hope this isn't a bother but what exactly is your form of journaling called? where you make collages with whatever you're interested in be it a kpop, ghibli films, etc? i really want to get into it and get more inspiration but i don't know what to search for. thank you for reading and for sharing your art. it's so inspiring

not a bother at all! ask me whatever you want. for me it’s just journaling, i don’t this there’s an specific term for what i do, it’s definitely not bullet journaling or study notes, but it doesn’t fall into any categories either. what i would definitely suggest is to find accounts on instagram and curate some creators that you find inspiring. but also, don’t feel pressure to follow anyone’s lead, the fun thing about journaling is for you to create your own creative process and experiment. but i do know that it’s pretty tough at first. check out who im currently following on instagram as a start, and see who are they following and repeat! that’s honestly the method i always use to find new people and new ways of journaling. for starters, here’s a list of some creators who’s work i enjoy (again, just a reference, it would be amazing if you could branch out and seek accounts for yourself!):

i know i haven’t posted any journal spreads on tumblr lately... it’s just really disheartening when you see your captions edited out or people reposting your work without credit. i know that comes with the territory when you show your work out there. i just hope in 2020 we can show just a little decency to creators. please.
