despite that, he does his chores and he expects you to do yours as well - he's a very fair novelist. even if he's busy with different manuscripts or worshipping miku, he would do it all without missing a day

he's relatively good at cooking - not restaurant quality but certainly not burn water somehow, even though he thinks the peak of his culinary career is microwaving a 2-day old burger (it's really not that bad)

LUCA KANESHIRO

he's just really clean ??? like there's literally no issue with being his roomie except maybe the rare intruder cases or the odd packages he buys (he once bought a cardboard cutout of a political politician for a meme and you guys had to eat with it for at least 2 weeks before he begrudgingly throws it out)

at the end of the day, luca's still the big boss for a mafia family, so it really isn't a surprise to be carrying at least some kind of weapon around the house

lots of large dinners with friends, mafia members, etc. but dinners with just you and luca are both calming and entertaining - he's the kind to just spill everything that has happened in the day if he stepped out of your shared home

outside of cleaning (he insists on doing the cleaning and even does so without telling you - sometimes you would wake up and the house would be sparkling), you guys would always play something like rock-paper-scissors to decide who does what set of chores; in a sense, one of the fairest people to split household duties with

he actually does try to do all the chores - partly because he wants to get better at it and partly so that he could prove to everyone he's capable of taking care of another living being (aka you) ; on multiple occasions when you said you were cleaning, he's like 'DON'T WORRY BABE I GOT THIS'

he's managed to turn the place into a bubble bath once when doing the laundry - you had soap everywhere for at least a week

the kind to randomly invite you to watch something with him - i'd like to think he watches whatever is on and uses it as an excuse to fall asleep on you and use you as a pillow (but he's warm, so it's like having a blanket for you too)

SHU YAMINO

the best out of all of the members because he's clean, efficent and requires the least amount of care (as far as chores and other daily things go)

why am i talking about him like he's some sort of housepet - idk???? but he's really independent, you don't really have to worry too much about household stuff

he's still very loving and affectionate - the kind to split chores but would still do yours if asked (reasonably at least)

ok the one downside to rooming with shu is that sometimes he would make very practical but impulsive purchases - sometimes, you would wonder if you were the one who impulsively bought something like a toilet seat warmer (for my winter toilet seat dislikers LMAO), but then you would see the package reciever's name

VOX AKUMA

you guys definitely split cooking duties ; even if you are a kitchen disaster, vox would love to eat any and all of your creations

despite being culinary geniuses, vox orders a LOT of take out to the point it became a tradition between you guys to find a new restaurant/take-out place at 3 am to order from

he's pretty solid with the advice too; if you're having a bad day with school/work/whatever or you had an argument with someone you're close to, he's the kind of roomie that would immediately help you cheer up in some way or another

the only issue you would have with vox is maybe he'll get the occasional fanmail in your letter box or gift standing at your door and you would always wonder - where do these come from and why are they addressed to him? he's a mysterious guy after all and he doesn't share too much about himself and often teases you when you ask about him (unless he's like... drunk or something, they do say drunkards say the truth after all)

bokuto koutarou

- outside of volleyball, bokuto is honestly super clumsy as well. he gets cuts and bruises everywhere, but he never really knows where they came from

- when he first met you, you were walking down the halls and into the classroom when suddenly splat — you fell face flat onto the floor

- and bokuto, being the sweetie that he is, tries to runs over in worry to check if you’re ok

- somehow, he manages to trip over his own two feet as well

- the two of you end up being sent to the infirmary together, and you eventually get together

- it’s always interesting when people ask you about your first meeting with kou

- honestly, bokuto isn’t even phased by his injuries most of the time. but when he sees you wounded, it’s a whole nother story

- he’ll tear up just the slightest and he’ll attempt to send you to the infirmary even for the mildest of wounds

- bokuto’s tried to help by patching you up but unfortunately his handiwork isn’t all that great. although, it’s the thought that counts and just by looking at his earnest attempts is enough

- honestly, its kind of endearing to see him act like this because it really shows how much he cares

yamaguchi tadashi

- yamaguchi is such a sweet, sweet darling and i can totally picture him falling for a clumsy girl.

- he’d get all flustered and worried when you come to him yet again with scrapes on your knees and elbows, but he’ll always patch them up for you like the good boyfriend that he is

- it started when he first noticed that you always had small injuries here and there, whether it’d be a bruise on your shin or a cut on your hand

- when the two of you become acquainted, he’ll start to show his concern verbally, and you would just reassure him that you had two left feet and it was no big deal

- however, when the two of you get together though, thats when his worries will heighten. he can’t help but feel his heart ache a little every time you approach him with another injury.

- always gently runs his fingers over your wounds and kisses them better (you swear that it actually works and the pain almost always subsides quicker)

- he really dotes on you when you’re injured, and even when you reassure him that its just a minor wound he can’t help but worry about you :(( he doesn’t ever want you to feel pain ok

miya atsumu

- alright, this is gonna be controversial but hear me out: atsumu

- he may be a little shit and he most definitely will laugh at you every time your clumsy ass injures yourself but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care

- atsumu might make some snarky comment about how he just doesn’t understand how someone could be so clumsy but his actions say otherwise

- as your childhood friend, he’s known your injury-prone habit for years. when the two of you were young, he never really showed that much affection when you injured yourself on accident. however, this all changed when you two started dating

- he’ll never admit it, but the reason why he clings to you so much is because he’s concerned that, quote atsumu, “you’re dumbass is gonna get yourself hurt.”

- and somehow, atsumu has first aid items everywhere he goes now? how convenient. he always denies that he brought it specifically for you, though, despite the fact that he always carries the fun, picture themed ones that you like so much

- he’ll piggyback you home if you ever get a scrape on your legs without a single complaint

- that being said, nothing will ever stop him from laughing at you

- but shhh we all know that it’s all an act to keep up his snarky exterior

Good evening (or day) to you anon! Let me say first off how touching it was to see this message pop up earlier on! I know my activity has been spotty as hell lately, with inspiration being flaky and my attention span even more so--so it really is encouraging to hear that the little I've managed to do in the past couple of months is still well received.

From reading your message it seems like you have a great handle on writing and vocabulary, but I also know that English really can be a bastard of a language whenever it deviates from the standard. So I can only commend your commitment to gaining even more understanding.

So to answer your question, under the cut are some of the authors/works that have influenced me most. I’ve not really had a chance to make my way through my huge reading list, or read much for a couple years now, so I’ll just mention some of the ones that really stuck in my mind:

Darren Shan 

I really must start with Darren Shan, because for a teen author his descriptions of monsters and violence still are some of the most viscerally gross and visual I've ever read. So you can imagine what it was like reading him as a 9/10 year old! I don't get to show it very often on Jiraiya, but I really do love to write a bit of nasty gore where I can. This probably shows more when I'm writing certain toad stomach themed jutsu scenes... but yeah. This author really inspired me as a kid, and fantasy-horror for young adults is still a genre I'd love to write one day (if I ever come up with a solid original idea, that is)! Which leads me on to--

Stephen King

Who, honestly, I haven't really kept up to date with. The novels I read by him were his classics: Carrie, Misery, Pet Sematary... which I think were all written before I was born, now that I think about it. I know he can be a little long-winded for some, but I really appreciate how he builds up tension and works with multiple threads at a time. His are some of the few books that actually made me scared in my teens, his psychological horror is great, and he doesn’t shy away from a sex scene, even if they’re usually horrible. I always love an author who goes into nitty-gritty, not necessarily pleasant detail.

J.R.R.R.R.R.R.R.R.R.R. Tolkien

A predictable one, I'm sure! But I've definitely drawn influence from the sheer world-building of Middle Earth, which has inspired worlds for my own OCs, but in regards to fandom has made me want to delve a little deeper into areas the canon leaves unexplained (it really is my goal to one day fill in all the blanks in Jiraiya's life, working with what little we were given and the messy timeline). And while Tolkien's characters can be a little wooden and overly functional at times, the true joy I find in his works is the sprawling descriptions of nature and the world, and how well-linked all of the characters/figures of the past are to each other. Also I feel it's an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely adore the songs/poems. Every one of them. Especially 'The Ent and the Entwife'.

Richard Adams

Most known for Watership Down, and his style again contains lots of beautiful nature imagery (with a very strong environmentalist lean). It's a pretty traumatic story, as anyone who has seen the animated film from the late 70's will recall, but what the book offers on top of that is a whole mythology that the animals believe in, world-building, animal characters that are both intelligent and believably still animals, gorgeous descriptions of the English countryside... yeah. It's one of my all time favourites! I’ve yet to bring myself to read The Plague Dogs, however, because I know it will upset me a whole lot.

Whoever the hell wrote 'The Soddit' and 'Bored of the Rings'

Yes, seriously. I'm a sucker for a good spoof, and these made me laugh out loud. I recall many terrible euphemisms. Not to be read with a critical mind whatsoever :’) they are kinda trash, but I really enjoy content that doesn’t take itself very seriously.

Terry Pratchett

Count this as a relatively new inspiration--I'm an absolute newbie when it comes to Pratchett, if I'm honest, which is ridiculous because it’s right up my alley. I’ve only fully read Good Omens (with Neil Gaiman), read halfway through a few of the standalone Discworlds, and watched several of the animated and BBC series adaptations, but I’m definitely inspired. It's just really daunting to know where to start with the main body of Discworld in particular. But I think after spending my childhood enjoying comedic fantasy in general (I also thank the Fable trilogy of games for that), it was only natural that I found his tongue-in-cheek, conversational to the point of being mundane, playing with tropes style a perfect fit for me. All of that, with some pretty immense world-building in too! It’s great to see such a loved world that is written in such a light, funny way (from what I’ve read), especially since I do my best to let humour inject itself into my writing wherever possible.

Oscar Wilde

And more specifically, The Picture of Dorian Gray. This is just peak gothic sexy decadence, I assure you. And it's one of my all time favourites... again, for gorgeous descriptions, but it's more sensory than physical. And of course, high-key gay subtext. And did I mention it's sexy? Not in the obvious way, just in a 'this level of indulgent description of luxuries and hedonism is downright slutty' kind of way. If you want obvious sexy though, definitely check out the film starring Ben Barnes too!

Anaïs Nin

Ok look, so in answer to one of your other questions, I do indeed read fanfic. Not as much now as I used to or would like to, but I certainly do. And Anaïs Nin is one of the few well known erotic writers I’ve read that I think is better than the best fanfiction stuff I’ve read. Because honestly, lots of them are dudes (sorry Jiraiya) and it’s just... nah. I’ve always thought that the erotic writing in decent fanfic tended to be high tier for somebody not paid to do it. Anyway, when it comes to Nin the writing is beautifully sensual, but I’ll warn you for questionable content at times--and I mean triggering content. I think that a lot of her erotic short stories were commissioned by others, so I don’t judge her, but there is also a lot of symbolism within the taboo so... that’s my warning about that.

John Keats

Time for a poet, and one of my favourites is this guy. Pretty much covering the Romantic/Gothic cusp, all the poems I remember reading by him were long, indulgent, sensual and low-key filthy. I can’t really say much other than read Keats! ‘Isabella, or the Pot of Basil’ is a favourite!

Seamus Heaney

My favourites are ‘Death Of a Naturalist’ and ‘Blackberry-Picking’. Get that gross, kinda visceral nature imagery. Nice.

Wilfred Owen

Mostly studied him in college, which I enjoyed a lot, but I ended up revisiting his war poetry when I started writing Jiraiya. Something about the way he questions patriotism and feels for the ‘enemy’ related a lot to him for me, and the poems themselves are so tragic they really spark up your empathy.

... As for songwriters? Hmm. Lyrically, I always enjoy pretty gloomy stuff. Nick Cave, The Cure, Placebo, Depeche Mode. A lot of it very spooky and sad-romantic. I definitely have a type :’) a definite favourite is also Björk, both for her surreal lyrics, and the crazy stuff she can do with her voice also helps!

I’m honestly struggling to think of more off the top of my head, because I know I have read and enjoyed more books/poetry than this. Sadly I’ve been too preoccupied with other things to branch out into more world literature, but it’s something I want to make an effort to do--especially Chinese and Japanese literature, some of which are on my current book pile. But these are some of the few that came straight to mind for me, and are probably my biggest influences. Hope you enjoyed my lengthy rambling nonetheless. Favorite Manga/Anime

Kay, so If I'm gonna start posting stuff onto here, guess I gotta do some journaling kinda stuff.(It is a blog after all) Alrightly then, guess I'll start off with something relevant to the original content I will frequently post, Manga/Anime. There will be a lot that I love that aren't on here, but these are my personal favorites.(LONG BLOG I AM SORRY)

Top Anime:

Honorable mention - Amon - The Apocalypse of Devilman OVA - Kay so I'll be the first to admit, I'm a total edgelord.(one of my bands is a death metal band) and this one is GORY!! It's depressing, messed up, dark. It deviates from the Manga storyline but I always go back to it, plus that ending OST is amazing.

10.)Monster Musume - I probably should be extremely embarrassed about liking this one...but I'm not, it's amazing. Perverted? Yes. Weird? very. So much weird T&A action goin on that it's nauseating at times? oh my god yes. That being said, IT'S HILARIOUS!!!

9.) Pop Team Epic - Ever wondered what it's like in hell? This show. This show is literally meme hell, to the point where you lose brain cells if you watch it too long. It's great. I recommend it, after watching a decent chunk I wanted to scoop out my eyeballs and play tennis with them. That may sound like a bad thing, but trust me, it's an amazing feeling.

8.) My Hero Academia - Kay, so I'm not caught up on this one, buuuuut it's motivational as hell. I don't think I've ever rooted for a protagonist to win at something more than I've rooted for Deku. The popularity of the show speaks for itself but, damn, what an awesome underdog show.

7.) Jojo's Bizzare Adventure - SONO CHI NO SADAME!!! JOOOOOOOOOJOOOO!!! I still need to catch up on this one too but I love this wacky, music reference filled, insane show. I doubt I can really say much that hasn't been said already bout it. So on that note ORAORAORAORAORAORAORARARA

6.) Noir - Highly underrated anime. Bout two female assassins, one played by Monica Rial. Refreshingly dark and realistic, this awesome tale is set in France and is haunting, to the point of where I still come back to it after years and years of watching it. Quality anime that has slipped under most people's radar.

5.) Mirai Nikki - I said I was an Edgelord, right? Think this one cements that status. Home of the best Yandere in all of anime, I doubt I need to sing it's praises. Yuno Gasai is a well known character for a reason. Love this insane series.

4.) My Bride is a Mermaid - I'll admit, when I first saw this on Netflix and began watching it out of boredom, I didn't think I would like it. Matter of fact, I was sure I would hate it. I don't typically like cutesy things, edgelord here, I despise things that are cute and cuddly (Cept for cats). But HOOOOLY HELL this one was funny. Best part is? It doesn't rely on pervy imagery to be hilarious, it is humor at its purest. Comedy anime at its finest.

3.) Samurai Champloo - Sa-sa-sa-samurai champloo! Woooo where do I begin? Three misfits, Edo period Japan, Hip-hop related adventures, and badass fight secenes? Count me in! Made by the same people who made Cowboy Bebop, even has Steve Blum voicing Mugen, so you know it's good.

2.) Saikano - Kay so don't judge an anime by its art style. I repeat: NEVER judge an anime by its art style. This one is cheesy, yes, and the English Dub is horrible. THAT BEING SAID, it really does not go where you would expect it to go and one scene in particular had me shedding...manly...tears-It's sad, ok?! That character didn't deserve that death scene!!!

1.) Neon Genesis Evangelion - Ahhhhh yes. The creme de la creme of #toodeepforyou. Highly intellectual and artistic, this DIY amalgamation of a series hits many notes for me and came to me at a time where I needed it most. It's slow but if you allow yourself to be patient and analyze what is at first appearance a confusing, psychedelic nightmare, you'll find yourself in for a treat. Best part of the series for me? The movie End of Evangelion. You watch the series, you have to watch the movie. End of discussion.

3.)Inuyasha - The original Manga that got me into anime/manga. Rumiko Takahashi's work is very near and dear to my heart. I just remember the feeling of reading these for the first time in Middle School, I don't think I knew manga could be this cool when I firt started. The demons were legit terrifying, you couldn't help but root for Inuyasha and Kagome. Mindblowing stuff for an 11 year old.

2.)Berserk - Probably the one manga I still retroactively read. Dear god, it's excellent. The story, the fantastic art, superb writing and character development. There is a reason I want to get the Brand of the Sacrifice Tattooed on my neck. Guts is arguably one of the most sympathetic anti-heroes ever written. This is another series that really entered my life at the right time. No matter what terrible things happen to Guts. He lives on, he fights through his literal demons everyday. Above anything else, he carries on. Will forewarn anybody hoping to check it out though, extreme depictions of violence and sexual violence. Series is not for the faint of heart AT ALL.

1.)Ranma 1/2 - Ahhhh Ranma 1/2. My absolute favorite. Every time I sit down and read this manga, I find myself genuinely laughing from one of the panels. In my opinion, Rumiko Takahashi's best work. It is an absolute comedy masterpiece. Pure craziness and absurdity. 10/10.

You were a child when it started, you’d notice grease on your skin and dirt under your nails. You were too young to know what was going on but when you asked your parents, they told you not to worry about it. You were always asked by your teachers what you had gotten into and to wash your hands. When you turned 13, you and your friends decided to research what exactly was wrong with you when you found a book on soulmates. Your friend explained to you that some people had special connections and that due to said connection marks on your skin would show up on your soulmate’s and vice versa.

“Damn you’re lucky” one of your friends, Jane, commented as you looked at the small burn that had appeared on your skin the other day

“Are you kidding that is, like, the worst thing ever,” Leah exclaimed, “now she has to get married and like, have kids!”

“I’m sure he’s great,” Mads commented

“Whoever he is he needs to learn what soap is,” you joked.

“Maybe it’s time for a little revenge,” Jane smirked pulling out a sharpie

“Oh you’re evil,” you giggled as the girls drew all over your body. Some doodles were good, like the amazing portrait of Yoda that took over your shoulder. Others were crudely drawn dicks in various places or innuendos.

Little did you know that the poor boy that was fortunate enough to be your soulmate had a very important meeting at MIT the next day to see if he could get into the school early. Tony walked into the living room in search of his mother, there was no way that Howard would take this well. Unfortunately for him both of his parents were sat at the table eating breakfast.

“What the hell is all over your skin!’ he father yelled “Do you know how important this meeting is? Are you trying to ruin your life?”

“I swear I have no idea how this happened,” the boy tried to explain “I went to bed and when I woke up they were just there.”

Howard looked at his son in disbelief as his wife looked at him “Maybe he has a soulmate?”

“You know how rare that is,” Howard said looking down at her

“Well it happened to us,” she shrugged

“Wash up as best you can and put on a nice suit or something to cover that up,” The boy’s father sighed “we’ll figure out something for whatever is on your hands.”

Tony walked down the stairs in his best suit hoping that it would compensate for the doodles covering his hands.

His mother held out a bottle of concealer “This should do the trick” she smiled as she blotted it to his skin. Tony just hoped it would hold up long enough.

He must’ve done something right because here he was a few weeks later at MIT a new sleeve of doodles covering his forearms. His parents had explained to him that he had a soulmate which meant somewhere in the world some girl was lucky enough to call him hers. It wasn’t long before he was trying to flirt with you, writing little messages on his arm and waiting for a response. It was a few weeks before you responded with a simple “Fuck off” scrolled in beautiful calligraphy.

You would try to find out as much about each other as you could without breaking whatever rules there were. It wasn’t long before you were getting questions from your fellow classmates as to why there were notes written all over your arms. It’s not like they had seemed to think of you with the lack of letters written on your arm.

It wasn’t until you had been recruited to work in the lab for the Avengers that you began to think of the mystery man again. You noticed that as you’d jot down notes on your hands, you’d see little doodles around them that you hadn’t drawn.

“What are you doing?” Bruce had asked you as he watched you doodle on your forearm

“Nothing’ you replied continuing to scroll out a “hey” on your arm in the fanciest font you could think of

“Doesn’t look like nothing,” your friend said watching you “you have a soulmate don’t you?”

“Maybe,” you smirked, “don’t tell anyone though, I don’t need people to hate me.”

“And you trust me with this information why?” he asked

“Because you’re too nice to hate me,” you responded, “besides you’d have to deal with Tony on your own if you did.”

“Speak of the devil,” Bruce muttered as Tony waltzed through the door in a long sleeved tee.

“You look happy,” you commented, “how much alcohol have you consumed this fine morning?”

“None thank you very much,” the man shot back “I just got a very important letter from a very important person regarding some very important things.”

“Care to share with the rest of the class?” you asked raising your brows

“Nope,” Tony said turning to Bruce “we’re going to lunch I need to talk to you.”

“But science?” Bruce attempted to argue

“Your work can wait this is important.” and with that Tony was dragging the man out of the lab.

“See,” Tony said pulling up his sleeve excitedly

“I see,” Bruce said hiding a smile the word 'hey' was written out beautifully on his friend's forearm, just like the one you were drawing back at the lab.

“She hasn’t written to me in ages,” Tony said smiling at his arm “what do I say back?”

“Why not a simple hi?” his friend replied

“Hi?’ Tony questioned “Hi. This is why you don’t have a girlfriend.”

“Then why did you come to me?” Bruce asked

“Because you’re my bro” Tony smiled

Bruce sighed “Just talk to her. Say anything if she’s your soulmate does it really matter?”

“Of course it matters” Tony rolled his eyes

“She was pretty much born to love you, Tony. She’s dealt with you this long I’m sure you could say anything to her, and she’d be happy to write back.” Bruce assured him

“Fine,” Tony said taking out a pen and writing out a measly ‘hi.’

‘What are you up to’ she wrote back

‘Lunch with a friend’ he replied

‘I could use some food lol’ her handwriting seemed familiar, but he dismissed his thoughts, he had been writing to her since she was a teen so of course, he recognized the writing

‘I’d bring you some, but I still have no idea who you are’ he wrote down

“Really,” Bruce commented

“I thought you said it didn't matter what I wrote,” Tony exclaimed as his friend rolled his eyes

‘I’d tell you if I could’ she replied ‘these rules are stupid how are we ever supposed to meet if we can’t even set up a date.’

Tony chuckled ‘the world is cruel.’

‘You can say that again.’

You were clutching your hand when Tony walked back into the lab after lunch.

“What’d you do this time?” Bruce asked going over to examine your hand

“It’s just a small burn,” you said

“Huh, Tony come here,” Bruce commented “look at this,”

“Looks like a burn,” Tony said casually

“Looks like your burn,” Bruce said

“I don’t-” Tony paused noticing a small burn forming on his finger “you’re-we’re.”

“Soulmates?” you looked up at Tony pulling up your sleeve as he did the same. The conversation from earlier was still present on both of your arms

Tony looked at Bruce “how in the hell did you know before I did?”

“I saw her writing on her arm,” Bruce shrugged “good thing Y/n already likes you.”

You’re face flushed “I do not,” you said “I mean- I- I hate you” you scowled at Bruce

Polyphony. Some weird symbolism or magic/magic realism AU. Referencing to Virginia Woolf in some ways or some other writer I love. Food porn. Hurt/comfort. If not an AU, then it’s as close to the canon as possible.

2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

Hmmm. Ohh, I want to write a soulmate AU once! While also completely subversing it because that’s how I roll.

3. Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?

Idk, most erotic stuff? Though it’s very unlikely that I’ll ever write anything explicit in general.

7. Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

I almost posted a snippet from an original work then I remembered this is for fics. Hm. This is so hard, I don’t really have special pieces from my fics.

Hungarian:

Ok so this might not be very special from a style perspective, but it’s a part from my longish Lucissa fic (which is a fic I’m proud of anyway) and this is about how Druella sees her adult daughters in their marriages, and I kinda think a lot about the last sentence (”Only Narcissa became happy, because all youngest daughters were destined to happiness.”). I am the eldest of three sisters, and I hope it’s true.

‘Do you livealone?’ Nico asked because he felt like he will drown if he doesn’t dosomething.

‘Well, I heardyou have microorganisms on your eyelashes, so you are never really alone. Plus,you know, all these conspiracy theories. Not even I know if I live alone ornot.’ Leo grinned at him.

‘Are you awareof sharing your home with another human being?’ Nico sighed. This guy wasimpossible to talk with.

‘Well, you’vejust informed me. Thanks. Who is it? I hope they are not psychopaths, because Idon’t know what psychos like to eat.’

I probably quote this every once in a while, and I’m always reminded that I NEED TO FINISH THIS FIC!!!! This is from my hitchhiker AU Leo/Nico fic, and I think it’s funny and captures the characters interactions… It’s very hard to write their banter though, but when I can get it right I’m very proud of the result.

16. If you only could write one pairing for the rest of your life, which pairing would it be?

This is a horrible question. ._. I think most of my Hungarian fics are of different pairings, mainly because I like to write to this one Hungarian rarepair challenge (HP fandom) and it’s interesting to write about different people every time. Also, as I found out last year, it’s incredibly hard for me to write femslash in HP, mainly because I don’t really care for any HP fem ships…

Also, in general, my interests change kinda fast. I could say Drarry, but tbh if I could only write fics about one pairing, I’d probably quit writing fics and just write original stuff.

Also not all my fics are shippy and usually even my shippy fics are more gen? If I could only write about one character for the rest of my life, it would be Regulus Black, because there’s a lot to explore about that boy.

17. Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

I work mostly linearly, but if I get stuck I might jump to the next scene and edit it together later. Brackets are so useful. But I like to work linearly, the way the story unfolds itself. Also I might write out complete dialogues while I plan longer stories. They sometimes doesn’t make it into the finished fic, but that’s fine.

18. Do you use any tools, like worksheets or outlines?

OUTLINES. For longer stuff. I must, I like to explore several characters and make them move the plot, I forget a lot, and also I’m very indecisive about fixing plot points and outlines help a lot with that.

Of course I’m not afraid to deviate from them, but they help so much with everything I want to write. I should outline a lot more, I’d write more………. Outlines are like undersketches for complete drawings.

I have this huge character sheet I like to get out from time to time, but it works better with original characters, and I usually never finish completing them, and then the characters decide that they are not even like that, so it’s mainly just for fun. Oh, I didn’t write it, i think it’s an earlier version of this one.
