The real Arya VS HBO’s Arya. No hate towards Maisie Williams. I have a feeling part of the reason she did not like the role she played was because of how her character was written to be so toxic, as well for constantly wearing the same drab outfit and with dirt smothered on her face constantly for like 4 seasons which can really hurt someone’s self esteem. It’s a tragic thing of what the show did to Arya. A serious insult to the fans and character. I’ll never forgive dumb and dumber. I think about that scene of her and Gendry (s8 ep 2) and more and more I start to suspect it was kinda rapey ngl. Like she just took advantage of him. Yeah he “wanted” it in the end, but like, she didn’t even ask for consent. It just came off so fucking aggressive. I hate how they made her all “dommy mommy” and kinda implied that stupid Hollywood trope of “hahaha man getting raped is funny”. Like bro, in the books, Arya constantly gets threatened by disgusting creeps and rapists. She literally has ptsd from being a child slave and having to work with murderers and RAPISTS. The show was a complete assassination on her character, and as a victim of abuse personally, I take offense to it. The show has a huge fetish with rape and disempowering females and making them do horrific things. It’s disgusting. No wonder Masie hated the role.

there's this one vid on mark's channel where he, ethan, and this guy named tyler have a gingerbread house contest. Tyler makes an actually decent gingerbread house while mark and ethan fail to have theirs stand up. So they work together and somehow end up with a gingerbread house that is COMPLETELY CRUSHED. they manage to just add a lump of frosting and some sprinkles and are like "it's like chips and dip!!!" and then when the judges come over, they take turns explaining it, word by word, and say something like "our gingerbread house is better than tyler's because it's made with love" and then they hug. they end up tying with tyler somehow. i can also talk about the one high-production youtube channel they made but i feel that this drives the point better.

This is just dumb vs dumber, I swear.

We have a service button in my department for when customers come to the counter when the person assigned to that department is away from the counter doing go-backs, online orders, etc.

The button for some fucking reason gives the same alert message 3 times on our radios before automatically turning off. (You can probably see where I'm going with this)

BUT if you press the button twice or 3 times, it gives the alert 3 times per 1 push. So the same fucking message could play 9 times even if the employee is already in the department helping the customer. Also, customers will for some fucking reason keep pressing the button even though I'm ACTIVELY helping them, despite me specifically telling them not to and/or letting their little mistakes press the button over and over.

Bonus: there's no way to turn the alert off, you just have to wait it out.

SO I keep making signs that say something to the effect of "press button only ONCE" yet my braindead manager keeps removing the signs and refusing to make an "official" one.

So today I just fucking moved the button out of customer reach "accidentally". Fuck this shit.

Hey guys lately I’m in a big Moriarty and BSD brainrot and my big brain has been WORKING over both of them.

I often see people comparing William and Fyodor and I mean sure, I don’t know Fyodor enough to tell you how much they might be similar, but then who is Sherly compared to ? I always see dazai, but I think that y’all are just missing out on this one.

Sherlock is Ranpo. And I know I just lit up something in your brain right now if you never thought about it.

I’ll go over some points that I can think of right now to prove my point.

Both are from highly intelligent families, Sherlock had at least his brother, so Mycroft, that is astonishingly smart too, and Rampo had his parents that were absolute geniuses (information given by Fukuzawa in Untold Origins)

SO they both grew up in a very special environment where their brain developed amazingly so now they can use to it’s max capacity. They were constantly stimulated by someone even smarter than them throughout their whole life, making them the big brains they are today.

BUT ! This created an uneasiness towards society, people are dumb in their eyes and they take interest only in what is special and exceptional, and like they like to call it, in things that « deserve their attention » as intellectually superior people.

They don’t fit in because their intelligence make them eccentrics, they behave differently because they see things differently, only a few people are able to more or less manage them, and it either takes someone dumber or at least as smart as them (for Sherlock you can think of William or Mycroft vs Watson and Lestrade as for Ranpo I would say Dazai or Fyodor vs anyone in the agency tbh)

Also both of them have a way to put their mind at ease, Ranpo being sweet things and food in general and Sherlock being cigarette and sometimes violin. It probably helps they either distract themselves or on the other hand to concentrate.

Also they’re both very much autistic <3

I don't feel sorry for Edwina. She's a dumb kid, sure, but she behaved even dumber than simply being young and naive. She deluded herself that she was going to have a "love match" after repeatedly being told by Anthony that he wasn't going to love her (or him evading the question). She *begs* Kate to make sure Anthony doesn't cry off after the dinner with the Sheffields, then *blames* Kate for Edwina getting all the way to altar before deciding in her own pretty little head that she's not going through with the wedding - as though Edwina wasn't the one who decided that only the viscount would do and she'd otherwise be forever shamed as not good enough!

Oh, and that "half-sister" slam at Kate? No, honey. Everything else can go under "young and stupid" but that one goes under "mean and deliberately cruel".

So, yeah, nah. Not sorry for Edwina. She might have been a nicer character in the book, but I have no time for idiots who weep victim status because things don't go their way after they manipulate and maneuvre things but it doesn't work out.

Edwina's sole saving grace is that she gave Kate and Anthony her blessing in front of the ton. That's the biggest gesture she does in all of eight episodes (because it actually might cost her a skerrick of pride, vs comforting the King which is just what your standard decent person with a bit of compassion would do) and what keeps me from binning her as a bratty wonder.

I can see why some people like her - there are always the kind of people who want to be delicate dainty victims in life, like they're not manipulating and pushing everyone around them cause they're just the SWEETEST DARLING in the room, don'tcha know? And they want a 'get out of bad opinions scot-free' card, because they don't know how to take responsibility for their bad decisions. *shrug*
