#thank you for chiming in! this was genuinely helpful

hi i ride motorcycle year round and wanted to chime in. for vasco's small around-town trips he'd probably be fine with his ears free, but for longer trips at higher speeds or when its cold out he'd want them protected. probably by tucking them under his chin into the collar of a jacket and then putting a scarf or bandana on. also goggles would be helpful if a full helmet wasn't wanted. since they're in europe and around italy specifically he could have a nice ducati (fast rockety sport bikes) or a cafe racer (much more like a motorized bicycle but they can still have a lot of power) a cafe racer would offer a lot of seat space for machete to be thoroughly uncomfortable in lol
i love your ocs they're great thanks for all the cool art :)

ur highschool bully gojo was chefs kiss 💋 what do u think about them going to the same college and taking the same classes?? and the reader sitting next/talking to some other guy and satoru gets jealous?? arwahhhshdhshshs so many possibilities, i hope u continue writing it!!
hi nonnie !! thank you so much :) this is ur official part 2 ! i was struggling to think up some possibilities but this helped a lot :oo | read part 1 here ! -> cw: swearing, jealousy, i let it get fic length oops
(former) highschoolbully!gojo on the brain again… like. when you end up seeing him again however many months later, and you can tell that he’s changed. it’s not like its immediately obvious to anyone who doesn’t really know him like you (used to); but he’s a little softer-spoken and his smiles seem nine times more genuine. it’s not a hundred percent; the kind that really lights up his face instead of just barely falling short of his stark blue eyes, but it's something.
of course, you have nothing to base it off of, because when you do inevitably see him again it's the very definition of meet ugly.
college is a new frontier, but its also a clean slate. its your first time going into something so new without your old bestfriend at your side, but some faint flickering thought reminds you that it might be better that way. but the universe is against you from the very first day, when youre gettin yourself some coffee from the same chain you did the morning of that fateful presentation so many moons ago. you're too busy thinking to yourself what kind of strange parting ritual it is to relive your trauma to notice the lanky, white-haired boy who hits his head on the chiming bell over the doorway. people are giggling around you n sighing dreamily but youre too deep in the music pumping through your headphones to notice and your eyes are glued to the class schedule on your phone, trying to ensure you dont get lost on the first day when—
you blink and your ass is flat on the dirty floor of the coffee shop, and the first thing you register is that your stomach is soaked and burning. you'd spilled your coffee. it takes you a moment to realize, but when you do you're pissed. so you quickly get to your feet, trying to reign in what little of your ego you have left to give the offender who bumped into you a piece of your mind as you look up, then..
how unlucky do you have to be?
just like that, satoru's slid himself back into your life, after ramming through its locked gates. you forget that he always forgets the point of keys, both when it comes to his apartment (which you still have the spare key of in case of emergencies), and the door to your heart. to rub salt in the wound, the only thing that's stained with your coffee order are his shoes, which look like they cost three weeks of your old job salary, but it's all over your shirt. of course it is. because why not? make it look like you tripped and fell into a patch of mud on your way to the lecture hall and tack on an unwelcome reunion with your ex-bestfriend.
to you, it's like the cloud of gloom from your highschool youth has resettled over your head like a swarm of gnats on a dreary, hot summer day. the stars always seem to skew and misalign themselves for you. but for satoru, the stars have handed him one of those huge swirly lollipops that you only ever see being paraded about by toddlers. he recovers almost instantly, trading the burn on his feet and the way it sours your expression like he's just squirted pure citric acid into your throat for a pleasant burn of his own on his cheeks. but it's whatever. girls seem to like it when he blushes, for some reason. he won't question it, if it works on the only one he cares about.
he holds his hand out, ready to help you out like the good samaritan he's become— and it's like a real burn to his heart this time when you ignore it and stand up on your own, refusing to look up and meet his pleading gaze. might as well have taken an iron stoker right out of the fire and jabbed him with it. but he's gojo satoru! he won't be defeated by this one mere, maybe very significant reunion. he's got stamina.
so he offers to buy you a new drink, feels his heart sink when you shake your head (can't even spare a little 'no' in his direction), and talks enough for the both of you when you leave the dingy little store make your way down to campus and the lecture building. you clearly don't want to see him, but he ignores that in exchange to notice the way you shiver every so often. the previously searing-hot coffee that stains your shirt turns cold fast, and moisture n wind don't mix well. he wishes he could offer you some of his own warm coffee, no doubt sickeningly sweet, but he has some sensitivity now, apparently. so, in a brash moment, he decides to take his blazer off and drape it over your shoulders instead.
when you cross the threshold between city and campus, you expect him to yank it off your back and be on his merry way. but he keeps walking next to you, so you walk a little faster, and you absolutely loathe the cheeky little grin that curves the corners of his lips up to show a glint of teeth when he effortlessly keeps up. you curse his long legs when you find yourself winded, but at least you can lose him when you get there.
or, that's what you think. once again, your constellations break themselves to rebuild anew for satoru. you're about to call him a stalker when he follows you all the way to your classroom with that smirk that's growing exponentially until— oh, no.
your phone that's been on the schedule up until now desperately scrolls to the roster— and there it is. he's in your class. needless to say, not another word goes between you as you stomp in and take a seat. luckily for you, you've already corresponded with your roommate's brother (who's annoyingly cute, satoru notices) and agreed to sit next to each other. satoru takes the seat right above you and never stops kicking his freakishly long legs against the wood the entire time.
so yeah, it's obvious he's not a saint; he still has that undoable ego and he's cocky as fuck (as you have the misfortune of finding out when he quickly bullies your professor), but there's a certain familiarity in that no matter how ugly it might appear to others. and if you asked (which he really, really hopes you will someday), he doesn't hang around douchebags who use kids' foreheads for ashtrays and treat girls like they're candy from a glittery pez dispenser. and at least he's switched harassment targets. even though he has an overwhelming sense of superiority over others and never has his lips together for more than five seconds, and even though he has this hellish habit of clicking his pen whenever he's not talking (or when someone else is), it seems like he's changed.
and over time, you gradually find yourself warming up to him. the spunkiness that used to get on your nerves ceaselessly becomes an object of endearment, and you don't really mind the way he never seems to stop moving anymore. it's a nice sort of distraction in the lifeless still of the lecture hall, albeit the pen clicking still drives you near insanity. you notice he always does it obnoxiously and quickly when you're talking to your roommate's brother, but you ignore it.
and for satoru? he hates that he can kinda sorta really tell that you're the only one who can read him like he's a damn book, cus you slowly start to soften up in the nostalgia of his presence like cold playdough between warm fingers that tell you he may have finally caught you again after letting you slip the first time. and he notices it. this time, he's determined not to let you be the one that got away again. but youre really giving him a shit time outta it with the way you constantly entertain the guy who always has his breath in your face.
yeah, he's got a cute face that's sunkissed by freckles. yeah, his hair looks like he models for shampoo companies. and fuck, he has a nice voice. but what of it? satoru's the one with the mesmerizing blue irises and the cloudy white hair your professor wishes he had instead of sad little wisps of old age. still, as chilly days turn into frigid weeks, he gets the perfect backseat angle of the growing relationship between the two of you. the boy's kinda dumb so you copy off of satoru’s work when you need to (he has to hide the 1-0 scoreboard between him and the guy on a sticky note from you when you take his notes), but said guy’s always buying you stuff and lending you erasers and laughing when you flick the shavings at the annoying girl who never stops whispering in the front of the room.
satoru tries to act unbothered, and he almost convinces everyone. including himself. but the angry, burning knot in his chest that's entirely different from coffee stains suggests something more. that should be him at your side. him, making balls of paper with rude scribbles and silly doodles to throw at the people he knows you don't like. him, surprising you with little gifts and the cheap trinkets he knows you adore so much instead of all the luxury things he could afford. there's no way this punk could possibly measure up to him, right? but at least you and satoru are well on your way to becoming friends again. not as close as you used to be, but it's something. substantial. and he's learned to be patient in the time you've been gone.
but he'd be lying through his teeth if he said he wasn't tired of it. he’s endlessly plagued with thoughts of increasing intensity— first, it starts out with just you. only you. the way he likes it. the way he likes your face, and your pretty eyes and your gorgeous lips and your soft hair and your figure and the complimenting clothes you wear. but it takes a turn; thoughts turn into dreams that turn into fantasies and he's lying when he says he doesn't enjoy them when he accidentally lets it slip during a group study session— and it’s all fine— but then, that guy appears. the brat who seems to sit a centimeter closer to you with each coming day. not only does he haunt satoru in real life, he’s tormenting his dreams, too. tainting the image of beautiful you.
needless to say, satoru starts to wake up with his hands gripping his damp pillow like he's choking it, acutely aware of the sweat sliding down his neck and over his chest as he stares up at the ceiling, listening to the dorm's air conditioner run and thinking of what it'd be like for dreams (the ones where he replaces the boy) to become reality.
it's a buildup. and soon, he reaches the apex; it's like a rollercoaster, that stomach-twisting moment when you reach the top of the rail that points to the steep descent downward. but this time, he hopes it's a thrill he gets instead of the usual falling fright; the one he got when he realized he’d slipped between your fingers in highschool.
and satoru finally comes to a grinding halt at the top of the ride one breezy fall day when he decides he wants you back in his life after you smile brightly at him and wave goodbye for the day. he’s tired of you having one foot in and one foot out of his heart; he wants, needs more. he always has, he realizes.
so he’s thinking about you and how to approach the feelings he’s realized during those long lectures, and one morning he comes up with some semblance of a plan when he’s high on the sugar from the fruit tea you bought him that morning. and he hopes that, by the end of it, he'll leave your apartment with your hand in his currently empty one, chilled with the remnants of cold condensation from the bottle.
soon enough, satoru finds himself extinguishing his nerves and raising a tense fist to knock on the door with nothing but the clothes on his back and a flimsy plan to ask you out on a midterm study sesh and maybe even a date, but he stops when he realizes it’s slightly ajar. a brief thought of what look might be on your face when he surprises you crosses his mind, so he lets himself in quietly, because he knows every single floorboard that creaks like the back of his palm from his childhood. he’s hit with a wave of warmth and an achingly familiar scent that twists at his heart, and your apartment is cozy and safe and it screams you and he thinks he catches sight of his jacket slung across the back of the couch in your living room, but he’s not sure so he takes a step forward and—
he’s greeted with the sight of that stupid guy with the nice hair and the freckles, and it makes his heart drop. but even worse, he’s kissing you and his arms are winding around your waist but you’re kissing him back with a slight hesitation that’s blinded to satoru by his shock and the fingers he thought would end up in his own tonight card through the boy’s hair and your lips glisten with the strawberry-kiwi flavored gloss he watched the boy give you a few days back and his world is turning red and he feels like his throat is constricting and he can’t breathe—
and he doesn’t even realize you’ve parted lips and you’re calling his name through the newfound tightness of his chest and the painful ringing in his ears thats even louder than any silence of a lecture hall, or the void that should’ve been filled with your voice during the time you were apart. but now satoru realizes he’d take that any fucking chance to have that again because it’s so much better than what he’s stuck with now. having you, but not really having you, because you’re there but you’re someone else’s and you’re not his and he isn’t yours. the best thing he could ever hope for was for you to own an article of his clothing and a piece of his shattered heart, broken into a million fragments. some cruel voice in his buzzing head reminds him to change the scoreboard to 0-100.
and he could buy you cheap hot coffee or earn your smiles from scrunched up paper balls or even hear your laugh with crude jokes, but there’s no point when he realizes he can’t buy you with caffeine or earn you with hitting the back of people’s heads with his bio notes or have you and your laugh all to himself anymore.
it’s almost pathetic, the way satoru’s voice cracks and changes. the look of unadulterated concern on the face of the boy who stole your lips just adds fuel to the fire.
“gojo? what are you doing here— hey, are you okay? you look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
he noticed you’d stopped calling him satoru a few weeks back. he should’ve seen it coming.
“huh? oh, yeah. i’m good. i think you’re the one hallucinating.”
he’d never told a bigger lie in his life.
satoru had left after excusing himself for intruding. how very unlike him to be so polite, you think.
so in the end, he leaves your apartment with something in his hand, after all. but it's not your own— just his blazer that you’d given back to him before he stepped out the door, taunting him with the faint scent of coffee and lingering perfume. his hope was foolish, so it seems. it’s too bad, he thinks. if it were him, he would’ve sandwiched you against your counter while he kissed. but it wasn’t. apparently, it was your turn for your stars to align at the price of his.
and so, gojo satoru, the boy force-turned man with a chipped ego and a completely broken heart, loses you again.
bonus bonus.. part 2….

hotel check-ins
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: idol!lee minho x f!reader genre: established relationship, fluff requested?: yes warnings: cuteness, slight suggestiveness towards the end, poor attempts at me trying to be funny, lowercase intended word count: 1.0k note: (did i add three different lee know pics because i don't know how to find three from the same shoot...maybe). thank you @starfire21 for the request. i hope i did it justice. now playing - billie bossa nova ♡
as the girlfriend of a kpop idol, you’ve become somewhat of a pro at navigating security.
badge check? easy. safety briefing? lightwork (no reaction). being inconspicuous? you got a couple side-eyes from the hotel receptionists at the sunglasses and mask obscuring your face, but it’s nothing you haven’t handled before.
the only trouble you had was using the codename minho texted you after the concert to obtain his suite number from the front desk. in fact, it’s the first thing you gripe about after your boyfriend whisks you inside the room the two of you will reside in for the night.
“really? ‘lee jisung?’ who chose that?”
“i did.”
“shocker.”
“i know. i wanted ‘lee know is cute’ but they said no,” minho replies casually, a smile illuminating his face.
the sigh you let out is mostly for show at this point, in contrast to the no longer suppressed grin you display in return. you can’t even pretend to be annoyed at the man who tugged you through the doorway after a singular knock.
minho’s hand still gently holds your wrist, and he uses this to his advantage to pull you closer to him. a synchronized “oof” leaves both of your lips as you collide into his chest, taken aback by his unexpected strength. light laughter fills the otherwise silent room as you settle into a familiar embrace.
his arms traverse to your waist, guiding your body to nestle further against his. wrapping your arms around his neck, you rest your cheek on his collarbone, tilting your head slightly to press a tender kiss to the underside of his jaw.
the scent of minho’s shampoo fills your senses as your hand roams through his semi-dry hair. from this angle, you can tell that his stage makeup has been carefully wiped off for the night, revealing the small, beautiful imperfections you love oh so much.
“i missed you,” you mumble, breaking the comfortable silence.
“i missed you too” minho breathes, squeezing your frame tighter, “the door was unlocked, you know? you could’ve just walked in.”
“aw, poor baby,” you coo teasingly, pulling back slightly to face him, “it must’ve been torture to be without me for so long.”
“you say that as if it wasn’t the same for you,” he retorts lightly, moving his hands to rest on your hips. you can’t help the laughter that escapes you as he gently shakes you in place in retaliation. as if you would ever feel otherwise.
you reach up to pinch his cheek, smile growing even wider at his feigned disgruntled expression fighting (and losing) against the tugging at the corners of his lips.
“stay would be so jealous right now if they knew about this,” you say once you’ve calmed down enough.
“about what?”
“this side of you.”
the small, genuine smile adorning his face at your words. the light dusting of blush across his cheeks that reaches the tips of his ears. the post-concert afterglow still lingering on his expression, eyes flickering over your features ever so slightly more than normal. the way he tries to act nonchalant as he brings his face closer to yours.
the side only you get to see.
“mm, too bad for them then,” minho whispers. his breath intertwines with yours at his proximity, stopping a breadth away from your mouth. just a little closer. “i’m yours.”
“yeah, you’re mine,” you murmur, moving forward to close the distance between your lips.
small chimes emitting from his pajama short’s pocket compel you to plant a tiny peck on the corner of his mouth instead, slowly pulling away as he attempts to chase your lips.
“aren't you going to check that, min?” you ask, chuckling at his soft protests from the denied affection.
a cute pout forms on his face, accompanied by furrowed brows, as one of his hands releases your hip to dig his phone out of his pocket. your thumb brushes over his cheekbone as he stares at the phone before turning it off and tossing the small device over his shoulder. quiet thuds echo around the room as it lands and bounces on the hotel bed.
wait. what?
“min–”
your words are interrupted by minho’s soft, moisturized lips enveloping your own. your eyes flutter shut as he allows you to take the lead, slowly brushing your lips against his, savoring the taste of fresh mint on his tongue. minho deepens the kiss, grabbing your palm cradling his cheek and holding it flat against his chest, right above his heart—where you always reside.
minho’s pupils are blown out when you pull away for air, which you have no doubt mirrors your own. heavy breaths mingle together as you both try to regain composure. his heart beats widely beneath your touch and you’re unable to resist the heat spreading across your cheeks at the effect you have on him.
“could that have been important?” you question, glancing over at the phone resting behind him.
“maybe,” minho shugs. his eyes trail back down to your lips, drawing you in again for a heated kiss. “not more important than you though.”
his heart still pulses erratically under the press of your hand. you meet his half-lidded gaze with a smile, letting your eyes wander across his slightly swollen lips and flushed cheeks. you push the bangs that fell into his face out of his eyes, giving a teasing kiss to the tip of his nose.
well played.
“i take it you still have energy leftover?” you smirk, already knowing the answer. “need any help with that?”
minho’s eyes widen, his grasp on your hips tightening as a shiver runs down his spine. you didn’t think his heart could beat any faster.
“the walls aren’t soundproof. chan will break down the door.”
“maybe you should go lock it then.”
minho’s never moved faster in his life.

Head Over Heels
Charles Leclerc x Vasseur!Reader x Carlos Sainz
Summary: in which Charles and Carlos are head over heels for you and you’re still painfully oblivious despite their best efforts
Warnings: this is a poly fic, overwhelming amounts of fluff
Tumblr media
“Hey, Y/N! You’ve got a delivery!”
You look up, confused, as one of the mechanics hands over a beautifully wrapped bouquet. The vibrant pink roses and lilies contrast strikingly against the red of the Ferrari motorhome.
“For me? Who’s it from?” You ask, genuinely puzzled.
The attached card is simple: For someone who lights up the track without even racing.
“Must be from a sponsor or someone thanking Dad,” you muse aloud, inhaling the fragrant bouquet.
Your father, Fred Vasseur, chuckles from a few steps away, “A sponsor, you think?”
You nod, genuinely convinced, “Who else?”
Charles, emerging from his cool-down session after practice, spots you with the flowers. His heart does a little jolt, hoping you’d recognize his gesture. “Those are beautiful,” he comments, trying to sound casual.
“They are, aren’t they?” You beam, holding them out to let him get a better look. “I think they’re from a sponsor or something. It’s a nice touch.”
A small, knowing smile tugs at Charles’ lips but he just nods. “Very thoughtful of them.”
Your father watches the exchange with an amused smirk, clearly catching on to Charles’ hidden intentions. He leans in to whisper to the Monegasque driver, “You sure you want to keep it anonymous, Leclerc?”
Charles shrugs but there’s a hint of red on his cheeks, “I thought it’d be more … romantic? But I didn’t think she would be this oblivious.”
Your father chuckles, patting Charles on the back, “Give it time, son.”
The day continues and you go about your tasks, occasionally stopping to admire the flowers, still clueless about their real origin. Everyone around seems to be sharing knowing glances and subtle nudges.
Carlos, having heard about Charles’ gesture, approaches you. “Heard you got a surprise today,” he comments playfully.
You nod, beaming, “Yeah, a pleasant one. It’s always nice to be appreciated, even if it’s indirectly.”
Charles, overhearing, sighs from a distance. “I need to up my game,” he murmurs to himself.
***
“Morning, Y/N! I brought you something.”
You glance up from your paperwork to find Carlos holding out a steaming cup of coffee and a beautifully wrapped pastry. You can’t help but smile, already salivating.
“Thanks, Carlos. This is such a treat! How do you always know where to find the best coffee and pastries?”
Carlos shrugs, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he smiles, “Oh, you know. Just lucky, I guess.”
Your father watches the exchange from a distance, laughing softly. “Carlos sure seems to have a knack for pleasing your taste buds,” he teases as he approaches.
Rolling your eyes playfully, you reply, “He’s just being friendly, Dad. Everyone loves a good pastry, right?”
Your father just raises an eyebrow, sipping his own coffee, “If you say so.”
Carlos, seeing an opportunity, chimes in, “Actually, I’ve been exploring the local bakeries in each city. You know, trying to find the best treats.” He pauses for a second, cheeks reddening ever-so-slightly, “Glad you like them.”
It’s a small confession but enough to get a teasing cheer from some of the mechanics nearby. You just laugh, assuming it’s part of the team's usual banter. “You’re too dedicated, Carlos! Thanks for always thinking of me.”
Carlos chuckles, his eyes betraying a hint of something deeper, “Anything for a … friend.”
Later, as you’re engrossed in your work, Charles passes by, subtly observing the pastry and coffee by your side. He exchanges a brief, understanding look with Carlos.
“You know,” Charles says casually, taking a seat opposite you, “Carlos wakes up an hour early just to find these for you.”
You blink, surprised, “Really?”
Charles nods, smirking, “Ask anyone here. They’ve seen him race off, rain or shine.”
Your heart swells with appreciation. “I had no idea,” you whisper, truly touched.
Carlos, overhearing, intervenes with a chuckle, “Leclerc, stop making it sound so dramatic! I just … like to start my day with a good treat, that’s all."
You smile warmly, taking a sip of your coffee, “You’re such a good friend, Carlos. I’m lucky to have you looking out for me like this.”
Carlos nods, swallowing down a hint of disappointment, “Always, Y/N. Just looking out for a friend, right?”
Your father passing by, catches the tail end of the conversation. He winks at Carlos, teasing, “Oh, absolutely. Just a friend.”
Carlos shoots him a mock glare but there’s a smirk on his lips. “Exactly. Just doing what any good friend would do.”
You laugh, completely missing the underlying tension, “Well, here’s to more coffee-filled mornings. Thanks, friend.”
Carlos raises his cup in a mock toast, “To friendship.” But there’s a certain longing in his eyes, a silent hope that someday friendship might evolve into something more.
***
“Y/N, have you ever thought of getting behind the wheel?”
You glance up from your notes, finding Charles leaning against your desk, a mischievous glint in his eye. You laugh, “Of a race car? Surely you’re joking.”
He shrugs, an inviting smirk on his face, “Who better to teach you than a Ferrari driver?”
Your eyebrows shoot up in surprise. “Are you offering?”
Charles nods. “Why not? It’ll be fun and maybe you’ll get a new appreciation for what we do.”
You consider it. “Alright, when?”
“How about after tomorrow’s practice session? The track will be free.”
Carlos, overhearing the conversation, interjects, “Planning some secret training without me?” His tone is playful but there’s an underlying hint of jealousy.
Charles grins, “Just thought I’d offer our friend here a little taste of the track life.”
You chuckle, “Don’t worry, Carlos. If I crash, I promise I’ll come to you for my second lesson.”
Carlos smirks, “I’ll hold you to that.”
The following day, after the practice session, you find yourself clad in a racing suit, helmet in hand, feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves. Charles approaches, looking much more confident than you feel.
“Ready?” He asks, voice full of anticipation.
You nod, gulping down your anxiety. “As I’ll ever be.”
The next hour is a blur of acceleration, sharp turns, and the roar of the engine. Charles proves to be a patient and encouraging teacher, guiding you through the intricacies of handling a race car. The adrenaline, the rush, and the sheer power of the machine are intoxicating.
At one point, as you glide around a particularly challenging curve, Charles whoops in delight from the passenger seat, “That’s it, Y/N! You’re a natural!”
Your laughter rings out, pure and genuine, “Maybe I’ve found my new calling.”
As the session comes to an end and the two of you climb out of the car, Carlos approaches, clapping. “Not bad for a rookie,” he teases.
You playfully shove him, “Thanks to my excellent instructor here.”
Charles laughs, ruffling your hair, “You were great, seriously.”
Carlos nods in agreement, “I guess I’ll be out of a job soon.”
You roll your eyes, “One lesson and suddenly I’m a pro? You flatter me. But seriously, this was amazing. Truly. Thank you for sharing this with me.”
Charles grins, “Anytime. And remember, there’s always more to learn.”
Carlos smirks, “And more instructors available, just in case.”
You laugh, “I’ll keep that in mind. For now, let’s celebrate me not crashing the car!”
As you all head off, you link arms with Charles, “You know, for a moment there, I felt the thrill you must feel during races. Thanks for being such a good friend and showing me that world.”
Charles smiles softly, a pang of both happiness and a touch of disappointment at the word you used. “Of course. Anything for a friend.”
Carlos, observing from a distance, shares a knowing look with Charles. The message is clear: the race is far from over.
***
“Hey, Y/N. Can’t sleep?”
You’re startled to find Carlos waiting by the hotel lobby, a charming smile playing on his lips. The clock on the wall reads just past midnight.
You rub your eyes, yawning, “No, not really. Jet lag, I guess.”
Carlos gestures toward the entrance, “How about a midnight stroll? I know this beautiful spot nearby.”
You hesitate for a moment but then nod, intrigued. “Sure, why not? Lead the way.”
The two of you step out into the cool night to find the quiet city bathed in soft light. The silence is comfortable as you walk side by side.
As you amble along, you can’t help but wonder, “Why are you up so late?”
He glances at you, “Couldn’t sleep either. And I thought maybe you’d enjoy some company.”
You smile, touched by his thoughtfulness. “That’s really sweet of you.”
He points to a quiet park with a pond, its surface shimmering with the reflection of the moon. “Here we are. This place always helps me clear my head whenever we’re in town for a race.”
You settle on a bench and Carlos quickly sits beside you, shoulders brushing lightly.
The night unfolds with shared stories and laughter. Carlos opens up about his journey in racing, the challenges he’s faced, and the moments of triumph. You listen intently, feeling a newfound connection.
As the hours slip away, Carlos admits with a soft chuckle, “You know, I’ve never brought anyone here before.”
You raise an eyebrow, “Really? Why me?”
Carlos smiles, the moonlight illuminating his face. “Because you’re special. You’re different from anyone I’ve met on or off the circuit.”
A warm feeling washes over you. “Thank you. That means a lot.”
He turns toward you, his gaze intense, “Y/N, there’s something I’ve been wanting to say. Something I’ve been feeling for a while.”
But just as he’s about to speak, you yawn loudly, unable to hide your exhaustion any longer. “Sorry. I guess jet lag finally caught up with me.”
He chuckles, disappointment flickering in his eyes, “No worries. Let’s head back.”
When you reach the hotel entrance, Carlos bids you goodnight, his voice tinged with a hint of longing. “Get some rest. We’ll have a busy day tomorrow.”
You smile sleepily, giving him a friendly hug, “Thanks for the midnight adventure. It was nice.”
He holds you for a moment longer than usual before pulling away, “Anytime. Sweet dreams.”
***
“Another one? Seriously?”
You chuckle, pulling out a small folded note from your jacket pocket, the fifth one this week.
“The world’s fastest circuits are slow compared to how fast you make my heart beat.” You read aloud, your cheeks warming at the words.
Carlos, seated nearby, smirks, “Someone’s clearly smitten with you. Any idea who?”
You shrug, “I figured they’re just motivational notes from the team. You know, to keep spirits up.”
Charles joins in, trying to keep his face neutral, “They’re quite poetic for just team motivation, don’t you think?”
You ponder his words, tilting your head. “I guess? But who would be sending them?”
Carlos snorts, “Oh, come on! It’s so obvious.”
You shoot him a confused look, “It is?”
Carlos and Charles exchange a glance, silently communicating. Charles, deciding to have a bit of fun, teases, “Well, they’re definitely from someone who admires you. And since they’re always hidden in places only the team has access to, it’s likely from someone here.”
Carlos nods in agreement, “Sounds about right.”
You laugh, shaking your head, “You guys are just trying to rile me up. It’s probably just one of the pit crew playing a prank.”
Charles, a touch defensive, says, “You might be surprised. Maybe you have a secret admirer closer than you think.”
Your father, passing by, overhears the conversation and chuckles, “It’s about time she figures it out.”
You stare, completely baffled, “Figures what out?”
He just winks, patting Charles on the shoulder, “Keep trying.”
Your day is filled with speculation and curious glances, with everyone seeming to be in on a secret that you aren’t privy to. The notes, while touching, become a source of playful teasing.
That evening, as you prepare for bed, you find another note tucked inside your notebook: Your passion and dedication make even the toughest races feel like victories.
You can’t help but smile. “Who are you?” You whisper to yourself.
Little do you know, just a few rooms away, Charles is scribbling down another note, his heart set on winning yours, one word at a time.
***
The night is electric, the post-race party in full swing, music thumping and lights reflecting off the crystal-clear waters of the pool.
“Y/N! Join us for a dance?”
You turn, finding Carlos standing there, his hand outstretched and a playful smile on his face.
You laugh, “You’ve seen me dance. You sure you want to take that risk?”
He chuckles, pulling you closer to the dance floor, “For you? Always.”
As the music shifts to a slower, more intimate tune, you feel a bit self-conscious. But Carlos guides you gracefully, making you feel as if you’re the only two people in the world.
“See? You’re a natural,” Carlos murmurs, his dark eyes locked onto yours.
You chuckle, “Or you’re just an excellent lead.”
Carlos smirks, “Could be both.”
Throughout the night you share more dances, both with Carlos and a few with Charles, who also proves to be quite the dancer. Each time you’re spun, dipped, or drawn close, there’s an electric charge, a connection that’s impossible to ignore.
“Enjoying yourself?” Charles asks during one dance, his voice soft and sincere.
You nod, “Very much so. It’s not every day I get to dance with Ferrari’s finest.”
Charles smirks, “Glad to be of service. You’re quite the dancer yourself, you know.”
You roll your eyes, “You’re just saying that.”
He leans in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper, “I mean every word.”
Before you can process his statement, Carlos swoops in, teasing, “Mind if I cut in?”
Charles sighs, releasing you, “Go on but save the next one for me.”
Carlos, dancing you away, smirks, “He’s quite smitten with you.”
You laugh, “Oh, stop. We’re just friends.”
Carlos raises an eyebrow, “Are you sure about that?”
You nod, “Absolutely.”
Carlos, holding you a bit closer, murmurs just low enough so only he can hear, “And he’s not the only one who’s smitten.” The hint of longing in his eyes remains hidden to you as the dance continues.
***
“Welcome to the local side of my home!” Charles exclaims with an open gesture, Monaco sprawling before you in all its glory.
You gaze around, taking in the sights of the city. “It’s beautiful. The tourist traps and casinos really don’t do it justice.”
He grins, obviously proud. “I thought you’d appreciate a personal tour. Ready?”
You nod enthusiastically, “Absolutely.”
Charles leads you through winding streets, each corner revealing another story, another memory. “This is where I had my first gelato,” he shares, pointing at a quaint little shop. “And over there,” he gestures to a narrow cobblestone lane, “is where I learned to ride a bike.”
You chuckle, “Really? These streets seem a bit treacherous for a kid on a bike.”
He laughs, “Let’s just say there were a few scrapes and bruises.”
As you continue, Charles points out his favorite viewpoints, cafes, and even his childhood home. It’s an intimate glimpse into his world and you feel honored.
“You know,” you say, pausing to gaze out over the harbor, “it’s one thing to know someone as a colleague and it’s another to really know them. Thank you for sharing this with me.”
Charles looks at you, genuine warmth in his eyes. “I wanted you to see where I come from, the place that shaped me. Who better to share it with than you?”
You smile, touched. The two of you continue, with Charles occasionally slipping his hand into yours, guiding you along.
Towards the end of the tour, you stop at a cozy café overlooking the sea. As you sip your drinks, Charles leans in, his tone serious. “Y/N, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you.”
You look up, curiosity piqued. “What is it?”
Before he can speak, his phone rings. Glancing at the caller ID, Charles sighs. “It’s the team. I have to take this.”
You nod, understanding. “Go ahead.”
When Charles hangs up, he looks apologetic. “I’m so sorry. Duty calls.”
You smile, reassuringly, “It’s okay. Today was special. Thank you.”
Charles nods, hesitating for a moment, as if wanting to say more. Instead, he simply leans in, planting a soft kiss on your forehead. “Until next time.”
***
“Oh, this doesn’t look good,” you mutter, noticing the looming dark clouds as you hurry through the paddock.
Before you can take another step, raindrops start to fall, quickly morphing into a torrential downpour. You’re caught in the middle, water soaking your clothes and making your paperwork soggy.
From a distance, Carlos notices your plight. “Y/N!” He calls out, already running towards you with an umbrella in hand.
By the time he reaches you, you’re thoroughly drenched, strands of hair stuck to your face. “Took a sudden shower, did we?” He teases, even as he huddles you under the umbrella.
You chuckle, shivering slightly, “It seems so. Thanks for the rescue.”
Carlos slips off his jacket and wraps it around you. The warmth of it, combined with his scent — a mix of cologne, fresh rain, and something uniquely Carlos — is comforting.
“You’re getting soaked!” You protest, noticing his wet shirt clinging to his toned body.
Carlos just shrugs, “You needed it more than I did.”
As the two of you find shelter from the storm, the tension between you is palpable. The rain has created a sudden intimacy and you’re both acutely aware of each other.
“Better?” Carlos asks, his voice softer than usual, noticing you inhaling the scent of his jacket.
You nod, cheeks heating up. “Yeah. Smells like ... well, you.”
He smirks, “Is that a good thing?”
You glance up, meeting his gaze, “Definitely.”
There’s a pause, a shared moment where neither of you needs to speak. The rain pattering outside creates a rhythmic backdrop to the charged atmosphere.
Carlos breaks the silence, his voice barely above a whisper, “Y/N, I …”
You lean in, “Yes?”
Just then, a gust of wind blows the umbrella out of Carlos’ hand, startling the both of you. The sudden distraction breaks the intensity of the moment and you both laugh at the absurdity of it.
Carlos, trying to chase the runaway umbrella, calls out, “Rain check?”
You laugh, trying to calm your racing heartbeat, “Quite literally.”

“You won’t believe what Carlos did this time,” Antonio, one of the lead engineers, whispers to Paolo, a senior mechanic.
You’re nearby, checking the equipment for the upcoming practice session, but their hushed conversation catches your attention.
Paolo chuckles, “Can’t be crazier than what Charles tried last week.”
Antonio smirks, “Trust me, it’s right up there. Both of them, head over heels, and all for the same girl.”
Your curiosity piqued, you edge closer, feigning interest in a nearby tire. “Who is it?” You wonder internally, trying to think of any new female team members or journalists that might have caught their eye.
Paolo, clearly enjoying the gossip, leans in, “You think she has any idea?”
Antonio shakes his head, “Nope. She’s completely in the dark. It’s actually kind of adorable how clueless she is.”
You bite your lip, even more intrigued. “Who could it be?” You muse.
Deciding to join in the speculation, you casually approach, “Hey, what’s this I’m hearing about someone making our drivers lose their heads?”
Both men look up, surprised to see you so close. Antonio stammers, “Oh, hey Y/N. Just, um, some silly paddock rumors.”
Paolo, trying to divert the topic, adds, “You know how it is. People love making up stories.”
You nod, playing along, “Of course. But, come on, spill. Who’s the lucky girl? Anyone I know?”
Antonio and Paolo exchange glances, trying to gauge how much to reveal. Antonio finally speaks, “Let’s just say she’s someone who is always around but seems to be missing all the signs.”
You laugh, “Sounds like she’s got her head in the clouds. I can’t wait to find out who she is.”
Paolo grins, “Oh, it’ll come out eventually. These things always do.”
***
The meet-and-greet in Maranello is packed to the brim. Fans from all over the world have gathered to meet their favorite drivers and the team uniform you’re wearing means you’ve gathered a considerable crowd around you too.
As you sign autographs and chat with fans, you notice a group of them exchanging knowing glances and excited whispers.
“Y/N,” one brave fan begins, “we’ve got a question for you.”
You raise an eyebrow, “Sure, fire away.”
The fan clears their throat, “We’ve been following you and the drivers closely, and, well, we couldn’t help but notice something.”
You exchange a curious look with them, “Notice what?”
Another fan chimes in, “You see, Charles and Carlos, they ... they seem to be really close, you know, off the track.”
You nod, “Yeah, they’re good friends.”
A third fan interjects, ‘It’s more than that, though. We think they’re totally into someone.”
You chuckle, thinking they’re just indulging in the typical gossip. “Well, they are both very passionate about racing if that’s what you mean.”
The fans exchange disappointed glances. “She really doesn’t get it,” one of them whispers.
But they’re not giving up that easily. Another fan seems to have a plan. “Okay, Y/N, hypothetical scenario. What if these two drivers were in a race not for points but for something else?”
You’re intrigued, “What do you mean?”
The fan grins, “Imagine if they were trying to win someone’s heart and that someone is right here, oblivious to it all.”
You laugh, amused by their playful scenario. “That would be quite the competition.”
They exchange triumphant glances, “Exactly! So, who do you think this lucky person is?”
You shrug, genuinely not knowing who they’re referring to, “I have no idea. Probably some lucky girl out there.”
The fans let out an exaggerated groan, “She really has no clue.”
Another fan leans in, conspiratorial, “What if we told you that this lucky person is not some random girl but someone they work closely with?”
“What do you mean?”
The fans exchange sly grins, “We mean, what if the person they’re vying for is ... you?”
Your eyes widen in surprise and you laugh, thinking they’re just pulling your leg, “Me? That’s crazy. They’re just my friends.”
The fans share a look of exasperation and one of them sighs, “She’s hopeless.”

“Alright, everyone, gather around! Intervention time!” Your father announces, drawing you into the center of the group of staff that were gathered on the first floor of the Ferrari motorhome.
You look around, bewildered. “What’s going on?”
Paolo, chuckling, pats your shoulder, “You’ve got the observational skills of a goldfish.”
You pout, “Hey! I notice things.”
Antonio snorts, “Oh, really? Do you recall Monaco? During the team photo?”
You nod, confused, “Yeah, we were all there.”
Antonio grins, “Carlos was standing right next to you. Instead of giving a thumbs-up like everyone else, he made a heart sign with his hands right behind you. Literally, right behind your head.”
Eyes wide, you protest, “He did?”
Your father chimes in, “And remember in Silverstone? When you lost that bracelet your mother gave you?”
You nod, “Yes, I was devastated.”
He continues, “Charles spent the entire night searching for it. He found it at 3 am and then hand-delivered it to your room.”
Antonio adds, chuckling, “Wearing those ridiculous race car pajamas, I might add.”
You blink, processing the information, “I thought I just dropped it while getting dressed ...”
Paolo, shaking his head in amusement, recounts, “During the team BBQ, Carlos grilled those vegetarian sausages especially for you. Remember wondering why we had them?”
Your cheeks turn a shade redder, “I just thought he was being considerate for the vegetarians on the team.”
Your father laughs, “We don’t have any other vegetarians on the team, darling.”
Antonio recalls another incident, “In Spain, during that heatwave? Charles, out of nowhere, had a mini fan delivered to you. Said it was team equipment.”
You gasp, “That was him?”
Paolo, grinning, continues, “Ever wonder who leaves those freshly peeled oranges on your desk every race day? That’s Carlos’ handiwork.”
You shake your head in disbelief, “But … why?”
Your father steps forward, placing a comforting arm around you, “Sweetheart, it’s because they’re both completely smitten with you. And while it’s entertaining for us to watch, it’s also driving the entire team bonkers with every passing day that you don’t realize.”
You look around, taking in the nodding heads and amused expressions, “I ... I had no idea.”
Antonio chuckles, “Clearly.”
Paolo adds, “It’s like watching a rom-com unfold right before our eyes, only you seem to have missed the entire plot.”
You laugh sheepishly, rubbing the back of your neck, “Okay, maybe I’ve been a bit oblivious.”
Your father smirks, “A bit oblivious? That’s like saying Ferrari is known for being a bit red.”
Antonio gives you a friendly pat on the back, “Welcome to the real race, Y/N. Buckle up.”
***
Carlos clears his throat, his usual confidence replaced with a rare nervousness, “Y/N, can we talk? Like, really talk?”
You drop what you’re doing, “Of course. What’s on your mind?”
Charles, appearing from the shadows, adds, “Actually, I’d like to be part of this conversation as well.”
You’re taken aback. “Alright, you both have my attention.”
Carlos begins, running his fingers through his hair, “You know, racing isn’t just about speed. It’s about timing, making the right move at the right moment.”
Charles nods in agreement, “Sometimes, you wait too long and the opportunity passes you by.”
You squint, trying to decipher their cryptic words, “Are we talking about racing or ...?”
Carlos exhales deeply, “This isn’t about racing. This is about ... us. You, me, Charles.”
Charles interjects, his gaze intense, “It’s about feelings. Ones that have been growing and evolving.”
You swallow, your heart pounding, “I think I know where this is going.”
Carlos, his voice laced with vulnerability, confesses, “Every time I do something hoping it will make you smile, every time I go out of my way just to be near you ... it’s not just because of friendship.”
Charles adds, “And every gesture, every moment we’ve shared, it’s been my way of trying to show you how I feel.”
Your eyes well up with emotion, “I ... I gained an inkling just recently but I still wasn’t sure.”
Carlos takes a deep breath, “We’re not just talking about individual feelings here. What we’re trying to say is we both care for you and we’ve discussed it. We both want to be with you and for the three of us to explore this ... together.”
Charles nods, “We want to navigate this track as a trio. If you’re willing.”
Carlos steps closer, his eyes searching yours, “We just needed you to know. Whatever you decide, we’ll respect it.”
Charles nods, “Just ... take your time. We’re here, no matter what.”
You take a deep breath, “I need some time to think, to process all of this.”
Carlos offers a soft smile, “Of course, Y/N. We understand.”
Charles gently places a hand on your shoulder, “We’ll wait, however long it takes. Your feelings matter to us. You matter to us.”
***
“Safety car deployed, safety car deployed!” The voice over the radio jolts you into high alert.
“What happened?” You ask anxiously, watching the large screen that displays the race.
Your father’s voice shakes slightly, “Multi-car collision at Turn 4. I can’t see which cars are involved yet.”
Your heart races, thinking of Charles and Carlos. “Please, let them be okay.”
Paolo, eyes glued to the live feed, mutters, “This looks bad.”
The images on the screen show plumes of smoke and debris scattered across the track. The safety car slows the procession of vehicles and you can see marshals running toward the crash site.
Suddenly, Charles comes on the radio, sounding strained but intact, “I’m okay but Carlos ... I can’t see Carlos.”
A weight settles in your stomach. Panic floods your veins. “Please, no.”
His race engineer’s voice cracks with urgency, “Carlos, if you can hear me please respond.”
What feels like hours pass but in reality it’s only seconds before Carlos’ shaky voice breaks through, “I’m here ... I’m okay. Got a bit shaken but I’m fine.”
You slump in relief, tears pricking your eyes. The reality of how precious life is and how quickly things can change hits you like a tidal wave.
Once the chaos subsides and both Charles and Carlos are confirmed safe, you rush out to the pits, needing to see them with your own eyes.
Charles, spotting you first, rushes over, his race suit smeared with dirt and sweat. Without a word, he pulls you into a tight embrace, the tension and relief palpable between you two.
Carlos joins, wrapping his arms around both of you, his breathing still slightly labored from the shock.
You pull away, tears streaming down your face, “Don’t you ever scare me like that again.”
Carlos musters up a hint of a smirk, “Didn’t plan to, trust me.”
Charles adds softly, looking deep into your eyes, “It makes you realize what’s really important.”
You nod, your decision clear. The events of the day, combined with the confessions of the previous week, cement your feelings. “Life is short. Too short not to be with who you care about.”
Carlos raises an eyebrow, “Does that mean ...?”
You smile, nodding, “Yes. I want to be with both of you. We’ll figure it all out together.”
***
“France in winter is so enchanting,” Carlos muses as you all stroll through the snow-covered streets of your hometown, having flown there right after the end of the season.
You laugh, “You should see it in spring.”
Charles wraps one an arm around your waist and the other around Carlos, “With you as our guide, I’m sure every season is beautiful.”
The moment you all step into your family home, the familiar smell of your favorite dish wafts through the air. “Ah, maman’s coq au vin!” You exclaim.
Carlos looks intrigued, “What’s that?”
“It’s a traditional French chicken stew,” Charles explains, revealing his fondness for it too.
At the dinner table, your father raises a toast, “To family, old and new.” It’s a nod to Charles and Carlos, welcoming them into the fold.
Throughout the night, more wine is poured and stories are exchanged. Heading about your childhood misadventures makes Carlos chuckle and Charles smirk as your mother brings out the photo album no matter how much you beg her to save you the embarrassment.
Your grandmother pulls you aside and whispers, “It’s beautiful, cherie, how the heart can expand to make room for more love.”
***
Next stop: Monaco. Before you can even ring the doorbell to Charles’ family home, Lorenzo swings it open, his grin wide. “Ah! The infamous new trio. We’ve heard so much about you.”
You laugh, “All good things, I hope?”
Arthur, joining Lorenzo at the doorway, smirks, “Mostly just about how our dear Charles here can’t stop talking about you.”
Charles rolls his eyes, a hint of red tinting his cheeks. “Can we not start with the teasing five seconds in?”
Carlos chuckles, elbowing Charles lightly, “It’s what brothers are for, right?”
Lorenzo nods, winking at you, “Oh, absolutely. You should’ve seen Charles when he was younger. Always getting into mischief.”
Arthur, with a gleeful glint in his eyes, adds, “Remember that time with the go-kart?”
Charles groans, “Do we really have to bring that up now?”
“Oh, but now I’m curious.”
Lorenzo, not missing a beat, narrates, “Our dear Charles decided to modify his go-kart engine. Let’s just say it ended up in the neighbor’s pool.”
Carlos bursts into laughter, “I wish I’d seen that!”
At one point, when Charles steps out to take a call, Lorenzo leans in, “In all seriousness, we haven’t seen Charles this happy in a long time.”
Arthur nods in agreement, “Whatever you two are doing, keep it up. It’s good for him.”
***
The three of you touch down in Spain to ring in the New Year. The evening is filled with laughter, traditional music, and the tantalizing aroma of home-cooked meals. As midnight approached, Carlos’ mother brings out individual bowls filled with glistening grapes.
“You know about the Spanish tradition, right?” Carlos asks.
You shake your head.
Carlos explains, “At the stroke of midnight, for every chime of the clock, you eat a grape. Twelve chimes, twelve grapes. It’s said to bring good luck for the coming year.”
You chuckle, eyeing the bowl, “Sounds easy enough.”
It was not easy.
The first chime rings out and everyone pops a grape into their mouth. By the fourth chime, you’re struggling, laughter bubbling up around a mouthful of the fruit as you desperately try to keep up.
Charles, equally struggling, shoots you a wide-eyed look, grapes nearly falling out of his mouth.
Carlos, on the other hand, seems to have mastered the art, smoothly munching away, though his eyes reveal his suppressed laughter.
As the twelfth chime rings out, you finally manage to swallow the mouthful, gasping for breath air rounded by the hearty laughter of Carlos’ family.
Carlos’ father claps you and Charles on the back, “Well done! You two are practically Spanish now.”
You laugh, wiping away a tear, “I think I’ll need a few more years of practice.”
Carlos grins, wrapping an arm around you, “Don’t worry, we will have many more New Years for you to perfect it.”
***
The sun casts a golden hue on the beach, the waves gently lapping at the shore. Your feet are buried in the soft sand and you lean back, enjoying the feeling of warmth on your skin.
Taking a moment to appreciate the surroundings, you sigh, “The view is so breathtaking.”
Charles, reclining beside you with sunglasses perched atop his head, follows your gaze. His eyes, however, are not on the horizon but on Carlos, who’s emerging from the water, droplets glistening on his toned body. Without missing a beat, Charles replies flirtatiously, “Yes, he definitely is.”
Carlos laughs as he approaches, water dripping from him, “You two are impossible.”
You smirk, “Well, can you blame him? You do look quite ... impressive."
Carlos, towel now draped around his neck, grins, “Is that so? Maybe I should spend more time at the beach then.”
Charles mock pouts, “And less time with your car?”
Carlos pretends to think about it, “Tough choice. But I think I can find a balance.”
***
“Look who’s back and glowing!” Paolo greets as the three of you walk into the paddock together for pre-season testing.
Antonio joins in the teasing, “Carlos, you’ve got that sun-kissed tan going on and Charles ... did you forget the sunscreen again?”
Charles laughs sheepishly, touching his slightly reddened nose, “Apparently, I just burn.”
Carlos smirks, “We tried but some people are just destined to be crispy.”
You laugh, nudging Carlos, “Don’t be mean. But … we did have that one day when he turned a shade that matched the Ferrari.”
***
“Here’s to the dream team!” Antonio raises his champagne flute, his eyes shimmering under the bright lights of the party.
Charles, holding his second-place trophy, grins, nudging Carlos who’s proudly holding his first-place one. “Feels pretty good to have another double podium, doesn’t it?”
Carlos laughs, “Only because I’m one step higher!”
“Hey! It was the other way around last weekend,” Charles pretends to sulk.
You roll your eyes playfully, “Children, children. Share your toys nicely.”
Paolo chimes in, “It’s not just about the podium finishes. The energy this season ... it’s been different, more vibrant.”
Charles takes a moment, his gaze flitting between Carlos and you. “Well, happiness does tend to have that effect.”
Carlos wraps an arm around you both, pulling you close. “I couldn’t have said it better.”
***
“You would think that after all these years, I’d have gotten the hang of it,” your father laments, eyeing the bowl of freshly washed grapes in front of him.
Carlos’ mother laughs, patting his arm, “You’ll do just fine this time, Fred. We’ve all been practicing.”
Charles smirks, glancing at his brothers, “Oh, trust me, they’ve turned it into a competitive sport. Last year, Lorenzo managed to eat an extra grape by mistake!”
Lorenzo rolls his eyes, “One time! And I blame Arthur for distracting me.”
“Okay, it’s almost time,” Carlos says. “Remember, the key is not to rush.”
You chuckle, “Says the man who’s been acing this since he was a kid.”
Carlos winks, “Natural talent.”
The clock begins to chime, marking the impending arrival of the New Year. Everyone takes their positions, holding their grapes, waiting for the signal.
As each chime rings out, laughter fills the room. The past mishaps with the grapes only make the current attempt all the more entertaining.
When the twelfth chime fades, everyone erupts in cheers. Even your father, much to his delight, has successfully completed it in time.
Charles wraps an arm around you, “Another year, another challenge conquered.”
Carlos steps up to kiss both of you, tasting distinctly of grape, “With many more to come.”
You smile, looking around at the blending of families, the fusion of traditions, and the love that fills the room. “I can’t wait to spend every New Year together with you for the rest of our lives.”

warnings : satoru ooc (i do NOT agree w that warning but i GUESS I could see why someone would disagree 🙄🙄🙄), very fluffy to the point it seems angsty!!! talk about the homosexuals!!!! satoru mentions small familial conflict in the interview portion
diamond on your ring
cause when you know, you know
when you know, you know
“thank you so much for agreeing to a sit down interview, gojo-sama,” the interviewer politely bows to the tall man the second satoru walks into the room. immediately, he bows in response, finding the sudden formalities almost abnormal.
at this point, he was so used to other interviews he’d done be super quick, informal and just reporters looking for answers to their questions with little regard for things such as respect.
this was a breath of fresh air, but satoru couldn’t help but feel bad for the interviewer whose back must be hurting now with how long they’d been bowing.
“oh, please, no need for such strong formalities,” satoru chimed in, gently resting his hand on their shoulder to goad them into standing upright, “gojo is fine, too, no need for the honorifics. it’s not like i’m royalty,” he joked, hoping to lift the mood in the room.
it seemed to work as the interviewer finally cracked a smile and dropped their shoulders from being so stiffly held up to their ear.
“then, gojo-san, please take a seat and we can get you all mic’d up for the interview. it should take no longer than a half hour, longest running an hour and a half, but we really don’t want to take up too much of your time,” satoru shook his head, assuring them that it was fine and then taking his seat.
he noticed that the cameras were already filming, but didn’t think twice on it. technically, from the moment he stepped foot in the room, the interview already started. that’s what it said on paper, at least.
“erm, to just go over what we might be discussing in this interview,” the reporter said, clearing their throat as they looked over their list of questions, “since this is a very specific interview, the questions are going to mainly be centered around your romantic relationships and very personal questions,”
satoru nodded, moving in his seat to allow the staff better access in getting the microphone to stay hidden in his clothes, “yeah, my manager sent me the general idea of questions of stuff you’d be asking, it’s alright with me,” he said, taking off his sunglasses, “plus i think i’m pretty familiar with the publisher and the audience, so it’s alright. really, ask me anything, this would probably the only time i’d do something like this,” he encouraged with a friendly smile, trying to show his genuinity.
the interviewer nodded in understanding, clicking their pen and writing a note in their notepad.
satoru had done his research beforehand. the publisher that was interviewing him, or rather the person interviewing him in steed of the company, was a pretty vocal LGBTQ+ company. it was a rare occurance in japanese media, especially as a standalone party, but they proved successful. satoru knew why they were interviewing him, obviously because he was gay and very outwordly apart of the community. he also knew that they were always respectful individuals, which is why he didn’t hesitate in accepting the interview.
if he was going to be asked about his sexuality and his very much gay relationship, he’d rather it be done through a respectful, and most likely very understanding, person rather than those that would shout at him invasive questions.
“then, are you ready, gojo-san?” the interviewer snapped him out of his daydream, making him nod his head. “let’s test the mic really quick, then we can jump into it,”
“i am gojo satoru,” he recited, looking at the staff for a thumbs up on the feedback. when he got a positive thumbs up, the interviewer followed with their own test and then they were able to get into the interview.
“let’s start with introductions, i’m ishii haruto and i’ll be the one interviewing you today, gojo-san. lovely to meet you,” he bowed his head in greeting, making satoru follow suit.
a relaxed grin was on his face as he introduced himself again, “i haven’t said it before, but i’m gojo satoru,” it was a small joke that uplifted the mood of the room once more. haruto appreciated it, laughing to himself at satoru’s subtle charisma.
”well, to get right into the interview, let’s start with hard hitting questions,” satoru braced himself, clenching his fists in his pant’s pocket, “how are you?”
satoru smiled, shooting a fake warning look haruto’s way, “i’m wonderful, how are you ishii-san? i hope you’re doing well, too,”
“i’m doing very well. it’s an honor to interview you, thank you for giving us this opportunity,” haruto said, subtly bowing his head once more, “you truly don’t understand how inspiring it will be for the rest of japan to hear your story, you’re doing such a big thing for all of us in this room, and for those that will read this interview later. so, really, thank you, gojo-san,”
satoru pursed his lips at the sentimentality, realizing quickly that this interview was going to be really different than anything he’d ever experienced before. “sobering” up a little bit, he smiled at haruto and nodded his head, “i’m happy to be here, too. i hope whoever reads this learns something about themselves,”
“yes, that will be the end goal,” haruto agreed before looking down at his notepad, “well, i guess we can just start off with this one — when did you know you were gay?”
satoru hummed, “i don’t really know. for me, i guess it was always in the back of my mind? i mean, i never had a crush on a girl growing up. and i thought it was normal. my parents did as well, seeing how driven i was from a young age to be successful in basketball, i think they wrote it off as me just being determined to make my dreams come true. no time for distractions, or something like that. but deep down, i think i always knew.” he paused, crossing his legs as he decided to add one more tidbit, “and i never thought it was wrong, either. to me, having a crush on a boy wasn’t a big deal. i just thought, huh, this sucks i like someone, i might get distracted from basketball now,”
the two shared a laugh at his joking remark at the end, but until that point the interviewer was very immersed in the personal story. he was even humming in acknowledgement of everything he was saying, as if he related.
“so when you began pursuing your current boyfriend, it was not a big deal for you? even given your position as a famous basketball player?” then haruto looked at the camera men and held his hand up, a signal of some sort that satoru was cued in on, and leaned forward, “would it be alright if we refer to him with his name?”
satoru quickly nodded, understanding now that the hand gesture meant for their mics to be cut so that they wouldn’t receive any audio.
then they were back on and satoru answered the original question, “no, it wasn’t a huge deal. well, it was to everyone else, i guess. but to me and my close friends, it wasn’t. they already knew i was really into him and had a big crush on him before i did, so it really wasn’t a big shock when i made my efforts more obvious. well, as obvious as you can get with having everyone watching you. i tried to reel it in a little when my friend’s told me he may not be comfortable with all the attention, that was the only time i really was aware of it and began to calm down on my advances,”
“oh, so it wasn’t a big deal to you, but in consideration of his feelings, you kind of held back a little bit?”
“yeah, because if things ended up not working out, then all the neutral attention we were getting would have become negative. rumors could’ve started that would’ve hurt him, and i definitely didn’t want that, so yeah,” satoru said, reiterating his main point from earlier, “i just wanted him to be comfortable whenever we were in public,”
“that’s really considerate of you, gojo-san,” the interviewer complimented, making satoru laugh with a wave of his hand.
“he never asked for all the attention in the first place, i definitely didn’t want to make our already secretive position more hostile than it needed to be,” satoru explained, “so everything had to be toned down. fortunately, he was very understanding and could see where i was coming from.”
“what do you mean by that? did he ever say anything about it?”
“well, we’re just like any other couple. we just want privacy and respect, some people don’t want to give it to us. those people that just want to hurt our relationship just because we’re both guys. if i wasn't as famous as i am, i’d imagine it’d be easier to mange. not that it still wouldn’t be stressful — but at least, not the entire country would be breathing down our necks,” satoru explained, choosing his words carefully. “no matter what, though, if you’re in a relationship with someone of the same sex, it’s going to be hard.”
“that’s true, but you two have faced a lot of very hard obstacles. it’s sad how many times people have wished to see you two broken up,” haruto said, an angry look on his face, “how did you two manage to overcome those obstacles?”
“well, we had each other, loved ones, and close friends as support systems. they were really helpful and sweet, they were the most understanding. but i think, the most important one, was that we had each other. we were in it together. not to say that all the negative attention was good or even worth it, but it made our love for one another stronger,” satoru sighed, thinking about the early days when he was first officially dating [name], “i just wish they were nicer to him. he didn’t deserve any of it,”
there was a pause of respect from haruto before they continued on, “you said you had support of loved ones and close friends — were they supportive from the get-go or did it take “convincing” for them to understand?”
“most of them were really understanding and could see that my love for him was too strong to be denied, so that was nice. but there were definitely instances of family members not understanding or simply refusing to support,” satoru answered with a grim look on his face.
“how did you deal with that?”
“well, it was mainly family members, unfortunately, that rejected my lifestyle. so i had to do the best thing and cut them off. i couldn’t have them in my ear telling me that i wasn’t meant to be this way or that [name] and i’s relationship had to be put to a stop. so i cut them off completely and haven’t spoken to them since. i could afford to make that sacrifice since i had [name] and others as support. he really helped me through that and the realization that not everyone will understand or see it as we do…you just have to learn how to deal with it in each situation and circumstance,”
haruto hummed in intrigue and understanding, “was it hard? cutting them off and coming to that realization?”
“i would say it wasn’t as hard as one would think…not when i love [name] so much i’d sacrifice anything to be with him. i wasn’t going to settle for anything passive aggressive or half-assed when it came to support of my relationship with him. like i said, i wasn’t going to let anyone bad mouth him or our relationship, i wouldn’t settle for that in exchange of keeping blood relatives around. even if someone is family, if they hurt someone i love, it still counts for something. they’re still hurting him and in turn hurting me. that’s not family anymore,” satoru said definitively. he had a hard look on his face. almost the one that was only mirrored whenever he was on the court. it showed how serious of a topic it was to him.
“seeing you so be so openly protective and in love with your boyfriend has gotten you two a lot of attention over the years, most of it is praise from others since they do think it’s adorable. does affection that you show [name] come very naturally?”
“of course it does,” satoru grinned, happy to move onto more lighthearted topics. he had the widest grin on his face now, thinking of when he would go home and cuddle his boyfriend, “i’m a very affectionate person, anyway. ask suguru, he’ll tell you,” with the reference to his best friend, who plays on the same team as him, haruto grins, “but i made sure that [name] was comfortable with it first and then went on from what he was okay with, until we got to the point right now where we both don’t really care,
if i know i’m in love with my boyfriend, i want other people to know as well. there was a bad rep surrounding me, in my early days especially. everyone thought i was a playboy, for some reason,” he shyly scratched the back of his head, “so i thought that me showing that i was very loyal and very much in love with my boyfriend, people would stop thinking that of me. and it worked! so, it was a win-win situation,”
haruto nods, looking at his cue cards with a grin, “and you two have had a really long relationship-”
“almost coming on 5 years now,” satoru giggles, a blush evident on his pale cheeks, “it doesn’t feel that long, though,”
“yeah, it’s as if it was only yesterday the two of you made it public and sent everyone into a panic,” the two laugh at the memory. the headlines that day going hysterical over the basketball player’s very much gay personal life. “and since you’ve been in a relationship for so long, has it ever crossed your mind to tie the knot permanently? settle down with [name]?”
satoru paused, the smile on his face faltering ever so slightly as he repeated the question in his mind.
marriage with [name] always was the answer. but, the idea of when and where and how never crossed satoru’s mind. well, it did. in repeated passing thoughts. but, never long enough for him to commit to the idea. he’s thought of how he would do it, where, but never really when. and even then, the how and where were never set in stone. he wanted it to be romantic, definitely had to be something that the two would retell to their kids one day as the most romantic and loving gesture satoru has ever done.
but “when”…satoru never put a pin in the calendar on what date.
he hummed where he sat, resting his chin in his palms as he thought about how to answer.
“huh, well…i know i’m going to marry him someday,” satoru assures the interviewer, who was silently panicking that they had accidentally asked a question too invasive, “but, i think i’ll keep the details of that to myself, haha,” satoru played it off as a tease, but internally he was sweating bullets.
there was never going to be a right time. a right time insinuates a moment where satoru is so overwhelmed with love that a proposal would be the only verbal indicator of that feeling.
but, satoru has been so madly and deeply in love with [name] for so long already that the “right time” feels like every waking moment.
when the two moved in together, made that huge, empty house a home for themselves. when he took [name] on their first overseas trip and they learned even more about each other. when satoru takes him home for the holidays where he just so perfectly matches with his family members and comes even more out of his shell.
satoru’s been so in love with [name] for so long it feels like they’re already married. [name] knows him like the back of his hand and vice versa.
it was as if he always knew. he just knew in the back of his mind that they’d end up standing in perfectly tailored suits at the end of the aisle, saying heartfelt and cheesy vows to each other. satoru knows he’ll probably end up crying more than [name] and he knows that that day will be the happiest he’ll ever be.
the question made his head spin around as a flurry of questions of when he would propose filled his head, but it did solidify one thing. the fact that satoru just knows that one day he’ll end up being [name]’s husband and [name] his. and he wants that day to come sooner rather than later.
”well, i think the final question for our interview today that can wrap this up, will be: do you have any advice for young aspiring individuals that might read this and see this side of you?”
satoru gulped, suddenly feeling as if the temperature in the room had gone up twenty degrees. he tugged on the collar of his button up, swallowing as he spoke carefully, “just always be true to yourself and your dreams. it doesn’t matter what other people think because if you know what you want and you know that it’s your dreams on the line, there shouldn’t be anything standing between you and that goal. whether it be a person you want to pursue or if it’s your dream career, don’t give up.” he attempted a smile at haruto and it seemed to have done its work as the interviewer bowed his head deeply in gratitude.
the two finished the closing remarks of the interview with fluidity. he handed the mic back to the staff, who thanked him with their heads bowed. but before he could leave, he pulled haruto aside and lowered his voice, “uhm, could you hold off on publishing this for a while?”
haruto blinked rapidly, a nervous look coming onto his face, “well, the editing and transcription of the video will take some time, probably a little over a month…how long were you thinking of keeping it under wraps, gojo-san?”
it was a plead to not make him push the publication date back further. satoru hums, “a little over a month?”
“yes, that is what my advisor gave me as a “grace” period in editting everything,” haruto nods, the nervous look on his face not disappearing once.
“that should be alright then, sorry for worrying you. a little over a month is fine,” satoru grins, feeling his chest bloom with warmth. “thank you so much for the interview, have a lovely day,”
and with that parting farewell, satoru rushed out of the building with his mask and sunglasses on and practically jumped into his car.
in the safety confines of his car, satoru rested his head against the wheel. his breathing was rapid and his cheeks were ablaze. was he really going to do this? he looked at his phone that had the directions sent to the nearest luxury jewelry shop, his eyes flitting across the screen to take all the information in.
“seriously, satoru?” he panted to himself, leaning back to his seat and looking up at his car roof, “it took some guy interviewing you to grow the balls to do this? really?”
he cursed himself for waiting so long, setting his car into reverse and speeding his way to the shop. he had his sunglasses, hat, and mask on as he exited his car, careful to try and not attract too much attention. if the media caught light of this before he could properly do it, he would have someone’s head on a spike - he didn’t care.
no one was ruining this for him. for [name], too. satoru wasn’t going to let the stupid papparazzi tarnish this moment, as they had done for so many other intimate ones before this.
satoru grit his teeth, pushing the shop door open and breathing a sigh of relief to find that it was empty. he looked at the displays they had out, acting calm when on the inside he was sweating bullets.
“looking for anything in particular?” the attendent asked him, not at all acknowleding his appearance which meant that his disguise had worked.
he cleared his throat, still looking down as he shakily replied, “wedding rings, wedding rings for men, please,”
thank god the attendent wasn’t an asshole or else satoru might’ve really just slammed his head into the wall in frustration. because the attendent just guided him in the direction of where the men’s wedding rings were. he didn’t speak more either, just hovering around in case satoru needed help.
“fuck,” he cursed under his breath, trying his hardest to focus and think about which one [name] would like the most. “fuck, what if i get him one he doesn’t like? what the fuck does that mean for us? oh my god,” he panicked.
and it was almost funny. a 6’6 lean guy practically clutching his chest to stop his heart from jumping out of his ribs and flopping around on the floor. he was seriously getting heart palpitations, satoru swore this is the most nervous he’s ever been in his life.
what the fuck would he say when he actually proposes?
“i love you, marry me?”
fuck no. gojo satoru wasn’t going to settle for a shit proposal like that. and he certainly wasn’t going to settle for a shitting ring either, but it was so stressful thinking of whether or not his boyriend (manifest: soon to be fiance) would like the one he picked out.
satoru never was the one with good fashion or style sense in the relationship.
he was freaking out.
some of the rings on display were too loud and extravagant that he knew [name] wouldn’t enjoy it, but then going for someting super, duper plain was out of the question.
“do you have a particular agenda in mind?”
“i have nothing in my mind right now,” satoru snapped at the worker, apologizing seconds later, “i’m sorry, i’m just really stressed right now.”
“it’s alright, many are when they come in. they see the displayed rings and get self-conscious of the one that they choose. well, just go with your gut feeling on what you and your partner would like. that’s the best advice i can give you. you know them best, after all,”
this fucking attendent was right, satoru knows his own boyfriend (manifest: soon to be fiance) better than anyone. he just has to see something to spark an inspiration in him.
and he thinks he’s found it when he looks at a particular timeless piece that is cushioned on a small red velvet pillow.
“what can you tell me about that one?” satoru asked, although he’s almost completely set on just buying it right now. it was perfect. the coupled ring that pairs with it was also so effortlessly something he would love to wear as well.
”that one is in the style of an eternity ring, with the VVS diamonds cut into an emerald shape, obviously. the metal is platnium with 11 carats,” the attendent skillfully answers, “goes for about 9,871,750 yen ($70,000 USD). we offer installment plans, though-”
“no, i’ll just take it, thanks, though,” satoru said, easily sliding his card over. “i also want the paired one too,”
“that one is-”
“you don’t have to tell me about it or the price, just box them pretty for me and i’ll be on my way,” satoru grinned, looking at the bills he had in his wallet and pulling out a couple 10,000 yen notes, (adding up to about 200,000 yen - $1,417 USD). as the attendent very meticulously packaged the rings safely, satoru slid over the cash to him.
“thanks for helping,” satoru said, tapping his card and approving the transaction before walking out of the store. the hefty cash tip left on the counter for the attendent to gleam at.
and if he thought that the picking the ring part was hard, now he had to come up with how he was actually going to propose.
he always said that he wanted it to be romantic, but with [name] already waiting at home there was no way he could set something up at their own house. and, honestly, he wanted this to not be so public in fear of it leaking to the headlines. so he would have to settle with making it romantic in his home.
but, the more he thought about it, the more carefree he felt in the atmosphere. as long as [name] was just there exisisting, that was all he could ask for. satoru carefully pocketed the velvet box into his pant leg, keeping the pair safe as he drove back home completely undetected by papparazzi.
when he got home, he had to stop himself from automatically calling out to his boyfriend (manifest: soon to be fiance). the “honey, i’m home,” died in the back of his throat, thankfully, so his arrival home was still a secret. he took off his shoes and walked up the stairs to their shared bedroom where [name] was most likely resting.
it wasn’t too late, but by now his bedtime routine was probably done and he was getting comfortable in bed.
and satoru’s assumptions were right because when he gently pushed the bedroom door open, he saw [name] cuddled into a pillow and watching the TV that was set up against the wall. upon closer inspection, satoru saw that the pillow he was cuddling was actually from his side of the bed. he was cuddling his pillow as he waited for him to come home.
that, unfortunately, made satoru breakdown in tears almost right away. his eyes stung with the salty fluid breaking through his composure. [name] was too far to notice, though, simply lifting his head and waving him over with a loving smile, “you’re home! wow, you were so quiet i barely heard you come in,”
and when satoru just silently stood at the doorway, his hand covering his mouth, that made [name] get up out of bed in worry.
“hey, are you okay? what happened?” then he saw the way satoru’s broad shoulders shook, rushing over and holding him in his arms in an instant, “was it the interviewer? are you okay, satoru? talk to me,” satoru only broke down more, making [name] comfortingly rub up and down his back with “shh”s slipping from his mouth every now and then.
“satoru, are you okay?” [name] worriedly asked, gently pulling him towards the bed and urging him to sit. once the tall man was sat down, he immediately wrapped his arms around him again, hugging him as tight as he could to give him some sort of comfort, “you’re scaring me, satoru, what happened?”
satoru took a couple of seconds to collect himself, holding onto [name] in his arms as a means of grounding himself. but if anything, it made it worse. he was reminded that [name] was really real and not some figment of his imagination. he wasn’t just some “dream” guy, he was real and he was his.
[name] was sitting in their bed with him and comforting him lovingly. he was real and satoru never felt as lucky as he did than right now in this moment.
“nothing happened,” satoru breathed out, pulling [name] back from his torso so that he could properly speak to him. “i’m okay, really,”
“satoru, you’re crying. it’s okay, you can tell me,” [name] said softly, pushing his wet bangs aside and looking into his teary blue eyes, “it’s okay,”
satoru bit his lip, admiring the features of his boyfriend for a couple more seconds. how gentle his touch was, the hand caressing his face only having the lightest featherlike feeling against his skin. how concerned his e/c eyes were, staring into him and understanding him like no one else ever has.
he is so beautiful, satoru thought to himself. he squeezed [name]’s hand that was resting in his lap, making the man look down at their joined fingers.
”satoru?”
“i just,” he took in a deep breath, “i love you so much, you know that right?”
he almost laughed at the suggestion, but [name] politely nodded instead, “of course i know that, you show me everyday. i love you, too,”
satoru nuzzled his cheek further into [name]’s touch, relishing in the way the man’s warmth fell onto his skin.
“i love you so much, i’d do anything for you,” satoru breathed out, looking past his wet white eyelashes and into [name]’s concern eyes, “i’d do anything, i mean it. i love you so, so, so much [name],”
“satoru, you’re really scaring me. what’s going on?”
“nothing bad, i promise. just, please, let me?” satoru begged, voice hoarse and tight as he pleaded with [name]. and with a patient nod coming from the man, he continued on, “you’ve made me so happy, happier than i’ve ever been, these past couple of years. you deal with me and my annoying bullshit everyday, you make sure i’m healthy and happy even when you’re so tired. you always take care of me, more than i give you credit for and i’m sorry that i’m so selfish sometimes. but, i promise i’ll do better. i’ll be better, for you. anything you want me to be, i’ll work so hard in becoming, for you. i want to make you as happy as you make me,” satoru gulps, feeling his throat closing up and his tears welling back up, “i love you so much, [name],”
taking in all of his words, [name]’s eyebrows furrowed in confliction. he still didn’t know if he should be concerned and worried or just let satoru go on. but then he felt his own eyes well up with tears when he felt how sincere satoru was being. how tight his large hand was holding his own, as if he were afraid that he’d slip away if his grip on him loosened even the slightest.
even when he tried lifting that hand up to wipe his tears away, satoru didn’t let him, keeping a steady grip on his hand. instead, his slender fingers came up to the side of his face and wiped the tears away with a calm smile on his face.
“you make me so happy, [name]. and i'm so happy to be here with you. you make everything worth it,” satoru said softly, “you love me so gently, so softly — unlike anyone else in my life has. you’re my entire world. i don’t know what i’d do without you here. i know i’m meant to stay by your side forever. i know my place in the world is wherever you are.”
there was a pause as now both of them were crying messes.
[name]’s eyes were shut as he tried to wipe his stream of tears away. so he didn’t see the way satoru dug through his pocket to take out the velvet box. and he didn’t see the way his hands shook as he propped the box to be open, didn’t see how nervous satoru looked in the moment of unveiling the ring.
what he did see though was the ring blaringly presenting itself to him and a grinning, crying satoru behind it. he heard the words leave his lips, “let’s stay together forever, okay? please, marry me, [name],”
and [name] didn't react.
not immediately. he was too shocked. his jaw had dropped and he looked between the ring and satoru, who was still happily crying. then, finally, he snapped out of it and enclosed his arms around his boyfriend’s (fiance’s?) neck and sobbed into his skin, “yes, yes, yes,” over and over.
satoru cried more, this time a smile on his face as he cried into the air. he felt the stream of wet tears go down his neck, but he didn’t pay them any mind. he only held [name] closer by his waist in a suffocating embrace.
he didn’t know if he believed in multiple universes theory, whatever that was, but he just wishes that if it were true: he’d find [name] in every single one. [name] was his one and only comfort in the hectic life that he lives, the one stable root that keeps him grounded.
the two seperated, smiling and laughing with each other as they messily kissed in celebration. when they pulled away, [name] and satoru watched as the latter shakily slipped the ring onto the former’s ring finger. and the h/c haired man had to cover his mouth once more at the sight. it was slightly loose, running on the bigger side, but it was perfect. he didn’t care. it could have been a paper ring and it would have been perfect.
“i love you satoru, so much, you don’t understand,”
“i love you more,” the other softly breathes out, staring at [name]’s ringed finger with pride, “more than you’d ever know.”
the two smiled and laughed at their confessions, joining in another hug as they were high off of their dopamine. wordlessly, satoru collapsed onto the bed with [name] laying on top of him. and as he took the other velvet box out, he tried slipping the ring onto his finger. but it didn’t even fit on his ring finger, so he had to work with it on his pinky.
“it’s kind of cute that way,” [name] says in amusement, comparing their hand size and laughing at the difference, “i like it,”
“if you like it that way, we can keep it this size, then,” satoru said simply, kissing the top of [name]’s head.
“wear it however you want to, satoru, it’s your ring,” [name] chides him, looking up to softly glare at him.
“the ring doesn’t mean anything by itself, you're the one that gives it meaning,” satoru says, squeezing [name]’s shoulders to bring him closer, “if you like it on the pinky, it stays on the pinky.”
rolling his eyes and deciding that nothing is going to get through his fiance’s head, [name] gave up on challenging satoru. instead, he cuddled closer into his side and breathed in his faint cologne and natural scent.
“i love you, satoru. my dear fiance,” he said into the fabric of his dress shirt, smiling against satoru’s ribs as he repeated the phrase in his head.
satoru didn’t bother biting back his smile as he tilted [name]’s head up to look up at him. he kissed him softly, gently moving their lips against each other in a passionate kiss. and when he pulled away, he made sure to keep eye contact as he said, “i love you more, [name], my dear fiance,”

Begin Again — 04
Synopsis: Harry and Y/N had a secret relationship for almost two years, until they broke up. A year later, she shows up at one of his Love On Tour shows.
Tumblr media
(masterlist)
There he stood, right in front of her, a smile playing on his lips as their gazes met. Y/N felt a rush of emotions, a mix of surprise, nostalgia, and an underlying current of something more profound. The unspoken words of their past seemed to linger in the air between them.
Harry, with his soft brown curls and a simple white shirt paired with jeans and worn-out vans, looked like a page from a memory that she had been trying to forget. Yet, as he stood there, the year they hadn’t seen each other melted away, and they found themselves suspended in a moment that defied time; it seemed like the past months never happened.
The Love Band's living room, with its soft lighting and the faint melody of Fleetwood Mac in the background, turned into a cozy space where only the current moment held importance, at least for Y/N and Harry.
"Hi, sunflower," he replied, the words carrying a weight that transcended the casual greeting. The endearment was a throwback to the days when Harry used to affectionately call her by that sweet nickname, a reminder of their time together.
To Y/N, hearing it from him sounded bittersweet, like the echoes of a melody that brought both the joy of nostalgia and the ache of what they were once.
As Harry spoke, his heart seemed to beat in his chest like the rhythm of a familiar song. In awe of her presence, he couldn't help but marvel at the woman she was. The way her eyes sparkled, the slight curve of her lips as she smiled – it was a sight he had missed more than he realized.
In that suspended moment, their gazes held a conversation that words struggled to capture. Without a word, Y/N found herself stepping forward, drawn by an instinct that transcended logic. Harry, as if guided by the same unspoken force, opened his arms, a silent invitation.
As they embraced, the world seemed to fade away, leaving only the comforting warmth of each other's presence. The hug felt like coming home after a long journey, a familiar haven that resonated with shared laughter, whispered secrets, and the soft melody of their intertwined past.
For a moment, the cozy living room encapsulated the essence of what they used to be – a refuge where their souls met without pretense. The faint scent of Harry's cologne, the gentle rise and fall of their shared breaths, all contributed to the sanctuary of the embrace.
However, as they lingered in the hug, reality began to reassert itself. The made-up living room, once an intimate haven, became a stage where the complexity of their emotions played out. They reluctantly pulled away, a mutual understanding passing between them. The connection was undeniable, but so was the need for boundaries.
"I loved the show, Harry, you did amazing," Y/N said, a soft smile on her lips as she attempted to bridge the transition from the warmth of the hug to the safer ground of friendship. "I love the new album, too."
Harry's eyes crinkled at the corners, appreciating her genuine compliment. "Thanks, Y/N. It means a lot coming from you."
In his mind, he couldn't help but think that she was the muse behind the songs, wondering if she realized the entire album was dedicated to her. The melodies and lyrics, born from their shared experiences, whispered a silent acknowledgment of the impact she had on his creative journey.
"I can see how much you've all grown as a band," Y/N continued, her gaze drifting to the people surrounding them, all engaging in conversation between them, trying to give the couple a little privacy. "The Love Band has really evolved, and it's inspiring."
Harry nodded, a humble gratitude in his response. "We've put a lot of heart into it. It's been quite a journey."
"Speaking of journeys, these are my best friends, Natalie and Maia," Y/N chimed in, a playful glint in her eye, pointing towards the two girls that stood a few meters away. "Let me present you to them; they're fans, just like me." She joked, and Harry couldn't help but chuckle at the playful introduction.
Both Harry and Y/N walked towards them, and as they neared, Natalie and Maia exchanged excited glances, their smiles widening at the sight of the acclaimed musician in their midst.
"Harry, these are my best friends, Natalie and Maia," Y/N chimed in, a playful glint in her eye, gesturing towards the two girls who stood now close to the pair. "Natalie and Maia, this is Harry."
Harry offered a warm smile, extending his hand to each of them. "Nice to meet you both."
Natalie and Maia, both trying to contain their excitement —understanding that he was also their friend’s ex-boyfriend— shook his hand enthusiastically, exchanging introductions with genuine joy. "Nice to meet you Harry, we enjoyed the show so much," Natalie admitted.
Y/N, sensing the formal atmosphere, playfully rolled her eyes. "Okay, you two, you can fangirl. It's okay."
This broke the ice, and they all burst into laughter. The living room, with its soft lighting and the distant hum of Fleetwood Mac's tunes, witnessed the easy camaraderie of new friends. As they settled into conversation, the transition from fan admiration to genuine connection felt effortless, the shared laughter echoing in harmony with the melodies that surrounded them.
Y/N, sensing Natalie and Maia's eagerness to get to know one of the artists they both admired, decided to give them some space. With a smile, she excused herself, mentioning she needed a moment and headed towards the conjoined bathroom.
As she closed the door behind her, Y/N took a deep breath, grateful for the chance to collect her thoughts in the brief solitude. The room's distant chatter and laughter, though comforting, served as a stark reminder of the evening's unexpected reunion with Harry.
As her eyes met her reflection in the bathroom mirror, a mix of emotions played across her face. There was joy, undoubtedly, at the sight of Harry again after a year of separation. His presence evoked a rush of memories, laughter, and shared moments that had shaped a significant chapter of her life. Yet, intertwined with that joy was an ache, a reminder of the emotions she thought time had dulled.
The realization hit her; she had missed him more than she allowed herself to acknowledge. Seeing him, hearing his voice, brought back the echoes of the past, the shared dreams and the bitter taste of the breakup that lingered beneath the surface. It was as if time had folded, and for a moment, the wound felt fresh again.
She held back tears, feeling the weight of unspoken words and unresolved feelings. The bathroom, with its muted ambiance, became a sanctuary where she grappled with the bittersweet truth of their renewed connection. The mix of emotions was a testament to the complexity of their history, a narrative that had left an indelible mark on her heart.
Lost in her whirlwind of memories and emotions, Y/N hadn't realized how much time had passed. The knock on the bathroom door jolted her back to the present, and she hastily wiped away a stray tear. "Coming!" she called out, her voice betraying a hint of vulnerability.
A familiar voice responded, breaking through the door's barrier. "It's me, sunflower. Can I come in?"
Y/N took a big breath, her heart fluttering at the endearing nickname that held echoes of a shared past. With a decisive nod, she unlocked the door, letting him in.
The bathroom door swung open, revealing a smiling Y/N, standing amidst the faint glow of the room. Yet, as normal as she tried to portray herself, he knew her more than she knew herself.
Harry stepped in, closing the door behind him, his green eyes holding a mixture of concern and understanding. "Are you okay?" he asked gently.
Y/N nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Yeah, just needed a moment.” The bathroom felt like their own little bubble and privacy; vulnerable. And for a moment, this was her Harry —well, was— and decided to just be honest. “It's just… a lot to take in, you know?"
Harry mirrored her sad smile, acknowledging the weight of their reunion. "I understand. It's a lot for me too." He gently touched her arm in a comforting gesture, a silent reassurance that spoke volumes. "I never expected to see you in the crowd again… after everything.”
For him, the sight of her in the audience triggered a strong sense of déjà vu, as if time had folded back on itself, recalling the moments when she used to be a familiar face in the crowd every night during their time together.
Feeling the warmth of his touch and the weight of shared history, Y/N found herself enveloped in a spontaneous hug. Harry's arms wrapped around her, a familiar embrace that brought a rush of mixed emotions. At that moment, words seemed inadequate, so they let the hug speak for itself.
"I missed you, bug," Harry whispered, his voice tinged with sincerity. "I'm glad you're here."
Y/N, her eyes damp with unshed tears, managed a small, heartfelt smile. "Me too." The simplicity of those words carried the depth of the emotions they both felt. In the shared hug, amidst the echoes of their past and the uncertainties of the present, they found a moment of solace—a bridge between what was and what could be.

You had a very stable grasp of the limits of your relationship. What was appropriate, and what was not. You were quite shy, and Coryo always carried himself with a high level of decorum. You would eat together at lunch, and he would walk you home most days. The weekends, your study dates, were always your favourite. He was significantly more relaxed, but you could still tell he was just a little tightly wound. By now, you've just learned that's who he is. Not overly affectionate, but he cares for you and you care for him.
"I can't stay late today, I'm sorry." You said, genuinely feeling bad for having to turn down the request. In your junior year, you started tutoring for younger grades at the academy and it is something you thoroughly enjoyed.
"I have a test tomorrow! Why can't you stay? Just for a few minutes- I just have a couple of questions." The first year, Aelia whined.
"My boyfriend is supposed to walk me home and he has a tight schedule, but I'll tell you what, I can meet you in the library in the morning before class. That way it will still be fresh in your mind, yeah?" You grinned, and she seemed satisfied as you agreed on a time, not knowing that a few of the girls in your grade were listening in.
"Y/N," Clemensia decided to approach you as Aelia walked off, Arachne and Livia following close behind. "Did I catch you telling someone that you have a boyfriend? Did I hear that right?"
"Oh, well, yes." You answered sheepishly, gathering your things to put in your bag before your next class.
"Really?" Livia chimed in, and you just nodded. "Okay, well, spill. Who is it? Do I know him?"
"Um..." You looked around, deciding what to say. You weren't necessarily keeping it a secret, but you just hadn't felt the need to tell anyone you went to school with. "It's Coriolanus. Snow." You cleared your throat, unsure why you even added his last name. It's not like the name Coriolanus was abundantly common.
"Shut up." Clemensia laughed slightly, eyes widening at you. "You're joking, right?"
"No... We've been together for almost seven months now."
"I just... wow. We had no idea. Seven months! I feel like I've never seen the two of you get closer than two feet apart." You weren't sure whether to interpret this response as teasing or genuine shock- so you just gave them an awkward smile and a small nod before walking away.
At the time, you had never considered how your lack of affection in public could be confusing to people- not that it mattered. Rumors had spread quickly after that, which was to be expected when Livia and Arachne were involved. However, PDA just wasn't your thing. General displays of affection weren't really your thing, either. Both of you always had a lot going on, and having been together for almost a year by now, you knew that you loved him and he loved you. You didn't have to prove it to each other or to anyone, there was no pressure for anything to change. On your end, anyway.
Coryo, on the other hand, was feeling something shift. Leading up to the reaping and more importantly, to the prize. You both were in the running, being in the top twenty-four of your class, and you had no doubt that Coryo was a shoo-in, but you didn't know how extremely anxious it was making him. The now constant thrumming of his heartbeat in his chest and his shaky hands were always less around you, and he can only dream of how much better it would be if he could just hold you.
These days, he'd wake up expecting you in his arms due to a particularly calming dream only to be disappointed. He respected you a great amount and wouldn't want to push your boundaries, however unspoken. Still, he wasn't sure how much longer he could go about his day-to-day without testing his theory that holding you could cure his fears, or at least let him forget about them for only a moment. He would happily take just a second of peace.
Coriolanus usually greeted you outside of your unshared classes, seeing that you tended to stay a few minutes late to ask questions or polish off your notes. He couldn't wait to see you, he needed to.
"Coryo." You smile, walking out of your lecture hall to see him waiting.
"Hi, Love. How was class?" Your boyfriend greets you, joining you on your walk towards the exit of the school.
"It was good. Though, I find the topic of the rebellion kind of redundant at this point." You say, books tucked against your chest under folded arms. "Is it not too soon to discuss it in a history class? I mean, I literally remember what it was like to live in a bomb shelter."
Your joke seemingly lands on deaf ears as he just hums, placing a hand on your lower back to guide you out of the building. This wasn't totally unusual, but with the way he was pushing you, albeit gently, was telling you that something was wrong.
"Is everything okay?" You ask him, looking up at the boy next to you as you reach the bottom of the academy's front steps.
"Fine." Coryo nods, attempting a reassuring smile that he isn't aware falls short.
"Okay, well... If you want to talk about anything, I'm here for you, you know. Always."
"I know. Thank you, Love." He drops his hand from your back to hold your free one, turning in the direction of your apartment.
The next afternoon, you're in the same class, one of the rare ones you don't share with Coryo, taking down notes from the lecture when there's a knock on the door, followed by it creaking open. You pay no mind, taking the opportunity to catch up on everything written on the board.
"May I borrow Y/N, please?" Your boyfriend's voice is scratchy and shakey in a way unfamiliar sounding to you, making your head snap up. You'd never seen him cry before. "Only for a moment."
Your teacher dismisses you, likely on account of your and Coriolanus's mutually spotless records and his red-rimmed eyes. Clearly, you were needed urgently. You leave your bag and your books, ignoring the whistles and heckling of some of your classmates as you rush to the door.
Coryo had reached his breaking point. He was writing his third paper of the week, unable to focus on that and get his mind off of how unlikely it was he would get the prize if the Dean had any say. Sitting in the library, the world had started turning around him. People were talking, laughing, even, and he couldn't take it anymore. The floodgates opened and he had rushed out of the room. He couldn't go home, his attendance would be affected and he'd be throwing away the prize most definitely. He had nowhere to go, except for to you.
You close the door behind yourself, thankful that the hallway is completely deserted during class time. "Hey, what's going on?" You ask, and before you can get a good look at him he's pulling you into a crushing hug, shaking around you.
You're shocked for a moment, pulling yourself out of your head to hug him back. Whatever is bothering him must be bad. He'd hugged you before, but never like this. "Hey, it's okay..." You whisper, rubbing his back. "Let's go outside for a second, yeah? Get some air?" You offer, gently prying yourself from his grasp to look at him.
Coryo can't speak, overtaken completely by the tears flowing down his cheeks and the anxiety flooding every inch of his body. He feels like he could be sick, all he knew that he needed was you. He just nods, trying to regain his composure, if only for the couple of minutes it takes to get outside.
"Okay. Let's go." You smile, trying not to show how worried you are as you wrap an arm around his back, still holding him close to you as if he has a broken ankle and you have to carry him. So far, his theory was proving to be correct. Just having you at his side was calming to him, and mentally he's cursing himself for not voicing his fears to you before they broke him.
As soon as the door of the rarely used back exit to the school is closed, he's essentially collapsing onto the ground, tucking his knees up to his chest and crying into his hands. You're quick to join him, draping an arm over his back and trying to grab one of his hands to hold. Your brow is knit with worry, rubbing his shoulder as he allows you to take one of his shaking hands. "Coryo..." You say softly, trying to get him to look at you but he won't. "What's happening? Talk to me, you can trust me. I just want to help."
He sniffles, looking up at you. "What is it?" You ask again, hoping to prompt any kind of information out of him. When he doesn't answer, you curve your approach to yes or no questions, hopefully, to make it easier on him. "Is someone hurt? Is it Grandma'am? Did something happen?"
He shakes his head slightly with every question, once again avoiding your eyes as he looks down at the ground, occasionally trying to cough out the knot in his throat.
"...Do you want to talk? Or do you just need a hug?" You realize, leaning in so he would look at you again.
He pulls you closer, wrapping both his arms around you awkwardly due to the way you are both sitting. "Just need you here." He mumbles, hardly audible as he buries his face in your shoulder and neck.
Relieved to hear his voice again, you place a hand on his hair and on his back, holding him tight. "I'm here, Coryo. As long as you need me."

“thank you for telling me how you really feel” — willy wonka x reader
Tumblr media
Summary: you and Willy go on your little day out date, and later that night share a kiss (or two) ;)
Pairing: Timothée!Wonka x fem!reader
Word count: 544
Warnings: again, disgustingly innocent fluff and maybe some typos
Part one here!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“I can’t believe that actually works.” You marveled, in awe of his scheme that allows him to slip in and out unnoticed by Ms Scrubbit or Bleacher.
“Of course it does, I’ve been doing it for weeks.” Willy replied with a hint of pride, his eyes glinting mischievously.
You shook your head in disbelief, a laugh escaping your lips. Willy, with a confident flourish, guided you through the charming streets of the town. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air as you entered a cozy cafe, the gentle chime of a bell announcing your arrival.
As you sat in the quaint cafe, sipping coffee and exchanging stories, the atmosphere hummed with an undeniable connection between you two. Willy couldn’t help but steal glances at you, his eyes filled with genuine affection.
The day unfolded with a natural ease, the initial nervousness giving way to a comfortable familiarity that hinted at a deeper connection forming between you and Willy. It became evident that this date was more than just a casual outing.
As night fell back at Mrs. Scrubbit’s, you found yourself once again in Willy’s room, a quiet sanctuary full of wonder, that seemed to let you forget about the fact that you were quite literally stuck in this place forever. He handed you a small, heart-shaped chocolate.
“Here, try this one.”
“What does this do?” you asked, eyes searching for clues in his mischievous smile.
“It makes you kiss the chocolatier,” Willy said, his tone playful.
You squinted at him, uncertain of the truth, and popped the chocolate in your mouth. The rich sweetness enveloped your senses, and you sighed with delight as it melted on your tongue. Willy watched with anticipation, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
With a boldness surprising to Willy, you leaned in, placing your lips against his. Tenderly, he kissed you back, his hand finding your waist.
“Yes!” The moment was interrupted by a cheer from the hallway, and both of you turned to see Noodle, her hand over her mouth in realisation.
“Noodle!” Willy scolded, swiftly closing the door on her grinning face.
“Sorry!” She shouted, before backing off into her own bedroom.
You chuckled, the sound echoing in the room as you shared a moment of laughter at Noodle’s unexpected enthusiasm. Willy, holding your waist, finally confessed, “I lied, by the way. There’s nothing in those chocolates.”
Your smile faltered, cheeks flushing red.
“But thank you for telling me how you really feel,” he added, his smile genuine.
As the laughter subsided, a comfortable silence settled between you and Willy in the dimly lit room. The mischievous glint in Willy’s eyes spoke of a shared secret, a connection that had blossomed unexpectedly. Amidst the hushed atmosphere, Willy leaned in once again, his lips meeting yours in another soft, lingering kiss.
As you pulled away, the room seemed to hold the echo of that shared kiss. Willy’s eyes met yours, and in that silent exchange, an understanding passed between you two. It was a chapter in the midst of unfolding.
“Goodnight, Willy,” you whispered.
“Goodnight, Y/N,” he replied, a gentle smile playing on his lips.
With one last stolen glance, you retreated into the hallway, leaving Willy’s room and the intimate atmosphere behind.

The Perfumist
Synopsis: As Joshua, a master perfumist with an uncanny ability to blend scents that tell stories, joins forces with Y/N, a bold and ambitious businesswoman, their collaboration becomes a journey into uncharted territory. Beyond the aromatic world of fragrances, an electric chemistry begins to simmer between them, like an intoxicating perfume that lingers in the air.
Word count: 4.8k
Reader! Businesswoman, Joshua Hong! Perfumist
Warnings: smut, joshua dom for a while, oral (f. receiving), fingering (f. receiving), penetrative sex, smacking, unprotected sex, overstimulation, exhaustion, biting, hair pulling, etc.
Y/N, a successful businesswoman with a thriving beauty empire, found herself on a quest to create the next iconic fragrance for her brand. After much research and countless recommendations, she heard about Joshua Hong, a renowned perfumist whose creations were whispered to be nothing short of olfactory masterpieces.
Determined to make her vision a reality, Y/N contacted Joshua and arranged a meeting at his prestigious perfumery nestled in a charming corner of the city. As she drove up in her sleek imported car, the anticipation of the meeting ahead filled the air. Y/N, dressed in a chic ensemble that mirrored her business prowess, stepped out of her car and left the vehicle in the hands of the valet.
Entering Joshua's establishment, the delicate chime of a bell announced her arrival. The perfumery, with its exquisite crystal bottles and intoxicating scents, captivated her senses. The air was alive with a myriad of fragrances, each telling its own story.
Little did she know, Joshua was watching her entrance with keen interest from behind the counter. His sharp senses instantly caught the alluring notes of her fragrance—sweet, velvety, and sensual—creating an invisible trail that left an indelible mark on the air. He couldn't help but be intrigued by the mysterious woman who had just walked into his world.
As Y/N approached Joshua, his eyes met hers, and he couldn't shake the enchantment that her presence brought. With a warm smile, he extended a hand in greeting.
"Welcome, Y/N. I've been eagerly anticipating our meeting," Joshua said, his eyes reflecting genuine interest.
Y/N, impressed by the ambiance of the perfumery and the charisma of the perfumist, reciprocated the smile. "The pleasure is mine, Joshua. I've heard so much about your talent, and I believe you're the one who can bring my vision to life."
Joshua, ever the observant perfumist, couldn't resist a bold statement, "I must say, your choice of fragrance is impeccable. I couldn't help but identify it the moment you walked in."
Y/N's eyes widened in surprise. "You guessed it on the first try?" she exclaimed, a mixture of amazement and curiosity in her voice.
Joshua chuckled, "It's my job to understand and appreciate scents. Yours, however, is truly exceptional. I can't help but wonder if it's a reflection of the woman who wears it."
The second visit to Joshua's perfumery was a delightful continuation of their collaboration. Y/N couldn't help but admire the delicate bottles that adorned the shelves, each holding a promise of olfactory enchantment. The soft glow of the ambient lighting added a touch of magic to the air. As she explored the fragrant haven, Joshua appeared from behind the shelves, a smile playing on his lips as he greeted her. "Y/N, I'm delighted to see you again. How 'bout we hit up the workstation?”
Y/N reciprocated the smile, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "Absolutely, Joshua. I'm eager to be a part of the process."
Joshua gestured for her to join him at the workstation, where vials of concentrated fragrance and meticulously prepared ingredients awaited. As they began the process of diluting the concentrated fragrance into the solvent, Y/N couldn't resist a playful comment, "I'm just thankful I didn't have a bout of rhinitis today. Imagine sneezing and ruining the masterpiece!"
Joshua chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Yes, that would have been a tragedy. You might have missed out on some exceptional elements I prepared just for you."
Their banter infused the air with a light-hearted energy, and Y/N found herself drawn to Joshua's warmth and charm, as they diluted the concentrated fragrance in the solvent, the chemistry between them became palpable. Joshua made sure Y/N was involved in every step, explaining the significance of each ingredient and the artistry behind the blending process. It was more than a collaboration; it was an intimate dance of creativity.
As they worked side by side, Joshua, ever the attentive perfumist, ensured she was an active participant in the process. His forearm brushed against hers, and he couldn't help but feel a subtle electric charge between them. In a moment of shared laughter, as they bottled the fragrance, their hands worked in harmony, and the tension between them seemed to intensify. The subtle exchange of glances, the proximity of their bodies, and the shared laughter painted the perfumery with an atmosphere of undeniable connection.
Joshua, with a mischievous gleam in his eyes, held small testers close to Y/N's nose, inviting her to experience the evolving fragrances they were crafting together, her fingers instinctively wrapped around Joshua's forearm as he presented a particularly captivating fragrance. The touch was fleeting, but the connection felt profound. Joshua, in turn, felt a surge of warmth coursing through him.
As the weeks passed, Joshua and Y/N's collaboration on the fragrance project became more than just a professional endeavor — it blossomed into a shared passion that drew them closer each day. Today marked the culmination of their efforts, and as they stood before the finished masterpiece, a sense of accomplishment and anticipation hung in the air. With a warm smile, Joshua asked her to wait for a moment. He disappeared behind the counter, returning with a small bag adorned with a beautiful bow. Handing it to her shyly, "I wanted to give you a little gift, something as a token of gratitude for this incredible job we've shared."
Curiosity danced in Y/N's eyes as she carefully untied the bow and opened the bag. Inside lay a breathtaking glass bottle, a true work of art. The bottle was a delicate crystal, intricately designed with swirling patterns that caught the light in a mesmerizing dance. The stopper, adorned with a silver crest, added a touch of elegance to the piece. Y/N's fingers traced the contours of the bottle, marveling at its beauty. "Joshua, this is stunning. What is it?" Joshua grinned, his eyes filled with pride. "Open the tap and try it yourself."
She opened the tap, and a fragrant mist enveloped her senses. Closing her eyes, she inhaled deeply. A smile lit up her face. "This smells amazing, Joshua!" He chuckled relieved, his gaze fixed on her. "It will smell even better on your skin, I promise. I made sure the fragrance absorbs well into your skin."
Gently taking the bottle from her hands, Joshua guided Y/N's hair back with utmost delicacy. She tilted her head back, exposing the graceful curve of her neck. The vulnerability of the moment was palpable as he, with a gulp, admired the view before him. With a careful hand, Joshua sprayed the perfume, letting the fragrant mist settle on Y/N's skin. A sigh escaped her lips, and a delighted smile graced her face. He had poured his creativity, passion, and affection into crafting a fragrance that was not only a work of art but a personalized gift for her.
Joshua, still caught in the enchantment of the moment, looked at Y/N with sincerity in his eyes. "Y/N, this fragrance is one of a kind. No one else will have a perfume like this because it was crafted specifically for you."
Y/N's eyes widened with surprise and appreciation. "Really? That's incredibly thoughtful, Joshua. I can't believe you put so much effort into making something so unique."
"Whenever you wear this, remember that it's a scent that belongs to you and only you. A fragrance born out of creativity and the moments we've spent together." He says holding her hand.
Y/N smiled, clutching the bottle close to her heart. "I will cherish it always, Joshua. Thank you for creating something so special for me." A surge of gratitude and affection compelled her to express her feelings. With a soft smile, she leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on Joshua's cheek. His heart fluttered at the unexpected gesture, and a warmth spread through him.
As Y/N began to make her way toward the exit, she turned back to Joshua with a twinkle in her eye. "See you at the perfume launch, right?"
"Of course!" Joshua replied with enthusiasm. The prospect of showcasing their creation to the world, and seeing Y/N again, filled him with anticipation.
With a final smile, Y/N left the perfumery, leaving Joshua standing amidst the scented air, still savoring the warmth from her kiss. As the door closed behind her, he let out a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair, a mixture of excitement and nervousness coursing through him. He couldn't help but marvel at how a project that started as a professional collaboration had transformed into something more. The simple act of Y/N's kiss on his cheek had awakened emotions he hadn't anticipated. Joshua couldn't suppress the grin that crept onto his face as he gave a small slap on the wooden counter, the sound echoing through the perfumery.
[…]
The night of the perfume launch was aglow with excitement and elegance. Y/N stood in the midst of the store, where the air was alive with the mingling scents of their creation. Guests admired the exquisite bottles displayed on elegant tables, sharing compliments about the unique and captivating fragrance. With a glass of champagne in hand, Y/N found herself scanning the crowd, her eyes searching for the one person who had become an integral part of this journey—Joshua. The room was filled with a buzz of conversation, laughter, and the clinking of glasses, but her attention was focused on finding that man with beautiful eyes and a breathtaking smile.
"Looking for someone, darling?" a soft voice whispered near her ear, sending a shiver down her spine.
Y/N turned, and there he was—Joshua, looking dashing in a well-tailored suit, his eyes reflecting warmth and his smile as captivating as ever. A surge of joy and relief washed over her.
"Joshua!" she exclaimed, a genuine smile lighting up her face. "You made it!"
He nodded, a twinkle in his eyes. "Himself."
Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of completeness as Joshua joined her side. Together, they stood amidst the celebration of their collaborative effort. The store, adorned with the fruits of their labor, was a testament to their shared creativity and the journey that had brought them to this moment.
As they mingled with the guests, sharing stories of the perfume's creation and accepting compliments with humility, Y/N and Joshua couldn't help but steal glances at each other. The air was charged with a shared sense of accomplishment and a silent understanding of the connection they had forged.
[…]
The event had come to a close, and the salon was now quiet, its walls echoing the laughter and conversations that had filled the air earlier. Y/N, exhausted but exhilarated, took a moment to herself in front of the mirror. She smiled at her reflection, appreciating the effort she had put into presenting herself for the evening.
As she lowered her head, taking a deep breath to alleviate the fatigue that had settled in her body, Joshua's voice, low and warm, broke the silence. "Sorry about saying this just now, but you look stunning..."
Y/N looked at him through the reflection of the mirror, not turning around. "You're still here?" she inquired, her gaze shifting to the empty street visible through the large windows.
"Oh! Sorry, should I go? I just wanted to make sure to say goodbye to you, properly" he replied.
"You can stay. Don't worry about it," Y/N reassured him.
Joshua walked closer to her, and she observed him through the mirror once again. He stopped when his chest was almost pressed against her back. "So... goodbye?" he asked, looking at her figure in front of him.
She turned around to face him, and their proximity was undeniable. "In a proper way, you said?" she teased.
"Mhmm," he responded, his hand finding her waist while the other cupped the side of her neck. His gaze lingered on her lips, waiting for the courage to take over.
Without further words, he closed the gap between them, pressing his lips against hers. Y/N, surprised at first, quickly melted into the kiss. Joshua held her close, his grip firm yet gentle. A soft moan escaped him as he savored the sensation of her soft lips against his, the world outside disappearing as they lost themselves in the shared moment. Joshua's hand on Y/N's waist tightened slightly, pulling her closer. His other hand, still cradling the side of her neck, allowed his fingers to gently trace the contour of her jaw. Y/N, overcome by the intensity of the moment, responded with equal fervor. Her hands found their way to Joshua's shoulders, fingers gripping the fabric of his suit. The gentle exploration of their tongues became a seamless exchange, a language spoken only between them.
The salon, once a canvas for showcasing their creation, now bore witness to a different kind of artistry—a passionate interplay of two souls drawn together by the magnetic pull of shared longing. Soft sighs escaped them as the kiss deepened, a silent acknowledgment of the emotions that had simmered beneath the surface. Breaking away for a moment, they gazed into each other's eyes, breathless and vulnerable. The reflection in the mirror captured the aftermath of their shared desire, the air around them still charged with the electricity of the kiss.
"I... I didn't plan for that," Joshua admitted, his voice filled with a mix of surprise and longing.
Y/N smiled, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Sometimes, the best moments are the ones unplanned."
He chuckled, his thumb gently brushing over her lower lip. "I suppose you're right." He says touching their lips again.
The intensity of the moment hung in the air as Y/N and Joshua continued to revel in the aftermath of their passionate kiss. A low, involuntary moan escaped Y/N's lips, a visceral reaction to the electric connection between their bodies.
Joshua, his eyes darkened with desire, felt the vibration of her moan reverberate through him. He tightened his embrace, drawing her even nearer, their bodies molded together in a dance of longing. The chemistry between them was undeniable, a magnetic pull that seemed to transcend the physical space around them.
Their breaths mingled, warm and unsteady, filling the silence of the salon. The scent of their perfume creation lingered, adding an intoxicating layer to the charged atmosphere. In that moment, time seemed to stand still as they held onto each other, bodies pressed intimately close. Y/N, with a soft sigh, tilted her head slightly, inviting Joshua to explore the delicate curve of her neck. The tender, vulnerable skin there seemed to beckon him, and he responded instinctively, placing a lingering kiss along the exposed skin. The sensation sent shivers down Y/N's spine, her fingers tightening their grip on Joshua's shoulders.
With a graceful turn, Joshua shifted Y/N, their bodies now intimately close. His chest pressed against her back, and her hips brushed against his in a magnetic alignment of desire.
Joshua's hands traced a slow and deliberate path down the smooth expanse of Y/N's back, his touch sending shivers through her as he explored the exposed skin. The backless dress, a subtle invitation, offered a canvas for his gentle exploration. As his hands reached the lower edge of the dress, he paused, feeling the delicate fabric against his fingertips. With a deliberate and tender touch, he lowered the dress strap, revealing more of her bare skin. The fabric slid down, unveiling the elegant curve of her back and the tantalizing allure of the moment.
In the hushed aftermath of their intimate encounter, Joshua's voice, a low and intimate murmur, broke through the silence. "I could recognize this smell anywhere. It's you," he confessed, his words carrying a depth of connection that went beyond the physical. "This scent is yours, and now, it's etched into every part of me," he murmured.
As the air in the salon crackled with anticipation, Joshua's hands expertly navigated the intricate details of Y/N's dress. With a slow, deliberate movement, the dress found its way to the floor, pooling around her feet like a cascade of silk. The unveiling left Y/N standing in the dim light, her skin bathed in a soft glow, and the air charged with an electric tension.
Joshua's lips, now free from the fabric that had concealed them, hungrily sought the warm expanse of Y/N's neck. As he captured the delicate skin between his teeth, a mixture of pleasure and desire coursed through her, causing her to arch slightly against him. “Ah, Joshua!”
As he held her close, his touch shifted to her chest, the echo of her moan hung in the air, a melodic response to the tender exploration of Joshua's hands. As he continued to tease and caress. In a breathy whisper, she called his name, the sound a plea and an invitation. Joshua, attuned to her every nuance, looked into her eyes with an intensity that mirrored her own desires. "What do you want?" he asked, his voice a velvety murmur that danced on the edge of anticipation.
Her response was a mixture of vulnerability and longing.
"You," she admitted, her gaze unwavering. The perfume-laden air seemed to thicken with the weight of unspoken promises, and the mirror reflected the mutual hunger in their eyes.
A seductive smile played on Joshua's lips as he heard her desire, and with a promise in his eyes, he decided to give in to the shared longing. "You can have me," he whispered, the words resonating with a raw sensuality. As the room pulsed with anticipation, Joshua began to reveal his toned body with a deliberate slowness. Piece by piece, fabric slid away, exposing the sculpted contours beneath. The dim light in the salon accentuated the lines of his physique, casting a tantalizing glow on the skin that was now revealed.
Y/N watched with hungry eyes, the air between them thick with desire.
With a confident yet gentle touch, guided her to the counter. The smooth surface cool beneath her skin, she arched slightly, her anticipation palpable. The salon, once a stage for celebration, now transformed into an intimate setting for their shared desires. With a controlled urgency, Joshua pressed his body against hers, bending her over the counter. As he felt the subtle movement of her hips, a soft moan escaped Joshua's lips.
His hands slides to her stomach, lowering his touch, with a deft touch, Joshua pushed aside the thin and delicate panties. The material yielded under his fingers, revealing the throbbing and wet pussy, waiting for him. He travels his fingers through her folds, making her neck relax, laying her head on the counter.
Joshua, guided by the unspoken understanding between them, threaded his fingers into Y/N's hair. With a deliberate and slightly rough pull, her head tilted backward, exposing the vulnerable curve of her neck. His other fingers sliding into her pussy in a fast movement. In response to the unexpected sensation, Y/N's lips parted in an "O" of pleasure.
Joshua, attuned to the nuances of Y/N's responses, felt a subtle shift in the atmosphere as her moans filled the salon. A furrow formed on his brow, a mixture of concentration and desire. As he continued to work his skilled fingers, he couldn't help but be captivated by the sounds of her pleasure. "You like that, don't you?" he murmured, his voice a velvety whisper that hung in the air, a question loaded with a deep understanding of their shared desires.
"Answer me," Joshua's command, accompanied by a tightening grip on Y/N's hair, hung in the air like a potent force, demanding her response.
Overwhelmed by the intensity of the sensations coursing through her, Y/N found herself unable to form coherent words, so she nods affirmaly.
She feels a hard slap displayed on her ass, flesh burning at the sensation. “Answer me properly!" The curling of Joshua's fingers added a new layer of sensation, a deliberate move that intensified her pleasure, making her scream gripping the counter tighter.
"Y-Yes" she stutters, her response carrying the weight of submission and arousal.
Y/N, overcome by the intoxicating sensations, found herself unable to contain the urgency in her voice. Her breathless whispers turned into a plea as she begged Joshua for more.
"Please, more," she gasped, her voice carrying a mixture of need and desire. The air in the salon seemed to vibrate with the charged energy of their intimate exchange.
Joshua, reveling in the power dynamics of their connection, looked into her eyes with an intensity that mirrored her own desires. "Tell me what you want," he commanded, his voice a low and authoritative murmur.
Her response, a melodic blend of pleasure and assertiveness, filled the room. “Fuck!.. I want to you fuck me!” she declared, the words tinged with both urgency and a hint of aggressiveness.
Joshua, savoring the dynamics of their intimate exchange, bit his lip with a subtle sense of amusement. "Getting angry, are we?" he teased, a chuckle escaping his lips. The air in the salon held a charged tension, a delicate balance between pleasure and the edge of something more.
Y/N, caught in the whirlwind of conflicting emotions, whined in response. Tears began to roll down her face, a manifestation of the intense mixture of pleasure, desire, and vulnerability that enveloped her. Her pleas became more urgent as she begged Joshua for the fulfillment of her desires. He looks at her situation, arousal already dripping on his fingers, following the way to the floor.
He decides to kneel, spreading her legs, so he can suck her clit, hot tongue flicking the sensitive bud fast. Y/N grabs his hair, screaming his name repeatedly, not being able to hold the knot in her stomach, feeling a wave of weakness washing over her.
Joshua's voice took on a tone of authority as he declared, "You're such a bad girl. I didn't give you permission to cum.” The words hung in the air, laced with a mix of playful scolding and a deeper undertone of dominance. "You're so mean Joshua…”
Joshua, with a smirk, retorted, "And you're mean for teasing me all this time. Did you think I wouldn't notice the touches, the way you let your shirt fall off your shoulder, or those looks you gave me?" His words carried a subtle mix of reproach and amusement. He continued, sliding his dick inside of her slowly. "I had to control myself at max. You're not innocent in all of this… Oh!”
Y/N, caught off guard by the sudden shift, gasped in both surprise and delight. He starts to fuck her fast, the intimate sounds of their connection filled the salon. The rhythmic slapping of skin against skin echoed in the space, creating a sensual symphony.
He found that perfect spot that sent a jolt of sensation through Y/N's body. In response, Y/N tightened, her body instinctively reacting to the exquisite touch that sparked an intense surge of pleasure. As the intimate dance of pleasure continued, Joshua, overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment, couldn't help but let out a whimper. He laid his head on Y/N's shoulder, the vulnerable gesture mirroring the profound connection they shared. Joshua, seeking confirmation, asked, "Is it right here?" In response, Y/N, caught in the throes of pleasure, answered with a mantra of "Yes, yes, yes, yes."
As Y/N turned her neck, revealing her face to Joshua, she met his gaze with an aroused expression, intensifying the connection between them. Her subtle yet deliberate move invited him to witness the raw desire reflected in her eyes. Joshua, captivated by the sight, felt a surge of arousal as he quickened his movements. In response to the escalating pleasure, he couldn't help but moan, the sound carrying a mix of desire and a hint of vulnerability. The salon, once a space for artistic creation, had become a theater for the unbridled expression of their shared passion.
"Please, don't do this to me" he murmured closing his eyes.
Sensing the impending wave of pleasure, he stops keeping his dick deep inside of her, making her knees tremble when she feels the tip of his cock pressing hardly on her g spot. Joshua pulled Y/N's hair with a rough grip. The sudden, forceful gesture was met with a gasp from Y/N, who instinctively sought to stifle any potential scream by taking in a sharp breath.
Y/N responded with a rhythm of tightening and loosening, caught in the throes of pleasure. Joshua, feeling the flow of her reactions, rolled his eyes back in a moment of bliss “Fuck, fuck, fuck! Stop doing that, I’ll cum!” He cries.
Her, with a breathless yet commanding voice, told Joshua, "Let it come." Her words carried a mix of encouragement and desire, urging him to fully embrace the impending release.
Joshua, attuned to her guidance, allowed himself to surrender to the oncoming wave of pleasure, moving his hips again. His cum dripping her puffy pussy, while he keep going fast, feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment, found solace on the crook of Y/N's neck. Tears welled up in his eyes, the oversensitivity taking him, while he motivates himself to bring her own climax.
His fingers plays with one of her nipples, while the other rubs her clit fast. Joshua’s sensitive moans on her ear, made her orgasm take care of her entire body. As Y/N's knees gave way, she felt a rush of overwhelming sensations, and her vision blurred into a sea of white. The echoes of Joshua's voice reached her as if from a distance, muffled by the intensity of the moment. Her body quivered with the aftermath of their shared climax, and she felt a wave of weakness washing over her.
Joshua, sensing her faltering strength, reacted with widened eyes. He held her tightly to his chest, a mixture of concern and tenderness etched on his face. With genuine worry, he called out to her, asking if she was okay and calling her name.
Joshua swiftly reacted, gently sitting her on the counter. He wrapped his arms around her trembling body, cradling her face in his hands. "Oh my god," Joshua murmured, his voice a tender mix of relief and worry. He held her close, the aftershocks of their shared release still coursing through both of them. Y/N, gradually awakening from the profound experience, felt the warmth of Joshua's embrace and the reassurance in his voice. As Y/N gradually regained her composure, Joshua, still holding her close, looked into her eyes with genuine concern. "Are you okay, darling?" he asked, his voice filled with a mix of worry and tenderness.
With a weak yet appreciative smile, Y/N managed to muster a soft "Yes." She leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss at the corner of Joshua's mouth, a silent gesture of gratitude for the care and support he had provided. "You scared me," he admitted, a mixture of playfulness and sincerity in his tone. Y/N, still catching her breath, smiled at Joshua. "Sorry, it was just too good," she said, her eyes reflecting a sense of satisfaction and amusement.
As they began to dress, the atmosphere in the salon retained the lingering echoes of their shared laughter and the sweet, velvety notes of their fragrance. Y/N, looking up at Joshua, couldn't help but playfully continue their banter, "Who would have thought a perfumery collaboration could lead to such... discoveries?" Her eyes sparkled with a mixture of playfulness and affection.
Joshua, still savoring the joyous atmosphere, responded with a tender smile, "Life is full of surprises, isn't it?" They shared a moment of quiet contemplation, appreciating the twists and turns that had enriched their journey and deepened their connection. As they finished dressing and the air in the salon began to settle, Joshua, still sensitive to Y/N's well-being, asked with genuine concern, "Would you like to rest?"
Y/N, appreciating his thoughtfulness, nodded with a grateful smile. "Yes, that sounds nice."
Joshua suggested, "My apartment is nearby. We can go there if you'd like."

This is inspired by this ask! Thank you for letting me use this idea @ceilidho. Also not proofread because it's late and I should really be sleeping
Part 2 here
Butcher!Simon who can't help but get excited, as excited as he can get, when he sees you walking down the sidewalk towards the shop.
You're such an adorable thing, really. Always nervously wringing your fingers when you leave your dog outside. Always polite and soft spoken. He's never seen anyone as pure as you before (even tho he can't know how pure you are but compared to him you are basically a saint).
Your dog is the opposite of you, big and scary with a mean face but utterly whipped for you. It's obvious that you got it for protection and it's intimidatingly well trained. Simon admires the way you handle the animal. He wouldn't mind letting you handle him the same way.
Him and the dog might not be so different, he thinks. Both hardened old men, used to a harsher lifes, that soften for you and would follow your lead every day. Hell, he'd be as well behaved as your dog too if you put a collar and a leash on him and kissed his head the way you kiss your dogs when you leave him outside.
It's a familiar dance at this point, you tie your dog to the pole outside, look into the shop, notice Simon already looking at you and promtly look away at your dog once more.
You draw a few deep breaths, kiss your dogs head (damnit he never thought he'd be jealous of a dog) and Simon can't help but smile behind his mask, utterly enamored.
If only you weren't so intimidated by him. He really wishes he could have a conversation with you but he never gets more out of you than one word answers and a finger pointing at the meat you want.
And fuck, Simon is no conversationalist but he's really trying for you, but you're so damn timid around him. If he doesn't get to hear your pretty voice more he might just lose his damn mind.
So when you open the door, the chime a soft sound in the backround, entirely unfitting for this type of shop, his gruff voice stops you.
"You can bring him in with ya."
"I'm sorry, what?", you ask, confused.
"The dog.", Simon clarifies and you stand there in the open door looking at him like he just told you that he'll be butchering and selling your dog next.
Did he already fuck this up? You seem even more intimidated than usual. The diversion from your routine making your interaction even more tense. He tries to soften his voice when he goes again.
"You can bring your dog inside with ya, if it makes you more comfortable, sweetheart."
Your eyes are big when you meet his. Whether it's because of what he offered or the petname that slipped out, he isn't sure.
"But the sign says only service dogs?", you question genuinely confused.
Simon nearly snorts at your expression, like a deer caught in the headlights and damn him, if he doesn't wanna catch you.
"It's fine, just don't tell the boss. He won't know that it's no service dog as long as you don't rat me out. The boss can't tell a dog from a cat if I'm bein' honest.", he whispers conspiracionally. And then he swears he nearly has a heart attack.
You giggle. You giggle and blush brightly red at the same time, hiding your mouth with your hand and it takes everything in Simon to stop himself from jumping over the counter and pulling that hand away because the glimpse of your smile?! Yeah, he's fucked.
"Maybe next time I'll bring him in with me.", you finally answer. And Simon could die a happy man, finally having had a conversation with you (maybe just a short one but a conversation nontheless) that involves something other than the meat.
He's utterly fucked when you walk up to the counter, still blushing prettily (he didn't know he could make you do that so easily) and softly say your order.
He's utterly fucked when you pay, look at his name tag and say: "Thank you, Simon."
His name in your voice is a sound he will never forget again. He's sure he sounds like a fool when he says: "Have a nice day."
He's even more fucked when you turn around and he watches your cute ass walk out of the shop, giving your dog a treat for being so well behaved.
He nearly faints when you turn around, before walking away, gift him with a smile and wave goodbye. He returns the gesture mindlessly, glad that his mask is hiding the stupid expression he surely is wearing at that moment.
Oh yeah, he needs to catch you. And for that he'll have to prepare dog treats for next time.

NODS AND SMILES

You and Frank shared many similar characteristics - both quiet individuals, preferring the company of oneself over the hustle and bustle of others. But amongst the likeliness laid many juxtaposing traits. Frank had the charm and confidence to initiate a conversation with a stranger - to talk as if he'd known them a lifetime, whereas you were the polar opposite. You had trouble stirring up a discussion with someone you didn't know - to talk freely without fear of embarrassing yourself.
You're the kind of person who requires time to warm to someone - who needs a blanket of security to feel comfortable enough to open up. There were very few that have made you feel that way, the main being your boyfriend, Frank.
Through Frank's unquestioning love and reassurance, you've learnt he is a pillar you can rely on to feel comfortable - someone that can make you feel safe in unfamiliar settings. He's the kind of person you use for a sense of comfort.
So when you find yourself a shy, queasy mess surrounded by Frank's friends, you know you can count on your boyfriend to coax you out of hiding if needed. You wanted to mingle, to join in on the conversation -with the help of liquid courage- but you couldn't form any words for the life of you.
There wasn't much you could do other than nod and smile as Karen shared stories about her work. You wanted to ask her questions - get to know her, to get to know more about the woman who's helped keep your boyfriend alive, but as others chimed in, steering the conversation, you decided to stay quiet, nervously biting your straw as you tapped your foot to the bar music.
Frank sat beside you, cornering you in the booth, a protective hand on your knee as he sipped on a beer and caught up with his friends.
You wanted to speak up - ask questions about them, talk about something that interested you, but as you finally buckled up enough courage, the conversation drew to a close, and the others went to the bar to refresh their drinks.
The second the table empties, Frank turns to you, his face full of concern. He wanted to ask what had happened - why you cocooned yourself after promising to try. He wanted to ask what had you all turned around, why you hadn't said more than five words, but as he noticed your subtle frown, he knew now wasn't the time.
"Wanna go home, mama?" Frank quietly asked, slipping his hand into yours, his thumb brushing comforting strokes over the back of it.
"No, no. I'm good," you lie, flashing a faux smile.
Frank could see right through you - he always could. He knew you were lying to spare his feelings, pretending you were enjoying bar night for the sake of him. He found it admirable for you to put yourself in the depths of discomfort so that he could catch up with old pals.
And as the others rejoined around the table, Frank began to gather your things, whipping up an elaborate lie to avoid putting you in the spotlight - saying how it was getting late and he hadn't eaten yet.
You said your goodbyes with genuine smiles, hugging his friends before leaving the bar.
Your arm wrapped around Frank's as you quietly walked down the late-night street, following after his lead. He knew you felt worn down and tired from your evening out, drained and wanting nothing more than to be in the comfort of home, so he suggested grabbing take-out to enjoy on the couch.
You stopped past one of your locals, ordering all your favourite dishes to reward you for your efforts tonight. And after eating your body weight in take-out food, you spent the rest of the night snuggled on the sofa watching shitty tv, recuperating.

jerking him off in public
✰ ✰ ✰ you just had to tease him , he’s so distracted it’s cute ! but keep teasing and you’ll end up in the back seat
જ⁀➴ wrote this with my pussy.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Suguru’s hand ran up your thigh, slipping past the cute black stockings you wore and squishing the small plush of your thigh. “You look so cute today..” he smiles, seemingly innocent. yet you try to pay no mind, “really? thank you sweetheart.” your voice was soft, focused on the document you typed in.
you two were at, a nearly deserted, starbucks. sitting in a small secluded booth as you worked on your essay. only a few people were inside, doing the same as you and completing their work with caffeine to keep them up during the morning. there was occasional chimes of the doors, tired workers coming in to get their everyday to go drinks.
and you looked so adorable today, already dressed up for your brunch with your friends in the next few hours. the skirt you wore was one he picked for you, knowing you weren’t used to wearing them. and god, it left little for the imagination. the stockings hugging your skin weren’t helping him much either. he swears, he loves your body so much. he’s happy that it’s all his to worship at night, morning, anytime. he’s so lucky to be dating you, he thinks.
the way your eyes narrowed in concentration as you proofread your essay had his heart beating faster, and his cock pulsating. it reminds Suguru when you’d glare down at him cutely whenever he’d stop eating out your cunt, just to tease.
Suguru let’s out a small groan at the thought, his hand tightening around the plump of your thighs. you looked over at him with a raised eyebrow, “you good?” you whisper, such a genuine look in your eyes, not even noticing the state you had him in. “need you to help me baby..” he whines under his breath, his eyes flickering to the small bulge in his sweats.
seeing the peak of his cock through them made you bite your lip, “mm, what were you thinkin’ about? s’to early for this baby.” the sultry tone of your voice would’ve made his knees buckle. already aching to just grind into the palm of your hand as it ghosts over his sweats. “like i said, you look too cute today. wanna flick up that skirt…” Suguru trails off as you rub his erection through his sweatpants, his own hand sliding under your skirt and pulling aside your panties.
he takes in a breath when he feels your slick coat his fingers, “oh look at you. all wet just from my words.” you scoff, squeezing around the head of his cock before sneaking your hand under his sweats. “shut up. i bet you came in your pants before i even touched you.” a smirk grows on your face when you finally feel the wet patch in his underwear, his cock already twitching the second you wrap your hand around it.
“keep being a brat and i’ll give these people a show.” Suguru’s fingers smear your wetness around your folds, but before he could slip them in, you swat his hand away. making him retract his arm. “you won’t need to. m’pretty sure that worker is staring. so be good and i’ll get you off just how you want. and maybe i’ll let you fuck me in the car before you drop me off later.” you whisper, placing a kiss on his cheek.
thinking quickly before the worker looks over again, you sit your purse on his thigh to hide your ministrations. “maybe? i gotta stuff that sweet cunt baby. w-wanna see your pretty pussy leak with my cum..” he groans, his voice wavering as you pump his cock, your thumb swiping over the precum around his tip. “i know you will. wan’ you to fill me up to the brim.” you murmur, making his cock throb. he leans back in the seat, bringing a hand up to his mouth as he spurts in your hand.
“Fuck, hurry up baby. pack your shit, we’re going to the car.”

Hey! could you please write something about Aemond hearing his name in a conversation, he stays at the door sure he will hear something bad but instead he hears the lady talk about her sex dreams about him
Thank you so much💙
Tumblr media
Warnings: Smut. Word count: ~1400
Aemond strides down the corridor of the Red Keep, in the direction of the training yard. It is mid-morning and his schedule runs like clockwork - he has a sparring session with Ser Criston Cole in 15 minutes and fully intends to arrive early, he always does.
Raucous laughter echoes down the hallway. He catches the source of it through a crack in the solar door, which has been left ajar. Helaena’s ladies in waiting are all reclining on the couches inside, though there is no sign of the Princess which they are in service of.
He scowls. He doesn’t understand why they aren’t shut away when not in Helaena’s presence. They are always laughing, it gives him a migraine. What could possibly be so funny?
The giggles subside when one of them speaks in hushed tones.
“I had a dream last night…about Prince Aemond.”
His ears prick up at this, his curiosity piqued, and he hovers to the left of the doorframe, so he can listen in undetected. He is certain that what is to follow will be some gruesome retelling of the One-Eyed Prince being the source of night terrors, it would not be the first time he has overheard unkind words about himself.
“Oh? Do share.” One of them pipes up.
“I-I can’t.” She stammers. “It is improper.”
Aemond’s eye widens at this. He leans forward, peering through the gap to see which of them it is. She is pretty. Beautiful, actually. He has never bothered to take the time to properly look at any of them before, usually doing his best to avoid them at all costs, but there is no denying that she is fairer than any woman he has ever looked upon. He hopes more than anything that the rest of this wretched gaggle can convince her to divulge further details.
More giggles erupt, before a voice chimes in.
“Oh, go on, your secret’s safe with us!”
“Well…we were coupling…and it felt good…I have heard that lying with a man is painful and uncomfortable, but I was enjoying it, and after…he pleasured me with his mouth…”
This is a chorus of gasps, followed by more laughing.
Aemond feels his heart hammering inside of his chest. It seems so loud he is certain the ladies in the solar will notice and catch him in the act of eavesdropping. His skin flushes hot from his neck all the way to the tips of his ears. He is in utter disbelief at what he has just heard.
“Were you not repulsed by it? He is disfigured after all.”
“No.” She rebuffs. “Actually, I find Prince Aemond rather dashing…”
Aemond pushes off of the wall and hurries away. He has heard enough. He does not know how to handle the words he was just privy to. They were not meant for his ears and yet he cannot undo hearing them. What is he supposed to do with the way they have set his pulse racing? He never asked for this, had never even noticed her before today, and yet he cannot help replaying the words in his mind.
We were coupling.
It felt good.
He pleasured me with his mouth.
I find Prince Aemond rather dashing.
For the first time in his life he is late to the training yard. Ser Criston greets him with a reproachful look, before Aemond suffers through what is undoubtedly the worst sparring session he has participated in since he first took up a wooden sword as a child.
We were coupling.
His sword is knocked from his hand.
It felt good.
His shield splinters under a blow from a morningstar.
He pleasured me with his mouth.
He is knocked to the ground.
I find Prince Aemond rather dashing.
The point of Criston’s sword is at his throat.
“Is everything alright, My Prince?” Criston asks with genuine concern, offering out a hand and helping Aemond back to his feet.
Aemond’s eye is wide, his breathing laboured, and not from the exertion of training.
“I-I think I am unwell, Cole. Please excuse me.”
He stalks back inside, seeking solace in the library. Pulling a copy of Unnatural History from the shelf, his favourite book to lose himself in, he settles into an armchair and begins to read.
“The bloodmages of Valyria used wyvern stock to create dragons…we were coupling…The bloodmages of Valyria…it felt good…”
“Seven hells!” He slams the book shut upon realising he cannot get past the first line, sighing and pinching the bridge of his nose.
He pleasured me with his mouth.
He has never heard of a man doing such a thing to a woman. Despite the vulgarity of it, he is intrigued. He places his copy of Unnatural History on the nearby table and stands, making his way towards the end of the library that contains the more salacious reading material.
He takes a quick look around to make sure the prying eyes of the maesters aren’t watching him, before scanning the shelves and selecting the tome he feels will be most relevant for what he is attempting to research.
It only takes a few seconds of flicking through the pages before he finds what he’s looking for. Graphic descriptions of how women can be prepared for intercourse, and even brought to peak, via the use of lips and tongue.
His eye widens and his breathing quickens as he imagines licking her in her most intimate area. It’s only when he realises that his cock is now straining painfully against the laces of his breeches that he hurriedly places the book back on the shelf and retires to his chambers.
He lays on his bed that afternoon, spilling into his own hand, with her name falling from his lips like an urgent prayer.
She is there at the dining table when he goes to supper that evening. It is not unusual for Helaena to invite her ladies in waiting to dine with them, and usually Aemond sits at the far end of the table, avoiding eye contact and all attempts at conversation. However, this evening feels different. Prior to tonight he had never heard her say she found him “dashing”, he had never pleasured himself to the thought of burying his face between her thighs.
Guilt blooms heavily in his chest as he takes his seat. His food remains untouched. Every time he looks up he catches her eyes upon him. Does she know? How could she?
In truth, he cannot keep his eyes off of her either and it is probably that that drives her to stare as she does.
On an ordinary evening, Aemond sips delicately at his wine throughout the meal, leaving the cup almost full by the time he leaves the table. However, tonight he finds himself draining his first and gulping greedily at the second. The calming effect it has on his nerves is most agreeable to him.
He pleasured me with his mouth.
His grip on the edge of the wooden table turns his knuckles white, as he struggles to compose himself. His sigh of relief is almost audible as the meal draws to a close and everyone begins to retire for the evening.
He catches sight of her outside of her own bedchamber door as he is returning to his. Fuelled by the confidence that two cups of wine on an empty stomach has granted him, he lengthens his strides, catching up to her before she is able to make it inside and close the door.
She turns, startled, as he grabs her arm, pulling her towards him.
“My Prince?” She asks, a hint of fear and confusion pinching her delicate features as her brow furrows slightly.
Acting on his new found boldness, Aemond leans down to whisper in her ear, his voice husky. “I heard what you said earlier.”
He regards her face carefully as he pulls back, but there is no apparent recollection, so he decides to be more daring. Leaning in once more he says “Just so you know, if I were going to pleasure you with my mouth, I’d do it before I stuck my cock in your cunt, not after.”
He lets her go and walks away with a smirk. When he chances a glance back over his shoulder and sees that she is still frozen in place, her mouth agape, he knows that she knows exactly what he is talking about and his words have had the desired effect.
“Sweet dreams, my lady.” He calls behind him.

Pairing: Travis Kelce x Reader
Anon: I have a Travis request where reader meet his parents/family.
CLOSER | TRAVIS KELCE
As the autumn leaves painted the town in shades of gold and crimson, you prepared for a significant moment in your relationship with Travis.
Tonight, you would meet his mother, Donna, a woman he held in the highest regard. The anticipation tingled in the air, mixing with the aroma of roasted vegetables and simmering sauce. You were at Travis’s place, preparing dinner for his mom.
With each slice of the knife and stir of the pot, your thoughts wandered to Travis's stories of his mother. She was his everything - the rock that steadied him through life's turbulent moments, and the guiding light that inspired him to reach for the stars. You wanted to make a good impression, not just for the sake of a dinner, but to show her that you understood and valued the woman who had shaped the incredible man you loved.
You felt hands snaked around your waist and a fresh but musky scent filled your nose, leaning in, Travis’s warmth enveloped you.
‘’Smells amazing baby’’ he said resting his head on top of yours.
You got interrupted as the doorbell chimed, your heart skipping a beat. Travis released his grip and got to the door, inviting his mom inside. There she stood, a warm smile on her face, exuding a kindness that seemed to radiate from her very being.
"Hello, dear. You must be the lovely Y/N" she said, extending her hand.
"Yes, it's so wonderful to finally meet you," You replied, feeling instantly at ease.
The evening unfolded seamlessly. You guys chatted about family, hobbies, and life in general. Her eyes sparkled with laughter as she shared stories of Travis and Jason's childhood antics.
"Oh, you should've seen him trying to ride that old bicycle!" she chuckled. "He was determined, but it took him a few tumbles to get the hang of it. And don’t even get me started about him wanting to play football and follow in his brother’s footsteps.’’
You couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the glimpse into his past, a past that had paved the way for your future together.
As you gathered around the table, the spread before you was a feast fit for a queen. The clinking of cutlery and glasses was accompanied by an easy camaraderie.
"Oh, the time he tried to make pancakes by himself! I came home to find flour all over the kitchen." Laughter filled the room as Travis sheepishly admitted to the pancake disaster.
"This meal is exquisite, dear. You're quite the chef."
"Thank you. I wanted to make a special dinner for our first meeting."
"That is very sweet of you. This lasagna is absolutely delicious," Donna exclaimed. "You must share the recipe with me!"
With a smile, you replied, "Of course! I'd be happy to." You looked over to your boyfriend seeing the genuine smile placed on his lips.
As dessert arrived, Travis's eyes met yours with a silent thank you. He had been nervous about this meeting, anxious for his mother's approval. Seeing her laugh and converse with you, he knew that she was just as pleased with you as he was.
After dessert, you retired to the living room, where the crackling fire cast a cozy glow.
"Would you like some coffee or tea?" You asked Donna "A cup of tea sounds lovely, thank you."
Wrapped in the warmth of conversation, you felt a sense of belonging that went beyond mere introductions.
"So Y/N, tell me more about your work," she inquired, her eyes filled with genuine interest. She reminded you of your own mother.
You eagerly shared your passions, and she listened with an attentiveness that made you feel truly valued.
As the evening drew to a close, Travis walked his mother to the door, leaving you a moment of quiet reflection.
"Thank you for tonight," she said, her voice warm and genuine. "You make my son so happy, and that's all a mother could ever ask for."
Touched by her words, you smiled. "Thank you for raising such an incredible man. He means the world to me."
With a final hug, she left, leaving behind a newfound sense of connection and acceptance. You watched Travis as he returned, his smile radiant.
"Thank you for being amazing," he murmured, pulling you close. You wrapped your arms around his rib cage, hugging him tight. "Your mom is awesome, Trav. I can see where you get your warmth and kindness."
"She really liked you, and that means the world to me. I'm so lucky to have you in my life." He said kissing the top of your head before leading you to the backyard.
That night, under a canopy of stars, you sat on the porch swing, wrapped in blankets, hands entwined. As the cool breeze danced around you, you couldn't help but feel immense gratitude for the evening that had brought you and Travis a little closer.

pretty jewelry ━━ ( 엔하이픈 재윤 ) ♡ genre fluff established relationship warnings not proof-read skinship kissing petnames
thinking about boyfriend jake who loves it when you pick out a new piece of jewelry from his collection for him; okay, maybe he enjoys seeing the genuine ponder imbued in your features as you scan his clothes, a bit too much… though.. can you really blame him? he just finds you so pretty!
he just loves acting all confused whilst stringing the pretty, chain necklace around his neck, lips parting to ask if you’re able to help him out; he loves every part of it— the slight puzzlement in your furrowed brows, the way you walk closer to him, his body bending instinctively to give you more comfort in hooking the little clasp to the extender, the gentle brush of your fingers against the nape of his neck— everything’s so soft, and he loves that so, so much.
he can’t help but to chime a little “baby, could you help me with this?” whenever he wishes to wear a bracelet. it’s not that he can’t do it himself, it’s that he prefers you doing it, especially when you both are in such close proximity— he just can’t help but to steal a few kisses whenever you’re right in front of him, pretty lips practically calling out to him… or he just wants an excuse to plant a sweet peck on your cheek— it’s another way to say ‘thank you’, he claims.
okay, maybe he’s a little lovesick with you… no, to be completely real, ‘little’ is the biggest understatement ever— extremely suits better, especially when he has a hand on the dip of your waist, the other lightly grasping your chin as he brings you close for another ‘thank you’ kiss. yeah, he’s extremely in love with you.
