As a foreigner who lives in America, it saddens me how few fairy things there are.

Fairy lights are "string lights"??

Fairy cakes and fairy bread just... don't exist? People don't know what they are???

I was recently reminded that cupcakes can also be called “fairy cakes”, so I am now curious if any of the fairy boys have tried cupcakes before? If so, so they have a favorite type of cake and/or frosting?

I have to imagine Sun would be overjoyed to have one and could easily eat the whole thing (despite it being nearly as big as him), but how would Moon and Lunar react?

Sun has eaten cupcakes before! He thinks they are delicious! He's tried to get Moon to try one, but his brother is so off-put by how sweet cupcakes are that it gives him a stomachache just looking at one. Lunar would maybe try the icing but that's about it.

Sunny likes chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing.

hello mint! :> they're also known as 'british butterfly cakes' ʚїɞ they're like small cupcakes (small enough for fairies to enjoy perhaps hehe 🧚🏼‍♀️) but instead of there being a lot of buttercream/frosting and stuff they usually just have a thin layer of icing like this:

but they can also look like these ones:

which are meant to look like butterfly wings! ʚїɞ I'm half british/my dad's from england so I've been making these as long as I can remember! we used to bake ones with rainbow icing together when i was little that we called "regnbågs muffins" (rainbow muffins) it's one of my favourite memories ^^ ♡ ʚїɞ I actually hadn't even tried a cupcake until I started baking them a few years ago lol I only had fairy cakes & muffins growing up :> ♡♡♡
