Hello you lovely people. 💚 I can't believe that there's really 1.5 k of you following me and I feel so honoured and blessed because I got to meet so many wonderful people. Of course, something like that calls for a celebration. The celebration will run until February 5th 2023 because that's my birthday, and I think that's a good date to stop that. Lying in each others arms after having sex, while A finally confesses their feelings, and B falls asleep before they can even hear it.

Tracing your fingers over your lover’s freckles or even connecting them with a pen while they are asleep.

Sitting in silence watching the stars, hands inching closer, until they finally interlace their fingers, smiling to themselves.

Giving your crush your scarf and your gloves in cold weather, because you want to keep them warm.

Waking up to your lover pressed against your back, already awake, but they don’t want to get up just yet.

Coming home to find your lover made a pillow fort, ordered pizza and already got a movie set up for you to watch in that fort.

Going to a family wedding with your best friend, who you introduced as you boy-/girlfriend so that your family doesn’t try to set you up with someone - that means you’ll also share a bed for the night.

Coming home to smoke in the kitchen, because your lover wanted to make a cake for you, but is an absolute disaster in the kitchen.

Teaching your crush how to dance, because they want to know the basics for an event, which ends in lots of body contact, beating hearts, and an invitation to be their date for said event.

Making it through a family dinner or some other event to come home and help each other out of these clothes. Unzipping a dress, unbuttoning a shirt with lots of soft touches and kisses that turn carnal at one point.

You come home drunk from a party, and your partner takes care of you, makes sure you get to bed safe, have enough water, and you tell them that you appreciate it, but there’s this wonderful person, who already has your heart, so you have to behave.

Going for a drive in the middle of the night, because you both can’t sleep, listening to your favourite songs and singing along, trying to be louder than the other one.

Surprising your loved one with recreating your first date, asking them if they remember all of that.

Scars tell the story of where we’ve been, they are a part of us, and you show that to your loved one with kissing all of their scars.

prompt 004 - the offering she deserves. tw: abuse mention, death mention

"it is important to leave open a pathway between yourself and your parent." after chiron's speech about offering something to their parents, it kept ringing in the back of his mind, how was he supposed to offer something to someone he had never met? harley immediatly went down to the stables to watch the horses and pegasai for inspiration, he knew what his mother liked, he had done so much research on her when he first arrived, he just had to find a way to make an offering that was along his wavelength. inspiration hit when he was petting one of the horses heads, he jogged backto his cabin and started preparing what he had to do for his offering, he'd spent the entire night in his cabin preparing his offerings, he missed lunch and dinner, he had been way too focused on this. by the time he finishes and leaves to go to the temple, it was pitch black outside and there was no one around, he had no idea what time it was, he just knew he needed to do this before he changed his mind.

when he enters the temple, it's mostly empty, maybe one of demigod making an offering to their godly parent, he waits until they've left before he decides to go to hera. harley had waited until it was the quietest before he came to make his own offering, he didn't want judging eyes on him. the brunette slowly approached his mothers statue, the only sound in the temple was the sound of his footsteps on the marble floor. once he arrived before hera, he sank down to his knees in front of his large, imposing statue, he felt so small and inadequite beneath the queen of gods statue. harley laid a beautiful basket of fruit and wine beneath his mothers alter, the basket decorated in beautiful peacock feathers and two beautiful handpainted gold roses on either side of the basket. tucked into the back of the basket of fruit was a letter he had handwritten himself for hera, he had no idea if she was even going to read it, but he wanted to find a way to talk to his mother without his fellow demi-gods hearing.

hey mum, or hera, i guess, or queeni don't know what you want me to call you. but lets go with hera for now. to be safe.

i know you like poems and songs written about you and this isn't one. i hope this letter is just as good. i'm not really a great writer, or the best at getting my emotions out. so forgive me for that, but it is pure and from the heart and i think that's what matters, right?

i hope i've done you proud so far and not embarassed you too much. i'm trying, i really am. i know i wasn't the most faithful or dedicated son when i came here, i just didn't know how to be faithful to a mother who was never there for me, or help me when my own father was beating the crap out of me on the daily and belittle me. or when he killed my earthly mother and tried to kill me, or when my sister hated me and was blaming me for her death? where were you then? i sure could have used your motherly love then. so please tell me how was i supposed to to worship and praise someone who let me go through all of that alone?

i had so much anger that you didn't show up for me, or help me. i still do, i guess. but i'm trying, i really am, but this is so hard, this is whole thing is a shock to the system, i'm learning. just give me time. but i did want to say thank you, thank you for choosing me to be your son, your heir, thank you for giving me my gifts. i hope i continue to do you proud and hope one day to be worthy of being your spawn and get to meet you.

had his letter turned out a little angrier than he had meant it to? maybe, he hadn't realised how much anger he had for hera, but could he really be blamed? how was he supposed to feel when his mother the goddess of family refused to be a mother to him and let him go through so much pain for so long? the young godling eyes flicked up to look at her statue, his own bright blue eyes finding his mothers own stone ones, searching for something there, searching for her. he couldn't help but think he was betraying his earthly mother by being here and doing this, it was one of the many reasons he was having such a hard time communicating with hera.

"i praise you bright and noble hera, great lady of olympus, gracious queen of the deathless gods, dark-eyed goddess, fairest of the children of rhea, graceful and comely, cloaked in the starry skies, garlanded in poppies fragrant and blood-red, crowned in brightest gold, the lotus wand in your hand, your form ever draped in the finest of silks, majestic one whose blessing is sought by all, whose gifts are treasured, whose favor is a surety of good fortune. accept my offerings."

after a few moments of bowing his head in prayer the his godly mother, harley pulled himself to his feet, giving the queens statue one final glance, before he wastaking a step back away from the statue, just waiting. waiting for a sign to know if hera was there. he didn't know if the goddess was even going to accept his offering or was going to strike him down where he stood in anger at his words in his letter, but she wanted a offering and this was what she was going to get. take it or leave it.
