as we know sylveon is a trans, particularly transfem, icon. this is presumably because eevee are predominantly male, meaning a trans sylveon would be more likely to be transfem.

now, I bring you: transmasc icon hatterene, because all of the hatenna line are female and therefore, if trans, would be transmasc (or nonbinary but I’m sure there’s another Pokémon that’s enby colored). also I’m transmasc and I love hatterene. I rest my case

Any headcanons for the Hatenna line?

They're considered hard Pokemon to train due to their sensitivity—they're mostly caught by trainers with a lot of experience.

While two separate species, they frequently interbreed with the Impidimp line.

They're also considered to have a mutualistic relationship with the. Impidimp line. The line eat emotions that bother the Hatenna line, so the Impidimp gets fed and the Hatenna isn't bothered by unwanted emotions.

Because they are sensitive to emotions, the line tends to prefer staying in their Pokeballs and only coming out for short periods of time.

The line is popular with fashion icons due to their hair and hats. Them being hard to train only makes them more popular as a status symbol.

The tentacle on Hatterene's head is prehensile and used to grab prey. It can move at lightning-fast speeds.

Some old Galarian myths involve Hatterene that shapeshift into human woman during the daytime to lay curses on people.

Hattrem have a habit of attacking people who emote too much. This only causes people to emote more from pain, creating a cyclical effect.

The line's sensitivity makes them popular amongst both psychics (no overwhelming thoughts or emotions) and less emotive neurodivergent people.

The line mostly lives in isolation, only joining together with others for short periods of time.

About us...

Starting with the basics... We're three brazilian young adults and we all love pokemon We're also a T4T polycule and been together for around a year at this point(and we're not looking for romantic relationships here), we all have some background with the agere community and agree that we prefer to not be a part of any specific community and just treat regression as an individual thing (non-community)

I'm Leaf! I'm 21 and go by they/them. I'm a caregiver and care for both my partners whom I love very much <3. That aside, I'm a leafeon therian and sometimes I pet regress to a fox or cat Even though I'm not an age regressor I still deal with a fair amount of anxiety, OCD, dissociation and I'm neurodivergent Currently majoring pedadogy and I dream of working as a educator or school counselor, I have a fair amount of knowledge on sociology and neuropsychology as well. I'm also a pokemon fanatic, shiny hunter, and I love everything nintendo (Splatoon and Kirby are my other favorite franchises), roguelike and metroidvania games and TTRPGs. I enjoy collecting stuff and I'm very fond of lizards (snakes included!) My favorite pokemon is leafeon (and hydrapple) and I'd be a grass type trainer/gym leader

I'm Rosabella, Rosa for short! I'm 20 and my pronouns are she/they/fae I'm a flip, that is, sometimes I'm my partner Blu's caregiver and sometimes my other partner Leaf is my caregiver! My little age is around 4-8, I started regressing recently and so far I love the idea of getting to live the ideal childhood I've never had. I'm a puppy regressor too, a pomski to be more specific I'm a DID system and switch between using we/us and I/me, I'm also autistic+ADHD and HoH. Because of that I'm very invested in disabled and Deaf/HoH rights activism I love pokémon (duh) Scarlet/Violet have been my favorite games so far! I also like Animal Crossing, nostalgic toys, The Owl House, Amphibia, Adventure Time, OTGW, and similar cartoons. And I love anything magical girls!! My favorite pokémon is the hatenna evolution line and I'd be a psychic type gym leader!

I'm Blu, I'm 20 years old and go by he/they and occasionally it/its I'm a regressor and my two primaries act as my caregivers. My regressed age fluctuates from a little toddler to an edgy teen. I also heavily relate to birds, am a bird regressor and a swablu therian(that's where my name came from lol) I have OSDD1a, though I strictly refer to myself as singular person (I/me), I'm also autistic and physically disabled Majoring geography and specializing in meteorology, loooove storm spotting and retro videogames (my partners might disagree on that but I think the best pokemon games are the early ones + spin offs). Be sure that I know and have played the most obscure nintendo and sonic spin-offs My favorite pokemon is obviously swablu/altaria (murkrow is a close second) and I'd be a flying type trainer. That's it.

Pokémon Horizons thought

Since watching Pokémon Horizons, there has been something I've been thinking about since the start of the anime:

Will the main characters' starter Pokémon evolve?

This might contain spoilers for those who aren't that fair in the anime, so reader discretion is advised. And this will be rather long since this has plenty of theorizing and rambling.

For those who are familiar with the anime the Paldean starters are the main focus when it comes to starter Pokémon this season.

Liko has Sprigatito, Roy has Fuecoco, and Dot has Quaxly.

Liko and Roy have used their starters in plenty of battles, and they've even trained with Captain Pikachu. So, with all that battle experience they've been getting you'd think they would evolve soon.

However, I theorize that the show isn't going to evolve the kids' starters. The show might follow the idea of the of the main characters' main/prominent Pokémon not evolving. Which has been done to the following:

Ash's Pikachu (And some of his other Pokémon)

Dawn's Piplup

Chloe's Eevee

Goh's Grookey

Clemet's Chespin

Lillie's Alolan Vulpix

Brock's Crogunk

Serena's Pancham

I imagine they might allow the Pokémon they catch to evolve. Honestly, I mostly see Roy's Wattrel evolving at some point. I don't really mind if Liko's Hatenna doesn't evolve, since I think not evolving will suit it just fine. Maybe I can see it evolve into Hattrem, but I don't really see it evolving into Hatterene.

I can definitely see Dot's Quaxly not evolving, and that actually makes sense why it wouldn't. Dot herself isn't really a battler and doesn't really have much interest in doing so, thus I can see Quaxly not evolving anytime soon. Plus, Quaxly is a prominent figure in Dot's Nidothing videos, acting as her assistant, so I imagine it not evolving for the sake of her Nidothing streaming.

However, I hope this isn't the case. I don't mind if Quaxly never evolves, but I really hope Sprigatito and Fuecoco evolve at some point.

The whole 'main Pokémon not evolving' thing is becoming an overused theme to me. If the Pokémon needs a certain thing in order to evolve, I can understand that and let it slide. But for Pokémon that doesn't and doesn't have an everstone to keep from evolving, that has always frustrated me.

And it may have worked for Ash and Pikachu and a some iconic traveling companions, but this is a new beginning for the anime, no Ash, no companions, a whole new generation. And they don't need to repeat the past, I want to see their Pokémon partners evolve to highlight not just the Pokémon's growth and development, but to highlight Liko and Roy's development as well, to show that their growing along their Pokémon.

And to sort of serve as something for those who grew up watching Pokémon. I know the main protagonist are kids, but that doesn't mean their Pokémon can't grow up, like the fans have.

Plus I want to see Meowscarada and Skeledirge at some point in the show.

So overall, while I theorize the main kids' Pokémon won't evolve, I really hope they do. Like I said, I don't mind of Quaxly doesn't evolve, but I really hope Sprigatito and Fuecoco do.

Wynne is next up in Dragon Age as Trainers. I’m aware she’s meant to be younger than she appears in-game, but I think it’s all so much more enjoyable if you’re actually saving the world with a geriatric hero.

I’ve tried to make her look a bit sickly here, to indicate that her vitality is rapidly depleting as her (alleged) borrowed time runs out (I’m of the opinion much of the strength that she loses is purely lost because she believes that’s how her deal with a spirit works, and of course the entity-whos-abilities-are-enforced-by-belief responds in kind).

I wanted to focus upon a team that suggests a proclivity for Pokemon that can aid in her didactic interests as well as her desire to lend a helping hand and a listening ear to otherwise hapless Circle mages. Wynne may be complacent with the Circle, but she isn’t with the rest of the world and intends to assist in the face of the onslaught of suffering that comes with life, even in a modern setting.

Wynne caught Ponyta when she was young. The creature approached her first when she was off on a field trip to learn healing practices. As an adult, Rapidash has been a constant source of reassurance who’s services run the gamut of calming Wynne in the face of horrific fear that she had been possessed, to acting as a stern and elegant back-up to Wynne’s occasionally simpering and not-tough-enough scolding of students.

Lapras was presented to Wynne after she attained scholarship and employment in the Circle. Transit to the Circle is all well and good, but it sets a proper example for students to see their instructor partnering with a pokemon that is iconic for it’s reliability, grace, and kindness (and compels students to feel both awed and reassured, and willing to visit her offices). Little does the wider campus know that Lapras is a big silly who is skittish around the transit with which he’s meant to be working in tandem. Wynne worries for him. :(

Blissey was recruited from the Tranquil and her liberation is currently the farthest Wynne is able to approach and face the dissonance that she feels towards the practise of Tranquility. Blissey much prefers fieldwork and was noted for being idiosyncratically (and disappointedly) cantankerous as she was saddled with working amidst peers who are themselves suffering and are deliberately disallowed service. If she never returns to the Circle, all the better. Blissey is notably the only one of Wynne’s pokemon that Morrigan has befriended.

Dusknoir is my proxy for the Spirit of Faith that empowers Wynne. I figured a pokemon whose description includes “guiding lost spirits home” would be a sufficient analogue to the multitude of manners of achieving/reaching Faith.

Oranguru is a recent addition to Wynne’s team. She met her in the Brecilian Wild’s during a period when she was not brought along with the main team. She’d read gossip online about a “cryptid” in the Wilds and her curiosity got the better of her. She would never admit to such trviality, but will readily enthuse that the partnership speaks for itself; Oranguru and Wynne adore that they match each others’ wits and thrive by throwing ideas off of each other. Oranguru wishes Wynne was willing to be a bit more cutting and authoritative, but she can’t complain too much when she’s willing to play chess with him whenever she asks.

Hattrem is Wynne’s newest team-member. She was initially caught as a Hatenna that was prone to retreating in the face of others’ suffering/others’ causing suffering rather than allowing its emotions to propel it towards the species’ idiosyncratic prickliness. Wynne attempted to coerce Morrigan into caring for the young pokemon, hoping that Morrigan’s experience with the species might lend it some much-needed support. Morrigan dismissed Hatenna rapidly, regarding it a useless creature whose natural empathy was wasted upon it. Wynne tutted in disapproval and tucked Hatenna beside her. The partnership was fortuitous, as Wynne’s reserved manner and balance of emotions proved reassuring and therapeutic for Hatenna. With Wynne’s gradual (often inadvertent) and gentle exposing of Hatenna to emotions, she was eventually proud and brave enough to boldly speak up to Wynne to retort in the face of her destructive self-doubt and evolved in the process.

Dratini (Faust)

✧ I chose dratini for Faust, mostly because dratini is the snake Pokémon which most resembles her!

✧ Additionally, dratini is known as the mirage Pokémon, and according to the dex, they’ve been thought of as a myth due to their rarity.

✧ A magical, rare Pokémon for a magical, rare boy!

Hatenna

✧ Another magical themed Pokémon, with her little wizard cap and strong psychic powers.

✧ Her hair even resembles Asra!

✧ Hatterene is the calmest of the hatterene line. I couldn’t give Asra a hattrem or heaven forbid a hatterene, because according to the dex,

“No matter who you are, if you bring strong emotions near this Pokémon, it will silence you violently.”

✧ Poor Asra would start pining for mc and hattrem would go beserk.

✧ But that being said, the Pokédex entry for hatenna is much more fitting.

If this Pokémon senses a strong emotion, it will run away as fast as it can. It prefers areas without people.

✧ Just like how Asra has to cope with his intense feeling by fucking off to Nopal every five minutes!

Polteaguist 

✧ Of course, I had to give Asra a tea Pokémon!

✧ I also gave Asra a polteaguist, and Nadia a sinistea to represent their friendship. I can imagine that one gave the other an egg as a gift, which grew into sinistea / polteaguist.

Zorua

✧ Between zorua being a fox, as well as them being the illusion Pokémon, they seem a perfect fit for Asra!

✧ Zorua is known for their shapeshifting ability, using them to pull pranks on humans and Pokémon alike.

Floette

✧ On one hand, Floette is a reference to Asra’s favorite flower, nightshade.

✧ Also, I really wanted him to have at least one fairy type! Why not one of the most iconic fairy types?

✧ On the other… I absolutely had to pick floette, considering the parallels between Asra’s route and the plot to Pokémon X/Y.

✧ MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR BOTH THE ARCANA AND POKÉMON X/Y: In the games, 3,000 years ago, a character named AZ had a Floette as his partner Pokémon. But the Pokémon tragically died. In his grief, he built a machine which harnessed the life energy of Pokémon, to ressurect his friend. You can see how this parallels Asra.

Delphox

✧ Delphox is a fox magician, the Magician is a fox magician, it just works!

Pokeverse NO.3 - Fashion designer. (Galar centered, does not travel)

Summary.

Native of Galar, in this verse, Katsuki Bakugou, is an aspiring, yet successful fashion designer/craftsman, despite his age. He chose to follow the same career as his father do. He is not a trainer nor does he possess the interest in battling. He find other purposes when traveling with his pokemons. Because while he got a job, if not called upon, he spend his time in the wilderness, seeking inspiration and craft things in peace, away from city’s noises.

Team.

OOC: would have used the other team builder but they don’t have the Galar dex yet. And yes, he is a Fairy type expert in this verse.

Headcanons.

Grew up with Hatterene, which back then, was but an Hatenna, therefore their bond is the closest and genuine.

Gardevoir and Alolan Ninetales were handed over, by his parents, after a trip of theirs, in the past. Bakugou was not born when his parents made a trip once to Alola, where his father caught an Alolan Vulpix, then it evolved over time and proper bonding. As for Gardevoir, she’s always been at his mother’s side.

Despite the picture of Alcremie, in the card, her appearance, upon evolution, ended up being the Mint Cream with the Flower Sweet. It took a while for him to obtain one, as it was the only Sweet Bakugou wanted to get his hands on.

Mawile, Ribombee and Alcremie were all caught by him, whereas, the others, were given.

Though that Bakugou doesn’t do battles, it doesn’t mean he can’t use them defensively, for rescues and other situations.

Surprisingly, they are all females, which he got no problem with. 

There is more pokemons at his home but they are not Fairy Type. Even so, he respect all typings, all appearances.

Second to Hatterene, Katsuki is quite close to the Gastrodon, found at his family’s home.

When with business clients or possible meetings, he wear the attire, seen into the icon up above. Otherwise, he wears more casual clothings.

He’s not really an indoor person or bother keeping up with televised media regularly.

Prefer to eat balanced or spicy meals, over sweets or junk food, greasy dishes.

Often craft things when out camping in the wild, so he brought the proper tools for that, in his camping set.
