I just wanted to say thank you. I found your post on the 2012 Hamato Clan in their 20's, and as somone who watched the Mutant Apocalypse arc for the first time yesterday, it was incredibly healing and exactly what I needed.
Aw! You’re so very welcome! I’m sure at least some of you know this, but I absolutely hate Mutant Apocalypse. That post, in addition to being a fun prompt and project, was also a sort of spite post so that everyone can have the ending they really wanted instead of whatever heck Mutant Apocalypse is.
I’m really glad everyone is liking this so much ^v^ it’s good knowing I’m not the only one who wanted a better ending 🤣

there needs to be a word for the type of show that is just one story line, and it takes exactly as long as it needs to tell the story and then ends. like, the good place feels like they wrote the entire thing before they even started filming the first season. and then it ended when the story was done. no scrambling for a renewal, no fumbling a shitty story, just done.
is there a word for that?

There are shows with just a bad endings like Game of Thrones. They just suck but you can't rezlly do anything about it.
There are shows with a happy endings like Charmed or Izombie. There are not necessarily bad nor sad. There are more or less coherente and they end the serie, that s all.
And then, there are shows with good endings... There are the best kind. They make you cry because they may be heart-broken. But some will stick with you forever.
Merlin has that kind of ending, and so does Kaamelott. I wish I could rewatch those shows for the first time...

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)
At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.
Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

"why should I get invested in shows if they'll just get canceled" I was deeply invested in Heroes (2006) and it was not canceled, it just got really terrible. I also got really invested in the sandwich I had a few weeks ago despite it only lasting like 15 minutes. You must embrace the ephemeral. You must be willing to love things that may not love you back, that might betray you, or that may die an untimely death. As the great philosopher Mr. Mitchell Lee Hedberg said "I'm not gonna stop doing something because of what happens at the end."

Call of Cthulhu
Tumblr media
Call of Cthulhu is a great mystery detective cult game. This game is so much fun and it is decision based along with quick action so everything you do will affect your game play and you may even have to restart like I did.
There are so many plot twists in this game and its a great story over all. This game is only 8 hours long all together even with the side missions and quests. It is a psychological type horror single player game. This game is out on Xbox, Pc, and Ps4.
The way the story goes, you might think that one thing went one way but it went the complete opposite just like I stated it is decision based so everything can change and your opinion can always effect it.
I have nothing to say except, the game crashed on steam and I had to use the run command with a code in it to let me be able to play it since my system is newer.
The script code is here and works great! Don’t worry you cannot mess up anything if you use it. It will just sit in the shadows if it doesn’t work and you will never notice it which is nice.
This game was fun to beat. It has 4 different endings, a good and a bad on each side. If you finish the game, load back into your save and do the opposite ending to get the two but for the other two there are different ways to get it and the walk through for it is here.
Get the game here on kinguin!
Get the game here on Greenman!
