at this point when I read free palestine or see a watermelon emoji in someone's bio I go "are you free palestine as in innocent gazan civilians don't deserve to be massacred and peace is the solution to the conflict or are you free palestine as in hamas are freedom fighters and the solution is getting rid of the isnotrealis". I wish I had the power to instantly know which one it is so I know whether I'm looking at a person who wants me dead or not.

i am sick and tired of everything
i am sick and tired of “i don’t have anything against jews” and then getting glared at for my magen david
i am sick and tired of scratching out passages in my required books for classes because of the judenhass in them.
i am sick and tired of people taking the shoah and using it for their own personal gain. i really don’t care about any goyishe thoughts/opinions on the shoah.
i am sick and tired of history being twisted because christian people don’t want to admit that they’ve done horrible things to the jewish people.
i am sick and tired of being asked “are you a jew?” in the most roundabout ways, as if it’s insulting to even think.
i am sick and tired of antisemitism being disguised as antizionism.
i am sick and tired of my people being equated to nazi’s, the literal fascists who committed countless atrocities against us.
i am sick and tired of having to explain to goyim why i continue to be a religious jew.
i am sick and tired of our fears as jews being downplayed and mocked when literal nazi’s still exist and threaten our safety every single day.
i am sick and tired of our existence as people being argued like it’s just some political opinion.
i am sick and tired of the ignorance of goyim.

I’m low on hope today. If you’re a goyim (ie non-Jewish) leftist of any religion or lack thereof, and you stand up to antisemitism, interact with this. I literally don’t believe anyone actually cares about us at all.
Jews DNI.
I genuinely want to see if any goyim who are loudly decrying all other forms of hatred are willing to be the ones to spread this message.
And this isn’t a “if you have a heart, you’ll reblog this” point scoring thing I’m trying to get. I am actually truly feeling like most people don’t have the balls to share this. Most people hate Jews this much.

/// goyim can reblog/like, but don't add anything. this is a vent post, might delete later. I'm gonna mute notifs on this post. other jewish people, if you have something to add: feel free, but I probs won't see it. I trust that people won't get into fights in the replies/reblogs
I'm really not liking this current trend of goyim feeling like they get the right to use our pain and trauma. From Holocaust inversion, to doubting statistics on the increase of antisemitism, to doubting us when we say that something is antisemitic ... what gave you the right? We're never believed when something bad happens to us. It's always the exact same people who are ostensibly against antisemitism who end up perpetuating dogwhistles and antisemitic attitudes.

Jewish culture is realising that goyim can't be trusted to care about our lives, even if they say happy hanukkah once a year and claim to punch nazis because most of them would have handed us to the nazis anyways and actually believe that our death and tourture is justified.

One of my best friends got married at the weekend and his closing words of his speech were “Free Palestine”, and I’ve been thinking about that a lot. Even on his wedding day, one of the happiest days of his life, a day that should be all about him and his bride, that isn’t the only thing on his mind. It can’t be. We’re all thinking about Palestine and the genocide of its people all the time.
All day I’m checking in on the journalists I follow in Gaza, my stomach in a knot until I see they’ve posted again today and they’re at least still alive, but then my heart broken to see what cruel injustice they’re showing us today. All of us with any scrap of humanity are behind Palestine, and passionately, even if the people meant to represent us are reticent or even adamantly refusing to actually represent our wishes. My friends and I are Irish, so we’ve grown up surrounded by pro-Palestine support: it’s huge here and always has been and our government is one of the ~better~ ones in this regard, but this isn’t unique to countries who are politically pro-Palestine. World-wide, I see rallies, protests, demonstrations, from huge crowds of regular people, even in countries whose policies and governments are deeply on the wrong side of history. Those regular people are what I think we should pay attention to.
Don’t lose heart. Don’t give up on Palestinians. Keep following them, keep listening to them, keep supporting them. Keep up the rallies, keep fighting, keep talking. It can be discouraging to see so few governments doing anything about this and news stories misrepresenting the facts, but don’t fall into thinking that nobody cares or give up. I believe people care. Regular people care. It may not be everyone, and it may not be the majority of the people in power, but I believe there are enough of us to help; we can pressure the people in power to listen if we’re loud enough and determined enough, and every single person saved from these atrocities would be worth the world. This is a dire situation. This is urgent. But it’s not over.
There is evil being done in the world but there is decency in humanity and hope is not lost. From the river to the sea, Palestine MUST be free.

every western politician who says “we cannot trust the victim count coming from Gaza bc Hamas” as if squabbling over figures somehow justifies the enormity of the human catastrophe they're turning a blind eye to — they're just plain evil

the fact that merely speaking out against antisemitism is enough to get you mass-blocked by popular tumblr blogs for “zionism” really goes to show how much goyim (mainly white goyim) hate Jews. Y’all really think that any Jew standing up for themselves or our people against antisemitism is a heinous crime. yes this is about That blog that has been blocking every Jew they come across for months. @ That Blog I hope someday you will educate yourself instead of spreading blood libel and hatred and I hope you find a way to break free from the bigotry and in your heart instead of blocking random teenage Jews on tumblr because you’re mad that we aren’t personally calling up benjamin netanyahu to yell at him

I recently saw a post about antisemitism that recommended people read Why the Jews? to learn more about antisemitism. I haven't read the book, so I can't objectively judge its quality, but I do want to note that it's written by Dennis Prager, noted shande who deliberately and regularly misrepresents Judaism for the sake of pandering to Evangelicals.
I don't know to what extent that impacts the book's usefulness as a resource, but if anyone has resources on antisemitism that weren't written by absolute schmucks, that'd be helpful, I think my favourite is April Rosenblum's pamphlet The Past Didn't Go Anywhere.

I wrote a very salty monologue about antisemitism and the idea of a ‘good Jew’ if you want to read it it’s under the cut. Bigots dni
I’m a Good Jew
I’m a good Jew. I’m broke, so I can’t control the banks. I’m so broke that I can’t put a menorah in my window because I can’t afford to fix the window.
Im a good Jew. I tell kids to ask Santa for gifts. I don’t have any decorations on my house, and I take out the Hanukkah bush when non-Jewish guests come over.
I’m a good Jew. I go to my brother in law’s Christmas party where every year without fail his mother brings a casserole that she swears doesn’t have bacon in it. It always does.
I’m a good Jew, yet people still laugh at my nose. They tell me I shouldn’t speak Yiddish because I sound like a bad Jew. They make me explain my stance on conflicts I wasn’t even alive to witness the beginning of.
I’m tired of being a good Jew, because it means nothing. There’s still a swastika on the wall of my synagogue. There’s still death threats in my DM’s. You praise me for looking, sounding, and acting like a “good Jew”, but it’s obvious you still think the only good Jew is a dead Jew.

A reminder that this blog (Same with my other blogs) is Pro-Palestine and pro-Land Back.
If I end up posting anything onto here, it will be about how Legacies is pro-Palestine. I do not support Zionism, genocide, racism, and Islamophobia, I also do not support anti-Semitism. Another reminder is that there are Christians and Jews in Palestine, these people are also getting killed by Israel's genocidal campaign. Palestine isn't strictly Muslim and is even home to some of the oldest buildings (Churches, libraries, mosques, etc), those buildings are getting destroyed by the bombings.
From Turtle Island to Palestine. 🌎🇵🇸
From all corners of the globe to Palestine. 🌎🌍🌏🇵🇸
It's free Palestine until Palestine is free. 🇵🇸🍉
It's land back until land is given back. 🌎🌍🌏

dear taylor swift,
you were part a core part of my being for almost seven years. your songs gave me life and made me feel seen in different ways as i got older. today though, with a heavy heart and a smile on my lips i'm making you my past. you chose racism and body-shaming, and how could you? how could you do it knowing fans from the very communities he hates love you and your music so much? there are no excuses for dating him. you just do whatever you want don't you? i ventured out today finding alternatives for every emotion i depended on you for and im finally ready to be done with the drama. idk that I'll ever be back, but I'll miss being a swiftie for what it's worth. I'll miss the community, the late nights waiting for music, hunting through your posts for hints about your next album, and so much more, but it means nothing in front of standing with the countless jews and black people out there.
