Ooooh how about the other P5 cast? Strikers and Royal included. In the Flower child au
Havent played strikers yet (I own it and will get to it soon I swear 😞)
The first time Ann hears about Akira knowing gas chamber is from Ryuji. So its no surprise that she thinks he's full of shit and Akira would 100% commit to the bit and never confirm it. Everyone else will similarly follow suit and also think Ryuji is trying really hard to convince them that not only does Akira totally know gas chambers on a personal level but tatsujun isnt just PR. Theyre married and are Akira's adopted parents. It gets to the point that Ann and Ryuji start arguing about it publically. It becomes a running joke among there classmates.
Most of their classmates are pretty ick about it (they dont really think positively of Ann Ryuji and akira as is so they joke about how the deliquent is really out here trying to convince everyone he's related to celebrities). Mishima on the other hand believed it the instant he was told:
Ryuji: *points to Akira* This guy is the love child of tatsujun from gas chamber
Mishima: *sideeying ryuji* reaaaaally?
Akira: *straight faced knowing he looks like he knows you know hes lying* yep.
It was enough for Mishima.
Futaba already knew. She found out while doing a bg check on Akira before he moved into the cafe. She also doesnt tell anyone bc she also thinks it's fucking hilarious that no one else knows.
Haru initially doesnt believe them but she once met Jun at a charity function when she was younger. He had tatsuya with him and she did get the impression that they actually were romantically together. One day she corners Akira to find out the truth but it very much goes similarly as it did with mishima (Akira confirms but is he *actually* confirming it or just messing around??) Haru is eventually able to get a crack in the facade when she tells him how he met the two before and how she thinks they might actually be together. How encouraging it was to see a queer couple who were so in love that they couldnt really hide it. Akira breaks and ends up sharing family photos with her.
If youve seen my flower child au comics theyre kinda inconsistent with how and when morgana and Akechi find out. Earlier comics had them knowing during the events of the game while my more recent comics have them finding out post game. But i think I prefer them knowing during game cause it just makes better sense for me timeline wise so....ignoreing my own comics I guess
Morgana would technically be told the same time as Ryuji except Morgana would have 0 context as to who tatsuya and jun are or even who gas chambers is. So from Morgana's perspective Ryuji thought Akira's dad (who morgana saw pictures of from when Akira was a kid) was a girl. (He will never let Ryuji forget this). Ryuji would later be talking about gas chambers with Ann and she would be the one to show morgana their music and recordings of interviews and live shows. Because theyre fully dressed like a v-kei band Morgana wont put 2 and 2 together until after he actually meets them.
Even though he would also do a background check on Akira, Akechi doesnt know that about who Akira's parents are. (Jun and tatsuya couldnt legally adopt Akira so technically Katsuya and Maya would be Akira's legal parents but everyone in sumaru knows bc Jun and Tatsuya never hid their relationship. Also all the members of Gas Chambers go by a stage name for privacy reasons)
Like Ryuji Akechi also grew up familar with Gas Chamber bc his mom was a fan (side note: I think both Ryuji and Akechi would have young moms who couldve been good friends). Akechi, gun to head, would never admit this to anyone especially not akira but Jun would be his gay awakening. Akira only finds this out after Akechi meets his parents. They dont break up over this but they get close to it. Akira would refuse to talk to his dads for a week when he finds out leaving his parents panicked bc their bby boy is big sad and might have broken up with his first bf but doesnt want their help. They stay together and all is good but lord help Akechi if he ever points out any similarities between Jun and Akira.
Yusuke has no fucking clue who Gas Chambers is. But when he meets Eikichi he will go to stalker level to get a chance to draw him. Luckily for him Eikichi finds out about the little weirdo thinking hes beautiful and is all about it. He keeps every piece Yusuke gives him and even has Yusuke's paintings in the family restaurant as well as his home.
Sorry this is rambly!
Edit: I forgot Sumire!! I'll be honest, I have no clue. I dont believe she would know who Gas Chambers is. Futaba would probably only know bc she's a gremlin and constantly online.
Sumire most likely would think Ryuji is trying to tease her and not believe him either. She would be with the squad when they go visit Akira and find out Ryuji didnt lie. Shed be glad that Futaba and Akira got the pleasure of their long con going through without failure.
Also the p2 squad will realize that the metaverse was a thing when they hear Morgana talk.

(copy pasted from my reddit)
I always thought Mike would be better if his personalities were actually just characters he made up, and I wrote a backstory for this alternate Mike:
He always struggled to make friends, being generally introverted and socially awkward, with a somewhat strict family. When he was 12 he found his first friends, a group of delinquents a few years his senior. They accepted Mike but he had to do dangerous/illegal things with them, which freaked him out as a bit of a momma's boy. He did his hair in that emo style for his "bad boy" image. His friends all had nicknames for each other. Mike's was Mal.
One day they got caught vandalizing and stealing hundreds of dollars worth of stuff from a store, and they were sentenced to a few months in juvie each. Mal only "ran the place" because he was backed up by his "friends", more of a puppet ruler than anyone with actual power. Mike realized these kids didn't really like him while in juvie too.
He switched schools after finishing his sentence and vowed never to go back to deliquency or his Mal phase again. He was always a fairly fit kid, and learned to be nimble from his crime spree, so his parents put him in gymnastics.
Mike still felt like an impostor at times, doing all these epic tricks and such, when in he still felt like the wannabe edgelord he was in juvie. He idolized an Olympian named Svetlana and made this exaggerated version of her to help him gain confidence, and it worked surprisingly well.
The next character to come up was Vito, as Mike was always bad with talking to girls, and he had studied other method actors while perfecting Svetlana. Only this time Vito wasn't quite as good at his job as she was. Vito's relationships were shallow, but it was better than nothing, Mike reasoned.
Mike was 15 or so when he decided to make a character just to make himself or others laugh. Enter Chester and his darn whippersnappers. It was also a healthier way to get out his negative emotions than Vito's flirting or Mal's delinquency.
Finally, Manitoba Smith (best personality in my opinion). Mike had never been in major life or death situations before Total Drama, and so he watched a lot of survival shows before he joined. He figured "Why not make a character out of this?", and once the opportunity came on A Mine Is A Terrible Thing To Waste, Manitoba made his debut.
He could bond with Zoey over having lonely childhoods, or alternatively end up with Anne Maria. Maybe she has a nice side that ends up showing as she learns to love *all* of Mike, not just the Vito part.
Also, All Stars would make a lot more sense with this Mike in my opinion. I'm biased of course, but having Mike revert to Mal in the presence of all these classic TD competitors (especially Duncan) as he feels he doesn't stack up would be cool. Oh, and Mike telling Mal he's a part of him he doesn't need anymore and the "From now on, I'm all Mike all the time," would be less offensive and generally terrible.
What do you think?

Mind over Matter
(A starter for @praeteritus-memories for Akira/Yusuke) That group was definitely up to something. He would have been satisfied to leave it to Makoto Niijima but now she was running around with them too. Akira Kurusu, the deliquent who had that uncanny resemblance to him. Ann Takamaki, best friend of that girl who tried to kill herself due to Sugiru Kamoshida’s sexual abuse. Ryuji Sakamoto, the ex-track delinquent. Now the student council president. “Maybe I should leave them be...” Saburo stated to himself, following at a distance and being careful to make sure Makoto didn’t see him. Her sister was part of the police, but so was his father. Therein lay the problem. Watching as they stopped, he got closer, pretending to be on his way home when Akira took his phone out, he ran towards them to confront them when everything warped, like the heat haze from a barbecue stand. It was still Shibuya but everything was off. Walking ATM’s... Wait, the group were discussing something. Still not being spotted, he overheard “cognition”. Cognition... Cognition... Cognitive Psience!  That was what his mother studied before Jin was hurt. He read her papers on it. Following silently, he saw a broken person, clearly one of Kaneshiro’s victims. It made sense that this would be his cognition. “I daresay he couldn’t pay and Kaneshiro had him beaten for it.” Saburo stated, finally announcing his presence to the group, watching as Ann jumped. “Kusanagi?” She stated. “Takamaki-san... Interesting outfit. I know enough about cognitive psience to make a few deductions about where I am, though how I can possibly be here is another matter.” He shrugged. “Wait, how do you know about this place!” Ryuji asked, suspicious. “And what’s this cognitive psience?” Makoto inquired, curious as to how their classmate knew so much. Blinking softly and sighing, Saburo began. “Cognitive Psience is a branch of experimental metaphysics that believes human thought can alter reality, create another world altered by your cognition of reality. The stronger the feelings, the stronger the distortion. The fact that this place exists proves my mother’s research and the fact that we can access the cognitive distortion of another person would also lead to confirm some aspects of Morphogenetic Field Theory. As I said, I don’t understand all of it. If this is Kaneshiro’s cognition, we shouldn’t be able have physical form. This is just a dimension of psychic energy, atomic matter shouldn’t be able to exist here.”

Marcy character study
(long read)
Okay okay, i seen lot of people being afraid of Marcy betraying Ann and even Sasha (i will explain why but i did mentioned in my 2th post the most likely reason).
Let's start from the begging shall we?.
Alright first thing first, when we as a fandom first were introduced to Marcy, our reaction was "Oh so she is a deliquent?"
Why is that?
Because of this moment
Tumblr media
This is actually a perfect way to introduce the character.
Why?
Because there is more to her then it meet's the eye and thinking on it, we clearly see few things from her expression.
1. She is smugging
2. She is clam and collected
3. She is the one who texted Sasha about the box, which inself is actually weird
Ann said that she is clumsy, smart and oblivious which inself is true BUT it is seen from Ann's perspective.
Let's think about it for a minute
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is how is Marcy is seen from Ann's perspective and even ours.
We seen her being clumsy (a lot actually) however that was kind of a little bit of a red flag to me.
Now when we think about it
Are you telling me that the person who get's her cape on fire, with out fire being around, who stumbles on a rock lot of times is actually called "a master" by newt's?
She said that she went on ton's of missions and she is pretty much, well in one piece which would be pretty weird consindering the fact that she is "clumsy".
Also just to back up to the her being smug which would also seem very much "out of character" and creator said that there is a reason behind her "smug face".
Are you telling me that a girl who is so said to be clumsy, barely look people in the eye and nerdy be kinda smuggy as she is in the control?. Consindering the fact that she is the one who texted Sasha about it and maybe even the person who consinder that Ann steals it.
And i'm not trying to bash on her, i LOVE her character. It is really well written and the plot is really interesting to follow.
It just goes to show one thing
And it is that we don't know anything about her, we just don't know who she really is.
It is pretty clear to me that she is exactly as King himself hinding "that" part of herself infront of others.
The thing about Sasha is from seeing her once, we almost know everything about her character. It is pretty clear that she and Ann had a history together, Ann herself said that she know's her since kindergarten. We can read into Sasha's personalty pretty easly but Marcy is not easy to read.
Marcy is more somebody who changes personalty's in order to fit into situations, her being smug is most likely that she knew about the box but she need's a proof that her "theory" is correct or maybe there is more into it. You don't look smug and collected, while your friend is stealing the box (which inself is a bad thing moraly).
But that is exactly what makes her a human being, we seen how she is honestly happy near Ann but it is clear to everybody by now that there is more to her. We don't even know how Sasha and Ann befriended her in the first place.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Marcy is very complicated person but it makes it very interesting to read her character. She is hiding her emotion but also as Sasha, she is hiding the fact that she is very vulnerable as a person.
I also kinda sense guilt comming from her and i don't know why. When she tried to reach to Ann, she stoped and looked for a moment and when Ann hugged her and thank her, Marcy actually didn't hugged her back, just tapped Ann then just hugged her.
I know that me saying all this things now brings the "red flag" and maybe even the fact that Marcy will betray Ann and Sasha.
In my eyes the offer which King mentioned could be about finding Sasha, because from King's their perspective, he has Anne and the planters and all he need's to do now is get Sasha under his thumb in order for things to go smoothly. However Marcy is not dumb but King will mostly likely tell her a lie which she will thinks that it is true and so the cycle goes on.
Or King will give her an offer (which won't harm Ann or Sasha) but it clearly won't be something good, since well King has a god dam crypt under his basment
and this
Tumblr media
A frog, newt and a toad
Smilling together while the picture is torned apart in fit of the rage which is not exactly the best impression.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You know imagine that a show about amphibian's will have this deep emotional character story?.
I would have NEVER ever quessed it.
I love the show which can give you a false sense of what it is. It's perfect
This will probably be my last post on Amphibia till last 2 epizodes which are next week so ooof.
I have a feeling that last two epizode's of season will hit harder then a brick but i really can see something bad going on.

ABS-CBN's Franchise Death rings the death knell of Press Freedom?
Ne Alawas Cadiog
Tumblr media
JULY 10, 2020 marked the beginning of the death knell of Press Freedom after the House of Representatives tolls the ABS-CBN's franchise application to a dire conclusion. Voting with 70 yes, 11 no, 1 abstain, and 2 inhibits, the House of Representatives denies franchise renewal of the Kapamilya network.
Tumblr media
Photo shows the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City on May 05, 2020 after the National Telecommunications Commission ordered its shutdown.
The network, which is the largest media conglomerate in the country, faced the threat of a network shut down due to its expired franchise on March 30, 2020.
This was when Solicitor General Jose Calida also filed a Quo Warranto petition in the Supreme Court against ABS-CBN claiming that the corporation is partly-owned by foreigners. ABS-CBN rebutted this claim saying that Philippine Depositary Receipts or PDRs do not refer to ownership, but rather, investments to sustain the corporation's growth.
After ABS-CBN being killed off-air, over 10,000 employees lose their jobs, and subsequent consequences may be feared. With the renewal of their franchise being blocked, organizations and journalists see this as proof of the vindicativeness of the government.
What are the violations of the network as stated in the argument debated over during the span of 12 hearings?
•Critics had accused ABS-CBN of illegal foreign ownership.
➡ Justice Undersecretary Emelline Aglipay-Villar testified in the hearings that ABS-CBN Corporation chairman emeritus Eugenio "Gabby" Lopez III is a Filipino because his parents are Philippine citizens, said Zarate.
DOJ: ABS-CBN's Gabby Lopez Filipino citizen from birth. Lopez earlier told congressmen that he was also a dual American citizen because he was born in the US.
"There’s no distinction made between pure Filipino and dual citizens" when it comes to participation in mass media, said Bayan Muna Party List Representative Carlos Zarate, quoting Justice Assistant Secretary Nicholas Ty.
The Securities and Exchange Commission also testified that "a dual citizen is 100 percent Filipino," Zarate added. SEC agrees, dual citizens are '100 percent Filipino'
• Accusation on the Foreign Ownership
➡SEC Commissioner Ephyro Luis Amatong, noted by Zarate, stated that ABS-CBN's Philippine Depositary Receipts "do not reflect transfer of ownership to foreigners."
PDRs allow foreigners to invest without violating PH laws, says Monsod ABS-CBN PDRs 'compliant' with law.
• On Tax Violation
➡Contrary to allegations of tax irregularities, the Bureau of Internal Revenue testified that the network regularly settled taxes and is one of the country's top taxpayers. In addition, Philippine Economic Zone Authority officials also said the broadcaster has no tax shield. BIR says ABS-CBN has no tax deliquency
•On allegations of election coverage bias
➡The Commission on Elections said the network did not violate any poll law. No complaints vs ABS-CBN on election bias.
ABS-CBN news chief Ging Reyes said that Journalism a 'public service'.
•Violation of Worker's Rights
➡Quoting the labor department, Zarate said that it was typical for any big company to face labor cases and that ABS-CBN complied with standards.
DOLE exec stated that ABS-CBN 'fully compliant' with labor standards.
Before the votation of the House of Representatives happened, the Technical Working Group (TWG) of the Committee on Legislative Franchises after their findings and recommendation which was contained in their 40 pages TWG report, recommends to deny new franchise for ABS-CBN. Consequently, 70 representatives vote "yes" to the denial of their franchise, while 11 representatives stand in favor of ABS-CBN franchise renewal; 2 inhibit, and 1 abstain.

and the wind sounds like the world’s sigh
persona 4 & 5 | shiho-centric, investigation team Near the end of May, Shiho transfers to a sleepy town called Inaba for a fresh start. However, Inaba isn’t the sleepy town her parents thought would be best for her— its on edge with unsolved mysteries, and Shiho finds that there’s a bit more behind what meets the eye regarding some of her classmates and a TV screen.
chapter 5 | 2.4k
But then she sees Chie and Yukiko and Yosuke and Souji turn to him, taking up the guy's space like it's nothing. Chie heartily slaps his shoulder and Yosuke grins something cheeky and probably says something stupid seeing the reaction it creates. They orbit around him, pulling him into their group until he can't leave. And-- he looks like he doesn't mind. It clicks: Tatsumi Kanji. Ah, she thinks, I really did have a conversation with a kid who was missing for weeks about his earrings. Huh.
From the moment she steps beyond the school gates, she know's something's up. It's in the air, thick and heavy. It's in the way there's more tight groups of people, whispering and murmuring, in the way it looks like everyone's on guard. Shiho can only blink curiously. She barely catches the tail ends of conversations as she switches shoes, but never hears enough to know what's up. It's really weird. For a school where she hears just about every spindly, prying rumor about anything, this... this thing is strangely a topic of reverence. Or maybe it's one not privy to an outsider's ears. She shoulders her bag, trying to clear her mind. It's whatever. She's never really cared about rumors prior to now, so why bother? Then again-- for a rumor to have this much of an impact? Something's either really wrong, or she's overthinking. In the end it's just weird. "Ah! Good morning, Suzui!" She looks up accordingly. Chie stands in front of her shoe locker, waving, with Yukiko by her side. Yukiko smiles politely instead of greeting, a flicker of confusion in her eyes like maybe she doesn't really know why Chie's talking to her, which is understandable. "Good morning," she says awkwardly. Honestly? She's right alongside Yukiko.  She fiddles with the strap of her bag, caught by social obligation not to flee immediately. "Uhm. You seem cheery this morning." And she is-- Chie's basically vibrating in her skin, brimming with energy. She flips open her shoe locker with more motion than necessary, looking up in thought. "I guess I am! Today just feels like a great day, y'know?" Shiho takes a long side-eye down the hall, where people are basically leering at each other, set on edge. "Sure." Chie pulls out her indoor shoes and a plethora of bandages from her locker in such a fluid motion Shiho doesn't initially realize just how many bandaids she pulled out. She glances at Chie's knees nearly instantly-- they're splotched in bruises and scrapes and cuts, some already covered in bandages, some not. Momentarily, she catches the grimace that briefly crosses Yukiko's face at the sight of all the bandages before she refocuses on changing shoes. "Did you-- did you fall or something? Some of those don't look too good," she finds herself saying, the words tumbling out of her mouth. She doesn't know much about karate or taekwando or whatever, but she didn't really think it was possible to get all cut up like that. Chie pauses momentarily. "For the most part, yeah!" Pressing down a bandaid, she motions absently with her free hand. "Most of the bruises were already there, though! This just looks worse than it actually is." It's crazy flippant for someone with shredded knees. Maybe if it were someone else, someone she were closer to, Shiho wouldn't accept that answer. But she doesn't really know Chie-- maybe she did actually take a tumble down some brick stairs, maybe not. The cuts don't look gritty enough to be something as skidding knees on pavement. "Okay," she says instead, "Just be careful, yeah?" The smile on Chie's face is nearly too sunny. "Yeah, no worries!" — Tatsumi Kanji is back. That's the whole fuss. It's a little hysterical. Someone is no longer missing, and everyone acts like Armageddon has dawned. She's got no clue if it's because he's a bad person or not, but-- Chie and Yukiko and Yosuke and Souji seem to like him, or at least think well of him. Surely he can't be that horrible. Even if he's back, she never sees him. She's-- She's not keeping an eye out for him, not really, but there would definitely be some mob behavior to indicate who he is. People would whisper and pass rumors as if he didn't have ears. People would swerve to get out of his way, leaving a open pathway, but only one made of contempt. Maybe he's just not here at all today. Maybe he's just taking the day to stay at home, where he surely would be with his family, making up for all the worry and stress. Or-- would his family even be like that...? Shiho bites the side of her thumb, pulling herself from that strain of thought. Not my business, she thinks, pushing double doors open to the breezeway. It's surprisingly empty out here even though it's lunch. She fiddles with the extra change in her hands, wandering towards where she remembers the vending machine to be. She really only saw it fleetingly-- didn't even check what was in it. She hopes it was worth coming out here for. The vending machine sits not far around the corner. It's sparingly stocked-- quite a sad sight. She shifts on her feet, looking over each can with a growing disinterest. She's never been one to drink soft drinks or coffee, not really-- being around Ann and her crazy diets that will be ruined if she even glances in the direction of a soft drink has made Shiho indifferent, but she had just enough extra change in her bag that what the hell, why not. Plus-- the loose change jangling in her bag was grating her nerves. She just absently slots the coins in, punching for a drink that's actually stocked. It whirs slowly, moving like molasses. She might get her drink before lunch ends. Around the corner, the double doors swing open with a slam, the noise echoing between the buildings. Shiho flinches and glances down the breezeway. Wonder what could've made them so angry to slam the door like that... she thinks. The student rounds the corner, strolling towards the vending machine with a gait that can really only be called a prowl. She nearly bites through her tongue. It's an honest-to-god punk. He's got the piercings, got the bleached hair, got the gakuran over his shoulders, the wide stance, the hands shoved into his pockets deeper than they actually are, the biting glare that makes people give a wide berth around him. Sure, there were delinquents at Shujin, but all they really amounted to were just Akira and Ryuji, and they're about as un-deliquent as it gets. This-- this is something else. This is the absolute pinnacle of the punk stereotype. He nearly seems to bristle, finally noticing that she's standing there. A scowl twists his mouth, nose scrunching up as his glare somehow still manages to get more intense. "What are you looking at?" he grunts, both slouching and straightening up to an intimidating height. The can clunks to the bottom of the vending machine. She doesn't move to get it. Ah, shit. She didn't realize she was staring. Shiho presses her lips together thinly-- how-- how can she get out of this without sounding like a total idiot? 'Oh, hey, I was just thinking about the delinquents at my old school, who were actually my friends and don't really deserve to be called delinquents, but high schoolers, yknow?' Yeah, right. Like that would fly over well. Would-- would he just start throwing punches anyways even if she gave him an answer that shouldn't be provoking? Shit, she really needs to be more aware of when she's staring-- "Uhm," she flounders. "Sorry, if it's, um, insensitive or something, but-- did those piercings hurt?" she blurts. Open mouth, enter foot. Absolutely incredible. The deepening of the crease between his eyebrows probably says she's a fucking idiot and will be going home with a snapped arm or something, so she continues to be stupid and keeps plowing on. "I mean, yeah, they probably did, sorry, that was a stupid question-- but, uhm, was it any worse than getting your lobes pierced?" There's a pause. It's almost achingly long and awkward, and Shiho nearly wants to just run away before it stretches on any longer. But, slowly, the punk's hand moves towards his ears, where he tugs on one of the earrings like he's trying to remember how painful it was. "They're... helix piercings," he says, his voice much less gruff than it was earlier. He speaks slowly, maybe trying to remember. "They go through cartilage, so they... hurt more, I think. They're definitely not the worst piercing, though. Just a little worse than getting your lobes pierced." "Ah, I see," she says. She presses her earlobe between her index finger and thumb, feeling for the holes. She's had her ears pierced for ages, but they're probably on the verge of completely closing up since she slacks on wearing earrings consistently enough for them to stay open. Knowing her luck, getting helixes would be a waste-- they'd close up on her since she's so crummy at keeping earrings in. "Where'd you get them pierced? Is there-- is there a parlor around here?" He scratches his cheek. "I did 'em myself." She blinks. "Wow. They look really good for doing them yourself," she says, tilting her head to see his ear better. They're nearly evenly spaced-- it's a hell of a lot better than whatever she could do. Her hand's not steady enough to even try. He makes a face. "I wouldn't recommend it. Hurt like hell, and one of them got crazy infected. Goin' to a pro would be better." "Gotcha." She stoops down, quickly retrieving the drink she's let sit longer than she should have. Stepping back, she pulls the tab and takes a sip of whatever weird off-brand soda she got. She scrunches her nose. "Sorry for keeping you," she says, trying to decide whether or not the drink is worth finishing or not. Raising a hand as goodbye, she smiles slightly, "Have a good day." He nods back, taking her place in front of the vending machine as she leaves. Taking another sip, she lets it sit in her mouth for a bit-- it's... a bland drink, to say the least. Like carbonated water with the slightest hint of fruit, almost too small to even be considered flavored. No wonder it was the only one fully stocked. She spits it out in a bush before she goes back inside. — After school ends, she sees the delinquent again. He's loitering just outside of the school building, glaring at everybody who so much as glances in his direction. Huh. He didn't seem like that bad of a guy-- er, he didn't threaten her, which really is all it takes to be a good guy in her book-- but he really is the pinnacle of the punk stereotype. Momentarily, she considers doing something-- saying a goodbye, have-a-nice-day, something like that, but who's she kidding? She doesn't have the guts to say anything, even after she had a weirdly stilted conversation about his earrings. Shiho places her indoor shoes into the locker, briefly wondering how weird it would look if she just smashed her head into the locker right now. She doesn't really get to come to an answer, though-- Chie comes sailing past her, followed by Yukiko, Yosuke, and Souji, chirping a peppy, "Hey, Suzui! See ya later!" and she's raising her hand in a belated 'see ya' like some kind of idiot. They all exit the building, wrapped up in the whirl wind of a conversation. They veer dangerously close to the delinquent, and after seeing how hostile he's come off to everyone within a three-meter radius, them approaching in at a one-meter distance makes her think he's going to start throwing hands, but-- But then she sees Chie and Yukiko and Yosuke and Souji turn to him, taking up the guy's space like it's nothing. Huh. — Shiho wakes up at midnight to the sound of white noise. At first, she's pretty sure it's just the rain-- it's a consistently down pour, but nothing storm-like. The tap-tap-taps against the glass are rhythmic, and she's almost lulled back to sleep until she realizes there's another white noise. It's static. It's... static? It's muffled, yet still distinctly loud. She lays and waits, listening. That's definitely static. Grumbling, she rolls to her side, checking the time-- 12:00 exactly, damn-- and laments rolling out of bed. Her dad must've fallen asleep watching TV or something. He's going to have a cow that he fell asleep and left the TV on-- the electrical bill is going to be astronomical. She sits up, sighs, and stands up. Her knee protests slightly at the sudden movement. She stumbles around her room, absently flicking on her phone's flashlight. The house is quiet, aside from the echo of the rain and the hum of static. The floorboards are cold when she steps on them, careful to not wake up her father as she walks into the living room. The TV's on, the screen completely filled with static. The noise is much louder now that she's out here. Frowning, she shuffles closer to the couch. Her father's not exactly a light sleeper, but surely he would've woken up by now. Except, when she peers over the back of the couch, there's no one there. She blinks. And blinks. Okay. That's... weird. The TV surely wouldn't've been left on, especially once her parents went to bed. They would've heard whatever was playing before the signal got scrambled by the rain, and they would've turned it off. Huh. She rounds about the couch, reaching for the remote. The static is nearly suffocating out here, blaring in her ears. She fumbles with the remote for a second, holding it up. Something appears in the static. Heart stuttering, Shiho halts. There's an image of something faded in the static. It's too hard to tell what it could even be-- a room, maybe?-- before the screen fully returns to static. The static roars, hums, and then fades until there's no noise and Shiho is cast into darkness.
She swallows thickly, the thrum of her pulse in her ears now the loudest thing in the room. She clicks the power button on the remote-- the TV screen flickers on to the food channel, the one her parents always watch. There's no remnants of static on the screen, no stuttering, no delay-- nothing. Even when the wind picks up outside, the signal doesn't falter.
Shiho clicks the TV off.

Hi there love your blog can i request the panthom girls qith a s/o that looks like a deliquent but is actually a sweetheart?
Hello Anon!! Thank you, I try my best to provide! Disregarding the fact that I’m struggling with procrastination™
Here, the Phantom girls with a delinquent-looking S/O, I hope you enjoy it!!
Ann
She’s probably the one who connects with the delinquent-looking S/O faster than anyone else; Her kind and understanding essence allowed her to see right through their rebellious appearance.
Not only that, but her friendship with Ryuji came in great aid during these times, even though the school labeled S/O as a delinquent, or they do look vulgar in public, she didn’t give in to the opinions of the others or even the opinion of her own mind.
She understands how someone’s image affect the way people look at them, and she understands that looks can be tricky; she was always misjudged for being a model and people seemed to have appreciated Ann due to her outward aspects, since she suffers from the same problem, in context, she wouldn’t want to treat the others based on how they look.
She’s probably the one who initiated the friendship, which by now has turned into a relationship.
S/O’s sweet-hearted personality didn’t shock Ann at all, in fact, she was quite proud of herself for not going with the people’s judgment.
When she takes S/O out to crepe dates, her signature line whenever they taste something overly sweet and comment on it is “It’s not as sweet as you are.”
She could actually be influenced by S/O’s overall image, requesting to model for a photo shoot that emphasizes on inner beauty rather than outer beauty, dressing all delinquent-like and copying S/O’s style.
And she does all of this for S/O.
Makoto
She’s probably the most skeptical of S/O, not because of their appearance or anything but they do hold a facade of toughness and impoliteness whenever they’re walking around the place.
After realizing she needs to learn more through life experiences, she’ll probably seek them out since they’ve already had plenty of interactions.
Makoto’s the brain and they’re the body, they’ll be choosing fun places to go to and Makoto will probably help them study.
She realized her mistake of quick judgment, and that was only the first thing to learn. There’s a lot more S/O has to teach her.
Makoto, in some way or shape or form, is somewhat of a delinquent in the metaverse. Especially when you consider the way her clothes look; And all of this reminds her of S/O. Sudden blushes.
She’ll start to lose her perfect honorable student image, be it due to S/O’s influence or because the students started rumors, either way, she’s happy that she’s breaking free of the chains that have been holding her down.
Sae will probably be a struggle in their relationship, it’s something both Makoto and S/O will keep discussing after meeting her for the first time, and is probably one of the reasons this relationship won’t blossom until later on.
Futaba
Futaba’s the most intimidated out of everyone else, her lack of social skills and her anxiety are stopping her from approaching normal people, let alone an obscenely looking person.
She was probably introduced to them by one of the phantom thieves members, either that or she actually approached them as a challenge on her bucket list, or more specifically, the list her mother made for her.
She will require lots of help from the others, and the very first few dates she’ll take one or more of the phantom with her; S/O doesn’t mind that since they understand how she’s feeling but they still have to struggle with a third-wheel.
Futaba’s immense gratitude is always apparent, she’s always thankful for how understanding and sweet S/O is, and in the back of her head, she knows they’re the right person for her. she couldn’t stand a day without them and their moral support.
S/O doesn’t know much about computers or technology in general, so Futaba takes care of that and usually keeps on rambling about different sites she hacked or invaded. Possibly dragging S/O into hacking with her.
She’ll probably make lots of references to video games character or Anime/manga characters that match S/O’s personality, either a misunderstood delinquent or someone who is intentionally making themselves look like a delinquent, but are actually a sweetheart. Which usually flusters S/O for some reason.
Haru
Haru didn’t mind S/O’s appearance at all, she barely had the time to notice their existence due to how busy her schedule was.
That is, until she bumped into them by accident while she was carrying some gardening supplies. The delinquent offered help and it shocked her for a bit; because she didn’t expect someone who looked naughty to offer help.
She did suspect it was because of her status, and her family name in general. But with time they kept helping her and they were surprisingly gentle with the flowers.
Gardening wasn’t S/O’s thing so they stopped after a while, but the interactions between them didn’t, and when Haru opened up to them about her whole situation; they felt impotent and powerless for not being able to continue this relationship without causing any problems for her.
Haru knew what she wanted, she’d prefer having an S/O who looked like a delinquent but were actually a sweetheart, rather than having a fancy looking S/O AKA Sugimura with a disgusting, down to the earth personality; which allowed her to speak up and it’s all thanks to S/O.
The complete opposition in their style of clothing is quite shocking, their amount of love to each other despite having different appearances and personalities is unmatchable.

(let me just ramble)
in the opening of persona 5, it featured the first five characters skating, and each of them have their moments. while the three other members were sharing the same shot. it maybe because they don’t want to dedicate every few seconds of each member. but then in persona 4, they had a fair share of characters’ exposure.
it could be seen as if the first five were the pillar group. and it’s because they have the most chemistry, and arguably, importance.
akira - [the transfer student. quite out of place] his urge to save others. from the false accusation, to being a phantom thief; his potential future seeming bleak. he was almost shunned thanks to his reputation at first. his premise is to remember what he’s supposed to do. his awakening was because he wanted to save ryuji. the leader.
morgana - [the tutorial] also in need of remembering what he’s supposed to do. the one who encouraged and guided them. the guide.
ryuji - [the “deliquent”; the schoolmate.] his urge to rebel and fight for what’s right. he earned a bad reputation. his potential future was taken away because of an abuser. his awakening was because he wanted to save akira and morgana. the instigator.
ann - [the “bitch”; the classmate] her urge to rebel and not put up with shit anymore. also had a bad reputation. she kept quiet because of abuse. her awakening was because of not wanting to be stepped on anymore. she always wanted to save shiho. she also wanted justice for ryuji (and akira). the empath.
yusuke - [the prodigy; quiet out of place because he’s from a different school] his urge to save others. he wanted justice for his fellow artists. not only he kept quiet, but he also averted his eyes. almost got his dreams cut off. was shunned thanks to his reputation. he was saved by the four. (played with/subverted) the straight-guy. (people tend to forget he’s the voice of reason, and always highlight his eccentricity.)
makoto played as combination of the straight-guy, and the guide. futaba played as the guide. haru played as the empath. (in which the first already had those roles.)
okay, the point is, the first five of them (except morgana) always prioritized saving others. they had conscious effort to save one another because of their own experiences of abuse. they were willing to help because they know each other enough.
meanwhile, the next three (and maybe also akechi) were introduced as if they invited themselves. makoto stalked and forced them to target a mafia boss; then comes her urge to fight for what is right. futaba blackmailed them so they could change her heart; then she helped them. haru wanted to do the mission herself (and morgana); then she joined them. akechi blackmailed them by joining forces so he could do his plan. the four of them (adding morgana) had such motives first, then they developed their sense of justice.
also, in their social links, the first five showed growth with akira and on their own. ryuji, ann, and yusuke didn’t need to intervene with other people’s lives to grow unlike the other three.
at first, makoto wanted to explore how to be a normal teenager. she then requested akira to pretend to be her boyfriend so she could help her friend.
futaba also had a similar case. at first, she wanted to be a normal teenager. she then involved herself to help her old friend.
haru (to he honest i wasn’t paying attention to her much in her social link) involved herself, of course, in her company. and also told akira about her woes regarding her engagement.
in comparison to the first five, the three had been requesting help (or imply that you should help) and get involved with people you barely know. while the first five had been asking advice for building their own confidence.
in ryuji’s social link, he would indirectly ask akira for advice regarding confidence based on what he’d do for his track team, and his potential. (so he could stray away from kamoshida’s shit as well)
in ann’s social link, she would ask akira for advice on building up confidence. she was also inspired by shiho’s courage.
in yusuke’s social link, he would ask akira for opinion so he could stray away from madarame’s shit. akira helped yusuke to be grounded while yusuke helped akira to be more open.
they didn’t really ask for targets. they figuratively asked for growth, in their own ways, without involving themselves to people (wherein in akira’s perspective, strangers; arguably, ryuji is on thin ice regarding this. we already know shiho thanks to the kamoshida arc. yusuke and akira didn’t really know kawanabe[?] so he’s a stranger to both of them.)
[i was actually a bit turned off by futaba’s social link because i saw some comments how she has one of the best social link. but then i got disappointed by how she had to request me to help her change the heart of whoever that i, the player, didn’t care about. same goes to makoto who had to be nosy; thus introducing us to a new character i don’t really want to care about. okumura’s arc is basically haru requesting pt to help. (and the urge to save her is because she might end up marrying someone she didn’t like.) anyway, my rant is these three (in terms of story, i guess) were pushing me to care about new characters i wouldn’t remotely care about. they kinda felt like the other non-party confidants.]
i’m not saying that they’re irrelevant. in fact, all of them very much affected the plot. i just wanted to point out how they should’ve grown without need to target people akira barely know, like the non-party confidants. them inviting themselves to the party were necessary.
that, and i just freaking love the chemistry of akira, ryuji, ann and yusuke. and how they respected each other. akira and ryuji being bros; akira and ann having that sense of empathy; akira and yusuke being dorks, and actually comfortable for being themselves; ryuji and ann being childhood buddies; ryuji and yusuke oddly complimenting each other; yusuke and ann also sharing that sense of empathy thanks to their experiences.
[i was peeved by how futaba could be insulting/insensitive to some (ex. yusuke, morgana.), how makoto acted (not a fan of bossy ones; there’re reasons why i dislike akechi with a passion.), how haru, just being there, like, she’s just there i guess? is it bad that i barely know her so i couldn’t really care? (it’s not about how she’s the last member introduced, it’s how her story impacted to me.)]
(i’m not discounting other friendships; i just find theirs more endearing.)
disclaimer: i like all of them for being a quality team. with regards to each friendship though, some can be a bit hmmmmmmmm.

StrangerJuice- Patterns of Juvenile Deliquency (2017)
