ITS ELIAS

Based on all the little scraps I got from spoilers cause I was too curious and impatient, along with the clues Im getting now, I just know its that fricking sus british man (Elias, not Jon).

For one, because of the spoilers I only know that Elias is revealed to be evil later, that his name is Jonah and that he can assumingly watch and know things about others. Keep in mind thats all the facts I have. I dont have the hows or the whys to give me enough dots to smoothly connect Elias to all these cases of people being watched from Jon to Gertrude to the man from the Crusader episode to the woman in this episode.

Theres probably more but my memory is crap (I should really start making a map with red string and notecards but I dont have enough room).

Now I could be wrong because someone (or more likely something) could've killed Gertrude, but my guess is leaning hard on Elias.

Idk what those papers were about though. The ones the lady in ep. 60 had thrown away or smth and replaced the cargo with petrol that was absolutely going to the Magnus Institute. However in on of the animatics I watched that had spoilers galore (see: "Martin's arson asmr" on youtube) Elias was very adamant that Martin didnt burn any more statements and went to harsh lengths to make sure Martin didnt.

Idk whats going on with that the same way I dont know why the tape recorder in THAT video seemed sentient or smth. Maybe in order to read their minds or watch them, they have to have a statement in the Archives, but that doesnt make too much sense seeing as how the man from the Crusader episode hadn't put in a statement and he felt the feeling of being watched just as much as the others, and Jon felt like that before he gave his own statement after episode 39.

can we talk about Phil and Jaiden today and their interactions after Jaiden finally shows her wings because I’m going crazy.

Jaiden showing off her wings for the first time to Phil, and Phil both happy for her and also insanely jealous, because why did she get to keep her wings, while his got clipped so badly he needs his backpack to counterbalance the weight he lost - or at least the weight he looses having to keep them close to his back.

and the whole time they’re talking in a group, hanging around spawn, Jaiden is perched somewhere above the group. up in a tree, moving from branch to branch, or against the wall, or right on the top of that lamppost. Phil, on the other hand, stays sat on the bench the entire time. grounded.

and every time Jaiden hops from perch to perch, he looks specifically at her. zooms in whiles she’s sat on the lamppost even as he continues conversation. its such a small detail but really helps punch in just how much Philza can’t let it go, can’t stop wishing that he could do the same.

im so late on this but for the wip folder ask: HADES CODY????? SUNSHINE BOY BUT HADES??? im so hyped about it

YES! Sunshine boy is steadily making his way into the Hades AU!! He’s got his jetpack and a torn up poncho for dramatic effect (but no Wi-Fi antenna because I didn’t want to put it in his face 😅)

Why did I feel it necessary to add all these sketches to this one page? Because 1) I wanted to showcase how much I struggled on this one. It is just part of the drawing process. Like, Old Man Rex was a headache and a half but Cody still had him beat on the sketch somehow. And 2) because the solution to being stuck here turned out to be to switch my dark brown/desaturated purple to a red colour, scribble out the very very base of the pose (imagine blobs and swoopy lines and boxes) and then just keep chipping away at building the body and armor and whatever on top of it. (I think the sketch is still very red in the original file…)That had granted me a breakthrough with Rex as well, and now with Cody too… so I might as well remember this solution and spare myself the trouble with the next character ^^;

(Do I know what size a lightsaber actually is when it is held in only one hand? No. Am I willing to look it up properly? … not for the time being, no)

Ghost looked down at the two alternate version of his kids and noticed the rough clothes, the thinness, the way they smiled. He knew that look on Leo's face, and the same look on Mikey's. They wanted something, they were scheming, plotting. Together, too, which was the most dangerous way to plot for the two of them, if they were anything like his own kids.

It didn't really matter if they had ulterior motives, though. They didn't need any tricks with him, Ghost was already thinking about what he could give them. He wanted to get them nice, clean clothes and warm food and somewhere safe and cozy to sleep. The urge to sweep them under his cloak like a broody hen was rising exponentially, especially with his own kids out wandering around, leaving him to his own devices.

Fighting an inner war to ask where he needed to sign their adoption papers, he sighed softly and gently rubbed both of their heads.

"Anything you want," Ghost murmured. "I'll give it to you."
