hi i ride motorcycle year round and wanted to chime in. for vasco's small around-town trips he'd probably be fine with his ears free, but for longer trips at higher speeds or when its cold out he'd want them protected. probably by tucking them under his chin into the collar of a jacket and then putting a scarf or bandana on. also goggles would be helpful if a full helmet wasn't wanted. since they're in europe and around italy specifically he could have a nice ducati (fast rockety sport bikes) or a cafe racer (much more like a motorized bicycle but they can still have a lot of power) a cafe racer would offer a lot of seat space for machete to be thoroughly uncomfortable in lol

I've never riden a motorcycle so I wouldn't even know where to begin #the ears tucked under the jacket collar is a smart way to go about it #having hard time choosing a bike for him there's too many options #it looks like lots of ducatis have a very sleek and sporty vibe to them #loving the bright colors and the shapely design #cafe racers on the other hand come across as iconic looking to me and could potentially have a sort of vintage aura which I personally like #and the flat topline (I'm sorry I don't possess the right vocabulary for these things) that some of them have is visually pleasing #they'd be a nightmare to draw though since the frame is a lot less covered and there's a ton of complex mechanical detail in the midsection #bike viscera if you will #I don't know but it's fun to think about #thank you for chiming in! this was genuinely helpful #answered #anonymous #modern au

I've been obsessed with vintage comics lately, and I wanted to try out a new colouring style, so here is a redux of Day 19 of my Spocktober/Trektober 2023, Tribbles!

The one on the left has curly fur and is smaller than the other two. It is coloured blonde, and has one prominent curl right at the top of it, similar to a certain starship captain's...

The one in the middle, behind the other two, has glossy straight black fur and is taller than the other two. Its fur ends in a severe line, like Vulcan bangs.

The third tribble is about as big as the middle one, only this one has dark brown, messier, more layered fur. Its fur is swept to the left, much like Doctor McCoy's.

Wiggly lines indicate they are all purring or trilling as tribbles do, and three cartoon hearts float above them. The two tribbles on either end are spilling out slightly over the border of the drawing. The background is a light blue at the top, fading into lavender underneath them. Their shadows are purple, and the white paper of the borders is aged and yellowy. The layers of colour (cyan, yellow, magenta) are made up of tiny dots, and are offset slightly, creating chromatic aberration.

The Barbie movie is amazing but the ignorance of certain people who just wanna hop on the trend and don't care about learning/researching the doll's history it brought all over the internet really shows (long unasked for rant in the tags/rb)

#Dollbr #Barbie #I know a lot of people just want to have fun but especially on youtube there's a lot of them who just buy dolls to get attention #Since now Barbie is a trend #And they don't even bother to get certain information right-#Like for example A LOT of people mistake reproductions for legit vintage dolls (don't get me started on that damn 1994 number 1 repro)#And it's sad because they also get scammed and tricked easily when buying them because scalpers take advantage of their ignorance #But it would be really easy to just search up the signs to recognize a genuine number 1 Barbie (which is REALLY hard to come by anyway)#(You WON'T find a legit number 1 on ebay or mercari. It's easier to come across her in irl auctions or by contacting collectors)#As someone who's been super invested in Barbie's lore and history since childhood it hurts me to see so much misinformation
