Sorry if it feels like I'm spam posting... ANYWAYS we have three more kwamis for the third and outer ring of the Miracle Box.

Fluff, Longg, and Sass are another three kwamis that belong to the outer/third ring of the Chinese Miracle Box. For more information on this ring, visit my other post here.

First is Fluff: Fluff is the kwami of time and presents female. She wears an outfit inspired by the Sui dynasty. She only grants one power to her wielder, which is the ability to open portals through time. This is the "burrow" which leads to a multitude of realities and times that only Fluff and the wielder of the rabbit miraculous can safely navigate. Fluff has these powers, and she considers herself omnipresent because of her abilities. Fluff is very chaotic in the show so I really enhanced that for her. She's a spaz, constantly all over the place and speaks so fast that often it is hard to understand her. She's constantly talking, either to herself, or blabbing herr mouth off to anyone in earshot. She also has a bad habit of talking over people/not letting people speak. She's very superstitious, so topics like that are her favorite to talk about, even when they're ridiculous. She has... very big eyes so she always appears to be surprised or in awe with everything around her.

Fun fact: When she picks a wielder, they're always from any timeline but the present.

Next we have Longg: Longg is the kwami of perfection and presents androgynously. (They use he/she/they pronouns). His attire comes from the Qing dynasty, and yes, it's a feminine outfit. However, her voice is very masculine. They only grant one power to their wielder, which technically sounds like three when described. The wielder can turn into three types of dragons, air, water, and lightning. The dragon varies from dragon designs across many eastern/asian cultures, but dominantly Chinese inspired. Longg has these powers himself, but much more powerfully and can even switch to dragons of other elements such as fire or ice. Longg kinda has a noble dude vibe in the show and I completely obliterated that. Though she does have a very high esteem of her culture, particularly more ancient practices, she's much less noble and more of a trouble maker. Yes, despite being the kwami of perfection, they're often mischievous or punky. Like Tikki, Longg has very strict rules for picking the wielder of the dragon miraculous, though he tends to be biased about it and would rather pick a trans person over a cisgender person, for no other reason than he just wants someone with the same vibe as him. (She's not cisphobic... if that's a thing).

Fun fact: Longg can switch their body type ever so slightly to range from a more masc appearance to a more fem look whenever they please.

Lastly, my beautiful boy Sass: Sass is the kwami of intuition and presents as male. He wears a hanfu from the Tang dynasty. He only grants one power to his wielder, Second Chance, which is the ability to go back to a "check point" in time within certain limits. This is good for fixing errors that may have occurred during a fight, but also may trap the wielder of the snake miraculous in a time loop if they keep having to use it. Sass has this ability of course, though he rarely ever uses it. I kept his personality similar to what's canon in the show. He's very leaderly and big on maintaining order. He likes to have control over things, and he despises chaos. He has a resting bitch face, which makes him look incredibly irritable all the time. Though he's basically the leader of all the other kwamis, he doesn't speak that much and chooses his words carefully when he does.

Fun fact: He loves music and can play a wide variety of instruments.

dunmeshi was a rly fun read but i feel like it got really dumbed down in the last quarter after everything got revealed, which is sad, bc i really enjoyed the characters and the themes, but it felt like such a slog to get thru until the end bc it felt like it was just one dramatic speech (usually from laios) to the next, with the characters frequently repeating long established info like the reader is too dumb to connect the dots themselves. which is kinda annoying in a manga geared towards adults.

gf!abby loves to watch movies with you. she un-ironically does that stupid cliche thing where she pretends to yawn so she has an excuse to wrap her arm around your shoulders to pull you closer to her.

gf!abby loves watching as you count the freckles on her face. she'll sit patiently for hours, watching the way your concentrated eyes would dart around her pretty cheeks, her beautiful nose - she doesn't even realise the dumb smile that's been creeping onto her lips in the meanwhile.

it's as if you put the stars into her eyes. gf!abby adores you, and she's always thinking of you; she's been around you long enough to have every little habit of yours memorised perfectly. she inwardly likes to predict every possible response of yours, and if you're not there with her, she likes to imagine what you would say or do if you were.

(un)fortunately, gf!abby is a freeaaak about your health. if she weren't your girlfriend, she'd be like an additional maternal figure - just constant questions about, "have you eaten?", "have you exercised today?", "what about your vitamins?", "are you cold?". - it just keeps coming. sweet, but never-ending.

speaking of health, gf!abby loves when you watch her exercise. she might not say it, but it's kinda obvious - she loves to show off for you. "hey, y/n! - i bench pressed xyz-lbs today. impressive, right?" — she'll play it off like a joke, but she loves when you praise her. to her, your validation is so important.

you changed her for the better. before you and gf!abby got together, she was never at all about being romantic, and she had never felt the need to even picture herself in a relationship. albeit, you mean everything to her. with each breath, you make her the happiest girl in the world, and she wouldn't dare picture her life without you in it.

The new trailer was interesting. It did the thing I didn't really want it to do by spoiling story related stuff and not reveal the actual new Pokémon we're missing, but for what it's worth it seems like the story will be pretty content heavy. Let's look at some screens I took and speculate on some stuff: and a friendly reminder that nothing I say here has any bearing on leaks that are possibly out there, so if I guess anything in the future, it was just a guess:

This crystal tree is pretty suspicious. Like first of all, this appears even DEEPER into Area Zero than we've been before, assuming. Did something or someone plant it here? Is it the remains of an underground world? Could it possibly be related to a legendary? Not to mention the FULL crystallization of the tree, vs the partial crystallization of the trees up top. It's definitely not safe to be here for long.

Next, Z move pose! BBA is off the coast of Unova, but there's a lot of Alola rep here. I wonder if they're doing this because Bank will shut down soon and this will be where they want us to get Alola forms for the next 5 ish years before they discontinue Switch online services?

Next, this is Crispin and what appears to be proof the BBE4 won't be restricted to singular types. My friend pointed out that this could possibly be a sun team with Exeggcutor there. Wonder why they opted for Kanto when Alolan is there? (I mean besides Kanto being why).

Next, the reveal of, WHOA WHODA THUNK, Champion? Corrupted Kieran anyway. I made a post a few months back when they showed off this guy from the neck down and made the prediction he'd be champion- that's not entirely confirmed just yet, but it does seem to be pointing in that direction. It's not really that much of a W because GF can be very predictable with their writing.

Anyway he looks heavily corrupted- YEAH LETS GO VILLAIN ARC!!!! His hair is fully purple now- honestly I'd have preferred it with black like before, but it's probably symbolic of his corruption. My friend even pointed out his hair kinda looks like the Toxic Chains the Loyal Three have- theory time, whatever gave them the chain is also corrupting Kieran because look at him. No light left in those eyes. Just rage. Fun :D

Next we have this- I assume it's Penny or Mela tbh, because I saw from a ways back where it seems like Team Star's Giacomo has reintegrated into Naranja/Uva Academy. Maybe Penny has stopped dying her hair and grew it out or Mela is being super proper now or something. Could also be a completely unrelated character.

Lastly for major story stuff, this is cool poster material. Kieran's rage or possibly fear of Terapagos, Carmine's worry for her brother, Briar... I mean come on, she's a villain in waiting, look at her face. Idk if I'm too quick to claim Terapagos is evil though, because the anime has firmly planted him in Just A Little Guy territory and I don't think they'd want to ruin that image considering they've been in charge of hyping him up since Horizons first started.

But yeah, the culmination of everything we've been through in one image. Kinda exciting.

It's odd that they paired these trios together to me. Pokémon loves sprinkling breadcrumbs to tease at future projects, and these could pass for potential Legends starter trios.

But not for Unova.

Tepig and Snivy are the odd ones out here because it'd be kinda dumb to re use Unova starters for a Legends Unova game- now for Johto? Squirtle, Treeko, and Tepig COULD work, but Squirtle is also pretty close to home.

If I'm being real, this is probably nothing and just meant to highlight the starters across different generations coming home, with Tepig and Snivy being stand outs because this will be their first time being available on the Switch. Ever.

Other notable things I didn't screenshot:

BQs: basically side quests.

Synchronization? I guess? We can actually control a Pokémon. Conspiracy brain wants to say this is alluding to something, but I'm unsure. It's at least kind of neat because this has been a topic of various NPCs in the series for years. Those were probably just alluding to Mystery Dungeon games, but when Game Freak does something like this in DLC, it could hint at a future mechanic or possibly a feature in a future game.

Legendaries returning: I'm gonna be real, I'm not really all that excited by the prospect of yet another Legendary Bargain Sale that they've been doing since ORAS at this point. ORAS, USUM, Crown Tundra, and now Indigo Disk. At this point the legendaries are more common and accessible than some common pokemon like Furfrou or the elemental monkeys.

What's interesting to note are a couple of things:

1. DLC pokemon from SwSh are here too, including Kubfu. That's interesting, I wonder how it will evolve considering we needed the two towers in IoA last time? An NPC from the dojo?

2. Boi if you thought I wasn't gonna talk about the Unovan dragons- they didn't HAVE to single them out like that! They didn't have to. They did, though. I'm pretty sure we all know their next projects.

You may be saying "but it's too fast!" And I agree. They need to stop rushing things and take their time, but we all know they won't. All we can do is hope they actually try this time.

Anyways that was the last trailer for Indigo Disk. Maybe it's my severe depression talking, but I'm actually excited for Indigo Disk. It looks very content heavy and a bit prettier to look at than before. I hope it runs okay- I mean it won't, but I still hope it. I also hope this isn't as quick as Teal Mask was.

I kind of always liked Trepan & Pharma as unexpected friends during the New Institute days. Trepan come across as much older given his frame similarities to Rung and Pharma I always headcanoned as somewhat socially awkward out of a medical context (he is not a master manipulator) or places he is confident and aituations he has scripts and a mask ready for. He's absolutely genuine medical fascination with mnemosurgery, bright-eyed ingenue attitude, and habit of doscussing incredibly explicit and complicated pai ful medical issues and surgeries without genuine glee that lacked Sadism came off as off putting to most. But Trepan respects genuis and enjoyed Pharma's genuine interest and because he was "exception that proved the system" treated him with more respect and friendliness than most of their coworkers. Trepan thought Pharma was "charming" in the way a child or cat is at first and grew to like him.

Trepan was also very cheerful genuinely, and his job, his passionate attitude, really made him off putting to some coworkers. Like everyone was aware, Trepan was a sadist except Pharma, who took his commentary to be more like Ratchet's and Pharma's interest in the theoretically fascinating ideas.

Their friendship boggled most people and Ratchet kept giving well meaning advice that just made Pharma more stubborn because Trepan was his Nicest coworker who invited him out to drinks, took him to interesting medical conferences, and ate lunch with him. He also always enjoyed music and art, which Pharma was fairly neutral towards but learned about to socialize.

When he meets Tarn though Pharma finally sees it because Tarn reminds him of him in ways he never thought and suddenly all those comments he was certain weren't literal were recontexualized.

Anyway, all this is to say, if it was Ratchet in the Trepan Unwilling Redemption and Trepan and he already had a fraught relationship and knew each other, it would add even more interesting context. Depending on if it was during Zeta's reign or Sentinel's.

You're right on Trepan coming off as rather older, which is interesting considering how I see the concept of functionism being a relatively "new" practice again and again

You're right on everyone but Pharma knowing something (so many things) is off with Trepan, and it's just so odd to see Pharma and Trepan warm up to each other when you consider nobody could've predicted what the future would hold for Pharma.

It's so fascinating because Trepan honestly has no sinister plans in store for Pharma here. At the most he's suggested Pharma go into mnemosurgery here and there. They're honestly getting along, and that's so unsettling. Yes. Yess.

yEP, Pharma meets Tarn (who tbh is actually trying to manipulate and intimidate him, but he's got that similar ~aura~ around him) and shit is clicking.

I’ve waited long enough to do one of these so here are my cast predictions now that the name dropped

Priya: A big sweetie but an early to mid boot, probably gets taken advantage of somehow, I don’t think she’s fully gonna snap but she probably does get to throw something at someone so good for her. Her design is a bit bland, I think she could maybe use a small detail like a hair clip/headband or something to make her stand out more, but it’s cute :0

Millie: Very responsible and kind, sort of “mom-like”, but learns she doesn’t have to be so nurturing to everyone/deal with the problems of others once Priya is voted out maybe? I think she at least gets past the merge. She has one of my favorite designs I love her everything

Ripper: A sarcastic little asshole but not to the point Noah was, he’s just like clever and witty but doesn’t really piss people off and he’s way more chill to try stuff. Idk how far he gets maybe an early boot maybe like middle post-merge. He’s a cute lil guy

Damien: Very easy-going, that’s really all I have to say about him. I think he’ll be kind of an early boot but he’s cool. Love his designs tho, the shades of blue and green w yellow accents. Yasss.

Axel: Very tough, very jaded, but also like a little unhinged as she deserves. Sort of like season one gwen if she got to be feral. Definitely going to go far (at least I hope pleaseeee go past the merge Axel ily). She’s so cool easily one of my favorite designs, very fresh and grunge

Chase: Already like him. He seems very milquetoast and just like your classic supportive friend but I like that and hope he gets around the merge. His design has just enough spice, I love his hair and head shape. He does dress like Cameron tho which, sorry cameron, is not a compliment

Zee: Funky, very funky, seems very chill and happy. I think they have a silly voice. They probably get voted out early but they have a good time. Everyone shits on them for their weird shapes but I love them. Very weird /pos

Scary Girl: Probably gonna be another top 3 antagonist with some mysterious sympathetic past. Goblin-esque but more in like an eerie way than a manic way. Obviously I love a good goth, the dark Lolita dress is very like rare in the td style and I love it actually

Caleb: Early boot, a bit dumb, idk that’s most of what I have to say. He’s chill, pretty normal. His design is cool tho I love the pastels on the clothes mixed with the sort of ruddy/cool skin and hair tones

Nichelle: Hot take I think she’s gonna be an early boot. She’s a blogger maybe? Or an influencer? Idk. She’s pretty chill though, I think she and Julia are either good buds or natural enemies. Her hair is so cute tho and her color scheme

Julia: I know people think she’s a villain but I think she’s gonna be more of a chill Bridgette type who’s just trying to get through. Definitely post-merge. Smokes weed. Her design is very basic but it’s alright, it’s recognizable, I like the more muted colors as opposed to the old td bright yellow blondes with neon clothes. She does feel like a shitty modern disney edit by a tik toker as a person tho

Bowie:…Definitely gonna be a stereotypical gay character. I mean. Come on. But whether they do it in a fun way or a shitty way is yet to be revealed. Maybe mid season? Also is an antagonist at some point. He’s okay, punchable face and ugly green pants but his color scheme and jewelry are nice

Wayne: The more outspoken one of the pair. He and Riu are like Katie and Sadie but more chill idk. Kinda just a guy

Riu: Takes the backseat to Wayne but still a nice guy, just shyer. I feel like Wayne gets voted out and Riu has to adjust without him like how Sadie would’ve in season one if the writers weren’t cowards. Also just a guy tbh their designs are okay but like forgettable

Emma: Sweet pushover horse girl. She and Priya are also friends but Emma’s more observant idk when she gets booted but I hope she stays for a bit I like her. Her design is sooo cute tho she’s very warm and friend shaped and has just enough detail

MK: A little judgmental and a bit gremlin-y but overall chill. I know they’re gonna get the early boot due to a misunderstanding or rumor. Very nice colors I love the warm cools and cool warms (this is minus the weird bright yellow skin which…mmmmm yuck), love their layers, why are they so smalllll

- the very beginning for a second was giving me ascension of the cybermen vibes, like bright, green, really calm idk

- fake donna and fake 14 were so creepy like I stg right as fake 14 showed up to the way it was shot made me feel weird bc it just wasn't showing him and I was like well show him then and then it did and I was like oh he's normal okay but then it went down hill fr dt was v creepy

- flux and timeless child mention ahhhhh I kinda am obsessed with it and I really hope it's a sign that rtd is gonna explore it a bit more (which based on xmas special info he seemingly is). - donna saying the doctor timed getting back to avoid the awkward convo makes me think of all the times chib had shit happen to avoid having the doctor and (usually) yaz complete a convo, it used to drive me crazy it was so annoying

tng update time!! its been so long. sunday we did "reunion" and last night we did "future imperfect" and "final mission."

ok. tbh. this episode was wack. i guess i just don't get the point of k'ehleyr...she hates klingons. so she's like, "my son, who is 3/4 klingons, will not be raised with any of the klingon ways! fuck klingons! i hate them! however i do want worf who LOVES the klingon ways to claim him, and then also raise him after i have died. and i'm gonna get really mad at him and call him a dumb klingon if he doesn't do it"

like? is this not the worst of both worlds? if worf is gonna claim him (which he kinda does by sending him to live with his grandparents) and he can't live among klingons the least worf could do is raise him on the starship with himself, a klingon, and the other kids. who admittedly should not be on the starship bc no child should be on a starship. but like how many klingons are there on ma and pa kent's farm. zero. how many are there on the enterprise. one. could be two but ???

the a plot of this was only a little less stupid, to be fair. mr grumpy miner made such a big deal about that alcohol and then he never got the DTs. picard told wesley to stand up to him and then wesley never got to do it. also, wesley's last episode should have had him have more time with his MOM? cmon

my favorite bit was when picard laid down the arrow to warn the search party of the direction they were going and then they all walked in a completely different direction. and at the end beverly is like we found your arrow! girl. come on now

What was that. Like 6 ep of literal greatness to then have complete flops. Why did they make it so El basically revived Max. SHE WAS DEAD, KEEP HER DEAD. Now whenever a character dies ppl are gonna be like “nah it’s fine they’ll just come back to life.” Nah bro that’s such a terrible writing mistake. Russia got way too much screen time AGAIN. And Will, oh Will baby. He’s confirmed as gay but not in the way Robin was so he’s still like ‘in the closet’ EVEN THO HE SHOULDNT, can the duffers just like hurry the fuck up omg girlies plzzzzz. Also the way Jason just kinda burned when the gates open lmao 💀💀💀 pretty silly. Eddie ofc died, it was way too predictable. They did Robin and Vickie so dirty too. Will is literally a milkvan shipper at this point it’s not even funny, like go off queen I guess. Argyle was way less entertaining this vol, he was just like high the whole time which was totally boring. Brenner IS SO FUCKING DEAD BUT LIKE WHY DID THEY TRY TO REDEEM HIM?! LET THAT BITCH DIE. NOBODY LIKES HIM FR LIKE WHAT?!?!? Will’s painting was kinda dumb, why was it a commission? It didn’t really further Byler at all either which is so confusing bc it was built up that way? Oooo I read your hcs on Jeremy and Waylon dynamic and a bit of an idea sorta came up, it’s a little unrelated but… Do you think Jer would see Miles as some sort of replacement for Waylon and try to go after him? That could happen if we're taking the desperate route hahaha though I feel like Miles can replace Rick rather than Waylon, since they're both kinda similar, in a way. So basically RickJer is the rich and spoiled version of camerashipping.

So, if the thing with Miles really happens, I think he'd just give everything up and put up a thick wall and just do something by himself. I think a lot about Jer and it's really embarrassing......

My take on him is pretty boring and weird, I guess? Jeremy never actually... Feel the need to befriend/love someone, he didn't expect to have one so soon - it was just that Rick and Waylon happened to be people who were close to him, so he made some efforts into their relationship, expected something more from them in return, since he trusted them. Rather than mourning over people who betrayed him, he's frustrated over the things he had sacrificed in exchange for their companionship; All the money, all the covering efforts, all the emotions, the sentiments, etc, etc, are all wasted on people like them. It's not like he's close close with them either, they're pretty much just friends with benefits to putting it in summary lol

One of my friends described it so much better but unfortunately I don't remember how he worded it so bear with me anon I'm sorry, When Jeremy watches as Rick was sent to the engine, he doesn't feel sad. Rick wasn't his friend, but he feels like something is missing - something about it made him feel betrayed - probably betrayed by himself... Even the feeling itself disturbs him because even he couldn't pinpoint what was causing it. It's between "I'm completely fine even if you die" and "I wish you were here" to put it simply. I know I'm sorry if your brain exploded there,,, emotions are complicated tbh

So... it's not really like Jer isn't capable of human emotions, but rather, it's more complicated because he views emotions as something to be suppressed because they can weaken you. Showing emotions makes him vulnerable, thus making him pile up emotions and complicates stuff because he doesn't even understand himself.

(on a serious note, idk why this phase is just off putting to me. i know im overthinking it, but murdoc really just seems out of his mind this phase. and it makes me uncomfortable that there's never been a band member to even SLIGHTLY care about that. or call it out in a way that doesn't make them seem "annoyed" about it. seeing this character go through so many breakdowns that are supposed to be "funny" is just unenjoyable, plain and simple. maybe it's my inability to forget about past phases, but if you add it all up, it really seems like murdoc finally snapped.)

Jk, but also not since Murdoc haters/non-fans will never go away. I like that you brought this up, and I think you make a lot of good and valid points. It would be such a plot twist if they went there, but they would never take that much of a risk. The band would never be legally reprimanded since Murdoc is an adult and has the right to self-determination, but it is kinda dumb of them to just play along with his delusions. Like, I’ll just say it - the entire storyline this album makes them look really, really, idiotic. It's not something I would do, personally.

I lol'd at "take them to a home." But yeah, if we were going to play this out realistically, assuming Murdoc is in treatment, the first step would be a medication adjustment since he seems to be becoming more symptomatic. If that doesn't work, he might try and intensive outpatient type of treatment. If it gets to a point where he appears to be a risk to himself or others, then he may need to be hospitalized until he can get stable on medication again. If he's really deteriorated, then he may need a long-term hospitalization, but Gorillaz will never get this serious.

Tbh, I've almost gotten to a point where I'll think about potential story directions, but only for my own ideas, never to seriously try to ~predict canon plot points because Gorillaz, as it exists now, is not about story anymore. Your third paragraph reminds why I sometimes wish it was, even if it would be executed poorly. They're going for silly and fun, but if you think about it for more than two seconds, it's not really that funny at all, and the humor isn’t smart or satirical. I've complained about Murdoc "winning" all the time, and I still think that's an issue, but you're absolutely right about how they regularly skim over, minimize or make fun of what he goes through. Yes, you can say “he’s just a cartoon character,” but I personally, can’t accept that when I know there are a lot of people out there who have struggled the same way he has, and relate to him. And there is, afaik, no greater social commentary or lesson that comes from this. The point is just to make fun of Murdoc because he sucks. He does suck, but if you want to address his suckiness, address it directly, don't get to a point where the message is "he's done these bad things wrong, therefore he deserves all these other unrelated bad things." If Gorillaz placed more value on story and character arcs, this might be addressed, but alas...it's unlikely at this point.

Fave thing: imma be honest, his design dope as hell.

Least fave: his voice seems a lil too high pitched to me. Nothing against the VA, but I think a deeper voice would be more appropriate.

Fave line: ok, there's two good ones and both come from his QuetzalKukulkan skin. There's one that's like "The wings of freedom do not lose a single feather!" Which is dope as hell. He also has another like to Xbalanque referencing Tezcatlipoca that I enjoy.

I'm only doing the OTP one cause I just thought of a Crack ship with Aprhodite for fun.

Tonight has proven to have many many more developments than I expected cringey, awkward, Annoying Noah is apparently admired by many more than just me.
