and of course for the PRISM Corps AU we have Grian, an independent magical fighter who was chosen by a rogue Prism. He's pretty decently powerful as well!
Grian's design was based on popular ariana griande and cuteguy designs, I ultimately stuck more with cuteguy inspo but i could not resist giving him a large poofy ponytail
His prism's name is Ariana and she is incredibly sassy lmao. Everyone else also only knows and calls Grian (in magical girl form) by Ariana because that's the only name they can go off from. When the pair are discovered, the Corps is very not happy about that because they've already got corrupted prisms to worry about, they really don't want random people running around with rogue prisms as well. He's basically a vigilante

[kicks door down]
Autistic Nishiki whose special interest is fashion and not only considers what's trendy but also looks out for fabrics that aren't a sensory nightmare, however sometimes he will force himself to wear something that isn't comfy for appearance's sake, which leaves him more vulnerable to getting overwhelmed and therefore 'emotional'
Also means he has his collar popped like Kiryu's for sensory reasons too and slutty reasons, which would once again make me correct in saying if he undid his collar in Kiwami he'd be normal again because if I were constantly experiencing sensory discomfort I too would be fucked up and evil.
Cause like here's the thing, autistic Kiryu and Majima headcanons are more obvious (especially the former), whereas Nishiki probably comes off as the most 'normal'; he can likely maintain eye contact and talk to people 'normally' and not like, go off on some random tangent about a special interest or hyperfixation. And then you remember masking is a thing.
And okay, so I actually think it's unfair a lot of fandom considers him a 'crybaby' right, cause he's cried in situations MOST PEOPLE WOULD RIGHTFULLY CRY OVER!
BUT, I can use this to my Autistic Advantage and have this be he actually struggles to regulate his emotions, and considering he's been exposed to the yakuza world since a young age where ANY emotion that isn't 'respectable stoicism' or 'righteous fury and indignation', he's seen as even MORE overly emotional. Hence the need to start masking so early, PLUS having to protect Kiryu who couldn't mask if his life depended on it because he doesn't realise he may HAVE to (speaking from personal experience, Kiryu definitely went his whole life unaware there was anything ""wrong"" with him (for lack of a better word) and had people just like "oh yeah he's just Like That dw bout it" and went on with his life), so Nishiki takes up the mantle of I'm The One Who Knows What We're Doing
Lad's desperate to gain acceptance and will change whatever he has to but people still somehow pick up that Something's Off About Him and so they tend to be disdainful or brush him off. It's easy charisma that can win over hostesses and brief encounters with civillians but can't carry across in the yakuza. Kiwami is him trying his DAMNDEST to act neurotypical even at the cost of his own comfort, and the worst part is it's not working

I was thinking about Sandman because I literally can't stop thinking about it since I watched the show...
And I was thinking about Jessamy and how she waited, and plotted, and bided time until she could enact a plan to just get to Dream. To show him that he isn't alone, to try to get to him, to get him out.
And we get Dream's reaction, that tentative hopeful and surprised smile, reaching out, the smile fading almost like he's trying to comfort her and tell her that it's alright, he knows she can't get him out, that it's enough to know that she's there and he wants her to be safe. If there had been more time before Alex came down to the basement, I could imagine Dream would have tried to have her leave, that he'd rather she didn't get caught down here or hurt or killed, but they didn't. They just shared that last moment of adrenaline and desperation and connection before Alex shot her.
And she died.
And we know that the ravens were once mortals, so Jessamy was a human, so would Death come to retrieve her? Or are the ravens meant to reside in the Dreaming when they die? What does Dream's imprisonment mean for that?
Going off of the possibility that Death would come to collect Jessamy when she dies, I imagined Jessamy rising again, standing in her incorporeal human from the raven body on the floor, still in that state of desperation, running to the glass cage and beating her hands on it, shouting that she is going to get him out, that she cant leave him here alone with these people, begging Death to do something as Death walks in and convinces her that it's time, that her service has ended.
We saw that Dream could see the interactions that Death had with the deceased, so maybe he could see Jessamy. Maybe his tears were partially due to seeing Jessamy and Death there. Maybe Jessamy was begging Dream to just ask Death for help, just put his pride aside for one second, but his eyes were just caught on Jessamy's body as Alex collected it up and he couldn't. And Death took Jessamy and left and Dream was alone again.
Anyways, it's just interesting to see the wounds left after Jessamy was killed, where you can sort of see the outline of where their relationship once was, and we don't really get much of Jessamy, just the comparisons to what Dream has with Matthew now and (theoretically) Lucienne, if she was still previously one of his ravens also. Since he isn't really someone with a lot of close connections, fleshing out those he did have is fun. But hurts a little.
She's such a pretty smart bird. 🐦

I know I’ve been posting a lot more stuff from LOTR than from the Silmarillion lately, but hopefully nobody minds. Anyway, here’s more LOTR.
Don’t be rude, Legolas.
Thanks to @cultivating-wildflowers for reminding me of this passage with a drawing prompt that I did not end up sticking to.
Transcription:
Gimli stood leaning against the breastwork on the wall. Legolas sat above on the parapet, fingering his bow and peering out into the gloom.
“This is more to my liking,” said the dwarf, stamping on the stones. “Ever my heart rises as we draw near the mountains. There is good rock here. This country has tough bones. I felt them in my feet as we came up the dike. Give me a year and a hundred of my kin and I would make this a place that armies break upon like water.”
“I do not doubt it,” said Legolas. “But you are a dwarf, and dwarves are strange folk.”

(grandpa=Glatt)
I LOVE apples‼️‼️ apple pie sounds DELICIOUS, I haven’t actually made it in forever 😊 but I’ll find a recipe for us to try :)
Oh!! Um. I know my dad does, and Techno has different ones — ones a bit more similar as to what you’d have :) But me and Wilbur are… I think human. I think. Gets kind of muddy when BOTH your parents are kind of not-human, you know?
Oh, trust me, he doesn’t spoil you :))) he gives you as much love and prizes and everything you deserve!!!
Oh, yeah. Your grandpa has… a history, of being a bit rough-around-the-edges with kids. So your dad is just being cautious :) he isn’t a bad person, at least Glatt isn’t. But he’s adjusting to being around babies again after it’s been so long since your dad was your age!!
