The lack of confirmation of Nobara's status leads me to believe Gege has something planned for her as the end of the Everyone vs Sukuna battle Aka the "Decisive Battle" draws to an end. This situation totally reminds me of the "Enchain" plot thread. It felt for a long stretch of the manga like Gege had even forgotten about the Enchain binding vow.

Except he hadn't.

The hush-hush around Nobara might be due to a similar situation. It might mean that she will be a key player to defeat Sukuna. OR she might be part of the conclusion of the story in a different way like bringing a ray of sunshine and hope to the fandom with just the confirmation of her survival, after Gege breaks our hearts one last time before the manga's end lol.

#personally as a writer it just doesn't make sense to bring in Arata Nitta to heal her and then puff #we don't even see Arata ever again?? Season 5 having season 1 vibes and season 2 ideas, just imagine all the possible lumax parallels. Lucas being the most stubborn about saving Max. Lucas staying by Max’s side whenever possible. Lucas finding a lead (somewhere dangerous like near a gate or in the Upside Down or something) but being told by the adults not to go out and do something stupid without a plan, so instead he calls up Mike on the walkies and asks for his help, and then Mike rounds up the party and they all go try to save Max together. Lucas insisting he cares about Max more than anyone else when he's frustrated. Lucas insisting that Max is alive and has a chance even when other people start telling him it's time to start letting her go. Lucas just never giving up on Max. Lucas believing Max is still in there, even if El can't find her, even if she hasn't been responsive for so long. Lucas being willing to do literally anything and everything to get Max back and wake her up. And finally, a super happy reunion where Lucas is the first to rush in, and he's super happy because Max is finally awake for the first time in so long. Lucas recounting what happened while Max was in her coma. Lucas being concerned for Max and taking care of her during her post-coma recovery, but never babying her or making her feel weak.

There's just so much potential for great lumax content in season 5, and that's only on Lucas’s side.

The stuff with Will could’ve been handled a little better and I really don’t care about the stancy vs jancy nonsense, but aside from that I think vol 2 was good

#i cried like 4 times #season 4 altogether was way better than 3 #Ik ppl are upset about will and robin but nothing about how they were handled felt malicious #we were supposed to feel for them in those sad scenes #and it ended hopeful. i mean robin’s hitting it off with vickie and #well honestly idk about will and mike #but i feel like the fact that will’s the one who painted that painting for mike and sees mike as the heart could come up again #the fact that it’s will who feels that way not eleven #i mean. there’s still a whole other season. it’s not over til it’s over #both will and mike were sidelined this season so hopefully they’ll get some character attention in the next one #but really I’ve never cared for the romance in this show #it’s the friendship and family relationships that get me grinning and sobbing #I’m also so so glad max did not die. was eleven bringing her back somehow a little cheesy? yeah. but if max had died #after this whole season about her healing from her trauma and wanting to live again #i would’ve been crushed. would’ve soured the whole ending for me tbh #but she’s alive and I’m interested to see what they do with her in a coma #since eleven is trying to lead max out of that coma using her powers #ik ppl got real attached to eddie too but i thought his death was good and the private scene between dustin and mr munson was so much more #effective than if everyone had mourned/there’d been a funeral #it was so good i broke down crying #anyway. yeah i had a pretty great time watching this season

I'm coming around to the idea that it was Gina the one who confessed. Giving a parallel to the season 1 flashback, this time saying it plainly but still standing her ground. If Ricky doesn't reciprocate this time it's over. I like that. I like that Gina has agency and knows her self-worth and she doesn't want more maybes. BUT, if Ricky Bowen doesn't step up next season and isn't worshipping the ground Gina's on we're gonna have a problem. Like, I need that boy in love with puppy eyes at all times and I don't want any drama because they deserve to be happy together. Like, Ricky this season melting for Gina but also being his dumb silly self? I want that but x100 for season 4.
