► Farben is quite a great German song I stumbled upon on YouTube while scrolling for a video to watch out of boredom. I truly recommend listening to it! man, do I love songs from other countries...

FAVORITE COLOR : any shade of any color!

► im sorry I just CAN'T choose a color when all of them are sooooo pretty!!!! 😭😭😭 I mean, most of the them... some are just kinda not my vibe 😃 like neon yellow or hot pink- but honestly, any shades of blue and green are my personal favorites :]]

LAST MOVIE : Alive (1994, Adventure/Thriller Film).

► I watched it by myself cuz my mom REFUSES to watch it bc it's based off an actual incident that happened and it contains acts of cannibalism- I don't remember much of it?- but I assume I enjoyed it, oh and I also watched the documentary(?) of the Andes Plane Crash Incident and it was great (pls don't think of me as a weirdo- I just like watching real crime/murder/etc. documentaries sometimes 😭)

SWEET/SPICY/SAVOURY : any flavor for me really! depending what I feel like tasting rn.

► any flavor is fine with me and I love all of them! I can't really pick what kind of flavor if I was told what kind of flavor would I eat for the rest of my life- spicy is really good depending on the food!! :D

RELATIONSHIP STATUS : Single and ain't looking for anyone 🔥🔥

► I'm aroace y'all if you didn't really know?- (aromantic asexual) which means I really am not attracted to anyone romantically or sexually! I hope you respect that (plus my mom forbids me and all of my siblings from dating anyone 💀 (not that'd i would actually date or have sex at all)

LAST THING I GOOGLED : yokai that sucks blood.

► pls don't ask. :,) the only explaination i could give is that i made a few ocs inspired by yokai- plus i think it'll be kinda cool to make a yokai oc who sucks blood for a possible scenario- but maybe that's just me :,)

CURRENT OBSESSION : Creating OCs.

► okay so- I've gotten a little too carried away when creating OCs cuz now I have like 82 of them and 47 other side OCs.. 😓😦 but am I gonna stop? no! :D i love creating OCs either having different nationalities, ages, genders, traits, appearances, names, origins, and etc.! though I probably wouldn't be using like,, half of them for something, I just think they're neat! :DDD there's probably nothing stopping me from doing this! and if you don't like it, just go on about your day and ignore this!! :DDDD

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Recovery, a post-RE2 Remake Leon/Claire smut (340) The Rise, part 1 of my DAI-timeline series that starts with the prologue and ends with the arrival at Skyhold (140) Bracing, a 350-word drabble for Dorian/Bull (71) A Terrible Bore (350-word Cullen/Theresa drabble) and An Evening In (one-shot Cullen/Theresa fluff) are tied for fourth (64) Fiercely Perish, which is essentially Die Hard in Thedas, with Bull as John McClain (56)

5. Do you respond to comments? Yes! I try to respond to everyone and try not to be overwhelming in my gratitude lol. I so rarely get comments that each one feels like Christmas Morning to me and I want to cherish it forever.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? The Black City - the second part of my post-Trespasser Cullen/Theresa series, which ends with their relationship in tatters and them coming to the conclusion that the only way they can heal from their grief is apart. One of the hardest things I've ever written. T_T

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Swept Away - my super indulgent Josephine/Isabela adventure romance. I wrote it as a combination of Pirates of the Caribbean meets Jane Austen. I adore them!

8. Do you get hate on fics? No, never! I've been very lucky.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yup! I've written one-shots as well as scenes incorporated into longer stories. It's almost never PWP though - I have tried and literally can't. For some reason it always ends up at least partly a character study lmao. And because it's me, there's also usually some angst worming its way in there. I am hopeless. ^_^;

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? Nope. The closest I've ever come was D&DA Effect, which was me just taking the idea of "what if the plot of DA was actually just the crew of the Normandy playing D&D?" and cranking out a short dialogue-only scene. It reads like a transcript lol. It was definitely fun, but overall I don't have much interest in crossovers.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not to my knowledge.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? I've had a couple people ask if they can translate one or two of my fics, and I've always granted permission. If they ever completed the translations, I was never tagged in them.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? A couple times, yes. I've participated in a couple round robins with my fellow server members, and did a pinch hit on an exchange event with another writer.

14. What's your all time favorite ship? Oh gosh I have so many.... My favorite to write for is definitely Cullen/Theresa, Theresa being my OC Trevelyan Inquisitor.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Look. I really, REALLY wanna finish my Reprises & Reprisals series. I promise!!! I'm about to pick it back up in fact. But my worry is that once the fourth game comes out I may lose interest in writing for Inquisition for a while. And who knows when it'll come back. So I'm hoping to at least finish MOST of book two, which will at least get me to the end of the base game and the big revelation I've been sitting on for literal YEARS.

16. What are your writing strengths? Character and dialogue, and I've also been told that I write action well

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Repetition. Descriptive prose and scene blocking. Every time I have to describe what a character is physically doing in a scene, I immediately forget how to exist in a body or how to move one lol.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? If you are fluent enough to write in that language, write it out. Or if not, at least run it by someone who is. The more often languages other than English are included in stories shown to a primarily English-speaking readership, the less "other" it will become. Otherwise, it's best just to write it in English (WITHOUT writing the accent) and describe what language it's being spoken in. Conlangs and ciphers are definitely trickier, and I try my best not to lean too heavily on them, just because I don't feel I'm well enough versed in linguistics to really parse the nuances of such use without accidentally falling into unfortunate implications or stereotypes.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Mass Effect

20. Favorite fic you've written? As much as I love my Cullen/Theresa stories, I have a deep fondness and love for Swept Away. I poured a lot of time and effort into its writing, and it remains, in my opinion, one of my best-paced, best-written, and most engaging stories.

For the most part just Star Wars (various flavors thereof), but I have a very few Tolkien things too.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Of course! I want to let my commenters know how appreciated they are! And it’s fun to meet new readers and writers.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I have a good number of stories with angsty endings, but the angstiest to date may be Opus Sixty-Six, in which two OC non-Human musicians captured by the Empire are forced to perform for the Emperor but resist by playing a different piece of music from what he ordered, based on what happens to the two performers at the end (not going to spoil it).

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I have a good number of stories with happy endings, too! A lot of them involve OCs, but one that involves an happy ending for an EC following from particularly angsty source material is The Rains of Scarif, in which #JynErsoLives.

8. Do you get hate on your fic?

Thankfully this has never happened to me, at least not to my knowledge.

9. Do you write smut?

Nooo. I gave it a very, very tentative try a long time ago, but it was a complete and utter no-go.

10. Do you write crossovers?

I haven’t yet, but maybe sometime I’ll try!

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No, at least not to my knowledge.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! Between the Porch and the Altar was translated into French by Yahiko: Entre le portique et l’autel. It was a prize that he offered for TheForce.net Fanfic’s Fanfic Awards one year, and it’s definitely one of the most unique ways I’ve ever had a fic recognized!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Just a few times, and the results are posted on the TheForce.net forums rather than AO3: Cupcakes for a Cupcake (with Ewok Poet) and Dinner at the Hungry Hutt (with Chyntuck). But I also had aikisenshi (TheRynJedi) contribute part of chapter 22 of Shaman, Traveler, Oracle.

14. What‘s your all-time favorite ship?

I am of course partial to those that involve OCs of mine, but in terms of established characters, perhaps Kanera, and perhaps the Frog Lady and Frog Gent? I don’t tend to think in terms of ships most of the time, though (but have nothing against those who do).

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I used to say this about The Book of Gand, but it may not actually be in that category anymore! Actually, currently nothing is in that category for me right now, but that could certainly change.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Setting descriptions! OC creation! Whimsical humor! Economy of expression! Worldbuilding! Anything involving alien cultures/traditions/ceremonial/etc.!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Action and battle scenes! Political intrigue! Characters double- and triple-crossing each other! Overly long sentences with too many clauses! Too many em dashes! Too many sentences/clauses that begin with “and” or “then”! (Linking sentences/thoughts together in general!)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

In terms of in-universe languages, when this happens within my stories I try to signal it in some other way. In terms of real-life languages: oof, I don’t know if I’m the right woman for that job, but I have immense respect people who are able to write stories in languages other than their mother tongue.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Star Wars. One sticks with what works, I guess!

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

Ah, I hate this question so much. 😁 I love them all, don’t you know! But I would say that I have a very specific soft spot for the 20K+ fics I’ve somehow managed to write: The Book of Gand and Shaman, Traveler, Oracle, just because I’m so proud of myself for managing to get through them (or, in the case of BOG, the component stories thereof, all of which are in excess of 15K words and three out of four of which are in excess of 20K).

a buzzing noise that went on and off, constantly sounded out throughout the quiet bedroom of a single, restless individual. they had slept peacefully in the night, but ever since eight o'clock, their phone has been going off nonstop. with a pillow folded behind their head, pressed over each of their ears, they heatedly glared up at the ceiling that was spotted with glow in the dark stars.

“ I swear to fuck, if that phone doesn't stop.. ” y/n mumbled to themselves, teeth gritted and jaw set. they were ready to chuck the phone at the wall, that's how irritated they were.

after five more minutes of listening to the obnoxious noise, they sprang upwards and leaped for the device; throwing the pillow across the way aggressively, in the process. snagging the phone from the bedside nightstand, y/n clicked it on and heatedly stared at the screen. once the passcode was speedily typed in, the home screen was displayed, and then the messenger app was clicked on.

“ the hell is a comma? ” paul scrunched up his nose as he stared down at the new message that popped up in the group chat, he learned it was called. he honestly didn't get the lingo of wherever they were, but he found the y/n person entertaining, so he wasn't complaining.

“ the thing with a dot that swoops down, I think. ” marko furrowed his brows as he clicked onto the part of the keyboard where the fancy symbols popped up. he clicked on the sign he was referring to, to show the blonde. “ that - the thing I used. ”

david, who was watching people that walked by and stared at their group with judgmental advances, glared at the passbyer's while taking a drag off of his cigarette. he'd be down to two sticks after the one in his mouth, finished, and he really wasn't looking forward to it. he had cash in his pockets, but by the looks of it, everything around the place they were in, ran weird. who knew if he had enough dough to buy himself some?

“ you two seriously don't know what a comma is? ” dwayne laughed to himself, while chucking pebbles at bird that had been cawing at him for the last hour. they had moved their placement to a bridge that overlooked the downtown part of the area, which was around eight miles away from where they were originally at. surprisingly enough, the sun wasn't effecting them at all. it gave their skin a tingly feel, but it didn't hurt them nor burn them to death. not to mention, they didn't feel too tired, just the slightest bit of weak. that could be from not eating, however.

“ no, ” paul bit down onto the word in a goofy tone, before throwing a glare at the brunette over his shoulder. “ not everyone went out to use a computer or typewriter in their free time, dwayne. ”

marko chuckled at the exchange between the two while taking the phone, he learned what it was, from paul's hand. he or the others have never seen such a phone before, but maybe that's just because they never really paid attention or cared. how wrong they actually were, though.

“ I'm aware. explains why you're such an airhead. ” the tanned man looked back over to the blonde, giving him a teasing smirk, only to duck when paul threw a stray brick at his head.

“ y'wanna go, vampy? cause we can go. ” now smirking, paul hopped to his feet, only to began dancing around dwayne in a predatory manner. “ betcha' don't got the balls to fight me, dipstick. ”

but he soon ate the words, because dwayne crouched, before pouncing forward and tackling paul to the ground. david shook his head at the two, a lop sided smirk on his lips. marko paid them no mind, and instead texted the groupchat; mainly talking to the person that seemed to peak his interest the most.

you weren't too fond of finding interest in someone, so easily and so fast. it's happened before in the past, and its only led to heart break and making yourself look like a fool for not getting to know someone. although things work out sometimes in those situations, they were still rare; that's why you rather get to know someone, build a friendship and then possibly move onto romance. as of lately, a relationship or even a love interest wasn't in your schedule, but for some reason this anonymous guy - or guys - in your messenger chat held your interest. mainly the one known as marko, so far.

“ this shit is weird, bry. ” you groaned, flopping back onto your mattress, causing your covers and wrangled sheets to bounce up for a split second. throwing your forearm over your eyes, stopping the annoying ceiling light from blinding you, you heaved a heavy breath of air. “ I don't know this man, or men, nor anything about any of them. I only know two of their names. not to mention, they could be in their sixties for all I know. ”

“ so you'd settle for the fifties, then? ” a rather medium pitched voice, with a feminine undertone spoke through the other end of the line; clearly distracted, but also trying ho's best to listen as his friend rambled away at what was going on in their head.

“ shut up. ” they rolled their eyes, letting a small laugh leave them as bryce cackled on the other end. “ but I'm serious.. ” licking their lips, they slid their arm away from their eyes; vision now focusing on the outside world, through their window, as they turned their head to the side. “ what am I doing? I don't even think I want a relationship at this point in time... and, like I said, I don't know them. any of them. what if they end up getting my ip address, tracking me down and draining me of every drop of blood I have in my body? ”

they heard shuffling from their friend's end, before slight static, signaling bryce moved the phone to his other ear. “ because those dumbasses claim to be vampires? ” the chestnut brown haired male scoffed. “ get real. I know you believe in that shit, but I highly doubt we just magically came across some blood suckers that turned up out of no where, and appeared into our groupchat. ”

“ but that's honestly it, ” sitting up, you raised your brows in realization. “ how did they get into the chat? you can't just join groupchat's on messenger, bry - you have to be added to them. none of us know who they are, so how the fuck did they get in it? ”

I have arrived at Tol Himling. It is a small island, barely bigger than the city of Lindon, but whatever stood here in better days, is long since gone. Under Maedhros’ banner many fell in these lands, and I am pretty sure I can still feel their fae, though that may just be a trick of my own mind.

It must be noted that, after some research, the archivists of Imladris have to note that there are no records of anyone accompanying Calenor in his adventure. In fact, after asking the few survivors that remembered Calenor, all of them said that Calenor did not bring anyone with him to Tol Himling at all. Note, as of S.A 1715: We have not found any records of anyone named Hithaer that matches Calenor’s description, in Lindon or otherwise. The only ones mentioning anyone like Calenor’s companion at all noted that Hithaer (Amdirion) was a follower of the Sons of Fëanor, and died in Himring after the Bragollach. Who Calenor’s companion truly was is unknown.

Once, in a very specific incident you saw him shirtless

you and Satan were walking home from RAD like you usually do

Suddenly it starts raining. Not a light sprinkle, like actual rain (not pouring but it's enough that you need an umbrella

Thankfully, Satan being the smart cookie that he is has an umbrella and you two share

When you guys are about half way to the HOL some demon bikes right into a puddle splashing you and getting your clothes wet

Satan takes off his jacket, putting it around your shoulders

"Are you doing okay? Did he hurt you?"

"Satan I'm fine. It's just a bit of water."

Despite what you say he proceeds to yell at the biker, and you can tell he's starting to get angry. So, like the smart person you are, you decide to distract him

"Hey Satan there's a cat!"

Turning around he finds the fact you were talking about in fact, it was a kitten. Small, grey and cold. It was hiding out behind the dumpster.

Obviously Satan wanted to take the kitten home and feed it but Lucifer already said multiple times that it's not allowed

He could sneak it but Lucifer would find out anyway

So he does the only logical thing: taking off his shirt and wrapping the kitten in it

Yes he walked home shirtless and Asmo had so many questions

Wonderlands Showtime is literally just a poly relationship. They're all dating each other

Emu introducing them to her parents: this is my boyfriend Tsukasa and this is Tsukasa's boyfriend Rui and this is Rui's girlfriend Nene who's also my girlfriend. Oh and Rui's my boyfriend as well!

And then just launches into how they met with Nene and Tsukasa looking embarrassed, Rui occasionally chiming in. I just think it would be a fun family dinner

What compelled me to do this? The fact people would read it and that I think "hey it's half decent" I mostly see this as a comedy thing tbh. Anyways this is my first time writing anything like this so bare with me. Sorry if it's ooc

Characters: Lucifer, Mammon, Levi, CW: fevers, slightly suggestive, cussing, lesson 21-22 spoilers, not proof read

★ Lucifer

Honestly there is absolutely no way you'd have this happen on accident

Fam you can try on purpose but I don't think that's going to work out since we already know Mammon tried

If you do try on purpose he's probably gonna punish you or something (a lot of you guys are kinky shits/lh so I wouldn't be surprised if you did try)

Though there was one occasion where you did see him shirtless on accident

It was during the golden hell newt syrup incident. While you were away he had been over working himself like crazy to distract himself from thinking of you. So having the syrup didn't help at all.

Dude was running a fever. He was hot af, especially in his clothes. Like, man that's a shit ton of heavy layers

Couldn't concentrate on his work thanks to his high body temp so he asks you to fetch him an ice pack

At this point he was mentally done. Over worked, over heating, golden hellfire newt syrup. His brain wasn't functioning properly

Says fuck it, and just strips. Like, takes off his coat, takes off his vest, loosens his tie and unbuttons his shirt.

And then just takes off his damn shirt.

Less than a minute later you enter the room with some human world ice coffee you made, and of course as per his request, an ice pack.

You two just stare at each for a bit out of shock. This isn't a dream right? Can't be considered that Ice pack is really cold.

After staring at each other for ten seconds Lucifer Just straight grabs the ice pack and puts it on his forehead. It's water within two minutes

"Lucifer... are you sick?" You can deduct he's obviously not doing good. His brows are furrowed and sweat is dripping off him like crazy. Then he collapsed onto you.

"I'm sorry Mc. I didn't want for you to see me like this," he manages. Still conscious, but very weak. You now get to struggle for ten minutes trying to get his 6'3, heavy, sweaty, extremely warm body onto his bed :D

Do you get to see Luci shirtless? Yeah. Did you also have a ten minute arm workout you didn't want? Yes. You got what you gave and wanted what you got. Ps he likes your iced coffee

★ Mammon

Mammon invited you to his room to help him study for his upcoming test. You were nicer than Satan or Lucifer and loads more helpful then Belphie

Forgot you were coming, thinking he had an extra thirty minutes went to go in the community bath

When you did show up, you just opened the door. It's not that knocking was a foreign concept to you, it's that it was a foreign concept to Mammon and you thought if he didn't knock to come in your room, he wouldn't mind it if you just walked right in.

You walk in and, oh no one’s here. You brush it off and think he’s probably trying to scam people or being scolded by Lucifer

Well five minutes later Mammon walks in with a towel and enter screaming from both of you.

He calls you a pervert and you respond by throwing him a shirt and jeans.

4.) Do you have any OCs? Do you have a story for them?

I've answered that one over here :D

6.) What's your ratio for rating your works?

So I mostly write gen/teen rated fics - it's not quite a 50/50 split between those since I do occasionally write M or E, but maybe a 48/47 percent split between G and T? Something like that anyway, I'm too lazy to do the exact calculations.

If it's T there's probably swearing and some violence to them, harder themes, maybe some kissing fades to black implied sex. My G rated fics might still wind up with swearing in them, but otherwise they're more likely to be of the lighter and fluffier variety. Not always, since I do enjoy leaning into angstier stuff sometimes.

I've been overly cautious with a few of my M rated fics that could probably actually be T rated, but I tend to be of a better safe than sorry mindset with those. Though the few E rated fics I've done have absolutely earned their rating.

7.) Your favourite ao3 tag.

Fix Fic/Fix-it/variations thereof. I absolutely love a good fix fic for canon ailments. :D That said, I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers too, so when I can get a combination of both? I will probably stay up reading waaaay to late as a result. Hello three AM, where did you come from?

12.) If you write in more than one language, what's the difference?

If it's not complicated and in, say, Spanish then I'll usually put the actual Spanish into the fic with a translation below in the end notes. Spanish in particular I did learn some of in high school though I admit a lot of that's faded. If what I'm trying to say is complicated enough that I don't want to risk online translators screwing it up for me (or my memory being too hazy), then I'll write it in English with something to denote it's intended to be another language. Usually italics, though too much italics can become difficult for me to read through when I go back for edits.

I'll also look up common phrases and idioms to try and throw those in where they'd work most naturally - especially when I remember to play with Hartley and Eobard's tendency to use Latin as their personal secret language.

17.) Past or present tense? Why?

Past tense tends to flow most naturally for me, though sometimes I'll slip up into present tense. I tend to mostly read books that are past tense, so that's probably why it feels more natural/flows better when I write.

21.) Can you accurately predict how long your fics are going to be? If you can, what's your secret?

If they're a one shot fic then, most of the time, they stay that way. But if the fic is longer than a one chapter fic? I'm probably not going to be able to predict very well. The shorter a fic is, the better I can guess. The longer the fic is, the more I risk having it wind up on hiatus with x/? chapters sitting there mocking me.

29.) What's the hardest thing about writing?

Keeping my focus on one idea long enough to complete it. I've got so many ideas knocking around in my brain and I want to write them all.

35.) Thoughts on writing challenges/contests.

I like participating in events like prompt weekends/week long/month long events. Or bingos. I like the self imposed challenges there of completing on time. But I'm not really into contests or gifting events. I'm not really a competitive person, I tend to find it amusing in others but exhausting when I try to be too competitive myself. It kind of sucks the fun out for me. So writing contests aren't really interesting for me to participate in for that reason.

Day 1- Appearance

Once again, this is Moxan (she/her)

Her clothes are made of a spare Organization XIII coat that she cut because it felt too restricting to her.

Her skin has been actually heavily darkened by uh *checks notes* actual darkness as a way to heal her after she got terribly sunburned by being forgotten in the Keyblade Graveyard for a bout a month.

Her hair stripes also come from the darkness she gets exposed to while traveling through Corridors Of Darkness, and they have gotten a little bit thicker over time.

Her golden eyes are, somewhat predictably, a result of holding a small piece of Xehanorts heart in her own.

Amusingly enough, Moxan suffers from body dysmorphia and basically refuses to look at herself in mirrors and such, as a result she practically is not aware of the changes that happened to her body since leaving her home-world and also because no one else her told her either.

I had fun making this, I feel like I'm a rare case that doesn't have a keykid as an oc and also Moxans story has a very intentionally limited scope, so I'm definitely going to struggle with some of these promps lol

All my ocs? I dunno anon, I have a lot of ocs. As a small numbers summary, my rogue kids ocs number at 25, my Gotham U kids number at 3, their friends and family number at 2 and this is not taking into account Black Mask’s weapons dealer and his bodyguards. I also have the Curtis family, the Tsath, and assorted Rogue family. And that’s just Batman OCs, which I’m assuming you want to know about, so I’ll list them as best I can.

Under the cut because that is over 45 OCs.

Tobias Bloom, or simply Tobi, is Mr. Bloom’s adopted son. He’s a small phytokinetic boy from South Korea and is a pretty happy and well-adjusted kid, you know, considering he’s the son of Mr. Bloom.

Dorothy Crane is Jonathan Crane’s daughter, she is also the daughter of Roxanne Sutton but she and her brother were mainly created with Jon in mind and thus it is closer to describe her as Jon’s daughter than Roxy’s. Her name is a really blatant reference to the Wizard of Oz and she takes a lot of her personality, including her snark and vindictive attitude, from Jon.

Pluto Crane is Dorothy’s younger brother. Compared to Dorothy he’s a lot more timid but a lot less vindictive. On the other hand, Pluto is a lot more prone to anger than Dorothy is, his temper is faster and like Jon’s it is violent. His name is a reference to “The Black Cat” by Edgar Allen Poe.

Ezekiel Dent, more commonly known as Zeke, is Harvey Dent’s son. At his core he is very much like his father, but he’s not well treated and has a low self-esteem and depression as a result. Zeke and Todd are a couple.

Evangeline Fries, or Eva, is the daughter of Victor and Nora Fries. While she primarily lives with Nora when she first realized she had ice powers she ran away and was found by Victor, who brought her home. Eva closely resembles Nora and Victor has, on occasion, mistakenly called her Nora when distracted.

Violet Harris is the daughter of Music Meister, and in her teens begins a job as a sidekick for Black Canary, due to them having similar meta-abilities. Violet is a natural musician, much like her father, but usually channels her energy in to ballet and violin, rather than singing.

Clover Isley is one of Pamela Isley’s plant children. Her appearance is largely based on that of Jervis Tetch and Mary Dahl, and is thus rather small and childlike in appearance. However, Clover is a rather spiteful child, and her personality is based largely on fair folk, being mischievous and full of bad ideas.

Lavender Isley is Clovers older sister, and her appearance is more closely based on Harley Quinn’s, though Lavender dyes her hair purple out of preference (Lavender lives up to her name), Lavender is much gentler compared to Clover, and a lot kinder. That said she is not without faults, and like her mother is prone to vengeful rages.

Ayah Jones is Waylon Jones’s daughter. She has a very mild form of Waylon’s condition, which surfaces in superhuman strength, reptilian eyes, and sharp teeth. Ayah is normally very cheerful, but she is fully willing to fight to defend people. Ayah is a trained boxer because she insisted on knowing how to fight.

Hunter Jones is Ayah’s older brother. He also has a form of Waylon’s condition, though along with Ayah’s symptoms he also experiences scale growths. These are located mainly on his face in spots where bone is prominent (jaw, eyebrow, cheekbones, etc), joints, and spots where the bone is very close to his skin, like along his spine. These growths are dark brownish green. Hunter is a lot calmer compared to Ayah, and can come across to some as timid or a pushover. Hunter and Leo are a couple.

Aiden Lynns is Garfield Lynns’s son. He’s pyrokinetic and is also diagnosed with autism. Aiden is normally very soft-spoken and shy, but is still very friendly. Most of the other Rogue kids like Aiden, even if they don’t like each other. He is also the youngest of the Rogue kids next to Gwen and Jeremy.

Aisling Machin is Lonnie’s only daughter and eldest child. She’s a lot more orderly than her father and is the most responsible of the three kids. She disagrees with most of her father’s views, but agrees that society needs to be reformed, largely because it creates people like Lonnie in the first place.

Maxwell Machin, or Max, is Lonnie’s older son and middle child. Lonnie is the least kind to Max, who is withdrawn and hostile towards most people as a result of Lonnie’s abuse. Max is a daredevil of sorts, and Batman has caught him in multiple illegal motorcycle races. Though hostile to most, Max is close to his siblings and protective of Niall.

Niall Machin is the youngest of Lonnie’s children, and his favorite. Niall is the closest to his father and often overlooks his poor treatment of Max because he’s treated well. He doesn’t ignore it outright, he knows Lonnie doesn’t treat Max well, but he also is willing to look the other way if it means he can keep a close relationship with Lonnie. Aisling and Max don’t like this in the slightest and think Niall is selfish, which he is, but they still care about their younger brother.

Sarah Menkel is Peter Menkel’s daughter. She’s a cheerful, friendly girl, a bit of a tomboy and an avid gymnast. Like her father she is hypermobile and a contortionist, both things she uses to freak people out. She’s much better at blowing off mean comments compared to the other Rogue kids.

Andrea Monroe is the daughter of Paige Monroe. She’s extremely optimistic, mostly in an attempt to keep her mother happy, often at the cost of her own happiness.

Eleanor Nygma, or Ellie, is the older daughter of Edward Nygma and Selina Kyle. She is a lot more like Selina in both appearance and personality, is proud to be the daughter of both. Selina is very elegant and smug.

Elizabeth Nygma, or Liz, is the younger daughter of Edward Nygma and Selina Kyle. She is very similar to Edward in appearance and personality, and similarly is just as haughty and prides her intelligence above most other attributes.

Barbara Quinzel is the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker and Todd’s twin sister. She’s nicknamed Barb and Babs by her brother Todd. Barbara is very cheerful and friendly, but shares a similar morbidity with her father. Barbara is named after and the goddaughter of Barbara Gordon.

Todd Quinzel is the son of Harley Quinn and the Joker and Barbara’s twin brother. He is cheerful and bubbly and acrobatic. Joker’s chemical damage has resulted in Todd having albinism and asthma. Todd has very bad vision and wears thick round glasses. Joker is very protective of him, as are Bud and Lou. Todd is named after and the godson of Jason Todd. Todd and Zeke are a couple.

Leon Sanchez, or Leo, is the son of Bane, he is half-Nahuatl. Bane’s venom use caused Leo to develop superhuman strength. Leo is a snarky, cynical young man, but comes off as smug and apathetic. Leo was born November 2nd, during Dia de los Muertos. Like Bane, Leo is extremely intelligent and multilingual. Leo and Hunter are a couple.

Gwendolyn Tetch, or Gwen, is the daughter of Jervis Tetch. She’s shy and quiet, often mirroring her father in manner and personality. Gwen has a meta-ability linked to mind control. Gwen is regularly assumed to be Jervis’s “Alice” but in contrast, her name is based on the White Rabbit. Gwen takes the assumption that she’s Alice as an insult.

Jeremy Todd is the youngest Rogue child and the son of Jason Todd. He is much closer to the Rogue kids than the Batfamily and considers himself part of the Rogue kids, not the Batfam. Jason doesn’t like this but the Rogue kids accept him willingly.

Cosette Walker is the daughter of Drury Walker, and splits her time between her father and her mother in France. Cosette is polite and well-mannered, and is rather flighty. She loves butterflies and birds and the color blue and singing.

Marcus Wesker is the grandson of Arnold Wesker. Because his parents abandoned him with Wesker and Scarface, Marcus grew up with a lot of verbal abuse from Scarface and ended up adopting his rude attitude as a manner of defending himself, which really only made Scarface more aggressive towards him.

Salem Jackson is a white witch from a rich family in Mississippi, and a psychology major at Gotham U. She has large black horns and interns at Arkham Asylum. Most people do not know much about her family in Gotham but there are rumors abound that she killed her parents in retaliation for being abused as a child.

Audrey Brenner is an anthropology major at Gotham U, but was born and raised in Metropolis. She prefers Superman to Batman and several rogues have taken a liking to her and protect her. Audrey works as a cashier at the gift shop of the Superman museum over breaks and deals with Lex Luthor on an almost daily basis because for some reason he has to visit the place regularly.

Valerie Spade, or Val, is a chemistry major at Gotham U and, essentially, a villain intern. She works for Penguin and he rents her out to various rogues. Val has superspeed and as a result has a boosted metabolism that means she needs to eat regularly.

Penelope Spade, or Penny, is Val’s older sister, though she has a meta-ability, she doesn’t use it often, and is an art student in Metropolis. Penny and Audrey get along and Audrey has convinced the Superman museum to commission her for their special exhibit posters.

Jack O’Reilly is Audrey’s best friend and the shift manager at the Superman museum gift shop. He goes to school in Central City and has dyed his hair green to emulate the Joker. He finds villains fascinating, which is a pretty reasonable reaction because he and Audrey attract them like flies.

Daniel Frei, or Dani, is a weapons dealer partnered with Black Mask, he is the youngest of Mask’s dealers at 19, and is part of a larger German crime family. Dani is cautious and avoids conflict with most of the Batfamily, though he has quite often flirted with both Nightwing and Red Hood.

Nathaniel Zhao, or Nate, is one of Dani’s bodyguards, he is half-Chinese and half-German. He is a chronic smoker and a survivor of severe abuse from his father. Nate regards most people rather bitterly, but after an accident where Batman lost his headset, he actually spoke to and befriended Oracle. Nate is 21.

Xavier Knight, affectionately nicknamed Xav, is Dani’s 17-year-old bodyguard. Xavier was born deaf and has severe damage to his vocal chords that prevents him from speaking without feeling pain, and instead almost always signs everything. Though he can hear due to a cochlear implant, he usually has headphones and reads lips like he did as a child. Xavier’s vocal chord damage is visible from his throat, and because he doesn’t want to ask any awkward questions about it, he covers the scars with a scarf.

Abigail Curtis is a forensics officer at GCPD and a college friend of Edward Nygma. She is vain, sarcastic, and temperamental, the latter of which is in large part due to her job. She hates Batman because he takes a large portion of her evidence for himself, but appreciates his work to clean up the crime in the city. She’s known to throw things and despite being small can take Lyle Bolton in a fight.

Jasper Curtis is Abigail’s twin brother and almost emotionally dead. As a child he was interred at Arkham due to mild depression and was psychologically tortured and experimented on by Hugo Strange. Jasper’s response was to retreat inward, his only really prominent emotions being irritation and apathy. The experiments gave Jasper the ability to remove his head without killing himself and pull his spine out of his back without losing its support. Both of these cause him chronic pain.

Melody Curtis is Jasper and Abigail’s older sister, a metahuman who can create living things from drawings. Melody doesn’t live with her siblings, but takes care of them as best she can. Melody has a personal vendetta against Hugo Strange.

Hazel Marsh is a half Tsath, half Atlantean woman best known for defending the Tsath against Atlantean purists, by killing the purists. Hazel’s Atlantean father almost never gets to see her.

Basir Mihael is the prince of the Tsath, He’s missing an eye because of the Atlantean purists, and lives in Gotham because he wants to learn how humans deal with Atlanteans. He is in a relationship with Jasper Curtis and is one of the few people who can make Jasper laugh.

Reagan Napier is the Joker’s older brother, he lives in Star City and is a bare knuckle boxer. Reagan is extremely protective of his brother and has threatened both the GCPD and Batman several times, he has also broken Lyle Bolton’s nose.

Ailish Napier is Joker’s mother. She still lives in Belfast where Joker and Reagan grew up, in their childhood home. Though she communicates with both of her sons by letter, she has avoided meeting Joker directly, a decision Joker urged her to make for her own safety.

Cinta Walker is Drury Walker’s mother, a Javanese woman who fell in love with Drury’s father, but only married him and moved to Australia with him after Drury was born. She still lives in Australia, even after Drury’s father died, but visits Drury in Gotham on occasion.

Chayton Crane is Jonathan Crane’s paternal grandfather. He didn’t know about his grandson until Jon was 19, but treats him as family nontheless. Chayton does not speak to Gerald Crane, and is furious that Gerald abandoned a child he concieved.

Ruth Crane is Jonathan Crane’s paternal grandmother. She is a very gentle, kind woman who taught Jon how to speak Crow and is very protective of her grandson. She carries a concealed firearm and has threatened Batman with a shotgun.

Leigh Crane is Jonathan Crane’s closest cousin, being about 15. Leigh is a nervous, shy girl and though she has been to Gotham to visit her cousin, clung to Jon the whole time and refused to leave him for a moment. Jon is very protective of her.

Lyndon Keeny is Jonathan Crane’s great great uncle and Marion Keeny’s younger brother, though he is almost 100 he looks about 23 because he has been in the Lazarus Pit. Lyndon is good friends with R’as al Ghul and is brave to the point of utter stupidity. For instance, he steals from Vandal Savage, regularly, for fun.

Lucio Kyle is Selina Kyle’s younger brother. He is a grad student at Gotham U, where he studies forensics. He is also Abigail’s current intern.

Vaite is Garfield Lynns’s childhood best friend, a young Maori boy. He is a cheerful, friendly young man and is still on very good terms with Garfield.

No body asked but here are some fics I keep my eye on for updates in Quotev.

Ngl, most books in Wattpad are... Not reaching up to my standards, so Quotev is my reliable fanfic website other than Tumblr. I could go for Ao3 but I usually read 'reader insert' shit so, if you're just as bored as I am, read these.

The Worst In Me, For You - Right off the bat, one of my favorite fics that's ongoing In Quotev. It's a Kokushibou x (Demon) Reader fanfic that, from my understanding, starts off the mundane life of the reader with Kokushibou sometimes tagging along. Given it's Koku, I have a feeling its slow burn. So far it has 4 chapters, but still pretty long. Give it a read if you like Koku.

s e r e i n - Honestly? I've been waiting for it to update for a while now, because I'm in love with the idea of the book, and it doesn't immediately make characters fall in love with the Reader just because Reader has multiple love interests. The Reader is a male god, and the fic is gonna go through a bit of canon divergence at some point. One of the best reads I've had! Also it includes Sabito :) So far it has 47 chapters.

masquerade - This one is very interesting, to say the least, in a very positive way. I absolutely enjoy the formatting and aesthetic of the fic has! It features a male, Demon Reader that basically joins in on Tanjiro's adventure! So far it has 8 chapters.

Ethereum - This fic is an isekai fic that I actually enjoy! It's different than the others I've read, which is refreshing, and it's very enjoyable to read. I love the mc's character as a whole and I'm very excited for her development. The mc's name is Sakiya Aikawa, she's cool as fuck. So far it has 22 chapters.

Moonglade - I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR IT TO UPDATE FOR A WHILE NOW, BUT THIS BOOK IS REALLY GOOD. Top tier shit, I tell you. It sets before Demon Slayer took place, and it features a lot of OCs who has interesting personalities, abilities and backgrounds! I adore where the plot is leading to! This fic is the most I'm excited about!! It's a Reader insert btw. So far it has 10, very long chapters. Worth to read!

Lucky - Another God!Reader! This one is very goofy, which balances the seriousness Demon Slayer brings. Reader is very into rock, I like that about her :) So far it has 9 chapters, titled like Percy Jackson titles hehe!

Serendipity - THIS IS ONE IS FAIRLY NEW BUT OMG I'M ALREADY IN LOVE WITH IT!! It features a Ubuyashiki!Reader, I'm so excited for it to update 🥺!! IT ONLY HAS 3 CHAPTERS FOR NOW SO I CAN'T SAY MUCH, BUT IT'S REALLY GOOD!!

Aniki - SAME AUTHOR WITH SERENDIPITY, I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THIS ONE AS WELL. Like, it's published a week ago and I'm so excited eeeeee!! This writer is really good so please check it out. It features a Reader that's from the Kamado family, but looks identical to Yoriichi! THE POSSIBILITIES, AMIRTE?? Do you see why I'm really excited to read it? Plus the fact it's very well written, in my opinion. So far it only has 2 chapters!

Regarding tags on your previous ask about writing advice, so the whole point of Amell is just to be a good romance option for Anders?? Or just someone who wouldn't call him a monster?

Oh no what have you done why are you asking me about my OCs quick get out while you-

I guess it depends on what you consider a good romance option, but at this point if Amell isn't your cup of tea I respect that you made it through a million words of Anders whim-whamming over him and must warn you you may have a bad time with the rest of the story. I am primarily motivated by spite, so Hawke's line in DAI about Anders being a monster was a big motivator in writing AO, but there are a lot of things I wanted his character to get across. He's more or less a narrative tool for the following:

Amell's idolization of Anders is supposed to be a parallel of Anders' idolization of mages. As opposed to Anders' unwavering belief in the goodness of all mages, Amell has an unwavering belief in the goodness of Anders.

He's also supposed to be an example of a mage who Anders can actually convince with his manifesto. In most games, the approval system is based around the PC persuading their companions, instead of companions persuading the PC, which is something I wanted to explore happening since Anders is the MC here.

I like the idea of a rivaled Anders convincing Hawke, instead of the other way around, but as that doesn't (completely) happen in AO, Anders convinces Amell instead. (Helping Starkhaven's Circle by supporting the Harimanns and trying to start a new Circle in Orzammar.) Themes of influence/persuasion/corruption are (hopefully) a big part of the overarching story given that it's about blood mages.

Since a big factor in writing AO was rectifying Anders use of blood magic in Awakening, Amell had to be someone who would utilize it, and could convince Anders to utilize it as well. A lot of him is built around him 1. Being a romance option for Anders 2. Being a blood mage 3. Being someone Anders could persuade.

(The ability to resurrect Rowland in the beginning of Awakening is something I always felt deserved a response from your companions, as well, so much of Amell's questionable morality came about as a result of this scene in Chapter Two. Who would do that? Amell, apparently.)

The current arc is supposed to talk a lot about the idea of the few for the many/the greater good/sacrifice/how far is someone willing to go for a cause, so Amell had to do something fairly horrendous to create that conversation, hence the use of golems. While Anders/Justice still don't agree with that decision, it should be fairly apparent why that conversation is happening now that we're arguably on the Fifth Book/Act of the story.

Book 1: 1-46

Book 2: 47 - 81

Book 3: 81 - 114

Book 4: 115 - 154

Book 5: 155 - Present

That's said, circling back to the idea of Anders/Justice being good, Amell originally convinced Anders blood magic isn't evil, and was meant to be something of a corrupting influence. Anders on the other hand is supposed to be a redeeming one in convincing Amell that inaction - in the face of evil that came about as a result of his choices - is evil.

Amell is not supposed to be a good person. He's morally questionable at best, but as was hopefully shown in this arc, is capable of being persuaded (compelled?) to be a better person if Anders is the one asking.

He's also an exploration of the trauma that results from both the Circle and the Blight, as I don't believe that anyone would come out of either of those things at 18-20 unscathed, hence the drug addiction, lack of emotion, skewed moral compass, depression/suicidal tendencies/etc. Someone who can match Anders in a lot of ways re: trauma and intensity.

He basically does not exist without Anders and was created for Anders/Accursed Ones, so recent forays into his character with Darkness are fun/entertaining for me because Anders is like 90% of Amell's impulse control so life without him is always interesting.

WIP Wednessday

@heavensenthale tagged me in WIP Wednesday, and though I am also already in Out of Touch Thursday, Lets do this! :D

I have two WIP examples (out of a folder of like 30+ other WIPS ^^;) I came up with a writing challenge for myself back over the summer that I still haven’t committed much time to, but really would like to carve out the time to do it.

I made a list of 50 tropes, 50 first sentences, and 50 (mainly wlw) ships that I can throw into a random number generator and get something like:

The point of the writing challenge would be to limit myself to one shots based off of the ideas and really focus on/ skill hone the ability to just sit down and put words to paper.

Ideally, with the 50-50-50 challenge, I wanted to try and do a fic or 2 a month. And maybe get to a point where I could do 2-3 one shots a month. And by the end of a year or so get a lot more comfortable getting an idea and writing it… (FYI I have done 0 of these since August when I made up the prompts)

Rather than my current process which is, get an idea > world build a much more elaborate story around it > make an outline > make character bios for main cast > probably make a couple OCs to throw in there too > make a playlist of songs that match certain outlined chapters > daydream vividly to music and constantly tweak outlines and bios > pic a random chapter to flesh out > Pic another sounding chapter to flesh out > get suck on trying to connect chapters to main story arc > …. > go back to tweaking out lines and daydreaming to music playlists…. > repeat last two steps often… > never make progress on main story. > omg wait I have a new wip idea! > rinse and repeat til the end of time.

So I’d like to work on one shots for a while and work my way up to more in-depth fics….But I’ve been saying that for months now and have only gotten thus far with the above generated prompt:

It always happened at dusk, just as the sun was beginning to set, just as it had every evening that Dorthea had spent in Brigid this far. The song would start with one of the Elders. Wherever they happened to be in the village square, whenever they deemed the sun low enough, one would let out melodious yell, a long winded prayer in their old language that was sung in a single breath and changed pitch as it was executed.

It was a tune that spoke to the songstress within Dorthea. She finished her street shopping, handing over the twice the fee the vendor had had originally asked for with a slight bow, and waved off the vendor offering to make change. She placed a swatch of brightly ornamented fabric in her woven basket and stepped slightly to the side. Moving herself out of the street as Brigidians spilled into the roads, walking away from their tents and storefronts. The Vendor she paid gave Dorthea a large smile and patted her hand as they made their way past her and into the street, harmonizing with the singing Elder as he reached the end of the prayer. When the Elder ran out of breath and the prayer completed, is when the dancing broke out. The people in the streets whooped and clasped hands with their nearest relation.

Emerald eyes scanned the sea of dancing villagers for her Fiancée, her only relation on the island.

Femslah February is coming up so I’d like to finish the above fic and maybe also try to finish a second generated prompt… I should totally work on this goal… or any of my other WIPs…

OR, I could do an outline, and character bios for a Zelda fic Idea that hit me in the face this past Tuesday and is something along the lines of:

AU Sheik and Gan both have had arranged marriages since birth. But those aren’t the names on their respective marriage contracts.

Due to an old treaty that was written at the end the last great Triforce War, the next Gerudo male would have to marry the current Zelda (the Hylian name given to all woman in the royal line).

150 years after the conclusion of the Great Triforce War, Gan(ondorf) finds herself in a pinch when she is technically betrothed to 7 Zelda’s including the sitting widowed Hylian Queen. None of whom are the Sheikah Ninja who stole her heart the day she set foot in Hyrule with the purpose of choosing a Zelda bride.
