Prompt : The Mean Girls of Wayne Enterprises
Hear me out…. Mean Girls but make it DCxDP.
The public personas that the bats present, modeled after “Brucie” Wayne are the perfect templates for Mean Girls shenanigans.
Imagine : Our favourite ghost boy has decided to venture out into the world after making sure that Amity would be safe and secure (perks of being the recently crowned King). Danny knows he’d never pass the physical tests to be an astronaut but that doesn’t mean he can’t at least achieve part of his space dream. He’d done his research, very thoroughly at that, and overall it was Wayne Enterprises that came out on top. Their aerospace department was miles ahead of the competition - presumably something to do with Bruce Wayne literally being the one funding the Justice League (and if rumour is to be believed, the OG sugar daddy for a certain Bat).
Disregarding Danny’s personal feelings about the JL, the chance to create technology that will be used in SPACE, for space exploration and understanding was too good to pass up.
Just the thought alone filled him with a sense of contentment. Thankyou space obsession.
Which is what had lead to the current situation - an internship at Wayne Enterprises itself. How he landed it, he has no clue - sure, he’s got some smarts (much more than he’ll give himself credit for) but his grades had suffered from his years of literally saving the city (and by extension, the world). Perhaps it was fate? Or more likely, a meddling time god…
Danny wasn’t complaining though.
Only three hours in to the position and he was barely containing his excitement - literally, the fulfillment of his secondary obsession, regardless of how second hand it might be, created such a buzz in his core. He was having to consciously stop his more ghostly attributes from shining through - not even metaphorically shining, damn you LED freckles (yes we’re using the concept of Danny’s ghost from reflecting his love of space - constellation freckles and all)
Now though, he had been released to break in the cafeteria. There was a panicked moment of ‘oh shit, where do I sit?’ But thankfully, his (half) life was saved by one of his new coworkers calling him over with a friendly wave.
“Hey, Daniel, right?”
“I go by Danny but yeah, thanks for the save there” a awkward laugh at his own words, “didn’t expect it to feel like high school all over again”
There’s polite laughter amongst the table and the conversation flows over to casual small talk. At least, it does until out of nowhere, all eyes jump to the doors.
Enter : The Plastics.
Richard Grayson - the dumbest guy you’ll ever meet.
“Once, he asked me why aster isn’t the opposite of disaster”
Timothy Drake - knows everything about everyone.
“That’s why his eyebags are so big - they’re full of secrets”
And the queen bee, Damian Wayne.
“Once he called me an uncultured swine… it was awesome”
(I don’t know what’s better - Damian aged up to match Danny or tiny Damian being Regina)
What follows is a comedic story: Danny meeting the three, them assuming he’s going to be out of touch being from the Midwest (he is but only in the sense that his version of normal is Fenton dumbfuckery) , him eventually getting past their public personas by just not giving a shit for their drama - he grew up with the QUEEN of mean girls, the Wayne boys have nothing on Paulina Sanchez.
Just, Mean girls Waynes… that’s it - that’s the post.

i am so convinced that mew is just playing top.
hear me out. mew is the type of person who knows more than he lets on, like especially with jo describing mew’s character as “quietly seductive” like we know this. mew mostly likely knows that boston knew top through a hook up, he knows top is a player and he also knows he doesn’t fall for those kinds of men. so by allowing himself to have a relationship with top he allows himself to experience romance without any real chance of heartbreak because he’d never fall for that kind of man.
like i think mew knows about ray’s crush on him but pretends to be oblivious so as to not lose his friend and never give him a chance because ray isn’t exactly the healthiest of people but he would be kind to mew and there is a real possibility of him falling for ray. but top? he has no prior connection to him, hes not particularly kind (unless being kind benefits him in some way) and when it goes south it won’t affect mew at all. and also its great karma for all of top’s past lovers he’s probably fucked over (justice for sand!)
like mew is john tucker must die-ing top and im here for it.

For that Desmond as Jenny’s son au, one day Desmond is going to be stuck on a ship with either Connor or Shay(most likely Connor) sailing and he is going to snap when Haytham starts backseat sailing. He’s going to wait for the perfect moment to just walk up behind Haytham and shove him overboard, then look at whoever’s sailing and say “You won’t believe how long I’ve been waiting to do that.”
Here are the two posts that has the idea of Desmond being reborn as Jennifer Scott’s son:
The original post that also includes a lot more characters showing they’re better than William Miles
The continuation that involves Haytham suffering for our entertainment
Most likely Ratonhnhaké:ton. Haytham didn’t have any problem with Shay’s sailing when he joined him in Rogue so he really just has it out for Ratonhnhaké:ton for some reason.
Desmond would probably go stand by the edge of the starboard and just be quiet for a few seconds. He knows Ratonhnhaké:ton and Haytham would notice him being quiet and it would be Ratonhnhaké:ton who would ask what was wrong.
Desmond would go, “I’m not sure yet. Haytham… can you come here and check something for me?”
And Haytham would walk to his position because he sorta trusts his nephew and he sounded so serious. He’d be surprised when Desmond placed a hand on his back and would momentarily freeze but his focus would be taken by Desmond pointed down, pushing Haytham slightly so they would be leaning down a bit, “Do you see that?”
“What should I be looking at?”
And that’s when Desmond pushes Haytham off the ship, making Haytham shout in surprise as Desmond used all the force he could muster just to make sure Haytham won’t be able to keep his ground. Desmond would rest his elbows and arms on the railings while Ratonhnhaké:ton tried to slow down the ship.
Haytham would be spluttering in indignation as he continued to stay afloat, all the way shouting at Desmond, “What the devils have possessed you?!”
“No possession this time!” Desmond shouted back before grinning, “Been wanting to do that since I heard you backseat sailing the first time.”
“What does backseat sailing even mean?!”
“You better start swimming, Haytham! We’re gonna leave you behind!” Desmond shouted back before walking back to where Ratonhnhaké:ton was staring at him with a slightly confused expression. Knowing what he wanted to ask, Desmond said calmly, “He’ll be fine.”
Ratonhnhaké:ton nodded, trusting Desmond more than Haytham anyway.
“I need a rope!”
“No, you don’t!”
Well…
He trusted Desmond to not kill Haytham yet anyway.

as much as Bad very much does care for the well being of all the eggs, as much as Leo of course cares for her tio, the fact remains that Roier is her closest family and caretaker right now, and he Does Not Trust Bad. not with the time of day, not with the location of Pepito’s room, certainly not with Leo. and it’s like, after everything that happened in Purgatory, it’s to be expected. it doesn’t matter how much Bad has cared for the eggs, it doesn’t matter how much we as the audience know he’d do everything in his power to keep any one of them safe - the fact remains that his actions have tarnished the trust he’s built with some of the other islanders. it remains to be seen how this’ll come into play with the rest of Red, as they’re still missing, but it’s super obvious with Roier.
I doubt Roier will be on tomorrow to take care of Leo, and I know Bad is planning on giving her cookies and taking care of her. and I’d bet money this’ll be another point of tension against Bad - yes, even though he’s watching out for Leo. I keep coming back around to actions having consequences, but it’s prevalent, and this is one of the many Bad is experiencing - a complete lack of faith and trust from the others because of his actions in Purgatory.

Okey same person who asked about thranduil baby daddy’s here.
By the way loved the explanation, makes sense. But I would love to hear more about Ingwe and his adopted relationship to thranduil.
Especially your opinion on how would have thranduil reacted seeing how ingwe turned out? in the sense that in valinor he was all “pease, art, music and the serving the valar”.
Also do you think if given the chance to return to middle earth after going to valinor, the we’s would have returned? And would they have brought their children with them?
I love hearing questions, so dw!
So, first things first: little reminder that everything i have to say is about my au, and is not always canon compliment.
So Ingwe actually calls Thranduil his ada. If you ever hear him talking about his Ada he means thranduil. And everytime someone tries to interfere and say “don’t you mean ingen?” After they started living in valinor (ingen and Alehalen(ingwe’s mom) went with the vanyar) ingwe point blank tells them no, they aren’t his parents.
It’s actually a point of tension, bc valinor elves don’t really understand the concept of adoption, just like they don’t really deal with divorce/remarrying/everything that happened between miriel and finwe. So a lot of elves don’t actually acknowledge that Ingwe has disowned Ingen and Alehalen. Including his younger sister Indis, who was born in valinor (yes, in this au indis is his sister) and his wife, who keeps insisting that he should mend his relationship with them.
And thranduil just treats him like he came from his body. Which isn’t difficult bc Ingwe and Lasgen could be twins tbh. Lasgen and Ingwe are genuinly close, btw, and will call each other “twin”. Thranduil is, however, ready to throw down with Ingen and Alehalen the moment he catches even the faintes whif of them treating him like shit. It was a lot of comforting a crying elfling way back when. Tbh, because custody arrangements and such didn’t really exist then, Ingwe actually just generally spent a lot of time with thranduil and his family, especially as he became older.
This actually what kind of kickstarted the bad blood between the two families. I mean, when ingen ding-dong-ditched thranduil, they were annoyed but moved on oretty quick (especially when they don’t think that loosing Ingen was any real lose) but the way ingen proceeded to treat his kids, and the way in which thranduil “stole” his sone from him really sparked the fire between the two families. Which is why ingwe doesn’t understand how Finwe, who is a Miriel simp, could possibly cheat on her with Indis, of all elves.
It’s complicated. And the drama started long before the Miriel/Finwe/Indis debacle was even thought up, though most elves don’t realize it/forgot.
So, idk if you know this, but i joke on here that Ingwe “started a cult” to deal with his emotions/gain power. Except then he lost control of the cult. To his parents. And sister. And wife. And to an extent his son. Yeah Ingwe’s just having a bad time. He also is very scared that after the thousands of years since he’s seen thranduil that thranduil no longer thinks of him as his son.
Dw, the moment thranduil is in valinor (through whatever means that may be) he pretty much immediately tracks down his long lost son and demands he comes for a family diner all while hugging the stuffing out of him. Thranduil genuinly wouldn’t care how Ingwe turned out as long as he’s happy and not an ass. Sadly, it’s sad vanya elf hours and ingwe’s been lowkey miserable for millenia and this 👌 close to snapping.
The thing about cuivienen elves, is that in general, i think, they deserve to have their own classification bc, by virtue of being the ones who discovered everything/created society/etc. they all have their wires crossed. And it’s not that they dislike peace, but most of them feel a bit stiffled in valinor. Furthermore, i feel like they feel at least a little disassociation with other vanya/teleri/noldor born elves bc cuivienen elves didn’t actually grow up in that culture, and a lot of those distinctions between elven ethnicities happened after they were kids. They feel a little lost, a little out of place at times.
I actually hc that none of the we’s were actually planning to stay in valinor or lead their people but somehow ended up in that role anways and they’re kinda pissed about it. They just wanted to explore, ok, they did not know it meant signing up to be king.
I feel like all of them want to return to middle earth, if they get the chance, but they also don’t want to abandon their people/families, nd they feel it would be unfair to ask it of their families, when a lot of them are clearly happy in valinor.
In short, in my au, the -we’s feel more or less trapped in their role.
Especially when they have to constantly behave civil, when they’re all a little unhinged. Ingwe’s actually pretty bloodthirsty when it comes down to it. It’s something he shares with Lasgen, Willow (other older sister from another mother) and indis. This drive to be ruthless and almost cruel when dealing with any type of opposition is something they inherited from Ingen, though none (bar indis) likes to acknowledge that that is where they get it from.
Also, just a thought:
Thranduil: *steps foot in valinor*
Ingwe, finwe, elwe, and olwe: finally, an adultier adult.
Might have gotten a bit side tracked, but i hope this answered at least most of your questions.

Thinking about how the two people Wille wants to be held by are either dead or want nothing to do with him, and he’s stuck living with a mother completely disregarded his feelings and agency and left him out to dry, only to return to a school with the cousin who betrayed him, the boy who wants nothing to do with him, the fake people he’s always hated, and a very few people who could be there for him but who cannot provide him with what he so desperately needs.
How unloved he must feel. How utterly alone he must feel. How that lack of love and support and comfort can lead a person away from who they truly are and lead them into embracing those awful feelings of sadness and revenge, revenge against everyone who took those things from him.
Wille’s arc this season is going to be devastating but I really hope there will a light at the end of the tunnel for him.

hmm I don’t know.. just like op of that post, I have no knowledge of who he did or didn’t (un)follow. and most of louis’ band and management still follow him.. but I agree it is weird how he seems to have left very suddenly. I think the last time we saw him with louis was lisbon.. and then he was just.. not there for the rest of europe? he wasn’t even there for louis’ huge milestone moments on the uk tour leg which seemed very strange after how long they’ve been working together 🙁

Being a big sister is so important to Selina’s character, actually.
Listen. We don’t know the exact age difference between her and Maggie, but based on the size difference in flashbacks to them as kids, I’d say probably two or three years. That means that accounting for early childhood amnesia, Selina has been looking after someone less capable than her for as long as she can remember. Giving and caring and nurturing and protecting. This is such a fundamental part of her personality, it’s older and deeper than the stealing; sarcasm; self-sufficiency; cynicism; even than the loss of innocence. This is her core. Her foundation. For years, she never put herself first because her sister needed her. She had to learn to do that, the hard way. To value herself at all, let alone above others, was an uphill climb, so no wonder she can take that too far when she’s older - she constantly has to outweigh her inner conscience! She tried to rip that selfless part of herself out when she left Maggie behind to a life of safety and peace, while condemning herself to one of struggling and fighting to survive.
But she didn’t. She couldn’t. In her late teens, Selina was a sex worker with an abusive pimp, no support system, no financial security, a lot of psychological baggage and generally nothing good in her life. She had every reason to only look out for her own wellbeing. To decide that with all the problems she already had, everyone else’s were only theirs. Yet the moment she she saw Holly in need of help and protection, she stepped in. She took this needy, dependent kid under her wing and raised her for years. No ulterior motive, no external pressure. Because that’s who she is.
Yes, Catwoman is a strong independent badass. Yes, Selina has issues and some notable deficiencies in social skills and sometimes not that great mental health, which can make her act selfish and uncaring or be unable to commit or show vulnerability. But beneath that surface, she cares so much. She needs and deeply values relationships. Pushing people away is almost always an effort to stop them getting hurt by her or proximity to her, even subconsciously.
Selina Kyle is just as inherently predisposed to care about people as Bruce Wayne. The reason Batman was always a hero and Catwoman was originally a ruthless thief was that his environment and experiences rewarded that altruistic drive, while hers punished her for it. So I’d like to see more of Selina the protector and the nurturer, without her softer side negating her coolness or getting written off as Batman’s influence alone or her not being true to herself, when really it’s the opposite. Her falling in love, making friends, switching from theft to vigilantism, becoming a mother figure to Kitrina Falcone and the Batkids, etc. are all natural developments of her character. They’re her rediscovering another, equally true side of her identity and learning to love and embrace it.

The Incredible Hulk (1968) #279
now that is just not what happened here. obviously Bruce’s life has sucked, but the Hulk is primarily the one that has actually had to deal with being “harried, hunted and hounded,” he is the one that has been living in a state of immense stress because he’s always either on the run from fights, being attacked because it was assumed he was going to start a fight, or starting a fight himself either because he’s paranoid from all his traumatic experiences or is lashing out because he’s overwhelmed by his senses, because he is significantly mentally disabled. and him supposedly being killed/Bruce being cured of his existence is taken as Bruce triumphing over his disability, because the Hulk is too inconvenient for it to be imagined that there is a good outcome where he still exists. inconvenient for everyone else, at least, the Hulk actually wanted to find a way to live peacefully

I need someone to call Bo Katan the fuck out this season of the Mandalorian. “Your cult fractured our people, where were you then?” As if she wasn’t an active and conscious member of Death Watch before they wanted to kill her sister, and even then she didn’t leave because of that.
“Your cult fractured our people,” that is soooo rich coming from a former lieutenant of Death Watch, who only changed sides because she didn’t agree with who won leadership rights through combat. It’s crazy how she’s all about tradition and honor, until it’s something she doesn’t agree with. The owner of the darksaber through combat is the rightful ruler of Mandalore, until it’s anyone she doesn’t like, until it’s not her specifically. All for uniting the people, until it means dealing with members of the cults that have fractioned them, and then she’s as harsh and exclusionary as it gets. No uniting her people, only judgement, looking down her nose.
“Where were you then” motherfucker he was hunting for his clan, he was providing for foundlings and family, he was risking it all to save a baby he had just met. Before that he was a fucking kid being indoctrinated by the group that took him in after his family died. Where were you then, Bo Katan? Killing innocents in terrorist attacks? Leading not one, but two Mandalorian civil wars? Losing the dark saber and Mandalore itself?
She wears hypocrisy far better than she’ll ever wear her armor.
