Reminder that if your feminism doesn't include Jewish women, doesn't accout for the sexual assult and rape of Jewish women, and doesn't believe/choses to deny the pains of Jewish women because it doesn't "fit" your political views, it isn't feminism, it's anti-semitism

Leftist or Neo-Nazi?
This is a blog where I post something that was actually said to the Jewish people of tumblr, and you get to vote on if it was said by a progressive Leftist or a Neo-Nazi!
I decided to make this blog to show the antisemitism of the left, especially here on tumblr. If this offends leftists on tumblr... good. You should look into and question your antisemitic beliefs and you should take steps to support, uplift, and listen to Jewish voices. If you can't do that, then you're antisemitic, and you should probably leave.
Yom tov culam <3
Edit: Here are some stats on the rise of antisemitism in the UK, US and general antisemitism pre-2023

Christian’s trying to push their faith on others is so crazy when compared to other religions.
like what if I told people they had to censor g-d because you can’t write their name on anything not permanent!?!??!!??

Hey God does love you, actually.
I typically don't waste time making posts like this because the internet isn't a serious place, but whatever. I think this might help someone because I wish I had been able to find something like this.
Since I've returned to Tumblr it makes me really sad to see all these people who have been religiously traumatized, ostracized by their family members and friends, and living absolutely miserable like they've committed some horrible unforgivable sin just because they're gay, bi, or transgender.
I am a Christian and I am gay. I've always been both of those things and I always will be both of those things. I'm not sorry about it and I don't give a flying phoque if you think I'm a "fake Christian".
I grew up in religious schools and churches and I never knew anything else.
I spent the last fifteen years absolutely miserable (and closeted) because of some bitter, hateful, curmudgeonly assholes who never emotionally matured beyond the eighth grade decided to deify themselves. I spent most of my early teenage years mad at God when I should've been mad at the congregation instead.
If you're damning children, you're not a good person, obviously.
I've always prayed every night and had a good relationship with God even when I was angry. Finally, I tried to commit suicide this past spring because one of my childhood friends tried to rape me into being straight.
Yeah, well that's not how that works.
I'm fine and safe now and he's long and permanently gone and as far as I'm concerned doesn't exist anymore; because to me he doesn't.
If you're struggling like I was, God loves you. I've prayed about it for months and the amount of internal and spiritual peace I've felt is wonderful. The best way I can describe it is going for a long hike and taking your super heavy backpack off when you get back to the car.
There is nothing wrong with you and you're not a monster, I promise.
It won't all be smooth sailing obviously but it does get better. Family members and friends will come around eventually and if they don't, well that's their loss- you don't need them and they'll have to answer for their behavior one day and live with their choice until then.
Religion has always been like a glass of water to me. Some people like it a lot, while others would rather have soda or tea.
Let them have their soda or tea and don't try to waterboard them, dude. Love them like God would, like Jesus would. Jesus accepted, love and forgave everyone as long as they were sincere.
Look into his disciples Paul and Mary Magdalene if you want an example of that.
Don't let some self-righteous idiot convince you that you're damned because they're cherry-picking from a book they've probably never even actually read.
They're the one who is a fake Christian, not you and they've probably done far worse than kiss someone of the same sex.
God bless you and I hope you had a happy Hanukkah, have a merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.
Love and wishing you luck,
Pidge

Do you have any cool Ben headcanons? 💕 maybe for Hannukah since that's ongoing! (Happy Hannukah btw I hope you're having a great one!)
First of all, thank you lovely!
Okay so i have given it some thoughts and here are some Ben Gross Hunnukka headcanons for you and the rest of the internet to love, hate and disscuss about.
• Although it doesn't seems lile Ben is a religious Jew by any means, and despite the neglaction from his parents, if the three of them are at home during the holidays time they will light up the menorha together. It only happend 4 times in Ben's life, the rest of it so far his parents went on vacation.
• Every year Ben's parents buy the most fancy Sufganiot that they can find in the best bakery in entire California. Despite that, Ben and Patty lerned how to make Sufganiot together when Ben was 9 and ever since than that's one of the few things he really likes to cook and eat. Same goes to Lattkes.
• Ben always got sad thinking about Hanukka at the start of it because Hannukkka is alsi about family. So it's just another holiday where he feels extreme lonelinesd.
• Back when Shira and him used to date Ben loved going to Shira's because her whole family was celebreting and despite being annoyed by her from time to time and hate singing after lighting the menorha he loved the feeling of celebrating it together
• Howard got him a golden driddle when he was a child.
I hope that you liked these! 😄

I've been into RENT recently and wondered why Mark Cohen was constantly filming queer people / people who were current and former drug users / homeless people / HIV+ people / people who are multiple catagories when he is none of these things in the text. He is literally called out for having "no community."
And then I realized all these people he is filming are being killed by either apathy or purposeful neglect. Mark says in the same argument where Roger tells him he has no community that he'll be the only one to survive.
Mark is Jewish. Even though he isn't observent, he's mentioned to be Jewish multiple times.
A Jewish person would absoutely understand why it's important to record all of this so when in future people attempt to sweep all this under the rug Mark can pull out reels and reels of film and say "I'm going to humanize all these dry statistics, show you it really was that bad, and you're all going to remember that most people did fucking nothing about it."
It also, unintentionally, records the gentrafication of Alphabet City which was already going on at the time of the musical ( though the movie version is set in the very, very early stages as the time period is nailed down to 1989/1990 ) and the pain that caused people by either having to move from their community or become homeless themselves.

Lorenzo is still in front so that consistency is comforting at least. now my only question is do I have to keep up with his traditions? bc Ik jewish people fast and do things on certain holidays.

Jewish culture is realising that goyim can't be trusted to care about our lives, even if they say happy hanukkah once a year and claim to punch nazis because most of them would have handed us to the nazis anyways and actually believe that our death and tourture is justified.

So how is freedom of religion and seperation of State and Church going to come into play in the overturning of Roe v Wade?
If your religion allows abortion, then you should still be legally allowed, even if its against the state (even federal?) law right? Isn’t that how it is for marital polygyny?

Thought about the US abortion ruling:
obviously, hasn't happened quite yet, but when it does something that needs to be thought about is that this will be a very Christian ruling (obviously, its more complex than that, but it’s safe to say that laws will be decided by religion). And if we are now saying that laws are to be decided by religion, than it is only fair to say that only christians must follow them. Ergo, this is my proposal for the new law, based, of course, on religion, since that is what the US likes so much, it seems (for the sake of brevity, I have not included every religion, just the largest ones).
Christians: no abortions. This isn’t actually true to the bible, but American Christians like pretending it is, so whatever.
atheists/ other no god guys: as many abortions as you want. Go wild.
Muslims: any time within the first 120 days. You can’t really do this exactly, so roughly the first 120 days.
Jewish people: Any time. Have kids, but the foetus is not a person within Judism.
There. New laws, properly based on religion. (Am I aware I have simplified things a bit? Yes, but I don’t care that much. Fuck the US government.)

Now. there isn't a lot that I like about canada and its legacy of colonialism, but occasionally funny shit does happen here, so im starting a tag for it (#everyday canadian bullshit)
Here are some examples:
there's famed TV host Andrew Younghusband (yes that's his real last name) who hosted a show teaching canada's worst drivers how to drive. the person crowned worst driver would just. be handed their keys back and told good luck
there was the politician who pissed in a coffee mug live on a zoom call, and in a separate incident appeared nude on another zoom call
of course, everyone knows about Rob Ford (the so-called crack smoking mayor of toronto), but did you know that after being accused of talking about wanting to perform oral on a staffer, he told the press he would never say he wanted to "eat her pussy" because he had "more than enough to eat at home"? cause he said that
or when Doug Ford was accused of antisemitism so he said his wife is Jewish, and she was forced to hold a press conference saying she doesn't practice "Judism" (not Judaism, Judism)
