I have a lil bit of a platform outside of Tumblr, and I am considering creating a Hannibal podcast where the concept is that I get a couple of willing victims volunteers who have never seen the show before, to watch it.
Then we discuss the show, one episode at a time. I'll provide talking points, ask them questions, give them bonus script details, etc. to encourage silly but also analytical chat about the show and its themes, with their virgin eyes to my hyperfixated passion at the helm.
All participants will likely be queer, as my main work is focused on LGBTQ+ (especially trans) and intersectional activism.
Is this something you would be interested in listening to?

🧾Will Graham Check-In🧾... How's our boy Will doing this episode? ...Err, maybe just forget we asked. In this week's episode of Just The Fake Ones Podcast, we dig into some of Will's "poetry" in S1E4 of Hannibal. Here's his first "poem" that opens the episode:
"Sometimes, at night I leave the lights on in my little house. And... Walk across the flat fields. But when I look back from a distance, the house is like a boat on the sea. It's really the only time I feel safe."
Here's some trivia! This actually comes verbatim from Thomas Harris’s introduction to the 2000 edition of Red Dragon. Harris describes doing the same thing while conceiving the early chapters of the novel, leading to the conception of Hannibal Lecter. Notably, Harris says he was surrounded by stray dogs that he fed.
