Happy IU Day, everyone!
Happy birthday to the best girl, Ji-eun!
btw, here’s a semi-useless fact; we were both born on the “16th″ lol. Truth be told, I am more excited about her birthday than my very own birthday (because I don’t really celebrate)
Thank you for being my will to live.
Thank you for saving me — my life.
Thank you for being born. (If you know, you know)
artcard from IU’s official pages.

PT.2 Lee Heeseung X AFAB reader (Holding on and Letting go)
To read click-> part 1
Pairing: Lee Heeseung X AFAB reader
Genre: Angst / Pain / Fluff
Warning: mentions of cheating, abortion, depression
Summary: It's been 7 years since the couple saw each other, and as the 10-year mark hits, the two find themselves conflicted about whether to search for their buried chest or not.
Word Count : 2.080 words
Tumblr media
The alarm rang, and finally, the day had come.
It had been exactly 7 years since Y/n had seen Heeseung. And today, it hit the 10-year mark since the two buried a wooden chest in the trail they used to hike.
Y/n picked up her phone as a sudden alarm rang, her thoughts finally comprehending the meaning of it as a photo of her and Heeseung lit up alongside the alarm.
'Has it really, been this long?' she wondered, a bitter smile on her face as she unlocked her phone.
Calling Heeseung was something out of the table, as she had decided to cut all ties with the male the same day she decided to end things and kick him out of the apartment.
It was the hardest thing she had ever had to do, yet she couldn't bring herself to hate him, as she still longed for him.
Despite all the pain he had caused her, she couldn't ignore the fact that her happiest had been by his side, as the two had grown into adulthood together.
But now, 32, she's single and hasn't met anyone whom she wanted to get together with.
Her dating life was dry, and yet she was happy as she couldn't seem to find anyone that fit her standards, maybe because her standards were him... Lee Heeseung.
On the other hand, Heeseung had married Ji Eun, 4 years ago as she had gotten pregnant. The two played the roles of a happy loving family to the outside world, ignoring their problems and rather fighting with one another in their spare time at home.
The two were happy for a while, Heeseung felt it, the excitement whenever he saw Ji Eun after a long day, and how much she suddenly fascinated him, maybe because he always knew her, but he was comfortable.
He liked when she left him alone, or when she offered to take care of things for him.
That feeling disappeared rather quickly, and he was soon tired of it.
How she always messed up his schedule, how she fooled around with his phone, and then suddenly his photos, texts, and alarms were gone.
He started to miss her. But he had made his choice and now, he was taking responsibility for it.
"Ji Eun" he called out to his girlfriend.
"Yes? What is it?" she asked confused, her eyes lifted from her lap to his eyes, his phone in her hands.
"What are you doing?" he interrogated her, eyes glaring at her hands.
"I was checking your schedule... I need to go to the doctor, I want you to come with me" she explained.
"The doctors? Why? Are you alright?" his tone shifted, he was now worried.
"I think I had an abortion," she says lightly, tone barely a whisper.
That was when it hit him, he could not leave her, not now.
Whatever remains of emotions for Y/n he had, had to be removed.
From there on forward, Heeseung ignored everything that could've led him to think of her, his first love. Because it was too painful. Because it was hateful. And most of all, because he couldn't cause Ji Eun the same pain the two had caused her.
But the reality of the situation settled when it came time for the doctor's appointment, something in him changed as he heard the beat of his baby, he now wanted more than anything to start a family, maybe it was his selfish ambition, he hoped for a baby boy, just like you did, yet he wanted a girl with your face, with your little cute acts and with every single trait of yours, including your stubbornness.
He imagined you, everyday.
And when the doctor relieved them with the news that the baby was fine, his feelings grew bigger for the you who left him.
His every thought of forgetting you was long gone by now, he started a list of names for the baby, each and every name was the one the two of you had mentioned with one another when considering a life with each other.
All of this didn't go unnoticed by Ji Eun, who only grew more suspicious when she started to notice Heeseung tear up whenever the two went over names and what they wanted to do with the child.
His hand caressing her stomach, and how he'd mumble things to the baby.
But worst of it all was when sleep came... Ji Eun dreaded falling asleep because she knew, that the second Heeseung fell asleep, his dreams would all call for you.
"Y/n... don't leave me" he sobbed silently, his hand clutching onto Ji Eun's who watched him with clenched teeth.
She had become the 2nd woman, in her head, she had always been his second choice, but she was sure that after the pregnancy his full attention would be on her, she was wrong.
"You still can't forget that woman... even when I'm like this" the woman scoffed, ripping away her hand from the man's tight grip.
Even when the two were younger, Heeseung never once looked away from you for a second, Ji Eun knew it, she watched over you two as your feelings for each other grew into those of love.
She knew he wouldn't look at her in any way other than a best friend. At the end of the day, that's what the two had always been, friends since diapers... yet she wanted more, and you were in the way of that.
In the morning everything was back to normal, Heeseung would cuddle and shower his wife with sweet words and acts, lovingly caressing her and kissing her stomach. Ji Eun would play along, happy that at least his awake self showed her love, inside too tired to even fight the anger.
Despite it all, Ji Eun couldn't divorce him, it was painful for her to suffer in silence, but it would be ten times worse if she divorced him and he went back to the ex, because then, what would that make her? The second choice after all.
She had to be his first choice.
And now, she had made it her mission to erase every single trace of you from their lives. Starting with the chest that the two of you had buried when you were 22.
Ji Eun began by deleting the memo from Heeseung's phone, preventing him from remembering the date.
And Then she waited, for the day to arrive so that her plan could be put into action.
Tumblr media
It was the 10th of September of 2023 when the 10-year mark hit, Y/n's phone rang exactly at 9:32 am.
It all had a meaning, Heeseung had shown up at her house for a University project, the thing is, instead of the usual.
"Hi, Y/n, how are you?"- the girl opened the door to be greeted with "Hi, Y/n, I like you"
Funny enough, they began dating that same day, and on their 1-year mark, they buried their chest filled with memories of that year and a few letters to one another to celebrate their 10th-year mark which they were sure they would hit.
But when her alarm rang, Y/n wasn't happy, if anything she felt her throat close, she didn't want Heeseung to contact her and tell her about how happy he was with his new life, yet, she couldn't help but want to hear his voice, and see his face, one last time.
By 5 pm you decided to head out of your apartment, a map in your hand and a compass in the other, ready to find the memory capsule, unburry it, and get it all over with.
Lucky for her the terrain where it was buried was empty without a soul in sight and it didn't take long for her to find the big oak tree that gave shade to their spot.
Tumblr media
At home, Heeseung rested one arm over his eyes, covering his face from the bright ceiling light, his friends to the side, mumbling incoherent words.
"But, I don't think he remembers, like at all," Jake said, Heeseung's ears perking to somewhat hear better.
"I don't think we should remind him, though" Jay replied.
"She probably already dug it out, it's been 9 years" Jungwon quickly ushered the boys as if sensing Heeseung's sudden awake state.
"What has been 9 years?" he finally asked, not being able to avoid his curiousness.
The air got tense, Heeseung finally removed his arm from his eyes, lifting his neck to look at the 3 men who stared back wide eyes.
"What is it? Why are you all being weird?" He continued.
"It's been 9 years Heeseung, do you not remember? Did you delete the alarm?" Jake asked confused.
"What 9 years. Blurt it out so it makes sense" he huffed in annoyance.
"You don't know?" Jungwon looked at him in disbelief, the older male shook his head once more confused.
"The memory capsule, dude. You and Y/n started dating 10 years ago, you buried a capsule 9 years ago today" Jay finally told him.
His eyes grew big, his hand suddenly raising as he looked at his watch, 7 pm in bold, yet no notifications.
"I didn't - I didn't delete it. I don't know how it -..." his voice grew quiet, mouth shutting slowly as he recalled his phone in his wife's hand... It all made sense.
"It was her, wasn't it?" Jake asked, he didn't need to hear his answer, his face said it all, the betrayal.
"I have to go" he stood up in a hurry, grabbing his coat from the sofa and leaving the studio towards the place he hoped to find you.
Once he got there, his eyes looked around, his body following in rapid movements until he noticed you sitting under the tree just like you used to.
He couldn't help but break out into a smile as he looked at your form going over the things inside the capsule one by one.
Step by step, he got closer, his hand reaching out, almost touching your shoulder, waiting to feel your warm skin.
"Y/n" his voice, barely over a whisper, called out your name, your eyes lifting to look into his, shock obvious in your expression, despite the nervous feeling in your stomach.
He had changed, then again, so had you. You weren't the immature and naive 22-year-olds you were back then.
His hair was longer, still black and he carried himself as a high up celebrity, which he had become.
Dressed in a suit, you could tell he had either been at work, or doing work of some sort, it made you curious to how he had been...
What happened after the two of you split, did he miss you? Was he with her still? Did he marry her... or was he like you, alone... hoping that the other would come back one day begging for one more chance.
You would never admit it aloud... but you missed seeing him, and now that he stood in front of you, you couldn't help but feel hopeless.
"What are you doing here?" You asked.
"I'm... I'm here for you, us! The capsule!" He corrected, his hand shaking as he pointed at the capsule in your hand.
"I'm late again... I'm sorry" He sighed, head lowering as he stared down at the floor, holding back the tears that began brimming in his eyes.
"It's okay... You're here now" you tried to console him.
"Can I sit here...with you?" He asks, hands rubbing against one another, a nervous tick he had, you held back your smile, nodding at him to which he smiled, his eyes shining as he hurried to your side to sit and open the memories of you two together.
Maybe, just maybe he could be happy for a while, and relive it all once more with his one that got away.

2022 in kdramas
*that I finished
I spent my January nursing all that The Red Sleeve broke (my heart), nourishing what it gave me (provocation to write, notes here), cursing what it did for my overall k-drama viewing expectations. I am still mad that Lee Se-young wasn’t recognised for what she did in TRS, a show that belongs to Deok-im and her alone. I had finished Good Manager a day before, a long-winded bromance between Namkoong Min and Lee Jun-ho. I didn’t think much and truth be told, I don’t remember much either. Happiness fell flat after three episodes; stayed for the remaining episodes because of the excellent chemistry between the main characters. I evidently watched Coffee Prince many years too late but I saw every reason why I might have never finished school if I had seen it earlier.
Run On kept me thrilled on occasion, became white noise otherwise. I loved seeing my two joys, running and translation, woven into the show, loved the miracle of found friendships and homes, and a defiant writing philosophy that healthy relationships are worthy of being probed. Despite how unbearable Our Beloved Summer was about Ji-woong’s unrequited love, I could see the good-naturedness of the story writer-nim was trying to tell. I loved watching why the two leads fell apart and what brought them together. I loved that this had something to do with communication but I loved even more, that it just had to do with having grown up and realising you can love something you’re not and that’s one way to experience life. Kairos is the most underappreciated show that tackles time-travel. Great writing with exceptional attention to detail.
February was spent with the duology of the Ahn Pan-seok—Kim Eun—Jung Hae-in universe, the k-drama equivalent of Austenian bliss. Both shows benefit from Kim Eun’s thesis that romance may be intimate but love, in a patriarchy, demands a public that must accept it. Ahn Pan-seok is the finest orchestrator of moments that feel like the time lapse that falling in love is, that thing that people often reduce to soulmatism or violins at first glance. In One Spring Night, it works. In Something in the Rain, it fails because Kim Eun was still finding her voice as a writer who is stumped by what makes for the ‘right’ kind of conflicts in a 16-episode arc. I don’t think that’s the only problem with SITR but it’s the one she solved with marvelous elegance in OSN. In both shows, the main leads are charmingly, refreshingly communicative with each other. But it is in OSN, where Kim Eun figures out that being vulnerable is not the same as talking about vulnerable things, and how to make it count for all relationships that matter. Son Ye-jin and Han Ji-min, I love you both equally.
In March, I began paying an honorarium to the guard of my Jang Hyuk horny jail. Deep-rooted Tree made me cry in at least 14/24 episodes. A Joseon murder mystery wrapped in a drama about accessible language as the beginning to breaking down class barriers and nation-building, with nerdy love for character interiority? I ate that up. Han Seok-kyu is the only reel King Sejong ever. Just like Jang Hyuk is the only reel Bang Won ever. My Country: The New Age is a shallow show with hilarously lofty dialogues and masterful action sequences. In my most generous reading, MCTNA attempted to ask if Bang Won’s modernity could have come at a lesser price; is modernity not equivalent to audacity? Woo Do-hwan is almost as good at portraying audacity as Jang Hyuk.
Having Park Eun-bin and Kim Min-jae play Brahms in a riveting duet is exactly what Do You Like Brahms? set out to do. Introverts are rarely done well on the screen and getting it right with not one, but two leads is an achievement too. If you are a person fuelled by that mystical "passion," the creative arts industry can be a cruel place. Chae Song-ah is, by all accounts, not as talented as the others around her, and this is not a story of stick-with-it-till-you-rise-from-the-ashes. Even the hope that it might be is wonderful writing because Song-ah is far more assertive than anybody gives her credit for, like a baby who holds onto your finger with shocking strength. In classical music especially, there is no such thing: you are good or you are out. Park Joon-young is great and yet, he is begging for an out, because being good is just the beginning. These two and the other characters are deeply in love with music and they want to protect that love. They all find out that in the end that love needs sustenance, not protection.
I binged Fated to Love You in April, in a private experiment to see how much Jang Hyuk brainrot I can take. (Let’s remember this is a summary of the shows I finished.) I came out of it with brainrot for one more Jang. Outrageous show, outrageous star power. Soundtrack No. 1 was a forgettable experience save for the fact that I am now a person who looks up Park Hyung-sik’s MDL page on the reg. I think everybody is right about Twenty-Five Twenty-One: (a) Baek Ye-jin and Na Hee-do were always going to break up (b) It was a terribly-conceived finale. Two other opinions I am going to leave here: (c) Ji Seung-wan, darling of my heart, should have been the lead for the show that writer-nim actually wanted to do. (d) More people would see this, and also may have responded with thoughts beyond ship discourse, if Na Hee-do was played by anyone other than Kim Tae-ri.
I think people were right about criticising Lee Soo-yeon’s Grid too. The science of time-travel took some leniency. I get why the finale would have been unsatisfying, even as a setup for a potential second season. But I offer that the thesis of LSY’s shows is never in how they end, because they are not moral science lessons for the future. Grid’s deeply introspective themes of time-travel and the greater good begins with the the sun, the most reliable force in a human's life, turning against mankind. This immediately takes away a human as ultimate antagonist, when it easily could have been. For LSY, the future is the darkest place with unknowable power and we have the task of paving a path of light towards it. Time-travel is not the science-fiction component with which to imagine our behaviour in an unrecognisable, but possible, place. It’s the fucking fantasy. Even if we got the chance to change the past, we really couldn't. The future is what we have got to change and the present to make the first move. Those dreams of going back, repenting hard enough, flirting with what ifs? Not going to cut it. LSY's meta elegance is in bringing the intensely personal version of this theme in parallel to the big one: divorce. FWIW, she had all these threads tie together by Episode 7. I get why she said Grid is the next iteration of her life's work—an exceptional mind.
Park Min-young could have chemistry with a rock, and thank god, Seo Kang-joon isn’t one. When The Weather Is Fine is the rightest show about life in the countryside. It nails the fine line of a tight-knit community that shows up for you and also, how easily they can be the first source of judgement, as people who know your secrets. Best book club in a k-drama. Very well done pining. Imo is my favourite character and she should publish that novel because “Hey. Who do you think killed my brother-in-law?” is a banger opening line. I first saw Lee Jae-wook in this show.
During the weekends of April and May, there was My Liberation Notes. I watched it like a scheduled therapy session, although I do not think Park Hae-young is aiming for catharsis with her works (despite it seeming like the most common outcome). I didn’t have the word “healing” in my everyday vocabulary so often before k-dramas. It’s a genre of k-drama that is meant to be comforting, to inject slowness into everyday life as an antidote for the ills of modern society. Bullshit. There are multiple wide shots of the Yeom family tending their farms, eating in peace amid the greenery, and they are claustrophobic. It might feel like complaints, and you’re free to think that. But PHY knows, as most people my generation do, finding an escape is actually really easy. That’s not the point. The point is to be less sad about being who you are; to know that who you are is enough to make a living, find love if you want it, make peace with your family. This show is about siblings as the real loves of your lives.
I don’t remember what I was doing in June.
Pachinko is not a k-drama strictly speaking, but let’s do it. I adore Min Jin Lee and I am afraid to admit how emotionally attached I am to the world of Kogonada’s eyes. In MJL's book, the linear structure is meant to make you feel like the history of a family can also be a history of the other themes that consume intellectual space. In the show, there is no such thing as a past, or a history. Nothing is done, nothing is over and under the rug. You see Sun-ja’s and Solomon’s stories at the same time because there's no distance that makes what happened then far enough from what's happening now. For this alone, Pachinko is a superior adaptation. I have a shrine for every woman in this show. Watching Yumi’s Cells 2 has been among the happiest experiences of my TV viewing life. Bloody Heart could have been bloodier. I respected that it reached a conclusion without feeling the need to give a neat answer to its central question of assertive power as driver of both unity and chaos—there’s humility in realising that the answer need not be determined in one generation. Jang Hyuk thirst got me into the show, Kang Hanna’s outstanding face and smarts kept me there. Lee Joon’s Lee Tae nearly made me quit. Park Ji-yeon, muah. I watched the back half of Signal in July. It is no fault of the show that I was zapped out of will to see women being killed. There were two scenes of Kim Hye-soo’s that wrecked me bad, I had to quit watching for couple of days. Thank you to the makers for giving a genre-defining template. (Kairos did do it better.)
Alchemy of Souls was super fun as a weekly watch. Daeho is boring to me as a setting and the plot ventures into territories worthy of critical thought once in a blue moon. But I admire the ambition, and the storytelling does have its moments. Lee Jae-wook is a menace. Inhaled Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung over four days; I enjoyed it. Extraordinary Attorney Woo tried. I also binged Reply 1997. Reply 1988 is always going to be my favourite and I am not going to watch R1994 for a conclusive test of veracity.
Between these shows, their endearing efforts at being fulfilling shows about love of different kinds, I nibbled on episodes of My Mister. I couldn’t watch two episodes together; it was so potent, so unbelievably demanding of my attention in every way imaginable, and I gave it willingly. I wrote about the show here.
October brought the best mystery/thriller show of the year: May It Please The Court. It was written with a clear idea of how much to bite, knew how to chew on it, and that’s why it also landed the best conclusion of the year. The show is astute about forgiveness and justice, and well, forgiveness in justice. I think the show’s success is in how it trusted both its characters and the audience to process what this means to them. Jung Ryeo-won and Lee Kyu-hyung have impeccable married energy from first scene. Lee Sang-hee is the best, the hottest, the finest.
Little Women is the mystery/thriller show with the most potential of the year. It wasn’t until episode 11 that the show lost me but I do think the flaws began revealing themselves a lot earlier. I didn’t appreciate the show’s insistence that the central crime of the show was Sang-ah’s murders and not the patriarchal cult that pretends to be a meritocracy. I thought the Vietnam War references were in conversation for a whole different reason: I viewed it as a nod to the first war where losing means more than winning. That war is the blueprint for the 21st century exertion of control for the right to capital and target audience, rather than mere territory and pride. But this symbolism wasn’t what came through and I understand those who pushed back on how the war's references, along with an exotic flower, rang hollow. LW did get characterisation right, particularly the way poverty alters how intelligence is perceived and valued. It’s ambitious premise—that Louisa May Alcott was wrong in deciding these sisters would taper their poverty with unusual politeness—is radical.
I will rewatch the first 11 episodes of May I Help You in several trying days of my future. Baek Dong-joo and Kim Tae-hee, butlers to the dead and the alive respectively, are companions, friends and lovers, in that order. What's not to love? The acts asked of them are rarely grand but they are delivered with emotional heft. I forgive all the detours taken from episode 12. I tend to find it dull when everybody and everything is connected to each other. In this one's ending, it's quite lovely. I see the vision in saying that we only know Dong-joo’s story because that’s the story we have tuned into. The miracles could be happening to anyone at all. I wish writer-nim wasn’t so Christian throughout—the throwaway line about suicide put me off. Best piggy-backing scenes in a rom-com and also, favourite kiss, I am going to say.

They clearly love their kids)
*Counting her as an orphan even though she gets her parents back after 20 years, she spent her childhood orphaned.
***This character is tricky because I understand why her mother wanted nothing to do with her, but her trying to manipulate the dad and also saying he didn't raise her properly made me so angry. Uncatagorized due to lack of clarity on parents: Soundtrack #1, Hospital Playlist, Happiness

Little Valentine's Day head cannon
Lee Rang has never celebrated Valentine's day before; clueless to the whole holiday, ignoring all the hearts that decorate windows of shops and advertisements for chocolates and cakes. So when he comes home in the afternoon on Valentine's Day he is thrown for a loop. There are streamers of reds and pinks decorating the ceilings, the sweet scent of freshly baked cake comes wafting from the kitchen and there is some soft jazz music playing in the air.
On the coffee table there are heart shaped confetti and at the center sits a vase with pink azaleas.
Eun-ji enters the room so gracefully, wearing a champagne colored dress, nothing fancy just a everyday dress but Rang thinks she looks exquisite in it. Her eyes stop on him. In surprise, obviously thinking she wouldn't see him for a few more hours. "Welcome home Rang." She greets him happily. "Happy Valentine's Day."
She almost skips over to him, wraps her arms around him and kisses him softly. She sits him at the couch and tells him to relax when she pours them some drinks.
He questions why azaleas and her response makes his heart beat faster. 'They seem like a flower you would appreciate more instead of roses.'
Once she's out of the room he calls Yuri quickly, asking for her to help with the situation. He had nothing prepared and felt guilty. The vixen laughed gently and told him that you didn't need any gifts but just needed to know he cares too.
Rang waited patiently for Eun-ji to return with the glasses of wine. He thanked her for everything and placed an order for dinner to be delivered for them. They enjoyed the time together just talking and sitting on the couch. Rang answered the door for when dinner arrived and helped clean up after.
They ate cake together and watched a movie on the couch, his hand never left her skin the whole time and once the credits started to roll his mouth was on hers. Their tongues tangled languidly as he led her to lay back, his body over hers. He moved down, kissing her skin, whispering praises and pouring his emotions into everything.
To say the night was long was an understatement, by the time the sun was rising - they had visited almost every room in the house, leaving behind evidence of their love making. The last place they reached wad the bed where Rang watched her sleeping before he slowly drifted to join her.

231128 "VIXX" Leo & Ken, "I'm not scared when I'm with the members". Friendship shining in "Music Square" | wowkorea.jp
Group VIXX members Leo and Ken have made a comeback.
VIXX latest news summary
VIXX's Ken and Leo appeared as guests on KBS Cool FM's ``Lee Eun Ji's Song Plaza'' that aired on the 28th.
Leo said, ``I ate one meal a day for eight years and also exercised.''
In response, Ken responded, "You were amazing. you boxed, choreographing, danced and did musicals. I am hungry after taking care of my meals. That's why I can't manage it well. "I ate chicken feet early yesterday morning and I like sweets."
VIXX has released their 5th mini album CONTINUUM''. Ken said,I wore a lot of accessories that I've never done before. I also wore odd-eyed lenses. "I couldn't dye my hair because I was in a musical, so I put on a piece."
Leo said, ``We are the first idols to wear colored lenses. We tried not to put them on because the broadcasting station gave us too much of an impression. This time, I made my makeup look like hangover makeup. I was more concerned about the visual aspects than the concept."
Ken said that the choreography of covering his eyes was good, saying, ``It was the bridge part. I didn't have to do the blindfold gesture with my seniors. However, I got greedy. So I told my brother. Please,'' he said. Leo said, "I'm not happy about it," eliciting laughter.
Ken scratched his eyebrows and said, ``They grow out a little bit. As they grow out, they return to their original state. It's a wonder every time I see them.''
Regarding the difference between musicals and music activities, Ken also said, ``There's a process of working together with the members to create an album, but in musicals, when you're the main character, it feels like a burden. There are times when you have to lead. There are times when you have to pull together, but that part is difficult and different."
In response, Leo said, ``When you're doing solo activities, there's nowhere to hide, whether it's musicals, plays, or the media. When you're with the members, there's a place to hide.If you're standing together, you're not scared. When you're standing alone, it's scary. It seems like standing alone can be scary."

TPOL!JK
when you wake the next day, you’re naked from head to toe and jungkook is missing on his side of the bed. you stretch your limbs and throw on a shirt from jungkook’s drawer and head to look for him but all you find is a table full of food, fruit, and a dog?
yes, a cute doberman puppy that you don’t exactly remember jungkook getting but the puppy is sitting in its cage eating and drinking from his bowl. jungkook never told you about a dog and you wonder if he bought the dog after you left or just now.
you open the dogs cage and he shyly comes out of his cage and into your arms. “hi~” you coo when he starts sniffing your hands and you read his collar that says “bam” and you’re sure jungkook bought him after you left because there’s no way you’d name him that. “you look more like a cookie than a bam but you’re still adorable” you say. “wanna come and eat with me?” you ask while carrying the small dog to the table to eat with you.
when you finish eating, you grab your phone and find a note right next to it reading:
“hi princess, sorry i couldn’t be there with you this morning. i had to go fire a couple of people today but there’s a table full of breakfast and a surprise for you too. i love you, princess. be good in school and i’ll be back home soon”
you smile reading the note and laugh at the “i had to fire a couple of people today” because you’re aware of his scary reputation at the office. granted, you’ve never been up to the place he works but since you’ve no classes today, you decide to freshen up and throw a cute outfit together.
you decide to wear a cute plaid print matching skirt and open jacket set with platform shoes and gold jewelry, even the birthstone necklace. your hair is in a high ponytail and when you give yourself a 360 in the mirror, you look cute. “what do you think, bam?” you ask and the puppy just oogles you. “i’m taking that as i look cute. c’mon, let’s go make your papa some lunch”
so here you are outside of the large building with jungkook’s last name plastered on the outside. you have jungkook’s lunch in one hand and bam in the other because you didn’t want to leave the adorable pup by himself. “thank you” you tell the chauffeur before heading inside the building and all eyes seemed to be on you.
the people dressed in a fancy fashion. women wore blazers, skirts, and heels while the men wore suits and ties with their hair styled neatly. you kind of felt out of place with your bright colored plaid outfit but you press on. “hello” you say to the receptionist and she speaks back with a happy tone.
“what can i do for you today?”
“i’m here to deliver something to jeon jungkook. is he here today?”
“oh, do you have a meeting?”
“yes? uh, yes. yes i do”
“okay. he’s on the 20th floor but we don’t allow pets in the building”
“it’s his dog. i’m sure he’ll allow it just this once”
“you know what? sure. go on ahead with his dog”
“okay. thanks!”
“just make sure you check in with his receptionist!”
and while you happily prance towards the elevators, the receptionists are just laughing at you because there’s no way their cold boss owns a dog and would even allow you to step one fit in his office with one. it’s obvious that you’re lying about meeting with him so they’re sure when jungkook hears about some girl with a dog asking for a meeting, he’ll embarrass you in front of everyone.
they phone in jungkook’s PA and tell her about you and by the end, she’s laughing too. she even agrees to be “extra loud” to draw jungkook out of his office and watch him deal with you instead. it’s about time jungkook fusses at someone else for a change and that “someone” is going to be you.
you ride up to the 30th floor and you’re in awe with the amount of people that dress alike and look at you with a weird look. some are even giggling at you and you’re a little nervous. you walk up to a lady who is very pretty and her desk tag reads “lee ji-eun; personal assistant”
“um, hi. i would like to speak to mr. jeon”
“do you have a scheduled meeting?”
“yes”
“name please?”
“uh…kim y/n”
“hmmm…no. i don’t see a kim y/n”
“can’t you just phone him in? he knows me”
“ma’am, dogs and any pet is not allowed on the premises. i don’t know which part of town you came from but you don’t make the rules around here. SECURITY!!!”
“hey! wait!! I’M HIS GIRLFRIEND!!”
the guards begin to escort you to the elevator and laugh at the accusation of you being jungkook’s girlfriend but eventually jungkook does come from his office and says…
WHAT IS THIS COMMOTION GOING ON?” Jungkook rubs his temples as he comes out of his office, because the noise was getting too much.
And then he looks ahead to see you being escorted by the guards, towards the elevator, while you’re screaming and he realizes that you’re here with his dog. “Y-Yn? Princess!” he calls out your name.
Everyone gasps, they are all surprised that he knows you.
“HANDS OFF HER!” he commands as he runs towards you He clenches his jaw in anger as he realizes that you’ve been treated so bad here. He grabs you while he glares at the guards.
“What the fuck is wrong with you people!?! WHY WASN’T I INFORMED THAT SHE WAS HERE?!” He is screaming right now, veins popping out. “ HOW DARE YOU TRY TO ESCORT HER OUT OF THE OFFICE LIKE THIS?! YOU ARE FIRED!” He doesn’t waste the opportunity to fire the security guards.
Everyone is dead silent right now. He glares at everyone present. “I NEED ANSWERS.” he is pretty sure that his screaming is scaring his dog but he cannot help it right now
He pulled you closer to his chest, in a protective manner. “Princess are you okay?” He coos at you, his eyes immediately soften when they set on you. “It’s okay I’m sorry I didn’t know that you were here because If I did, I would’ve never let this happen to you..”
“AND YOU. JIEUN. Why wasn’t I informed that she was here? HOW DARE YOU ASK THE SECURITY TO THROW HER OUT DIDN’T SHE TELL YOU THAT SHE WAS MY GIRLFRIEND?”

My favourite female singers
I've never ever had any favourite female singer. It was always just like there were some random well performed songs that I liked, but I never had a desire to listen to those artists purposefully. Something has always been missing... Carmen Soliman became my very first and the only one up until now favourite female singer since her debute and a winning in the first season of Arab Idol in 2012 at the age of 17.
So, I recently set a goal for myself to find at least one female singer whose voice and art I would totally love...
...This beautiful song is one of Carmen's recents
•───────•°•❀•°•───────•
And a couple of months ago I was more than happy to discover even two female singers who fit my criteria a 100%. And they are...- Lee Ji-eun aka IU (South Korea) and "Yoasobi" (Japan) - a brilliant J-Pop duo of Ayase (composer) and Lilas Ikuta (vocalist). Both IU and Ikuta have exactly what I've always been looking for - melodious, sublime, refined vocals! Did I mention that I love all their songs as well?:) Really, I can't think of a single one which I would dislike in some way or other.
youtube
•───────•°•❀•°•───────•
Yoasobi's musical style is truly unique..! Their music is melodically rich, flowing like a crystal water in a spring brook carrying you away to the higher realms of your imagination where you feel so light and happy!

image is from uniqlo.com ...
I'm so much in love with Yoasobi ! I simply cannot stop listening to their captivating music and her sweet voice. And I can't imagine that I might get tired of it one day... no way! It's totally my thing! :)
youtube
Well, I hope I could help you with this post if, these days, you too are searching for music that would melt your soul. For me, these artists are exactly like that!
And, if you want more, here are the links to my youtube playlists I created for these singers: IU ✿ Yoasobi ✿ Carmen Soliman - albums, songs, video clips, all is there!
