- Author's Summary: "Tony lost Pepper in the Snap. What he gains, what EARTH gains, is a 'gift' from Thanos: Soulmates. Some say that the mad Titan used the stones to do this out of respect for Earth's role in his grand design, others say it's to make those left behind complacent, docile-- even grateful.

Tony isn't grateful. He's pissed. His Words are a cruel slap in the face, and the whole concept is bullshit. He spends a year doing right by the world with his company and then settles down to build his lake house. Tony falls for his smart, gorgeous architect as easy as breathing, all the while feeling self-righteous about the whole 'inevitability' of Soulmates. - YALL. THE SLOW BURN IN THIS?? Godly. It is SO GOOD. So detailed. The angst??? Whoooo buddy. This fic had me on the edge of my seat, biting my fist, it was that good. It had me by the throat and honestly it still does. I should probably be embarrassed of how many times I've reread it, but I'm not.

Two Wicks, One Flame by AmberSnapeBlack on ao3

- Author's Summary: "Emma has had it rough her whole life. Her experiences have shaped her into who she is today, a twenty three year old bus girl with no self esteem or backbone. She hates the lime light...well she hates socializing at all. She has never paid her soul mark any mind. Most days, she forgets it even exists. That will change for her in a way she never anticipated.

What comes with bearing the soul mark of the man who is the forefront of the Avengers? Who is almost always in lime light? Who is possibly, already taken? Does she want to know?"

- SUCH A GOOD FIC. You can't help but root for Emma. There are real sweet parts but some real angsty ones too. Also, it was interesting to read a fic with Pep being a not-so-nice-guy.

Nope! I think most writing loses its essence in translation.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Yes! It was so much fun!!!

14. What's your all time favourite ship?

Probably Daniel/Sha're, or Daniel/Vala (Stargate) but also partial to Steve/Nat (MCU), and Matt/Elektra (Daredevil). But X reader fics are the most fun you can have 💘

15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have a dirty Daredevil X reader languishing in my wips. Might get around to it when I watch the new season.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Character voices and attentions to detail. People usually comment on those things. I'm also good at bringing the Drama™️. There may be some screaming, crying and throwing up 😂

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Keeping it short and sweet, my slow burns really are slow burns. I have to pay specific attention to pacing and linking scenes well. I do way too much Research™️ .

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I would if I had a native language speaker to proof read it for me.

As a reader I find it annoying if I have to keep moving back to the chapter notes to check translations. It interrupts the flow.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

The X-files but I was a kid, does that count? Supernatural is probably more relevant.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Honestly, I love my two novels, I'm pretty attached to them 🥰 they've been such a journey, personally and in terms of developing my writing skills.

I love it. Let's do this! In no particular order (since I'm going to answer this before attempting writing for a while), we have:

@drabblewithfrannybarnes probably doesn't know how long I've been reading her hockey series, but she also cannot fathom my excitement that she read and reviewed a single thing I've written, much less dozens. I tear up every time, and the acceptance it makes me feel as a fic writer is...indescribable.

@navybrat817 and @darkficsyouneveraskedfor --Navy and Roo have been doing amazing things with their Sleepover efforts. The support and encouragement they've been providing to so many in our community is just fantastic, and while I'm sad I haven't been up to participating more, they deserve every shoutout and accolade. Trophies for you lovelies!

@peyton--warren works so f--king hard on each and every posted work that I'm inspired to always rethink and be better. She considers so many facets of characters and plot that I know I'm getting a treat of a read!

@jamneuromain --where to start?? The RANGE on this lovely's writing is phenomenal. So many universes in one head; I don't know how to keep up! I could never imagine half of those scenarios, but I hope to one day come close. 💜

@darsynia is my personal convert to a Steve Rogers fan lol, and she's nipping at my heels to overtake me. I can hear her loving screams in comments now! But in all sincerity, everyone should know that I would not be here or writing today without her. She's my rock and her talent is off the charts. 🔥😘

@anika-ann feels like a long-lost sister. We love the same aspects of Steve (+other characters), and I know we both work tirelessly to bring that to the page in a bunch of different ways. She's PROLIFIC, too, and I bow down to how fast she whips out her quality fics. Again, a complete inspiration!

@sweater-daddiesdumbdork is a sweetheart who writes us as humans and I adore every word. Her Curtis series is my happy place, and I am forever grateful. It's a real-life boost of worth and encouragement.
