now that i have a second to breath from how busy december was i can make the post i meant to so long ago.

i really like this part of the panel gerard did, i think his humour was really shining through and it was nice to see him so comfortable and himself.

and it puts into context the pb and j sandwiches frank was posting on instagram. i think it’s another reminder of how deeply sentimental he is and how he will capture those symbols of moments that matter to him such as spending time with the band and post them for himself. it doesn’t matter if fans don’t have the context for it, it is for himself because it matters to him. (and people in the know). we probably don’t know the story behind a lot of the things that he posts.

Hello! Thank you so much for liking my stuff it means a lot and thank you especially liking my Kid stuff! I always find him an interesting balance of mean but caring that makes him fun to write.💚💚

Now down to brass tacks these boys are both disasters in my mind in the sense that dealing with this doesn’t come natural to them and hopefully I can explain it well.

Law

Honestly he’s going to just stare at his partner like he just heard the dumbest thing. Now I need to stress this man didn’t mean to make his partner feel worse or dumb but in his head it feels reversed. He’s the one that can be irritable, thick headed, and at times emotionally stuck so he’s the one that doesn’t deserve them.

He takes a moment collecting himself and starts awkwardly, probably patting them on the shoulder before asking why? He wants to know if it’s something he’s done or maybe a vibe he’s giving off.He always been better at listening than leading these shorts of conversations.

He listens and lets them air out their feelings, he logically breaks down their points working through their feelings. It helps him too in a way to gain a better understanding of what he’s possibly done or what he can do better for them.

This is how he comforts them or hopes to comfort them. If he can break it down and show them that yes their feelings do mean something but that they are not necessarily true that they are worthy of him. He isn't the type to really hug or hold them but he does reach over and take their hand in his own holding on throughout the talk.

Kid

Just straight up makes an angry confused noise because in his mind they're dating? So why don’t they feel like they're not enough, do they think he’d date just anyone?

In a very Kid way he is confrontational he cares a lot it’s very I’m going to throw hands at your sad thoughts which devolves into a strange shouting contest of compliments? It keeps going well into the night till the two of them short of forgot what this was even about in the first place and just lay there on the floor of Kids cabin.

The two of them lie there staring up at the ceiling feeling the waves rock the boat and Kid just softly tells them “ I love you.” Before quickly turning away ear a little red over how tenderly he spoke.

Logan watches Patton slump over and start mumbling.

"Egg... eggnog..."

He covers his mouth, holding back peals of laughter.

"Put the cereal in station: My mouth."

Logan snorts.

Pattons looks at him. "What? Did I say something funny?"

Logan's voice cracks as he says "No?"

Patton smiles. "I'm just a silly goofy guy~"

Logan giggles. "I- yes, yes you are. Um-"

Patton tickles his sides, causing Logan to erupt into laughter.

"Pahahaton- I'm trying to hypnotize youhouhou! St-" He snorts, dropping the pendant. "Stahahap!"

Patton giggles. "But I wanna tickle! I wanna hear your pretty laugh looogaaan~"

Logan reaches wildly for the pendant. "Paha- Dahahad! Nohoho!"

Patton gasps, as Logan curls up. "...dad?"

Logan goes beet red, snatching the pendant. "A- anyways, focus on my-"

Patton moves it out of the way to look at Logan. "Did you just call me dad?"

Logan squeaks. "Uh, no? We should really focus on the hypnosis. And not..."

Patton claps and squeals. "Yay!!! I'm dad! I knew it!"

Logan sighs. He grabs the pendant, and starts swinging it again. "Now... focus. I only need your focus. Just let my voice guide you into a blissful, quiet trance. Whenever I say "quiet time", you will return to this state."

Patton breathes through his mouth, drooling a little.

"Understand?"

"Uhuh."

Logan pushes his shoulder. "Sleep."

Fwomph. Patton falls forward, sleeping peacefully. Logan plays with his hair until his breathing evens out, eventually laying with him, and falling asleep too.
