Ekubo possessing Serizawa while he’s getting a haircut by Reigen because “It’s not that big of a deal, why do you keep getting all red when Reigen touches you?? He’s just cutting your hair!”

and proceeding to squirm and make the most embarrassing noises as Reigen runs his fingers through his hair, turns his head this way and that with a guiding hand, idly hums into his ear as he trims.

Reigen is so amused at how utterly strung out and pleased Serizawa/Ekubo looks that he also gives him a neck/shoulder massage as well. He can’t help but wonder what the offices around them think of the loud noises that Ekubo is letting so easily slip out of Serizawa’s lips.

Ekubo can’t look at him for a week because of how embarrassed he is for acting like that but Reigen thinks it’s super cute and a huge ego boost.

"Hold still..."

She holds, forehead resting against the cool wet tile of the shower wall, and breathes as Fang delicately wipes down the angry-red web of fresh-healing wounds. It's superficial, mostly, tiny bits of residual shrapnel that had found the chinks in her shield spell's armor.

It doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt-- and she'd learned long ago that the healing hurt worse than the injury half the time.

No one is gentle with curatives in field medicine, and she hadn't been bleeding out, so they had dumped a potion down her throat, and that is always cold and relentless. Impersonal, thy name is mass-produced medicine.

At least it had kept her from bleeding against the train seat on their way back home.

Fang gets down near the middle of her spine, where the worst of it sits-- Xu hisses and endures the scrape of the washcloth.

"Okay," she says over the rush of the water, once the last pinkish swirl of her blood goes down the drain, and takes the cloth and soap from her wife. "Now you."

something about Dazai being comfortable enough around Chuuya to be vulnerable and let him see his genuine reactions (especially his genuine shock) as he processes out loud is SO SO IMPORTANT TO ME

plus Chuuya not being shocked to see the genius at work tells us this isn’t the first time he’s seen Dazai actively figuring things out in real time…

the way Chuuya knows Dazai's nervous habits— noticing that Dazai is worried, and subtly checking on him. the way Dazai drops his facade in favor of putting all of his focus into the mental game at hand is such an obvious sign of trust & closeness for someone like Dazai, whose facade is his main form of defense

how they interact with each other in the downtimes when there’s nobody watching…

all i can think is, look how far they’ve come since they were 16 when Dazai couldn’t trust anyone with his plans. how even now, Dazai is always putting up his “all according to plan” front, even with the agency. how Chuuya is the one person we’ve seen him truly drop the mask around, and Chuuya doesn’t bat an eye. even their banter is ongoing, but subdued.
