ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴍᴇ ɪɴ ᴛʜɪꜱ ᴅʀ: my name is tara smith, but i'm known as 'azrael'. in 2016 with my friends, kitty and jj formed a band we called 'utopia' and we started on youtube and soundcloud by doing covers, and when we got more popular, we made our first original song. it was called "SOS" (yup it's this one from ABBA but let's pretend yk) and it went viral on soundcloud and very popular on youtube. we got recognision, and it opened the door to music industry.

ᴍʏ ꜰʀɪᴇɴᴅꜱ ɪɴ ᴛʜɪꜱ ᴅʀ: kitty (lily buckley), jj (jack hart), billie eilish, willow smith, conan grey, harry styles and a lot of more!

ꜱ/ᴏ: billie eilish

ᴅɪꜱᴄᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ: we debuted with an ep called "CANNIBAL" as we watched "the show"Hannibal" while writing and it was a huge inspo for this ep. it was also a success, we went on small tour in venues. first in america, then in europe.

⍣ ೋ we went super popular after we released our first single from our first album called "LOST IN OUR PAST" (2019). it was a huge success. album was full of 70s beats, vocals, etc. we were nominated for multiple awards and won all of them. we became one of the most successful artist of the year, and later even in decade. Our tour sold out in few minutes, and so that's how we did our first world tour. we performed at grammys, the biggest festivals like coachella etc. we won grammys for best album, best group, best group performance, best single & song of the year. we weren't ready for this kind of success, critics after all called this album a "renaissance of 70s music" we became pioneers of group music then, we mixed modern pop, 70s & 80s. we did covers of old songs, and on our tour performed with multiple artists, like tears for fears, fleetwood mac (which was crazy!!!!). at the time me and kitty got together.

⍣ ೋ after the success, we had multiple fights in the band, but we were still making music together. I started to make solo music, but only for fun. we got to work with conan grey, and we made a song "killing me" (yupp also this one but let's pretend!!!) in 2021 our bands needed to split up, as jj decided to left.

⍣ ೋ it was a huge case, fans protested, wanted to know what happened, but we decided to stay quiet. everything was clear, jj wanted something else from life. he started to work as a "ghost writer"

⍣ ೋ after band has split up, i called my managment that i want to release solo music. i didn't want to give up on music because of this situation. week after official announcement from band, i posted info about my first single of my solo album "GLOBAL DRUGS"

it was a huge success, i didn't think that i would go on world tour and sing in stadiums again. i brought kitty with me.

⍣ ೋ in december 2022 after i finished tour and came back to u.s., my agent called me that he wants to meet me and kitty. we met 2 days later in new york, in a studio we recorded first ep as "utopia". when we came in, first thing we saw was jj talking to some people in the studio. well, we were so back.

⍣ ೋ in march 2023 out of nowhere we dropped our second album called "WE ARE STILL HERE" and people went CRAZYYY. we had no idea how this album is gonna shake the whole internet and critics. it was completely new - it was jazz, 70s, soul, r&b. something that people claimed we didn't fit. but here we are :)))

⍣ ೋ in may 2023 i attended my first ever met gala, and there, in an interview i confirmed that this was the last project of ‘utopia’ for now. i said “we disappeared out of nowhere and left you all without any information. this is something like a goodbye, but we do not confirm that it will last forever. it depends on our feelings.” i also confirmed that i will release music as solo artist and that kitty will join me as a drummer

⍣ ೋ in may 2023 a week after met gala, i showed the world my summer tour, and except the festivals of course, there were 4 stadium concerts, “bonus” ones, only in europe. Paris, Barcelona, Berlin and final one in London. that’s the time when me and kitty broke up, after, as media called it “London accident”. (there will be another post about it, but basically kitty got herself into alcohol and drugs, and during the London show for almost 2 hours we couldn’t find her, and when my team finally found her, she was completely not contacting with the world around her, and it was not the first time.she couldn’t perform and i didn’t want to cancel the show)

⍣ ೋ in september 2023 i started dating harry styles, but only to january 2024 - we realised that we would love be each other besties than lovers 🤭 (bc in this dr he is a little younger and one direction split up later than in cr, his album “Fine Line” was released in 2024, and “Harry’s House” in late 2025)

⍣ ೋ in january 2024 i confirmed my second solo album, that will release 15/03 🫶

⍣ ೋ after release of this album, me and billie were spotted in public, spreading dating rumours, which we confirmed some months later

Hi music anon again 🤗

I know what you mean about never knowing what music Snape listens to. It's sort of tough, isn't it?

I feel like the instinct is for classical and I don't doubt that he enjoys classical music, but I also think his Muggle upbringing would surely play a role in his music taste no matter how much he rightfully despised his father and his crappy childhood in general.

Now this may way be controversial, but I sort of headcanon teenage Snape secretly listening to Fleetwood Mac or T-rex or The Stones with black painted finger nails and cigarette in hand and sort of think he probably never stopped? I mean the painted nails probably didn't hang around after he started teaching (or maybe he did and he just used a glamour though that might interfere with his potions lol) but I could still easily see Harriet's Snape listening to You can go your own way or Paint it black in his chambers when he thinks hes mostly certain he has a few private minutes to himself...of course, I now I have the image of Snape listening to angry girl indie music in my head i dont think that's leaving any time soon 😄

it certainly is rough! also it's very hard not to give him our own music taste in some way (that is, the taste of the person headcanoning about it), which is only natural, both because we like our own taste and because we interpret our blorbos through some prism of self.

also music, more than probably any other art form, seems to get tied up with this performance evaluation of our personal coolness. there can be a lot of "i don't listen to that" about music, and everyone shows off their spotify wrapped at the end of the year (some people apparently... put cooler songs on mute and play them to jazz up their list?? is that real????) so, going off what you said about his Muggle upbringing, and music as a form of teenage rebellion, this complicates the Snape Playlist because one would imagine him hearing Muggle music at home and, whether he liked it or not, rejecting it because it's Muggle. or maybe embracing it, at least on holiday, because his dad hates it and he hates his dad. or! maybe some of it reminds him of lily, so it likes it for that reason, at least for a while. (secret fourth option: i’m way overthinking it!)

the another complication is that we don't know what the heck kind of music wizards listen to. we only know the Weird Sisters, which is rock. are they the wizard Iron Maiden or Nirvana? or maybe Vivaldi was a wizard or something. then young, desperately-trying-to-not-be-too-Muggle Snape could listen to these safely.

but in the end, i just wonder if... snape wouldn't listen to anything? i wonder if the reason it's so hard to nail down something for him to listen to is because i can't imagine him actually... doing something for simple enjoyment? he's so uptight in this way and self hating in that way... the result of asking myself "what would snape enjoy" is really the answer "nothing!" he won't let himself. he can read depressing books and dry potions journals but for music you just have to relax and enjoy the noises and i just... have a hard time picturing him doing it. he can't relax. he can't enjoy himself. he can't appreciate a nice tune. not yet.

this tangled web of questions is the answer i've come up with for myself, so far :)

- pandora loves jazmin bean (her favorite song is super slaughter), melanie martinez (her favorite song is detention), and a lot of alt pop but also loves rock and ethereal wave music

- marlene loves riot grrrl and femme punk music (she likes the movement too but not as much bc it wasn’t very intersectional) and got dorcas really into it when they first started dating

- dorcas thinks that the guys from pure hell (idk their names) are really gender envy

- emmeline loves mommy long legs (they’re a band) and destroy boys

- james loves fleetwood mac and jaco pastorious

- emma loves lana del rey and taylor swift she’s one of the only people who loves pop music but she also likes other stuff

- lily loves indie/indie rock like radiohead, neutral milk hotel, arctic monkeys, the strokes, and phoebe bridgers

- peter’s favorite genres are grunge and rock and he loves nirvana and soundgarden

- james and lily also know how to play drums but they suck bc they taught themselves on Fleamont’s old set

- Remus loves The doors and David Bowie (obviously)

- pandora has trouble reading guitar charts so reg prints out the basslines of songs for her

- lily collects guitar picks

- marlene loves the runaways

- barty taught himself how to play drums

- evan learned keyboard/piano because his strict ass parents made him learn an instrument

- pandora played a standing/double bass before the electric bass

- pandora has her own artist profile on spotify where she posts songs she’s written they’re very ethereal and kind of gothic

- regulus learned guitar from sirius and they gave reggie their old crusty acoustic guitar to use

- james plays bass with a pick because he loves the sound

- sirius loves ayesha erotica and definitely went feral when he heard she was making a comeback

- regulus can’t stand recordings of his voice while singing he thinks it sounds really bad

Rags to Werewolves Challenge: Week One

I compromised on the 'zero skills' thing that I absolutely hate for Young Adults by giving Min Jun low-moderate skills in CHARISMA, COOKING, FITNESS and PARENTING - basically skills that won't help him make money (so no singing or instrumental skills) - and added some reward traits from the Parenthood pack. Only you can't add them to adults, even with cheats, so I made him a teenager for a hot minute then aged him up.

So what he started with was some leftover birthday cake, a guitar and a knitting basket (both of which he has zero skill in), a few camping supplies and Zero Simoleons in his pocket.

(For the curious, my headcanon for this Sim is that he comes from a moderately well-off family, had a happy homelife but with high expectations. So when he found himself pickpocketed on a globetrotting holiday, he knew that his parents would help him out but was too embarrassed/proud to clue them in about his Simoleon-challenged state. Plus life always seems to work out, right?)

Since he needs to become a werewolf eventually, he started Day Two by trying to befriend Kristopher. Which worked pretty well, thanks to Min Jun's POLITE INTRODUCTION interaction and general good nature.

Later he went fishing. Less successful.

The next day Kristopher was nowhere to be found (likely off making one of the Nooboos he always seems to end up with in my saves), so Min Jun bonded with Lily via stargazing.

Day Four and Min Jun had a high enough level of friendship to ask Lily for the CURSED BITE (not all Werewolves have this unlocked but she does). Which she did.

In spite of how it looks, we did ask for this xD Also I'm loving Kristopher's resigned face in the foreground at the thought of having to take yet another clueless pup beneath his foreleg.

(Bonus little moodlet that your Sim gets if they actually explicitly ask to be bitten, as opposed to 'Greg's Gift' which is vague.)

Since pre-transformation hunger is nothing to be sniffed at and Min Jun would need to constantly eat until it was time, he wisely stuck around the Collective Cabin. And the Mac 'n Cheese Lily had thoughtfully made. And the fridge with its unlimited supply of snacks.

You asked to be bitten, my guy, and now you're getting the TENSE moodlet? Because you're around werewolves who are kindly letting you stay in their house while you ride out your first transformation? Rudeness!

The morning of Day Five (and about 20,000 Mac 'n Cheese later), it happened.

Since I unlocked the SCAVENGER reward trait asap (spend that one point you get initially on it, I beg you), Min Jun was able to pass his furry times by digging up the ground behind the cabin, avoiding scaring any non werewolves - and thus being able to unlock the TRANSFORM AT WILL ability. This is an important skill to prioritise unlocking early on as you will need to demonstrate it in order to join either pack.

Day Six was the Full. By then Min Jun had levelled up to RUNT and had been able to unlock the WILL TO RESIST skill, which allows him the opportunity to snap out of any rampaging (it has a short cool down period, but is useful nonetheless).

Surprisingly it worked on the first try (the only factor I can think of that may have aided this is that Min Jun has the CHEERFUL trait, and his needs were all met beforehand) and so he spent the rest of the night working on his singing skills atop a mountain like some kind of Disney prince.

On Day Seven he moved to Willow Creek and actually had enough Simoleons (thanks to busking and selling the produce he had gathered) so not much eventful happened.

And this is where he stands on Day Eight, the Sunday after we commenced this challenge. A 5x3 room, smol tv (thanks Eco Living hidden items), a sink, a cooler for quick snacks, a sleeping bag, two vertical garden planters and three regular plants for the produce he'd accumulated.

In terms of the whole werewolf thing? Well it definitely helped, although I was very very fortunate that the only trait Min Jun has unlocked is the EASILY EXCITABLE one (which is only a factor now that he has a TV). Being a werewolf he is able to gather and sell the plants growing near the Collective HQ, even without being part of a pack. He can sell items that he finds while scavenging. And he used the hidden bunker facilities once or twice, but not as much as I had anticipated.

Most useful skills that he's unlocked are WOLF NAP (seems to regenerate full energy at least 2x faster as opposed to regular sleeping and can nap anywhere) and the ability to lick himself clean. Scavenging is also helpful but as the FREEGAN trait gives him better luck in dumpsters, he uses it more to keep himself away from non-werewolves during the Full.

He is now at the PRIME level of Werewolf, early stages.

(Edit: I forgot that he's also unlocked the PRIDEFUL trait. Which again is one of the easier traits to work with, especially since Min Jun seems to be universally liked xD)

seems really quiet and like a good boy because he's always got his nose buried in a book but he's actually the mastermind behind all pranks and he's pretty much an evil genius

gets along really well with his mam, they're pretty much besties and they tell each other everything

whenever someone asks him to pronounce the longest name of a place in wales (llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch) he just cusses at them and they think that's what he said. it's become an on-running joke between the welsh students to say the same thing to everyone non-welsh asking and they never knew that the name was not what they were saying

has sharper canines than most people and so he's insecure about his smile so the first time he laughed and they flashed out sirius may or may have not fallen in love (courtesy to scar for this genius hc)

autistic

prefers weed to actual cigarettes, it helps with his pain and it gets his mind off things

rubs his hands together when he's excited

has really bad handwriting. he's the kind of person that has such ugly handwriting that only he understands. he only tries making his handwriting neater on valentine's cards, letters to important people, and stuff he sends to his mum (and the invitations to james and lily's funeral)

knows how to play the ukulele and the guitar (he was taught by hope)

his favorite bands are simon & garfunkel, t.rex, and fleetwood mac

speaking of music, his favorite song from bowie is the prettiest star (i wonder why)

hates kids, especially babies, but is really good with them. he (slowly) started loving kids when james and lily had hari (james promised him that he would be the godfather to their next kid. it never happened)

his humor consists of dad, sarcastic and self-deprecating jokes and dark humor (sirius share the last three and james is concerned by some of the jokes they make. peter thinks they're funny)

i like ranting about my own works, so have a bunch of little details about the universe of how to not die young, basically just some small little canon things i like (some may be written & some i might not get to adding,) (psa, some are silly & happy and some are very much not,) (another psa, there is no major spoilers in these,)

middle school James had a baby mustache that he insisted he'd grow out but he eventually shaved it off because he hated the sensory of it

Sirius and Mary used to date, but they split up when they both realized how gay they are (now theyre just very good friends)

Lily and Remus met because Lily used to be the librarian's assistant and he kept hiding in there, (he also had a shit ton of overdue books)

Remus' mom has a degree in english literature, but right now she works for tech support at an old person's home

Remus has never gone trick or treating

Regulus was a biter as a child, Sirius has a scar to prove it

Marlene tries really hard to impress Dorcas but fucks it up everytime by either tripping over her own feet or saying the wrong thing, (Dorcas thinks its cute)

Barty has eaten a bar of soap before

Evan knows Monty because he works as the secretary at his doctors office,

Barty has never met any of his grandparents because his parents never bothered introducing him,

James' parents don't know he has anxiety problems because he just stuffs it down so much

Sirius eats dandelions, for some fucking reason, he's just weird

Regulus used to have dinner alone some nights because he'd skip dinner with the family to avoid the constant loudness and bickering, sometimes he'd make something for himself, sometimes Kreacher would make something for him and sit with him

Regulus tells Sirius whenever his boobs hurt because it makes Sirius gag

James and Remus are the ultimate people pleasers
