Hear me out hear me out-
@onestepbackwards (my sweet darling beloved) and I talked about this a long while ago, but forgot to say anything. And I’m hyper fixating again. (There is also another loz au we were gushing about, but that’s for the next ask-)
Twilight princess au, with submas taking the place of Midna.
(Sfw for rn. But speaks of injuries.)
-
-
The two cursed and banished princes, finding you in wolf form chained and jailed.
Emmet is the one who sasses you, the Twili prince only focusing on getting his and his brother’s true forms back.
Ingo is firm and distance, they need your help, so he isn’t as sassy as Emmet, but he is strict and having a full schedule and plan on what you need to help them do.
Ingo doesn’t want to form a friendship, only a partnership (at first-)
Emmet doesn’t much care, his distaste for those in the light is much more evident.
Emmet is the one who shifts into your friends, whom at the time you thought were dead. And was surprised at how viciously you snapped at him, body jolting like you were holding yourself back.
Ingo just sighs and calls Emmet rude, as that was unnecessary. Though the two won’t say it, seeing you get so angry, especially at them was unnerving.
They quickly become your companions.
While they do most of the talking, mainly Ingo, their banter is always funny, until they drag you into it and asking you who’s right.
“Growl once for me, and twice for me!”
“Emmet that’s not how this works!”
Once you got your human form back, they slowly started warming up to you, talking to you more as this time you could actually respond.
Like in twilight princess, only you can see them when in your human form. They stay hidden in your shadow, helping you along the way.
Emmet shadow hops to learn more information, and the town gossip.
Reporting back with whatever he can find.
They slowly want up you, while being wary of everyone else, aside from the princess.
Until Zant attacks, which you and Zelda take great care to ensure their safety.
Emmet does a complete 180. He becomes so affectionate and clingy to you, always tugging at your tunic and staying close to you.
Ingo becomes much softer, thanking you over and over, then at random times for your kindness. He talks to you, specifically you, a lot more and a lot longer, both of you having full conversations about the dungeon or people.
Or even just about what you like to do, or his world.
Emmet sulks when Ingo has most of your attention.
The closer you three get to completing the mirror of twilight, the more they hesitate, the more they start trying to delay it.
They want to save their people and the twilight realm, but they will also miss you.
It’s then the two Twili realize they have fallen so deeply for you, your strength, your kindness, your selflessness, everything about you is perfect to them.
You slowly become aware of how protective the two have gotten, Emmet tears up while Ingo weeps anytime you get hurt.
They give you your healing potions or fairies during battles, or if you’re hurt, panicking and fretting over you.
They don’t confess to you, they never planned on it, thoroughly believing they would take it as a secret to their graves.
Until the final fight with Zant.
He wasn’t strong, but what he lacked in strength he made up for in speed at the end, keeping you on your toes.
You ended up with many cuts around your arms and back, from his spinning attacks.
All you did was simply kneel, panting, trying to catch your breath before getting to your potion.
Only for the two to pop out from the shadows, crying loudly. The two hold you so tenderly, shushing you quietly as you groan.
Your body shaking, only making them cry harder as they try to give you a potion. But they are just as shaky as you, nearly dropping it.
The spike in their anxiety had them blurting it out.
“We love you, please don’t die!”
“W-we can’t- we need you! Please!”
Emmet managed to get the bottle to your lips, which you greedily gulp down its contents. While the princes cry into your chest, holding you tightly as if you’d vanish.
But oh are they embarrassed afterwards.
More so when you laugh as hell then you feel the same.

ok so @m3wllo asked me about my ocs. trust me guys im not going insane tumblr cant recover deleted drafts anyways. heres the gist of what was in that before before i in the true fashion of fate deleted it:
i was originally going to make an artwork for them but i realized it was just easier to tell you about them. also i dont know how to tell yuo this but whatever ocs i couldve conceived of in the past. weeks or years are all just vague concepts in my head not fully fleshed out. abyways
so first im thinking of a mysterious shopkeeper who has pretty rare and valuable items, im talking fairies, dragon parts, the most potent ingredients for elixrs and/or food, and with totk maybe even bombs or arrows. i dont want to have them sell elixrs outright because id want that for Another shopkeeper oc who sells (you guessed it) elixrs and food. that shopkeeper would also have a feature where they make custom food based on they players/links inputs/suggestions (like the custom tunes in ACNH). as far as im aware loz doesnt have many nonhylian shopkeepers, so to break stereotyping/tropes i think this shopkeeper would be a goron. in my concept sketches i rushed of them i thought about giving them a mask like in past entries! no idea what it would do besides add to the mystery, or what mask it would be of (in the art i made it an unnamed zonai mask) but i would still like to have masks with Actual Abilities in botw, even if its a pipe dream.
so yknow how botw has champions. what if. monster champion. botw or totk doesnt have friendly monsters like in past entries (well. they have Masks for it but it doesnt let you do anything besides have them not attack you. ycant even talk to them, which is what i mean here. they cant give you items or nothing) which is a shame because it wouldve been really cool to have!! so hypothetically, what if i were to retcon that and just add friendly monsters. secret monster village near skull lake or the breach of demise. while it would be funny for the champion to be a keese or something i personally think theyd be a lynel. with totk out they could also be a gleeok or one of the boss monsters (COLDGERA CHAMPION……. COULD YOU IMAGINE). this may or may not have come from an unnamed botw au i have but shh. also speaking of which what if lynels were fused with other animals. like yknow how theyre centaurs with horse(?????) genes? what if they had goat genes, or deer genes, or any genes of an animal within That Realm of Animal? giraffe genes. CAMEL GENES FOR THE GERUDO DESERT. this also came from that au
friendly yiga ocs. i would like friendly yiga ocs. by friendly i still meant they commit violent crimes its just not murder this time (i mean. if you hc hard enough you could argue that the yiga wouldnt actually murder you, but thats besides the point and also probably not canon. but who cares about canon.) they can either be all the way from 10000 yrs back or they can be in the current age! this is partly inspired by the pirates in castle in the sky. also i would also like to have yiga ocs of different races. like we know anyone can really join as we see a hylian asking to join, and link joins and is able to learn an earthquake technique, so its not just a sheikah thing. so if anyone can join then why dont we see other races in yiga outfits like zora or rito or gorons? are they just disguising themselves to look uniform?? i dont think thats how it works but im not going to ask! but yeah zora rito and goron yiga. the gerudo May be able to get into the yiga but its hard to tell. i feel like these yiga would be on friendly terms with both the yiga and the sheikah, kind of like an buffer(?) state between two states that are at war. neutral party. also theyd be really good with sheikah tech considering 10000 yrs ago they probably worked on it while they were banished. they could help link with a weakness in the divine beasts or smth, maybe link can help them with something i dont know i havent fleshed this out yet
this has totk spoilers so i’ll strike it. so zelda in totk turns herself into a dragon. now i have opinions on this, but thats not what youre here for youre here for ocs. so three dragons exist in totk and botw: farosh, dinraal, and naydra. its debatable whether they were people at first who swallowed their secret stones or if they were created by the goddess or something (in botw it might state they were created by the goddess but im not sure!), but for this im saying they were people at first who swallowed their secret stones. im basing their races off their flight paths in botw (in totk its changed so they go into chasms, but im assuming if there was no chasms this wouldnt be their normal route yknow? for some reason it shifted no idea why. also wow is that a sentence to say). dinraal flies from akkala, to behind death mountain, into the tanagar canyon. so by the logic im employing the could be a hylian, a goron, maybe a korok?, or a rito. personally im going with a rito as i find that the most interesting considering they live in a snowy area, plus revali literally got dinraals horn as part of his trials of becoming the pilot for vah medoh (which is never mentioned in game besides when we do the trials. pain). naydra flies above the lanayru bay between zoras domain and kakariko village, as well as over the lanayru promenade, kinda like a long oval over the mountain and between the two villages. in totk it flies way closer to hateno village which is really cool symbolism for the inhabitants of that village if you ignore why they fly so close to their to begin with. anyways naydra could be a zora, a sheikah, or a hylian from hateno. honestly in my concept sketches i went for a zora but i like the idea of a hylian from hateno scaling mount lanayru in the moth unorthodox way possible. i think theyd have a bunch of colored cloths but thats off topic anyways onto farosh. farosh is the most varied, flying around lake hylia, the faron region, and surprisingly around the gerudo highlands. so farosh could be a gerudo, a hylian, or if this was Before totk i would say a zonai but. honestly im not entirely convinced the zonai/the people in faron arent the same people like. their architecture has Similarities but im really not convinced its the same architecture at All like. the ruins have more animalistic features and curves while the zonai architecture is more squareish/geometrical and theres only really Dragons present, no boars or owls. plus the lamps are different, the ruins have like standard lighting thats kinda square while the zonai have lights shaped like lotuses. it could be the ruins are just an earlier period for the zonai but like in lore they were close to Gods and descended from the heavens, with rauru and mineru being the last left on the surface. they werent originally from the surface so it couldnt have been an earlier period. and why wouldnt that architecture style stay if it Were the zonai? rauru was the king of hyrule, if the style originated from the surface then the king shouldve used it as thats where he was butbhe didnt! he wasnt even Close to faron, and the memories show the style of architecture on the islands being used for the kingdom so whats up with that? plus why wouldnt their architecture style carry over on the islands??? if it was an earlier period for the zonai that didnt originate from the surface itd be on the sky islands, and yet it isnt????? the sky islands are parts of the old hyrule, not built by the zonai who left the surface. so who built the ruins???? its possible that it was just an early concept for the zonai but nintendo scrapped it in favor for what we got, and yeah thats probably it, but im not taking that for an answer. the ruin-makers (or scrapped zonai) were either hylians (lurien village theorized to be descendants from the zonai as they can read the glyphs on the palamore ruins in botw + they have the zonai swirl mark on the houses, as well as the barbarian armour) or, if you wanted to make a theory on crack, you could say they were lynels and lynels and the current zonai-
-are related somehow (sorry the dash is because tumblr limited the words in the paragraph). this is because the barbarian armour looks a hell of a lot like a lynel’s gear, and its upgraded with lynel parts. so hypothetically. when i said i could make friendly monsters #real, this could hypothetically make lynels a viable option as a race, and as such farosh could be a lynel. so anyways :3 also in my architecture rant i forgor to mention that current day zonai architecture isnt painted or if it is barely and not with the colors past/scraped zonai use
also this is for mainly pre-cal, but zonai researchers!!!! botw only really shows zeldas fascination in the sheikah artifacts as a way to still help hyrule without her powers, but i kinda wish we got to see her geek out about other old ruins? like she goes to the ancient columns but only focuses on the shrine there, not the columns or what they mean (though. to be fair in not excited about My ancient history either. i am about other peoples ancient history though). and in totk we see her geek out about the zonai ruins, which is really great for her character!!! and considering it was a popular theory that the sheikah and the zonai worked together before totk came out i feel like either she or Someone else would be interested in it!! if zelda isnt then i would want link to be involved Somehow, as it was theorized that the sheikah represent wisdom the most and the zonai represented courage the most, and well zelda is the bearer of wisdom and studied sheikah tech, so link could theoretically be involved with the zonai somehow. (also i just want to do something with link mainly because i have the most fun playing with him like a kid plays with barbie dolls. but also i feel like zelda should have more character traits too yknow. who knows this could be a bonding experience for them). but yeah zonai researchers, distinct from sheikah researchers theyre close to losing their minds with what few data/info they have On the zonai (at least in botw). if they found a construct theyd lose their mind. theyd argue with sheikah researchers on why researching the zonai is important especially for the sheikah considering they Couldve worked together (before totk).
speaking of researchers, somebody (also pre-cal but can be after pre-cal) who studies malice, gloom, and/or monsters!! in botw they dont really know the enemy, which is kinda easy not to as calamity ganon is like a natural disaster. but i feel like they couldve tried yknow? monster extract already existed pre-cal (the recipe for monster cake in the castle), so either malice already existed then too Or somebody somehow discovered it through monsters. i feel like these researchers exist for the sole purpose to know more about ganon and why monsters specifically can get under the influence of malice (especially because in prior entires the zora were enemies too, though i dont know if its because they were under ganons influence or not, but if the zora Were under the influence at some point and got out of it during botw, itd be a good topic to research on who is and isnt vulnerable to malice)
id like ghost ocs too!! in totk we get poes but we dont have a physical form of them, and in the botw artbook we have concept art for a ghost!! plus like yknow the ruins of towns everywhere? imagine ghosts in all of them. imagine the destroyed decorations of the towns strayed about. imagine meeting aryll or links dad as a ghost. or on the brighter side imagine involved questlines with these ghosts, making recipes that were forgotten by time or retrieving something lost. GHOST ANIMALS NEAR SATORI. though i dont want to have too many ghosts tbh as, after playing totk, i have decided that i like botws emptiness compared to totk. im not joking here i swear not insane. when i say emptiness i literally mean having no side quests nothing to do just empty space. i like that about botw. i swear im fine.so anyways yeah. honestly ive been thinking more in world building terms for all of this
i dont know how to end this. welcum to my sick twisted mind

I see nice tags from @blackquills-wife, I want to keep writing ideas. So have a bunch of headcanons/fun facts about my SI-OCs for LoZ!!! Cause I’m thinking a LOT about this series rn. Obviously.
The very first incarnation of Ethel in the timeline- during the wars of Demise and Hylia- was a sickly young woman. Separated from humanity when Skyloft was formed (she didn’t get on the land in time to ascend with the rest of them), that is what made her within reach for Orona to obtain her soul.
This implies that she died just as young as the First Hero.
Originally, Ethel was supposed to be the “failed” heroine for Orona, where Aquaria was supposed to succeed. Over the years, they’ve both grown to have their darker moments and their brighter, happier moments.
Ethel is the name for most of the incarnations of Orona’s heroine. However, there’s also Evadne (Majora’s Mask and A Link Between Worlds), Aquaria (toon series), and Saorise (Link to the Past + The Legend of Zelda & Adventure of Link).
Ethel (and her incarnations) typically are paired with one: Link. However, this romance is typically unrequited...
Aquaria- when in a Four Swords deal- typically falls for Purple/Violet Link, addressing her connections to Orona. The only time this changes is in Tri-Force Heroes, where she ends up dating Blue. (Due to her name connection and the fact Vio isn’t canon to the game...for some reason...)
She’s also had a crush on Vaati. Again, with the purples.
In Skyward Sword, Ethel moves on from her crush on Link thanks to Groose, who also had moved on from his feelings for Zelda during the course of the story. They end up married and with kids...who would one day become the Gerudo race.
(Fi is just a major AU bc I think that sword spirit is really dang cute.)
There’s also Princess Ruto of the Zora from OoT... In one timeline, that sure happened.
Ganondorf is a minor crush throughout the main storyline, but Ethel’s incarnation in Hyrule Warriors has it for the King quite badly. (As well as a small crush on the hero, as usual.)
BotW sees Ethel fall for Link and Sidon...because really, who wouldn’t? (As well as a Gerudo OC I’m still trying to make, whoops.)
It’s said that- some 10,000 years ago- she also was deeply in love with a certain king from the desert..... Hmm! (BotW 2, help me.)
Over the years, various weapons and steeds have been bequeathed to these cursed heroines. Here are some notable ones:
Arion: A black and white pinto stallion from Ocarina of Time and BotW. A horse with attitude, he’s known to be rather troublesome and sassy, but does his best to make room for that and assisting his rider, Ethel.
Ghost Reaver: Ethel’s destined sword (the Master Sword to her Link) and originally introduced in Skyward Sword, with a sword spirit by the name of Castalia. Though now dormant for centuries- much like Fi- her being still echoes through the blade with a comforting, assuring warmth... Legends like to say the Ghost Reaver can cut down any foe- alive or dead- with ease. Thus, the blade’s name.
Raim: Aquaria’s bird companion in Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. Large enough to ride, Aquaria can ride him instead of using a boat, which makes her seasick. He isn’t one for strangers, but adores Aquaria and is very protective of her.
Shadow Bow: Detailed in Hyrule Warriors, this bow allows Aquaria to shot arrows coated in black-purple malice at her enemies. The bow glows in the same energy. Tales say this bow and it’s supply of arrows feed off of anger and darkness to power it...
Celestial Cleaver: Named in HW, this is Evadne’s secondary weapon. It’s a blade that shines like an opal, with a decorated hit and guard. There seems to be a language on the blade, but none but Evadne, Fierce Deity, and the Giants can read it.
Trident of the Giants: A rare, four-pronged trident built in reverence to the Giants of Termina, wielded by Evadne, named in HW. This is her primary weapon. It’s a rust-red color (matching the giant’s skin color) except for the tips, which fade into a light green color.
Unnamed Loftwing: Ethel’s Loftwing in Skyward Sword. Though given no name (or perhaps, one that is lost to history), they made themselves remembered through time with his coloration: black with purple sheen in the light. Tailed, with red eyes, too; worried as a bad omen, but was simply Ethel’s temperamental partner. Over time, that became that. A calm creature, nurturing and sweet... Though nervous around strangers.
Honestly, pretty close to Impa, through the timelines. Sort of like a distant relative, where they’re awkward around each other, but do care, when it comes down to it. Impa is an inspiration for Ethel, and she has a motherly sort of view on Ethel, wishing her the best for the journey ahead.
Ethel once had a crush on Sheik. Never lived it down when the truth was revealed... (Though was one of her own incarnations earliest realizations of, “Oh, I am...not straight, actually.” Especially considering- in one timeline- she’d later fall for Princess Ruto.)
In Twilight Princess, Ethel takes on the form of a panther in the twilight. (It’s because I’m cat obsessed. We know this.) Alina is her companion of the twilight. (A Twili banished from her homeland many years ago. She’s survived by staying out of the sun, hiding in caves and tunnels.)
In OoT, Ethel has a fairy named Thera. Like how Navi is short for “Navigation”, Thera is short for “Therapist.” Because damn she be needing one...
Modern AU Ethel is a Mess. Orona gives her no peace.
Speaking of the Fourth, Exiled Goddess-!! She had a lover, once. Not Demise, but a being named Ryleh. Her powers influenced his creation- much in a similar way of Demise and the other three with Hylia- and the two ended up falling in love.
Orona- in my view- is a representative of Darkness and Shadow. And though there is some evil tied in there, it is not ALL of who she is. A misunderstanding that’s only gotten worse over the years, to the point where her existence has been denied in later years. (For an idea of this, by OoT, it’s but a little known myth. By the first of each three timelines post-OoT, it’s essentially gone from all records.)
Orona is sweet, just misled. Thinking she’s doing good when she is creating chaos and cruelty. Instead of being corrected, she was shunned and banished for her wrongdoing.
...Despite this, she took the soul of who would eventually become Ethel and waited. Because it didn’t take long for Orona to miss her sisters, and long to be with them again.

(Continued from the loz/bnha question) would the triforce specifically play a role in either plot lines? Cause ganon would be a bigger threat than even all for one due to u know, having the power of literal gods, and of magic is still present in the link remembers his incarnations au. Gah u made me so interested I’d love for either to be a full blown fic (tho ur not obligated to!)
A full fic of this sounds really fun! I just started school again, so I don’t know if it’ll come out with any kind of regularity, but it’d be fun to explore! Particularly the version that allows him to go to U.A. I just wanna see him interact with the 1-A kids honestly...
Anyway, theory below the cut!
So, I think magic would be around in either version, but the plot would go off the rails faster in the version where he remembers his incarnations.
If Link remembers what his duty and general goals are, then he’s of course gonna be looking for Zelda and Ganon from the start, along with the master sword. In the games, it’s pretty common knowledge that the world map changes almost constantly, often drastically so, so it’s not out of the ballpark for much of hyrule to end up becoming what’s now Japan, though obviously very, very different. I like the idea of certain parts of Hyrule still being preserved underground, possibly magically sealed by what remained of the Sheikah when Hyrule and its peoples eventually disappeared, for whatever reason that may have happened. Link could find these, whether purposely or by accident, depending on the AU. They’d likely be either shrines or dungeons of some sort, maybe a mix between the two, and they’d become a big part of his own storyline, allowing him to find the master sword, and in the case of the version where he doesn’t remember his past lives, could give him some insight into who he is and what he needs to do.
Another thing I think would be interesting to explore would be what exactly Zelda and Ganon’s places are in this world. I feel like Zelda, through the power of the triforce of wisdom, would absolutely remember regardless of the version of the AU, and she’d do her best to find her way to Link’s side. In the vigilante version I think this would actually make it take longer to find each other, with both of them running around the city with seemingly little rhyme or reason, there’d be a lot of missed connection type incidents, possibly passing each other in the street entirely and not registering how their senses flared at each others presences until later. In the U.A AU, she’d find him almost immediately, both proud and concerned at his choice to be in the spotlight as a hero. She, I think, wouldn’t want to become a hero, at least not a licensed one, recognizing how dangerous it would be for both of them to be so visible to Ganon and his forces. Instead, she’d become a vigilante, avoiding the limelight entirely, and would befriend Link outside of their respective career choices, trying to guide him as she would in any other lifetime.
Ganon, I actually had to take a good bit to think about. Part of me almost wanted to say he would try for being a hero. The thing about evil in the LOZ series is that it’s a tangible, physical force, referred to as “Malice.” The black and pinkish-purple substance which makes up the blights and traps of BOTW, and many of the enemies in the series (most notably BOTW and Wind Waker). Ganon, being essentially the embodiment of malice, can sense it’s presence in others, and oh boy can he sense it in everyone’s least favorite hero, Endeavor. It tempts him, the idea of being one of the “good guys,” only to inevitably destroy the system, and all of civilization, from the inside. It would be easy, actually, if we take a look at his track record. The man was king of the Gerudo, talked his way straight into Hyrule Castle on multiple occasions, and somehow managed to get Zant, who is practically the king of stubbornness, to be his servant in Twilight Princess. He is ridiculously charismatic, in a way that Endeavor simply isn’t. And if that nasty, slimy man can become the number two hero, where could Ganon get?
However, Ganon realizes two things before he can try to go down that road:
1. He doesn’t have the patience for that kind of long game
2. His quirk, a manifestation of a particular aspect of his ability, would almost immediately disqualify him from being a hero, only partially due to how unsafe it is for civilians, allies, and enemies alike.
Ganon’s quirk, I think, would be the ability to manifest constructs out of malice, made to serve his will. The problem with these is that they do have some sort of sentience on their own, and what free will they use that for is generally only to decide to create utter carnage out of whatever situation Ganon attempts to use them in. Personally, he doesn’t mind, but he couldn’t say the same of regular society.
So instead, he joins up with the League of Villains, and quickly takes over it from AFO. He actually decides he wants to try and wait AFO out, at first, knowing that not even his numerous quirks and advanced medical sciences can preserve his life for much longer, but this, unfortunately for AFO, doesn’t go according to plan. As soon as the villain catches wind of his quirk, and how powerful it is, he immediately attempts to take it for himself, inviting Ganon to a meeting with him only to attempt to rip the quirk from him almost as soon as he arrives, hoping that the force (and a touch of one of his more volatile quirks) will kill Ganon on the spot. Instead, the triforce of power simply rejects it, just as it prevented his execution in Twilight Princess, and instead it rebounds, severely injuring the man. It doesn’t take much longer after that for Ganon to dispose of AFO once and for all, angered by the attempt on his life, and he returns to the League a short while later with the news.
Shigaraki doesn’t take it well, of course, no one really does, but Ganon makes it clear how he feels about insubordination easily enough, and just like that the League is his.
So much of the plot would change because of this, particularly around the training camp arc, but I’d be super interested to explore that! In time, because if I write a fic on this I’d absolutely wanna start from the beginning of the show.
~
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed, don’t hesitate to tell me what you think! I might start writing the first chapter tomorrow, if I don’t have too much schoolwork to do... Have a good day/night lovelies, and thank you for asking!

Fic Rec Tag Game
Post your fics you are most proud of! No limit on how many, just the ones you look at and just feel so pleased that you wrote something so great! Tag as many people as you like to get them to share their own fics! 2k19 is the year we love our own fics babes!
Though I have been a writer in some form or another for as long as I can remember, I didn’t have any sort of online presence until around roughly 2010;  in fact, my first ever online account was on deviantArt!
I’ve made a lot of strides in the last decade with my writing, both in the craft itself and my perspective on how it can impact people in all sorts of wonderful ways--so below is a list of the works that have been important, beloved, or otherwise influenced my experience as a writer.
If anyone has ever been curious about my older works or the things that have been imperative to making me the writer I am today, I’d say it’s worth taking a peek--you might find something new of mine to like! ;3c
Truth Within (Star Wars, OC/General Grievous, chaptered fic)
Truth Within was (and still is) one of my most beloved writing projects--somewhat because, fun fact, it’s the first fanfiction I’ve ever written!
Truth Within is a Star Wars fanfiction based in the prequel trilogy, specifically in the Clone Wars era. It features the adventures and coming-of-age of Sakajin Takio, a young woman with a calling to right the wrongs of her mother and become her own person in the process. Along the way she’s challenged to learn the ugly consequences of war, the pain of loss, and the worth of protecting those she cares for--all while trying to handle being the apprentice of General Grievous as a member of the Separatist forces.
Originally posted to fanfiction.net in the late 2000′s and having been overhauled at least twice since, this piece represents how I’ve matured and improved as a writer. Sakajin has grown as a character in much the same way I like to think I’ve grown as a person, so much that she remains my proudest creation to this day.
I love this fic with all of my heart and have a universe worth of things plotted, planned, outline and half-written for it, though hilariously due to the fandom and the very specific ship it contains (Sakajin and Grievous) it doesn’t attract a lot of readers--still, it remains one of the biggest and most influential projects that I hold dear, and I really hope that one day I can make it into something it deserves to be.
Memories of You (Star Wars, General Grievous, chaptered fic)
Another passion project, but much (much) more recent than Truth Within. The story follows the reader as once a lover of General Grievous when they had been left for dead as a servant. After the general dies and they are left alone, the reader is shocked to realize many months later that he’s actually alive--and is in fact the acting general for the Separatist armies. Drama and tension unfold as the two of them try to figure out how to move forward, having to balance the joy of reuniting with a lover and the reality of war and the danger it presents.
Drabblewatch (Overwatch, fic/drabble collection) [NSFW]
What started as a reblogged prompt list spiralled into something absolutely amazing; after writing so many fills, I decided that it would be smart to make a blog to host the specific content and, one thing led to another, and Drabblewatch was born as the very first of many other writing blogs that I would make for reader-insert content.
Started in 2016, Drabblewatch remains one of my most popular writing blogs and series, pushing me almost entirely into the reader-insert community where I have found no shortage of excitement, fun, satisfaction and encouragement. Though I haven’t touched this blog or fandom in quite a while, there’s still a lot of content for it.
...and, fun fact, I actually met my eventual fiance @blood--hunter because of my Drabblewatch writing ;3c
Just Off the Highway / Just Past the Mountains (WTNV, Cecil & Kevin, chaptered fics)
My entrance into the WTNV fandom is, compared to the rest of the fics on this list, a rather recent event. With the nature of the series and the encouragement of the fans of my writing, I have been able to create a lot of absolutely fantastic things--these two fics are perhaps the best examples of what I’ve been able to create thus far. JotH is a introduction fic putting the reader and Cecil together, while JPtM is similar in intent but pairing the reader and Kevin instead.
As the Sun Sets (Critical Role S2, Mollymauk, oneshot)
The reader is a member of the Fletchling and Moondrop Carnival, taken in when they decide that they may earn more coin for their musical skills on the road than at the mercy of those in their home city. They have grown close to many of the members of the carnival, Molly especially, and the reader learns that they may have more talents in magic than in music.
It’s a simple fic, but one that I absolutely adore--namely because I want to create far more content in the future for the Critical Role fandom. I’ve debated making this a multi-chapter fic, but I suppose only time will tell.
And perhaps, maybe one day soon, I’ll even have a Critical Role writing blog... ;3c
Reader-Inserts: A Guide & Background
Omegaverse: Everything You Need to Know
These two entries are interesting, largely because they’re not actually fanfiction or such at all--they’re guides, and ones I’m rather proud of at that.
The first one is a guide for reader-inserts, detailing as much information about what they are, ways to write them and other bits of information from my years of experience in writing for the community. Though it’s by no means the only way to write such a lovely form of fiction, it’s a means for me to try and pass on as much of my own knowledge and experience as possible to normalize reader and self-insert fiction in this internet community of ours!
The second one is more of an informational perspective for a specific AU or trope, commonly revered to as omegaverse or A/B/O. It’s half-headcanon, half-background info, and from what I’ve heard has helped a lot of people understand this one interesting AU or universe setting in the fiction around them.
A Day on The Throne (MCU, Loki, oneshot) [NSFW]
If anyone wanted to know what my very first reader-insert work was, then the mystery has finally been revealed: it was with Loki! My first year of writing reader-inserts were a little clunky and utilized the ‘y/n’ system, but it’s interesting to compare this first work with what I write now, especially in making sure that my works are more accessible to people regardless of gender, sex, background or ethnicity.
I’m certainly not perfect, but it’s nice to see that I’m always getting a little better than before!
Being a Human (Lover) (Daft Punk) [NSFW]
Being apart of the EDM (Daft Punk) fandom I think is actually where the last nail was put into the coffin for me, at least in terms of dedicating a lot of my time to reader-inserts as a speciality.
The community was small and inviting, and a lot of people really encouraged my work and my potential as a writer to do bigger, better things. I actually met a lot of awesome people through the fandom, and to this day I consider @slowpokemegan one of my greatest friends and I am quite blessed to have met her because of this very fanfiction.
Collection of Suki’s Best Smut(tm)
Below is a list of what I consider some of my best smutty writing, though it’s absolutely not exhaustive since apparently out of the 150 fics I’ve posted to AO3, almost 80 of them are explicit and smutty in some form or another--consider these but a taste of what my writing career has created thus far :3c
Touch Me (RWBY, Ozpin)
It’s Best to Keep Me Pleased (RWBY, Torchwick)
Phone Call (FnaF, Phone Guy)
Silvairre’s Little Secret (FFXIV, Silvairre)
Lay Me Down to Sleep (Fallout 4, Maxson)
Heart-On (Undertale, Sans)
Audio Transmission (Lifeline, Taylor)
Touch Me, Have Me, Make Me Yours (The Dragon Prince, Aaravos)
Just Off the Highway (WTNV, Cecil)
Mine, Mine, Mine (WTNV, Kevin)
Have Me (Voltron, Lotor)
We’re Goin’ Down (LoZ: BoTW, Sidon)
Intimacy (Daft Punk)

I don't know if anyone has asked you this before, but how exactly did you get into Four Swords? :3 Was it immediate interest, or did it take a while before you started doing something more with it? What stood out to you about it?
pffft this got long and rambly so I’m gonna put it under a cut.  The tl;dr of it is: my bro brought home the manga from the library, I loved it immediately but was too shy to interact much with the fandom for like 4 years, then I finally got the courage to do so and I’m very glad I did! :D
I kinda got into the LoZ series in a weird way, in that I actually started with the manga!
My brother used to have a habit of going to the library and just absolutely clearing out their kids’ comics section, checking out as many as he could carry.  I’d often go through the piles he brought home - and one day that included the Zelda manga!  My thought at the time (please forgive my ignorance ^^;;) was “oh yeah, those’re those video games with the princess in a green dress who fights monsters and saves the kingdom, right?  Sounds cool.”
I don’t remember if Four Swords was the first one I read, but it definitely had the most impact.  I’ve never been completely sure what about it caught my attention to such a degree, I just love all the characters and their personal story arcs and their interactions with each other.  Vio was my immediate favorite - I do tend to like intelligent, sarcastic characters :P  I also totally believed his whole fake-betrayal thing and got so upset about my fave being evil.  Then over the course of the traitor arc I started getting really attached to Shadow, too… which made it pretty bittersweet when Vio’s fake defector act was revealed :(
The first time I finished Four Swords, I happened to be out to lunch with my family, and I will admit: I was openly crying in public over Shadow’s “death.”  Tears streaming down my cheeks, had to blow my nose, not the least bit subtle.
Anyway, that was early 2010-ish.  I was a fandom lurker for a long time, poking around ff.net and deviantArt without posting my own things or interacting much (I’m shyyy) but I was still utterly obsessed.  Other fandoms came and went, and sometimes my interest in Four Swords would be shifted to a back burner, but it was always my fallback, my favorite thing to re-read and doodle and make up stories about, even if I never posted any of it.
It was 2014 before I realized the FS fandom was alive and well on Tumblr, starting off another upswing of my interest in it.  Honestly, maybe it’s silly, but I think the real turning point was the sudden thought: “I can headcanon Shadow as asexual if I want to.  Vio too!  Why not?  My favorite ship can be ace like me and… I’m just allowed to do that?  There’s no reason not to!”  A fairly obvious realization, maybe, but at the time I felt like a whole world of possibilities had been opened up, and I started coming up with lots of headcanons and AUs for all the Four Swords characters.
And this time I actually managed to muster up the courage to interact with the fandom, to share my art and stories and ideas.  It was scary, especially at first - I was really worried about how people would react to my ideas, in particular the ones that were really personal and special to me, like my ace headcanons.  But most people have been so nice and encouraging, and I’ve made so many friends through the fandom, and seen so many other people’s awesome fanworks - I think my Four Swords obsession is pretty much permanent at this point :P

Send me an au and I’ll give you 5+ headcanons about it
@thooru-chan sent ‘Legend of Zelda Broly x Trunks’. I struggled with it (LoZ is a *massive* playground), but I think I got it! Please enjoy! No set game universe.
1) They are from the tribe of the Saiyans; a rumored cousin tribe to the Gerudo. Instead of the desert though, they live deep in the hostile mountains and have the opposite problem to their supposed cousins: their tribe is almost completely male, with the rare woman here and there. The rumors about the Saiyans are just as vicious though: that they’re bloodthirsty bandits who prey on mountain travelers and nearby settlements, that they’re mindless savages, and of course, all the rumors about how they steal away women and all the awful things that happen to them. Rumors are just rumors though.....mostly.
Broly was born into the tribe, naturally, but his massive power, boosted by having Din’s blessing (a red starburst on his shoulder, outlined in gold to also indicate that he is a rare Chosen) soon isolate him and he is quickly pressed into temple service; guarding what is supposedly the Temple of Farore, where the Triforce of Courage is said to be hidden.
Trunks was not born into the tribe. No one even knows who his mother is; Vegeta went wandering to gain experience about the world and when he finally returned after a number of years, he had a little four-year-old with him. As the Prince dumped him into the communal nursery, all he said was “This is my son, Trunks.” It was the first and only time Vegeta explicitly claimed him as his son. Trunks, with his lavender hair and pale blue eyes, was quickly made an outsider. His blessing mark doesn’t help, a blue spiral on the back of his left hand, Nayru’s blessing, the only one among the tribe full of those blessed by Din or even Farore. The odd blessing, plus his obvious status as a rare half-Saiyan, causes many in the tribe to mock and even reject him.
Their statuses as outsides is what causes them to first find each other and a fast friendship soon forms.
2) This friendship evolves into love over time, as the years pass and they grow still closer together. They earn titles, though not completely honorable ones. Broly is mocked as ‘The Legendary’ or even ‘The Guard’ given his massive power that he doesn’t use in addition to being the one who’s held a position as temple guard the longest. Others would have found their way into the warrior barracks or into the exploration groups; Broly had found himself content with the temple and stayed, again to the mockery of other Saiyans.
Trunks is called ‘Princess’, again for a variety of reasons. He can’t be called ‘Prince’ because his father still holds that title and many view his smaller, softer form as ‘womanly’, in addition to his gentler temper and Trunks being more prone to try and talk a situation out first over just fighting it out. It’s still better than his other title, ‘The Bastard’. Vegeta still won’t claim him and still no one knows who his mother is. It’s far better still than ‘Tailless’.
To the Saiyans, tails are sacred. A tailless Saiyan isn’t considered a ‘true’ Saiyan. Trunks, who hadn’t been born with a tail, has endured this rejection all his life. He grows his hair long instead, down to his waist, and often wears it in a low ponytail or a loose three-strand twist braid. Very few realize this is his attempt at a tail of his own. Broly is one of the very few and when they’re alone, he’ll let his tail hold onto Trunks’ braid or ponytail, first in companionship, later in love. (King Vegeta, Trunks’ grandfather, realizes it as well, but never says anything about it.)
When Broly finds out that Trunks is planning to leave the village, to try and find his mother and learn about the rest of his family, the larger Saiyan immediately offers to go with him without hesitation. It’s the deepening point in their relationship, when friendship evolved into love.
3) Trunks enters temple service to both spend more time with Broly and to get away from Vegeta. It also gives them the time and privacy they need to plan their departure. It is during one of their examination rounds, to make sure the temple grounds are stable and whole, they come across an unconscious traveler. A strange boy wearing green with golden hair and, once he awakes later in one of the temple rooms, brilliant blue eyes. He is marked by Farore and also one of her chosen (a green leaf over his heart, edged in gold, he shows them readily when they ask.)
He doesn’t speak but they find a way to communicate; his name is Link and he’s on a journey to find the Triforce of Courage. He needs it to defeat a great evil, led by Ganondorf of the Gerudo tribe. It’s sobering and heavy news. Trunks decides to bring it to both Vegetas for consideration; plus Link would need the permission of King Vegeta to enter the temple. No one can go in without it, not unless they work with the temple service and even then, there are some rooms that will not open without the King’s permission.
It’s a disaster that snowballs unexpectedly into a bigger one; King Vegeta is dismissive of the news and refuses permission to Link to enter the temple. Prince Vegeta sneers and comments how the Saiyans have no need to worry about some little upstart from the desert; they’re *Saiyans*, what could ever pose a threat to them?
Then the bigger disaster: Paragus, an adviser to the King and a well-respected veteran of the tribe, betrays them. He’d been working with Ganondorf in secret, planning to hand over the Triforce of Courage in exchange for becoming the new King of the Saiyans. In exchange for his cooperation, Paragus had been given a magical artifact set: a crown and hand ring; whoever wore the crown would be controlled by whoever wore the hand ring. Paragus forces Broly to wear the crown and sends him to kill Link.
Broly fails when Trunks stands between them; he cannot hurt Trunks, even in his mind-controlled rage state. So Paragus forced Broly to fall back into the temple, where Paragus is searching for the hidden Triforce piece. King Vegeta, still in shock at the destruction Broly had caused, finally gives Link permission to enter the temple.
Trunks goes with him and no one dares stop him.
4) The temple is tricky but they manage. It forces a person to focus on tactics and strategy over sheer brute strength. At one point Trunks makes a comment about how it’s no wonder the Saiyans never really bothered to venture through it and Link silently laughs with him.
They find Broly deep in the temple, in a room that holds a statue of Farore suspended above a seemingly endless chasm, her hands cradling a stone triangle. Paragus had forcibly kept him in an enraged state and Broly is half-mad from the uncontrollable power. The ensuing fight is hard and horrible but they pull through, somehow.
It’s costly though; Trunks had taken several blows for Link, who isn’t Saiyan but Hylian, who isn’t as physically sturdy as even a half-Saiyan like Trunks. The last blow he took put him in one of the temple walls and he stayed there, unconscious and coughing blood. The sight of the blood gets to Broly and he starts to regain his reason, horrified at what he has done, even if he was made to do it.
Paragus reveals himself then, having found the Triforce of Courage, though it rejects him. The power Ganondorf gave him goes wild and takes Paragus over, driving him mad with it. He goes to kill Trunks, cackling that the new age for the Saiyans shall begin now with the death of the filthy whelp. Broly meets him fist for fist, his rage and power breaking the control crown.
If Link thought the first battle was hard, watching the two Saiyans fight is on a whole new level. They destroy the temple around them and Link is quick to try and pull his new friend to safety. How they survive through it is a miracle that Link doesn’t question.
Broly kills his father, crushing him with some of the temple’s rubble. They think it is done with, but then the temple starts crumbling around them. Trunks, having regained consciousness, uses the last of his strength to literally throw Link to safety as the platform they’re on crumbles. He falls into the chasm and Broly throws himself after him. The last Link sees of them is the pair falling together into the darkness.
5) After claiming the Triforce of Courage, though he doesn’t feel worthy of it, Link tries to find them. It takes what feels like days to navigate the lower parts of the temple, the areas most likely to be connected to that chasm and eventually he does find something: a Saiyan tail and a purple braid, left just inside the doorway of a side entrance to the temple; in the snow outside are fading footprints of a single person. There’s a heavy finality to the situation that Link can’t describe but he takes both items back to the Saiyan village.
King Vegeta accepts the tail and braid with a tight-lipped silence that speaks far more than it should. Prince Vegeta is pale but also silent. They send Link away with a blessing of the Saiyans and an offer to return if he’d like. As he leaves, Link vows to say nothing of the sounds coming from behind him, the ones that sounds suspiciously like sobs and angry swearing.
6) Link meets them again, months later, traveling through the land to try and find a sacred artifact to allow him to open the doors of one of the sage temples. Trunks wears his hair short now and Broly is still quiet but it’s a far more peaceful silence now. They’re on a journey of their own now, not just to find Trunks’ mother but also to see the world as it is beyond the mountains. They give him a communication charm to let Link contact them if he ever needs their help. Link wishes them well and hopes they can heal from the past.
7) When they find him, Goku unintentionally hurts them both here, for a variety of reasons. He’s powerful but controlled, has a loving and close-knit family with his non-Saiyan wife and father-in-law and his half-Saiyan children, and is warm and friendly to the point of near-obnoxiousness.
They have to leave quickly but slowly, so slowly develop a close friendship with Goku and his family. It is through Goku that they finally find Bulma, who holds her lost son tightly while crying and accepts Broly just as easily. It’s a warm and nice change from before.

Assassins creed Girl Genius AU
So I saw the Assassins Creed movie last Saturday. I wasn’t exactly dragged there but I didn’t really want to go either, in the end it was okay. But it did get me thinking on the universe. And like always on a possible Girl Genius crossover.
(Discalimer in that I saw the movie and have seen (and played a tiny bit) of one of the games (the one where Ezio first starts as a full main character I think?) So I’m cribbing off of the idea but filling in blanks with my own ideas.)
Things I thought of:
I imagine this world in basically the GG universe, with the whole Templar and Assassins thing added on top like icing on a cake. The exception being there are no hives, Lu is trying to take over using Pieces of Eden. Otherwise the mad science, Klaus’ Empire, Skifander, ect are all similar though they get there in slightly different ways.
Lu/ and the Order are all Templars, taking away free will and all that. Probably Templars back to the Storm King (I mean yeah in canon he probably at one point was an okay dude, but even then as a king in the 1600 I doubt he was all that great.) who in this verse is probably pretty bad (but unlike Lu may fully buy into making the world a better place instead of direct I just want power.)
Lu’s reincarnations as Queen of the Dawn may actually be all her ancestors? Maybe some kind of really weird bleed effect after she starts experimenting with the animus. Maybe this is what tips Lu over fully, all her personalities bleeding into one? I imagine Lu’s the one who made the machine.
Tarvek and Violetta are both born into it. (Violetta thematically better for Assassins but family wise she’s stuck. She’s basically a Templar Assassin at the start. Smoke Knights maybe being the Templars try and making Assassin like fighters?) Neither of them are happy about this, though years of brainwashing has had some effect. Tarvek doesn’t really support the whole using Pieces of Eden thing (at the beginning mostly as there are multiple pieces and he realizes how easily it could be turned against him.) he learns they both too, at slightly different speeds of course. Plus Tarvek kind of likes the idea of managing to become Storm king without them.
Skifander is part of the assassins, a specific branch probably. Considering their swords in canon, I’d say their trademark would be hidden blades, but the blades are bigger and hidden on top of the wrist. (To do this a metal sheath is lays along the forearm, making it impossible to bend their wrists back as a safety precaution from stabbing their own hands and giving it the support necessary. It’s slightly less hidden as the under arm ones.)
They may know a little bit more on what exactly the Pieces of Eden are than most fractions, as Ashtara may be one of the ”gods” like Juno and Minerva. (I admit I know little about that topic in the creed universe.) And they are her chosen people. If so the War Goddess of the Dyne is also one of the gods. (I call her Din this may is totally is be a reference to LOZ.)
Klaus is a first generation assassins (Family stayed out of others business after all) converted by Zanta (and maybe the boys, more on them below.) When he came back from Skifander he lost contact with the creed, mostly because they were convinced he had switched over. He had not. He keeps a look out for Pieces of Eden, but honestly at the start has very little info about what the heck is going on.
Lu gets a hold of a minor Piece of Eden that lets her control one person, uses it on Klaus?
Gil is fun, because he’s technically not as assassin though his father told him about them (maybe, not sure about this) and only kind of knows what’s going on in the background of everything else. He’s also interesting because as far as the world knows he’s only has one assassin and so in the long run isn’t really vital to put him in the machine and yet secretly on his mother’s side he has generations of assassins ancestors that probably know a lot of secrets.
Doesn’t stop Klaus from putting him in the machine briefly at one point to basically give him a Klaus bleed for some reason (Maybe? haven’t actually plotted anything out, maybe a legit scenario for that doesn’t come up. its how it would work in this uni though)
Heterodynes are neither Assassins or Templars, but considering their stance on mind control and free will (plus the boredom of having no people to fight because anti-violence), they have almost always been friends of the Creed (especially since the Assassins are not exactly upstanding citizens, if the Heterodynes helped them keep free will safe they didn’t really care what else they did.) They trusted the Heterodynes disgust of mind control to the point they entrusted many Pieces of Eden to them for safekeeping knowing they would never use them, which makes Agatha a hot item in that by searching through her past lives they could find out a lot of secrets. (More on her later)
They never became a part of the Creed though largely because the Heterodynes look after them self and their people foremost. Their people never became part of the creed because it’s impossible for them to put anything above the Heterodynes in their loyalty and the Creed would not accept that. But there are still creed allies in the people of Mechanicsburg even today.
Bill and Barry are interesting. I could see them becoming Assassins, a showcase in how they are so different from the previous Heterodynes in how they see the town. On the other hand, the fact their father was allies with the Assassins as well as the fact the Assassins have sat back and watched their family for the generations do horrible things, i’m not sure how they would take that. I’m conflicted but kind of lean to them being assassins and sort of leaving the town behind because of that. Mostly for convince (easy to get Klaus in, showcase of difference from other Heterodynes, lets Barry be the one to have convinced the order Klaus is Templar now, etc)
Agatha is fun in that she was probably born to be Lu’s new body while Klaus Barry was born to be used in experiments to find Pieces of Eden through his life. But KB died, so Agatha was the next best thing. Though before that, in hope of regaining their “goddess” Agatha got put through the machine with the plan of basically forcing her to live out everyone one of her Mother’s line and turn her into Lu part 2 (As that’s how Lu basically went Other.) But since Agatha wasn’t in the machines willingly (Unlike Lu had been) it shot her out after only some of Lu’s memories, but left her with a Lu bleed.
(Maybe not sure of the above?)
Things happen and Lu comes back anyway. There is an attempt to get knowledge from Agatha on where Pieces of Eden are (Possibly leading her to see bleeds of Heterodynes. (Her father? Syn? (Probably not as it has to be direct ancestors and Syn probably wasn’t), ect).
And then more things happen that take me away from what I’ve thought of for now.
(Actually have a version of this Au which merges with my Soulmate/mark AU that one day maybe I’ll talk about but it has so much fanon Skiff religion and spirituality in it that will never be canon that I haven’t done so yet, where instead of going back through “genetic memory” the Animus basically looks at the lives of prior reincarnations, meaning not connected by genetics a lot of the time… I personally like this one better but so much background to explain to make it make sense. *Sad face*)
