Are We Just Friends?
Best Friend! Kim Taeyoung x reader
Genre(s): Best Friend to lovers, non-idol au, fluff I guess??? some angst because I couldn’t resist, Maybe slightly suggestive if you squint, and mentions of some of the other members of cravity
Warning(s): swearing, weed use, but that’s about it
Summary: Your best friend invites you to hang out late at night; that’s expected, since you usually hang out at night, but what you didn’t you didn’t expect was him to tell you something that has been on his mind recently
A/N: I AM IN LOVE WITH KIM TAEYOUNG. Okay but actually, I just really wanted to write this because I’m a self-indulgent fic writer and I want to hang out with Youngtae so badly bruh... So I’m writing this now. I hope you enjoy :)
Tumblr media
HE IS SO PRETTY !!!!
Dumbass: I’m outside loser :p
You quickly slipped your old fleece jacket on before stepping out into the crisp cool night. It was late; later than you would usually hang out.
But with Taeyoung’s busy work schedule, you were just glad you were able to go see him. His junky grey car sat idling beside the curb; you could always hear it before you could see it, probably due to the shitty transmission or problems with the wheel bearings that Taeyoung didn’t have the money to fix.
He worked at your town’s local grocery store, mostly stocking shelves. He said it was only until he could find something better, but three years later he still spends almost everyday arranging boxes in the back and accounting for the shipments.
“Hey nerd, what’s the plan?” You said stepping into the car and closing the door behind you. He was wearing a simple black tee-shirt and a pair of baggy jeans. He also had the bracelet you gave him for his birthday wrapped around his wrist. It was a simple silver chain, but you had an almost identical one that you wore everyday.
“Wow, not even a ‘how are you’?” Taeyoung huffed, shaking his head playfully at you, “Straight to business I see...” You couldn’t help the smile the crept up onto you face as you rolled you eyes at him.
“Okay sorry,” You said sarcastically, going to buckle up your seat belt, “How are you?” “I’m good, thanks for asking.” Taeyoung said flatly, grinning softly at you before putting his hands on his steering wheel, “Is it okay if we go down to the river? Or is it too spooky for you this late?”
You lived in a small town out in the middle of nowhere; the population was low, mostly just families that had been there for generations and the occasional newcomer coming in for work. It was tucked up in the hills and surrounded by woods; It also bordered a river, which was a hot spot for people to visit in the summer to escape the blistering heat. Even though it wasn’t too hot now, it would still be nice to sit out there in the shroud of night and get a nice summer breeze off the edge of the water.
“That sounds fine dude,” You replied, tugging at the sleeves of your jacket, “But it wouldn’t be this late if you would have invited me out sooner.”
“Sorry, some of us have a job.” Taeyoung scoffed, putting his car in drive and pulling away from your house. Without looking away from the road, he tosses his phone into your lap, “You have to DJ because I have to make sure we don’t hit anything.”
“roger that.” You hummed, scrolling through Taeyoung’s Spotify to press shuffle on a playlist titled ‘The Jams’. The song didn’t really matter, since it was just background noise anyways.
“How was work today? You were there pretty late tonight huh?” You asked only for Taeyoung to groan dramatically.
“For some reason, Serim’s dad ordered a double shipment of a bunch of our items, so I had spent ages counting them out,” Taeyoung huffed, stopping at a red light and turning to you, “Why did he do that to me?! When Serim hooked me up with this shitty job at his dad’s grocery store, I thought it was supposed to be fun!”
Taeyoung started waving  his hands around as he ranted. You couldn’t help but grin; it was a habit he had that you noticed almost immediately after becoming friends. You think it must just be from him getting too worked up over stuff, because you also noticed he did it when he was excited as well.
“I thought I was supposed to be chill because Mr. Park has always been super chill when we go to their house to hang.” Taeyoung continued, “But nooo! When I work for him, he orders a double shipment out of the blue or asks me to count everything again ‘just to be sure’. I swear he purposely makes me stay longer at work.”
“Youngtae,” You hummed, pointing out the front window at the traffic lights, “Green.” Taeyoung let out a sigh before pressing on the gas.
“If you hate it so much, why do you stay working there?” You asked, rolling down the window to let the cool night air in. Taeyoung approaches the edge of town, turning down the dirt road that would lead you both to the river bank.
“I heard the gas station Minhee work at is looking for someone. You could ask him to help you out.” You suggested, earning a  “mmh-hmm” in response from Taeyoung.
“Maybe, but I’m pretty sure the owner hates me for shoplifting candies when we were in middle school.” He said sheepishly, cringing at the memory and pulling off the road; he drove through the long grass to the edge of the river before putting his car in park.
“Besides, I don’t want to be in this hellhole for much longer.” Taeyoung confessed, turning his car off and taking his seat belt off.
“No?” You replied, taking your seat belt off too, opting to lean the seat back a bit more before continuing in a teasing tone, “This place doesn’t tickle your fancy?”
“Not at all,” Taeyoung chuckled, pushing his dark hair out of his face, “You guys made being here manageable, but I can’t stand being here. I feel like I’m going to be stuck.”
“I get that,” You said, staring at your hands in your lap, “We all feel the same, I think...”
“Do you have your pen on you?” Taeyoung suddenly asked. You silently pulled it out of your pocket and handed it to him. He takes a hit of it before frowning.
“What flavour of cart is this? It tastes like ass.” Taeyoung complained, handing the dab pen back to you. You take a hit of it too, humming as you let the smoke fill your lungs.
“Its blackberry I think..?” You replied, bringing the pen up to your eyes to look at it. You shrug, taking another hit of it, “I wanted to try something new. Besides, it’ s not that bad.”
Taeyoung took it from your grasp before placing it between his lips. His eyebrows furrowed as he inhaled with a disgusted look on his face.
“Remind me to never buy blackberry.” He grumbled, giving it back to you as you giggled at him. The two of you sat in silence for a moment. You glanced at Taeyoung’s side profile, as he was seemingly staring out into nothingness.
“Did you hear Seongmin got into university?” Taeyoung broke the silence, and you nodded. He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel while thinking, before leaning back, “I’m happy for him. He moves into the city sometime at the end of august. He asked me and a few of the guys if we’ll drive him in and help him move stuff into the dorm.”
“That’s really wonderful for him,” You said genuinely, eyes drifting away from Taeyoung to look out to where he was staring at. You could see the reflection of the water from the light of the moon, as it was pretty clear that night. You turned back to Taeyoung, trying to read his expression, “don’t you think its wonderful?”
“Yeah, of course.” Taeyoung said, smiling at you weakly before taking a deep breath, “Its just... I’ll miss him, y’know? I think it’s one of the big reason I haven’t left yet. I’d miss you guys too much...”
“Yeah, I understand what you mean.” You said, looking out your open window, “But I think it’ll be okay.”
Taeyoung looked at you, but you were leaned away from him against the window, closing your eyes just to bask in the night atmosphere. He could barely see you in this light, but your figure looked calm and relaxed in the light of the moon.
“You’re not worried about drifting apart?” Taeyoung asked, anxiety laced through his tone as he fidgeted in his seat. You glanced at him before sitting up in your seat.
“Not at all.” You said simply, smiling softly and brushing your hand through your hair, “I think if we all put in a effort to talk or text regularly, no distance could force our little group apart.”
You turn to face Taeyoung, who chewed his bottom lip nervously. His eyes shone like diamonds from the reflection of the sky, and you couldn’t help the grin that came across your face.
“It’s all about doing your part to nurture the relationship, y’know?” You concluded, taking your pen out and having one last hit of it before throwing it haphazardly in the cup holder.
“I guess you’re right... I’m just scared because it’ll be really different.” Taeyoung hummed. He picked at his nails, peeling the polish you did a week ago off them.
“Different doesn’t mean bad,” You replied, before smiling playfully and grabbing his hand to stop him from picking off the nail polish, “Hey, don’t pick off all my hard work!” Taeyoung chuckled at you, looking down at his fingernails and then back at you.
“Sorry.” He said and laced his fingers in between yours, “You’re right. everything will be okay. Besides, we will all move at some point, right?” You hummed in agreement, turning to look out the window again at the river.
Taeyoung’s hand was warm in yours; he felt clammy from the summer humidity, but it fit almost perfectly in yours. Like it was meant to belong there...
You sat in a comfortable silence for a few moments, nothing heard but the sound of crickets in the reeds by the river and the quiet melody of the song playing on Taeyoung’s phone.
That’s how it was with Taeyoung, comfortable.
You and him had always been close, you’d even go as far as saying he was your best friend in your little group of friends. But more recently, you’d been feeling a bit awkward around Taeyoung after an incident that happened that planted this annoying thought in the back of your head...
~
Jungmo had a party about a month ago at his house; His parents were out of town that weekend, so of course all of your friends were invited, plus a few other people you graduated with. Well, of course that lead to a bunch more people showing up (people you didn’t really know), but nobody really minded at the end of the day, since the more the merrier for it.
You, Taeyoung and a few of your other friends were sitting out in the backyard, overall having a good time. There were a few other people around, but you didn’t really notice to much; you were absolutely high at the time, as was Taeyoung and the boys from your friend group which were sitting with you.
“No you’re not listening to me (Y/N)!” Woobin shouted, taking slow, long blinks while putting his hands up in defense, “You would need to go to the boat, Like they do in the movie.”
“no no! I’d just swim around until the flood ended,” You argued, crossing your arms, “Besides, they didn’t even get to the boat in the movie, they just stood up on a rock and the water went away.”
“But the water only went away because of that dumbass squirrel and it’s acorn!” Woobin said with a huff, “Besides, you’ll get tired after swimming for a while. The only way to survive is getting on the boat.”
“What are you two arguing over? I can hear you yelling from inside...” Allen said with a drunken giggle, closing the patio door behind him as he sat down and cracked open the can of beer in his hand.
“How we would survive if we were in Ice Age, The Meltdown.” Taeyoung explained, grinning as he tossed his dab pen to Allen, “Ruby insists you’d die without getting to the boat and (Y/N) thinks they could just swim around until the water went away.”
“You’re both wrong and stupid,” Wonjin said playfully, wagging his finger around the circle before tapping on his head, “I’d just climb up onto the ice wall honestly.” You all let out exclamations in protest, talking about the water coming from the ice wall and Allen let out a hearty laugh at your antics.
“Youngtae,” You huffed in a whiny voice, leaning your head on his shoulder and sticking your lip out in a pout, “You think I could swim to survive, right?”
“If we are going based on the events of the movie,” Taeyoung hummed, tapping his chin clumsily while pretending to think, “I think you could swim for long enough to survive.”
“Ha!” You shouted, sticking your finger in Woobin’s face with a satisfied smile, “See? Youngtae agrees with me, which means I win!” You giggled happily and leaned more into Taeyoung, who slung his arm around your shoulder lazily.
“Whatever, I’m not listening to dumb and dumber.” Woobin said while rolling his eyes. You and Taeyoung immediately began bicker on who was dumb and who was dumber.
“I’m going in to get something to eat, anyone wanna come or need me to bring anything?” Woobin stood from his spot on the lawn and stretching his arms up over his head. Wonjin murmured something about chips while laying on his back and counting the blades of grass near his face. Allen shook his head no, before taking a sip of the drink he had in his hand.
“I wanna come! I have to pee anyways.” Taeyoung cheered, lifting you off of him to stand up. You grabbed onto Taeyoung’s arm and asked for a drink of water, to which Taeyoung acknowledged with a ‘roger that!’; then the two boys went inside, closing the patio door behind them leaving you with Wonjin and Allen and the few strangers from before. It was a girl you didn’t recognize accompanied by a guy you went to high school with, but didn’t really talk to, since he was a few grades above you.
“Hey guys, I think I took too much weed.” Wonjin said with a sigh, flicking the grass lazily, “My eyes feel like they are made of liquid and my body feels like it weighs a million pounds.”
“My mouth is just super dry...” You said, smacking your lips and touching your tongue with your index finger, “My thongue theels like thandpaper”
“You guys should have just had alcohol instead then,” Allen boasted, grabbing your arm to take your finger out of your mouth. He let out a little giggle, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully, “I mean, I had waaaaaayyy too much so I’m not any better off.”
“You probably came outside to make sure you didn’t puke on Jungmo’s carpet...” You hummed, earning a ‘bingo’ from Allen, who chuckled along with you before taking another swig from his beer and then setting the can down in the grass.
“You’ll be fine, Taeyoung is bringing you water for your precious tongue.” Wonjin said and sat up, pulling his phone out and turning it on only to put it back in his pocket. He then smiles gently to himself and snickering, “And Ruby is bringing me chips so I’ll be fine too, hehe....”
“You guys didn’t need anything, right?” Allen asked the strangers sitting off to the side. You turned to look at them and giving them both a polite smile, which they reciprocated.
“No we’re good.” The dude said simply, turning to the girl beside him and kissing her cheek with a grin. She leaned further into him as he pulled her closer, “Right baby?”
“Yeah, we are good.” She smiled at him before looking at you sweetly, “So, how long have you been dating?”
“....Huh?” You asked, furrowing your eyebrows at her, “Dating who?”
Just then, The patio door opened to reveal Woobin with a bag of tortilla chips and Taeyoung with two glasses of water in his hand.
“We have come bearing gifts!” Woobin cheered, throwing the bag of chips down onto the grass only for it to be snatched up quickly by Wonjin. Taeyoung gave you the glass gingerly, before sitting back down beside you with his own glass.
“What happened while we were gone?” Taeyoung asked, looking around at all the members in the little group.
“I was just asking your partner how long you two had been dating for?” The girl said, nodding her head towards you. You felt your eyes widen and your face heat up, as you quickly stared down at the grass. The girl turned to the boy beside her and placed a quick kiss on his lips, “Me and Christopher have been together for only a few months now, but it feel like its been forever. I was just wondering how long have you been dating for?”
“Me and (Y/N).... Uhhh...” Taeyoung mumbled, clearly taken aback by this girl’s question. He scooted a bit away from you, brushing his hair out of his face. The other boys looked between the two of you awkwardly, as you kept your eyes trained in your lap and the grass below.
“We aren’t a couple actually.... Just good friends, that’s all.” Taeyoung replied, embarrassment clear by the tone of his voice and the redness rising from his neck up to his ears. The girl had gone pale, letting out a quiet ‘oh’ before silence fell over the group.
“I’m sorry I assumed.” She apologized quickly, “You guys are just so touchy with each other and I saw the matching bracelets so I assumed. I’m really sorry.”
“It’s fine, you didn’t know.” Taeyoung laughed awkwardly, picking at his fingernails and looking anywhere but you beside him. You couldn’t bring yourself to look up at all. You felt your stomach sink and a horrible feeling of nausea washed over you as you tapped the edge of your water glass.
It went silent again, and you felt like everyone was holding their breath. You hated it. Were you and Taeyoung too clingy? Did people really think you guys were dating. There is no way you’d ever date Taeyoung, he’s your best friend! Why did you feel like your stomach was doing back flips and your face was on fire? You hated this whole situation; it was all too much for you right now.
You lazily checked your phone, pretending to look at the time before you downed your glass of water. You stood up, earning the attention of the rest of the group.
“Its pretty late and I had too much weed, so I’m going to go to bed.” You said with a weak smile, nodding to the couple of strangers, “Nice to meet you both.”
“Are you sure, (Y/N)?” Allen asked, standing up too. He gave you a subtle look of pity as you nodded, plastering a fake smile on your face. You felt like you were hyperventilating with all the eyes on you. It was all to much for you in this state.
“Good night boys.” You mumbled before retreating back inside, not sparing a glance at Taeyoung. Why did this situation make you so anxious. And why did this make you question your relationship with Taeyoung? Was your relationship perceived as more then friends by most people? Aren’t friends clingy anyways, or was it to a different degree you and Taeyoung? But most importantly, why did the idea of dating him not sound so bad to you when you really thought about it? You were going to be sick if you thought about it longer.
It was too much, so you pushed those thoughts as you retreated to Jungmo’s spare room and lock the door behind you, not to come out until the next morning, where nobody brought it up, not even Taeyoung.
Even when you hung out with him a week later, and then last week too, Taeyoung didn’t mention the incident at all, but you both knew it caused a change in the comfortability of your relationship...
~
It felt strange to hold Taeyoung’s hand after the incident. You weren’t sure what happened after you went to bed, but you were feeling a sense a relief that he did hold your hand when he needed it. It was a sign that maybe your relationship could be going back to normal maybe? Taeyoung brushed his thumb subconsciously over the back of your hand. Now buried in the relief arose a strange feeling, the one where your stomach was doing flips and your started to feel a bit warmer and that little thought of dating him crawled its way out of the back of your brain.
“Your hand is super sweaty dude.” Taeyoung laughed, giving it a little squeeze. You let out a laugh too, releasing his hand and wiping yours on your pant leg.
“Sorry, I guess I’m a little hot right now.” You confessed, “I shouldn’t have worn this shitty jacket...”
“I love that jacket, even though it’s so old and shitty,” Taeyoung said playfully, leaning over to grab near the pocket and smiling when he felt the crispy outline of a burn hole, “I remember when we all went camping last summer and you got hit by a stray spark from the campfire and it burned this hole in it. I remember you standing up so fast and me and you patting it out before it could burn you.” He chuckled at the memory, looking up at your face as you felt around the burn hole too.
“That was fun, minus me almost getting lit on fire.” You said grinning at the fond memory before looking at Taeyoung in the eyes, “We should go camping again sometime. Although, preferably when it’s not so hot outside.”
“If you’re really that hot, we could go for a swim in the river?” Taeyoung suggested nonchalantly, the corners of his mouth curling up into a cat-like grin.
“I’d love to, but do I look like I’m wearing a swimsuit stupid?” You chuckled, gesturing to your body before laughing a bit at the idea.
“Not a problem!” Taeyoung hummed, before surprising you by suddenly tugging his shirt up and over his head. Your eyes went from his bare torso back up to his face with a look of shock.
“It’s nothing you haven’t seen before because being in your underwear is basically the same thing as being in a swimsuit,” Taeyoung deduced, opening his car door and starting to undo his belt. His torso seemed to glow in the moonlight from the sheen sweat from the summer heat; he must have been just as hot as you were, but somehow you started to feel it even worse now that Taeyoung was more exposed. You couldn’t take your eyes off him and you felt your heart squeeze a bit, which was increasingly concerning.
“You coming or..?” Taeyoung asked with a smile, leaning down to make eye contact with you. His hands dipped into the top of his jeans, however he did not pull them down yet. You realized he was waiting for you to agree before doing so, which made you feel much more comfortable.
You thought for a moment. You knew this wasn’t a good idea, as the little voice in your head that arose form the party was getting stronger and you could feel the rational part of your head be clouded over by not only your other thoughts, but also the haze of your weed kicking in. You chewed you lip nervously before smiling softly back at Taeyoung.
“Fine Youngtae. Fuck it. It’s too hot” You sighed, taking your jacket off before stepping out of the car too. You piled all your clothing (besides your undergarments) haphazardly on the passenger seat and placed your shoes on the car floor in front of the seat. Now that you were out of the car in nothing but your underwear, you felt the coolness of the night air. However, you still felt just as hot, if not worse. You couldn’t shake the nervous feeling in the pit of your stomach or the beating of your heart the felt like it was going a million miles an hour from adrenaline.
Your nervousness must have showed, because you could hear a hearty laugh come from your best friend as he walked around to the front of the car.
“Relax a bit dude, it’s just me here.” He said, brushing his hair back once more. You refused to look anywhere south of his belly button, for your own sanity, but you did notice his boxers being a ugly plaid pattern from your peripheral.
“If I would have known you’d be seeing my underwear, I’d have worn nicer ones...” You said, trying to sound as casual as possible, but inside your body was on fire. Your brain was shutting down and your body felt jittery and nervous.
“Don’t worry about that, you look fine.” Taeyoung complimented, making your stomach drop. Taeyoung walked past you, going down to the very edge and walking along it, calling after you. “Come on, slow poke! The shallow area should be around here..”
You shook your head, trying to get a hold of yourself; taking a deep breath and following Taeyoung to the shallow part where people usually swam during the day. He stepped off the bank and into the water, having it come up to his ankles when he let out a few curses and curled his fingers into fists at his side.
“Brrrr! Its freezing!” He cried out, wincing at you as you laughed at how cute he was, “I’m going to become a Young-sicle after this I’m sure...”
“I guess I’ll be a (Y/N)-sicle then,” You said, stepping in beside him and feeling a shiver immediately run up your legs from the cold water. Your eyes meet Taeyoung and you both burst out in laughter at the knowing look of biting cold that you both are experiencing.
Taeyoung begins to wade out a bit further, complaining the whole time when you get an evil idea. You follow him, water getting up to around your knees with your grin growing as you close the distance between the two of you, so that you are are now standing maybe a couple feet away from each other again.
“Hey Youngtae!” You called to him to get his attention. He turned to look at you and before he had time to react, you dig your hands into the ice cold water and splash him. He shrieked due to the surprise of water hitting his body and the cool temperature of it of his skin. You laughed at his reaction, quickly doing a few more splashes so he doesn’t have time to recover, getting water all the way up to near his face.
“Quit it! It’s freezing!” He places his hands out to try and block the water from hitting him. Your laughter quickly goes from joyous to scared as he starts wading over to you.
“No wait! I’m sorry!” You said through a fit of giggles, weakly splashing at him to try and keep him away, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Youngtae, don’t!”
“You should have thought about that before you splashed me, stupid.” He giggled back, grabbing onto your arm and pulling you towards him so he can wrap his arms around your frame. You let out a squeal as he lifted you a bit, dragging you into deeper water.
“Youngtae, please don’t! I’m sorry.” You struggled against his iron grip, smacking his arms playfully, but you felt the chuckle leaving his chest as he held you still in the water.
“Sorry,” He hummed sarcastically, “Next time don’t start something you can’t finish.”
With that, Taeyoung quickly lifted you off your feet and promptly dunked you in the water, almost crushing you by laying down over you, just to make sure you couldn’t avoid the icy plunge. You screamed from the cold, while Taeyoung sucked air through his teeth at the freezing water rushing over his back. He let you go and you quickly spun around to face him before smacking him on the shoulder.
“Kim Taeyoung I swear, you’re dead meat!” You scolded while giggling at him. His expression mirrored your own, with only a slight hint of pride residing in his features.
“Hey! You were the one who splashed me first!” Taeyoung laughed, leaning back to sit in the shallow water; he crossed his legs, letting the water comfortably wade just under his collar bones. You mumbled in agreement, letting your laughter die down before you sat beside him.
The cool water was frigid at first, but after a few seconds of getting used to it, it felt refreshing. You let out a sigh of relief, feeling the heat from earlier subside even a little bit as you closed your eyes. You and Taeyoung were silent, just listening to the sound of the running water and the faint tune of Taeyoung’s car radio fill the air.
That is, until you best friend broke the silence.
“Hey, uhm.” He mumbled, causing you to open your eyes and look at him; you almost wished you didn’t. He looked beautiful, hair slightly damp, tan skin shining, soft eyes trained on you with his bottom lip slightly tucked between his teeth.
“I’ve been meaning to talk to you about something.” Taeyoung continued, scooting closer to you, causing the water around the two of you to ripple; much like the butterflies that arrive in your stomach from the possibilities of this conversation.
“What is it?”
“Well, I..... uhm.”
“Youngtae.” You said flatly, expression softening as you reached out for his arm to place a comforting touch to it, “talk to me.”
You could tell Taeyoung was anxious from the way his eyebrows furrowed and how his lips were pulled into a thin line. He had the same look before the talent show in middle school; It was the first time he performed in front of anyone and he was so nervous he almost threw up. But, just like now, you were there for him to make sure he was okay.
Like you’d always be.
He let out a sigh, before looking away from you, “I wanted to talk about what happened.. Y’know... at the party.”
It was your turn to be anxious now, body freezing up before you turned to look away too, focusing on the way the moon reflected off the dark water. Was this it? Did Taeyoung not want to be your friend anymore because of how you acted at the party? Did he think you were disgusted with the possibility of dating him? Would he be weirded out if he found out you felt quite the opposite?
“Look, I’m sorry.” He started out, struggling to find the words, “I know you were really uncomfortable and I.... I should have been more aware of how my behavior can be perceived by others. I know that we are just friends and I shouldn’t be so clingy...”
“Please don’t apologize! You didn’t do anything wrong.” You quickly countered, looking down at the way your body distorted through the water. You wanted nothing more than to drown yourself there.
You were the one who froze up and didn’t say a word. You were the one who left him alone to deal with the situation. You were the one who was slowly growing relationship-changing feelings... “It should be me who is apologizing.”
“For what?!” Taeyoung gasped, whipping his head to look at you.
“For making you think that I was upset with you! For leaving and making it awkward between us.”
“You weren’t upset?”
“No.” You huffed out, feeling your face heat up. You take your cold hands out of the water to pat your cheeks gently as you let out a sigh. Your mind felt cloudy and your heart beat went steady against your chest. You blamed the weed for allowing the truth to tumble out of your mouth, “I should apologize because I’m still making it awkward between us...”
“How so?” He mumbled, eyes burning holes into the side of your face as you looked out at the other shoreline. You heaved a heavy sigh, hanging you head before letting all the true thoughts and feelings you’ve been having spill out.
“Because I can’t stop thinking about how much I love you.” You confessed, words flowing from your lips much easier than you anticipated, “Not in a platonic, ‘we are best friends!’ way, but in a ‘I think about you all the time and want to wake up next to you everyday’ kind of way. I didn’t realize it until the party, but I am in love with you and I maybe always have been.”
The silence was deafening, with the only sound being the thumping of a nervous heart and the rushing of the cold water surrounding you. You drop you head, feeling the weight of what you just said.
Taeyoung was quiet beside you, seemingly from shock or being deep in thought.
You allowed the silence only for a moment before you turned to look at him. You couldn’t bear the uneasiness any longer.
“I’m so sorry.” You mumbled, your gaze catching his, “I know we are just frien-”
Taeyoung quickly cut you off by rushing forward, placing a hasty kiss on you lips. It was so quick, you weren’t even sure if it happened as you just stared at him, too stunned to speak.
He...
He kissed you?
“I’m sorry, I should have asked before I did that!” Taeyoung huffed out, running one of his wet hands through his hair as he smiled, mouth slightly agape. You noticed the redness creeping up his neck and cheeks.
“I... I’m just.” He stutters, brain seemingly short-circuited before he cleared his throat and took a deep breath to collect himself, “I just never thought you’d like me back.” “You... like me?” You asked, heart leaping into your throat.
“Well duh!” He giggled, “I mean, I thought I was pretty obvious about my feelings for you, but I just assumed you never saw me as anything more than a friend. And I’m more than happy to just be a part of your life.”
“Wow, I must’ve be blind...”
“No, just stupid.”
“Okay, that’s a bit uncalled for.”
“Sorry.” Taeyoung hummed, shifting to tuck his knees up against his chest as he wrapped his arms around them. He chewed his bottom lip nervously as his eyes darted down to the dark murky water, “So..?”
“So?”
“Now what?”
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t know!” Taeyoung huffed exasperated , throwing his hands in the air, causing the water around the two of you to ripple. “Are we still just friends or....” He let his voice trail on, giving you a hopeful look, “Does this change everything?”
“I mean,” You spoke softly, feeling the heat rise to your face. Why was it all of a sudden so hard to talk to Taeyoung? You felt like you were choking on the words as you cleared your throat and meekly whispered, “I wouldn’t mind a change...”
Taeyoung nodded, smile slowly spreading across his face as he registered what you said. He turned to you, scooting a bit closer so that your shoulders touched and your faces were a few inches apart.
“I think I’d like that too.” He whispered, voice just barely audible as his eyes wandered your facial features. Without another word more, you slowly leaned in, giving him plenty of time to move away before you placed you lips against his.
You were felling so many things at this moment; joy, excitement, nervousness. But above all else, you felt right.
Being here with Taeyoung, kissing him and letting yourself love him just felt right. Like it was all falling into place and meant to be. You thought about your future with your best friend and how that was all going to change; but you had hope that it would be for the better.

i’d like to request a fluffy angst (angsty fluff) with taeyoung from cravity please!! 🥰🥰 have a good day!
imbroglio | k.ty
# . this actually took forever please forgive me *cry*. just now starting to write on tumblr again, so i hope you enjoy it!
# . pairing : kim taeyoung x female reader
# . genre/warnings : angst, fluff, moderate language,  attempt of sexual assault
# . word count : 1.1k
the waves crashed against the shore calmly as a group of high school seniors sat around a warm campfire, under the light of the moon. they sat in silence, voices sore from singing their hearts out together. hyeongjun and his girlfriend cuddled up in blankets together, minhee and seongmin clung to each other for warmth, and everyone else sat on the log benches as they wrapped blankets around themselves.
y/n looked up and met taeyoung’s gaze through the orange flames. she gave him a small, sleepy little smile. he smiled back. he thought she was the absolute cutest thing to ever walk the earth.
“imma head in, i’m tired. goodnight everyone,” serim yawned, stretching his limbs before heading to the boys’ tent.
“me too,” minhee and seongmin said in unison. and eventually everyone was heading in, even all the girls into their own tent.
but two remained. y/n and taeyoung.
”aren’t you gonna go to bed?” taeyoung raised an eyebrow with a smile.
”not tired,” she shrugged, looking up at the stars. “plus i love looking at the stars.”
”you’re weird,” taeyoung laughed.
“maybe i am, but i would rather be called weird than normal. normal is… boring,” she explained.
taeyoung shook his head. she was a really interesting girl. that’s why he befriended her in ninth grade, and stayed her friend for three years. she was like nobody he’d even known. she was too special to lose.
”taeyoung?” y/n began.
”yeah?” he tilted his head.
”do you see yourself getting into a relationship anytime soon?”
the question caught him completely off guard. he swallowed the lump in his throat. “uh… not really, why?”
“i don’t know, i’ve just been thinking about it lately,” she answered. it went quiet until she spoke up again. “taeyoung?”
”yes?”
”what if i told you that i liked you?”
this question nearly made him jump, it was so sudden and unexpected. “w-what? you like me?”
she frowned. “uh… y-yes…” she admitted. “what about you?”
he thought to himself. sure he liked her, but he had never even imagined her in any way other than a friend. but he hated to hurt her feelings. he was stuck. and when he didn’t answer her, she got the message very clearly.
“oh…” she smiled sadly and looked down. she wanted to stay and be brave, but her heart broke, and the tears fell. “sorry,” her voice broke, before she left as quick as she could, going to the girls’ tents.
“y/n-“ he stretched his hand out, but she was gone. he felt awful. the way his heart hurt when she was gone confused him. he had never felt that way before. it was the effect she had on him that he wasn’t even aware of.
the next day, y/n refused to see taeyoung. she didn’t want to make their situation anymore awkward, and she didn’t want to break down again. but it was hard, especially since taeyoung was trying to find her, and talk with her.
”where’s y/n?” taeyoung asked danielle, one of y/n’s closest friends.
”i don’t know, but i do know she doesn’t want to see you, so stay away from her,” danielle instructed. “or else you deal with me.”
taeyoung mentally rolled his eyes before leaving. he wasn’t scared of danielle. but he was worried for y/n. he didn’t want to make her feel so heartbroken the way he did.
y/n angrily skipped rocks into the ocean waters as her eyes stung with angry tears. she wasn’t mad at anyone but herself. she should’ve kept quiet, and then she might not have got herself into this imbroglio.
just then, taeyoung’s friend, kyungsun, stepped into her area. “hey.”
”hi,” she said just above a whisper before throwing another rock.
“you look sad,” kyunsun frowned, sitting beside her. feeling bold, he moved a piece of hair behind her ear. “why?”
”I’d rather not talk about it,” she answered, moving away from him, but he only scooted closer to her.
”i can make you happier, you know,” he said, moving his hand to rest on her exposed thigh.
“stop it kyungsun,” she told him off, standing up. but when she did, he grabbed her wrist and turned her around, quickly kissing her lips with unholy desires. “ahh!” she screamed trying to pull her face away from his, but he overpowered her.
”hey!” yelled a familiar voice in the distance. taeyoung. “get the hell away from her!”
kyungsun looked up at taeyoung in fear, quickly letting go of y/n. “t-taeyoung! this isn’t what you think it is, i swear-“
“sure looks like what i think it is,” taeyoung growled. he quickly pushed him away from y/n and held her close to him. “i can’t believe i ever called someone like you a friend. get out of here. before i tell.”
kyungsun gulped down before sprinting away from the scene.
taeyoung sighed before turning to y/n. “you alright? did he hurt you?” he glanced over her body.
”i’m okay,” she whispered, moving away from him. she didn’t want to fall even further for him when she knew exactly how he felt about her.
“y/n-“ he frowned.
”no taeyoung, i don’t want to hear you lie to me just to make me feel better,” she snapped.
”but that’s not-“
”please!” she yelled, looking him straight in the eyes. “i don’t want anything but the truth.”
”but this is the truth… y/n, i didn’t say i liked you back, because at the time, i thought i didn't. but seeing you with another guy like that, it- it sparked something inside me that i’ve never felt before. i like you a lot, i’m sorry it took so long for me to realize it,” he explained.
she looked at him understandingly. “it’s okay,” she smiled. “sorry for being dramatic, i shouldn’t have left like that,” she laughed, looking at the sand beneath their feet. her gaze was raised when taeyoung’s hand came under her chin, their eyes reconnecting.
”so can i kiss you yet or are you going to keep talking?” he raised an eyebrow with a smirk.
y/n didn't answer and leaned her face towards his. he took it as a ‘yes’ and quickly captured her lips, one hand on her face and one around her waist. she grabbed his face and kissed him deeper, hands beginning to entangle in his soft brown locks.
when they eventually pulled away, taeyoung lovingly gazed down at her. “you’re so cute, you know that?”
”shut up.”

Hi there Bunny~
It's finally nice to see another writer who writes for SWF2 🥹. May I ask for a Fluffy Tatter X Fem reader imagine? Maybe something like reader gets into a minor accident? (If it's not too much to ask)
And Tatter take cares of you, just pretty much babies you.
-awisespirit 🍵
Omg hiii! I had a lot of fun with this one so thanks for the request bunny🫶🏿🫶🏿. I didn’t know what kinda accident you were referring to so I just took some creative liberties on that part 😁😁

You should get the award for the clumsiest bitch on Earth.
You’re currently laying on the floor, commiserating in your own misery. Why, you ask? Well, when you’re having the worst day of your life, laying on the floor is really the best thing to do.
First, you had prepared to go to campus to take your final exam for your least favorite class, Math, with your least favorite teacher, Kim Eun Soo, only to find out that it had started thirty minutes earlier, and you only had two hours left to take a 200 question exam.
Then, you get called in by your boss to come in to the shop at the last minute, because one of your coworkers quit and there was no one else to pick up the shift. On the way there, you wasted hot coffee all over your lap, and had to use one of the pants in the store, which is definitely “coming out of your paycheck”, according to your lovely boss. You then proceed to be berated by a customer for not having the size of pants she wanted, because you had taken the last pair just five minutes prior.
As you bowed in apology, your coworker was coming by with the grabber used to get clothes off of the higher racks, and it hit you in the back of the head when you were standing up, causing you to smack your head on the counter in front of you.
So, you proceeded to spend the rest of your shift with a raging headache and once that was done, you had to drive all the way back home with your dirty jeans that were making your car smell like old coffee.
You were so ready to lay down in bed and decompose silently, but of course, luck just wasn’t on your side, because as you entered your kitchen to fix yourself some water, the kitchen sink didn’t want to work.
You would turn it on and off, but nothing would come out, which was worrying because you didn’t feel like spending money to get it fixed, thirstiness be damned. Just when you were about to give up and go about your business, the spout suddenly burst, shooting water right in your face. You screamed as water rushed out, spilling all over the counter, the floor, and of course, you.
Thankfully, you were able to shut it off quickly, but as you were wiping off the counters, you ended up slipping, foot caving in and falling to the floor.
Which is how you got here, entire body hurting and just about the end of your rope.
“Should I just die,” you say, deadpan, as you stare up at the ceiling. Maybe this could be your new career, a stay-on-the-floor girlfriend while your partner goes out and makes money for the both of you.
You could just mold into the floor and Taeyoung can use you as a decoration piece for the living room or something.
That’s it! That’s what you’ll do instead of moving. Taeyoung would understand. Of course she will. If she loves you she will.
You faintly hear the sound of the door opening, and your girlfriend’s lovely voice as it rings throughout the air. Her voice is almost enough to make all of the pain of today go away. Almost.
“(Y/n), are you home?” She calls out, and you can hear the jingle of her keys as she sets them down.
“In here,” you answer, and you hear her footsteps as they get closer.
“Babe, where are you?” Her confused tone of voice makes you giggle a bit.
“Down here,” her head immediately comes around the corner as she spots you. “Careful, floor’s wet,” you warn as she cautiously steps closer.
Tatter takes in the wet floor and your disheveled state, bewilderment clear on her face. You’re completely soaked, hair in shambles and tired look in your eyes.
“What are you… what happened,” Taeyoung says, blonde hair framing her face as she looks down at you with furrowed eyebrows.
“This is my new job. I’m going to become one with the floor so you can use me as a decoration piece for the living room,” you close your eyes and continue to lay there. “Human life isn’t for me, y’know? I wasn’t meant to be a part of actual society, so you’re just gonna have to take care of me from now on.” You say, body deflating even more.
“Okay…?” Is the only thing Taeyoung can say back to you, not knowing what to make out of this. “Do you want to tell me why, maybe?”
You only stay silent, feeling like if you talk about it then you’ll just end up crying.
“Do you want to maybe get off the floor, then?” You shake your head, staying where you are. Your girlfriend wasn’t having it though.
“Alright, get up,” Tatter says, grabbing your arm and pulling you up, only for you to hiss in pain.
Your body does actually hurt, all jokes aside. Taeyoung immediately drops you after hearing you protest, only for your body to hit the floor again, which is just… perfect.
“Oh shit, babe I’m so sorry,” Tatter panics, crouching down but not knowing where to touch you. “Fuck, is your head ok? Where does it hurt–”
Tatter cuts herself off when you start to sniffle, tears forming in your eyes.
“Shit, baby, I really didn’t mean it, ok! I was only trying to get you off the floor and,” Tatter rambles as she helps you sit up, and you immediately push your face into her chest, tears flowing freely as it all becomes too much.
You wrap your arms around Tatter, who immediately reciprocates the affection.
“Come on, baby, let’s get you cleaned up, ok?” You say nothing, letting her try and move you, only for you to wince when you put pressure on your ankle. Tater notices immediately. “Is it your ankle, hun?” You just nod, only for you to gasp as Tatter picks you up with ease, carrying you to the bedroom as you look down at her in shock. “What,” she says, smiling cheekily at you, “why do you think I hit the gym so hard? It’s so I can carry you like a princess!” She bounces you in her arms, and loves the way you laugh, burying your face in her neck as it begins to heat up.
Tatter enters the bathroom and sits you on the edge of the tub, turning on the water after plugging it in. As you watch it fill up, Tatter adds soap to the water and swirls it around with her hand.
She puts your hair in a high bun and then proceeds to peel off your wet clothes, chucking them in a corner with a faux disgusted look on her face.
“There,” she says once all of them are removed, “Now you can relax properly.” She kisses you on the cheek and holds you hand as you get in the tub, warm water immediately soothing your sore skin. She turns off the tub, grabbing a rag to wash you off with. She runs the rag over your shoulders, your chest, your back, and your legs with care and tenderness, and it makes you want to cry. You let it all happen, body feeling heavier and heavier with each passing moment.
Tatter admires you as your eyes flutter shut. She admires your long neck as you tip your head back, the way your chest moves slowly up and down as you breathe so steadily. She admires the way the water glides over you, making your skin glisten in the light. She runs her hands from your shoulders to your chest, giving you a small kiss on your neck as well.
“My baby’s so pretty like this,” another kiss on your cheek, “so peaceful and relaxed,” her lips meet yours, slow and steady. She starts kneading your shoulders, eyes furrowed at the tension there. “Oh, this day must’ve been awful for you. You’re so stressed out…” Tatter watches you nod, leaning into her every touch. Her fingers meet the back of your neck, rubbing her thumbs into it gently. You sigh, craning your head forward.
“Taeyoung,” you whimper, hand reaching up to clasp hers. Your girlfriend grabs your hand and places a kiss on your palm, feeling your pulse beat through your wrist.
“My lovely girl,” she rubs your back in circles, kissing up your arm and on your shoulder. Her hands reach down, rubbing your waist and back up again. “You need a break,” she states, wiping off the soap from your body.
“Can you join me, please?” You ask, looking up at her with hazy eyes.
Taeyoung smiles, never one to deny you much. She strips in front of you, knowing that your eyes will never leave her body. Your hand reaches out to grab onto her hip, planting a kiss on her thigh. You scoot up to let her fit into the tub, and allow her to wrap her arms around you and pull you close to her. Tatter plants a bunch of kisses on your neck and shoulders, squeezing your sides again. You rub your hands up and down her thighs, humming softly.
Tatter tilts your head up, lips meeting yours in sweet bliss. The only sound that fills the bathroom is the sound of lips smacking against each other and the sound of bodies moving in the water, and it’s music to both of your ears.
You start panting into her mouth as Tatter’s hands roam your body, but Tatter pulls away all too soon. She nuzzles her nose into your cheek, cooing at you.
“Let’s just relax for now, ok? We’ll have time for that later,” she whispers into your lips, giving you one last peck before she starts to wash herself off, you helping a bit too.
After the tub is drained, Tatter sits you on the edge of the tub and dries you off first, drying each part of you individually. She wraps you in the towel, lets your hair down, and grabs a towel for herself as well.
“How’s your ankle, love?” She bends down and takes your right foot in her hand, thumb rubbing over your slightly swollen ankle. You huff at the contact.
“I’m sure it’ll be better in the morning. Just a little accident, that’s all,” you say, voice wavering. “Sink attacked me earlier.”
Tatter chuckles, placing a kiss to your ankle and lifting you into her arms once more. “Attacked you? How so?”
“Wouldn’t work when I tried to get something to drink earlier, sprayed me with water when I gave up,” she sets you down on the bed softly. “Then I proceeded to fall on the floor and hit my head for the second time today,” you watch as Tatter goes to grab some clothes for you both, two oversized shirts and underwear.
“What was the first?” Tatter says, walking back over to you.
“Coworker hit me in the head with a pole and I ended up hitting my head on the counter at work,” Tatter winces in response, imagining the scenario now. “No underwear for me?” You ask as she sits you up, putting your shirt on.
“Easier access for later,” she says cheekily, giving you a small wink. Your face heats up and you look away.
Tatter dresses herself, climbing into bed afterwards.
“And not to mention that my boss called me in at the last minute, and so I had to speed from my final –which I was late to–, and I wasted coffee on myself,” you rub at your thighs, happy you didn’t get any burns on you. Your poor jeans, though.
Tatter sighs, hugging you from the side. “Oh, my poor baby, the world had it out for you, I swear.” She kisses you on the cheek, hoping it’ll brighten your mood, which it does.
“I swear, Taeyoung, I must’ve had terrible karma in my past life. Simply terrible,” you pout, curling into her.
“Well, let’s hope you do enough good in this one to not be so unlucky next time,” she gives you a mischievous grin as she places more kisses on your cheeks and neck. “I know I can get a lot of good karma tonight,” she declares, playing with the hem of your shirt.
“Oh,” you quirk an eyebrow at her, wrapping your arms around her neck once she leans over you. “And how do you plan on doing that?”
“By making you call for God all night long, of course,” she kisses you as you both giggle, you playfully tapping her on her shoulder.
“You’re so corny, baby,” you say through your giggles.
“I tell nothing but the truth. Now lay down and let me make you feel better, ok?” She says impatiently, and you do as you’re told, letting your girlfriend take care of you for the rest of the night.

[ NCT 127 Being Caught In A Compromising Position ] -
Warnings: 18 + Content
AFAB Reader
Masterlist
➳ Taeil -
It’s going to start with a huge sigh because honestly, he’s a little mad about being interrupted - he’s almost thirty, he ought to be able to bone his girlfriend without getting disturbed
It’s probably going to be Yuta who opens the doorway unannounced and when he makes some inappropriate comment, Taeil finally blushes and tells him to get out of the room
Taeil is a little flustered about the whole thing, but once he’s locked the bedroom door, he is pretty happy to continue
When he walks into the kitchen a little later, you can bet Yuta has told someone else about the interruption and they send a few teasing comments Taeil’s way, but they bounce right off (seriously, I think Taeil has just learnt to ignore 99% of what comes out of the mouths of his friends)
➳ Johnny -
Johnny’s biggest concern is making sure you’re comfortable and covered so he’ll actually be pretty slow to look at whoever just opened the door
He’s going to sigh quietly and whilst he’s a little annoyed (a lot because it was just beginning to get steamy), he won’t show it - in fact, he’ll probably go after whoever walked in to make sure everything is alright because he does try and be responsible
Once he’s sure though he’ll absolutely end the conversation like: ‘Okay, if that’s all I’m going to go and finish what I started.’ He partly says it as a joke, partly to stop anyone interrupting again and he really doesn’t care how hard they blush.
He picks up right where he left off as if nothing had happened at all
➳ Taeyong -
First and foremost he’s going to be embarrassed - scarlet-faced and jumping away from you as if he isn’t a grown man in the privacy of his bedroom, as if it wasn’t the fault of whoever just burst in unannounced
Taeyong is absolutely the sort to feel the need to apologise - he’ll apologise to you for putting you in such a situation (even though you’re more than okay with getting hot and heavy again) before he goes in search of whoever walked in to apologise to them too
He’s shy and awkward and the mood is very much ruined by the time he returns and it’s probably enough to put him off getting down and dirty in the dorm for a while
➳ Yuta -
Yuta doesn’t care at all, like at all. The only reason he’s stopping is because you’re underneath him slapping his shoulder.
He’s going to pull away real slow, a frown already set into his features ready for whoever just walked in and the hands that had been wandering beneath your shirt aren’t going to go far
Honestly whoever was at the door is gone the moment they realise just what they walked in on - they’ve all known Yuta long enough to know that after cursing them out he’ll go right back to what he was doing, whether they’re still watching or not
Yuta really just doesn’t care - he’s got his girlfriend half-naked beneath him and unless the dorm is on fire, or his manager is calling for him, the world can wait
➳ Doyoung -
Doyoung will deny anything less than PG was happening beneath his duvet to the day he dies
He hears the door opening and forces a few inches between your bodies, entirely oblivious to the state of his ruffled hair, the creases your fingers have twisted into his t-shirt
He is calm and collected, cooly laughing at whatever the person says to him and he is convinced they are none the wiser to what they just walked in on
When the intruder leaves once more, Doyoung is a little proud of his performance so you definitely have to swat him on the shoulder, but he doesn't leave you waiting long before he drapes himself over you again
➳ Jaehyun -
This happens after a long overdue date night - Jaehyun somehow persuaded his group mates to give you the entire dorm for a few hours (it’s been a while and he has a lot to catch up on)
It’s almost two am and Jaehyun is soft and slow until he hears the door open
He’s another whose first concern is making sure nothing inappropriate is on display, but he’s going to be caught somewhere between embarrassment and frustration and will probably quietly ask the person if something is the matter (seriously, if you’re going at it, I don’t even think he’d pull out)
Whoever it is, they’re slow to leave, groaning: ‘You’ve had all evening.’ (It’s probably poor Jungwoo who just wants to go to sleep)
Jaehyun replies something like: ‘I know, I know, just get out.’
And whilst the pink flare across his features betrays his fluster, all it’ll take is a look from you and he’ll go right back to it, only quicker and harder
➳ Jungwoo -
Jungwoo is number one on the play-it-dumb list - someone comes in and he immediately jumps away from you, as if whoever just interrupted hasn’t already seen what was happening - his hands up your shirt, his tongue down your throat
He’ll probably stumble over some excuse as to what was really going on, all the while his cheeks are burning like they never have before
After a moment he’ll run out of things to say and will flee beneath the duvet and all he can manage for the rest of the evening is a cuddle (he even avoids leaving his bed in case he runs into anyone, he is so embarrassed)
➳ Mark -
Mark freezes and you can bet his blood runs cold the moment he meets the eye of whoever just opened the door
Where Johnny immediately flips you over or pulls the blanket over your body so he can deal with it, Mark absolutely leaves you in the lurch, staring at whichever group mate is responsible for the disturbance without saying anything
Eventually, he’ll give an awkward laugh and be like: ‘Yo, uh, can I help?’ (Please no one ever put Mark in this situation, I think he’d die)
➳ Haechan -
Is Haechan embarrassed? Probably a little. But does he show it? Absolutely not.
He instantly turns whiny, calling out whoever just opened the door (Haechan is another one who won’t pull out unless absolutely necessary and you’re both covered so he’s not going anywhere)
He might be the youngest in 127, but he doesn’t care, in fact, it probably makes him care even less
Afterwards, when you’re dozing in his bed and he’s playing a game on his computer, Johnny will walk in and make some comment about the earlier intrusion, but Haechan just smirks
He definitely has the attitude: Yeah I’m Haechan and yeah I just did my girlfriend

Pairing; Kim Taeyoung (Tatter) x fem reader
Summary: A month after the breakup, Tatter can't help but feel lost, even if it was her fault. Until she see u again.
Warnings; angst, argument. Tatter confused with her feelings for Bada. Themes of cheating but no one cheats (I think so). Grammar mistakes
WC: 4.4k
AN: So instead of post something for my other works here I am writing some angst with Tatter :): But enjoy
The screams outside the backstage area echoed throughout the place; the producers were running around trying to get everything ready, and the teams were practicing for the last time before the presentations that would define the end of the program. It was not a normal night of a normal day. It was finally the end of the second season of the famous Street Woman Fighter program, and everyone was nervous about it. Tatter was one of them.
Taeyoung was by far one of the dancers who had attracted attention since the beginning of the show. People started to know her name, and faster than she expected, she became quite popular. However, along with that came the pressure, and the closer the moment of truth came, the more nervous she became. She was distanced from the conversation that her companions were having at her side; she dedicated herself to moving her body, practicing the first choreography that they had to present in the final. However, despite the shouts of the audience and the busy atmosphere that surrounded her, Lusher's sudden words pierced her ears, stopping completely what she was doing.
“What did you just say?” She asked. Lusher, who had her back to her, turned to look at her, along with her other teammates. “Seoyoung, what did you say?”
“I invited y/n to the final," Lusher answered after a few long seconds, "and she accepted.”
It had been a long time since Tatter had last heard your name. And now that she was finally hearing it again, her heart pounded as hard as the first time you met. She knew that Seoyoung still had contact with you because, after all, you had become best friends; however, she never imagined that Lusher would invite you, let alone that you would accept.
All the girls were silent as they looked at the blonde girl. Tatter didn't respond to Lusher's words; instead, her gaze shifted to Bada, who was already scowling at her in anticipation of her reaction. With a slight pain in her chest, she turned and walked in the direction of the stairs leading to the stage. She sat down on one of the steps and bit her lower lip, beginning to feel a little nervous. In an attempt to calm herself down, she brought her hand to her wrist, taking between her fingers the small silver charm that bore the initials of your name. It had been the first gift you had given her on your first anniversary.
“Are you all right?” Bada appeared at her side and took a seat next to her. The girls had moved a little away.
“If it was all my fault, then why do I feel so bad every time I remember her?”
Everything was ruined one night a month ago. When Taeyoung opened the door to the apartment you shared and found you sitting on the couch, your legs pulled up to your chest, and you were staring at the TV even though your eyes weren't really paying attention. The clock had barely struck two in the morning, and Tatter was surprised.
“Shouldn't you be in bed by now?” She asked in a soft tone of voice as she walked in your direction with the only thought of taking your hand and heading to the room you shared.
“Where were you?" You looked at Taeyoung, and she stopped walking and stood in the middle of the room, frowning as she noticed the strange glint in your eyes, wet eyelashes, and puffy eyelids. You had cried, and she knew it.
     “I was in practice.”
“Lusher said that the practice ended at ten," you replied, pressing the power button on your phone over and over in an attempt to calm the rapid palpitations of your heart. "You were with her?”
“Who are you talking about?” Taeyoung put down her practice bag on the sofa and then sat down on the glass coffee table in front of you.
“You know who I'm talking about." You didn't know if it was the tone of voice you used, but the expression on Taeyoung's face became heavy, as if she knew what was about to come and was already fed up with the fight that hadn't even started yet.
“Can't I go out with my best friend?" The question alone made you frown in disgust. Tatter took a long breath, got up, and walked in the direction of the kitchen in search of a glass of water.
“You know that's not the problem." With your heart pounding in your chest, you got up to follow her. “The problem is that Bada seems to be owning your time more and more. And it's getting damn tiring...”
“Don't curse because you know I hate it," she interrupted, and you instantly felt tears prick your eyes as you noticed that Taeyoung had ignored all the other things you said. "Why are you making a big deal out of this?”
“This isn't about me, Taeyoung!” You finally snapped, and Tatter looked at you with a confused frown. “You don't even remember?” The blonde swallowed thickly, starting to feel guilty at the disappointed expression on your face. “It was going to be the first stupid dinner we were going to have this whole month; you even invited your mom, and she accepted even though you were coming so late. She left after midnight when I told her you were with Bada after watching all the damn videos on Twitter. Your mother even apologized to me on your behalf.”
Guilt immediately filled Tatter's body; she left the glass on the sink and walked in your direction, ready to wrap her arms around you. However, as soon as she tried to do so, her arms never reached your body. You held her arms before she managed to do so, and for Taeyoung, the simple action caused a huge pain in her chest. You had never refused any kind of affection from her before, not even if you both had fought or if you were angry about something.
“Are you in love with her, Taeyoung?”
The question took Tatter by surprise, and her eyebrows furrowed as she looked straight into your eyes in confusion and surprise. However, the feeling of guilt became stronger, and she couldn't help but feel that she had been discovered. The truth was that two months ago she had also begun to question herself about the same thing, but she was too afraid to do anything to find an answer to her questions.
“What are you talking about?” She tried to play it cool by taking your hands in hers tightly.
“Stop doing this about me!” you shook your hands, pulling yourself out of her grip. “This is about you—about the lies and all your excuses. About what you won't admit to wanting. You think I don't see it?” Taeyong's eyes flooded with tears, and your cheeks moistened. “Everything you do for her and how you act when you're with her. You like Bada, Taeyoung.”
“Nothing ever happened between Bada and me.”
“I'm not saying that, I know. But it's crossed your mind, hasn't it?”
Tatter couldn't deny it, even if she wanted to. Even though the thoughts had been so fleeting that she could barely remember them, they were still real. At Taeyoung's silence, more tears moistened your cheeks, and when this happened, the blonde pursed her lips, denying with guilt sown on her face. She was going to hug you again, and this time you didn't plan to refuse; however, the ringtone of her phone interrupted the moment. Tatter looked at you for a few seconds before pulling her cell phone out of the jacket she was wearing, and on the screen, you could both read ‘Bada’.
Why Bada was calling Taeyoung in the middle of the night if they had just met? You didn't know, and although you doubted it, neither did Tatter. She stared at you with the cell phone still in her hand. The first call cut out, but almost immediately a second one came in again. You looked at Taeyoung with crystallized eyes, and in your mind, you could only pray that she wouldn't answer the phone. Somehow, it all felt like some kind of test for you. And if Tatter would let her phone ring and decide to try to fix the problem that threatened your relationship, then so would you. But things lately don't seem to be running in your favor.
“Hello?” Taeyoung's trembling voice as she answered the phone warmed your heart, and when she turned away for privacy, you understood everything. She was choosing Bada Lee over you. Again.
You didn't realize how long Taeyoung talked to Bada, but the whole time you stood in the same place, standing by the small kitchen island with your eyes fixed on the picture stuck on the refrigerator. It was a picture of you and Tatter on your first anniversary.
“I have to go” Taeyoung's warm voice caused you to shiver, and the touch of her hand on your shoulder felt strange. But all you could think of was what she meant by having to leave if she had just arrived. “Bada needs me...” and of course, Bada was involved with her decision.
“Do you remember that once, a long time ago, I told you that someday you were going to break my heart?” You said it almost in a whisper, and Tatter's hand trembled on your arm. "But it's my fault. It's my fault for falling for you again and again, even though I know you won't choose me. What does she have that I don't?”
Taeyoung didn't know what to say. She had no idea why, all of a sudden, the feelings she had for Bada started to emerge. You had everything; she loved you more than she loved herself. But somehow her eyes found themselves looking in another direction when she was with you. And even if she tried to stop herself, she wasn't succeeding.
“We'll talk about this when I get back. I promise," Taeyoung spoke with hope in her voice, but she received no response. And without being able to wait any longer, she turned towards the door.
“No, we won't," you said, though Tatter couldn't hear you.
Three hours later, when the clock struck seven in the morning, Taeyoung walked through the apartment door again. She threw her car keys on the living room table and walked to the room you both shared when she didn't found you in the living room or kitchen. Yet you were not there, or anywhere else in the house or apartment complex. Your clothes, your jewelry, and shoes were all gone. The only thing that still remained, were the gifts Taeyoung had given you over the years that you had been together. Also on the bedside table was the red bracelet with the initials of your name on it.
Tatter tried to call you many, many times and tried to reach you by any way possible. But soon her number and social media were blocked, leaving her with no alternative. She even called Lusher, who in a short time had become your best friend, but when the girl answered the phone, she didn't hesitate to lie about you, even though Tatter knew she was doing it. Within hours you disappeared, and no one seemed to know where you were.
After a month, Taeyoung ceased her attempts to communicate. She was still texting you, still calling you, and still frequenting your favorite places to no avail. If you wanted to disappear and hide from her, you had succeeded.
Until that day. The grand finale of the program.
"It's time to go. Let's go. Let's go!" Sowoen appeared next to Bada and Tatter, interrupting the blonde girl's thoughts.
The two girls stood up; Bada walked to one of the producers, while Taeyoung stood next to her teammates in silence. Somehow, the atmosphere had become a little awkward between them. The other girls except for Bada were also keeping in communication with you, but none of them had said it, even though Taeyoung knew it.
"It's your lucky day, Tata." Lusher rounded her shoulders and whispered in her ear. "She didn't agree to go to the party after the finals, but I'll make her go. So I'm giving you a chance to talk to her again."
Seoyoung didn't say another word, and when Tatter was about to answer her, she let go of her shoulders and walked to the stairs. It was finally time for the team to perform in front of the audience. Taeyoung took a long breath and followed her teammates. When she was in front of the crowd of people, she couldn't help but scan her eyes through the entire audience in hopes of seeing you. However, it was difficult due to the number of people, so she gave up and took her position to start the choreography.
While Cockiness was full of sensuality, Praise and Run it were full of feelings. But both were performances that blew you away. The girls had done an amazing job, and when their name was mentioned as the winner, excitement ran through your body, so you helplessly shouted their name along with everyone. Although when your eyes fell on Taeyoung, seeing her crying non-stop with her leader and subleader, your heart squeezed a little. You wanted to go to her, hug her, and tell her she had done amazing. However, it was other arms that held her and other lips that encouraged her.
On stage, Tatter wiped away her tears. She wasn't sure if she was crying because she had won first place in the final or because she saw you in the crowd chanting her name.
The final ended after eleven o'clock at night. Lia Kim had organized a small party in celebration, and as soon as everyone was ready, they left the CJ Entertainment building. Taeyoung took Cheche and Sowoen with her in her car, while Bada was accompanied by Lusher, Kyma, and Minah. The four girls had left a few minutes earlier, as Seoyoung planned to meet you outside the building.
“I'm sure she's already home, Seoyoung," Bada muttered as she looked down the sidewalk for you. “Why don't you call her?”
“I tried, but she's not answering, and she has her Find My IPhone deactivated," answered the girl typing on her phone.
“Why do you have her location?” Kyma got in the middle of the front seats and asked Lusher with a frown, but Lusher just shrugged her shoulders, trying to call you back.
“Wait!” Minah shouted, causing Bada to slow down the car. “Isn't that her?” And Minah was right. Under the dim light of the bus stop, you and five other people were waiting. Bada turned around the corner until she was right in front of you.
“Hey lover” as soon as you heard the voice, you frowned, looking towards the car that was parked in front of you and the girl who had her head out of the window with a beaming smile. “Get in.”
“What?” you answered sharply. “Of course not and move over because here comes the bus.”
“If you don't get in, then we won't move.” Lusher insisted. “Right Bada?” The girl in the other seat looked at you with an apologetic expression on her face.
“Lee Seoyoung move," you spat but she ignored you. "Lee Bada go.”
Bada looked at you with a shrug of her shoulders, a little surprised that you had addressed her after all that had happened. However, she still didn't move her car, and when you noticed that they were all together with Lusher, you had no choice but to open the back door, finding Minah and Kyma with a triumphant smile on their faces.
“I have to work tomorrow," you reported as the car started moving.
“Don't be a liar; you told us yesterday that you were on vacation." As soon as you heard Kyma's words, you rolled your eyes, a little annoyed by the matter.
“You can at least tell me where we are going.”
“To the celebration party at Lia Kim's house.
You knew it; deep inside, you knew that Lusher wasn't going to take no for an answer, and it was clear that all the others—except Taeyoung—were going to act with her. And even if you wanted to get out of Bada Lee's car at that instant and head home, you couldn't do it. And in fact deep down you didn’t want to either. Resigned, you didn't answer Lusher; instead, you leaned your head against the back of the seat, accidentally glancing at the rearview mirror of the car, discovering that Bada was already looking at you in advance. However, as soon as your gazes met, she looked down at the highway again. With a long breath, you closed your eyes, deciding to forget what had happened.
The drive to Lia Kim's house took Bada over forty minutes. When all of you arrived, there was already a line of cars parked at the curb, and when you entered the 1Million leader's house, music flooded through your ears. There were quite a few people—all the contestant girls from the show and one or two companions they had brought along. There was alcohol, but not too much due to the presence of the underage girls. But the atmosphere was still fun.
Kyma and Minah slipped through the crowd to where Cheche and Sowoen were. Bada had walked over to where the Jam Republic girls were and circled the shoulders of a person unknown to you, making you a little curious.
“Who is that?” you asked, pointing to Bada with your chin as you walked behind Lusher in the direction of one of the sofas in the house.
“That's Bada's partner; they've been dating for about three months.” Lusher's answer surprised you, and the girl seemed to notice it instantly: "What? You thought she and Taeyoung started dating when you two broke up?” The girl giggled at your silence and then extended a glass filled with some strange content to you.
After the brief conversation with Lusher, none of you brought up the topic again. After all, throughout the time that passed after the breakup, if you didn't ask about Tatter, none of the girls said anything, and you were grateful for it since you wanted to avoid any contact with her. Although it was kind of stupid since, at that moment, you were at the same party as her, and although at the beginning you found yourself looking for her with your eyes every now and then, after a couple of glasses of alcohol and a long conversation with the girls from 1Million and Deep n' Dap, your mind forgot about her.
But it wasn't the same for Taeyoung; on the other side of the room, leaning against the wall, she had been watching you since you had walked through the door. She was so absorbed in her thoughts that she was completely unaware of the conversation Minah and Cheche were having, not even noticing when Bada approached her. It wasn't until the Bebe leader tapped her on the shoulder that she was able to come back to reality.
“Do you think I should talk to her?” Bada asked hesitantly, scratching her neck as she looked in your direction.
“Why should you talk to her?”
“I don't know; maybe it will help if I'm the one who clears things up for her. Maybe she will talk to you.
      “I don't think that's the...”
And with the thought of fixing Taeyoung's relationship with you, Bada headed in your direction ignoring Tatter. Lusher, who was sitting next to you, was the first one to notice Bada, and she would have found it normal if it weren't for the girl's gaze fixed on you as she clutched the glass bottle in her hand.
“I think we need to talk," she blurted out, gaining stares from the girls and a raised eyebrow from you. “Please.”
You didn't know exactly what to say, so you simply got up from the couch and started walking to the backyard of the house with Bada Lee behind you. As soon as you were under the moonlight, you stopped, both of you not knowing what to say. For a few minutes, you stood there, looking at the plants that decorated the garden. Until Bada decided she had to say something.
“I'm dating someone," she murmured with her eyes fixed on you, staring at you as you frowned and then looked at her.
      “Congratulations?”
“And I think you should talk to Youngtae," she said a little nervously under your gaze. Even if she was older than you, somehow she felt a little intimidated. "I know I'm not the best person to tell you this, but I really think you owe Taeyoung a chance to explain things.
“What makes you think I didn't give her a chance to do so?”
“You left that night without saying anything, and you've ignored her ever since, I think...”
“Look Bada just like you said, you're not the best person to have this conversation.” You interrupted her without wanting to listen to the girl's explanations. Even if it had already been a month since the breakup, you still felt a bit resentful towards Bada, even though she wasn't to blame for anything. “But, give me just one reason to talk with Taeyoung.”
“Nothing happened between me and Tatter," she took a long breath before continuing. “At least not when you were together.”
If Bada thought the words that came out of her mouth would make you want to talk to Taeyoung, she was very wrong. "Nothing happened, at least not when you two were together." The phrase echoed in your head over and over again, creating all the insecurities and bad thoughts you once had. If you had more courage, you would have surely complained to Taeyoung about the short time it had taken her to go into Bada's arms, but you wouldn't, because if you didn't want to see her before, you didn't want to see her now even less.
“Is that supposed to be a reason to talk to Taeyoung?” With the tone of voice you used, Bada immediately understood the result of her words, so she tried to correct it.
“It's not how you're thinking about it," she hastened to say. “A week after you left, Youngtae told me the real reason for the breakup. At first, I didn't understand it because, in my eyes, she never showed any feelings for me, but then she kept apologizing for it and I didn't know what to say. I love Youngtae like my baby sister.” Bada took a moment before continuing. “So I kissed her.”
     “It really doesn't interest me...
“She started crying instantly," Bada interrupted. “Taeyoung cried all night in my apartment because I kissed her and because she got her feelings mixed up. She never liked me, and...”
“How can you say she never liked you? Are you saying that my relationship was ruined because Taeyoung was confused with her feelings?” you asked, a bit stunned by what Bada had just said. You didn't doubt her words, but it was hard to understand that it had all been a mistake. “We could all tell how she was acting with you. You can't come now and tell me that my relationship of three years was ruined by a stupid confusion of feelings.” Bada tried to answer, but her mouth closed as soon as you interrupted her with a gesture. “You don't know how many nights I spent alone because she chose you.”
“I'm being honest with you..." Again, Bada was interrupted, but this time it wasn't you. Bada's eyes looked behind you, so curiously, you turned around, finding the last person you wanted to see at that moment.
Starting to get a little nervous, you turned again in Bada's direction, who, with a pleading look, said a silent "please." Although she didn't even give you time to think about it and respond, she quickly walked back inside the house. Letting out a breath of resignation, you turned again in the direction of Tatter, who was still in the same place, with the wind ruffling his blond hair and his eyes shining.
“I've missed you," was the first thing she said, and then she cut the distance, wrapping her arms around your body and creating a strong embrace that you had been waiting for so long. “I'm sorry for everything that happened that night.”
You didn't know exactly if sorry was what you had wanted to hear all that time. However, when Taeyoung said those words, you calmed down, even though Bada's words were still deep inside your head. It didn't matter what she had explained because the only thing that kept repeating itself was a constant "Nothing happened, at least not when you were together." And even though the words had only served to explain the confusion in Tatter's feelings, jealousy and some doubts still coursed through your body.
If Taeyoung's feelings had been true, then would she and Bada have started a relationship? The answer was clearly no, and you knew it. Bada's relationship and her own words about how she loved Tatter like a sister confirmed it. But still, the insecurity was there.
“Is it true what Bada said?” You didn't return the hug in the first instance, but you couldn't break away either. It had been a long time since Taeyoung had last hugged you, and you missed it. With your arms at your sides, you clenched your fists and laid your cheek on Tatter's shoulder.
“I don't know what Bada said.”
“She said she kissed you." Your voice came out almost in a whisper, and you could feel Tatter hold her breath. “And that your feelings for her had been part of a confusion.”
     “I'm sorry.“
“Did you break my stupid heart because you were confused?” At that moment, your eyes filled with tears as Taeyoung placed one of her hands in your hair, pressing your cheek against her shoulder. “Did we ruin our damn relationship over a stupid thing?”
“Forgive me.”
“Why aren't you scolding me for saying too many curses?”
“You can curse me all you want if it means we'll go back to the way we were before.” Her words made you smile, and by inertia, your arms moved to her waist to reciprocate the hug. “It was my fault for letting my eyes look in another direction when I was with you, and it was my fault for thinking those thoughts meant something else, when they weren't even remotely similar to the thoughts I had when I fell in love with you. I'm sorry for making it seem, through my actions, that we weren't meant for each other.
Taeyoung's words hit deep in your heart, and you felt the need to believe her. So you did.
“It's going to cost you a little more than that to fix things.” You pulled away a little, but without breaking the embrace. Taeyoung nodded with a half-smile. Carefully, you brought one of your hands to her cheeks, wiping the wetness on them. ”Please don't doubt your feelings again because I won't be able to bear it again.
“I won't.”

— ☆ mc'ing with crush!taeyoung
idol gn!reader x cravity taeyoung
genre: fluff, idol!au // warnings: mutual crushing!! who cheered?! just taeyoung being a flirt, did i forget anything...?
author’s note: thank you sooo much!! <3 took me a moment to get inspired for this one but it was so fun to write!! i'm so sane and normal about taeyoung like, that did not make me delusional at all... (★ω★)/ [requested♡]
you let out a sigh of relief as your promotions for your new album have ended after 3 weeks. the past few months have been particularly tiring for you ; you had to prepare for your comeback while being on tour and record the tracks and film the music video as soon as you were back in seoul.
you were so happy to finally be able to rest as your company announced a two-week break for your group after your hectic schedule. unfortunately (or not), you were offered a 6-month contract to host 'after school club' every tuesday!
you show the staff a mixed facial expression at the sudden news. you knew this was a good opportunity to get your group known, especially since your last title track got popular. but that also meant that you were unable to go back to see your family for the holidays. suddenly, something sparked your interest as they were explaining you what the job consisted of ; "who am i going to work with?". you’ve been training alone for quite a long time, seeing all your friends debut before you, so you thought that it wouldn’t be too bad to make some new friends in the industry. "taeyoung from cravity will be working with you, you will get to meet him next week."
friends, you said? you nod at the staff, finding it difficult to hide the light tint of pink creeping up your cheeks. taeyoung and you had in fact already met, without your company knowing about it. you were promoting your debut album on music shows at the same time and randomly met in the hallways. it was still really early in the morning and all of your other teammates were sleeping in the waiting room. you decided to go get a drink from the vending machine just outside the door when you ran into him. he smiled shyly, two cinnamoroll pins still in his hair as he had probably gotten his makeup done just now. he suddenly bowed down, greeting you "hello, i’m taeyoung from cravity". you bowed back and smiled, hinting with your eyes that you were waiting to get yourself a drink. "can i get you something, i accidentally took too much money." what a weird request, you thought. if he has too much money, can't he just keep it for next time? you don’t know why but you found his question quite endearing and accepted the offer.
finally, the live broadcast for your first appearance as a mc is starting in 2 hours. you try to calm yourself down during rehearsal so you can appear as relaxed as possible on camera. however, that was not an easy task since you could basically feel taeyoung’s knee graze against yours when you were sitting together on the sofa, reviewing the ments for today. he was close enough for you to hear his soft breathing and smell his cologne. "you seem to be quite distracted today. nervous?" he asks softly. without you knowing, taeyoung and you have become quite close, close enough for him to notice when your vibe is slightly off. you sigh "i really don’t want to mess this up." he chuckles, "i’m sure you’ll do great. we’ll do great!" he pats your thigh reassuringly. god, was he trying to make you less nervous? while looking at you with such eyes? you had promised yourself to stay as professional as possible with him when you started working together. you didn't want any stupid rumors ruining both of your new careers. but when you see how his eyes shift to your lips with a small grin growing on his face, you wonder ; does he feel the same way about me?
the show went much better than you expected. you happily thank the staff and head back to the waiting room. "you did great taeyoung! i think you're going to gain a lot of fans." you giggle, taking a sip of water and finally feeling your nervousness disappear. "are you not afraid of me stealing yours?" he asks jokingly but with a somehow serious face and you take notice of the abrupt silence that had settled in the room, as you two were alone. he then turns his phone screen towards you, showing how both your names were trending on twitter. you click on the hashtags out of curiosity and suddenly feel your whole face heat up when you see what the netizens were talking about. "first day on the job and people are already shipping us" taeyoung laughs while you were hiding behind your hands, unable to look at him. a few seconds pass and you feel a pair of warm hands coming to rest on top of yours before forcing them off your face. as you open your eyes, you see that taeyoung is standing ridiculously close to you with a stupid smirk painted on his face. "if we kiss now, how many months do you think it'll take for them to find out?" he blurts out, his eyes serious and teasing. "can you keep a secret?"

I imagine tatter (g!p or not) loves receiving head, and will turn into a whiny mess. (You can't change my mind, she gives off bottom energy, like full-on pillow princess)
~N💚
OMG FR tho Anon we think alike 😃
Anytime she gets hard, she'll silently sit beside you. Scooting closer as every minute with a pout. Until to the point your sitting on the edge nearly falling of the bed.
You decided to ask what's wrong, she would be all red eyes hooded as she pointed at her bulge.
"this."
You could see how hard she was through her shorts.
"I need your lips please jagi?"
(。・//ε//・。)(。・//ε//・。)(。・//ε//・。)(。・//ε//・。)
-Would whimper as your lips touched her tip, slowly kissing her cock from the tip to her base and gradually sucking on her balls.
-In the beginning she would let you have your way with her, but as time goes she gets more demanding.
-"Ahn y/n-ah go deeper baby, fuck just like that suck it good."
-"my angel sucking on my dick trying to get me off~ you look so cute with my cock in your mouth."
-Eventually would start thrusting slowly into your mouth making you choke on her a little.
-BUT WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING TO PHYSICALLY HURT YOU, SHE COULD NEVER STAND SEEING HER BABY HURT.
-All in all she's a Pillow Princess to you and only you. She also has her dominant times too.
(But Dom Tatter is a story for another day aye 😉)

I’m so tired of seeing and hearing y’all continuing to bash this man and his band members over analyzing everything they do on social media, including their Instagram stories some of y’all that claim to be army we’re pissed that you thought because he posted the song life goes on and thought it had something to do with that incident that’s happening in Türkiye in Syria right now but once it came out in the news, mind you J-hope and Jimin donated money. Y’all were cool all the sudden today he goes live and told you what happened to on his neck that was a CrossFit issue and even if it wasn’t they are all almost in their 30s they are grown men they are not innocent teenage boys anymore. I don’t get why BTS gets held to a higher standard than any other idol or a celebrity or western celebrity at that. They are human being people that love music like making us happy that they’re afraid of losing their own fans they claim to be fans with fake ass support like if you guys really do not like details or do not trust their heart then maybe this group is not for you because it’s tiring you don’t get tired of people saying the same things to you all day in and day out we know snippets of these men’s lives. If it is not on camera, we do not know anything unless they say something and I actually pray that they never reveal that they have a significant other if y’all are acting like this, we do not deserve these men because the way you talk about Namjoon and the other members when you think they’re less than perfect is ridiculous. Stop with the delusions of thinking these are your boyfriend or husband’s it’s ridiculous. Some of y’all act like children mind the business that pays you. It’s really simple if you don’t got nothing nice to say keep it pushing and moving, some of y’all have conditional love for BTS and it shows it really does 🤦🏾‍♀️

↳ prompt: 4. We slept in the same bed for space reasons but now we’re just waking up and there’s something about your bleary eyes and mussed hair (source)
↳ pairing: taeyoung x gender neutral reader
↳ genre: pure fluff
↳ themes & tropes: best friends to lovers, sharing a bed
↳ warnings: profanity
↳ word count: 687 words
↳ notes: i’m not gonna lie, this has been in my drafts for a year and was written during my immense taeyoung brainrot of august 2021 so at this pt i just want it out of my hands. honestly, i’m surprised i managed to write a drabble so quickly for a guy i only found out about, like, a week before (at the time). this is so self-indulgent that it hurts and i don’t expect anyone to read it (considering my blog is primarily tbz/svt), but if you do, thank you <3 again, my apologies for not being very active :(

Blinking the sleep out of your eyes, you stare up at the hotel ceiling, indulging in the pleasant warmth surrounding you. You roll over onto your side, allowing your eyes to slowly flutter shut in an attempt to catch a few more minutes of sleep. Instead, you find yourself facing your best friend, his arm draped across your waist and both of your legs tangled together underneath the covers.
As you attempt to detangle yourself from his embrace, Taeyoung’s fingers curl into the fabric of your shirt, drawing you closer. Your breath catches in your throat, heart beating erratically when he mumbles something in his sleep that you can’t quite catch. Your nose hovers a mere inch in front of his, so close that you can feel his soft breath tickle your cheek, and your brain turns into static.
You’re not sure when exactly you started having feelings for your best friend, but you do know that once you realized them, you couldn’t help noticing the little things, like the lilt of his laugh or the crinkles in his smile. Glancing down at his slumbering form, you think it’s unfair that someone could possibly look this good in the mornings—and he isn’t even conscious of it! Maybe it’s the way his hair slightly sticks up on one side, or maybe it’s the because his shirt has ridden up to reveal a strip of tan skin above his waist—or maybe it’s the slow smile that spreads across his face as he rubs the sleep out of his bleary eyes, drinking in the sight of you like he can’t believe that you somehow managed to wake up next to him.
“Good morning,” he murmurs, before promptly burying his face back into his pillow.
“Morning,” you respond, propping yourself up on your elbow. You reach out to prod him in the side, and Taeyoung groans in annoyance, turning his back to you. When you extend your hand towards him again, he grasps your wrist tightly, dragging your hand down to the mattress. Rather than trying to struggle against his grip, you press your palm flat against the surface, swinging a leg across his body and planting your knees on either side. Your free hand attempts to poke his cheek once more, only for him to intercept that one too. He tugs you forward, the sudden momentum causing you to tumble into him, chest pressed flush against his.
Taeyoung loosens his hold on you and your heart jackhammers against your chest, eyes tracing over his features.
“You’re so beautiful,” you breathe out before you can stop yourself, absentmindedly threading your fingers through his hair.
Taeyoung gulps, eyes blown wide in surprise. He bites his lip nervously, gaze darting down to your mouth.
“Fuck it,” he says, a soft blush dusting his cheeks as he reaches up and pulls you down for a kiss.
His lips meet yours softly, gently, languidly. Taeyoung kisses you like he has all the time in the world, like he’s waited for this moment his entire life, like he has nothing left to lose. His kiss is a confession, pouring out every unspoken word, every unspoken declaration between the two of you. Taeyoung smiles into the kiss, the corners of his lips pulling upwards against your mouth, and you can’t help but mirror the action.
(You wonder if there’s any way either of you could adequately define your feelings for each other using mere words. You don’t think it’s possible.)
He pulls away from you slowly, a hand reaching up to cup your cheek. There’s a tenderness to his gaze that makes you feel vulnerable, despite the fact that he’s the one baring his heart to you.
Taeyoung hesitates briefly, teeth worrying at his bottom lip. “I love you.”
The phrase is a familiar one, exchanged countless times between the two of you, but never like this. When Taeyoung says those three words at that moment, he says it as your friend, your lover, and your future, all at once.
You rest your forehead against his, pressing a soft peck to his lips. “I love you too.”

You were an amazing teacher, making you the most popular professor on the campus. Your pretty face was just the icing on the cake. Students were often amazed by your teaching methodologies. Your dedication to your profession was appreciable.
Kim Taehyung- the shy backbencher, stayed away from all the social banters. College was like a living hell for him, his worst nightmare. But one thing motivated him to attend the college that was your daily lecture on clinical psychology. The way you made those complex topics seem easier, the way you tried to maximize the participation of all the students and insisted the students research more about the subject mesmerized Taehyung.
As for you, you chose this subject to understand and analyze yourself. Your optimistic approach toward all your students was a major go for them. Well, that was not all. The way you dressed, the teasing low neck you wore to the campus, unaware of the effect it had on the male students as well as the professors. You tried to go with the trend, that's all.
Taehyung hissed lowly when he saw you that morning, your silky smooth hair was tied in a bun while a few stray strands framed your face perfectly. Your glasses sat low on your nose as you walked through the campus, busy scrolling through your phone. Your almond-shaped eyes focused on the screen, but Taehyung, all he could do was wonder what it would feel like to stroke your face, how would your golden-brown skin feel under his fingertips. He adored the rosy blush that coated your cheeks and also the cute mole you had on your philtrum.
"Hey weirdo," Jay laughed at Taehyung, who was pushed down by a couple of other raucous lads.
"Stop troubling me," Taehyung made a feeble attempt to sound harsh.
"Jay, better back off!" You seethed and boy, did he smirk at you?
"Only for you," he left Taehyung to fall back down before making a beeline for the canteen, where you were sure he'd hit on some girl and try to fuck her.
Jay was tall, almost 6'2. His tatted arms were turn-ons for girls, but not for you. He was your least favourite student. You preferred good buoys with gentlemanly behaviour. So, during the last prom when Jay shamelessly walked up to you, hit on you and tried to get in your pants you slapped him across the face and told him to kindly fuck off.
Tumblr media
"Come on Y/n, I swear I'll make you feel so good," his speech was slurred, a result of his non-stop alcohol consumption.
"If you any ounce of shame left, kindly fuck off, Jay. I'm your teacher." You reasoned before continuing, "what even made you think I'll sleep with you, huh?"
He could see your nostrils flaring as you balled your fist in an attempt to control your rage. If anything, it riled up Jay. He yanked your wrist and pulled you closer and you lost it. You smacked his chest grabbing everyone's attention.
"I said stop!" Your eyebrows stitched in the middle of your forehead while the veins on your neck were prominent. You swiftly turned on your heels and stomped towards the exit door unbeknownst to the figure following you.
You carefully sat on the concrete bench in the campus park. Very upset from the recent incident, you wanted some time alone for yourself. 'Did I lead on him by any chance?' You thought to yourself. You weren't disgusted by yourself. It was natural. You were young, barely 26. You maintained yourself well and stayed up to the mark. It was not unusual for a guy to ask you out. But Jay, he should have shown some respect and some shame, which you wondered if he had any left.
Taehyung observed you, observed all your minute details. Kneeling on the ground, behind the bushes was a very pleasant idea but he'd do anything for you. Watching you upset saddened him. A pout formed on his face as he pulled out a handkerchief from his coat pocket and stood up. He could feel the blood rushing down to his feet, and let out a painful groan.
You stirred from the 'thoughty train' when you heard the noise. Suddenly aware of the unknown presence, you stood up, alert and firm. Taehyung appeared out of the bushes, his pants soiled while a pout adorned his face. You noticed the cloth in his hand and your features softened.
"Hey champ, you waved at him."
A mere sight of you had his heart racing. The red evening gown that hugged your figure perfectly was making the blood rush to his nether region. He tugged his coat awkwardly before stepping in front of you. You giggled a bit when he staggered like a fawn learning to walk. Then when he was close to you, he cleared his throat.
"May I?" He asked pointing towards your palm that had crescent marks and blood trickling out of it.
Your eyes widened when you saw the wounds. Your breathing got heavier remembering just how you had to control your temper. "Th-this, I- I'm sorry," your voice was wavering.
Taehyung shook his head. You could see him frowning. "No ma'am, it's okay. It's not your fault," he bit his lip out of nervousness.
You gulped before hanging your head low and feeling bad for disturbing your own regime.
His big hands cupped your warm ones. The coldness of his palms almost made you flinch but he was quick to tie the cloth around your right hand.
"Thank you, Taehyung," you patted his shoulder.
"Uh, wait. The left hand?" He asked timidly.
You smiled at him, "it's okay Tae, I'll take care of it." You began walking before he called again.
"Please," he asked politely, "let me help. The medical room is not very far."
"It's okay Taehyung, you should probably go inside and enjoy the prom. I'm already feeling guilty for worrying you and occupying your time." By the time you were done speaking, he was already walking toward you and dragging you to the medical room.
Entering the room, the smell of medicine and spirit kissed your nose. You inhaled that smell greedily and felt dizzy. Instantly, he pulled the first aid kit from the top shelf and dipped the cotton in medicinal alcohol before gently pressing it over your wounds. You groaned a bit but he smoothly applied a band-aid over the wound before blowing air on it like a small kid.
You smiled, your heart warmed at his innocence and gentleness. "Taehyung, this was very kind of you. I'm sure your mother would be one lucky woman if you treat her the same," you smiled.
His face was gloomy again, eyes blinking fast to, prevent the tears from falling.
Running your hand from his shoulder to his arm, your warmth engulfed him. "What's wrong Taehyung?"
"I don't have mom," you could sense the sorrow in his voice as it trembled while speaking.
"Hey, hey-" you cupped his cheeks before brushing his hair back with your fingers, "it's okay. I'm here for you, okay? I'll help you just like you helped me. Feel free to come and talk to me anytime, alright?"
He was sure you could see the cherry red blush on the apple of his cheeks. He was trying hard to not pop a boner in the middle of having a conversation but all in vain. The way your warm hands slid down his arms made shivers run down his spine. He could see your cleavage from being so close to you.
"I- Uh, I should leave," he jerked away making you flinch.
"Taehyu—" you tried to reach out for him but he was already striding away at lightnings speed.
"I'll see you later, Y/n," he disappeared soon.
But who would you lie to? This boy had made his way into your heart. You gulped getting a grip of your emotion. "Y/n behave yourself," you half scolded yourself before getting back to the auditorium.
That night though, Taehyung had a hard time, forgetting your lingering touch the warmth of your skin, your feminine figure and your shapely hips that swayed to the sentimental slow music. Erasing the memories of that sexy red dress and your cleavage was as difficult as Olympic sport. The perkiness of your breasts got his pants tight.
Slowly his hand travelled the expanse of his abdomen, flinching when his nimble fingers made contact with his nipples. After a few seconds of panicky deliberation, he slid his hand in his shorts only to be met with his rock-hard member.
He pulled his shorts down and cupped his clothed member. Slowly stroking himself to complete hardness he hissed at the pain of being restrained. His pointer finger rubbed his slit, feeling the pre-cum stain his boxers.
"Aah— Y/n," he visualized your hand doing those dirty things to him. Boy was a masochist, loved edging himself, loved the pain he felt.
Would you indulge in these filthy play with him, he imagined. Lewd images of your round breast flooded the back of his mind as he grabbed his pillow and placed it between his thighs.
Imaging his dick between your boobs wasn't hard after he had clearly seen your cleavage today. He wondered, would it be as warm as your hands. The thoughts made him gyrate his hips, causing friction between his clothed dick and the pillow. He pulled his coat from the night table sniffing at its shoulder to get a whiff of your scent. His hips never slowed down.
"Aah– mommy," he whined as he felt more precum oozing out of the slit. He wanted to be cooped up in your arms, feel your heat, and fondle your soft boobs. All these thoughts made him thrust roughly into his pillow, his rhythm faltering.
"You would let me come on your boobies, right, Y/n?" He was a mess, his brain foggy with obscene pictures of your tits out on display while he spurts his cum on it and sees it slide down your nipples. He wanted to suck your boobs rub your cunt, and make you leak like a faucet.
"Mommy!" He screamed before giving a final thrust and cumming in his boxer. The sticky sensation made him feel filthy. The post-orgasmic guilt crawled through his skin, scraping at his insides and tugging at his chest.
"Sorry, Miss Y/n," he sniffled burying his face in his coat as tiredness knocked him out within a few minutes.
That was just the beginning...
Tumblr media
"Are you okay, Tae?" You asked him as he swatted his pants to get rid of any dust.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." He grinned at you like a fool.
"Do not skip the psychology lecture, okay?"
How could he? He'd never miss any opportunity to see you or be with you. You had been occupying every corner of his mind, his pretty Y/n.
He nodded at you before jogging towards the lecture hall.
