In the weeks that followed, the sightings of you only increased. You seemed to be everywhere he looked, asking him the same thing over and over again.

He wished he knew what you wanted. Surely you didn't want him to leave little Esme? You would never have wanted him to hurt himself so why did you ask him to go back to him? You were dead!

"I brought you your favourites." He stated plainly as he pulled out the old bouquet of flowers Ben had brought you the week before. He poured out the stagnant water and replenished it with some from the bottle of water he'd stashed in his pack. Then, just as you had shown him on one of the many evenings you'd spent together, he arranged them carefully, sure to make sure they were just how you would have liked them.

"I'm sorry I haven't visited sooner." He said as he got to his feet and rubbed the back of his neck nervously "Things have been busy with the baby and work... Don't want to bore you with the details but ya know... It's been hard." He let out a long sigh as he scraped his hand over his face to wipe away the traitorous tears that tracked down his cheeks "Esme's getting so big so fast." He continued "You should see her Titch, the spitting image of you! With the addition of my hair and eyes." He chuckled.

His eyes traced over the words carved into your headstone.

The words Here Lies carved in an elegant font followed by your first name and last name, 'Titch' at the end by request of Ben

Ben had selected the words. Frankie hadn't been able to bring himself to do it so the younger Miller had stepped up. Taking the 'anything I can do to help' statement he'd made to Fish when you'd died so literally.

"Seeing you everywhere is killing me Titch." Frankie said after a short pause "Is this what you meant? Come to me, did you mean this? Because I am wracking my brains baby, trying to understand what it is you want from me." He sobbed "The guys all think I'm losing the plot but I know you're there. Just out of eyeshot or something and I know you're trying to tell me something so please... help me understand Titch."

He paused, his eyes locked on the headstone as he let out a shaky breath before pleading one last time.

"Please..."

"Frankie." Your voice made him just and his head shot up, scanning the surroundings for you.

"Frankie please..." You pleaded "Please don't leave me."

No matter where he looked he couldn't see you. But he could hear you like you were right beside him.

"What do you mean?" He begged, tears openly spilling down his cheeks "I'm here Titch... Baby I'm here!"

"Please don't leave me, Frankie." You repeat, your tone breaking his heart as he desperately looked for you among the headstones "I can't do this without you."

This statement let Frank's brows draw together. What did you mean by that? He was the one who'd been left behind. Your pleads disappeared like smoke on the wind and Frankie was left with the sound of his own breathing and the rattling of branches. He pressed his palms firmly against his eyes as he tried to slow his breathing, his pounding heart hammering against his ribs.

"I can't do this." He whispered to no one in particular, allowing the dam to break "Fuck I can't... I can't cope with this."

You didn't say anything else and Frankie audibly groaned before pushing himself to his feet. He didn't understand why you were doing this. Torturing him. He wasn't sure how much more of this he could take.

...

"Well, ain't that better Lil' Titch?" Ben said as he finished fastening her babygrow "Uncle Ben's not so bad at this huh?"

Esme smiled in reply, her legs kicking and arms waving in visible excitement before he scooped her into his arms and planted a big kiss on her cheek. She settled quickly on his shoulder and he smiled as she let out a little sigh and closed her eyes, falling asleep almost instantly.

"Shit Titch... I wish you could see how perfect she is." He whispered as he placed a kiss on the infant's brow.

"Hands off... she's mine." Frank teased as he walked into the lounge, grinning as his best friend cuddled his daughter so closely.

"You gotta share the baby Fish!." Ben chuckled as he gently gingerly sat on the couch.

“Yeah, yeah...” Frank grumbled as he waved off his friend, traipsing to the kitchen to fetch a beer.

“How’d it go?” Ben asked when the older man reappeared, giving him a sympathetic smile as he watched him sit on the armchair across from him.

“How’d what go?”

“Seeing Titch!”

“Was fine.” Frankie shrugged, fooling no one once again.

“There’s something you’re not telling me.” Ben pushed and Frankie groaned.

“Ben…”

“You gotta talk about this shit man!” Ben pushed, pleading with his eyes for his friend to just open up to him.

“You won’t believe me!”

“Why would you-“

“I heard Titch again.” Frank snapped, keeping his voice low so he didn’t wake his baby.

“What do you mean you heard her?”

“I keep hearing her talking to me. Sometimes I see her and she always says the same thing!”

“Which is?”

"To go back to her." Frank replied, scraping a shaky hand over his face.

"Go back to her?"

"Yes, Ben!" He snarled "And today she was begging me not to leave her!" He choked "But she left me Ben!... I loved her and she left me all alone..." He trailed off as he broke down into tears, head in his hands.

Ben got up and placed Esme in her Moses basket with practised ease before sitting on the arm of the chair Frank was sitting in and pulling him close.

"I can't do this..." He sobbed and Ben sighed "I don't know what she wants from me."

"Fish... this is just your brain's way of holding onto her." Ben sighed "We all deal with grief in different ways... Shit, I keep listening to the last voicemail she left me over and over again just so I don't forget her voice!"

"No!" Frank all but shrieked "That's not what this is Ben! It's her I know it is!"

"You can't seriously believe Titch is haunting you, man!" Ben sighed as he stood up to check on Esme as she started to fuss.

"I don't know how else to explain it, Ben!" He growled "I keep seeing her everywhere and she keeps repeating the same thing over and over!"

"Fish-"

"But then today she said something different." Frankie interrupted " She begged me not to leave her... Told me she couldn't do this without me..." He trailed off whilst nervously pacing his lounge "What does that even mean? She can't do this without me... She can't be dead without me? Doesn't make any fucking sense!"

"Fish... Man, you need to calm down!" Ben pleaded, noting how breathless the pilot has suddenly become "This won't be doing your heart any good man!"

"My heart's fine!" The older man grumbled.

"You say that but this can't be good for you!" Ben warned "Just take a breath man... I believe you, okay! I believe you saw her."

"You're just saying that." Fish scoffed, rolling his eyes when Ben frantically shook his head.

"I'm really not okay!" The younger man pleaded "Just... Just please."

Frankie sighed as he ran a shaky hand through his mussed hair. His eyes then drifted to Esme who was staring over at him with her large, teary eyes. His heart ached and he was quick to scoop her up into his arms and lay a soothing kiss on the crown of her head.

"I'm sorry baby girl." He whispered as he bounced her gently in his arms "I just miss your mummy so much."

"We all do brother." Ben said as he placed a comforting hand on Frankie's back "I'm not trying to say that I even remotely understand the pain you're feeling brother but know that I miss her so much it hurts... And that I am here! Whatever you need..."

Frankie nodded, giving his friend a weak smile before resting his cheek on the top of Esme's head.

"I know Ben." He said softly "Thanks."

"Any time." Ben replied, giving his friend a friendly wink before grabbing his stuff to leave "See you tomorrow for dinner yeah?"

"Sure." The pilot replied softly "See you then."

...

"Why the fuck did you pick a restaurant that didn't have a parking lot asshole!" Ben grumbled as he pushed Esme's pram along the pavement, the steep hill making it a little harder.

"It had good reviews okay!" Will grumbled, "It's not that bad!"

"You're not the one pushing a pram up a 90-degree hill!" Ben grumbled, pulling a smirk from Frankie.

"You offered brother!" Frank pointed out, sniggering at the groan that he received in reply "I can take her if you're struggling."

"I am not struggling!" Ben argued and Fish threw his hands up in surrender.

"We're nearly there!" Will piped up "Just across the street."

The three of them reached the crossing, breathing a small sigh of relief when the restaurant came into view. Will crossed first with Ben following closely behind him. Something had distracted Frankie, leading him to step out a few steps behind his friends but your voice calling his name stopped him in his tracks and he looked to his left, your figure illuminated by a bright white light.

"Come back to me." You pleaded as you always did and Frankie froze. Tears sprouted as he looked at you smiling back at him as you held your hand out to him "Come back to me."

You disappeared as quickly as you appeared, a horn sounding before Ben screamed his name. Then suddenly he was flying for a brief moment before his body connected with something solid and he rolled over it before hitting the ground with a sickening crunch.

"FISH!!" Ben screamed as he ran to the pilot's side, hands shaking as he took in his friend's condition "Fish stay with me." He choked as he saw how bent and broken the older man looked.

Frankie winced as he turned his head, noting how Will was standing with the pram as he frantically spoke to who he assumed was the emergency service on his phone. He also noted that the driver who had hit him was nowhere to be seen.

Hit and run.

"Ben." He coughed after he spoke, blood filling his throat at an alarming rate.

"Shhhh." He hushed the man and stroked his hair, desperately trying to keep himself together "Just keep breathing for my Fishsticks!" He pleaded 'Please don't leave me..."

His last statement blended into yours. He could hear you again, pleading not to leave you and he only felt more confused. He was dying... it was clear that he was so surely he was going back to you.

Surely you should be happy?

"Please, Frankie... Please don't leave me."

You pleaded... your voice shaky.

"I'm coming Titch." He whispered. His eyes fell shut as darkness took him.

"What's happening?" You sobbed as hands moved you from the room.

"He's crashing!" Stated someone in the room and you shook your head as you were pushed into the hallway, still able to see everything through the glass walls of Frankie's room.

"Please, Frankie... Please don't leave me." You sobbed "Please..."

Another set of hands pulled you away but not before you witnessed them shock the man you loved, desperately trying to restart the heart that was supposed to save him. You were placed in a room where you had spent more time than you cared to remember in the past month and a half. Hours sat waiting for news on whether Frankie was going to pull through.

He'd gotten the heart he so desperately needed yet for close to two months he'd been in a coma, fighting battle after battle. This was just the latest in a long list of complications he'd suffered.

Kidney Failure... Infection... His body had even rejected the donor heart but that was something they had managed to detect early. It seemed his body just refused to get better, even if his mind wasn't willing to let go.

"What's happening?" Asked Ben as he stepped into the room after being directed here by a nurse, his brows tightly drawn in concern.

"He crashed." You sobbed as you threw your head into your hands.

"What?... What caused it?"

"I don't know." You replied, shaking your head "They dragged me in here as they tried to bring him back... I haven't heard anything yet."

Ben nodded solemnly as he sat down beside you, handing you Esme when you held your arms out to receive her. You needed to hold your baby.

"Why won't he get better Ben?" You sobbed as your eyes locked with his.

"He's really poorly." He replied softly "He needs time to get better."

"But that's just it... He's not getting better!"

"He will, Titch." Ben assured you and you sighed.

"How do you know that?"

"Because he's got something to fight for." He stated plainly.

The two of you then sat in that room for what felt like hours, glad of Esme to keep you somewhat distracted from what the outcome of this latest setback might be. The doctor appeared sometime later. His expression was difficult to read.

"How is he Doc?" Ben asked, holding your free hand tightly in his.

"We managed to bring him back." The doctor announced, "He's weak and we have had to up his anti-rejection meds."

"He's rejecting the heart again?"

"He never technically stopped." The doctor stated "We have been able to keep it under control with medication. He seems to be responding well though and we're hopeful."

You both breathed a simultaneous sigh of relief, glad that finally, something was going right.

"There's something else though." The doctor stated and both you and Ben shared a grim glance before looking at the doctor again.

"What is it?" You asked, your voice shaking slightly.

"He's awake."

The mastermind who plans everything has appeared. He's not someone who wouldn't think he would be the one who is behind everything, including Wei Wuxian's comeback. Who would that be?

I nominate this final on grounds of CCP information control, censorship and homophobia. They were so scared of the power of wangxian that they ended up banning ao3 in china and in the show they have to inexplicably have them part ways just to hammer home the no-homo. Plus the show is just kind of objectively bad.... but it rewires your brain all the same

Supernatural - 15.20 Carry On

After Chuck is defeated and someone takes his place, Sam and Dean go about their life of hunting, but things don't turn out as expected.

1) you know why 2) god. where do i fucking start. this episode completely ignores this large cast of characters that were considered family in order to make it the "just two brothers" show again, scrapping basically every shred of character development shown throughout the course of the show, cutting out incredibly important characters at the last second (i.e. eileen being replaced with blurry wife for no fucking reason, cas not being there at all despite the whole love confession/ dying for dean that happened just two episodes before). in the penultimate episode the boys fight god. the finale? a random vampire from an episode of season one, who up until this point had never been mentioned again. then we have Dean being impaled on a very phallic looking spike and, after a speech about it just being about the brothers, dies. he then goes to heaven, where his father figure tells him his abusive dad is just down the road. he hops in his car (also in heaven, somehow) and drives for the next 60 odd years waiting for Sam to die. meanwhile, sam is moving on with blurry wife and i shown with a son named dean (as seen stitched onto his clothes), and we eventually see sam, now old and clad in the crustiest looking wig i have ever seen, die in the hospital. he goes to heaven, meets Dean on a bridge, and the last shot is the entire cast and crew on the bridge saying goodbye, completely shattering the fourth wall because fuck it, who cares anymore. and this isn't even mentioning everything that happened after. just an absolute mess the whole way through. 3) Random villain from season 1 kills one of the main characters, he goes to heaven and drives around while the other main character gets a montage of growing old a horrible wig. And that's not even all. 4) It abandoned 15 years of series theme and character growth, veered away from the natural story line and failed to resolve major plot threads. Dean deserved better, and so did Cas. See also Jared's terrible wig, Dean jr, Dean driving through heaven for five minutes... 5) Dean dies in the most anticlimactic way, cheap wig, blurry wife 6) There was no Castel :( 7) I mean... 8) destroyed every character arc in one fell swoop. the guy who tried to kill himself and struggled with depression throughout the show ended up killing himself anyway! was cas’s death even important? who was blurry wife? why was the absolute ugliest toddler imaginable cast to play Sam’s son? but in order to truly grasp how decimating this finale was, you have to understand the queerbaiting between 15.18 and the finale. why did Misha post that pic in the onion field with Uriel. why was Misha originally credited to be in 19 episodes of the final season on IMDb. why was . Hrrgghh. 9) Do I even need to write propaganda for this one? Even though it was the series finale we are still here after 3 years 😂 Title said 'carry on', but the fandom said 'nah, time for season 16'. 10) Bad old man makeup and no castiel 11) Everything had been neatly wrapped up in the previous episode. Then they decided "Hey you know what would be great? If we just killed one of the main characters." They killed him for no reason. He deserved to live a full life, have a family, retire, but nope! He met his match in a RUSTY NAIL. Not to mention that there were terrible wigs, blurry wives, and subtextual incest vibes involved.

+ After it aired, one of the actors unfollowed everyone who had anything to do with the episode.

All of this info comes from IG, Kelsey & Brynn's podcast (out of line), Brynn's TikTok, Flyers beat reporters, Twitter, Tumblr, and the NHL website.

If I've missed anything or need to make any corrections lmk!

April 30, 2023

Trevor & Jamie attend Stagecoach music festival in CA and meet Kelsey & Brynn on Day 3 (April 30)

Trevor went up to Kelsey, he tapped her on the shoulder and asked her her name. They introduced themselves to each other. He asks "who's your friend" about Brynn and then introduces them to Jamie, introducing him as "his roommate".

In the podcast, Kelsey describes Jamie and Trevor as "absolutely hammered"

Trevor & Jamie tell them they're from California, that they were in college but dropped out to play hockey. They told them they're hockey players but at the time Kelsey & Brynn (who don't watch sports/hockey) didn't know that they meant professional hockey players for an NHL team.

They hang with them for a while (pics below) then as the girls are leaving T & J try to convince them to stay but they don't. At some point Brynn & Trevor exchange numbers - she has his number in her phone, presumably he texted himself from her phone in an effort to get the girls to meet up with them later on at SC. They don't end up meeting up again.

May-July 2023

A while later (after SC), Brynn is scrolling on TikTok and sees an edit of Trevor. She recognizes him.

She looks through her messages and pictures and finds them on IG and realizes that the two guys they met at SC are famous athletes.

They all follow each other on IG. Brynn, Kelsey, and Jamie are all still mutuals but Trevor unfollowed the girls pretty quickly.

I found the smoking gun.

Y'all, the Duffers played us for absolute fools 😂 Now I know why they included that Sherlock Holmes quote in the season.

Here's the Russian cell block they showed us at the end of S3. (Apologies for the shitty pics of my TV 😆)

Look carefully. How would you describe the place? Well, it's definitely underground. No windows or natural light. Dark, grimy, dingy. The doors are rusted. The Demogorgon is kept close by and routinely fed prisoners. But when one guard tries to grab this prisoner, the other says, "No. Not the American," as if he's too valuable to be monster chow.

This is where the Russians keep Hopper:

Above ground. Windows and natural light. Grey stone walls. Green doors with minimal rust. Hopper even has a window in his cell. No one really knows about the Demogorgon beyond whispered rumors. Hopper doesn't know it's here until he's sent to the arena... which, btw, shows you the Russians don't particularly mind feeding him to the Demogorgon. Hell, they don't seem to care whether he lives or dies at all. He's just a brute who can swing a hammer.

None of this is a continuity error, either. Hopper makes his way to the underground wing with a flamethrower in Vol 2.

Hopper was never THE AMERICAN.

The American is kept underground in a max security wing.

The American is too valuable to be fed to the Demogorgon, which tells us that...

...the American is useful to "the Motherland" for more than manual labor.

They probably have plans for him. Big plans. They want to find out what he's capable of. They may have even given him a number. The number 8, perhaps? Yes I am indeed suggesting the Duffers planted the number 8 as a red herring. Hopper's been a red herring this whole time

If you have a really tiny tablet you might need to trace outside a bottle lid or something.

Okay now on to the meat of the post

-- Brush Stuff --

I use Clip Studio Paint. For my playlist drawings I think I only used these brushes (these are my main 3 in general) (p.s. they're all default brushes! but i've adjusted the settings):

1) Gouache This is most of what i used for the postcards. I nuked Color Stretch because i hate it (it blends colors together as you're painting, like painting over wet paint. I prefer things to look more crisp)

2) Real G-Pen Used this as little as possible, to keep the painterly effect. My preferred fine-detail pen, has a nice crunch to it. I've fine-tuned my setting further in the thickness dynamics / brush size dynamics settings because I mostly use this brush for linework and wanted it to handle really, really naturally and precisely

The random box is checked by default, probably to make this brush feel more like handling a real inkdip pen (I don't like that)

3) Mapping Pen Least used. I generally keep this brush at the 50-70px range. It's unpleasant to use for detail work (the taper is really fiddly at my tablet pressure settings) but good at filling in large areas very opaque very quickly, with a crisp edge (Also, doesn't lag as much as the gouache brush at large-ish sizes). Has enough wiggle room that it can be used to approximately fill tighter spaces at large brush sizes. Used for when I needed to quickly color over an area that wasn't working or quickly fill in background color that didn't need paintbrush texture. Did not realized the stabilization was set to 10 until just now. I usually turn that waaay down to prevent lag (my laptop isn't very old but it's a sensitive beast)

Other stuff that'll help:

General pen pressure: (under File -> Pen Pressure Settings)

tweaking how CSPaint handled my pen pressure helped a lot with making lineart look more natural. It's worth messing around with this and trying out different settings for a while to see how they feel.

-- How Long it Takes 2 Draw --

I don't really keep track of how long art takes me from start to finish, and making the playlist drawings was kinda nonlinear 😅 sorry!

-> I started out sketching really quick composition and color ideas as the songs were playing, limiting myself to just the duration of each song (so like, 5 minutes for this part) -> i did that again at least 2 more times per song -> after that, idk. I would work on one pic then get stuck and move to another. Some I could hammer out in like... 5 hours? Some took me upwards of 20 (30?) hours for no real reason (I have "will graham clock" days, where I'll try to draw a face over and over and it'll look really strange, like will graham's clock drawing every time) (this seems to be either a vitamin deficiency or a brainfog inflammation type thing 4 me 😵‍)

I'll use ur two favorites as specific examples: -> Chikai was one that went pretty quickly (with the exception of their arms and the clothing folds there giving me trouble). Probably took 4-6 hours? -> Simple Song had a couple different versions, partially because I initially had the cards all laid out landscape-style, and I decided I actually wanted them all portrait-style & repainted it after it was already done. That aside, the colors /atmosphere on that one gave me trouble and the general composition / perspective had a lot of tweaks (I was trying to figure out if I wanted it to be a kinda flat stylistic perspective or if I wanted it to make more literal sense, trying to figure out what to do with luffy, trying to make him not look Too baby boy sweetie pie). Probably took 7-10 hours...?

Hello! M here seeking F partner for slow-burn, story-based, plot-heavy, sweet but dramatic, romantic roleplays, with a healthy dash of spice when the time is right. As a result, all partners must be of legal age.

As a warning, I'm pretty vanilla, so if you're looking for a partner to engage your wild kinks, I'm probably not your guy. And let’s not forget: forbidden love and/or taboo relationships are just *chef’s kiss* – as long as, see above, they’re still sweet and romantic. The rest of what I like would probably mean I need to mark this post, so if you’re interested, ask. I do NOT do bathroom stuff, cruelty, injury, or non-con/dub-con.

I'm not strict on literacy, as long as it moves the story forward, but I'm most comfortable in the 2-4 paragraph range. This is not to say that a single paragraph might not get all the plot motion done; it’s also not to say I won’t get carried away and write a freaking novel. Both have happened.

MY THOUGHTS ON TBB 2×07 "The Clone Conspiracy" & 2×08 "Truth and Consequences"

Let me start by saying that these episodes didn't go as I expected. I had a whole (not very clear) plot in my head that did not happen. At all. But I love them! It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

My thoughts and reactions are below the cut

2×07 "The Clone Conspiracy"

I gasped when I saw 79's. In a weird way, I was surprised that was still functioning, which is stupid. Of course, it's still open. The Empire is trying to rid of the Clones, but they're not gone yet, so they still need a place to get hammered. Now, more than ever, I think.

As these 2 clones talk (Cade and Slip, my beloveds), it hit me that that bar played a part in another conspiracy. Argh! 😩 The feels!! Why?! 😭

And I'm now headcanoning that this guy here is either Cade or Slip (probably, Cade since he was the one who had second thoughts first)

*sighs*

Anyway, let's continue…

It hurts so much watching the clones deal with all the crap the Empire makes them do. I just want to hug them and protect them at all cost.

As much as it hurts, I knew Cade wasn't going to live much longer. And my thought at that moment about the assassin was, "please, don't be Crosshair. Don't be you. PLEASE!!" And the scope didn't look like his but I was not sure until they showed the helmet. Of course, then the question was who the hell is that?

Wait! They're saying that Kamino fell because of a massive storm?!?!! that's the worst excuse ever! like, how not everybody automatically knows that it's a big fat lie?! Kamino? A planet used to horrible storms, so their building were made for resisting those. That Kamino?! Honestly, Rampart has absolutely no imagination or logical thought.

Of Course! It's about that recruitment bill 🙄

RIYO!!! WOOHOO!! THAT'S MY GIRL, FIGHTING FOR THE CLONES!! I'm so ecstatic to see her (I knew she would, since I saw that leaked pic of her with Rex and the boys) and it's so good to watch her doing what she does best.

(My Foxiyo shipping heart is wishing to see Fox too, or at least that she mentions him or something. Just a tiny hint. I know it won't happen but dreaming cost nothing)

In real life and when you're young, you think that it won't happen to you, until one day you get up and say "oh Fuck" and you're old. The sad thing is that as things are going, the clones won't have enough time to enjoy life before that happens 😣

Just got back from L&T. Thoughts under the cut. But first, a pic of my girl (sorry, I mean, Your Majesty 👑):

So I have a few negatives to talk about but let's start with the positives.

The scene with Thor and Zeus when he's trying to convince him to join him against Gorr reminded me so much of his talk with Odin in TDW. At some point I thought they were trying to draw some parallels... but honestly I don't know if it's just me seeing things when there's nothing. Either way, I liked it.

Thor's speech to the kids towards the end was touching.

Val handling King duties and enjoying it was lovely to see.

Jane explaining the Einstein-Rosen bridge while under chemo. She was never boring and that enthusiasm is contagious. "You just destroyed your book!" - "Yeah! But now you understand wormholes!". She's lovely and I'll miss her.

Heimdall! My beloved. Only for 10 seconds but hey, I'll take whatever they give me, I love that man. Shorter hair too!

And this is something between a positive and a negative: I like that Thor said to Quill something in the lines of (I'm paraphrasing here): "You have a team that cares for each other, I never had that". I actually liked it because from what we've seen in the movies he had 4 friends who seemed to follow him and look up to him but we never saw him having a deep conversation with them, to me they were more party/battle friends than anything and Thor always stroked me as a very lonely person despite being a prince. Not to mention the Avengers never truly showed any interest, let alone compassion, especially in EG. So that line is interesting to keep in the movie...... that is, if you do something with it. But they just had him say it then ignored it for the rest of the movie. It's such a lost opportunity. Imagine Thor shit-talking the Avengers and setting the record straight after EG... if only.

Now, the negatives.

I don't understand all this talk about worthiness. If Ragnarok was supposed to teach Thor and the audience anything is that being worthy is utterly meaningless! Lifting Mjolnir was always entirely subjective, reliant on a bunch of rules dictated by a deeply flawed character like Odin. Thor is supposed to know he doesn't need that hammer or the axe or anybody's approval. He's the golden child, if he doesn't learn that then his arc keeps going in circles, and round and round it goes. It makes no sense.

I can't believe 2 movies in since she was introduced and my girl Val does not get a name. I appreciate people calling her Val but surely she's got a name, right? And her horse? I'll say this though: I don't remember them giving him a name but I'm grateful, if they call him anything but Aragorn my URL is truly fucked 😜

Why bring Sif back? She's the LAST connection Thor has to his old life. I was so happy to see her again since I genuinely thought he was going to lose it or they were gonna have some chat or something, but nah, they share one scene that's eerily similar to Thor 1 and they're good to go.

Once again character development is done in a rushed one-minute sequence. I watch these movies because I care about these characters, if that means you add 25 minutes to the damn movie then do so. If that means you cut a few fights then do so.

Thor realizing he wants and needs love is nice but giving him a kid is not the way to go, that's giving him someone to care for when he should be caring ABOUT AND FOR HIMSELF.

What kind of relationships does he have with Val and the others? A bunch of scenes with the Guardians and all I saw were screams and nothing more when that team is more a family than anything else, they wouldn't go about it like the Avengers (battle together then each member goes their own way), the Guardians care.

I would have wanted to see how the Asgardians are adapting to Earth or a bit more from New Asgard. Jane gets a statue, that's cool, no statues for anybody else though?

Oh the """queer rep""".... we were told she would look for her Queen but of course that didn't happen, I wish I could say I'm surprised but I'm not. And she doesn't even get to say anything, it's Korg who says "girlfriend" and leaves it at that? You know what, it's far worse to have this, I'd rather not have anything. If this is as far as they're willing to go please STOP. Everyone is straight, that's easier to digest.

Also, it's so fucking annoying to see people erasing her identity and saying she's a lesbian. No she isn't, Valkyrie is bisexual. We have enough bi erasure as it is, don't contribute to it.

And speaking of my girl... where the fuck is her arc? She gets no story, her pegasus is only on screen a couple times, she seems to be enjoying being a King so why not show that and how she's growing from being a warrior raised to kill to becoming someone trustworthy who loves her people and learns the humans' rules so she can defend them? Also she's still not redeemed, she has never said anything about how she feels after being raised to kill and commit genocide, how she felt about Odin (when Gorr was telling her I was almost begging! for her to speak up). I will admit I jumped when she was stabbed though. I may have a weird definitely non-healthy attachment to her lol

The problem about introducing new and powerful cities and weapons while Feige keeps parroting all that bs about "connected universe" is that it makes previous movies absolutely useless. So Thor knew about Omnipotent City? Why not go there in IW instead of Nidavellir then? Once you open the portal to Eternity why not kill Gorr and ask for anything...

Gorr the God Butcher who's shown on-screen killing the crazy amount of......... one god in the entire movie. So much for butchering.

"Lady Thor", "the name is Mighty Thor or Dr Jane Foster", I knew she was going to say that. Way too forced. You want feminism, Marvel? Flesh out the female characters and stop giving them the suits and powers of their male counterparts.

And lastly, what Mjolnir means to Thor. What that hammer represents is his past, his family, the time when stability was ensured and he had everything he wished for, back in the day when he didn't know the lies and what was hiding underneath the golden palace and his father's machinations. His attachment to Mjolnir in reality what it hides is his subconscious desire to go back to that time, which is exactly why he should despise that hammer! Not through hate for Hela but disappointment and anger towards his father.

All I keep seeing in these movies is Thor not growing up or out of his golden child status and I HATE IT. And it seems the only way they know to make characters "grow" is by giving them a romance or a kid... these characters need self-love, how is it possible that these writers and directors don't understand that familial, romantic, etc love is not the same as self-love? That you can have a million people who love you and still not love yourself?

Overall this is clearly the worst Thor movie for me, worse than Ragnarok, and I give it a 4/10 and I'm being generous (3,5 of those are for Val 😂). I still love Thor though, there are.... flashes of his old self and while short they remind me why I've always been a big fan of his.

Thor honey, you deserve so much more than this.

Despite the crowds I actually thought this was one of the most fun anime expos for me and I've been going since 2011. Though I mainly go for the artist alley and exhibit hall to buy stuff, don't really pay attention to panels so I can't say anything for those. People kept complaining about lines to get in and waited an hour but there was literally an entrance that NEVER had a line and staff was constantly telling people to go to the other entrance but I guess I can understand how confusing it is if you're not from the area. I never waited more than 5 minutes to get in. The problem was that everyone would just follow the crowds and not really look anywhere else 😭

It was hot this year but not NEARLY as bad as past years. Though I don't think they were running the air conditioning that well in exhibit hall the first 2 days bc I was on fire. The hottest it got was like 85 but I've been to cons when it was like 100s outside so it was more tolerable.

I will say the crowd vibes were super weird and people did smell bad. God especially when I went into the 18+ section 😭 luckily I had my mask on the whole weekend so that kinda helped? Exhibit hall doesn't really sell anything I care about anymore :( it's just the same demon slayer Hatsune Miku and dragon ball figures it's been for like the last 6+ years and it's kinda boring.

Artist alley had SOOOO many amazing artists. I couldn't find much aot fanart and the one booth I did find one but I already bought all their stuff before JGFUDJSJDJ.

I tried to go to cosplay meetups the first 2 days and staff did NOT know how to help people navigate to them at all. I missed a fruits basket gathering bc staff told me to go the wrong direction completely even when I showed a picture of the location :') I tried to go to a genshin meetup but the location was too small and too crowded and it created a fire hazard so they canceled it 20 mins in 🥲 aaaaand there was an aot meetup but I was so frustrated that I just gave up trying to go to them so hffhdhshchfh

I went to the 21+ area and got a couple drinks and maybe gotten a little hammered aaaaand impulsively made stupid financial decisions chdjdjfjfjfjfjvj and like....this group of guys kept trying to ask me and my friend questions and they were being uh a little sus haha 😬 (I thought I wouldn't have to deal with m*n if I dressed up like one BUT I WAS WRONG)

I BOUGHT AO MUCH SHIT YALL I saved up 2 months worth of tips for this con and I spent like...80% of that fund...🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲😭😭🥲 but WORTH IT BC the stuff I bought was so pretty aaaaaaAAA

ALSO ALSO people liked my cosplay and I was so happy. There were a lot of Yor cosplayers so I mostly stuck with Thoma for the weekend and 🥺 attention from women 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 loved it 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 I wasn't expecting ppl to ask for my ig but it happened a couple of times so I panicked and gave my art IG and TURNED OUT THEY WERE ARTISTS TOOO so that was cool!!! There were a lot of amazing cosplayers and I got too shy to ask for pics But I WISH I DID BC....THERE WERE AMAZING KUROO AND KENMA....AND XIAO AND ITTO I M DJDJDHDHDHDH and a couple of Thomas were like "AYYYY THOMA" Hehe...I didddddd get a pics with a lot Ayaka and Ayato ones too uwuOH AND CHILDE

There were def a few guys that tried to act like...idk 😭😭 so weird when I was cosplaying as Yor and just said the most random shit to me and all I did was laugh uncomfortably gjfjdjdjsj

Artist alley was crowded as fuck though and the people were SOOOO pushy at some points. Like not even saying excuse me or anything...I got cut in line a lot and I don't like to be confrontational but the people I went with were def getting annoyed.

Overall though I a had a lot of fun. I keep seeing people say people weren't checking vaccine cards and stuff but at least the first day they were pretty diligent about checking them, and people would boot you out if you didn't have a wristband signifying you were confirmed already.

AX is notorious for the crowds and especially after 2 years this was gonna be the worst one for that. I'm probably gonna go back next year bc it's one of the ones that I enjoy the most like there's SOOOO many amazing cosplayers on a much bigger scale than a lot of other cons and the artists that get in are so talented. I'm REALLY hoping I can grab a table FOR SURE next year 😭 WELL SEE YEAH idk if you read this far wow I am sorry LMAO

i just got here so i wanna test things out, probably won't keep this post in the long run but maybe i'll forget this is up or something idk

apparently i only recently discovered decent anatomy/proportions and that was via mostly guesture poses

i have recently been shown the way of shapes and im watching a lot of character design and redesign stuff along with my hermitcraft

i never really got into miraculous ladybug but for some reason watching people tear into it and redesign the characters tends to pull me in like a moth to a light

it's funny bc i have no investment in what people are complaining about but im interested in how they make things better/different

also taking notes on what not to do so

i wish i could draw my characters, a good chunk are robots and hard to design, 90% of the rest of them are homemade fantasy races/species i have to actually conceptualize, and then the humans are kinda just there

bc i do have humans there just arent a ton bc i must make everything hard for myself

dw its fun for me it just takes a long time to actually hammer out

i wanna talk more about them but im thinking of better ways to actually organize my thoughts that just vomiting words on a page that no one will see anyway

it's gonna take some tome to figure out this place

maybe ill make separate blogs for original and fandom stuff idk ill explore the features more and get back to

So! We wanted to show what we looked like in the mindscape, and decided to start with the Chaos Quintet!

All 5 have wings based on hummingbird wings, and their wings are shown on the left pic!

Smith! He's our Green, and has 2 forms which are seen above, and yes his body is translucent in his default form.

Vio! Or Berry! They have the cracks because they were the closest to Shadow when the mirror was broken.

Shadow! Or Shade! They also have cracks from the mirror shattering!

Blue! Or Blueberry, or Hammer! He swaps between the names a lot, and his default form makes him look like a ice sculpture with water hair. He also radiates cold like opening a freezer in summer

Red! Or Cherry! She has a little bit of vitiligo and his default form has magma in the cracks which acts like a really warm oobleck mixed with sticky slime in texture. They radiate heat like Hammer radiates cold!

Please don't steal our art, but learn from it instead. -🔨❤️😈

Chains lol

He's worked several times throughout the last couple of years, his voice over work for an animated film, nightwatch 2, 2 tv shows filmed and aired, two unknown projects one in Scotland (she visited him briefly) and one in Spain. Short film Pic. So it's not like he's been lumping around idle without work lol. He was filming something else in DK about 2 weeks ago, unknown new project. Also worked on his GF's podcast and been on several podcasts.

Now he's got a visa to probably work in NYC like he mentioned in an interview..for an international film.

Bali and Lebanon trips for G2N & RC.

Beyonce concert and Smukfest (article said Johanne was visiting family or friends during Smukfest). Plus a boys trip in Dublin. This is off the top of my head. He travels a lot. Lol Other concerts, even with his Dad.

So I'm not sure why some people are acting like he doesn't leave the house or his girlfriend keeps him chained at her side. That's clearly not what's happening. 😂😂😂😂 that's the new/latest irrational angle I guess. Or that she's keeping him from work or friends for some imagined reason haters imagined her to have. Just bc you don't see instagram posts of him with friends doesn't mean he's not been with friends. Just bc neither person posted them at Christmas together doesn't mean they didn't see each other at all ( their second Christmas together), doesn't mean they didn't have their "couples Christmas" and exchange gifts lol. And how are you going to use what you didn't see as a way to make up a story that she's manipulating him by withholding her presence. or gets mean when she doesn't get her way (lol random irrational assumption). Or keeping him from work and friends.😂😂 I mean really are you kidding me? 😂😂😂😂😂 this is imo, highly irrational.

Maybe they only show what they want to show, on socials, and are private with the rest (they seem more guarded with posts now). They're basically already living together (clothes in closet was posted so educated guess) but we don't see every minute of their days or nights. But again, educated guess, they're having sex. We won't see it ever ( good bc that's extra private) but I'm gonna guess that they are. To hammer my point home about the just bc you don't see it on Instagram doesn't mean it's not happening. Consider work schedules and real life for all involved, consider also when you're in a relationship you will spend a large portion of time with your partner. This is normal. Like when people have kids and unless you visit them you might not see them for awhile. Lol

This doesn't make him weak, it doesn't say anything bad about him at all. It also doesn't say anything bad about her either. Why is he seen as weak or a victim of some kind? It doesn't make sense. Why does she have to a villain to some people? And not just a normal couple with extraordinary jobs? They seem pretty solid even though he travels a lot. But she's an actor too, so she would understand the travel aspect of the job/life.

Sidenote the "hands" video, her face is so adorably sweet looking in the video. They're cute together. The tickling was funny. 😊😊😊
