tw: Examples of reblog bait/people trying to guilt others into reblogging stuff. I am not actually saying the things below, they're just examples that I have seen.

I fucking hate when people say stuff like this. Especially when it's on a generally good post with valuable information. On the one hand I want to share that information because it could genuinely help someone; on the other, I don't want to spread this type of guilt-tripping and shaming and potentially trigger someone else like me. It's a lose-lose situation. No matter what I do, I am going to feel guilty. No matter what I do, I will feel like a terrible person. It sucks and I just wish people would stop doing this. I know it's shocking, but it is actually possible to make an important and useful post without guilting everyone that sees it into sharing.

Thinking about the time I lost a game of Overwatch and I was so mad about it that I genuinely considered getting into shit with the other team in chat and then realized that it was a colossal waste of my living breathing Human Time and uninstalled Overwatch instead because it was only making me angry.

And then thought about the OTHER time when I was on TikTok and realized I was Not Enjoying Myself and was, in fact, seeing so many sad videos and fake influencer ads that I felt Truly Despondent and then just…Deleted it.

Imo I want my social media /general media experience to be a pleasant break from real world and I get to decide what I get to cull to make that a reality for myself. I highly reccomended it! Life has improved considerably!

I feel like star wars never really goes into what it would be like to be the parent of a force sensitive during the prequel era. Like imagine you have a child and you love that child and then you find out that, in a year or so, your child will be taken away from you and you will likely never know them or even meet them again. The pain that would be to go through and they never dwell on it. Missed opportunity methinks.

When you have to find out what flavor a berry is in the Pokemon world so you can figure out if a pokemon with a specific nature that you chose for plot and character reasons would realistically be eating that berry but for some reason none of the lists are telling you the flavor and only want to tell you the effect.

It's not even the worst thing I've had to do.

The hours that went into planning movesets and natures and abilities and planning when they would evolve or learn a certain move, only for nearly all of that to be scrapped AND the addition of an entire team of 6 that needs to be planned on top of the other teams that need to be redone.

The agony I felt when I realized that everything had to go. That the work that saved me in high school had changed. That I would have to do another playthrough with exact replica teams, down to the nature, even breeding to get egg moves. Yes, that's something I did.

To be a writer is to stay in hell because the flames are cool.
