Immortal Nanny
Bruce Wayne had never been a father. He knew what it was like to be a good father, and he knew what good fathers should be like, but adopting Richard was an impulse, a moment when he decided to give a child the comfort he needed, as he himself had needed in the past.
But just because he knew and understood didn't mean he could do it, or that he could become a good father instantly. Alfred would be a great help, of course, but it was he who had to raise the boy, Alfie was too old to start raising another child.
So, it was only natural that he forgot all about his busy life as "Brucie Wayne", adopting Dick hadn't stopped the million interviews or meetings, and while Alfred was extremely capable, Bruce still decided to hire a nanny.
Daniel Nightingale was a bit of an outsider (in a good way), he was studying at Gotham U, and was doing very well in his chosen career; though his records were strangely empty, Bruce knew he could trust him. His tired look and the shy smile he gave him upon arriving at the mansion was enough to calm his concerns.
Perhaps it was because he was just starting out as Batman at the time that he didn't investigate further.
Anyway, Dick loved Danny, from that first day, he used to tell Bruce about his "adventures" and how much fun he had. On one occasion he even told him they had a snowball fight (which confused him, because it was July but he was too tired to question the excited kid).
So, Danny became Dick's, and later Jason's, official nanny. He never complained and always smiled. The boy got along quite well with Alfred and would attend to any emergency, although he was never involved in the vigilante business.
It was only after Jason's death, when Tim arrived, that someone began to question Danny. Tim wasn't sure about Danny, there were a lot of things...that just didn't fit, and if the old photos of the mansion were any indication, the nanny wasn't getting any older.
Dick wasn't ten anymore and that was pretty obvious, but Danny looked exactly the same. Tim frowned, puzzled as to how no one had investigated such an oddity before. Alfred simply looked at him with an amused smile. He wondered how long it would take for the family to notice the (rather obvious) secrets of the elusive nanny.
Alfred couldn't blame the boy, the easiest way to hide something was in plain sight. And he knew the halfa would never hurt his family.

DC X DP PROMT #16
Well hello there my beloved internet strangers! New promt!
Bruce needed a drink. Several bottles worth in fact. Maybe he should call Harley. Have a night out, actually listen to his college friend and let loose.
Or. Or he could deal with the issue at hand. His apparent sort-of-uncle-but-not-really.
Adopted into the wayne family at the age of 11, Danny Fenton soon became Danny Wayne, brother of Thomas Wayne.
Not much was heard about this Wayne after the adoption, and not many cared. Until now.
Bruce had recently received a letter from his lawyer that they found an additional peice to his father's will, hidden in another vault.
Danny Wayne was to be found and given the list of non-descript items. Within the letter that was found there was a single address written, labeled to belong to one Danny Wayne.
...
That's it, Bruce was calling Harley. He'd leave it to Alfred to inform the kids about their sort-of-uncle-but-not-really.
Feel free to add on or use!

Idea: Danny, as Ghost King, has now lived for millennia. He’s seen civilizations rise and fall, stars collapse and solar systems be eaten by black holes. Despite this, he stopped maturing at 20. As a result, he gets bored easily, especially since he found a way to restructure the Infinite Realms to be a lot less reliant on one person.
So he explores. Perhaps he’s seen everything from his dimension, but what about others? In what ways could they be different? So he looks. Sometimes, there is no Earth. Sometimes it’s completely different. Sometimes it’s exactly the same. He just left one that was completely futuristic, but this new one? It had heroes.
Heroes! Just like he was, once! Oh, that brings him back. They’re so cute, so small, but- No, no, just because he’s stronger than them doesn’t mean they’re weak. Actually, it’s quite impressive how much they manage to accomplish. They even have their own little group dedicated to saving the world from what they deem threats.
Maybe Danny could join. It’s been a long time since he’s had a vacation. It would be fun. Plus, who would say no to more help?
(The Justice League was in a panic. Every single member who was magically inclined felt something arrive, something that felt like death and life and balance and strength all at once. It would feel safe if it wasn’t strong enough to practically suffocate them. No, they needed to plan, so that this wouldn’t end up a possible Darkseid scenario.)

Danny Fenton is a Gotham Police Officer
Danny is just a random Street Cop in Gotham, but he has a good relationship with everybody else, even the corrupt ones. He decides to not use his powers on the job, since the Anti-Ecto Acts are still in the process of being repealed and Gotham has a pretty harsh attitude towards Metas (and he does count as a meta, a meta is classified as a sentient being with powers. It is not exclusive to people with Meta-Genes)
One day, while Danny is on duty he stumbles upon a battle between the Bats and a gang. They were caught while investigating a lead and were outgunned, but they can’t leave without the evidence or the entire case will be ruined.
Danny saw that one of them was about to get hit as they run to get the briefcase holding the evidence, so he pushes them out of the way and takes a shot to the head.
All of his cop buddies are sad, and Commissioner Gordon is sad that he lost one of his non-corrupted cops
Danny’s body is taken to the Morgue and the Bats go to pay their respects and thank him for saving one of their own.
Just as Batman is giving Commissioner Gordon a big speech about how they will make sure his sacrifice wasn’t in vain, and how he was one of the good ones, Danny’s immortality kicks in and he just sits up on the Examination Table.
He says, “Hey Boss”. Everybody turns around and sees him sitting up, “What’s everybody staring at me for?”
He just tells them that he was in a lab accident as a kid that turned him immortal, and he hid it because of Gotham’s attitude towards Meta-Humans.
And from then on he is just, “Danny the Immortal Cop”, just a swell guy who just so happens to have a problem with dying.
He also stops hiding it so much, he rushes into burning buildings, he acts as a distraction during shootouts, he gives up his Gas Mask to his fellow officer when there’s a Scarecrow/Joker attack, and generally he is the guy you call when you need help in a dangerous situation.
Not to mention he’s a darn good Cop.
And that’s just the stuff that comes from the initial immortality reveal, what about what comes next? Do Villains try to buy him out? Do they try to test his immortality? Are they determined to get rid of this guy no matter what, because he isn’t somebody you can just make go away?
Part 2

do x dc prompt #48
When Jason first found himself dead in the Infinite Realms, he was just about lost without a way to contact his family. He fell into a deep depression and only started crawling out of it when Danny took him under his wing. They found they related to each other a lot and could sympathize with being a teen hero, and soon were practically inseparable.
Then he was resurrected.
Jason was so angry and he had no idea why. Every time something reminded him of what came after death, he would fly into a blind rage because he can’t remember anything. He’s missing something essential in his memories, and he can’t admit that to his family, so he doesn’t.
The second time Jason died, it was only for a few minutes. A quick enough end after hitting the surface of the ocean and inhaling what seemed like gallons of seawater. He woke up in the zone, cradled in the grip of the man who took him in the first time, who his memory of had been blocked. They barely had time to catch up before Jason was hauled back to the land of the living. This time he didn’t forget.
The third time Jason died, They thought that was finally it. There’s not a lot of people that can come back from their upper half and lower half being separated for over an hour after all. He settled in. They watched his family, making sure they were coping alright(they werent, and it was so painful to watch-).
On the day of his funeral almost two months later(they wanted to wait as long as possible, he came back once after all, they needed to make sure. They wouldn’t leave him to crawl out of his own grave a second time.) The halfa king and the new(?) ghost watched. Jason committed every word of his eulogy to memory, everything his friends and family said. When the alley kids even stepped up to say their goodbyes, Danny pointedly ignored Jason’s open sobs(he never liked people seeing him vulnerable). The burning grief in his core was becoming unbearable(if he was just a little more open would his family have realized that the mission had gone sideways sooner?). Danny flinched next to him and turned toward Jason just as reality snapped and warped, dragging him back. Away from the Infinite realms(his home-) for a third time.
Dick didn’t know what to think when the motion sensors started going off right before they lowered the coffin. To say he was stunned for a moment was an understatement, He didn’t so much as twitch until a fist broke through the lid of the box.
Once is a coincidence. Twice is an anomaly. Three times is a pattern. Nobody ever told Jason how awkward it could be crashing your own funeral. He’d almost prefer digging out his grave.
Danny isn’t just going to sit quietly this time. Jason is back in the living world, completely defenseless. He needs to protect his ward.
(immortal!Danny? yes. today i present to you the first ever time i’ve seen Immortal!Jason ;).)

I love Danny Phantom crossovers where others believe Danny is an un-aging Immortal…
Like I know most of the time (fanfics) only go into it like: oh here are some hieroglyphics and some really old art of him! He must be Immortal! And Danny just kinda bullshits his way through it
But does no one think that he would brag about certain things he did in the past ( via. time travel; not that he tells anyone that it was time travel)
Like how Danny saved the Wright brothers first test flight and that he’s in that famous photograph INVISIBLE!
And other ( time travel ) things he would say be like…
Danny: “oh yeah I remember I first went to Rome, they saw me as a deity… but then I had to fight Plasmius and accidentally burned down Rome in the process…”
Danny: “oh did you know one of my friends (at the time) almost got burned at the stake during the Salem witch trials!”

So I was thinking about forever-14 Danny at age 24 or so, living with his besties, trying to do adult human things, but looking like a child. Comparing that experience to gender dysphoria, and how fucked up it feels to try and do something as simple as grocery shopping or going to a restaurant and dealing with the constant subtle social exchanges of being treated as lesser/incompetent/untrustworthy by the adult world that he should be a part of.
Danny is never going to pass as an adult man. And he is SO fucked up about it.
He stops leaving the house whenever he can get away with it because he just doesn't want to deal with being seen. He's so tired of mentally straining against this public dissonance.
He's never going to pass as an adult man.
But. Sam has this crazy idea.
He COULD pass, pretty easily, as an adult woman.

For shit n giggles Danny cut his head off to be committed to his hallow-weed costume. Goes to a party that he was invited by Jazz. The said party was hosted by Jazz's boyfriend's family. Jazz's boyfriend's family happened to be full of detectives and friends that def not completely normal or human, all of them had escape death more then he could ever count with his finger(which is ten mind u). It freak Danny out how they all soaked with death. The guy who is almost big as his dad with glasses have def died. So is his kid? Prob. Now onto the Jazz's boyfriend and his family... They all had cheated death, half of them have died. The dude who holding the cup that was written 'The Okay-iest Dad' was looking pretty dead to him... Oh ancient that dude who is beside the the big guy with glasses's son thankfully doesn't have death but he does have death hanging on his shoulder. The dude who look like all-smile attitude had died- Jazz boyfriend who is safe to say had died but came back wrong.. the kid- the spikey hair kid ugh.... He could feel another deaths too but where the fuck is it from??? The most normal ppl he could say is the other red hair lady who is in the wheel chair, the other kid that look would be related with big glasses guy and the wife of the glasses dude (okay maybe a little on her too)
They all are non normal ppl now Danny suddenly regrets coming to the party. If he was every fortune maybe they all are not anything special... maybe the death rate here is just coincidentally.... But.,. Unfortunately for Danny they all recognize the smell of fresh blood. And the supes prolly notice the lack of heartbeat.
Que for hijinks.
Anger management+ immortal Danny.

What if Danny was never drawn to his own haunt cause he had a One True King kind of situation
-
The Keep, the Haunt of the Ghost King has never completely matched the needs and wishes of any of the Ghost Kings.
It has always been too small, too big, too filled with rooms that they never needed the use of, too bright, too dark, too childish, too comfortable, too humble, too welcoming, too filled with little glowing stars for some unknown reason??
While the presence of each new Ghost King did change the place slightly, no matter how long their reign, the place never truly became theirs, the fundamental base of the Keep never changed, never bent to the one using it.
(It was however still used by them, as it was a symbol of their power.)
The more easy-going Kings theorised that it was simply because they had another haunt that had actually formed with them, while the Keep had been through many hands and thus could not be anyone's solely, but was rather the Infinite Realms'.
To truly change the Keep, they theorised, was to irreversibly change the Infinite Realms itself.
On the other hand, the more controlling Kings that passed through the Crown and Ring sought to warp the Keep to their control by force, but all ultimately failed.
There was one among them, however, that managed to warp the Keep the most, whether it was through the awesome and fearful power he wielded against even his own subjects, the amount of change he brought upon the Infinite Realms buy forcing it to adapt to being without a someone specific to do the duties of the Ghost King, or simply the comparitively long rule compared to other Ghost Kings that had been obsessed with some form of control.
Ultimately, however, no one could truly change, control and make the Keep their own.
Why?
Well, simply put, it was because it was not their Haunt.
The Keep was formed at the same time the Infinite Realms itself was formed (before even the first Ghost King was an idea), formed to house the one and only being who would serve and protect It and It's people, protect It's relations with the other Realms it was connected to and simply keep the balance between It and Them, between Life and Death.
It becoming the Keep was something caused by the population of the Infinite Realms, believing their strongest and wisest the one foretold to them in the words they had been formed knowing:
Do Seek our Savior when, The Trials Three are Done, First that of Acceptance, Second that of Conquering, Last that of Self, and then, We Crown our King, the One, the True, And celebrate as all is balanced once more
Well whether they were supported by the population or were egotistical mad men, none of them were that which they believed them to be.
Until Danny.
-
Did you know, did you know?
On the day of his rebirth, the Infinite Realms sung in the Cores of all it's people.
Did you hear, did you hear?
He protects all who need it, even those who were once his enemies, those that are different, those that aren't his people.
He is Kind and Accepting.
Did you know, did you know?
He brought down Pariah Dark, the Tyrant King, one only the Ancients working together could capture.
(But didn't he have help? Wasn't he aided? Two hands closed that coffin)
He fought him alone, without help from any other, with a device that amplifies one's power, like the age he doesn't have.
(He's so young.
Did you hear? Oh did you hear?
The King's a Child.
He's so young, so young, so young.
Did you know? Oh please, did you know?
I know you didn't.)
He is Powerful and Conquers all who pose a threat.
Did you hear? Did you hear?
They say he fought himself, a stronger and greater version that destroyed his world.
A Tyrant King that killed every being.
A true ghost, with power rivaling an Ancient.
The ghost halves of two Halfa.
(Aren't the ghost halves of Halfas more powerful?
Yes, they are.)
One who caused such fear that the Realms rejected him, that the Observants sought to end him before he was born.
(They wanted to kill the King, Our King.
How dare they. How dare they.
He's Ours!)
Did you know? Did you know?
He Won.
The King, (Our King) Won.
He has Defeated the worst aspects of his Self.
Long Reign The King.
(He has completed the trials.)
Long Reign The King.
(He is Just and Kind.)
Long Reign The King, The One True King, Always and Forevermore.
(He is the King, Our King.)
-
When Danny stepped into the Keep for the first time after his coronation, he knew it as his own.
He knew the place, every corridor, every room, like it was a part of him he had always had but never used. (It was though wasn't it? A part of him?)
Unlike every other King before him, the Keep was perfect for him.
Every unwanted aspect left behind by the previous tenants (cause that's what they were, weren't they? Tenants.) had been either removed or shuffled into one of the many storerooms created precisely for that at the moment he had been officially crowned.
(And what a crowning it was, for the moment the Crown and Ring had been put on, something in all the ghosts settled, like a missing puzzle piece, a yearning fed, a prophecy ingrained in them fulfilled.)
The Keep felt to him like home he had lived in every day of his life and yet never been in, a part of himself he was rediscovering after a long time without.
As Danny wandered through His Keep, he knew what lay behind every door, what every room was for, the location of everything in the Keep, like a nostalgic walk through a childhood home that he had not visited in a few years, but yet had not changed.
It felt like coming Home.

SuperPhantom Prompt Idea
Danny was used to his barren wasteland. A plane of existence only ghosts can be apart of. A break between reality, and the dead. No living soul can be found.
After years and years as the ghost king, fighting hard to protect his spirits. He failed.
Lost his friends, his family, and he's kingdom.
He was alone. He finally, finally accepted it. Trapped himself in his barren world, wandering the empty streets as days progressed.
Blissfully unaware of what occurred outside his walls.
If his kingdom didn't want to listen to him, if they wanted to follow the road that lead to the end of their afterlife, so be it. He wasn't going to force anyone to do anything.
Imagine he's surprise when he hears him.
An angry short man screaming in the streets at nothing. Danny watched for a bit from the distance, settled on a rooftop.
The man wasn't just yelling. Not in despair and anger. No, this man was challenging him. Calling forth the King.
The King that hasn't existed in centuries. There is no king without a kingdom.
Winchester. Dean Winchester.
Memories of a very similar man flickered through Danny's mind. He hadn't heard that name in forever. Time moved differently here, it felt like ages since he'd last heard that name.
Since he last interacted with hunters.
After the events that accord last time Danny associated with a Winchester, one can imagine he's hesitance.
He's had nothing but peace and silence for so long, the fear of a life without it loomed heavy.
He wasn't going to help. Why would he? It would do him no good, none at all. Danny wasn't connected to whatever it was going on with the living.
Except he was. Because if this Kevin Tran this man is going on about links back to Sam Manson, he'd be damned if he failed her again.
He'd be damned to let anymore of his family's lineage get ruined by the supernatural.

Haunted City
Danny could admit that pretending to be a "regular ghost" was pretty fun. He could hide in one place and scare people who were waiting for an open door and a creepy laugh.
Honestly, Danny could do a lot more than that, the ghosts people believed in were nothing like the ones he knew. He wondered if there were simply different types of ghosts, or supernatural creatures; it was quite likely, considering that the ghosts of the Realms weren't even of the same dimension so it wasn't a fair comparison.
Anyway, the halfa had spent a couple of days "haunting" Gotham. The place was too leggy and they needed a little excitement in their lives. Of course, this led to some rumors about a spirit suffering or something similar, he didn't really care.
The "heroes" of Gotham didn't seem to share his opinion, going through all the places that had been "attacked" (they were just jokes) and looking for some explanation before calling Justice League Dark, Danny had fun scaring them a little in the process.
But he wasn't too interested in being exorcised, banished or whatever they did with rebel ghosts, so he settled on a mansion that was too big for its few inhabitants. Scaring billionaires was almost therapeutic, although the butler didn't seem too impressed by his (minimal) efforts.

A Phantom in UA
So Danny moves to the Ghost Zone after a while, closing the portal behind him of course. Lots of time passes and quirks become a thing. During this time, Danny is learning how to fight and languages from other ghosts. I don't see him as the king (though you could certainly do that) but more so as a very important/influential ghost due to his accomplishments.
So around the time of the Boku no Hero canon, something happens so that the Ghost Zone wants someone in the human world. Could be Clockwork or the Nomus having amalgamation corpses or something else. The consensus is that Danny should go there because of how well he meshes with humans. By now, Danny knows about quirks and how they work from other ghosts in the zone so he chooses one of his abilities and goes down to Earth. For plot reasons, Japan is the area he pops out in. Because he learned multiple languages from ghosts, there isn't a language barrier, but it's still painfully obvious that Danny's an outsider.
From here, there are two main ways you can go. One, a villain finds Danny and he gets involved with the League of Villains. Lots of ways you can spin this both for angst and for fluff. The other one is to have one of the pro heroes to swoop down and take Danny. This one would end up having Danny go to UA because he is looking like a child in my head. (Of course if you want to have an adult looking Danny, go ahead.) One of the things that annoys Danny is constantly being underestimated and talked down to because of his young appearance. He got used to the culture of the Realms and very much does not like being treated like he can't take care of himself.
The Eri arc is one that's hard on him, no matter what side. Eri reminds him of both Dani and himself back when they were younger. Being treated like an experiment is something that was one of Danny's big fears for a long time so he doesn't take kindly to Eri's treatment. This ends up leading to an early close to the arc and Danny adopting Eri and being a protective figure to her.

Crack prompt: Danny has declared war on the curses in Gotham. He is armed with a water balloon gun, but the balloons are full of medical-grade ectoplasm. He targets any location, ghost, or liminal being tainted by curses and/or corrupted ecto - absolutely drenching them before yeeting off again.
This includes the Bats. Danny is smart about it, though. He lived in Gotham for several months before acting, so he could get the lay of the land. He also waits for patrol to be finished before hitting the Bats - he doesn't want to interrupt their Quest to Better Gotham (or be labeled an invader to their haunt).
One night, Danny happens upon Batman patrolling alone and waits for him to finish cleaning up a crime scene before hitting they guy with a half-clip of balloons. Batman gives chase, like he always does, and Danny runs, like he always does. He knows by now that, for whatever reason, Crime Alley is off limits to Batman. The whole alley just gives off "no (other) bats allowed" vibes.
Red hood is just more territorial. Whatever.
At any rate, Danny is enjoying the chase, using just enough ghost powers to stay ahead of batman, almost-but-not-quite taunting him. Crime Alley isn't too far, so instead of turning invisible around a corner like he usually does, he makes his way to the Alley to see if the no-trasspassing rule is enough to stop Batman mid-chase. He leaps across rooftops and weaves through fire escapes, ecto-balloon-gun bouncing by its strap against his back, until finally he's at the border, slightly tapping into flight to make the jump across a slightly wider road into the alley proper.
He turns around immediately, spotting Batman skulking on the rooftop on the other side of the road, stopping the chase and suit half-covered in healing ectoplasm.
"Sanctuary!" Danny yells, pumping his fists in the air from getting caught up in the exciting rush of adrenaline, "I claim sanctuary!"
"Who the fuck is claiming sanctuary in my territory?" Red Hood booms from almost directly behind Danny. He would have yeeted out of his own skin from surprise if he hadn't spent years honing his ghost-fighting instincts. As it was, Danny instead whirled around and emptied the clip of balloons into Hood, purely out of reflex.
Hood stood there, drenched in ecto like his fellow Bat one rooftop over, glaring murder at Danny with glowing eyes. But his haunt betrayed Hood's true emotions.
Surprise, concern, impressed, you-little-brat.
Danny booked it to the fire escape and turned invisible the second he was out of sight.

DC X DP PROMPT #10
Danny has a bit of an issue, he's stopped aging completely. It was fine in high school where anyone would believe in malnourishment as an excuse. But now? When he is supposed to be a 37-year-old man? This got old the second he turned 21. It's not like anyone would believe him.
So what does Danny do? He marches himself to Gotham, where he assumes people wouldn't question a supposed 15-17-year-old trying to work. Does it hinder his career goals and life aspirations? ABSOLUTELY! Not much he can do about it though!
Danny tries to lay low, but Fenton Luck strikes! Now he gets to convince the local heroes that he is a TOTALLY NORMAL kid, not at all a low-key immortal.
