#i was looking through old photos today. they where from wjen i was like 1 and it made me so sad #bc my mum would have been like only a year or 2 older then i am now and she looked so young #and now she has an abdomen full of tumors and blistered hands and feet. theyre prob gonna hsve to remove her bladder #but shes still very pragmatic abt it. but she grew up in a house where no one really cared about her feelings so she made them small #and now her mother calls and doesn't ask how her grandkids are doing and doesn't ask how her daughter is doing. im cursed with terrible #grandparents on both sides but i resent my mothers mother worse. though my dad said i probably wouldnt have survived his upbringing #and hes right. my nana has like zero empathy and cant cook for shit. idk how my parents r so normal but the fact i had a good upbringing is #probably the only reason im still here. and thats the other thing that made me sad abt the old pics. just looking at this little baby with a #fucked up head and thinking: in 25 years that kid is gonna b so broken down their not gonns kno what to do or how to fix it. idk whats wrong #with me. ive always been some stage of miserable but i used to b able to get things done. and now i cant seem to force functionality #and it sucks. bc im home now and i still feel like im cringing around this open wound in my chest. but whatever #as of today ive started taking ab1lify. hopefully it helps in the long term but in the short term it triggers my 0cd. which is not fun #its so frustrating. whatever. i also found out my eyes used to not work together. not enough to have a lazy eye but it was hard for me to #read and apparently my eyes were tracking at like double the speed of a normal person. wtf is wrong with my brain? also also my mum was like #yea i never would have guessed bip0lar but we thought it was something. autism i could see 100% but yea didnt see that coming. ao i guess #i brehave like a bit of an oddball. ans my nana would bother my dad to try to make me participate in church and my dad was like no. she #clearly don't wanna b here lol. ay. they did the best they could which i appreciate #unrelated

When you call him, he doesn’t answer. It pisses you off more than you care to admit, but you refuse to give up. At this point, you’re not even calling him because you’re needy. You just want him. So that’s why you decide to get in your car and show up at his apartment instead, fully ready to embarrass yourself in front of his roommates.

Arriving at his place, you hesitate. Going upstairs means you’re giving into this cycle again—after he’s left you twice, you think you have the power to make him stay. At the very least, you think, you deserve an explanation for his sudden change of heart.

You make it upstairs, standing outside the door for longer than you’d care to admit. Laughter filters through the door, and you cringe at the thought of all of them being home. And Mark being happy without you. After he ignored your call, too.

With an eye roll, you work up the courage to knock. You’re only standing there for a few seconds before Jeno opens the door. As soon as he sees you, his eyes widen.

“What are you doing here?” he asks.

“Wow, hello to you, too.” You scoff. “Is Mark here? I need to talk to him?”

“I…I don’t think this is a good time.” He looks over his shoulder, inhaling sharply. “Yeah, you need to go.”

“Jeno, be fucking for real right now.” You give him a slight shake of your head, narrowing your eyes at him.

“Who is it?” Jaemin appears around the corner, shoulder bumping Jeno’s as he halts. He has a similar reaction to Jeno’s. “Aren’t you two—”

“You know what, I’ll just go. Tell him I stopped by, if you want.” You turn around, but Jaemin grabs your wrist.

“What are you doing?” Jeno asks.

“Let her in.” Jaemin shrugs, tugging you toward the inside of the apartment. “Not our business.”

The two men step aside and let you through, and you stare at them in confusion as they cross their arms over their chests like a couple of bodyguards. You soon realize why Jeno wanted to send you home. Sitting on the couch is Mark, his arm around a girl you don’t recognize. Your heart lodges in your throat before you get a grip, and your jaw drops.

He doesn’t notice you until after he’s done whispering something in her ear. You ignore the burning sensation in your eyes, and right when he sees you, you’re already turning around to walk back out. There’s clearly no reason for you to stay, so you aren’t going to put up an argument for a man who gives up and moves on that easily.

 “(Y/N)--” Mark calls out behind you, but you barely hear it from the end of the hallway you’re at.

You have a few seconds to choose between the elevator and the stairs. He has more of a chance of catching up to you if you wait, so you opt for the latter. You slam the door open, moving as quickly down floor-by-floor as your body will take you. Not even ten minutes ago, you wanted to be with him. To lie in peace like you used to before. Now? Now you want to get as far away from him as possible.

There’s no coming back from this—not that there should have been in the first place after what he did to you the past couple weeks. He catches up to you when you fumble with your car keys, unable to find the fob for some reason.

“Can you wait a second? Please?”

You drop your hands to your sides, turning to look at him. “Why?”

“Because I…I don’t know. You’re here for a reason, right?”

“Yeah, Mark, I was.” You scoff, shaking your head at him. “What the fuck am I supposed to do with what I just saw?”

“I thought you didn’t care. After all this time, I thought you didn’t want what I did. What did you come here for?” he asks, pleads, eyes wide and sparkling in the starlight. You swallow past the lump in your throat.

“It doesn’t matter.”

“It does.”

“Not to me. Not anymore.”

“What did you come here for?” The sternness of Mark’s voice surprises you, and you recoil at the sound of it.

“Do I really have to spell it out for you?” You massage your forehead. “I came here for you. You ignored my phone call, and I wanted to see you.”

“I didn’t ignore it on purpose,” he tells you, stepping closer. “I haven’t even been on my phone all day. You know I’d never ignore you.”

“You were literally just all up on another girl.” You snort.

“I thought you weren’t an option. How else am I supposed to get over you?”

Get over you? What does that even mean? This whole time, the entire year you spent together, none of it was real. The two of you needed to get off, and it was an arrangement you both willingly set. What was there to get over?

“What are you saying?” you ask, even though the realization is dawning on you faster than you’d like.

“I’ve…” He pauses, avoiding eye contact with you. “I’ve been in love with you for months. You didn’t know?”

An unknown force slams into you, almost enough to send you reeling backward. The confession hangs in the air like a dense fog, so thick and palpable you could cut it with a butter knife. He waits and waits for you to say something, but you’re at a loss for words. You have no idea how to take that information, and the longer you let it sit, the more it makes your stomach turn in on itself.

“I guess you didn’t know.” He clears his throat, wetting his lips as he runs his fingers through his hair.

“Don’t say those things to me,” you breathe out. “You don’t get to say those things to me after everything you’ve done.”

“Everything I’ve done?”

“Seriously? You’ve left me twice in just the past two weeks, and right after you fucked me. Do you know how that makes me feel? Has someone ever made you feel like that? And then I come here and you’re all over someone else. How am I ever supposed to reciprocate those feelings for you when you act like a fucking teenager and not ever tell me?” Your frustration grows the more you talk, the more you realize how doomed the two of you really are if this is the way he communicates.

“I barely even know her—”

“Have you slept with her yet?” you snap, crossing your arms over your chest.

“Come on, dude.” He frowns. “Do you know me at all? No, I haven’t slept with her. I don’t even want to.”

“So you hang all over random girls all the time?” You unlock your car. “I’m leaving. Do us both a favor and don’t call me.”

You turn, gripping the handle. Before you know what’s happening, his palm slams against the window to stop you from opening the door. You take a shuddering breath, terrified of turning around and being so close to him. His chest is against your back.

“Mark, let me go.”

“No.”

“Mark.”

“Didn’t you hear what I said?” he asks. “I love you.”

You whip around when you finally work up the courage to look at him. “You wouldn’t have done any of those things if you did.”

“I thought you knew. I thought you were talking about forever and staying with me every night to keep me with you. And I was okay with it for so long, but then I just broke. I don’t know how else to explain it. But is that true? Do you want me around because you don’t want to be lonely or because you want me?” He leans closer to you, the faint smell of his familiar cologne drifting up. His brown eyes shine, begging you for the answer you both know is true.

“I would never do that to you,” you reply, voice thick. “But if that’s what you think, I’ve been right this whole time. You’re better off with whoever that girl is in there. Let me go.”

“I can’t.” His tone sharpens briefly, and he grimaces at his outburst. “I can’t. I love you, damn it. You’re everything I’ve ever wanted, and I refuse to let you walk away until I know whether or not you feel the same. I want to hear you say it.”

Your jaw quivers as all of the emotions buried deep in your chest force their way up your throat. Heart twisting violently in your chest, you feel as if you’re crumbling in on yourself. If you tell him the truth, you won’t leave. You won’t be strong enough to.

“Mark…”

“Tell me, and I’ll let you go. I just need to know.” As a tear slips down your cheek, he reaches up to brush it away. “Please.”

“Of course, I love you, you idiot.” You smack his chest, but you’re so weak, it doesn’t even make a sound. “How could you ever think I’d do those things to you?”

A thousand emotions cross over his face, like the world has split open beneath his feet, ready to swallow him whole. This is everything he’s ever wanted, yet it’s not right. This isn’t how you two were supposed to end up.

“My God,” he chokes out. “My fucking God, you love me. And I-I…fuck.” He steps back, hands running down his face.

You stay silent, staring down at your feet as you sniffle. There’s little that could fix this anymore, and you both know it. You don’t want to leave him anymore, even though the weight of all of this is soul-crushing.

“What can I do?” he asks, snapping to attention. “Please say I can fix this. Whatever you need me to do, I’ll do it.”

“I don’t know.” You shrug. “There’s nothing. I need to go.”

“Are you coming back?” His words shatter the quiet, calm atmosphere and turn it into something completely different. Awkwardness sinks into the night air around you, even when all you want to do is run into his arms and stay there.

But you have to keep your strength. You have to know if he’ll actually respect you.

“I don’t know,” you say honestly, fidgeting with your hands. “I have to think about all of this. How do I know you’ll be any different?”

“You’re right,” he agrees, breaking the newfound distance he created. Brushing your hair behind your ear, he gulps. “I don’t want you to go, so don’t think that’s what I’m saying. But I do want you to feel like you can, whenever you want or need to. Before you go…Can I kiss you? Just once.”

Your mouth opens for the words threatening to spill out, but you can’t force anything out. Even though you shouldn’t, you nod, craving the feeling of his lips on yours. If it’s the last time, you’ll be able to cherish it as the only real kiss the two of you ever shared. The only one where everything is on the table.

He leans in, pressing his lips to yours with a gentle fervor in an attempt to show you exactly what he’s feeling. Your entire body is shaking at this point. You hope he doesn’t notice, but you know it’s no use with him so close.

After a year of sleeping together, he’s never kissed you like this before. Like the world depended on it, like he’d fall apart at the seams if he hadn’t been granted permission. Much too soon, he pulls away, resting his forehead against yours with his eyes closed.

“I’m so sorry,” he whispers. “I never wanted to do this to you. I love you.”

“I love you, too.” You almost reach out for him when he moves away.

Leaning against your car, you watch as he walks backward to keep his gaze on yours. Once he’s inside the doors and no longer able to see you, you get in your car and break down. You have no idea what to believe—if he’s being honest about the girl he was with or even about his reasoning for everything before.

It makes sense, but that doesn’t make it okay. You have a lot to think about, and as the tears stream down your face, you swear you see him through his third-floor window when you finally glance up to leave.

HA yeah ok so you and matty go for a little long weekend up the north-east to visit some of his family, and newcastle are playing at home on the saturday and before you go tim phones to say he's got tickets for all of you - you included. matty giggles when he tells you this, because any time he talks about football or watches it in the house your eyes just glaze over out of disinterest, despite your best efforts to pay attention, and he knows you'll wince at the thought of actually going to a match; you do, but quickly plaster on a hesitant smile and say "ok", and matty's like "you'll go? really?", and you're like "... yes. it would make you really happy, wouldn't it?", and matty kisses your head and says "it would, darlin', it would mean a lot to me if you were there", and you're like "so it's settled. i will go to the football". and matty's like "can you say that again? i need to film it and send it to your dad so he'll believe me when i tell him" - you point at him like "don't fucking push it, matthew", and matty laughs and takes your face in his hands to kiss you like "sorry, baby. thank you for doing this. i love you. it'll be fun", to which you're like "i love you too, and that's the only reason i'm ACTUALLY doing it. and i guess seeing your family will be fun, at least, lol". but as the weekend gets closer, you do actually start to get excited, just because matty's so hyped about taking his girl to see his team lmao (he is such a boy). he's like "try on one of my football tops to see if it fits, and you can wear it to the game. that would be cute", and you're a bit 😐 about the idea; that is, until you pull one of the black and white tops over your underwear and step into the living room to show matty, and he reacts by... literally pulling one of the sofa cushions over his lap and breathing heavily. your jaw drops like "babe you did not just get hard at the sight of me in a newcastle united shirt lmaoooooooo. it's that easy? wow", and matty groans into his hands like "shut up how else am i meant to react? the most beautiful woman on the planet, my beloved girlfriend, in MY football top? this is teenage wet dream material, sweetheart" - you go over to kiss him and say "well, if we have sex now with me wearing it, will that make it better or worse?", and matty thinks for a second like "better. i'll get it out of my system" lol.

and he's right, actually - a week later, when you appear in his cousin's kitchen with the same shirt visible under your coat, all matty thinks of is how cute you look lmao (but he does smirk a little bit when everyone says how sweet you are for wearing it, considering you did some arguably non-sweet things to him in it before lol). the actual day itself is quite nice; you all go for food and a couple of drinks before the game, during which you literally just share really cringe anecdotes about matty with his dad and brother, and then matty takes 948482 pics of you outside st james' park (and makes one his lockscreen) before you go in. he hugs you tightly before the game starts like "this is really special to me, sweetheart, thank you for doing this", and you're like "it's chill i actually am having fun lol". he stays holding you through the start of the game, too, because it's chilly, but pulls back to look at you in bewilderment when you hum along to the local hero theme as the players come onto the pitch; you're like "what? i've seen the film. it's good. so is the tune", and matty kisses you quickly like "you never fail to amaze me, honestly". anyway, the first half of the game is... kinda boring? nobody scores, there's not a lot of action, and the most exciting thing is you nearly burning your tongue on a bovril at half-time lol. it picks up in the second half, though - you spend the first few goal attempts looking and smiling at matty getting really into it, because he's so cute and animated, but then the tables turn and you catch him grinning at you when you swear at a near miss from newcastle. when they finally do score, you both cheer, and matty gets so hyped that he picks you up - well, he tries to, in the limited space between rows of seats lol. you have to ask him to clarify ref decisions at bits (fuck if i know what constitutes a yellow card btw), which he RELISHES doing, explaining them and kissing your cheek when you're like "ok cool. i see". in the end, newcastle win, and when the home support stands go into joyous uproar you're a part of it, hugging matty and tim and all the rest of the family as if you were an avid fan lmao; matty also probably tries to fully make out with you in excitement and just general happiness that you're with him, which you indulge in briefly before being like "come on, we need to move now so the people behind us can get out lol". but you continue the making out in the smoking area of the pub you all pile into to celebrate the win, matty like "this has been one of my favourite days ever, sweetheart. i'm so grateful for you, and even more in love with you, honestly" - you're like "i love you! and i really have enjoyed myself. don't think i could do it every week, in fairness, but i had fun. thanks for bringing me, baby". and matty's like "anytime, darlin'. and feel free to borrow the top anytime, too. in fact, i'd encourage it" lol <3

You've met GEO

My reasoning for loving him so much stems from Season 2 Part 1 so I can't fully explain

BUT

I can tell you some things that they show doesn't tell (I think):

Geo says that he's a Munch with the color of a Geckle but it's not true; he's half and half

If you didn't notice but only his left ear was pierced; a sign in the Gay community to other gays that you are gay back when being public about it was frowned upon

The man who wrote the episode "Land of Lost Things" and created Geo (I think he made the character) is gay himself! So in a way, Geo is a self-insert character

I am Aromantic. I just don't feel the need or want to have a romantic relationship. And that seems to have stepped over into the media I watch. I don't ship. I'm slightly romantic repulsed. I don't actively hate it, I just don't like it. I'm fine with canon ships like Jaya or Lumity (from Owl House (plz watch it)).

But something about Geo and Cole. Something about how they interact in Season 2 that just.........AUGHAUGHGHHAHG!!!!!!! It awoken something in me. I feel warm inside!!!! I found myself grinning ear to ear.

It could just be the fantastic writing, but it's so much more. The ship for Geo and Cole is called LostShipping and/or Geode. The fanbase kind of goes back and forth. I don't mind either.

I'm still aro, and I still cringe inside at most romance. But Geode is the one exception and the whole #savemyboycole thing is really dumb

And yeah......there are ppl who are NOT happy about Geo and Cole. They're not even actually together yet some ppl on Twitter are pissy. They HAAAAATE Geo! It's stupid. First off, it's a lego. Second, it's a kids show. Calm down. It's not that bad/important. Some ppl see Cole as Gay (me) and others see him as straight. Both are fine. Both are cool. He's still the same guy.

Oh, and there's no minifig for Geo. I think it's bc of his hair. They don't have like a set piece of it or something.....eh....just make a plushie of him (and of Cole plzzzzzzzzzz) I'd buy 500 if they did honestly

I totally remember the gay ear piercing thing! My cousin and uncle were double and triple checking when they got their ears pierced that they didn't get the wrong ear. And that was in the early 2000s. It's amazing what's changed in 20 years. (Note: this is not the cousin who got married in Malaysia last year. This is his older brother, the extreme goth who hosts the Halloween Birthday Party every year. The 1 where my sister pumped me up to do this.)

I only have Neo 3 and 8 as OCs cause I specifically made them to wear the Teddy Band and Golden Toothpick respectively. My Inklingsona wears the Skull Bandanna (plus it’s my favorite in-game headgear so I never change it), but since I worked so hard for the Teddy Band and Golden Toothpick I felt like I needed someone to wear them for me hdncjsdnc

So yeah, that’s their sole purpose for existing and the reason I don’t have an Agent 4, yknow since they never got a super hard to get item from Splat 2 hero mode. This is an A/N post, why my writing is delayed currently, CW: health issues, (heart), mental health, mentions of trauma.

I am trying to write, most of you don't know but amongst my health issues I've recently been having heart problems, and when I get an attack it literally feels like I'm having a heart attack, I had one such attack late last night and early this morning (as well as last week which means the frequency is increasing) and I had to medicate myself as when I go to the hospital they do nothing (also I can't sit in A and E in agony for hours on end to receive no help and be sent home again, and I'm too anxious once the pain is gone to call the GP the next day to try to find out why I keep having these attacks as I always get treated poorly at the doctor's and I don't have an advocate🥺) but the meds I took, they make me so drowsy so I can barely focus for more than five seconds intervals right now before my eyes keep closing, often times it's either my health or mental health that slows down my ability to release content quickly, but I am trying guys, life permitting I really am and I haven't forgotten about you all.

I just feel guilty that this week has been a rather bad one for me (I have alot of trauma based around my birthday too which was last Friday and the days surrounding it so my mental health also spiralled and caused a burn out over the weekend, plus I had alot of socialising with people I'm not comfortable around who aren't always very nice to me which was another thing that set off the burn out as it was for several days I had to be around them...

Sorry if I'm rambling or being too erratic I can hardly focus for more than five seconds at a time as I've said earlier, so writing this is difficult, but I want you all to know, I haven't abandoned my works, I will still be doing them, I'm just experiencing a lot of issues simultaneously rn...

Thank you to everyone who has been supportive and enjoy my work, I can't believe how many people have liked my stuff so far, especially as a new writer I feel so humbled at how many of you have left me notes, I honestly never thought I'd be any good but I've been blown away and emotional about all the love I've received for my little one shots and even the little quips I occasionally post and I just wanted to say I love you all so much.

(please excuse grammar, spelling and punctuation issues in this post as I've said I'm not with it from the prescribed tablets I had to take to stop the pain).
