Wei Wuxian smiles genuinely, joyfully. It’s not the same smile Lan Wangji fell in love with so many years ago, but he does not expect it to be. Wei Wuxian is older now with experiences that cannot be forgotten. He still wears dark shades with small bursts of his soul color’s red, though the base color of his robes is closer to an indigo now than the shadowy black from the Sunshot Campaign days.

And even with all the changes that life brings, he is Lan Wangji’s soulmate. He is alive and breathing and beautiful and turns Lan Wangji’s world into a rainbow of colors. He is the other half of Lan Wangji’s soul and Lan Wangji never wishes to be parted from him ever again.

So Lan Wangji says, without thinking and full of yearning, “Marry me, Wei Ying.”

[Monster High] so since pink lagoona is a hot topic in the fandom, i though it'd be a fun challenge to try and make some pink lagoonas myself. there's actually a lot of material to work with imo!

these are all essentially looks for a recolored g1 lagoona, only the last one being intended for her g3 personality. i wanted to make more for g3, but didn't quite like them in execution, so maybe another time..

tropical treasure: beautiful, glamorous, colorful, but a bit more of an aquarium decoration than a strange beast. loosely inspired by bettas

ghost ship cruise: etherial haunty lagoona, inspired by jellyfish. light, translucent and probably cold to the touch

coy classic: elegant mermaid pond lagoona, inspired by koi fish. this one is kind of an amalgamation of her g1 dolls that exists in my head tbh

little axolotl: cute and quirky, like the new lagoona. inspired by axolotls and sea slugs :)

Lan Wangji shakes his head. He has not heard back from Wei Wuxian since his last letter detailing what Meng Yao had told him about the Jins. He suspects his soulmate might have done something—he would not take so long to respond to Lan Wangji otherwise—but what that something might be, he has no hope of guessing. 

Even worse, the faint colors of gold and yellow and white scattered around the banquet are just a whisper of what they should be. If Wei Wuxian were here everything would be different. The world would be different, Lan Wangji himself included, just because Wei Wuxian existed. 

And just like that, as if his very thoughts sent out a signal unbeknownst to him, his surroundings burst into a rainbow of vibrancy. 

Lan Wangji stands. His heart is suddenly pounding. 

Lan Xichen looks up at him, blinking. “Wangji? What is it?”

“Wei Ying is here.”
