Found my old low poly models (from 2013) and got inspired to make a new version of them, keeping them as simple and naive as the originals were. These are Vaerafes, my creatures.
A LoW POLY Blockbench model I made for my friend @ninacti0n for a Halloween discord server event thing. More specifically, I turned her character DOM into a zombie. Henceforth I call him ZOM-DOM.
He was a 2-day build kinda thing, fully posable yet lacks the conventional skeleton rigging since blockbench just doesn't have that.
I also made him a sheet, kinda like a toy ad...... and may or may not have made a fictional toy brand for my world but anyways.
I also sent her the model itself so if she does rig him herself, she'll have to deal with my folder configurations and the unfinished ribcage texture I left because no one's gonna see it. Have fun with your lad lol
Now I present to you 3 months of work; Twelve’s low-poly 3D model! Made by me on Blockbench and is available for free download on Sketchfab.
I always wanted to make a model of Twelve and I’m glad I got around to finishing him. Don’t know what I’ll use him for. Heck, I don’t know what you guys could possibly use him for! But no matter, he’s real now…
I hope you enjoy it. Try to have a good Sunday? (I never post on Sunday so we’ll see how this goes for me.)
I love Chaos Walking so much I made a Mayor Prentiss 3D model hahaaha aahahahaha...
This fandom is a graveyard but if you wanna play around w this model and pose or animate him I can send you a ZIP file. Otherwise you can view him in 3D here! VVV
Honestly I MIGHT redesign him anyway ahaha, my headcannon designs are a bit 'complex' when in the books he's probably in the most simplest outfit ever like a white tux or something lol.
Just decided to post some of my old 3D models - they were all made as mobs for Impressive Title game. I was trying to create my own world in this game, creating locations and creatures. They were all very simple and barely interactive, but it became a strong inspiration for me to finally build my world into something more or less whole. Before that, all I had was many pieces of random ideas, but this game inspired me for bring my own world to life, and was also my first motivation to learn Blender (although the old blender and its interface was really confusing).
Not all, but many ideas from this old game are still part of my world - such as the cold Narr-Vaan desert and Shayfkha forest. Some old creatures also still live in my world, although sometimes I change and improve their details and lore.
Memories of this game inspired me to make new models for my creatures, and also to try to return a simpler and more sincere attitude to worldbuilding, working with this in a natural way for me personally.
