Do you like Jaune Arc
The short answer is "Not really, no".
The long answer is that I'm not fundamentally against his character concept (even if the "guy who needs basic worldbuilding things explained to him so they can also be explained to the audience" aspect is somewhat redundant when they have a school environment right there that they don't actually use for much of anything), but the way he was actually used within the show frustrates me because he frequently drained focus away from other characters, particularly the four ostensible mains. Jaune worked well as a supporting character, as demonstrated in Volumes 7 and 8, but he generally wasn't used that way. At least half the Volumes give him at least one storyline that revolves around him or make him an integral part of a plotline (Jaunedice in V1, the dance stuff in V2, Pyrrha's storyline in V3, him being the main person confronting Cinder in V5 and Weiss getting impaled for his manpain, being the only one ever allowed to fucking grieve Pyrrha and the statue stuff in Volume 6, killing Penny in Volume 8, and the Rusted Knight garbage in Volume 9), usually to the detriment of other characters.
Whenever Jaune started taking a prominent role, the show rapidly shiftedto be all about Jaune. He became a narrative black hole, voraciously consuming all around him, including and especially my patience. When I was still watching this show, I was not doing it for Miles Luna's Specialest Boy. I was doing it for the characters whose names were in the title and for the side characters like Qrow and Winter and Ironwood who actually managed to be both interesting and get out of the fucking way of the characters the show was supposedly about.
Also, his fans are fucking weird.

Rotating Jarro in the Meat Marionette Au.
Like would he have his own meat marionette? I would think so, but that's making me rotate a civilian identity. Because he's a tiny starfish, meaning he'd definitely need some sort of disguise.
So what would he have for that? Do they make him a second meat puppet using what they know about the ones gifted by the Tunnels?? Do they make a wood/metal mech suit for him to use?
Like it's not like they go out often, at least as the Waynes, but there'd only be so many times they could mention their brother 'Jarrod' (mostly overheard) before people start asking questions. Not to mention Jarro wants to know about human things and go with his siblings to shop or visit the park.
Or would the Tunnels slowly change his body to be more humanoid over time? Some sort of effect from being connected to the caves and the batclan?
Au is a combo of mine and @phoenixcatch7 's Possessed Doll Au so check that out because a lot of the concept for this Au is from it

Tip for people writing posts about medical conditions: don’t exclusively refer to the condition by an acronym, especially for lesser known conditions which are usually referred to by the full version of the name.
If someone didn’t know about that condition prior to reading that post, they might be confused on what the post is referring to. Especially since some condition acronyms are shared with multiple things, Googling the acronym might shoe completely different things
I saw a post about borderline personality disorder which was referring to it as BPD throughout the whole post, and it wasn’t until I read the comments that I realized it was about borderline personality disorder. The whole time I thought they were talking about bipolar depression, which can also be abbreviated as BPD. (It was a good post, I was just confused on what they were referring to)
Instead of exclusively saying, let’s say, ASD, you should also say autism/autistic in a post, especially since more people use the term autism rather than the full name autism spectrum disorder/ASD.
There are some conditions which are usually referred to by acronyms, like ADHD and OCD, and you can very easily find information about the condition by looking up the acronym, it’s a bit different. But with lesser known conditions like borderline personality disorder which also share acronyms with other things, it’s good to say the whole thing at least *once* in a post so people better know what you’re referring to. Preferably near the beginning of the post so they know what it means sooner.
Some people struggle with remembering acronyms, so saying the full name will definitely help people better understand things.
There also are some conditions, such as DID, which are also normal words. Googling the acronym could show results related to the word rather than the condition.
