Dave: Yep, but I’m going to go with you!
Impa: Dave you don’t have to-
Dave: It’s no worry just need to tell the wife *chirp chirp*
A few seconds later a large shadowy figure flys in
Impa: Dave who’s that?
Dave: My wife Tasha
standing in front of them stands a 8 foot tall bird woman
Tasha: Look you better bring souvenirs back for the children and you better not get hurt, no need to relive your glory days!
Dave: Of course honey

Something I really didn't understand when I was a baby artist (i say as if i'm not still a baby artist, sssshhhh), was asking other, really advanced, artists 'how do you draw x?' is kind of a shitty question.
Not because you want to learn by copying or anything (that's actually good technique for practicing!), but because it really puts them on the spot and sends an artist back through all their years of learning what they know now to try and give you the answer you want. Let's be real, we mostly want something simple and direct. Unfortunately, that is sometimes impossible to give especially the more advanced an artist is.
It's like witchcraft. Advanced witches catch a lot of flack because they simply don't share as much of their practice online. Maybe because they don't want to be copied, yeah. But a lot of the time, it's like...'how the fuck do I condense and break down stuff it has taken me years to learn and experiences I wouldn't necessarily wish on anybody else even if they could come to see it the way I did?' It just...becomes damn near impoosible without essentially throwing a newbie into a well and seeing if they come out the other side knowing more than they did when you chucked them down there. Or if they just come out fed up, scarred for life, in debt, or without a lot to show for it.
Art...is hard. We know that. At least, the art we want to make tends to be. The only way we improve isn't just practice, it's literally just...living your life and pulling from what experience you have. That drawing tutorial you watched, sure, but also that dog you saw at the park one time, the process by which shea butter is made, eating an interestingly shaped cookie. Even the way you hold your damn butter knife can teach you something about how to draw or create whatever it is you're trying to create.
First thing I really had to do and the thing I keep doing to improve is pay attention.

what if moe went crazy and he shut himself into moe's tavern and after 12 months the townspeople start to get a little suspicious so they break into the tavern and behind the counter they see the entrance to an impoosibly inhumanly large tunnel with a sign that says "moe's cavern"

What I have is not one epic fail of a monolithic battle called "LIFE" to win solo or wipe. There are like 18-20 competing battles and I don't acknowledge that in order to succeed I must be in a full party for each of the MIXED ABILITY PARTY-META 8-PLAYER DUNGEONS. In fact, I keep insisting on solo attempts and wondering why I fail each time!
Even the best DPS / healer / tank alive cannot solo a dungeon; life's meta is a series of full-party quests -- I did a fair bit in the early game starter areas solo, but will I have the full experience continuing this way? No. Not even close. The "Job" raid boss alone needs a diverse team to conquer: me, job coach, references, psychiatrist, friends, authors of online CV and cover letter guides, etc., and even then it feels next to impoosible. And there are so many raid bosses! Career raid boss + home life raid boss + health raid boss + nutrition raid boss + relationship raid boss (in my case, with added 0 xp, No LVL up challenge for funsiessss) + mental health raid boss + student debt raid boss...
In the past, the raid bosses for my developmental level were beginner-tier content & my build as a gifted kid (with then-undiagnosed alphabet soup, throw darts in the general direction of an open DSM-V) was able to solo for a long time. I had high coping abilities and masking skills that were OP enough to handle the XP grind (despite my random spawn point being next to a glitched out, post-endgame pair of parental raid bosses...). The "Gifted Kid build" was great for all the early game content, but dead in the water out in the next arc of the game where the difficulty keeps spiking.
I can either keep wiping to raid bosses I have no business soloing, or I can learn to queue up for a party for each of these instances. I have to understand that we may still wipe because I don't have the skills or knowledge of these party mechanics. A lot of the adaptive social skill "buffs" I acquired soloing my parents (lol) are no longer appropriate. Now they're debuffs I need to cleanse. And it all takes mana, which is super slow to recharge, and I cannot possibly expect myself to cast & fight & tank & heal & & &... all at once and perfectly.

The shenanigans of the Drama Society (University AU)
Hi people, the fresh new chapter one has arrived! Woah it is so longgggg~ I didn’t make a plan of chapters so I don’t know exactly how many chapters there will be or when it would end. I guess I will just go with the flow lollll So yea, enjoy the read! ^v^
Mission 1
Benji is generally satisfied with what he gets.
He is a Year 2 computer science student in the Oxford University. He is doing well with his degree. He has a few, sometimes annoying, but still lovely friends from the Drama society. His parents are supportive of what he does and loves him very much.
However, as most of his friends have pointed out at least once, Benji lacks love life. It’s not like Benji doesn’t want one, he was just too busy managing himself.
A few years back, his father suddenly had fallen sick and was hospitalized. With the main finical income of the family collapsed, it meant that Benji had to work extra hard to get a scholarship from his dream university in order to get in while working as a part-time waiter in a restaurant at the same time. It was hard, but he got through it with determination, and when he received the acceptance letter and scholarship, his family congratulated him with a group hug. Only then, he can finally release some of the burdens on his shoulders.
Even though the situation for his family has gotten better these days, he has been working as hard as before. Sometimes he would even miss his meals to study. Seeing this, his childhood friend, Ilsa Faust, who attends the same university said when they met up for lunch one afternoon.
“You need to relax, Benji,” Ilsa said and push half of her own sandwich in front of him. “You been through too much, and now it is over, you deserved to enjoy your life.”
“No, I’m not hungry.” Benji pushed the sandwich back to his friend. “And no, it is not the time for me to relax. It is true that the situation in my family is improving, but that does not mean that I can slack off. I just don’t feel like I can.”
“Well, to me, it sounds more like you don’t know how to instead of you can’t,” Ilsa stated, her eyes shining with sincerity, and Benji was surprised by her words.
“N… No… I do…”
“Really? You do?” Ilsa continued without allowing time for Benji to interrupted. “Then tell me, when is the last time you just lay on your bed and allow your mind to be empty? When is the last time you just watch the TV and not worrying over things?”
Benji searched his mind, but cannot find an answer.
“See what I mean?” Ilsa stared at his friend, her brows now knitted in worry. “I understand that you want to work hard and be tough for your family, but you need to be happy too. As a friend, after witnessing how difficult you had it, I want you to finally live the way you want to, make friends and be happy with minimal worries on your mind.” Ilsa said with a soft smile, her hand reach over to Benji’s with a comforting pat.
“And I believe this is what your family wants for you too.’
He cried after hearing Ilsa’s word, it was the word that he needed the most, someone telling him that he can rest now. That was a few months ago, on the last day of the first year of university.
And at the start of the second year, Benji found to be dragged to Drama society by Ilsa, saying that he is going to join in the society so he can learn to relax, make some new friends and find a hobby.
This is when he met Ethan for the first time. Ethan Hunt, an exchange student from American, studying in year 2 of engineering course and is always givingthe biggest and brightest smile. And oh man, he had never considered the possibility of having a love life for himself, but upon seeing Ethan, he thinks he will like to have one now, thank you very much.
Talking to Ethan was a big mistake because as the conversation goes on, Benji found that he is attracted to the man even more. Ethan is a very friendly and interesting person. They talked about all kinds of things, from academic to films, from politics to science. Benji doesn’t usually do talks, but with Ethan? Anytime. Benji feels comfortable to be around him, he does not need to force himself and trying to search for topics for the sake of continuing it.
After their first meeting, they became friends and exchanged numbers. Since then, they often text each other. In the first month of knowing each other, Benji would send Ethan with all kind of films related memes, and Ethan would just laugh and send another one back.  Two months in, on top of the memes, they would also meet up for coffees and lunch after their lectures, during exam times, they would also go to the library and study together till late at night. And Ethan, childish as he is, love to distract Benji by sending him memes sneakily and try to hold his laugh while Benji would look to his phone and just roll his eyes fondly.  Now, almost six months in, there are more than memes, coffee and study dates, but also Benji’s game night, Ethan’s daily jogging (Ethan insisted) and their weekly film night.
Their weekly night of films… It’s almost like they are a couple.
Except that they are not. Benji smiles bitterly.
Benji knows that he is in love with Ethan, he admitted it for a while now, he realised the fact when they had one of their game night. Benji lost the round against a random player on the other side of the line, he pouts with the sadness of being defeated and stops when he suddenly hears soft giggles from Ethan and felt a hand softly patting on his hands.
He was sure his heart skipped a beat seeing that smile.
But he is also certain that Ethan will not return those feelings. Come on, Ethan is a handsome guy, with an army of girls and boys chasing after him. And Benji? While he is a close friend of his, Ethan will not think of him as a love interest. Benji is a friend who Ethan can chill out and to fool around, but not one to kiss and hug.
Yea… I don’t have a chance. Benji sigh and takes out his laptop to view the notes for his previous lecture. Benji stayed like this for a while until he sees a person with a black T-shirt standing in front of him and looks up.
“Hi, Benji” Ethan smiles.
“Hi, Ethan” He smiles back to him and patting the space next to him. Ethan understood his silent invitation and takes the seat next to him. After putting his rucksack down, he turned to Benji with two Starbucks in his hands and Benji raised his eyebrows as a question.
“Would you like coffee or tea? Mr Dunn?” The American said with a British accent and Benji laughs. For a brief second, Benji thinks that they are truly a pair of lovers, sitting on a bench, causally banting with each other.
Be careful, Dunn. Benji reminded himself. Don’t fall for it.
“I would like the tea, please.” With a soft thank you, Benji takes the tea and sips on it.
“What are you doing?” Ethan asks.
“Nothing much, just looking over the notes from the last lecture.”
“Hardworking as always.”
Benji gives him a shrug and stays silent. It is comfortable and the two just sits there quietly, watching people walk by and breathing in the fresh air.
What a beautiful moment. I hope it lasts forever.  Benji closes his eyes and thinks quietly.
From afar, the rest of the team had finished their lessons for the day and asks Benji and Ethan to join a coffee break. However, when they found them Benji and Ethan were already talking to each other, so they decided to not distract their conversation, and settle their drinks and belongings on the grass and begin observing.
“It’s so obvious that it hurts.” Brandt states bluntly with a face palm.
Everyone agrees with Brandt and nod their heads in agreement, all except for Ilsa, who just looks at the two with a smile on her face.
“Ilsa? Are you okay?” Luther asks with concern.
“Hm? Oh yes, never better.” Ilsa reply and have the brightest smile on her face, while everyone else is confused with her sudden change of emotions.
Suddenly, Ilsa claps her hands together and gather everyone’s attention.
“Brandt?”
“Yes?”
“Let’s do it.” She said with a determined voice.
“Do what?”
“Let’s set those two up.”
Luther and Jane are now even more shocked than before. The ever so logical Ilsa is agreeing with this? And Brandt, he is already celebrating, repeatedly mouthing ‘Yes!’ without making any sound.
“Don’t look so shocked! I can be emotional too!” sound of giggles come through Ilsa’s mouth while the other two remained stunned. Her giggles stop after few seconds and her expression turn to a sad one.
“Benji is a good friend, we’ve been good friends for a long time and he is always there to help when I need it. But… he has also been through a lot, it was a long time ago since I’ve seen him being that comfortable around anyone except for me, so I do not want him to miss the chance.” Ilsa second look at the other two with sincerely shinning in her eyes.
“So, please get on board? For Benji?”
Luther and Jane look at each other, and to Ilsa’s surprise, they laugh while picking up their cups.
“Who do you think we are? Some sort of cold blood animals? Of course, we will get on board.” Jane said with her cup in her hand.
“Benji is a very kind person, he deserves happiness, and so does Ethan. I think we are on the same page, Ilsa.” Luther raises his cup to Ilsa and gives her a wink.
Ilsa laughed and raises her own, a soft ‘cling’ sound was made with the two cups and was quickly join by Brandt’s.
“Then let’s begin the mission,” Brandt said with a nonchalant voice and a tug of a smile at the corner of his lips, while Ilsa grins wholeheartedly.
She cannot be happier with the decision of dragging Benji to the Drama society at the beginning of the year. He has made some amazing friends and met the person of his life there. Things will only get better from here.

The Groose AU pt2
Groose: “so what is this?”
Impa eating with chopsticks: “Sheikah survival rations, they are extremely nutritious and have a long shelf life”
Groose struggling with chopsticks: “but it’s so bland do you have anything else?”
Impa: “No 💢, I wasn’t planning on accommodating another person…I have some salt if you want to add that”
—————A few days later—————
Groose humming to himself as he cooks something over a fire
Impa: “what are you doing?”
Groose: “well I found a pond and got some fish, then I found a sweet fruit and cooked it with some of those rations and made a sweet rice”
Impa: “oh?”
Groose: “yeah so here ya go” he holds up the cooked fish in sweet rice
Impa slowly takes a bite as Groose waits for her reaction
Impa inner voice: “I can’t let him know this is the best thing I’ve eaten in years”
Groose: “so how is it?”
Impa: “it’s . . . adequate” she smiles
——————Back to old Impa—————
Old Impa: “That was only the start of all the wonderful dishes he made”
Zelda: “He always likes to help in the kitchen at the academy, as long as no one is looking”
Link: “Remember last Loft Feast? Those stuff pumpkin bites were to die for!”
