much, especially after the words he just spoke. He was the one. So you gathered all the courage you had, and reached up, kissing him. He pressed his lips against yours too, wrapping his arms around your waist tighter. The kiss was long, and deep, and everything you’ve ever wanted. It was better than you could’ve imagined, and you had, lots of times. The butterflies, once just in the pit of your stomach, now spreading through your entire body. He did wonders on you.
He broke the kiss, but didn’t move yet. For a second, you thought you could see his eyes tearing up, but then he smiled. ‘Oh honey, I’ve wanted this for so long.’ He hugged you close, and you held him, finally realising this wasn’t a dream. ‘Me too. You have no idea how much.’ you answered. And once again, a burst of energy had made it’s way to his body, and he spun you around again. You laughed, and kissed him again, and another time, and another. Out of breath from the dancing and the kissing, you moved to the steps of the library again. He sat you down, and claimed his seat next to you. His arm moved around you, to hold you close again. You both were smiling like idiots, a comfortable silence spread. You broke it. ‘It’s getting pretty chilly.’ you shivered softly. He looked at you and then moved, getting his arms out of his jumper. ‘What are you doing?’ you laughed as he struggled to get it off of him. ‘Here,’ he said ‘put this on.’ You smiled at him, putting on the blue fabric. It was a bit big on you, but it was warm, and smelled like him. ‘Won’t you be cold, in only a T-shirt?’ you asked. ‘Noo, and besides, I think it looks stunning on you.’ he admired you as you flushed again, your face warm. ‘What about the others, I think they may come back in a bit.’ you questioned him, pointing at his jumper on your frame. ‘Well, I don’t care, I mean. Us, what about that?’ he asked you, looking you in the eyes once more. ‘What are you implying?’ you knew exactly what he was implying, but asked him still. ‘I am asking if you want to be my partner, Y/N’ You knew for sure this was the peak at how red you had been tonight. This was ACTUALLY HAPPENING. You had to hold back your excitedly yelling, but still couldn’t help a yelp and a ‘YES!’ which made him smile widely and give you a quick peck again. ‘what “YES!” ?’ Lucien immitaded you , as your friendgroup returned around the corner, hands full of food and drinks. ‘Here Tom, I brought you one of the rolls you like-’ Emma said, but she quickly stopped as she saw the scene in front of her. Tom’s arm was around you, holding you close, you were wearing hís jumper, and you both were blushing like crazy. ‘Well, Lucien, I said yes, because Tommy and I just agreed that we’re dating now’ you said, which made your boyfriend look at you, surprised at your confidence. He nudged you a little closer proudly. ‘Sorry?’ Emma said, who almost dropped her food. ‘Emma, calm down,’ Irah said, and they took her with them to calm her down. Tommy announced: ‘Well, we will be going home, if that’s okay, Y/n?’ he looked at you. You nodded happily, knowing he wanted some more alone time with you. He walked with you, and Irah smiled at you and gave you a big thumbs up. You whisper yelled: ‘Will tell you all about it tomorrow,’ to them and continued to walk home. ‘I love you so much.’ Tommy said once more, and you said it back happily. You learned to just go with your feelings, and you didn’t care about Emma, or anyone right now. Just Tommy, and only Tommy. He kissed your temple. You smiled.
a/n: OH MY GOD THIS IS SO LONG- AND OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. This is my favorite thing i’ve ever written. Thank you so much for the request, I hope you guys loved this. I’m gonna do some more requests right now, thankyou all for still being here. I love you so freacking much. I couldn’t do this without you.You matter so much.

I dont know if you already told us something like that, but what about Lilac family and how are their relationship with Ethan? And friends before Edenbrook?
And which things they have in common besides medicine?
Hello! Thank you so much for these questions! Once again, you've inspired me to think about them more in depth! I love it!
what about Lilac family and how are their relationship with Ethan?
Her mother, grandmothers, and most of her aunts/cousins love Ethan. Oh my god. At family reunions or barbecues (the ones they fly out for), they are at his beck and call. El doctor más guapo can do no wrong. Other aunts and cousins are green with envy that Lilita scored such a good catch.
Ethan has a good relationship with her siblings. They joke around with him a lot and over the years, Ethan is comfortable enough to joke back.
It took a while for her dad to fully warm up to Ethan, but they got there.
And friends before Edenbrook?
Her friends before Edenbrook lost their shit when they found out Lilac married her celibrity crush slash medical hero. Those in the medical field were even more impressed because he's Ethan Ramsey.
“Can't believe you're sleeping with the greatest doctor of his generation.”
The only people from her pre-Edenbrook who hate Ethan are her asshole ex, Alex (Chris Evans lol) and an old family friend/neighbor Lilac grew up with. When they were younger, everyone thought they'd end up together, including him. His bad, but still. He's not a fan.
And which things they have in common besides medicine?
They have similar political views and they both love traveling. They find common ground in their appreciation of other cultures, food, and history. I think, though, what makes them an excellent couple is the ways they differ and how those differences still complement each other.
