Trick or treat! 💀

Look what I discovered lurking in a random Discord channel! This was based off of a scene from one of my original works that adapted nicely to SlaDick.

"Heads up," Jason's voice came through the comm, low and clear. "Deathstroke."

It landed like a punch. Tim inhaled sharply, Cass stiffened next to him, and there was a burst of static from Bruce's end.

"Are you sure?" Tim asked, hurriedly flipping through camera feeds to find where Jason was. The crowd at the gala had only increased and there were too many people to sift through. "Maybe it was someone else--"

"How many white-haired guys have you met that have one eye and look like they could bench press a truck?" Jason snapped back. "It's him."

"Dick," Bruce's voice cut sharply through the squabble. "Abort. Get out of there."

Dick's voice came through, light and airy. "A bit too late for that."

And through his comm, echoing distantly, came a low growl. "Hello, little bird." "I'm sorry," Dick said, all patented confusion. "You must have me confused for someone else."

Tim finally found the right camera feed. Dick was cornered against a table, a tall, built man looming over him, keeping him trapped with nothing but sheer presence. Slade Wilson laughed in Dick's face.

"I can recognize those scheming blue eyes anywhere, kid. I don't need to know the name on the fake ID you're sporting. What brings you here?"

"Mark's leaving the room," Jason warned from his lookout post. Bruce cursed vividly.

"A mark," Wilson repeated, interested. "So you are running a con."

"He can--" Tim cut himself off and turned towards Cass. He can hear us?! he mimed frantically.

Super soldier, Cass signed back.

"And what are you doing here?" Dick snapped back, giving up on the lie. "Whose bounty will you be collecting tonight?"

"Maybe its yours." On the screen, Wilson reached out and grabbed Dick's jaw, keeping him firmly in place. Bruce and Jason both growled. "Can't fly from me forever, little bird."

Instead of leaning away, or maybe kicking Wilson in the balls to get some space, Dick leaned closer, face-to-face with one of the deadliest mercenaries in the world. "As long as I make the chase entertaining, hm?" Dick murmured, voice low and breathy, and god, Tim did not need to hear Dick's bedroom voice directed at Deathstroke the fucking Terminator.

But it worked. Wilson laughed and let Dick go, stepping back. "Always a delight, kid. Now go find your mark. I have a date and I wouldn't want to be late."

(So I'm going to assume this is for Ranger Green since its the only character I have ready yet, do correct me if I am wrong) Ranger Green- 69: Are you good? I.. I'm sorry do you mean this in like the metaphorical way? Cause I would like to hope so in that case. I mean I am one of the good guys...I think. I think we're the good guys. I know i am at least.

If you mean am I doing alright uhm....to be honest my ribs hurt, and my team mate ignored my injury again, and one of the villains had some rude questions for me last time they got me...uhm...alone. but mostly. I'm mostly good, I swear.

70. Do you think you deserve this? I mean of course. It's just...part of the job y'know? Occupational hazard of being a hero. Sometimes you get hurt. That's the price we pay to keep people safe. And yah sometimes that means the villain gets a hold of you longer then you'd like, and sometimes they try really hard to get you to tell them things. I normally don't tell them anything. But yah of course I do. course I do. It's just part of the job...isn't it?

03 😅 It was the first iteration I saw, and I really connected with Leo. The show honestly became my happy place as a child. I still adore it.

#uh just a heads up if you expand the tags to see all there's. a lot. very long #amphibian #frog #poison dart frog #based on my most popular frog to date (day 651) #inspired by everyone pointing out what they think it looks like #here's a fun secret fact the original guy is actually a phantasmal poison dart frog (Epipedobates tricolor) #(according to the original artists title of the drawing) #not Anthony's poison arrow frog (Epipedobates anthonyi) #i feel too awkward to really point it out though because they look the exact same. i cannot tell if there is a difference #im half convinced the same frog was just discovered and named twice #its very curious btw if you go on the (english) wikipedia page for either species it doesn't mention the other #while hereptiles.info (no idea if this is a trustworthy site) lists both names as common names for the same frog (incorrectly??) #while inaturalist lists them as two different frogs. curiously with tricolor having wayyyyy fewer photos #ok anyway that's my rant i went on a whole journey trying to figure out if these are the same frog or not and i have no answer #i did some more 'research' and i am more confused. some sources seem to imply they are now considered the same species ( e. tricolor) #i think my conclusion is i am willing to agree the drawing looks more like e. anthonyi. it seems like tricolor is generally less vibrant re #and the white is darker and more green? #i feel like thumblr should stop me from typing more in the tags at this point this is a whole essay #at this point i am failry convinced this is specifically the Santa Isabel frog. isthat the real subspecies or morph or whatever #or just the name pet sites are using to sell it?? #i even found some sources (frog selling websites) refering to it as “Epipedobates Anthonyi 'Santa Isabel' Phantasmal Poison Dart Frog” lol #Anyways if you read this far hi. species are confusing. i am not a frog scientist #the first few tags are like an hour old now i just kept trying to figure it out and adding more tags

I'm currently thinking of Dick getting pregnant with Slades kid and trying to keep the paternity identity a secret from everyone, especially Slade (considering Dick permanently ended their relationship months prior). He's mostly concerned with the baby having white hair like Rose due to Slades serum, which would be a dead giveaway, but imagine his joy and relief when the baby comes out with black hair. Everything is fine and dandy until years later when the kids' hair slowly starts turning white, leading to them having white streaks. The batfamily questioned it at first, assuming it was a genetic deficiency, but reality dawned in silent horror. Luckily, no one said anything, but that didn't stop the press from reporting on it. It isn't until shortly after that Slade catches word of a white-haired Wayne grandchild that his suspicions are alerted, and he decides to make a stop in Bludhaven and give a little bird a visit.

I'm aware that this is a serious fic idea but imagine that first white streak popping up and Dick going like 'this is the perfect moment for that baby Red Hood costume'.

“Blue raspberry, blueberries and Japanese soda sounds pretty good,” Blue nodded, looking at the netherwart in their hand.

“You’d say yes even if it was something awful,” Yellow snorted, “Yellow is almost always lemon and other sour things. I like sour, so sure.”

What's your opinion on the headcanon that Sir Crocodile is colorblind?

i love it!!!! i hc that his alabasta outfit's was Like That because he asked robin if it looked good together and she just lied for fun, now he asks daz who actually respect him!

here a quick comparison made with this!

if he's redblind then he seems to like the yellow&blue combo!

now though that does lead to the unique and insane but hilarious question: was he born colorblind or did the dormant gene get activated after being cisswapped by iva? op world is fascinating. other question: luffy? colorblind or not? further studies needed

I think it'd be easier to list the characters I don't want to be friends with! But if I had to choose, I'd say 03 Splinter, 03 and Rise Casey, Sunita, 03 Rennet, 03 Jhanna, and all the Aprils (I love chaotic women). Every single turtle ever. I'm adopting them as my little siblings and going to mother hen them to death. Okay but also, 03 Leatherhead. I'm cutting myself off here.

18. Did any of their voice actors really stand out to you?

03 Donnie! His voice is so friend shaped?? Idk how to explain it. Thanks, Sam Riegel! Rise Leo, mostly just because I LOVE Ben Schwartz's voice. Big Mama, for obvious reasons.

jd's hair going from green to teal would be a cool 'maturing' thing - as well as darkening post their parents' death. like you get hints of blue to match your mother and then suddenly you have to basically fulfil that role - oop

JD and Clay share a gene where their hair goes through changes the way blond kids' hair does lol
