Obey Me MC

So this is my MC Aren

They're fiercely independent, having to raise themself in a not so child-friendly environment. They're the type to try and find a solution on their own before even thinking about asking for help. Can be blunt as all hell, sometimes blurting things out before thinking. A decent cook out of necessity.

Takes things in stride and processes it later when it's calm enough to think and look back on the events that happened. Honestly they just shut their brain off and force themself to be logical but once the emotions take over, they have a hard time calming down.

Back in high school, they were somewhat of a delinquent. More like a lone wolf type than anything. They've had their fair share of climbing the perimeter wall to skip class and getting involved in fistfights. They keep to themself but the other students think they're an easy target because of that. They are not. This caused them to be an occasional target for thugs who'd like to "put them in their place". They developed a habit of carrying a pocket knife because of this.

They aren't fazed about magic. The place they grew up in had a prominent culture about folk healing and witches and superstition. They lived with a witch for quite some time after running away from home (they loved her very much and was devastated when she passed).

They have a healthy amount of curiosity, often asking questions to satisfy it. This results in them reading a lot but only for topics they have interest in. Mainly magic. Which is how they and Solomon get along well. Aren loves to ask questions and Solomon is happy to oblige (and flex his knowledge and experience). They were over the moon when Solomon took them in as an apprentice. Satan also enjoys their company and both can be seen reading together in the library.

Could not, for the life of them, get how the brothers manage to survive this long given how chaotic they are. Heck, they wonder how the house is still standing. Seeing the monthly finance reports make them blanch. But they've grown fond of the brothers (yes, even Lucifer). Belphegor, however, is on the top of their shit list and would take A LOT of time for them to tolerate each other without jumping at each other's throats.

Some rapid fire facts about them

22 years old and 5ft (poor tiny thing, feel free to take their knees out)

vindictive as hell

likes giving headpats cuz they suck at words (especially when they need to comfort someone) and is quite physical with their affection

is more proficient in sigil magic than speechcraft (magic squiggles go brr)

loves to fly (practiced flying nearly everyday, with supervision of course)

exercises regularly, either with Beel, Mammon, or Asmo (or the 4 of them work out together)

enjoys swimming and likes to be in the ocean but needs supervision

has pacts with demons aside from the brothers (hopefully i can finish writing the fic soon oof)

SPM anniversary let's go?!

I actually haven't finished the game yet (progressing slow because apparently; I am dumb), but here's the member of Team Bleck that I can proudly announce that I will be assigning the most headcanons to! Don't be mistaken, I love them all very much, but I just vibe more with Mimi for no apparent reason. Especially her true form, it's very fun (albeit tedious) to draw.

This sketch is still very unpolished but I wanted to atleast start a new drawing and have something to post for the anniversary. But I do plan on actually rendering it, so hopefully it'll look cool once it's done. I'll probably have to tweak the proportions and perspective a bit more before I do anything else tho.

However, I need to say that I probably won't be working more on this drawing for a long while. I've got tons of stuff in school rn(national exams among other things), so I'll have to focus on studying. But I'll get back to it as soon as I can, I promise!! ^^

Hey guys! Uh I felt like I should say something about the fandom

This is gonna be long, sorry!

Heyyyy, sorry I've been so uhhh hardly active online...I've been trying to come back to posting online and stuff just idk it's been a pretty rough several months and every time I think my motivation is back enough it disappears. I'm currently tryna work things out in therapy as a result of how bad certain things have gotten in the last few months, I'm not gonna say what it was but based on my writing with a lot of focus on self harm and suicidal ideation, you can probably guess.

At this point I think I'm about to just not even bother logging into twitter anymore and pretty much use this and ao3 and pinterest and stuff (maybe occasionally instagram idk tho that place kinda sucks). It would probably help me be more active on here tbh since yall seem not really do a lot of the things that make my mh worst XD

Alright, anyway I'm currently editing a few different fics I've been working on for a while, several of them decided to be in the 50-100 page on google docs range whether I liked it or not, so that and my current disasterous working situation is why it's taking a ridiculous amount of time. If I had a functional posting schedule, ig I wouldn't be an ao3 user. I was gonna include a statement in one of them about this, but I decided this needed to be said here first

So I don't think I plan on leaving the dsmp fandom no matter what happens at this point. The average length of interest in a fandom is like what 10 years? Idk I heard that from some yt. If so, I'm approaching the halfway mark with the dsmp, which is insane to think about, and I don't plan on jumping off that train any time soon. The stories were intriguing and the cc's and their characters and music and stuff have gotten me through the lowest points of my life, so it's very hard to forget that.

Even if the cc's turn out to not be great, I still have their characters, and I'm not willing to give up this coping mechanism just yet because I feel like not having one when everything else in my life seems to be going to shit wouldn't be that great

I see it like if you liked a character in a movie and the actor that played them turned out to be bad, would you still like the character? I would.

cc!Wilbur turned out to be a shitty person. His song about being a wanker and a fucking waste of time was in fact spot on. Fuck that guy. I'm done with his stuff but I'm still gonna write his character

There are a lot of things erupting on twitter right now, I'm not sure what's going on and I do Not have the mental fortitude to find out at this point. I can't say I believe everything because after the Dream situation last fall...I'm just holding off my judgement for now. I'll probably go looking once the dust starts to settle but right now it's all a huge mess and everything is up in the air

I can't guarantee anything at this point, but I will most likely continue to write c! stagedduo and most likely draw and crochet them. I do not have another coping mechanism and the brainrot over the story of the dsmp will likely not go away

I don't know what the future holds, but this is probably gonna become about the only social media i use now and I think i might just make an alt account or something for my other art so i can stop posting on instagram all together hopefully. 5. That's a really tough one. While I do follow gaming news, I am not so attentive to actual game releases. Mostly because I have never really played on a 'current' platform. I have been using consoles for gaming most of my life, I played on x360 up to 2017, then I got a ps4, which was/is my most go-to platform till this year. This year was a change for me, because I finally surrendered to pirating at the beginning of the year, and played through a number of awesome low-spec indies that way. Though, I have been very lucky to get a new pc recently, and oh boy is this a big change for me. It's still crazy to think this machine can run something more than pixelart now xD (no disrespect to low-spec games in this house allowed, the more accessible the game the better, weak hardware optimisation my beloved)

I have also found a way to get past the payment blocks and have bought all those games I pirated, that was a big weight off my shoulders) So, uh, yeah. I don't follow releases. I would have said Alan Wake 2 is you asked earlier this year tho, CONTROL had me transform into a Sam Lake devoted follower xD I'll gladly watch a letsplay of it sometime soon, before I catch any spoilers. All the other game series I'm interested in are either on hiatus (Darksiders when), or the latest entry made me lose interest (Horizon 2. I love the world, so I'll follow the series anyway, but the story of the sequel is a mess I didn't like at all, and it doubled down on this new direction too). That was a long and roundabout way of saying I don't really look up to any new games currently, lol.

12. Currently - Lohse from the DOS2. This game has an extensive player character creator, however, you could play as basically one of the companions of the game, with full custom story and questline. And Lohse is a Very special case, as my dear bard woman is currently posessed)

The game has some amazing moments, where it will throw you a persuasion check to 'prevent you from throttling a character because the demon inside you didn't like them' for example. Funnily enough, in this moment in particular, if you succeed on the first check (which is hard to do early-game), if will throw you Another one with other stats to use. And Another. There's three persuasion checks in succession here, which is normally literally impossible to do, unless you mod the game to hell and leave the balance there as I did, and STILL this is the only option the dialogue will leave for you. Lohse becomes uncontrollable after this, and your other party members have to subdue her.

It's incredible, amazing time, 10/10. Other origin characters are great too, but I think this fourth-wall-meddling makes Lohse simply the best origin character to play as.

I also greatly enjoyed playing as Delsin Rowe in Infamous Second Son, I love that game, it's super fun and has great style, plus Delsin is adorable. He's a bit punk, he is witty, he is a geek, an artist and his grafitti-drawing mechanic is adorable.

Also Death from Darksiders 2. His parkour is superb, his abilities are super cool, he has an amazing horse, and he is Literally Death Rider Of The Apocalypse.

13. First song that comes to mind would be Bound Together, since I mentioned it a lot the last few asks...excluding that one, Subhuman + BTL, and Black Dog for the fun of it, All Is Soft Inside which was featured for a virtual concert of AURORA in Sky: Children of the Light (adorable game, which will hopefully come out sometime on pc, mutuals I would hold your hands in that game so. much.)

20. A really cool boss. Sorry King Cerberus and Vergil, you are cool by definition. The first that comes to mind is the Guardian fight from the Darksiders 2, which is honestly the most badass fight in the series. THAT MUSIC HITS SO HARD. And that finish animation, oh my, pure epic.

22. A game ending that’s really stuck with you. ooops already did a too-long and roudabout post about that one xD

26. Realism or stylized? Stylized anytime. Realism is honestly kind of boring, though I admit sometimes seeing your fave very detailed is cool. For example, dmc5 Dante design is my favourite out of them all, because it is finally (kind-of) down-to-earth. The game is about fighting demons and being cool about it, but the story is of human struggle and issues, and the character design finally reflects that. And I do enjoy the Impressive hair physics in Horizon games, but that's it for realism. Stylized is literally better in every possible way: it makes the design more flexible - it can be expressive or constrained, depending on your direction; it is cheaper to produce and easier to optimize and easier to run. Plus 'realism' is a forever-outdated style. Games that were considered 'realistic' in 90s, 00s and 10s don't look so realistic to us now. Even Delsin Rowe I mentioned above - he looks great, the motion capture and animation for the game looks awesome, but his face is kind of baby-smooth and the pupils of every character in the game are just a bit too-wide, it makes them all look like they all collectively had some hallucinogens xD. Meanwhile, stylised games can never go out of style, as they are the ones dictating it. Beyond Good and Evil still looks good, Fables look good, Psychonauts does too, etc. These games always exist in the state they were meant to be viewed in, while realistic games are always reaching for the not-really-but-sort-of unattainable standards, which change with time and available technology.

Stylized is Always. Better. In. Every. Way. Also make games optimized again and lower the hardware reqs. I swear, it's like every new title requires you to buy an entire basement full of rocket-science multi-computers, each with a videocard which name will make the math-lovers cry.

Hi, I love your work! I’m so excited to get to know the world you’ve created! Mr smiles is such a hot compelling character and the whole world is so atmospheric! A couple questions tho:

1. Can you make a tag for when you bump your own art posts? It can be hard to find the new stuff you make so I’d love to be able to filter out self rbs :)

3. Are there other regular people living in tohp? Do they live normal lives? Do they all work for Mr. Smiles on some way or do they have businesses etc? There seem to be other people based on the animatic WIPs, but the city gives off such a strong vibe of being completely empty that I can’t tell how many there actually are!

To start of, I would like to apologize for not posting frequently or soon, especially my cpc review and drawing posts.

I honestly don't remember why I started posting cpc review posts. I think at that time, younger me did it out of fun and all. I understand where they are coming from haha. Unfortunately, as time goes on, I can't keep up with posting in the right time and schedule. And the more I do this, the more it feels like a chore. I appreciate people who likes my review posts, I really do! But I can't help but become more and more tired everyday. It has very little to do with some review posts of course, haha! It's just, I guess something's wrong with me. Don't worry tho, I can try to figure it out. I don't want to burden anyone, so please do not worry about me. Maybe I seem off sometimes, or I joke about concerning things, or I don't post anything in my tumblr or discord (replying in this case), but it's fine, really. No one did anything wrong, there's just something wrong with me (as I said before).

Maybe I'm just lazy lmao, that's probably the case. I'm too lazy to do anything nowadays, even something simple. Idk why, so I think that's something I should figure out. Anyway long story short, I'm starting to lose interest on things I usually adore. I still love cpc though. That's something I'm holding tightly on.

hi I'm alive just busy bc holidays!

some minor blog updates for those who care:

I'm trying, generally speaking, to pivot more towards original posts again instead of using this as a reblog repository.

this blog is very old (going on 14 years!) and I used to be pretty active in my fandoms on here before the porn ban. when I came back, I lost a little over 50% of my followers due to my inactivity, with a good portion of the rest being dead blogs at this juncture. my blog was never "big" in any fandom I participated in, but I do miss the interaction with people.

I didn't really know how to get back in the swing of "normal posting," so I fell into using this blog as a repository because that was easier. there isn't anything wrong with that, ofc, but that was never the point of this blog. I have side blogs for that purpose that I'll probably revive soon instead.

that doesn't mean I won't reblog random things ever again on here, but I'll probably taper them down to more tailored things. stuff like fandom related posts or art refs/inspo rather than straight up memes 24/7. tho don't be surprised if a few slip through anyway. I'm not made of stone! 😭

this blog has, and always will be, focused around my interests. I don't post anything remotely political and intend to keep it that way. I will also say, I'm not very big about discussing my real life details in general; I am extremely private online and at most there might be vague hints at what I do for a living, but I keep my online persona segregated from real life as much as possible. that's more an FYI than anything else, just so any followers know what not to expect when I get back into "normal posting!"

so what's "normal posting" mean for me, then?

mostly discussion, theory crafting, or meta posts revolving around my fandoms, mostly Capcom titles, so I hope y'all can enjoy those as they come. aaaaa it's really nothing special djdndj i never made an oc before so i'm just trying to put all my delusional thoughts into a character 🥹 till now i just designed her with a dress up app (cause i can't draw lol) and i'm coming up with a backstory that could link her to cozmez: she used to live in the same facility as them and then got adopted by a kind of wealthy family. they only cared about her for her good looks, so since she felt like shit thanks to that she ran away from home when she turned 18. she found a job at THE record store™ and now lives in a small apartment near the slums. she's really strong and independent aka the complete opposite of me :D

Hello everyone!! I know I haven't been posting lately :(

To be honest with you I have alot on my plate from collage and it's been hard to find time to draw personal work.

Even on the weekend I spend it having to catch up to my school assignments which are piling up so quickly 😞💔

I would love to continue drawing more batman content and expanding the things I do in the future! As well as explore these characters more.

I just hope you all would be patient with me and keep encouraging me to draw 💕

I have so many ideas I wanna explore, and tho I have never been very good with keeping up on schedules or consistent with content I hope I could still do some of these things this year.

what book are you currently reading?

I'm finally getting around to reading through all the riordanverse books (after dropping them when I was like, 10 & read on wikipedia that percy and annabeth kissed and I (unknowing baby lesbian) was like ew. romance. not reading that. which is hysterically funny to me now) & rn I am a couple chapters into the lost hero

also I'm technically still in the middle of an iliad reread (if you're seeing a greek myth theme then no you're not <3). and also teeechnically in the middle of war and peace but it's been ages since I read any.

what’s your favorite movie you saw in theaters this year?

haven't seen anything in cinemas this year but I am going to see barbie on sunday. I hope it's bonkers.

see I'm living out of a suitcase rn and also mostly dressing in a work uniform (I am consistently wearing trousers for the first time in about 8 years. very cursed.) so outside of work clothes I'm kinda back to wearing dresses? which is ok. it's not giving me the bad gender vibes I was getting a couple months back. hopefully soon I'll be back to my fav combo of kilt + button-up shirt + waistcoat tho

if you are not one of my dr who mutuals then you may not know (or you may have guessed from my vagueposting fdksjhgfd) that the stuff I love to write most is like,,, fic that's more about my historical interests than actual dr who HGKFDJ. & sure enough when I looked at what I'd done this year, all the stuff I liked best was historical fic. tossed up between a couple of them but I've got to give it to should i have bent, been reshaped

this was sooo much fun to write oh my god. it was mostly based around the title, bc as soon as I heard that song I was like. that's a jamie song. no I don't care it's from a video game and about a totally different character, it's about jamie's relationship with his father.

and I'm just so nuts about jamie's relationship with his family and his father in particular, the way it bounces off his queerness and relationship with his gender, etc etc etc. it's a very hyperspecific and niche fic but that's what gives me the most joy so <3

what is something that you’d like to create content for?

hmm idk!! nothing new, really. I'm very much wedded to two-era dr who in terms of writing. I'd like to make more holding achilles gifsets I think

life is really kicking my brain cell rn so not a whole lot but @ettelwenailinon talking about stuff to do with jacobitism/the '45 is driving me down the rabbithole again too & that is DEFINITELY coming out in the fic ideas I'm bouncing around ghfjkds

the first thing that jumped into my mind was the sun and the star. not gonna explain that one I'm just gonna say that I could fix her but also it makes me want to kill

just some random ramblings...

mental health stonks slowly going up again, tho its probably because I've been taking sleep meds so my sleep quality improved a bit 🤣 i discovered the quality is better if i drink sleep meds + sleepytime tea. even better if i also apply pain relief patches and efficascent oil.

bad news is that i ran out of sleep meds so I'll have to endure for a bit. i ordered a lot this time so i hope it arrives soon.

also trying to adjust my sleep schedule and supplements as well, the fatigue is catching up to me again unfortunately. its so bad that i should probably see a doctor to check on it atp but you know... anxiety.

on the other hand, i finished some oc profiles but i need to check the wordings because i typed those up at 3am lol after that i'll continue with the white day set, almost abandoned it ngl but i'll just finish the 🐟🎀 one then move on. sorry yui, i'll just draw u a solo art for that next year lmao i just follow where my inspo takes me and my brainworms lowkey want baby hibari pt 2 or the other ones dkjsksjsksks I wanna try drawing it on csp (i use this on pc) this time bc i have lots more of assets there but it's more convenient & faster with ibispaint (i use it on my phone)

im also preparing and studying for a certification exam as well, so i'll prob be offline more (hopefully not) as i get more into it. im trying to balance it rn so that i still get to draw and interact with friends. my gaming time did get sacrificed unfortunately, i bought lots of them in the last year end sale but i can't find the right time and headspace to play them.

He's way too busy to partake on these foolish human traditions! Besides, you should show love for your partner all year round, not only on a particular day!!!

That's his "open" answer, but inside he'll be hoping his beloved asks to spend the day together and showers him with love 🤭

He thinks the best gift is some finely crafted piece of art. It can be any form of art too, a drawing, a sculpture, a poem, a piece of music, etc. Anything that inspired his lover to create when thinking of Szi~ if it's material, he'll definitely keep it forever 💕

And, of course, he'll often gift poems or beautifully written letters to show his affections.

It will have to be when his lover declared his earnest love for him, directly and with no hesitation. Szi needs a lot of reassurance to open his heart, and that absolutely melted him and made him fall even more deeply in love~

A big amazing outing, in a fancy place and be showered with love and gifts---!!

For all his love for grand gestures, the one that got to him the most was a really private and soft moment.

Just after waking up in his lover's arms for the first time, hair a mess and no makeup one. He looked horrible for sure. But his beloved looked at him with eyes full of love and told Oriol how beautiful he is and how much loves him. Oriol was so moved that he even teared up a bit, melting into him ♥️

To be completely honest, she hopes her lover remembers that is Valentine's Day. She already made sure they have a date that day, but he tends to be in his own world and might not realize xD

She's too busy to waste time with dumb traditions like this one! But still, she always gets letters and gifts on Valentine's days from people who have a crush on her. She mostly rejects them outright.

It has to be something unique made just for her and no one else. Doesn't particularly have to be useful, it can just be decorative, but it has to take her aesthetic and preferences into account. It has to feel like the other person really knows her and is "intimate" in a way.

She doesn't have much romance experience yet, but there was one time, back in middle school, when a random guy on her class gave her his jacket when she looked really cold and she was really impressed. He did it so effortlessly and cool~ she didn't fall for him or anything, but it made her blush a lot at the moment and she viewed him in a better light from then on hahah.

Weeeeell, there's a few cute guys she likes to tease~ but she doesn't like any of them enough to confess or give them gifts on this day. But maybe if one of them confesses to her, she'll think about it? Depends on how well they do~ 🤭

Just as the question is named: flowers. A big colourful extravagant bouquet. Buying something like that and carrying it all the way till they met requires a lot of courage and shows how serious the person is and Nemea feels like that's really romantic~ Also, she really likes flowers 😌

Well, a dude that was interested in her in the past asked what she found romantic and she answered what I said on the last question. He gave her such a big bouquet she could barely hold it steady. She was so impressed she went out with him (it didn't last too long tho, they weren't too compatible hahaha).
