Relevant to our convo: wedding HCs for the AUs? Do any AUs result in the Perc'ahlia elopement and/or wedding changes? Elope earlier or later, or actually spill the secret deliberately, or Sylas not crashing Dalen's Closet, etc.?

I haven't decided for all of the AUs yet! And some are.... complicated in various ways and by various things. I'm going to be ignoring the ones which are entire new universes or significantly altered timelines and instead stick to the ones which maintain some semblance of the canon timeline and tell you what changes in the Perc'ahlia's for each.

Ghost Cass - So. We all remember when and how Perc'ahlia got together, right? Namely, after slaying Vorugal. And, as we recall, they put off fighting Vorugal for a day because Percy had very recently died. He was still recovering from resurrection.

So uh. In this AU, Cass flatly refuses to let Percy go fight Vorugal and he isn't there after that fight. Percy and Vex don't even get together til the year break. I'm not sure when they get married - I don't think they elope over the year break in this AU, and I'm inclined to say they get married after Vecna. As I've still not decided every detail of the end of the final arc of this, I have no idea if Sylas makes it to Dalen's Closet or not.

Soulmate AU - So. In Soulmate AU, for various reasons, Percy and Vex get together shortly before the Briarwood Arc really kick off and then break up at the end of the Briarwood Arc for Reasons (No, I Will Not Explain; sufficeth to say, there is Angst and Irony in play).

They nonetheless get back together after Vorugal. Given that they'd broken up earlier and actually cleared the air, there is no year break break up in this AU and I'm inclined to say they don't elope? They've rushed things before, they're more willing to take their time.

Evilest AU - So uh. I'm not entirely set on how things go in this AU yet, but the leading idea currently is that they get together on their first trip to Marquet. Given events after the Briarwood Arc in this AU, they may not? Break up during the year off? But they also just as easily might, but for different reasons than I posit in my Year Break Break-Up Fic. I suspect they do still elope in this AU, however, though it still isn't fully determined.

Happier Evilest - They actually get together and start figuring things out way earlier in this AU which ... in this specific circumstance makes me inclined to say that they do elope or come very close to it in this AU?

Sylas Briarwood Gets To Live Bitches - This probably treads the closest to canon... though I don't know that they break up the same way/for the same reasons as I posit in the Year Break Break-Up Fic. I think they realise just how Briarwoods-y they can be and take a break from each other just to be sure, and I think, having confronted it, they pace themselves a bit more and possibly discuss with others (Vax for Vex, I'm inclined to say Keyleth for Percy?) their worries about the similarities. So if they do get married over the year break, I don't think they elope. And of course, in this AU, the Briarwoods are working to be better people, so no Sylas crashing any fancy re-wedding at Dalen's Closet!

Fem!Percy AU - So. Due to various things they have a really really solid friendship as a basis for their relationship here? It's not just trust it's that Vex made an active effort to reach out and make Persy feel welcome from relatively early on, and to comfort her with regards to what she saw as lingering anxieties from trauma (she was correct; Vex is very perceptive). Consequently, when they get together they've got an awful lot of trust in each other and an extremely good understanding of each other; I don't think they'd break-up over the year break. I do think that they'd get married, but it wouldn't be an elopement: I think they'd inform and invite the others.

Masc!Vex AU - Hey. Hey @blorbologist. You remember that delicious piece of angst you wrote me for my birthday? Well-versed in wishing? I am almost inclined to say that happens in this AU, though I'm not certain. It's just that Percy has a lot of baggage to unpack about certain things and while he gets with Vex on the same timeline as canon in this AU, I think Vex is perceptive enough to register his hesitancy and personal issues regarding other things and so their break up may last uh. Longer? I don't want it to; that feels very angsty and kind of unfair in this AU, so I'd like them to get back together before the decades long pause of your lovely fic, but what exactly causes-

Oh no. Oh Blorb, you give me the best ideas. *runs away cackling*

Wolf Siblings AU - So on the one hand: Percy knows he's into Vex and is in a much better place mentally and emotionally! Plus, I don't particularly want to play out like. The Vecna arc or even necessarily the whole of the Conclave Arc for this AU? I may do things like the Tomb but with a different plot? Undecided. No Glintshore because Ripley gets ripped apart by the wolf siblings. But anyway, so in this AU, Percy is being wingmanned by Vesper and is generally doing better so on the one hand some things go more smoothly!

On the other hand, having his siblings involved and invested in his romance stalls him a lot, so it ends up being on about the same timeline. There is no elopement: Percy's siblings are both nosy and all have had five years of being extremely nosy in his life - if anything, they figure out Percy and Vex are planning to get married before the two even manage to propose to each other.

Of course, given I don't intend to do the Vecna Arc in this AU, no Dalen's closet crashing for Sylas. If Percy and Vex do elope, Vesper is dragging them back to Whitestone for a formal wedding as soon as she finds where the hell they've gone.

Tiefling!Percy AU - So. Percy has some issues with the fact he's a tiefling? And one thing I have actually written ahead is him and Vex having a conversation about the possibility of children and Percy specifically asking that they wait because... well. He's a tiefling and he's not sure how he feels about that basically ever. And. Given he's a tiefling, that means good odds that their children will be tieflings - and the last thing he wants to do is have those same conflicted feelings about his own children, or for them to feel unloved.

So I think because of that they might well impulse-propose to each other, but I think they wouldn't elope. Percy's wedding to Vex ends up being the first time Whitestone's citizens get to see him fully decked out in all the shiny horn rings and such that Vox Machina give him.

Sylas may still crash Dalen's Closet, though, and now I'm wondering what impact Percy's tiefling spells might have on that.

Elaina Lives AU - You know what? Good damn question. I actually have no idea? This story is told primarily from Elaina's POV with a possible dip into Vax's - no Vex or Percy planned thus far. I genuinely have no idea.

Canon Vampercy AU - Likewise genuinely no idea. I've only got a couple of scenes down for this AU and it's more vibes than anything. I don't even know if this would end up as more than a oneshot.

Werewolf’s Soulmate AU Continuation - Reasonable odds they try to elope in this AU - however how secret that remains... I don't know. Thanks to @rightpastnowhere I had the idea that they would at some point each get half-bracelet tattoos, each getting one half that matches to the other, so it shows as a full bracelet between them? I'm wondering if, as soulmates, this ends up part of their marriage ceremony, in which case everyone finds out pretty quickly. That said, I may do it as just... something they get at some other point as a mark of their commitment to each other so - yet to be determined!

Daemon AU - I have not plotted this one far enough ahead to be sure yet. That said, you asking this has given me the delightful image of Vex's magpie daemon shattering into Dust over the ocean at Dalen's Closet so uh.

PercyRipley Soulmate AU - Percy has so many fucking hangups in this AU. After all, if even his soulmate would reject him, what kind of a person does that make him? (An infinitely better person, obviously, Ripley is the worst.)

Anyway, I think Percy's issues may fuel a year break break-up in this AU, though I'm not 100% sure on that yet. That said, seeing how much it hurts Vex would absolutely buck Percy up and they could well elope after that. I'm not certain though: I've only really got an outline down for this so far.

Syldor Isn’t A Dick AU - Vex has so many fewer issues in this AU. On the one hand this means she's in a much better place! On the other hand it means it takes her and Percy a bit longer to get together, I feel? An awful lot of Percy's actions in canon that seed their love for each other are things that remind Vex of her worth, both as an individual and to him specifically, and in this AU she doesn't need that so much? So they get together much more based on personal connection and shared interests.

That said, I think that means 1. They're less likely to break up during the year break and 2. There's good odds she and Percy elope almost as soon as possible in the year break and then end up spilling the beans to just about everyone in their thrilled-ness about it and end up getting married again during the break.

Sylas may still crash some other event at Dalen's Closet a year on though.

@supernatural-imagine-oneshot - Okay, this blog hasn't been active in a long time but the stories here are all incredible. This blog in particular is a big reason for getting me into fanfic and wanting to write it.

@supernatural-jackles - I'll happily recommend Jen's entire catalogue for your Dean and Jensen loving heart. She's not around much these days but I never read a bad fic from her and she handled writing about hard topics wonderfully.

@torn-and-frayed - Just go and do yourself a favor and read Steph's series Send The Pain Below right now. This series was one of my first forays into reading RPF and hot damn it doesn't dissapoint.

@kittenofdoomage - Rhi is pretty much on AO3 now but you can get to her stuff there. This is where I discovered ABO and fell in love! Iron Heart made my apocalyptic story loving heart so very happy and still does!

@campingmonkey - Elaina writes for not only multiple fandoms including SPN but she makes gifs too! Single handedly has saved me when I'm looking for the perfect gif but can't find it in existence. She's got another blog too @acklesmallville for all your Jason Teague needs!

@beaujensen - Because we all need more gifs of Beau Arlen in our lives

@justjensenanddean - The reason I get distracted on my timeline and forget to write sometimes lol. They got gifs, pics, keep up to date with news, cons, etc. and reblog other Jensen stuff too so yeah, this is one of my favorite blogs.

@zepskies - Zep is my new addiction. There's SPN stuff along with other shows Jensen's been in like The Boys and Big Sky. She does canon, she does AU and her writing is just damn good (aka this is the kind of writer that makes me want to step up my game). And I love how responsive she is to literally every comment, reblog, ask, etc. She sets the bar high for the rest of us!

Scanlan's childhood blanket was knitted by his mother. It was deep purple and incredibly soft with white flowers. It was made with yarn that Juniper saved up for months for.

Percy's was a little grey bunny with pink ears that one of his nannies sewed a little blue vest for.

Keyleth's was a hummingbird that was given to her when she was born by a neighbor. When she would get nervous as a kid, she would twists its wings, leading to them being more worn out and Korrin having to stitch them back on multiple times.

Vex and Vax both had little blankets that were quilted out of Elaina's scrap fabric.

Pike didn't have anything until she came to live with Wilhand, one of the first things he got her was a stuffed dog.

Grog didn't have a blanket or stuffed animal, didn't know that was a usual thing and when he came to stay with Wilhand and Pike, they got him a rhino stuffed animal that he loved more than anything.

How would you fit Vex into AoA AU, given rangers, even beastmaster rangers, arent so magical? Is she soneone pushed to the fringes (esp with Syngornian bullshit) or is she smth else entirely in this AU? Or does the more whackadoo magic of the era mean she's a superpowered magical beastmaster?

Holds up The Champion of the Matron of Ravens, Purvan Suul himself!

So I think this applies to Vex and Vax both, and I haven't thought about their background nearly as much as I should have. Hm... Well, in canon, the Matron of Ravens was originally a follower of the god of death before usurping them, given their (I quote Matt in Duskmeadow) 'tyrannical position of death and afterlife and souls'. My take on the twins is that they were followers of this god (potentially something cultural from Elaina?), except their ritual was not constructed with the intent of taking his place but just. Fucking fixing things. Making death just, and natural, and there's something in there about thinking Elaina's death was not supposed to happen and trying to reverse it.

The thing is, neither of them are great arcane practitioners. Not even high-level divine casters - definitely nothing to rival the knowledge and skill of the Raven Queen. So I figure their ritual goes completely sideways, in a way they don't understand an can't replicate, which results in Vax becoming the new god of death (potentially vulnerable, though, given the less precise manner of his ascension) and Vex being left alone and... just through how much she loves and trusts and believes in her brother being his Champion. They don't see him as her superior, she's still his twin and is trying to unfuck this mess.

I'm working backwards to your question proper, pfft: so yes, Vex is really just a Beastmaster, like Purvan Suul is implied to be (Purvan is his own can of worms, hehe). I think Purvan being a ranger is very interesting in itself, being that the Raven Queen positions her rule over death as a more accepting one, just part of how the world works, and rangers are nothing if not attunes to nature and the balance of life and death in a human context (as opposed to druids who lean more towards nature).

I think they, and Elaina, lived in one of the grounded cities (Potentially Gau Drashari? If I want Vax and Keyleth to have known eachother before his ascension). Syldor was definitely from some flying city, or one that could be hidden, or otherwise just classic mage hubris. Took on the two bastards when he thought they might have a lick of his magical aptitude, but neither were really cut out for it.

All the flying cities and magocracies are very much beyond Vex's depth, though she tries to use what she learned from her father to survive and get what she needs. But she heavily relies on Percy for this - both of them being very low-magic in a high-magic world will be very fun to explore!

perc'ahlia au where Thordak doesn't kill Elaina and burn Byorden but Elaina does fall ill. Vex and Vax, who had run away to be with her eventually write to their father for money and help. He agrees if they promise to behave this time and stay with him. They do that and stay in Syngorn and be miserable, though they eventually find some sort of jobs.

Around nine months before Whitestone would fall to the Briarwoods, the eldest de Rolo siblings and Frederick visit Syngorn. Syldor proposes marriage between Percy and Vex because marrying off half elves to humans isn't a baaad use of half-elves in Syngorn, and in return Syngorn gets some white stone and Whitestone gets some elven money and connections (or something idk). The de Rolo's are honestly fairly pleased to be able to pair someone with Percy as he was definitely the odd one.

Vex is offended. Because she didn't ask for this, and also Percy is like five years younger than her so he's sixteen and she's twenty one and she hates the idea. But Percy argues that if they get married he's been promised that he can do basically whatever he wants by his family, even leave Whitestone. Basically he and Vex agree that they will marry, move to Emon, he will study and she will bring Elaina to live with them. Vax is not happy with any of this, but Percy promises that he isn't expecting anything.

They correspond over letters and Percy and Vex begin a friendship. She think he's a dweeb, and he thinks she seems pretty cool. They mostly just talk about mundane things and Vex is pretty convinced she made the right decision.

Vex and Vax stay in Syngorn instead of leaving for the more chill Whitestone as it's closer to their mother. However, their mother gets sick and Vex and Vax are devastated and stay a while in Byorden, and Percy just isn't replying to her letters. And then they finally go back to SYngorn and learn from Syldor that Percy and the whole de Rolo family are dead from disease. Devastated by the loss of Vex's friend, with Elaina gone and nothing keeping them there, and also knowing Syldor will try all this again and neither of them wanting to go through hearbreak again, the twins leave Syngorn and don't look back.

And then because i keep going down two different avenues:

a) she meets up with Percy, realises who he is and how he isn't the dweeb who she used to know. he's changed. and because Vex has questions, they figure out his history with the Briarwoods pretty early on. Percy and Vex would probably get together soon than they did in the show, I would say around where he titles Vex in front of Syldor because that would have happened when they were married and what was that marriage? where do they stand now? So much more intense feelings early on.

or b) Vex wants to pay her respects to the de Rolo family so they slowlyyyyy make their way to Whitestone over the course of a year or something. Once there, they realise shit is fucked up and somehow manage to free Cassandra and run away with her, hoping to raise awareness of (and an army for) Whitestone and one day take revenge for Percy, not realising he's still alive, and Cass becomes a little sister to them. And then eventually they meet up and then Vex basically goes through option A but with Cassandra there.

hello Rainey my beloved!!!

for those who don't know: The Royal Archives AU is my take on The Magnus Archives AU with Eret as the Aechivist. it's heavily b2-centric and doesn't always follow Dream SMP canon but it's my AU so i'm doing what i want /lh

minor spoilers for TMA Season 1 and 2 under the cut! and also CW for a bit of body horror (skip Hannah if you don't want to see that).

Eret is our protagonist and they've just gotten a job as the Head Archivist of the Royal Archives, subdivision of The Royal Institute of Paranormal Research. The head of the Institute, Dream, personally assigns Eret to this position after the disappearance of previous Archivist, Michael McChill – and he gives them four assistants! Two of them - Wilbur and Puffy - they know from their time in the Research division, while Elaina is transferred from the library and Ranboo is a part-time worker; his studies have something to do with archiving so he's "practicing". Eret's job is to document statements of people who have allegedly found themselves in paranormal situations; in practice they're mostly recording old statements on tape while their assistants do follow-ups on those statements. Except, of course, it can't actually be that simple...

Minor characters roster I currently have:

Hannah Rose – the butterfly girl! Unfortunately, her butterflies, attracted to the flowers growing from her body, have a taste for human flesh. Fun times! (Especially for Puffy, who at one point gets attacked by Hannah.)

Karl – "tall, blond and monster" (is he actually blond? No one can tell). Has taken a liking to Ranboo... if stalking him on his way to work counts as that.

Techno – Wilbur's brother, private paranormal investigator. He shows up once in s1 to give a statement and then later in s2 for... things. Similarly to Karl, pays a lot of attention to Ranboo in those later visits for some reason. :)

Foolish – Eret's old friend! They used to live together and since then, Foolish has a cat named Goose since Eret's new place doesn't allow pets. They're still very close though.

As for others, I want Hbomb, Fundy, Niki and Phil in this AU at the very least but I'm currently thinking of how to write them in properly (perhaps Hbomb as a certain librarian...) This is all largely work in progress. Hope you like it though!

I bite... what your star wars au about?

It’s a mainly mcyt Star Wars au that takes place about the same time as the prequels, and largely after the fall of the Republic, in Star Wars canon timeline.

The main two story focuses that I have fully planned out and written follow a lot of the dsmp characters and then hermit/last life characters respectfully - I’ll give general outlines, but I have fleshed out character ideas as well as a few short fics for about everyone, as well as quite a few chapters of a major fic - it is a rather extensive au to be honest.

I’ll explain Pix specifically first, as that’s who I posted! He’s a jedi master who chose to pursue archaeology instead of the regular path to knighthood, swapping sometime shortly before becoming a master. He usually goes on explorations with ExplorCorps in the middle and outer rim of the galaxy. His psychometry abilities are very handy in his line of work, allowing him to experience echoes in the force, live through history in a unique way. He’s the first to find that tomb and guardian statue, on a planet on the far reaches of the outer rim, and is studying it around the time the galactic civil war is beginning to brew.

The first main story follows a few major dsmp players. Tommy is a padawan under Sam, who is trying to find Tubbo again and see if Sam is alive after Order 66, and learns how to deal with loss and new beginnings. Wilbur is one of the driving forces forming the rebellion, a sort of stand in for Bail Organa in a sense. Dream is the emperor, of course, while Eret is the stand in for Anakin - the one who betrays them all. Except instead of falling fully to the dark side, she regrets her decisions and tries to make things right.

A little earlier in the timeline, Scar is a jedi alongside Grian - who is a powerful force sensitive who’s barely convinced the council to let him stay with the jedi, with mysterious connections to another cult like force group and a lot of missing memories. Cub and Doc work as scientists for the republic during this time. Ren is a smuggler with a quick draw and quicker wit, though he’s running from his own past as much as he’s running from authorities. And Xisuma is a senator who stumbles into some conspiracies around the forming separatist alliance and the emperor in turn when he really shouldn’t have. They all have their role in the previous story as well, though admittedly I haven’t fitted them in how I want to yet.

I say two main stories, but again, everyone has a role, it’s an extensive AU, one I’ve written a little over 20k for in total? Quackity and Las Nevadas have their own role, there’s quite a few folks in the senate where there’s political drama, there’s mandalorian lore and culture through a few others (because I’m predictable, and Technoblade’s character is so mandalorian coded is all I’m saying). Some other streamers along the outreaches of these communities have a role as well - Corpse, Sykunno, Aimsey, Captain Sparklez, Elaina, for some specific examples.

So yeah! Please feel free to bite again lol, ask me about plot or characters (empires, hermitcraft, dsmp, what have you) and their role and place, and I will so gladly provide you with another paragraph or five on that character alone lol

1 & 2 - @iloveminecraft55 has made a Poppy Playtime AU and has been doing a lot of fanart and lore on the characters, she then decided to flesh out more on the protagonist/Player by naming him Markus.

I only fleshed him out even more like his looks, personality, and additional context to his backstory and goals after the events of Poppy Playtime.

I even came up with what the ending for him would look like as I have a sneaking suspicion that the game might end like Kraven Manor [NO SPOILERS].

I designed him and bestie chose the colors:

- Markus is in his mid 30s [with a few gray hairs] and is mostly moody and cautious, he doesn’t trust anyone easily/

- He was a former employee of Playtime Co. who was one of the last few to quit when the work environment turned hostile.

- Has a soft spot for children and wanted a family of his own.

- He/Him Pansexual

- Has worked out after quitting because he used to be weak and scrawny.

- HATES Leith Pierre.

3 - SUNRISE STATIC STORY

Couldn’t get enough of these two and had been diving more into the aesthetics, Dreamcore and Weirdcore (and probably Nostalgiacore).

So I mashed together any pngs I could find to give a view of the world Rec and Elaina (Bestie’s OC) live in.

It is fair indeed.

That "Hogwarts" AU. Like it's barely a Hogwarts AU at this point, because I've smushed together so much of my own specific HP Worldbuilding with snippets of CR canon so... it's very much it's own thing and I've got a bunch of ideas but it's also very messy? And for me to really go into what I'd be doing would involve me going into that divergent worldbuilding but... hell that's what this is for so: a person's ability to perform magic is tied to a few different things, but the essential parts are the production of magic, the transference of magic and the use of magic. Some people can produce and transfer magic around their bodies, but can't meaningfully use magic. Some people just don't produce magic but have the transference ability and may or may not have the potential ability to use it (in theory they could channel ambient magic in a ritualised context, as they are "hollow" of magic). Some people don't have any of those three parts and regardless, they're considered "tacit" - quiet in magic. Grog is the former kind of tacit - he has magic, he just can't use it meaningfully. It makes him very strong and hardy, but useless at spellcasting. Percy, meanwhile, is not tacit. Percy was born with magic, not much of it, but very precise transfer and use ability. He was from a very old Pureborn family, magic all the way back, Poludnitsa having married into the family to give them an inborn touch of sunlight. This makes them very interesting to, say, a vampire that may not be entirely happy about the restrictions of their new unlife, the vampire's magical researcher wife, and their pet general researcher. Except. Magic gets fucked up by trauma. Percy's magic - never much to begin with - has been warped and suppressed due to him not wanting to give Ripley any kind of information and so now he is, functionally, tacit. He has magic, he just can't meaningfully use it. Vex is perceptive. Things get interesting. (No one likes Ripley.)

Elaina Lives AU - See the thing is I have actually written some stuff for this and I have ideas for it and I really like it, it was genuinely one of my first ideas I had when watching CR (before Perc'ahlia devoured my brain) but also it's centered on a minor/background character who's dead before canon begins and so it probably won't get much attention if I do write it? Because people always prioritise ship content over genfic (which infuriates me). But anyway, in this AU Elaina survives Thordak's attack, and, for reasons I shall not get into, ends up at the Raven's Crest in Vasselheim. Perhaps the party has another cleric when they go to Marrowglade. Perhaps a different deal is struck over Vex's cooling body. After all, it is not the brother's duty to protect their sibling. It is the parent's duty to protect their child.

Daemon AU - Look, you can have so much intimacy with daemons and the touching/not touching thereof, and Separated daemons and- look, I really want to write this but again, this is one of those small minor AUs that isn't ever going to be as long as the others (crosses my fingers and hopes to hell and back) so even if I do get to it, it probably wouldn't be terribly long. I do think that in Exandria you could have a lot of fun with immense cultural differences of opinion about daemons, about whether those daemons are their same or different genders to their people (in HDM they're usually a different gender, but not always), about people with daemons who Settle in the same form, about Separated daemons. And also - longer lived, slower maturing races, would the existence of daemons change perspectives on shorter-lived races? Daemons Settling earlier indicating these shorter-lived groups are still mature by the metric of daemons, even if an elf of the same age is a child? Without the Magisterium in play and a multitude of gods there's also the idea of clerics who have daemons that are linked to or in some way symbolic of their gods - does Pike's Settle as a bird of some kind, in honour of Sarenrae's wings? Do members of the Grey Hunt tend towards wolf daemons? Does planar ancestry affect daemon manifestation - do tieflings have infernally touched daemons while aasimar or genasi have celestial or elemental ones? How does the existence of daemons intersect with summoned or pacted familiars? There's so many possible questions to dig into and I just don't have the time. But suffice to say, Percy as a magpie is an idea I have loved for a long time, and as everyone knows - one for sorrow. Also, if daemons are Dust and Dust is souls, and demons and devils feed on souls, obviously infernal deals drain away the Dust of one's Daemon. It's not gone, per se - that would have nasty consequences for the person - but it is... held in escrow (ha!), as it were, tied to the deal. Percy might think his daemon has fled him after all their trauma and loss, but mostly she's just furious with him.

Eros & Psyche Perc'ahlia - Look. Look. It is the original Beauty and the Beast story. I love it so much. And part of the story is that Psyche was forbidden from looking upon Eros. Orthax's smoke is very good at obscuring Percy's face. There's a lot of bits and pieces of this I haven't yet fully hammered out, but I love this AU, I love it so much, I love the visuals I can try to tease out as Percy's glasses flash through the smoke when he sits in sunlight with Vex, the smoke no longer roiling shadow because he's soothed and calmed by her company, so it steadies. She glimpses him even if only fragments at a time, before the first time the smoke peels back entirely and she gets to see him for real. (It is still as much a shock as it was in the myth. There are still challenges to overcome.)

Was reminded of an old idea where Vax became a recognised follower of The Everlight and started paladin training under Pike's guidance and the local Emon temple before The Chroma Conclave showed up and the dominoes that push him to The Matron could fall into place.

I also joked about him having 3 mothers (because I somehow forgot about poor Devanna who is right there).

And I reblogged it, mentioning I want to do something with it.

Well thinking about it a bit more, lets go a step further.

I headcannon that the twins were raised following the Wildemother when living with their mother in Byroden.

What if she's like - "I was here first, ladies. My bird boy."

This is all very unrealistic and would never happen, but in my heart of hearts, it's canon now that Vax has 5 moms.

If I wrote this AU, Vax would be very loved and protected because we'd have -

His birth mother, who raised him from birth until 10 years old, miss Elaina of Byroden.

The Wildmther, who watched over him in his youth and may or not have intervened in what should have been a fatal accident when he was young.

Devanna, freshly divorced from the worst ambassador Exandria has ever seen, having been his stepmother and becoming quite close with him before the twins ran away Syngorn for good.

The Everlight, the Goddess that Vax went to in search of guidance and comfort after being bitten by a Vampire.

And last but not least, The Matron of Ravens, the very possessive guardian over fate and the purity of death, who took Vax as her champion in exchange for the very life and soul of his twin sister.

His twin sister Vex'ahlia, equally possessive and very overprotective of her brother.

And of course, little Velora.

Add Vox Machina, Gilmore, Allura, Kima, Cassandra, Kaylie and Jarett in...

And yeah... Don't mess with Vax. You will regret it.

Just read your new AU idea and ooooh, considering the NUMBER of parent-related trauma these characters have and especially mother-related - I'm not saying I need to see Elaina adopt VM (not literally - otherwise Vaxleth and especially Perc'ahlia would be weird) but I would love to know ALL THE THINGS about this! How does Elaina meet VM one by one/two? What does she think of them first/how does her vision of them evolve as they grow and she gets to know them better? What would it change in their group dynamics? What is Elaina doing throughout canon? So many questions!! :D

I think growing up in a small town means Elania very much knows how to take in stragglers and make sure everyone under her roof has a warm meal and a place to sleep.

Keyleth is the first after Percy, I just talked about that. And then all three gnomes come by. I think at first they're just passing through but then Percy sees Grog and asks if he can use his size to help them repair some houses in the town because a lot of them are still fucked up after Thordak.

Of course Grog agrees so that means Pike and Scanlan are staying as well. A few days turns into weeks turns into months, turns into building an addition onto the back of Elania's house.

I think Elaina sees them all as lost children at first. She can see the heartache in even the most joyful ones of them. It takes them all a while to tell her about their own families, but once she learns about Pike's parents and Grog's and Keyleth's mother and Scanlan's father, she takes them under her wing so much more.

As for group dynamics, I don't think they change that much. But the twins having their mother changes so much for them. They're much happier and well adjusted, though they still have the scars of the time they spent with their father.

Once VM sets out adventuring, the send Elania frequent letters to let her know that they're alright. She tells everyone in town about how they're all killing monsters and saving lives, she's just so incredibly proud of them.

Okay so I’ve been recently getting back into bnha, so uh me and @struckbyelectriclove have been clowning non-stop on a bnha au with our kids

So have exchange student, Eileen Ryder, AKA Lady Valor!

Eileen’s Quirk is called Power Hydra and is a combination of her father’s Twin Dragons quirk and her mother's Orb Healer quirk. Eileen’s quirk allows her to summon four different colored dragons out of her back that, depending on their color, can either send out powerful energy beams at foes to deal damage or heal her allies.

More Info on Elly’s quirk and the AU under the cut!

Her gold and red dragon’s deal damage while her blue and green one’s deal healing.

Although her quirk allows for more flexibility in the field since she acts as both a healer and a fighter, compared to her dad's dragons, they're only half as strong (it's theorized it's due to their small size in their natural state).

Eileen can make the dragons swell in size if she wills it but by doing so the harder they are to control and the greater the risk of her losing control over her quirk

When it comes to the healing part of Eileen’s quirk, the person she’s healing’s overall health and fitness, the extent of their injury and their blood type all factor in on how well she can heal them and how much energy is needed to heal them.

Because her quirk saps out her energy, she prefers to use her tail as a weapon and have her dragons just restrain the foe in their jaws. She likes to finish a fight as soon as possible in order to preserve more energy for the more dangerous foes she might face in the field in the case that there are multiple enemies.

Good at hand-to-hand combat and has a dagger hidden on her in case she can't use her quirk for whatever reason.

The scales on her dragon’s and her tail are very tough and help to minimize impact and can also be launched at will to create a devastating wide range attack but is a move Eileen can only use when in an open space in order to avoid accidentally hurting her allies so she rarely uses it.

When her quirk is not activated, it takes the form of a tattoo on her back.

Eileen actually has a pair of wings that come with her quirk but her right wing has sustained such heavy damage from a villain attack that it has rendered her unable to fly with them so she keeps them tucked away because of the trauma she endured.

All four of her dragons have a mind of her own and help her to spot an enemy's weak spot. Hearing her dragon's thoughts and seeing what they see was very disorienting in the beginning but she's gotten better at handling it.

The dragons also like to play with each other and the rest of her classmates when Elly is taking downtime or having a nap. They often play chess, cards or when Elly is napping in the dorm's living room, video games.

All four of them have names corresponding to the zodiac signs

The gold one is Ari (Aries), the red one Lee (Libra), the blue one Leo and the green one Capri (Capricorn)

Story facts:

Eileen comes from a family of heroes and was the only child of Edward and Julianna Ryder to receive a quirk that was a mutation of their own respective quirks. When she was nine, she and her sisters went to a newly built planetarium/museum in the area only for it to be attacked by villains and for the building to fall apart.

Eileen awoke to find herself pinned under a metal beam and her sister Elaina trying desperately to lift it off. Elaina called out for Eliza to help her only to find her being stared down by a villain that looked like a wolf. Elaina bravely went against the villain despite being so young in order to buy her sisters time to escape but ultimately perished.

Security footage later found out that the girl's older brother Jacob seemed to have helped in smuggling the villains in and even participating in the attack. The family received thousands of death threats and we're under intense scrutiny from the public. It got to the point that Edward was being pressured to resign as a hero but upon learning of this, Eileen bravely faced her dad’s higher-ups and struck a deal with them. She would train to become a powerful hero and become their pawn to use and her dad wouldn't need to give up his job as a hero and the rest of her family would be protected and be left alone. They accepted the deal and immediately put her through hellish training.

Years later, Eileen finds her brothers journal that revealed he had discovered something sinister happening at the hero school he went to in the country and urged Elly that if she somehow managed to find his journal and was currently reading it, to finish what he started and save the kids in that school from the inner villainy going on on its grounds.

Elly somehow managed to convince her superiors to let her continue her training and education at the hero school her brother went to and immediately began her investigation.

Eventually finds out that the school is being used as a recruitment center for a group of highly wanted villains and that the principal and several other school staff are involved in it.

Works with several other students to expose the school's dark acts and is found out by the villains.

One of Eileen's friends are killed by the villain (I guess this AU’s equivalent to Rakepick) and torture Elly by destroying her right wing.

Eventually ends up having one last face off with the villain and is forced to kill them when they manage to break free of their restraints and begin to start charging up their quirk again to release a one last devastating attack that, if reached full charge, would kill every hero and civilian within the area. Eileen uses her dragons to launch herself and the villain straight into a pole, killing the villain upon impact but severely injuring Eileen.

After the battle, her and Kat @struckbyelectriclove) reveal to each other that they’re gonna be transferring to a new school and cry over it

Only to see each other at U.A High’s entrance and running into each other’s arms and ugly crying over it like the dumbasses they are LMAOOOO.

Kat and Eileen often team up and call themselves The Feral Duo.
