Stop the genocide!!!

i tried to make a political cartoon- it doesn't have as much symbolism as i wanted to, but im pretty proud of this!

i got the inspo from a convo me and my sister had. she would always try to counter my points with "well, i dont live there" "its not gonna affect me" or "i cant do much, im just a kid anyway".

and all of this isnt true.

You can slow the funding! Protests exist, especially the peaceful ones. You dont even have to protest, boycott brands and businesses who support this bullshit. Make homemade stuff to get your damned fix.

and if you refuse to do so, that just lets the whole world know you'd rather drink a damn lavender latte than spare 5 children of early death.

everything that is happening will concern everyone on the globe, especially america, because this determines whether or not we fight for our cause or let history repeat itself.

our ancestors, proud activists, and modern day people haven't and won't work this hard only for us to fail. Or even worse, ignore it and make it grow. it goes against human morals, it makes many groups of people get hate, and it shows how low people consider the bar for basic human decency, if that.

whats gonna happen to everyone, and i mean everyone, is chaos. (more than it already is- but you get my point)

if a tiny democracy, who cant even consider themselves a country better yet a state, can take down millions of people, kill off generations, fulfill an ethnic cleansing, ignore protests and collect proper fundings to do so, record and dehumanize said people, make billions of people watch this with an evil grin and a shitty bag of reasons,

who else do you think is gonna try?

I posted this before but tumblr was being weird so I had to delete and then repost ^^’

So im curious about what R, Y, B, and G could have seen in the black hole during episode 30.

what do we know about the void?

- we know it’s mostly empty, except for the individual and a place/symbol of emotional importance to the person.

A good example of this is mango’s void, where it’s only him and an empty house, a place where mango spent most of his time planning vengeace and festering in rage and grief.

- usually the subject of the void has to deal with some sort of regret or inner struggle. For mango, it was his empty lonely house, with only himself and the angry violent pictures scribbled on the wall.

For purple, it was a completely dark and empty space, with the only light highlighting them and the petals falling around them. A reminder that they are completely alone, no father around and a dead mother.

- each of these voids/spaces are likely places where their deepest and most hurtful thoughts manifest their surroundings. And it’s hard to break through to these spaces, but it can be done, as mango demonstrated.

So, given what we know, what would RGBY’s voids be like? They were also in the void for a brief period of time before second was able to save the day, so what would they have seen?

Of course it’s all hypothetical, but I think it presents an interesting way to try and visualize and analyze each of the CG’s flaws and insecurities, and how they might find hope in response to that.

Reblog/share your theories!! I think this is very interesting. I’ll put my personal ideas under the cut, but go wild :)

Red: I think Red’s void would be about their character flaw of rushing into situations without thinking/letting others know about mews plan, and how their friende get hurt as a result of that. It could also be about how Red’s feelings have been continually dismissed by the CG (but specifically Second) and how Red feels because of that.

Blue: xer space would involve guilt over indirectly causing harm to his friends. Between the many accidents with potions, the nether incedents, the witch event, and starting off the S3 arc, he probably feels like xes done a lot of damage. Maybe he is afraid that they will get hurt/reject xem because of this.

Yellow: in past episodes, yellow’s power in situations has come from knowledge. For example, theres the entire arcade game episode, the lucky block episode, redstone, learning to fight with a command block. Yellow always wants to learn more, and the result of that curiosity and intelligence is the ability to help/give to yellows friends. So it would stand to reason that yellow would be very insecure and helpless in a situation where yellow couldn’t learn anything. There is no knowledge to be gained, no secret code or strategy to find a way out. But yellow can see the CG being hurt, and yet yellow is powerless and can’t help them. I imagine yellow would feel absolutely helpless.

Green: im.. honestly not too sure about green? It feels like there’s a lot to work with, and not enough to work with. I dont feel i have a good enough grasp on his character/insecurities. Some possible ideas i had were the amount of times green has died, or greens flaw of being a bit too show-offy. Green is definetly one I would like to hear everyone’s thoughts about!

And i know second didn’t get voided, so its even more hypothetical, but i think if second DID fall into the black hole, their space would either be about their powers (which would be confusing and distressing for him), about all their friends dying again like in the showdown and second being powerless to stop it, or maybe even himself being the reason its friends are hurt. However I also think second would be the first to break out of its void, and the first to get to their friends and bring them together, and tell them how much he cares for them, no matter what the void showed.

Anyways yeah thank you for reading!! Just some thoughts I had :) im curious to hear everyone’s theories!

if you’re wondering why I’m having to repost this, or why you were perhaps previously following me but no longer are, please refer to this post. I was able to retrieve this thanks to the very lovely friends who have relentlessly sifted through tumblr archives to recover them, thank you all so much!! ♡

Draco x Plus Sized!reader

- first of all, it needs to be said that Draco doesnt care about your weight at all, unless it’s having some effect on you or your health, he thinks you’re beautiful just because you’re you

- he can pick you up and spin you around regardless of how heavy you may think you are, he may be a skinny boi™️ but he is much stronger than he looks, and he will practically brag about the lack of his own strength that he needs to lift you off the ground

- in his eyes, you are absolutely perfect in every possible way that you could be

- it’s only when he finds you crying outside of a classroom one day, and you confess the truth of the cruel comments you receive from people on a daily basis about your weight, that Draco understands the route of your insecurity

- and oh my Merlin, does he plan to fix that

- for the rest of that day, he stays planted at your side, and asks you to point out any person who has said something cruel to you about their weight, and then asks for you to explain what exactly they said to you

- if their comment didnt hurt you too much, they receive a death glare from him, and a glade from Draco Malfoy is enough to send any student into hiding

- but if their comment is even painful for you to repeat to your lovely boyfriend? Draco doesnt care what trouble he’ll get into, he pins them up against the wall - lifting them off the ground by their robes if they happen to be smaller than him - and proceeds to bombard them with threats of hexing if they ever give you so much as a dirty look

- after that, you never received a single cruel comment again

- but that is not to say the damage they had left you with had disappeared with their comments, and Draco did his absolute best to build your confidence up

- anytime he saw you walking towards him, he would throw a hand to his heart and stumble into a wall dramatically, and stay there until you were in front of him, then he’d say something daft like

“I have to hold my heart in place or it’ll start running towards you, neither me nor it can quite grasp just how beautiful you are.”

- and other times, when he walked past you he would hype you up and check you out with not an ounce of subtlety, making a perfect symbol with his hand and biting his lip at you

- also take into consideration that he would do both of those things, even when with his friends

- introducing you to Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy was no concern to Draco whatsoever, but you were very worried

“Draco, what if your parents dont think that Im...right, for you.”

“Do you think I care for you so little that my parents disapproval would make a difference?”

“That’s lovely of you to say, but I would prefer to be liked by your family.”

“I know love, and you will be. There isnt anything about you that they could possibly dislike, and with the amount I’ve spoken to them about you, they practically know you already.”

- needless to say, Draco was right. his parents are much like him, in that unless your weight was a cause for concern in regards to your health, they would address it, and even then they would voice their worries as kindly and quietly as they could

- they welcomed you with open arms and smiling faces, keen to meet you after all Draco had told them about you. and of course, you all got along perfectly

- you being plus sized does not change the fact that you are truly a good person with a heart of gold, and the Malfoy’s are not blind to this. they do not treat you any differently to any person who is not plus sized, they would not view you as inferior for your weight, and they would never use such a thing against you

- overall, Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy love you because you are wonderful and you make Draco happy, your size does not affect either of those factors of you, and so it is not something they view as any differen to any other person

- and Draco doesnt care about you being plus sized, all he cares about is that you’re happy, healthy, and still in love with him

- which, let’s be real, you always will be

I am the only person on this site who uses this tag, so blacklisting it will keep my posts, and only my posts, from coming up when you search the Punch Out tag. You can also block this blog entirely if you don't want to see any other posts from me. Materfred - important and vital. Ship between Manfred von karma from ace attorney and mater from cars. I wrote several fics. I reskinned the entirety of my immortal for them. I made a carrd for them (materfred.carrd.co). They are somewhat known because my tags abt them on a post got screenshotted and then the OP of that post blocked me (entirely fair it was a plague upon their notes)

The metis cykes obsession - metis cykes is a minor character in the fifth ace attorney game who has been dead for 7 years by the time the story starts and she has no dialogue. There are seven pictures of her in existence and two of those are of her corpse. I loved her I LOOOOVED her it was like spiritual, I've kinned for fun on and off but I was LITERALLY her IRL for like 6 months. To this day my feelings on aurametis are staunch like stone

The lamp blog - I used to have a huuuge hateboner for clay terran as a symbol of fandom latching onto background men instead of woman characters, and, spurred on by my friend group at the time, I made a blog called yourfavehasfewerficsthanthislamp where I just compared the number of fics XYZ character had next to the number of fics terran had. It was an obsessive hate-cycle which did nothing to actually uplift female characters and the methodology was intensely flawed (shoutout to the 'neopets has fewer fics than terran' submission - I mean, yeah, but I feel like you can't use that to say he is more popular than fuckin neopets. Or that neopets is a poor neglected soul that needs more fanfiction written about it) but hey at least I got reposted to Twitter

i'm running towards them. why am I running towards them?

it seems my perplexity is just driving me more, because right now i'm sprinting towards them as they calmly walk towards a door randomly placed in the middle of the void.

why is it there? has it always been there?

their hand reaches for the door knob as i near them, and before I know it, the door is shut in front of my face.

my hand pushes my hair up as i frown in confusion, my eyes scanning the door before darting down at the door knob. instinctively, i shake the door knob in an attempt to open it.

it's locked. it doesn't even have a keyhole, like it's meant to be shut locked forever unless it's opened once again by the other side.

the other side.

i shuffle my way towards the other side of the door. nothing.

i lean my head against the wooden door–giving up, in a sense. what else is there to do?

i twist my body around so i face nothing but the dark, empty void layed upon my eyes.

why did they leave me?

it feels like i'm starting over again. it feels like i just reset my life again.

however, instead of opening my eyes to a fresh start, i seemed to have closed them; yet it feels like they've been closed forever.

then i open them again, and i see me–fourteen year-old me handing them a bouquet of their favorite flowers. from that moment on i felt as if i had a glimpse of eternity.

a glimpse of eternity, however–t'was not fully seen. it was false, it was a lie. a glimpse wasn't enough.

thank you so much for the masato post bc the way people talk about him makes me Seethe. i understand finding him and interesting as a character but i think a lot of people are a little too willing to gloss over the fact he was very much meant to be a representation of the kind of power hungry men that lead nationalist movements/get big in conservative politics? i know people are quick to remind others that very few yakuza characters are good people, but i think there’s a notable difference between guy in the mob who beats people up and a character that’s canonically writing policies to fuck over immigrants. idk.

aoki is literally more of a Literary Concept than a character to shake around like a fandom dolly. yall dont even think about the repercussions of a TransGay Fascist. of how he would navigate his sexuality and identity while still pushing for ppl like him to be exterminated

you literally just make him transgay who kissies daigo to make him "fun" and for what? you know who could be transgay kissing daigo? ichiban is right there. but something about the representation of nationalism in japan *compelled* you to try and redeem it?? analyse that

like, they clearly dont like him either bc they write n draw him OOC as fuck. i dont get it. and the fact that the *oda apologist* of all ppl is defending them should rly be a wake up call lol

okay rant post.

when i realize i have the objectively best music taste and aestehtic visuals for hbo spn even though im two years late, its worth it. man ive seen some playlists and “aesthetic” images for “hbo” spn with lots of likes and reposts and im thinking like. these images are grainy and not even the same filter or really dont make sense. the playlists are the worst. literally theyll be like “because hbo spn is grimey and punk” and then the first song is olivia rodrigo. just smash my head with a brick please.. like none of the songs make sense. theres like fucking billie eyelash and mother mother on so many playlists…… do we even watch the same show…. hbo spn is literally the first 5 season aesthetics, just these raw contrasted close scenes of random cryptic objects and symbolism. the music is the first season and how they had a bunch of underground 2000s metal like so underground you cant even find most of it on spotify and if so they have like less than 100 monthly listeners. LITERALLY THE SHIFTER EP. hbo spn still gotta be strictly pre-2005 songs as much as possible. theres a few songs i have in mind that are more modern that i might just try to slip in if i dont go until their year. shhh its my universe. Someone Else’s Bed by Hole actually came out in 5 years before the release date because i needed it to. in this alternate universe dean lives up to this scary accurate song that definitely came out 2002. didnt come out 2010. what are you talking about.

and the fact that ive only JUST now found one other person who agrees that they cant be SUPER body modded because… theyre fucking fugitives for gods sake. their fits in the og show are actually genius bc they look like the most basic white men ever. hbo spn just needs a little flair and unique-ness. they can still go out in public wearing jackets to cover up tattoos or dress up as feds and put on makeup to cover up scars and a few stray accidentally badly placed tattoos you know. and when their not hunting or doing something where they could get caught, hell, give them some punk jackets with patches galore. they still dye their hair but not crazy colors, or maybe they do like what if sam gets arrest and they put out an warrant for someone with bleach blonde hair but also have another warrant for sam with black hair at the same time, okay, easy, go green for a while or something. idk.
