So basically... enough surgeons were just going ahead and touching open, pus-filled syphilitic sores that Baker had to say twice that people shouldn't fuckin do that.

So, for context, my husband and I live about 14 house by car from our families, and my three year old mostly communicates with them via video chat.

Today, her grandparents didn’t answer the phone when she called, so she decided to text them a bunch of emojis. Which they responded to and they just texted little animal pictures back and forth for a while.

And look, I know technology isn’t perfect and it’s caused plenty of problems and things can feel pretty bleak all around but. I don’t think we’re in the darkest timeline. Not as long as we have love.

The other day we had our propane run out and so a technician came in the relight our pilot lights, and the minute he saw our cat this middle aged man split into the most delighted grin I’ve ever seen and shouted “Oh hello you! With the two toned face!” He kept getting distracted because he was running around the living room looking for her. Idk that was my sweet moment for the day, it cracked me right up.
