When I first watched the princess bride as a kid I was so certain that when Buttercup grabbed the dagger she was going to use it to fight. My little gremlin girl brain was like 'og yeas she's gonna kill someone too!' and I was sure of it to the point of shouting "go princess!". but then of course she turned the dagger on herself at that exact moment, so my dad was like "??
