It seems like people are more likely to write villainous CE characters as subs than non villainous ones? Like Ransom's the one that's written as a sub the most and Loyd's being written as one too. But then I think it's got less to do with them being villains and more to do with them being, as CE put it, not being as stoic as say Steve or Curtis.

(Ik in terms of pure volume, most sub CE content is sub Steve but that's because most CE content is Steve but I'm talking proportionally here.)

You are right. I see more villainous characters as subs. For me, there is something so alluring about this man that people fear, but he puts all his guard down with you. Loves and is comforted enough to let you control him. In my experience, most subs seem to have so much control in life. They’re powerful. But in the bedroom, they want out of their head. Give all that control to someone. So why wouldn’t a villain? Same with Steve, he’s so stoic, but how powerful does it make you feel that you could top him?

For me personally I don’t see canon Steve as a sub at all, but a pure Dom. He likes control. And he borders the line of a healthy Dom. While I do enjoy exploring the sub!Lloyd, I prefer him in control 😂 but maybe that’s because I’m a natural sub. I want someone to control me. Push me past my limits and boundaries, ya know? I think that’s why a lot of writers use non-con. There’s more to it than that. But imagine someone telling you what you’re going to do for them? Sometimes we’re curious about sexual exploration, but also terrified. If they’re making us, there’s less shame? At least for me, that’s why I enjoy to write it. It’s deeper than that but, it’s Monday morning too 😆

Honestly more inexperienced subs and bottoms should seek guidance from other subs and bottoms. I get why you'd wanna chat with the hot Dom that gets you so horny on tumblr about it, but like, they haven't been where you've been.

one (understandably) underappreciated thing about madara is that he's one of the oldest characters in the series,,,, yet even when he's literally a wrinkly old caveman on life support he never switches from using ore to using washi.
