Forever thinking about how if Regulus were to die, James would love him enough to move on and let go, never letting Regulus' memory be tainted by his death. His star was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, why should James let it be tainted? To him, Regulus deserved to be remembered beautifully and lovingly.

But Regulus wouldn't, Blacks are stubborn after all, and he would cling to James' memory. He has to. His sun was one of the best things to ever happen in his dark and grueling life. Why would he want to let that go? Regulus is selfish, yes, but James was everything to him, and he wasn't willing to let that go. Not yet.
