[[Her Story is kinda a WIP rn, but I still wanna share it. For my Sonic AU, 06 is canon to the timeline, but no one remembers the events that transpired before Elise blew out Solaris’ flame... No one except Sonic, Shadow and Silver (to an extent).]]

Elise is a 16 year old Princess who has been ruling the Kingdom of Soleanna since the age of 6; since the tragic death of her father. For 10 years she has begrudgingly held the “Flames of Disaster” within her soul.

Terms of this Arrangement:

Any intense emotion she makes will chip away at the barrier keeping the Flames at bay.

It is because of these terms she decided to seal away her emotions with it. Not letting herself feel anything was the best way to keep her people safe. It was her duty as the Princess; to put Soleanna before herself, especially with her father gone.

While Elise tries to repress these emotions, she still cannot help but feel them every now and again. She is only human after all... [These are the “intense emotions” that chip away at the barrier mentioned]

Anger

Her anger for what her father did continuously burns within her. Her father is what caused the Flames to awaken, and he is responsible for making her soul the prison for the angered Sun God. He was the one to saddle her with this burden and she lives everyday remembering him with bitter resentment.

[While she may be incredibly angry with her father, she is also still mourning his death. Deep down, she knows he loved her very much. She knows he saved her life at the sacrifice of his own... but she still can’t help but feel angry, for it was his meddling with Solaris that caused his death...]

Sadness

Elise deeply longs for a friend. She wants someone she can look to for guidance, or even just to listen to her thoughts and feelings. Anyone to offer her comfort and support would make her world much more bearable. However, with attachment also comes the risk of great emotional distress... thus, she doesn’t attempt to make friends.

Sometimes she finds herself reminiscing about her family before her mother’s death. It was a time in her life where everything was perfect...

Fear

She is afraid of many things. She often has visions, and nightmares about the cataclysm the Flames of Disaster will unleash on the world should they be freed...

This is Adriana. She’s a total redo of my concept for a Kung Fu Panda OC, which I thought to do because of the announcement for the fourth movie. I really didn’t like my rat OC from before, so I did some research and chose a species already shown in the franchise and did my take on it, so now Adriana is a lynx. I really, really like how she and the background came out. I don’t normally draw furry characters with more feral characteristics and I’m really proud of it.

I don’t have much of a story for her. I know she somehow pulls Tai Lung from whatever void the Wuxi Finger Hold sent him to. This leads to Lung developing a paternal relationship to her. They later find Shen after he’s been injured in the final battle in the second movie and nurse him back to health. Adriana is obnoxious but kind and helps both villains to gain closure and reform somewhat. She is Shen’s love interest. But, other than that I’m not sure.

a lil backstory: jocelyn's an autistic girl. she has a hard time socializing with others and barely talks to her classmates. luckily, her outlet is playing the bass. one day, she leaves her hometown to attend her family party. her family is small, so why not.

there, she meets 'Iliana,' one of her less talkative cousin. while walking around the house, their room's decoration catched her eye. this cousin was really into music...

later that day, she parts ways with her mother around the town and stops at this open concert that's not too crowded--eh, mostly empty, actually...

she builds the courage to go up to an underground band (of one girl and two guys) that seemed to be looking for new members. but as she's stepping closer, she realizes the familiar face of the guitarist--was actually her cousin.

it's about going back as far as I can with the perseus narrative because there's always a version of a myth that exists behind the one that survives. the missing pieces are clearly defined, but the oldest recorded version of it isn't there! and there's probably something older before that!! but it's doomed to forever be an unfilled space, clearly defined by an outline of something that was there and continues to be there in it's absence.
