szóval az úgy volt, hogy aszonta a barátom nekem sms-ben, hogy gyere el a koncertre, ráteszlek a vip-listára. Sose voltam még vip listán, és annak ellenére, hogy a jóember nem kifejezetten az én műfajomban pendlizik, meg úgyse járok sehova, gondoltam ez vicces lesz. Sőt, ha már ennyi év alatt sem érintett meg az Aucklandi éjszakai (underground?) világ, ne csak velem történjen, elhívtam a lányom, aki már mehet kocsmába. Óvatosságképpen megnéztem a khm, venue weboldalát is, ott azt állították, hogy kb. 50 ember fér be, de erről majd később.

Szóval fogtuk magunkat és elsuhantunk a festői Pt. Chevalierbe, annak is a dodgy részébe (a többi része az rendben van, sőt egy része kifejezetten pijo), ahol ez a vendéglátóipari helység egyből a pékség mellett szolgál szórakozóhelyül az értő közönség számára.

Azt megszokja az ember, hogy itt mindenki úgy néz ki ahogy csak bír, úgyhogy nagyon kevés dolog lepi meg, és a közönség itt is változatos volt, ami nem baj persze, sőt. A hely egy bárpultból áll meg az utcán van kiülős része, belül meg hát... amit a képen látsz, abba az állítólagos ötven emberbe beleértendő a zenekar által elfoglalt rész is.. Mivel a formáció még nem tart ott mint az AC/DC, a közönség jobbára hozzátartozók és barátok voltak de legalább otthonos volt az egész hörgős-zúzós-csirkedarálós metál. A zene is sokkal jobb volt mit amire felkészültem lélekben btw.

Aztán hazafele a gyerekkel azon morfondíroztunk, hogy melyik is volt az un. peak moment-je az estének, amikor az énekes úr Nerf gunokat osztott ki a közönségnek és magának, majd dalolgatás közben ő, a pultos néni és a műélvezők egymást lövöldözték a kis szivacsizékkel (bevallom erről videóm is van), vagy az amikor az énekes úr - aki akkora már félmeztelenre hörögte magát - felmászott a bárpultra és onnan ordított a közönségre (ahol ács kollégái pogóztak békésen) miközben a pultos néni szemrebbenés nélkül, faarccal keverte a koktélokat a zord hardcore rajongóknak és szeretteiknek. Kiváló időtöltés volt.

👎🏻 Past-senger - I was excited for but this one but it ended up being unwatchable for me. Cooper and Marc are an interesting pair and I was debating hanging on for them but the production quality ended up being a dealbreaker for me. It’s one of the cheapest looking productions I’ve ever seen, it looks like it was filmed & edited by kindergarteners. The cast + acting is solid but even they couldn’t save it for me. Dropped.

👎🏻 Love Syndrome - Same goes for this one pretty much. I decided to give it a go because I was curious about Frank’s BL comeback but my god it’s terrible. It’s cheap, the plot is strange and the characters are annoying. And what is up with that wig??? I have no words. I can see how this is a spinoff of Unforgotten Night as the quality is similar but with the difference that I liked Itt and Day a lot better in UN. Instantly dropped.

I’m not gonna lie, the more I look into Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s own natal charts, the more I GET ITT. I truly do.

At first they were an oddly matched couple to me. I didn’t quite understand why this relationship exactly would be a serious, long-term match or marriage. It didn’t make much sense.

But Pisces Sun and Capricorn Sun can be a quite good match on its own, but if you discard this fact for a moment, her Sun is also at a Virgo degree?? So we see this nice Virgo Pisces polarity going on and her having lot of Virgo placements and his Ascendant is at a Virgo degree. And there’s even more in terms of Saturn etc.

Makes so much sense that Brooklyn married into a lot of money (so obvious by his Taurus over the 8th house) and that her family’s wealth is even richer than Brooklyn’s. This also tells me why he want to be seen as “the Peltz Beckhams”, he’s a team player and wants to be seen as a unit by others due to his Libra Ascendant and Taurus over the 8th house, he simply values partnerships and its effects on his own identity (Aries Venus).

I hate to be the first to say it, more so because I was so sceptic at first, but I think they gonna last much longer than we all might anticipate.

How many of us are Melrose Place fans? Heather Locklear, one of the stars of the show, portrays Amanda Woodward–the beautiful but dangerous blonde who has schemed and connived her way to the top. Several seasons ago, Amanda purchased the apartment complex Melrose Place and found it an unlimited source of lovers, enemies and potential clients for her advertising business. Amanda is extremely demanding and when anyone crosses her there’s hell to pay.

Maybe the producers of the series were thinking of Debra McMichael when they created the character of Amanda Woodward.

A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Debra grew up with three brothers and a sister in what she calls an average family. Her mother was a nurse and her father worked in a foundry and in her free time the high school cheerleader liked to ride horses on their 10-acre spread. But she dreamed of a career in television and movies.

“Growing up, my parents were very protective, and they didn’t even want me to become a cheerleader,” Debra revealed on a telephone interview. “But I snuck out and did it anyway, and there wasn’t much they could do about itt. From there, I got involved in beauty pageants because I thought it would be fun to dress up in beautiful gowns.”

Debra went on to become Miss Illinois America and Miss Texas USA. In 1985 while on a Chicago flight Debra met the mother of her future husband, then-Chicago Bears football star Steve McMichael. After meeting on a blind date, the two hit it off and eventually married. It must have been like winning the lottery for the Southern belle. In her own words, their lifestyle was like “the Super Bowl every year.” Money May not buy happiness, but it certainly helped Debra open a few doors.

The beauty made certain that wherever Steve went, she was a star as well. As a result of their marriage, Debra was featured on ESPN and HBO, numerous sports talk programs and Oprah Winfrey’s show on two occasions. In addition, Debra appeared in half a dozen television commercials, two of country singing star George Strait’s music videos and landed roles in films such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre IV.

“My second appearance on Oprah was the best,” Debra recalls. “The topic was ‘How do you handle your mate being a sex symbol.’ Well, Steve was the NFL star, but I was the one who was the sex symbol on the show.”

When Steve entered World Championship Wrestling, it wasn’t long before Debra accompanied him. The woman who came from Tuscaloosa with the dream of making it in show business must have fallen in love with the bright lights and the big city. After all, she was turning more heads than her husband.

In the South is where Debra also first met Jeff Jarrett. Without much hesitation, McMichael quickly cast aside her husband for a successful business relationship with Jarrett. Her marriage to Steve deteriorated and they soon divorced. Debra followed her protege to the World Wrestling Federation within a year.

After debuting on RAW, McMichael quickly asserted her power. Proving she was adobe the gyrations of Val Venis when she resisted his advances–something other “ladies” would jump at–Debra turned the table and played Val! While the former beauty queen pretended to be interested in him, Venus left himself wide open to an attack by Jarrett. Other women superstars are no threat to Debra either. After Terri Runnels confronted McMichael over what she had done, the business woman simply shrugged it off like a fly. Once McMichael gets a reaction out of someone–male or female–they’re little more than pawns in her game. In the big picture, the beauty knows that all who cross her will have to pay a price down the road.

Jarrett’s recent battle with Al Snow is another example of how Debra combines intelligence and beauty. After learning that Head had an eye for the ladies–and Debra in particular–McMichael did everything to take advantage of the situation. Soon Head was completely out of the fight, thanks to a shrewd strategy and her provocative attire. Debra knows what men want and using that to her advantage is just one of her many skills.

McMichael is equally clever in her business dealings. According to sources, proper to signing a contract with the Federation Debra made it clear that she would be the only one controlling her business dealings. Thanks to her connections in both entertainment and business, she seems to have dirt on anyone who dares to challenge her. But one wonders what might happen if this beauty queen ever hinges for more. Would she cast aside Jarrett, like her former husband, to further her own career?

After all, Amanda has no problem deceiving her long-time clients for the prospect of power and wealth on Melrose Place. Why would Debra do Otherwise?

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Debra McMichael debuted alongside long-time client Jeff Jarrett on the October 19 RAW from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During Harrett’s bout with Steve Blackman, Al Snow attempted to attack the former Intercontinental Champion, but McMichael served as a beautiful distraction! With Snow and Head completely out of the fight, Debra’s protege was free to lay Al out with his guitar!

On the November 1 Sunday Night HEAT from Austin, Texas, the former beauty pageant winner turned the tables on Val Venis–feigning interest in the adult film star’s gyrations, but actually leaving him wide open to an attack by Jarrett! When Terri Runnels confronted Debra about her actions, the business woman could not have cared less about what Terri had to say! This beauty uses everyone, male and female, to get what she wants! Debra once again showed her lethal mix of brains and beauty on the November 9 RAW from Dallas, Texas during Al Snow’s match. Originally slated to be Snow vs. Tiger Ali, The rich Indian offered up Babu as Al’s opponent instead! During the bout, McMichael appeared at ringside and held Head in her arms, playing up to “their” interest in beautiful women. Once again, with Head out of the match, Tiger Ali took advantage of the situation, sneaking back into the ring and scoring the win over the J.O.B. Squad leader.

First ever piece of digital art! I’m sure I’ll look back on this after I actually figure out what I’m doing and think it’s super cringe, but right now I’m pretty happy with it. I had a lot of fun and learned a bunch of new things.

Anyways, tada! I introduce to you In This Together au Venus! Bishop escaped with her during the fall of TCRI. She grew up living off the land in abandoned farm house they found and was homeschooled by Bishop who she calls dad.

Curious and rather quiet

Spends a lot of time in her own world

Legit zero social skills since she grew up with no one around but an alien psyborge, but she’s kind and thoughtful by nature as well as very observant

No filter though, this kid will ask the weirdest and/or most personal questions with no concept of ‘some people are closer than others and you can’t just ask people you barely know those kinds of things’

Isn’t actually autistic but might come off that way having never had the opportunity to learn social ques or body language

Might be the only mutant in the world who has no problem being a mutant since she grew up away from all the hatred from humans and knows she was intentionally and lovingly designed by Bishop

Trying to find good venues in town. Turns out there’s a fucking lot of them. Gonna keep this updated so that I know where to look when I want to go lookin’

The Mission : Find a place that I could reasonably go to every weekend, if I really wanted to. Consistently good music, interesting crowd, serves booze, no children. As of 4/8 unfulfilled.

TG - Great when it’s great. Alright when it’s not. I like the feel of this place. Events seem pretty frequent but not all of them are really to my taste. It’s like a 4.5 on a good night and then a 3 otherwise.

RB - Interesting! I’ve been once and the music was great. Felt pretty comfortable. Though, the crowd was a bit thin. Seems pretty intermittent with their shows, too. I’ll give it a tentative 4/5.

FSDB - Weird! But kind of in a cool way. I like the vibes. Seems to attract an older crowd, though. The layout doesn’t make much for a social environment, either. But they have acts pretty much every night, it seems. I think I wouldn’t go here alone again, but it might be fun to bring others. 3.5/5

WB - Man. I really wanted to like this place. They’re always playing fun industrial music and have a weird horror movie on at all times. It’s got vibes. They have some neat events here but I’ve also seen some really terrible music. It’s a 2 from me.

TW - Another tough one. I have a lot of fondness in my heart for this place. I really cut my teeth here, back in the day. The music slams. Thing is, it’s dry and all ages. Really not what I’m looking for in a night out in this day and age, especially if I’m driving all that way. It’s a 5/5 in my heart but a 2/5 in my soul.

DPS - Not sure what the fuck is up with this place, on multiple fronts. Their social media presence seems to be non-existent. Sounds like sometimes they have a bar and sometimes they don’t. Are they even open on days when they don’t have a show? How can this place afford to stay open at all? ???/5

The Addamses are a close-knit extended family with decidedly macabre interests and supernatural abilities. No explanation for their powers is explicitly given in the series.

This series depicts the Addams on a cross-country road trip, exploring the United States in their Victorian-style creepy camper that resembles their mansion. Along the way, they stop off at various locations and venues. They inadvertently cause mayhem wherever they go due to their unusual interests and mannerisms, their willingness to trust those who probably shouldn't be trusted, and their getting swept up in criminal schemes or problems without their knowledge.

My Rating: 10/10

Ah, I love the Addams family so much! I pretty much love every possible rendition of it. It's really hard for me to dislike any Addams material. I do think this cartoon version is really good but I think the 90s one might be a bit better. That being said, I don't really have anything negative to say about this cartoon. I love it, and I think you would too.

yeah it hurts, but eventually the pain fades and you're left with some cute piercings. keep in mind that you do have to keep up with cleaning/disinfecting and that healing times vary depending on the person. if it still sounds worth it all things considered, then fuck yeah, get those piercings boo
