Enola Holmes (2020) An amazing story that takes place during late 1800's in England, a revolutionary time and a revolutionary place. It is about two hours Netflix movie with amazing music, scenes and aesthetic to it. The movie is adapted by Nancy Springer's book "The Enola Holmes Mysteries" although it's not quite identical to the book but it is still worth watching. The story is about one and only Sherlock Holmes's sister "Enola" which backwards spells "Alone", although she has never been alone in her life because she always had her mother by her side whom taught her both physical and mental skills but, one day her mother goes missing and now she must find her but how will she find her when her brother "Mycroft" have different plans for her?. It is not like most of the dark academic stories you would watch because it is not just some random mystery and thriller movie, it's a movie that brings a strange vibe, the one which is not dark but more of exciting and mysterious. It gives out a weird and amazing aura and holds magnificent meanings! I totally recommend it to dark academia, light academia, harry potter, cottage core and other academia fans. I watched it and I absolutely loved it! It have added it on my Top 5 most favourite movies. The thing that I loved the most about this story is the vibes and music, my favourite scene is the train scene and favourite music is the great "The Game is a Foot". Make sure to watch it, if you have not seen it till now and make sure to give your comments on it!

Okay I think this has to be from bbc Merlin for me when Arthur and Gwen finally both confess their feelings. For context they had the whole ‘forbidden pinning’ and all of that where they wouldn’t confess for a decent amount of time. So finally when they tell each other their true feelings it hits home and it’s just so beautiful. And their beautiful kisses are amazing. Like the actual cinematography there is just chief’s miss. It’s just sooo amazing.

Another one honestly has to be Enola and Tewksbury in Enola holmes 2 like that entire scene with them on Tewksbury’s doorstep is amazing and so cute 🥰 and then you have them in the carriage where they finally kiss when I tell you i was squealing

For st: jopper. Okay listen I was waiting on it the whole moment and every single time they delivered. And it meant so much to me! So yeah gonna go with them lol.

Stand Tall from Julie and the Phantoms. This song gets me every time and the context surrounding everything is crazy emotional and i love it so much.

For st related though: either the never ending story song or the remix of Separate Worlds by journey. The fucking chills that I get whenever I listen to Separate Worlds is insane. I swear i get chills. And it’s honestly just amazing. And the never ending story thing is just sooo cute and adorable 🥰

St: okay I’m honestly stuck here cuz I loved all of them. Like season 1 finale ep is always iconic but also season 2 and 3 are all equally as good. I’m stuck here lol and at a conflict.

For any other fandom ngl I’m having a hard time thinking about it for some reason and I don’t know why.

“Remember you were named after a hero.”

Merrin turned two this year. The Exorcist (her namesake, if you’ve been following along) turns 50 this year. I always knew I wanted to alternate “party years” with “experience years” for her birthday celebrations, and it’s also always been important to me to raise kids who are citizens of the world, with a contextual understanding that informs all things, and well, we’re something of a demon-fighting family — so off to DC we went.

It’s impossible to appreciate how monstrous The Exorcist Steps actually are unless you can see them in person, and my family patiently endured my sentimentality as we climbed them together to the house at 3600 Prospect Street outside of which Father Merrin had his iconic arrival. The food and pool at the Four Seasons were both world-class marvels, and our concierge Margot was so taken with the story of Merrin’s name that she later arranged a surprise gift for her (pictured) via the pastry chef that was so beautiful, thoughtful, and unexpected that I cried and am still crying. We hit the NMNH, where I geeked out over the Tiffany and Co.-set Hooker Emerald Brooch, and the NMAH, where we wept over the original Star-Spangled Banner. (There was a lot of good crying on this trip, ha.) We were very well taken care of for Merrin’s birthday dinner at Martin’s, the oldest family-run restaurant in DC, where JFK proposed to Jackie and where scenes from The Exorcist III were filmed. Finally, we visited the NASM Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center and saw some world-shakers, including the Enola Gay. The current Oppenheimer movie craze is warranted, but GO SEE THAT PLANE.

Thank you to my in-laws for minding our canines back home and to Mike and Petra, our Pop and Oma, for being on hand to celebrate and help with child safety. None of this will ever be lost on me, and I’ll ensure as Merrin grows up that it isn’t lost on her. Perfection is elusive outside of heaven, but witnessing the joy of her experiencing her birthday with her family in such a special way, I think we got there.

hello lovely! donut worry about it, life is like that! I have a magnet on my home fridge that we got from the tillamook cheese factory in tillamook county oregon (best dairy products in the usa in my humble opinion! it's a co-op so the farmers all work together there's not a corporate overlord hoarding the profits!!) on a vacation once that says 'life is like an ice cream cone. just when you've got it licked, it drips on you!' which like so true so no stress bestie!! I hope things start to calm down soon for u <3 also would highly recommend vacationing in tillamook county, oregon if u ever get a chance, it's so so so pretty!! the ocean's cold as heck tho so don't go in without a proper wetsuit!! but the high in the summer is like 60s-70s f (15c-21c) so prime sweatshirt on the beach weather which is my Favorite weather of all so it's a great summer destination for me personally. idk if u like hot or cold weather which do u prefer bestie??? I like a good 67f (19c) wish it was that temp all the time ever. not the larger point tho.

yesterday I went to my friend petey's house! he didn't have ideas on what to watch so I subjected him to the first enola holmes film on netflix (my icon is the actor who plays tewkesbury if u didn't know now u know) and then I'm gonna try to hang out with him again this weekend to watch the second enola holmes movie (which I prefer but the first is very important to establish characters and relationships imo)!! he and I are besties from back in my starbucks days. we slopped bean water together as I would say bc literally no one else would talk like that awiuefhidgr. today I'm just vibin! I keep meaning to get up and Do things but it's now the afternoon and I have done 0 things.......oh well such is life. I hope u get vibing no task time soon!!!!
