absolutely crazy that taylor swift currently has so many billboard hits when the lyrics are not just corny and cliche but PLAYED!!!! “cat eyeliner sharp enough to kill a man” was verbatim the type of posts you’d see here in 2011 in pink banners tagged #feministaf until we had a reckoning with the idea of weaponized femininity and decided that this isn’t actually helpful. but some mug or throw pillow impulse purchased on red bubble somehow made its way to an ironic la thrift store and collected dust until it fell into taylor swifts lap and she was struck with her new hit song for the year of our lord 2022.

I want to see more diversity for role models for girls

I want to see strong women, I want to see women in STEM, I want to see smart women, I want to see women who tell girls they can look however they want, I want to see women who tell girls to use their voices to stand up for what they believe in, I want to see women who inspire girls to follow their goals, to never give up, to never back down

It feels like we only show girls women who can tell us how to wake up pretty and I don’t want that

one of my friends just told me that one of her guy friends thought all girls were lying about periods just so we can have an excuse to be emotional.

yeah sure all girls just made up this science behind periods, sell pads and tampons for no reason, make full apps for tracking periods, and make up certain dates for when we're on our period

just so we have an excuse be emotional for 3-7 days???

anyone who thinks periods are fake things that women made up just so people will feel bad for us for a few days proves how fucking sexist some people are.

society's perfect women are painted to be people who obey without complaints. real, human women should be able to show emotion without being called a crazy bitch who's probably on her period.

let women be fucking human.

so yeah. periods aren't fake and they aren't excuses for being emotional.

being human is the excuse for having emotions.

‪Only 30% graduate from high school.‬

‪40- 50% of foster children become homeless 18 months after leaving care.‬

25% are involved in criminal activities within 2 years of leaving care

In short, it’s fucking hard to have a good life and be a foster child. What are the pro lifers doing about it? Nada.

Edit: y’all seem to think that I was pushing a pro choice message. Hm. Did I point out a plot hole or something? I’m simply stating that most pro lifers seem to think the foster system is an easy solution, but don’t actually care what happens in it. So I ask, what are you doing to improve the lives of the things you find so presious?
