Not really. Anna isn't much of a pet person, Alliance life didn't really allow for one and even before that her parents were too busy to take care of a pet plus twins. In Andromeda Scott gets a pyjack and Anna finds it somewhat cute.

Queen Anne's Lace, Daffodils, Dandelions

7) Does your OC have a favorite and least favorite food?

Anna doesn't care for winter squashes, she doesn't like the texture. Her favorite is anything noodles, easy to carry in a bowl/eat while trying to catch up on reports/etc

11) What actor or voice actor do you see best playing as your OC?

I haven't really given this much thought for Anna only because I mainly use her CC when getting fanart created. That being said, I could see Agam Darshi being a faceclaim for Anna.

21) Any embarrassing secrets your OC demands you take to the grave but you will share anyway?

Her first time snowboarding, she had a hard time finding her balance and went ass over teakettle right in front of a girl she was crushing on. Face full of powder, Anna managed to get up without too much trouble but that ended up having the girl ask if she was alright and Anna managing to flirt (somewhat) successfully with her. They ended up going out on a few dates so it worked out in the end.

Then when the Tempest first landed on Aya she was so excited to explore that she tripped over her own feet and nearly ate grass. But she managed to right herself and endured the jokes from the crew, brushing it off with a crack of her own.

23) Is your OC religious and what religion? If it’s a fictional religion for your story please give a summary of the core teachings of their faith?

Not really. Alec and Ellen weren't super religious, their mom more because of her science background and Alec just because, so they never really encouraged it with Scott and Anna. They did try to teach them to be nice but firm, to stand up for what was wrong but also be kind, and to help those in need though.

25) The name you chose for your OC, why did you chose it?

I wanted something that I could shorten, that Anna would only be called when she was in trouble (which ended up being A Lot). At the time I was reading War Storm by Victoria Aveyard where one of the characters has the nickname 'Nanabel' and that stuck with me so I decided to go in that direction and came up with Annabel, eventually deciding that she had a vague US Southern/Hispanic background.

Black, Silver, Dark Blue

5) Any animals you most associate with your OC?

Her mabari Griffins. She's had Griffins since he was a puppy and wouldn't know what to do if he wasn't in her life. She dares anyone to tell her that she can't have a Marbari in the castle.

6) Any flowers you associate with your OC?

Roses obliviously :P but also sunflowers and snow drops.

7) Does your OC have a favorite and least favorite food?

Rose is a fan of bread, especially if it's fresh from the oven. Also once Zevran introduces her to Antivan dishes, she's a big fan of the spices. Doesn't really care for "travel rations" (aka hardtack & cheese) but knows that when they're on the road there's not much choice.

11) What actor or voice actor do you see best playing as your OC?

I've fancasted Gemma Arterton as Rose, specifically from Hansel & Gretel: Witchhunters because she had the vibe I was looking for in the movie (but with redder hair).

21) Any embarrassing secrets your OC demands you take to the grave but you will share anyway?

Rose is somewhat afraid of the dark, she needs a candle burning in her room once the sun starts setting and can't fall asleep if it's completely dark.

23) Is your OC religious and what religion? If it’s a fictional religion for your story please give a summary of the core teachings of their faith?

Rose had to sit through Chantry services while at Highever, it was expected of her as the Teryn's daughter, and only loosely followed the teachings of the church. Then Highever got razed and she turned her back on Andraste and the Chantry, angry and confused at how she could let that happen since her parents had been devout followers of Andraste. She doesn't belittle Leliana for her beliefs, but at the same time she doesn't try to go back to the Chantry and the Maker.

Once she becomes Queen, Rose knows that she has to at least attend one service a week, but at the same time she tries to find an excuse not to go if she can help it.

25) The name you chose for your OC, why did you chose it?

This was before I fully fleshed out my Cousland Warden and wanted to just jump into the game. A friend on here had been talking about Titanic/Doctor Who and Rose so that was at the forefront of my mind so I went with that.

8 Videogames to Get to Know Me

1. Mass Effect Trilogy - faithful adoration for many aspects of each game so I’ll just pack them in a single slot lol every time someone talks about suicide missions, I urge them to play the second game. The score, the narration, the preparations, the stakes... it’s just perfect, really. And the DLCs??? Lair of the Shadow Broker omgg seeing Liara for the first time after [spoiler] and the way they remind you the real face of Cerberus while you fight [spoiler] in Overlord?? BRING DOWN THE SKY!! Also the ugly crying that Citadel caused ;A; - Saren best villain ever, I will die on that hill 👏 2. Machinarium - must replay it because I don’t remember much about it and it’s a shame because it was my main artistic influence back in the late 00s 3. Dragon Age Origins - mooom ali is making favorites again DD: seriously tho, the other two games wished they had its depth << 4. Pokemon Silver - my late childhood and early adolescence were spent on this game. I still know that specific pokedex by heart lol  5. The Battle for Wesnoth - and this is probably the only strategic game I’ll ever mention because it’s not really my genre :’D it’s totally free and you can download/make your own scenario. Super cool! 6. Ducktales for GameBoy color - I think it was distributed by Capcom? I’ve spent entire days trying to beat that game omg its soundtrack is amazing too 7. Stardew Valley - look at all these brown chickens! 8. Yes, Your Grace - “a medieval monarch nightmare sim” is probably the most fitting description lol my heart was so broken at the end I had to sit down and watch the paint on the walls dry with a drink on my hands

Revka and Zevran:

12. Do they have a difficult time when separated from each other, or are they fairly independent?

I would say both Revka and Zevran operate on a similar field when it comes to time separated. They're quite capable of being independent, seeing to their individual matters and going about their day to day needs - but there's always a piece of them that feels as though its missing. They don't HAVE to be around one another at all times, but if either were given their druthers they would be at each other's side far more often than not. There's a lot of hard won trust, respect and reliance between them, and I don't think there's another person for either of them (with perhaps a slight caveat for Revka with Ceral, but certainly not in everything) who's insight and opinions matter more. Not to mention they're absolutely bonkers in love with each other, regardless of how shit they are at saying it lol.

...This of course makes my canon timeline for them rather unfun when they're unwillingly separated for five-ish years because of the chaos of the Mage-Templar war and aren't 100% sure the other is still alive, but that's some angst for another day.

18. How do they care for each other when one of them is wounded/sick?

Revka is very no-nonsense when it comes to illness. The first sign of sniffles means she's pulling out the respiratory draughts minimum, as well as the lemon honey tea and clear broth soups. She'll tolerate Zevran being up and about for the likes of a head cold - and let's be honest, Zev is quite content to let her dote on him for a day or two without much protesting. Anything too much more than that though, and he's barred from leaving their bed. Particularly if it comes with fever. She was the one who cared for her parents through the illness that took them, and she's seen first hand how quickly fever can take a turn for the worst. No games, no messing around - you get into bed and you rest, damn it.

Zevran is not nearly so insistent as Rev when she's ill. He learned very early on in their knowing one another that it's better to let her reach her limit on her own than try to argue with her stubbornness, regardless how hypocritical she might be being. (She's FINE, damn it, she only got dizzy and fell over once)

Once she's accepted reality and is either unwilling or unable to fight him on it any more, she's put into bed and stays there. Zevran is likely to join her as well, equal parts wanting to make certain she doesn't try to push herself too much as well as liking the excuse of taking some time to lounge in bed together. When she finally sleeps he'll slip away, and by the time she's awake again there's sets of vials from her brother waiting on the bedside table along with a pitcher of cold water, tea and something gentle on her stomach to eat that he's found on offer at the tavern. Much as Zev enjoys cooking, he tends to be heavy handed with the spices, and that doesn't bode well for a sick stomach.

25) Favorite DA:I place?

The Emerald Graves. The Graves are green and beautiful, mostly unspoiled by red lyrium, and not filled with broken or burning houses. The area also has a number of side quests that are long and complex but easy to overlook, such as the Chateau d'Onterre haunted house mystery (which is a great example of environmental storytelling) or the Knights' Tomb (which, regrettably, can only be completed after you attend Empress Celene's anxiety-inducing party) allows you to fight undead, learn about Dalish history, and right an ancient wrong by giving the Dalish access to their peoples' tomb again. (You can also give the Chantry access, but why would you want to? Fuck the Chantry.) And there are hidden quests around every corner. I haven't found all of them, even now.

The Hissing Wastes come in second due to the lost thaig of Kal Repartha ("a place where we may meet in peace") and the Tomb of the Paragon Fairel.

39) Creepiest moment in-game?

That first glimpse of Hawke's mother Leandra, after the necromancer serial killer has...operated on her. Answered in a LOT more detail here.

62) A character you think deserves more fan love?

It's a tossup between Carver Hawke, Sera, and Shale.

They're deadpan snarkers who aren't afraid to complain about the player characters' bad ideas. They're all fiercely protective of the people they care about while being very bad at expressing how they feel. All of them are suffering from multiple traumas while trying to hide that they were traumatized at all.

All three endured the Fifth Blight: Carver fought at Ostagar, fled Lothering with his family, and lost his twin sister to a darkspawn (an ogre); Shale fought by the side of the Hero of Ferelden to end the Fifth Blight; and Sera, as a child, lived through the Battle of Denerim, when the darkspawn invaded the city. Their stories are ones of loss--loss of home, loss of family, loss of safety, loss of self-esteem, loss of memories, loss of identity.

They're good people. Flawed, but good.

Specifically the June tarot card. I don't know what it is but its muted colors and scratchy textures have captivated me. Somehow you got a digital piece to look like an actual scratched up collectible card someone scanned and posted online? Also it's just a really solid design, I wouldn't question it for a second if I saw this on a book cover or something.

Fanart rec #2: @ederteylegc

For this list I am asking myself "which fanart pieces live in my head rent free" and no one should be surprised that for Pillars of Eternity my answer is Edér fanart. It's just. I love it when a piece of art conveys an idea in shapes and colors and this one does Just That. I really like how it shows The Parallels and I like the color scheme and I like how this just straight up looks like a comic book page.

Listen, I have to mention See Fire, And Go Towards Light.

I did not expect to like this fic as much as I do. Like, I expected to like it a normal amount, as in "cool, I get to read about the journeys of my mutual's blorbo! this will be fun to tune into every now and then".

I was not ready for how much I ended up liking the writing itself and the way the main character is written? Her POV as a Tranquil is more distant, but she makes interesting observations about how other people behave around her, and her non-Tranquil POV is just really lovable. The word "immersive" is used for basically anything these days but that's how I would describe the writing in this.

Fic rec #2: @solas-backpack-mug

First of all, I should probably mention that solas-backpack-mug also has an excellent selection of Pillars of Eternity fanart (especially of their ocs Rangi and Asaria, which are technically kind of the same person, it's complicated) in a variety of mediums and fresh home-grown memes.

That being said, I am going to recommend this short fic about Asaria's death, just because I really liked it. If you know the plot of POE1, it's a fun read that does justice to Thaos' whole ominous manipulative deal, and kind of feels like a flashback you would get from touching a relic that used to belong to the unfortunate POV character.

Answer: They are pretty powerful. I don't want to spoil too much but let's say they have many peeps around the world who can use magic by different means : ). Usually though, they don't use such peeps unless they have to like fighting against other magical beings or magical users who are a threat to the world.

2. How would Philip react to his og death and his dragon form in the original series

Answer: He would be shocked that Luz's friends killed him in such a merciless way and would be shocked at himself that he allowed himself to turn himself into a dragon and probably ashamed too.

3. What are the ages for sister Lilian,Luna, and Father Francis?

Answer: Father Francis is about 40, Lilian is 33, Luna is 56

I also think he'd get into motorcycles when he finds out there aren't dragons around anymore and misses the adrenaline rush from flying!

Skz as Mythical creatures

Bang Chan - Werewolf. There's nothing to question here about this. Man literally gives so much wolf vibes that writers on Tumblr use wolf memes for his smaus. But also werewolves have been used throughout history to provide a sense of wisdom combined with misinterpretation. Wisdom, in the form of living and going through so much in their moon drunk lives. And like is that not Chan?

Lee Minho: A warlock. Warlocks are basically wizards who get their magic from evil sources. They conjure magic called 'blue magic' aka evil magic from shady sources and repay that debt with their own blood. They have been known to help people from time to time but only the people who need it the most, like a raped woman who no one believes. Oh also they are known to have cats as their companions! And they live very secluded lives usually in forests and grow mushrooms. My brain is dying thinking about evil warlock Minho cause my standards are so fucked up

Seo Changbin: A dragon. Listen LISTEN TO ME. I chose a dragon for Changbin, because they have many myths of false appearance. When I first got into skz, I really though our Binnie was the most serious person in this group. But then I saw how those hips moved, and I was like 'oh so he's Barbie and Shakira combined and put into one man'. Dragons are known as fierce creatures who protect the gold that they hoard and destroy villages, but how much of that is true? Mostly they do it to protect themselves and the gold which they have rightfully earned. Also they are extremely loyal and friendly once you understand them and don't harm their loved ones (yes even dragons have loved ones)

Hwang Hyunjin: Selkie. Selkies are basically mermaids, who originate from Scotish folk tales (trust me they are VERY popular here). They turn into seals in water and turn back into human if daylight or moonlight touches them, Aka if they come on land. They are very dual creatures, being pretty and kind to most humans, especially women, but they can also be the most savage beasts when it comes to men who have corrupted for their own pleasure. Their siren songs are very captivating and they are known to make art out of conch shells.

Han Jisung: A shapeshifter. Han Jisung is truly a puzzle. Like man could be intense babygirling one moment and then two seconds later literally kill all of us with wavy hair, sweaty face and those fingers playing the guitar finger kink go brr. Jisung is more fitting to the shapeshifter brand when you realise that the humans who used to be good at doing everything and not crack under intense pressure were awarded this shapeshifting power by the Gods. So yeah our fourth gen ace would definetly be a shapeshifter.

also tiktok algorithm is a thing, we know jk follows all hybe groups (including le sserafim), he likes memes and funny videos, he likes alcohol (especially highball), so it's not that far off to say that it might just have showed up on his feed (like i'll call out a solo on twt/x and suddenly my 'for you' section is filled with fcking pjms or jjks 😞, and i then have to spend a couple minutes blocking and clearing my tl), and not necessarily him looking it up bc he wants to fck her or is an obsessed fan (saw some chaewon solos and fearnots (including some big fan accounts 😐) say he's chaewon biased which might have led to kpop stans losing their sh*t)

also i found out chaewon fans (gg stans in general) have a tendency to be overprotective (some guy gave her a rose as part of a scripted thing on a variety show (i think??) which chaewon knew about and agreed to do and they (fans) lost it and threatened the guy to the point he came out and said he's no longer going to interact with female idols), and sometimes i get it bc south korea isn't the best place for women and even less in the idol industry (especially with the amount of grown ass male stans of ggs), like even when le sserafim on this variety show where one of the hosts has a reputation of messing with young female japanese idols (member of twice i think?) and he was making weird comments towards kazuha (she was 19 and is japanese) and every corner of kpop stan twt (including army) were upset and protecting her
