6 years ago today, I adopted a skinny kitten that followed me home, and now I require you to look at him.

He has grown into a lovely boy, full of zoom and yell. But also full of love.

He is easily the best thing I brought with me when I moved out of Texas. (I didn't think so when he was trying to slip under my pedals on an interstate in Idaho, but I digress.)

For me, visuals are not just about the face. I look at the whole man, the whole physique. His whole frame. How flexible and toned that frame is. A person who, as a whole is an arresting sight - that's what a visual is to me. And the person who I think has that the best, is Jimin.

People like to talk about how androgynous Jimin's face is. How he apparently highlights his feminine side in his visuals. How his sharp jawline and strong browbone contrast with full cheeks and full lips. But in my opinion, it is his eyes that create the magic. My favourite thing about Jimin's face is how dynamic it is. His eyebrows move by millimeters and convey a whole story. He has an incredibly expressive face.

You know, I already liked Jimin as my fave visual in BTS, but recently my friend, the person who watched the Grammys with me earlier this year and became a new ARMY-recruit afterwards, she's a Jimin-bias and she recently showed me some Jimin fancams and FMVs on Youtube.

Y'all.

A revelation occurred.

I suddenly realized, I had underestimated him. Not by much, but still. He's got a deep reserve of talent and you can just see it in his face. Anyway, he's hot and very fuckable. Beautiful, sometimes gamine... it's disconcerting even to me sometimes though I've been a fan of his visuals since debut. I've seen his face since 2013 and I still get surprised by expressions I've not seen him do before, and expressions I’ve seen many times. It's actually fun just watching him.

Jimin has the sort of visual any gender, any race, any sentient being would want to have. Like let's cut the bullshit.

Side-note: This is a bit random but I think one reason taekookers obsess so much over Jimin, is that they too can see it. They can too easily see Jimin in wholesome and loving relationships, relationships where he is wanted and desired, the sort of relationships we think he has. They can see him this way with anyone, including with the people in their ship - a ship that has always felt a bit too much like make-belief.
