I made this post a few days ago and was asked for more input on Sting's character in regards to future Rogue so here's some more thoughts:

Future Rogue explicitly says he killed Sting and took his power but I have my doubts about that:

f!Rogue said to Natsu that in one year from the games Frosch would be killed by Gray and thus his pillar would be gone and he would succumb to the shadow, meaning during Avatar Gray and Rogue would fight.

But Tartaros happened before Avatar, and during this arc we witness Sting and Rogue's first shown improvement after swearing change in the name of Sabertooth, which culminates in both of them killing Jienma and erasing Sabertooth's ugly past for good. also using a unique unison raid that only they can do <3

Which solidifies the fact that Rogue is no longer intimidated by his shadow because, as he said himself, Sting would be able to kill it. He no longer lives haunted by the thoughts of his shadow taking over him because he knows Sting will always be there to protect him.

But this obviously all happened in the good future where the world didn't end and now THIS is where the fun begins.

What happened in the bad future where f!Rogue is from?

If my memory serves correct f!Rogue later revealed that his plan was to open the gate of Eclipse to let dragons from the past in and rule them to overcome Acnologia, who would soon descend and raise the world into chaos.

Now I don't think he gave an exact date as to when would this be but, Acnologia did indeed appear later during Tartaros so we're going to assume that's when the apocalypse started in the bad timeline.

And let's rewind for a sec to what happened in the good timeline's Tartaros: Sting and Rogue helped Fairy Tail, saved Minerva and killed Jienma, which is a direct consequence of what f!Rogue did during Eclipse.

I explain:

What would have happened after the games ended in this bad timeline? Would Sting have accepted to become Sabertooth's new master? His resolution begins when he gives up before Erza and the rest during the final battle but I don't think he really makes up his mind about it until the dragons are attacking the city and he fights to protect his guild, both he and Rogue do.

It's not until both of them are fighting at the end of the world that they realise what made Fairy Tail the strongest guild, and even after having tecnically lost, this battle gave them something f!Rogue probably didn't expect.

It gave them hope.

So can we really assume they would've followed the same path had they not fought the dragons? I find it absolutely marvelous and poetic how f!Rogue, having lost all sense of compassion, hope and having nothing left but rage, wanting to cast his revenge in this new timeline indirectly saved him and his beloved from the horrors he had to endure.

Which brings me back to my first statement. In the bad timeline Sting was left with nothing after the games ended, sure Jienma was gone, he got Lector back and he had Rogue but what was he supossed to do from there on? Without the cataclysm of the Eclipse gate I assume he'd want nothing to do with Sabertooth again, or maybe he did, but then as Tartaros arrived maybe the guild had not yet gone through the experience of truly fighting along your peers to protect them, none of the guilds had. except, yknow, fairy tail but they're literally the mcs here

We can't forget that they were fighting literal demons here, plus Acnologia himself. -Again taking in mind the experience of fighting dragons had also not happened here-

You could also argue that the FACE project the Tartaros gates had planned might've actually worked in this timeline, which would result in over half of the population or more being left without magic to fight, it's understandable the world fell into chaos pretty quickly and a huge number of people died, as we saw in f!Lucy's timeline.

And Sting and Rogue were probably neither mentally nor physically prepared to fight all of this right after the magic games, they didn't have time to bond with their guildmates after Jienma died the same way they did in the good timeline, hell I'd even argue Sting was probably in a worse state because he got his emotional and physical strenght tested back then and there's no way he'd recover from that in such a short time with only Rogue's help.

Throughout the manga we see how Sting is the uplifting half of this duo, he's the one who constantly reassures Rogue and the rest of the guild, he's taken his admiration for Natsu and learned from it in that sense, but is bad future Sting like this? Is he able to smile and shine a path to the people he loves, is he able to fight for them?

In my head f!Rogue didn’t kill Sting because Sting likely gave up fighting or chose to sacrifice himself. that being to give Rogue another chance to live or because he knew one of them would die and he knew he wouldn't be able to live without Rogue is up to interpretation :)

And this proves to me that neither can live without the other, when Sting died f!Rogue either lost his mind and gave into grief not fully, he would after Frosch's death and took his powers in order to survive or to preserve a small part of Sting with him, which makes this shit sadder when his shadow fully takes over him and he's no longer concious of this, using his partner's power, the only power able to guide him and subdue him to kill without remorse.

f!Rogue said that Frosch was his pillar but I refuse to believe Sting is not a pillar for him as well, he may have fully lost against his shadow after losing Frosch but his relationship with Sting having ended simply with a "I killed him amd took his powers" I will not accept, Rogue lost half his heart when Sting died/was killed and Frosh was the last bit of sanity that remained of him after that, which was ultimately but not the only reason he wasn't strong enough to fight his shadow.

As you can see I have a lot to say about this arc and I would've given anything for it to be explored more but alas I've spent the last 6+ years rewritting the entirety of this manga in my head and I love to dive into the possibilities, like what could have happened if Sting had lost Rogue in that future? what happened to the rest of the Sabertooth's members? I can be here all day.

But anyways I feel I'm not good enough at expressing my thoughts in written form but I hope it's understandable enough? I'm growing more confident though so hopefully I can puke more nonsense about this two <33

Theoretics of Bisexual Lighting

Background: The Dean rents out a gaudy hotel venue for a Greendale faculty only dance and NOTHING ELSE THIS WAS ALWAYS HIS PLAN (lying). Its all nicely decorated and he even got some LED lighting, specifically bisexual lighting, which is pointed out by Abed. A-Plot: Troy and Abed decide to go together as each others platonic dates, but the atmosphere gets Troy REALLY thinking about his and Abed's relationship. (More under the cut)

He looks back and sees that for the past 6+ years he has always been with him, save the rare moments they fought. Troy starts to think about spending the rest of his life with Abed, but the thing is he doesn't want to stress Abed out with anything romantic, he doesn't even know if this feeling IS romance, but he also doesn't think its platonic. Abed notices Troy is avoiding talking to him and asks if he wants to go, but Troy says nothings wrong. Throughout the night Troy gets more and more caught up in trying to categorizes his feelings of Abed into romantic or platonic or even familial. Later on in the night Troy confess he loves Abed and wants to kiss and all that with him but still doesn't know what he wants call it, and Abed's just kinda like 'I mean we could make something up, just for us', which helps Troy a LOT and yeah they kiss under the bisexual lighting and to the song 'Somewhere out there' by Linda Ronstadt :] B-Plot: Jeff and Duncan, the night before, decide to stay the night at the hotel to treat themselves, in separate rooms. HOWEVER, the hotel had a system glitch so Duncan's booked room was given to someone else. Jeff lets him stay in his room. That room happens to be a 'Honeymoon suite' because Jeff wanted to treat himself okay? So first off, they take a name in the middle of the day because the room situation kept them up until late in the night, but someone forgot to set an alarm and they end up missing one hour of the dance. THEN Jeff takes an inordinate amount of time in the shower, missing 30 more minutes of the dance. After THAT Duncan can't find the suit top he was going to wear, only realizing he forgot it at home, which loses them another hour. and after more comedic shenanigans ('dont you dare wear that tie, I am NOT matching with you' 'its the only one I brought Ian.' 'idc'), end up missing 4 hours of the dance, Jeff tries to go down without him- he really doesn't know why he didn't while he was looking for the jacket- but the lock on the door breaks and they're locked in and instead of yknow, calling the front desk, they argue about it. Duncan's like 'Why the hell didnt you just go without me?' and Jeffs like 'maybe I like being around you??' and Ians like 'bullshit, you started ignoring me after I didnt get you the test answers' Jeff is all like 'jesus christ, I know I sucked back then but MAYBE im a different person now and want to actually put in effort to be friends again' and Ians like 'Well-' but his ankle does that thing where it just twists while he's pacing around and he falls HARD into the lighting system of the room and, through the divine power of comedy tropes, turns on the Honeymoon Suite bisexual lighting and jazz music. Jeff goes over to him to check if he's okay and yknow after a heart to heart like that (pretend the dialogue was more emotional Im not good at writing emotional dialogue), emotions are racing and they are looking into eachothers eyes all deep and shit and and gay kiss and make out for the first time. First time SOBER, that is C-Plot: Annie meets one of the caterer girls and she tries so hard to get her number because hoooolllly shit she was so pretty omg. She embarrasses herself a lot and at some point just walks away to the bathroom to cry. Britta finds her and is like 'girl you dont have to bust your ass for anyone just go and ask the world wont explode i prommy' and so Annie works up the courage, goes over shaking and lands the girls number. :]

Extra: The dean rented the venue originally for a furcon but that fell thorough and it was a LOT of money to just waste.

Got a little confused halfway with this one, so it's a bit confusing to read but bear with me because it's 1am and I'm running on Coca Cola and sour straws :D

Synopsis/Feels: Basically Y/N is this worlds Gwen Stacey, famous for a bit at the end because idk, imagine that press scene from ITSV when MJ was talking to the city after Blond Peter died, reader dies(obv), angst y ag but that's what they wanted, reader is a girl, yeah yeah you get it.

It was just a normal day. Fighting thugs, feeding stray dogs, eating vada pav, hanging out with the rare, the elusive, the literally famous, singer Y/N Singh, yknow. The norm for Spider-Man: India.

Everything was going normally. A little boring, but normally. Nobody was in a huge amount of danger, and Y/N had worn a lovely outfit, which showed she was in a good mood.

He wanted to spend the entire day with her, to not leave her side. But alas, his duties as Spider-Man prevented him from doing so.

He should've been more careful. He should've stopped and wondered why his Spidey-Sense had been going crazy all day.

But no, he made what seemed to be a tiny mistake leaving her alone.

5 hours later, he's saving a bus from falling off the bridge connecting two cities, after it unfortunately collapsed. Struggling and he can only balance one thing, since even Spider-Man can't balance a bus with one hand.

He thought everyone had gotten away. That everyone on the bridge was safe.

"Hey, look out!"

That's when his heart absolutely shattered. He'd recognize that voice from a billion miles away. It was Y/N Singh. HIS Y/N Singh.

And she was there.

He could barely keep the bus up as he tried desperately to get a look at where his love was.

"It's okay...here, I'll carry you." He watched helplessly, his arms aching from holding a bus up alone, and his eyes stinging from the wind blowing through his cracked lens.

As Y/N grabbed the kid's hand, she seemed to notice the same thing Pav did.

She didn't have enough time to carry that kid away.

So she turned, giving Pavitr a quick glance. And despite not knowing the Spider hero, she put her faith in him to save the kid.

And so, a split second before the bridge collapsed, Y/N Singh tossed the kid, then falling the the streets below.

And Pav was helpless to do anything.

Pavitr tapped one of the microphones once, then a second time, causing the feedback to ring throughout the ginormous speakers set up around town hall.

"Sorry- I've never done anything like this before. And I don't have anything prepared to say..." Pav trails off, glancing at all of the cameras and eyes on him.

Mumbattan had just lost it's most beloved singer, who was well known to be dating Pavitr Prabhakar. It was an absolute bomb dropped on the poor city.

So right now, they needed someone to tell them it was gonna be okay. That, with time, everything would go back to normal. And they would rely on her boyfriend to tell them that.

But alas, Pavitr had also lost a piece of himself. He wanted to go home and cry, maybe even beat himself up for failing to save her.

The only reason he's here is because Gayatri and Inspector Singh expressly asked him to be. So he took a big breath before just...speaking his mind.

"I'll be honest. Y/N and I have been dating for 4 years, as most of you know. And in those 4 years, I found myself more than I had in my entire life before I knew her. I was lucky to know her on such a personal level, and it's...hard. Knowing she's gone. At times she would go on tour for months, but I knew she'd be back. Now...she's gone. Forever." Pavitr paused, sniffing in to stop his nose from running.

"Y/N was an amazing person. She was an inspiration to many, a light in the darkness to some, a friend to all, as well as a daughter to Mr.Singh, and sister to Gayatri Singh. And, at the end of her life, she was a hero.."

Pav thought for a moment. He shouldn't say the next part, he really shouldn't.

But he did.

"But she was also my girlfriend. And I hate that the world took her away from me so soon. As much as it pains me to say it, I can't lie. I hate that she had to be the hero that saved that boy. We all love heroes, and we're all sad when they pass away. And that sadness passes in a few weeks for most. But to me, Gayatri, and Inspector Singh, we can't just turn off the channel and pretend it didn't happen."

Pav knew he should've just stopped there, and everyone else did too.

But in a way he was talking to Y/N as well, hoping that his message would get to her no matter where she was.

"In the end, everyone loves heroes. Until they're the people close to them. Then it's a completely different story."

Pav knew he was condescending himself. He knew he wasn't making any sense. He saw poor Gayatri burst into tears less than 10 feet away from him.

But he had to keep going.

"I just wish Y/N could've been selfish for once in her life. Prioritized herself over a kid she didn't even know so she could stay with me. But she couldn't. It wasn't like her."

Pav took a deep breath, leaning closer into the microphone for his final word.

"And that's what I loved about her."

Derry was peaceful… a little too peaceful. It had just turned summer and all the kids were out of school. Some went to the arcade, some played down at the pool. But the older kids had summer jobs. And you were no exception, working down at the local pool as a lifeguard.

Now the gig wasn’t all that bad, of course there were screaming children, but drowning was rare. Children respected you, so they didn’t dare step into the deep end without approval. You sat in your watchtower making sure everything was up to par. And if it got too hot, you could always just jump in to cool off. Plus you didn’t mind seeing all the older kids in their bathing suit.

Women would wave and give little giggles as you walked by. Men would gawk, but look away when you met their eyes. It was highly amusing. But you weren’t interested in them. Except for this one boy who started to show up everyday since last week. You hadn’t seen him around school, he looked maybe a few years older than you. He was tall, lanky, but well built. Hair you could run your hands through, and a smile that was to die for.

But those eyes, those eyes were what held your attention. Those big puppy dog eyes he’d give you, and only you. Once you even swore you saw them change colours. As time went on he’d stay later and later, until he was the last one leaving the pool in the evening.

“Hey!

You shouted after him as he got out of the pool, you’re eyes trailing his stomach. He turned to you, an confused look on his face.

“What’s your name?”

“Penny.” He stated simply.

Penny, what an odd name for a boy. But you had to admit, you liked the way it sounded. You introduced yourself, asking him how long he’d been swimming for. When he explained he’d never swam before this week you were shocked. He was so good.

As you parted ways you made a bold decision.

“See you tomorrow?” You asked over your shoulder.

An open invitation. You were dangling the hook right in his face, seeing if he’d bit. You weren’t even sure if he was interested in you, or if you were his type. But when you got a nod, your heart raced.

“Tomorrow.”

But when he didn’t show, you found yourself feeling lost without him. You’d been so excited to get to see him, talk to him more. But he was a no show, stood you up. As the last kids left the pool you signed, cleaning up the left over tools and heading for the showers. You let the warm water run over your body as you scrubbed the chlorine from you skin. You jumped when you head a chuckle.

“You look good!” A voice complimented.

You frantically rubbed the soap out of your eyes and turned to the intruder. Even with your eyes still blurry, you could make out his eyes anywhere.

“Penny?” You asked.

He chuckled once more.

“Sorry I was late today, had to take care of some… stuff. And by the time I got in the pool was closed.”

“So you just walking in on me showering… naked?” You raised a brow.

You didn’t attempt to cover yourself, instead choosing to cross your arms over your chest for emphasis. You weren’t ashamed of your body, and he seemed to like looking at it. So why hide it? It was than you noticed his strange appeal. He was wearing a suit. And holding… flowers? He noticed you looking at them and handed them to you.

“I heard human-people give flowers as apologies. Is that wrong?”

It was your turn to laugh now. How odd. He scrunched his brows at your laughter. Penny wasn’t used to people laughing around him.

“Dude, you’re gonna ruin your fancy suit. And no, it’s not wrong. A little weird but not wrong.”

You turned off the tap and went to grab a towel, wrapping it around yourself.

“Weird?”

“Normally this apology is for more… intimate relationships. Like dating, or parents. Not strangers. But I like them, they’re pretty.”

“You are not a stranger. I know your name, you know mine.” He stated flatly.

“There much more to get to know about a person Penny. Like how most people prefer privacy when they shower.”

“Bodies are natural.”

“Yes, yes they are. You’re strange you know that?”

“Strange?”

“Good strange. Fun strange. I like it. Thanks again for the flowers. But we should get out of here, if I don’t lock up soon I’ll get in trouble.”

“Trouble?”

“My boss will be mad and punish me if I don’t follow the rules. Technically I’ve already broken one. No one is allowed in the pool area after hours.”

You gestured to the man beside you. You got dressed as Penny refused to break eye contact. It was awkward but not uncomfortable.

“Then I will eat this boss.” He said, this time his tone a little more happy.

You paused in your tracks, contemplating if you heard him right. You turned to look at him.

“You’re really funny!” You complemented.

He made you smile and you liked that.

“It was not a joke human. Nobody should punish you.”

“You call me human like you’re not one. Don’t tell me, you’re a vampire- no wait you swim in the sun. A were wolf, not likely. An alien, that’s it, you’re an alien aren’t you! Trying to get in my head to learn how to pretend to be human.” You joked.

You’d both continued walking, locking the door behind you. Penny frowned.

“I am not an alien. And I’m not trying to get into your head. You’re different.”

“Good different?” You asked.

He nodded.

“Most people run. Even in this form.”

“Form? I don’t see why anyone would be intimidated by a well dressed man in a suit.”

“Not my clothes human. My skin.”

You figured this was part of his act. A weird roleplay thing he did. Like an impromptu improv session to gage your reaction. So you played along.

“Hmm. And this different skin? Is it scary.”

“It can be. I can be anything you want.” He said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“So you’re a shapeshifter?”

Another nod. Seems like he was committed to this strange conversion topic.

“So what’s a shapeshifter like you doing in a town like Derry?”

You kicked at the rocks at your feet.

“Derry is oblivious. They don’t protect their youth. People go missing.”

Now you grew slightly uncomfortable. Maybe he was a serial killer, and you shouldn’t be talking to him. But he was the most interesting thing to come your way all summer. And you had to admit, he was quite easy on the eyes.

“Hmm, like the kids at the begging of the summer? I do admit, the police should be doing more about that. I heard they haven’t found any bodies yet.”

Penny looked at you strange. You weren’t scared, you weren’t suspicious. Of course his original plan upon seeing you was to lure you away and eat you. You weren’t a child anymore, but you’d still taste good. But now he couldn’t bring himself to do it. You were different than his usual prey. So he kept walking behind you, following blindly where ever you went.

“I doubt they will.” He stated simply.

As the summer went on, more kids went missing. A curfew was placed on the town, and the pool suffered for it. But you at least got it go home early. And everyday Penny would meet you by the gate and walk you home. It was nice, simple. You two didn’t need to define the relationship because you were both comfortable. The first time you’d kissed Penny on the cheek, you swore he actually turned red. And his eyes turned that vibrant orange again. Must have been a trick of the light.

He’d learned to do it back. But sometimes it would be random. He’d kiss you on the cheek mid sentence. He liked to play with your hair, SOAD it was soft. He also really enjoyed your hands, they were always well manicured, sometimes even covered in a thick layer of black or red polish. Penny liked the red, it reminded him of blood.

One time you’d gotten into a fist fight on his behalf. Of course Penny didn’t mind the kids calling him a freak, if they knew what he really looked like, they’d be scared shitless. But when he saw you pounce, he was stuck to you like glue from that point. He kissed the bruises on your first. A thin trail of blood feel from your busted lip. Penny was gonna wipe it away with his thumb, but his brain took over.

Without a second thought, Penny pulled you forward into a kiss. It took you a moment to realise what was happening before you kissed back. But you felt a sharp sting at your bottom lip suddenly. Penny bit you. You pulled away for air.

“What was that?” You chuckled.

“Sorry, couldn’t help myself.”

He grinned, wiping a dribble of blood from his mouth.

“So you are a vampire.” You joked.

He rolled his eyes.

“Trust me Doll, I’m muscu scarier than those vampires in your books.”

It was your turn to roll your eyes.

“I’m sure you are P.”

You pulled him back in for another kiss, missing the way his lips made yours tingle. You didn’t mind much if he nibbled at the sensitive flesh of your bloody lip. Pennywise was quickly growing addicted. To your scent, your taste… everything about you. He wanted to devour you, but in a completely different way. But he was trying to portray a gentleman. It was fun pretending to be human. He learned it made the scares that much better, it made the humans feel betrayed and like they were going crazy.

At least this was he didn’t have to hide in a stinky sewer all way. He could blend in to society when he wasn’t killing. One night you’d invited him in, the two of you cuddling and watching an old horror movie together. He never knew such mundane things could be so fun. But he grew hungry as he sat there, and that was something he couldn’t ignore.

“I have to go.” He said suddenly.

You frowned, pausing the movie and lifting your head off his lap.

“Are you alright? You look pale.” Your asked worried.

“I’m fine Doll. I’m just tried. I should really get going, it’s late.”

“Alright” you relented, pulling him in for a hug. “Get home safe.”

Penny was quick to leave, he didn’t want to, but he didn’t want to hurt you. But you grew suspicious. You threw on some old converse and a dark hoodie and left the house. You followed behind him, careful not to give yourself away. You wondered if he was going to meet someone. And when you’d see him standing next to a member of the Bowers gang, your heart sank.

Why would he like you, when he could have Victor Criss. The schools pretty boy. As you were about to turn and go home to sulk, you heard a scream. You saw Penny turn into a giant clown like creature, his stature looming over the boy. You knew you should run, but you wanted a better look. You moved closer and watched as he backed the boy up into a wall. Victor plead for his life but it was no use. You watched as Pennywise devoured the boy.

You knew you should be scared, terrified, disgusted. But this was Penny, you’re Penny. In fact, you were only mad that he hid this side of himself from you. Of course you knew he wasn’t human, but he’d never straight up confessed to you. His head suddenly snapped to you and you locked eyes.

“Y/N?” His voice sounded demonicz

He walked toward you slowly, expecting you to flinch back. When you didn’t, he titled his head confused. You pointed to your own lip and giggled.

“You’ve got a little Victor right here.” You said.

Pennywise was stunned.

“I am Pennywise the Dancing Clown, and you aren’t scared of me?”

“If you wanted me dead Penny, I’d be dead. The kids started going missing the minuet you showed up. I figured you’d tell me eventually.”

“You do not care?”

You beckoned him forward, pulling him down by his collar and kissing him on the cheek. You wiped the little bit of blood from the corner of his lip, then left him a kiss.

“Besides, you look hot like this.”

You walked away, leaving the man stunned. How he got so lucky as to find you, he’ll never know. But one thing is for certain, he’s never letting you go!

An: Doll is a gender neutral pet name and you can’t tell me otherwise. Everyone can be a doll. You’re all dolls! Hope you enjoyed Ty, I tried my best❤️

First off i wanted to say i appreciate you always sharing your true opinion without muddying it up too much or trying to appease people. The honesty is very refreshing!

Okk anyway i keep seeing this take going around and wanted to know your thoughts on it (i have my own, but):

Leon in infinite darkness asks shen may out to dinner once and then later is looking forward to dinner with Claire. Do you see both of these incidents as platonic? The first one reads as flirting to me and the last one seems like an intentional ship tease from the writers (before uh, yknow, making the encounter end on a sour note... look, that one hug they share when leon saves her is ship tease 100% they know what theyre doing)

The way I look at it is that my goal first and foremost is to analyze the story text in a serious way -- and it's impossible to have a productive conversation about narrative, characterization, and use of literary tropes if I treat every single possible interpretation of the text as valid. There needs to be some uniformity to what I'm saying, or else there's no point in having the conversation.

That, and I also feel like there's no point in having this little community at all if we can't be honest with each other. Friendships aren't built on uwu. They're built on a sincere exchange of common interests and ideas.

So, I'm really grateful that we've all found each other. It's been so fucking awesome to meet so many people who are genuinely interested in a literary analysis of RE's story and want to brainstorm ideas and piece through things together as a team -- because this has never been my experience in RE fandom before, over the full 25 years that I've been here.

Ok, so as for your actual question --

I pretty much agree with your interpretation of what's going on there.

People really need to get the fuck over this weird, puritanical pearl-clutching they're doing and being scandalized by OG Leon being a slut canonically. OG Leon tries to fuck Hunnigan at one point, for god's sake.

Because, like. If you try to handwave away or whitewash the way that Leon is pure testosterone; he's a walking hard-on looking for a hole throws himself at people, you're erasing and overlooking a really big part of his character.

Leon is lonely and he fucking hates himself.

The way that this manifests/the way that he expresses this is different between Remake and OG, but that fact about him never goes away. Remake Leon puts up walls and self-isolates as though he's trying to protect everyone around him from the misfortune of having to know him, but OG Leon does the opposite. OG Leon is constantly giving more and more of himself away in the hopes that, eventually, there'll be nothing left.

So, there's a few different things going on there when he asks out Shen May and then Claire in ID.

With Shen May -- yes, he is actually asking her out. That is a legitimate offer for a date that he will go into with the intention of putting the moves on her and having it end in sex.

He does this not just because she's a hot girl -- though, of course he does think she's a hot girl -- he does it because he feels enough of a connection to her that, if she were to go out with him once, he could use that as a way to trick himself into thinking he's still worth other people's time -- even if for just a few hours. Again: he's really fucking lonely. No one person ever stays in his life long enough to form a meaningful relationship with him (platonic or otherwise), but if he can take a girl out to dinner -- hey, that's something, right?

And if he were to actually fuck her, he'd be able to lose himself in her wants and desires for long enough that he can forget how much he fucking hates himself. If he were to feel her hands on his body, he would actually feel wanted for a change. And if he were to make her come, he would feel needed -- and, if he were to make her come more than once, that would be even better. (Remember: Leon is "The Protector." He needs to be needed. He's probably the master of foreplay and will tease and touch and put his mouth on a partner for well over an hour before he actually fucks them.)

And, ever since being kidnapped by the CIA, the only way that Leon has ever been needed or wanted or useful in any way has been through physical means and the use of his body. That's why he defaults to sex as a coping mechanism before he gives up and just starts drinking. He might not have any value as a person, but as a physical body and an object -- well, that's a different story.

Leon objectifies himself, is what I'm saying.

With Claire, though, it's a little bit different.

Yes, it's ship bait -- but it's very mild ship bait, because the context for this one is way different.

Leon isn't being sincere with Claire when he says what he says. He knows that Claire didn't call him or meet up with him because she wants to go out with him or is looking for a booty call. He's not stupid (mostly).

Leon is being sarcastic and self-deprecating when he tells Claire that he was hoping she was going to want to get dinner with him. It's a sad joke to him, because, in his mind, the thought that Claire would be interested in him at all is actually ridiculous.

Because Claire knows him in ways that Shen May didn't. He can't charm his way into Claire's panties by pretending that he's something more than -- or that he's someone -- that he's not.

Claire doesn't need him -- Claire has never needed him, and Leon has absolutely no reason to believe she wants him, either.

What good is he to her, really, when she already knows the truth? She knows that Leon's only real use is as a weapon -- that he's not good for literally anything outside of an active bioterrorism situation. She knows that he fucks up everything he ever tries to do in his personal life. So, why would she want him? Why would she ever want him?

She doesn't. That's why she's about to disappear from his life again for maybe another six years. Maybe more. Because he's not worth being around.

At least, that's what his brain tells him.

It's a really self-defeating mindset that turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Him talking about getting dinner with Claire is a joke, and the punchline is his own opinion of himself.

Oh my god I have Ideas Now thanks to a goddamn meme joke about Aizawa missing class

What if something happened the night before classes started, unexpected raid, a slightly harder than normal head hit, that made him sleep too long. Aizawa either sleeps through his alarm, getting the sleep he Fucking Deserves, or wakes up super late and doesn't have time to do his morning prep (he gets a jelly pouch but no time for coffee and school coffee is a joke to him).

So now we have two options, an Aizawa that completely misses the first day, or an Aizawa that is fucking Done and isn't going to put up with any bullshit.

The thought I had in mind is the completely Done Aizawa treating the class a little differently, telling Bakugou Specifically that quirk use outside of training is not allowed, among others probably. Now, this gets me because Izuku prolly didn't have any teachers do that before and damn that could change things later.

On the other hand, if Aizawa finally got his date with a full nights sleep, class 1-A would have gone to the orientation and met with a counselor in addition to knowing the other teachers.

That, also, could have differing changes for our broccoli boi. Support system yknow

I honestly love both ideas.

That being said I admit to being more than a bit in love with the idea of Aizawa actually expelling a bunch of the canon 1-A kids.

Like he rocks up to class still rocking last night's concussion and 0 coffee and he's just Not Having It.

Aizawa just looks at Izuku's everything and since he has even less of a filter/patience than normal is like "kid you got the quirk control of a 4-year-old. How/Why?" and that's when Izuku's like "yeahhhh I'm a False Negative???"

Bakugou tries to attack Izuku that one time? Gone.

Mineta? Gone.

Jirou calls Kaminari an idiot/picks on his quirk drawback? Gone.

Class 1-A dwindles down further and further. Ends up being a whole lot smaller and even more tight knit than in canon.

Ok Imma type the rest cuz my hand is getting tired

-Miles and 20 and Ganke is 19 when they move out. Ganke and Miles see their families once a week.

-I’ve said this before but Miles doesn’t go to college. He trains under Misty Knight and works with S.H.E.I.L.D more as he’s learning more about detective work (and is lowkey preparing to take over as the the new Spider-Man leader once Peter retires)

-Ganke is going to school for tech shit but eventually changes is major to social work (there’s a huge reason for this that I’ll get into in another post)

-They end up adopting a black cat that was called Midnight at the shelter but never really responded to the name. The people working at the shelter said “looks like she chose you” seeing how well she bonded with Ganke immediately. He renamed her CoCo. She’s a sweet girl, a little weird though.

-They aren’t super PDA with each other but much like how Peter and MJ are in my AU (who also aren’t super PDA) you could hear a conversation they’d have with each other and be like “oh! They really care for each other”

-they switch chores and household responsibilities depending on work and school scheduling

-They can both be workaholics AND night owls so they constantly have to hold each other accountable for yknow…resting.

-they make a specific day out of the week where they both do nothing having to do with school or work. They just sleep in and have a slow morning and watch Burn Notice all day and talk about nothing and anything all at once.

-They’re both not screamers when they argue but can throw some hurtful words around that they regret saying once they cool down. Also Ganke can be dismissive when he’s irritated or angry. Something they learn to work on overtime.

-Big spoon/Little spoon is interchangeable depending on how they sleepin that day.

-Miles is the better cook. He like cooks well without even trying. It infuriates Ganke but he can’t be too mad cuz he gets to eat the food.

-It would be 5 years before Miles pops the big question.

-Miles is a giant sap who knew he was gonna marry Ganke the moment they started dating.

-He would propose at the park. He proposed there because that’s where they would have playdates when they were kids.

-Ganke just laughs because he planned on proposing to him a week later. He obviously says yes.

-The wedding isn’t big. They make sure to save a seat for Gankes dad. He put a framed picture on his chair to represent his attendance.

-They do the same for Uncle Aaron despite him and Miles’s tumultuous relationship.

-Hobie is the best man

-Gwen is the maid of honor

-It would be about 3 years or so before they meet 2 super powered little ones, a boy and a girl. They’re fraternal twins. They end up adopting the twins.

His grandma taught him how to shoot as well as other things like administrating first aid, carjacking, how to read and write in code, impersonation, 5 different language etc. When asked why she just said "for the future" and didnt elaborate

Lance and Hunk once pretended to be toxic-couple-fighting-in-public-and-making-a-scene as a distraction for Galra long enough for the others to complete the mission

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

Because of the entire died-but-revived and altean marks thingy he will either end up dying slowly or has extended life and is going to outlive almost all of his friends and loved ones :)

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

She really doesnt like healing pods, or going to sleep and first thing she does after waking up is check the date and time

She loves building pillow forts. Lance and Hunk showed her how to make one and that is now her go to stress relief

Also she knows how to play an altean equivalent of a hurdy gurdy but like can only play altean equivalent of Wonderwall

As a little kid she used to look upto Zarkon and Honerva. You know how little kids have these adult figures (not parents) they really wanted to impress? That was Zarkon and Honerva

As a kid she was much more interested in Diplomacy and altean martial arts than in alchemy despite being naturally gifted with it because she thought the lessons were too boring. She regretted than when she woke up 10000 years later

She was researching on altean alchemy even before Lotor showed up to feel a bit closer to her culture

@paladin-n-cleric i'm sorry i know you sent me this take and i was constructing a way to answer it but then i got this ask so i’m gonna answer it here now💀

first of all, before diving deeper into why you (anon) are wrong, let me just preface by saying that thinking we want "a boy to steal a girl's life from her" is interesting...because, at first glance, one could argue that that statement applies more to el than will. will could easily think that el "stole" his life from him as she essentially showed up when he went missing and ended up dating the boy will was in love with (and knew for years beforehand). will could easily hate and resent her for this – BUT HE DOESN'T. and you know why he doesn't? because he is UNSELFISH and a GOOD person. he rarely (if ever) blames anyone else for his problems and tends to actually blame himself for other people's problems (which he shouldn’t). he is sweet, loving, kind and compassionate, and it would be insanely unfair for him to be the only one out of the party to NOT end up having a love interest. but, anyway, more on that later.

So, why SHOULD Will be in a relationship with Mike but El shouldn’t?

in order to answer this question, i will be needing to compare and contrast will and el’s arcs surrounding mike so far, and what we know about them.

1) El was physically outcasted from society in a lab and (not knowing what a romantic relationship actually entails) while Will was not physically outcasted from society in that way, and is aware of societal norms/expectations including what a romantic relationship actually entails.

it’s clear, from season 1 episode 8, that el confuses platonic and romantic relationships. when mike tried to explain what liking someone romantically is, she said “a friend?”

this is troublesome as without being able to distinguish between romantic and platonic feelings, she wouldn’t be able to tell whether how she feels for someone is strictly romantic or strictly platonic, and could lead her to not feel as satisfied from the relationship as she could be.

however, will is not shown to face this problem.

2) El doesn’t know what she likes or even how to know what she likes.

season 3 showed us something extremely concerning when it comes to el – she had no concept of understanding how to know what she likes. it was max who enocouraged her to be herself and to not be like “hopper or mike”, 2 people who had a huge influence on her perception of the world.

the rest of the show has also highlighted how we barely know anything about el’s hobbies and what SHE likes to do. it was only in season 4 where we could tell she started picking up a bit of crafting, but she still has ways to go when it comes to figuring out that aspect of herself.

meanwhile, we know a LOT about will’s hobbies and what he likes to do – like the fact he likes painting, playing D&D and listening to rock music. will already knows who he is and what he likes.

3) Thus, El doesn’t know fundamental things about herself that she needs to know before getting into a relationship. Whereas, Will does.

if el doesn’t know what she likes, how does she even know she likes mike? in order for el to be in a healthy and fulfilling relationship that satisfies her needs, she must know who SHE is first. she needs to know what she likes, doesn’t like; what she wants, doesn’t want; in order for her to get the most out of the relationship. plus (and this is extremely important), having self-clarity and knowing her self-worth before getting into a relationship would allow her to feel complete even OUTSIDE the relationship. her self-worth doesn’t rely on whether someone loves her or not, and she must know this.

whereas, will doesn’t have this problem. he knows who he is and what he wants; the pain he feels from being without mike doesn’t come from a feeling of lack of self-worth/needing to feel normal, it comes from the immense amount of love he has for mike.

misogyny really is wanting to subject el to a relationship that a) she rushed into after spending majority of her life in a lab with no concept of what romantic relationship involves, b) clearly isn’t satisfying her and c) hinders her ability to discover who she is.

misogyny ISN’T wanting el to have a life outside of a relationship. it ISN’T wanting el to be her own person. it ISN’T wanting el to prioritize her platonic and familial relationships over romantic ones. and it certainly ISN’T wanting el to not rely on a man for her fulfillment and self-worth.

4) El hasn’t known Mike for as long as Will has; she could easily move on from Mike after breaking up with him in season 3 AND was at her happiest after doing so. Meanwhile, Will destroyed his happy place after his fight with Mike.

season 3 also showed us how el would actually take it if she and mike broke up, and it does not look like it would be the way a lot of milkvans think it would. instead of being upset or looking regretful, el looked at her happiest after she dumped mike. she high-fives max and giggles/laughs.

this is in stark contrast to how will reacts after his fight with mike. instead of laughing and high-fiving...let’s say lucas, he cries his heart out and tears down Castle Byers (his happy place).

so, will can’t just happily move on from mike. he NEEDS mike, as he has already said in season 4 while using el’s name and pronouns to hide his true feelings.

5) Will already has platonic and familial love

he does, and there is absolutely no deficit of him valuing and cherishing this. what he really needs is romantic love from mike.

he does not seem to prioritize romantic love the way el does, and this is even distinguished when comparing the set up to mike’s season 2 monologue for will, and mike’s season 4 monologue for el.

in season 2, before mike’s monologue, all of will’s family members took turns trying to break will out of his possession. ultimately, however, it was ultimately mike’s monologue that was able to break through to will. this doesn’t mean that will doesn’t love his family, of course he does, but it just means that his feelings for mike are strong enough and powerful enough to break through a mindflayer possession.

in season 4 however, we do not see this occur before mike’s monologue taking place. despite jonathan and will being present as well, we do not see any of scenes of them even attempting to break through to el. instead, we just see mike giving his monologue and saying “i love you” in an attempt to save el (clear indication of romantic love being prioritized when it comes to el).

of course, it was a VERY high-stakes situation compared to the season 2 one, but the fact that it was written like that was an intentional choice made by the writers. they could have easily written it to be more low-stakes and give the byers a chance to try and help her – but nope, they didn’t.

also it is VERY telling that what ultimately broke through to el and got the vines to loosen around her neck was max almost dying, and NOT mike’s monologue. clearly, mike’s “love” wasn’t strong enough for her, but it was strong enough for will.

6) El and Will’s arcs are very different.

of course, this is obvious – but, i think it is very important to point out that el’s arc has already primarily revolved around familial love and acceptance. this has been hammered in with her arc with papa, as well as the audience finding out about her past and the lack of good/healthy familial love she had.

she also didn’t know what a friend was, at the beginning of the show, which is very telling.

meanwhile, will’s arc involves a lot about romantic love, struggling with it while being gay in the ‘80′s.

in season 3, will literally said

we know this is a lie because noah confirmed will’s feelings for mike have been there since season 1.

will doesn’t believe his love for mike will go anywhere; he doesn’t think he has a chance with mike at all. so much so that he sacrificed his own feelings in season 4 in order to make mike happy. he lied and said el commissioned the painting, pretended that his feelings were el’s and pushed mike to say “i love you” to el because he thought it would be what el needed to hear.

will has never gotten a break from the BEGINNING of the show. every single season there is another thing that traumatizes him. he never even gets to have a single moment of genuine, uninterrupted happiness.

being queer in the ‘80′s isn’t easy, and on top of all his trauma with the supernatural, will has to struggle with that as well.

thus, it would not look very good for the duffers at all if will is the only person in the party to not end up having a love interest — as they have said they are trying to not add any new characters in season 5. therefore, it is either mike or nothing.

if the duffers wanted will to have a coming-of-age arc outside of mike, it is way past that point now. they really did not need to involve mike in will’s arc unless it will go somewhere.

we queer people, in general, rarely get any good queer representation, especially when it comes to queer romance. typically the queer character in a tv show or movie ends up (if at all) with a side/undeveloped character as their love interest.

this is just not fair, because queer people deserve to see representation of queer characters ending up happy and fulfilled with the people they want. will ending up being rejected by his “straight best friend” would be so boring and overdone. while, byler happening would not only set a new bar when it comes to queer rep/romance, but it would also give queer people hope for our futures and our ability to find love (that it isn’t all bleak and that we don’t have to get used to rejection because we CAN end up with the people we love).

all in all, it is pretty clear from the show that el doesn’t actually need mike the way she thinks she does, because she is her strongest/happiest/most powerful when she’s without him. what she needs is to value familial and platonic love, because this is also where she has typically fallen short. it’s been shown to us how important her mom saying “i love you, jane” to her was; she just really wants to be loved and cherished by someone, and this DOES NOT need to be romantic.

however, this isn’t the case for will. he already cherishes and values the familial and platonic love he has, but lacks belief in the possibility of him having the romantic love he wants. he needs mike and wants mike, and for once he really just deserves to get what he wants.

There are no lights turned on in Monkey King's house, not when he's there alone, so he doesn't recieve the warning Stars were 'kind' enough to give them. He simply blinks, closing his eyes on the bed in his house and opening them in the middle of a clearing near his mountain. The night chill seeps into his fur and he blinks again, but the stars above remain the same. He checks his phone for the date and when that doesn't help, checks the message app. Last message is from MK, listed as today's afternoon.

Was his time on the island all a dream? A stress hallucination of some sort (he never had one this long before but who knows)? Or was he really somehow brought to a different world for- what, over a year? - and only returned now, same moment as he left? Well, it doesn't really matter, he supposes. He's home now.

It doesn't matter. Even if it was real, he still always knew that place was a temporary haven (a forced vacation spot, he called it under his breath) and sooner or later he'll have to come back. It shouldn't matter, except-

If it was real, he wonders if Gabriel also returned to his world or if he is still in the city, without him. The idea sends an unexpected pang of pain thorough him. Of course he wouldn't want to be the source of the angel's pain, wouldn't want to inflict the hurt of someone you- care about leaving. But he can't deny that there's more to that. There is no way to control whether he ever goes back to the city. And if he never does, they will never see each other again.

He will never see Gabriel again.

One hand comes up to hold onto his chest when something inside contracts, hurts, bleeds at the thought and he's not going to pretend that he doesn't know what it means. Fuck, he was really trying to avoid that. He was supposed to be more careful- except he wasn't at all, jumping straight into it, blowing past every warning sign as if he didn't know how it will end. Falling for someone means either getting caught or hitting the ground, and maybe one of these days he will stop slamming himself down in front of people he knows can't stay with him.

Ha. As if.

Old rhythms are easy enough to fall into, at least, even when his heart isn't in it. Monkey King works on fixing up his home, takes care of his subjects, hangs out with MK and, on occasion, the rest of the gang. Tries to contact Macaque a couple times to no avail, but that's nothing new - the guy is evasive and likes his space at the best of times. Would've been nice to at least ask if he also remembers the Spiral city or not, but Wukong lets it be. They'll see each other sooner or later.

Even with all the distractions, trying not to think about - well - isn't easy. More than once Wukong catches himself noticing things he'd like to show to Gabriel, places he'd want to take him to. Looks up over his shoulder at nothing, reaches for a hand to hold that isn't there, writes texts to a number that doesn't exist.

He tries to at least not be too obvious about it and fails there too.

("Monkey King, are you ok? You've barely touched your noodles." "I don't know, kid, I... I think I'm in love." "Ooooh, with who? Oh, wait, it's Macaque, isn't it?" "What, no. Well, I mean that- That's a different thing." "Uh-uh, sure. Wait, but who is it then?" "I'd rather not talk about it." "...Okay, if you say so. But that's a good thing, right? I mean, I've never felt it but, yknow, they always say how wonderful love is on TV. Do they love you back?" "Yeah. I think so." "That's great!" He doesn't have the heart to tell the kid that no, it really isn't.)

He knows he shouldn't feel relief when he steps out of his junk treasure room only to tumble into a semi-familiar street of Fibonacci, but he does anyway. Of course, nothing is ever simple in this world (any world, he'd come to learn) and right away he's forced to focus on saving his universe first, and his feelings second.

(He wants to see his angel so bad that it hurts, but he's used to ignoring his own pain for the good of the world. It's fine. He wouldn't be able to rest knowing his home is in danger anyway).

So he seals off all the portals he can find, pulling them closed by force, much like what he did in the scroll except in reverse. Not the most elegant solution but it works, and he really is in a hurry.

Soon enough there is only one portal remaining and he walks through, planning to check for stragglers so nobody who shouldn't be there gets locked in a wrong world. His clones rush off in every direction to cover more ground while he takes off for the Flower Fruit Mountain. The first portal he saw was in there after all and he very much doesn't want to leave anyone in his house who shouldn't be there. Especially not in his treasure junk room.

He's so focused on his task that the sound of water curtains sliding open catches him off-guard (MK? Oh no, were they supposed to train today?). And he barely gets half a second to process what is happening before he's trapped in an embrace that would knock the air out of anyone more mortal than him. Gabriel. Here, in his world, in his home. Looking for him. Hugging him like he thought they would never see each other again. All the tension leaves his body in an instant and he'd fall to the ground if Gabriel wasn't holding him so tightly, if he wasn't clinging back in return. He thinks he says something, a joke probably, anything to stop the burning in his eyes from spilling over in front of-

-oh, right, MK.

"Hey bud, can you wait outside for a second?" Monkey King rasps out, his face, burning hot, pressed against the cool armor. MK, a wonderful kid but not the brightest one, thankfully gets the hint and backs out the entrance with a nigh incomprehensible 'ohoksureuhyoutwotakeyourtimeimjustgonnacallmeiaboutsomethingrealquick'. There is a splash of the waterfall and then they are alone (as alone as you can be, at least, on the mountain). Wukong takes a steadying breath and pulls back, not enough to break the embrace but just enough to see the other's face again, enough to reach up a little and place a kiss on the front of the helmet.

"Missed you too." He smiles, soft and warm and loving before leaning in to press his cheek against Gabriel's. "My angel."

Later, he'll probably have to explain things to MK, and maybe he will have just enough time to take Gabriel on a quick tour of his world before they have to leave. Maybe they'll even have enough time for a quick date, somewhere nice. Maybe they can even sneak into Heaven for a look. And later still, they can go back to the city and spend as much time- ah, what's the point of hiding it anymore- they can spend as much time being in love as the Stars allow them to and it will never be enough and it will always be worth it.

But all that will happen later. Right now, held so tightly by the man he loves, there is no other place he'd rather be.

Okay so. People who have followed me for a while probably know this but to new friends and mutuals and the like here is the August breakdown.

At the end of August are the anniversary dates of 1.) My dads birthday, 2.) My mom and dads wedding anniversary, and 3.) The day my dad passed away from cancer. All in one week! I was 2 weeks away from being 2 years old when it happened, and 23 years later it still feels like an open wound. And your body has muscle memory for grief yknow? So it hurts so much worse every August. My mom and sisters and i all get so depressed,, we try to make the best of things and celebrate his life how we can but it's so hard. It's so sososo hard. I honestly can't talk about him at all without sobbing (Currently crying as I type this up even 😭)

Please understand that August is an extremely hard time for my family, and because of that I may be online very little- or maybe I'll be on a lot more than usual! I really don't know! I don't know what will end up being best so we will see.

That being said I always joke that August is "birthday prep month" because of my birthday on September 17th- of which I also have some trauma surrounding that date as well (my first psych ward visit was late at night on the 16th- spent my 13th birthday in the ward) so expect me to be like. Annoying about being excited for my birthday? It's how I counteract the extreme amounts of negative emotions surrounding the next couple of weeks. Oh also especially becus this year on September 16th marks an official 10 years since my last psych ward visit so like. Yea!! That's what's going on !!!!

Nightmare Polycule: The cirsed creation of like. 4 people on a niche fandom discord. Polycule consisting of pretty much every adult character in the series. It's awful and somehow the best thing ever. The potential for both crack and angst is unmatched. The divorced parents energy is OFF THE CHARTS. Marcia realizes she is a morosexual and has a crisis about it. Gringe confronts his prejudices by falling for a no-good wizard. Jillie Djinn is Marcia's ex and also dead and also GHOSTING ON HER COUCH which makes it very hard to bring her boyfriends over. Marcellus tries to be dramatic about the fleetingness of human life (except his) and gets made fun of until he confronts his trauma instead. Sarah and Mrs Gringe are having tea and getting a break from the drama.

Nokia/Ami: (spoilers for the game) all the fan stuff ive seen for the game is painfully straight unless its focusing on the two ships where one character is canonically gay n in love with the other (protag of the sequel game with his gay bestie i forgot the name of n yuuko/fei) n ami is usually just drawn on her own BUT theres a lot of canon subtext between nokia n ami mostly as a result of not much actually changing based on if u play as a boy or a girl regardless nokia to some extent likes ami she flirts with her talks about their relationship as if theyre already dating theres a scene that parallels a m/f couple in the game that plays exactly the same between ami n nokia with two other characters saying something along the lines of ah young love during a mandatory side quest ami gets offered an implied sex doll that looks exactly like nokia (weird story there the quest ends with it being heavily implied that the people that take the dolls end up having their organs harvested while their minds are stuck in a digital space called eden unaware that theyre not in the real world) n she has to think about it before declining the offer nokia's character arc is working to become a strong leader n reliable friend cause she wants to stand next to ami instead of relying on her theyre childhood friends but forgot about it ok i need to explain a bit more of the story so like as kids ami n nokia along with three other characters met beta testing for eden n one of them ended up getting eden syndrome to make sure theyre all able to leave safely (theres a thing called eaters that if u get eaten by put u in a coma cause theyre storing the contents of ur brain in them) n a guy who wants to use the eaters to get to the next stage of evolution removes their memories of the incident so years later as teenagers ami nokia n arata (one of the childhood friends important to the story but not to the ship) become friends again n reunite on eden where ami ends up getting eden syndrome but in a funky way cause she was logging out as she got eaten so she has a cyber body that over the course of the game deteriorates n at the end of the game ami basically dies right as everything is being fixed all the victims of eden syndrome are no longer comatose but ami is cause yknow kind of deteriorated too much n it happened right in front of nokia's eyes as she reached out for her hand so they could go home together n nokia cries for the only time in the game cause of that but ive genuinely never seen any fan stuff of them interacting so despite them being teased romantically n built up as being really important to eachother theres nothing not even like nokia with takumi (boy protagonist) im submitting it specifically as nokia/ami just cause i like wlw ships more if u want to do it neutrally protag's surname regardless of gender is aiba sorry if this is incoherent its been like 6 months since ive played the game
